Do you recall receiving this email from Ms. Maxwell in 2004? I do not. Have you ever seen this email before? Only in preparation for the testimony. And we understand je in the email is meant Jeffrey Epstein. Did you also understand Jeffrey to be Jeffrey Epstein? I would assume so. Would you please explain in general what Ms. Maxwell is saying in this email with the subject line hey, at the top of the page, I assume she's talking about how she's going to define her relationship with Mr. Epstein with me and her life. Question and to clarify, for the sake of the record, when Ms. Maxwell is referring to our relationship in the email, is she referring to her relationship with you? I don't know. We can step back and make it more general, though, based on this email and what we're seeing here. Maybe in a small way, but it wasn't the primary driving factor. Why were you so sure that you weren't going to marry her? It's just the relationship had kind of run its course. I just knew that wasn't right for me. Mr. I'd like to pivot now to your connections to the Clinton family. When did you first meet President Clinton? In the late 90s, 98 or 99 in Dublin, Ireland, at a gateway event. Can you describe a little bit more of the circumstances? Who introduced you to President Clinton? I was like met him himself. He pulled up to our factory in a limo and he got out by himself and I greeted him. You said this was an event. Yes. Who else was at the event? The prime minister of Ireland and around 2,500 other people. The ambassadors were signing a digital treaty between Ireland and the United States. What did you discuss with President Clinton on that day? It was all business. I walked him through our operation and, and then we discussed the logistics of the event, signing the treaty, and then we went live on CNN.com and we all gave speeches and then I rushed out to beat him, to beat his airplane out. Question when did you first meet Secretary Clinton? And I believe it was later than that, after he left office early 2000s question can you describe the circumstances surrounding your first meeting with Secretary Clinton? Answer the first time I recall meeting Secretary Clinton was at a dinner, a small, very private dinner in New York. Answer or question in New York, who else was present? I traveled with him on a few trips, would see him and catch up over coffee or lunch when I was in New York or he was on the west coast, and still do. Question can you estimate about how frequently you would see President Clinton? Answer Once or twice a year. Question did you ever have any business with President Clinton? I was a donor to the Clinton Library. Question Were you a donor to any other organization or foundation that was related to President Clinton? I might have done some small grants to the Clinton Foundation. The big grant I gave was to support his construction of the library. Yeah, I'm not as close as with the President, but I've met her on several, multiple occasions. She's been to my home. I've been to her home. So I met her on multiple occasions. Yeah. Question and you said that you've been to her home. Which home is that? Answer the home in Chappaqua as well as the her home in D.C. which I don't know if she still has that home or not. Yes. Did that decision to break up, did it have anything to do with the continued employment with Mr. Epstein? I mean, I wasn't sure that she was working for Mr. Epstein at that point in time, but he was a continuous presence in her life. And was that presence part of what made you want to end things? Maybe in a small way, but it wasn't the primary driving factor. Why were you so sure that you weren't going to marry her? It's just the relationship had kind of run its course. I just knew that wasn't right for me. Mr. I'd like to pivot now to your connections to the Clinton family. When did you first meet President Clinton? In the late 90s, 98 or 99 in Dublin, Ireland, at a gateway event. Can you describe a little bit more of the circumstances? Who introduced you to President Clinton? I was like met him himself. He pulled up to our factory in a limo and he got out by himself and I greeted him. You said this was an event. Yes. Who else was at the event? The prime minister of Ireland and around 2,500 other people. The ambassadors were signing a digital treaty between Ireland and the United States. What did you discuss with President Clinton on that day? It was all business. I walked him through our operation and, and then we discussed the logistics of the event, signing the treaty, and then we went live on CNN.com and we all gave speeches and then I rushed out to beat him, to beat his airplane out. Question when did you first meet Secretary Clinton? And I believe it was later than that, after he left office early 2000s question can you describe the circumstances surrounding your first meeting with Secretary Clinton? Answer the first time I recall meeting Secretary Clinton was at a dinner, a small, very private dinner in New York. Answer or question in New York, who else was present? We became friends. I played golf with him quite a few times. I traveled with him on a few trips, would see him and catch up over coffee or lunch when I was in New York or he was on the west coast, and still do. Question can you estimate about how frequently you would see President Clinton? Answer Once or twice a year. Question did you ever have any business with President Clinton? I was a donor to the Clinton Library. Question Were you a donor to any other organization or foundation that was related to President Clinton? I might have done some small grants to the Clinton Foundation. The big grant I gave was to support his construction of the library. Question and we'll return to that in a little bit, the Clinton Foundation. But for now, can you briefly describe the extent and nature of your relationship with Secretary Clinton? Yeah, I'm not as close as with the President, but I've met her on several, multiple occasions. She's been to my home. I've been to her home. So I met her on multiple occasions. Yeah. Question and you said that you've been to her home. Which home is that? Answer the home in Chappaqua as well as the her home in D.C. which I don't know if she still has that home or not. Question how many times did you visit the home in Chappaqua? Answer I don't recall exactly. Two or three. Question do you recall any specific times that you went? Can you recount who else was there with you? Typically, I would have been by myself. There was no other occasions where? At the home in Chappaqua. At the home in Chappaqua? Yes.
