Visit your nearby Lowes. Boss what's the most dreaded question that you can get when you tell people you host a podcast called the Lapsed Fan? Ugh. It's what is it about and why is that, do you think? Because to like pro wrestling is to lose the respect of others. Now what if we told you there's a podcast that explains exactly why that is and why it's kind of deserved? For over a decade we've taken fact finding missions through the thicket of half truths that is wrestling history. We watch old matches, call out carnies, laugh at our own jokes, and have so much fun doing it that some people actually can't handle it. Think wrestling is an escape from real life? Think again. Same power games, same office politics, same people lying to your face. Just with entrance music and absolutely no company health insurance under any circumstances. All I offer is opportunity, not benefits. As do we, Vince. The Lapsed Fan Podcast Come for the wrestling history. Stay for the uncomfortable truth about why it used to be better and why you still care.

What's up everyone? And welcome to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. When it comes to the people that enabled Jeffrey Epstein, nobody enabled them more than the Core four. And those were the four women that were his most trusted assistants. And they of course were Sarah Kellen Vickers, Adriana Ross, Leslie Grof, and Nadia Marcinkova, who I dubbed the Core four. Now, of these four women, the only woman that I think deserves any kind of second look as far as somebody who might have been a victim, is Nadia Marsenkova. Especially if the story we heard about how she came into Epstein's orbit is true, then I think that Nadia Marcinkova and her story deserves a different kind of lens than the other women. Now, does that mean that she is not responsible for anything she did? Of course not. I'm real big on self responsibility and once you get to a certain age, it's time for that to kick in. But we also have to keep in mind the psychological issues, the trauma and the bonds that were forged under that trauma that led to Nadia doing what she did. Allegedly. So I certainly have some compassion for Nadia Marcinkova. And I've been very clear about that over the years. When we first started talking about this, I looked at Nadia like the rest of those women, right? Like she was, you know, one of the core four who was absolutely draconian and horrible. But as we learn more, it was obvious to me anyway that Nadia was a little bit different and that there was a situation around Nadia that needed to be looked at with some nuance. And then, of course, with the Epstein files release, we find out that Nadia was a cooperating witness behind the scenes. So that certainly goes to her favor. Sarah Kellen Vickers certainly wasn't cooperating. Neither was Leslie Groff or Adriana Ross. So I certainly give that credit, right? And I think it shows remorse and it shows that Nadia knows that she did something wrong. So today we're going to talk a little bit more about Nadia Marcinkova. And to do that, we have an article from the BBC. Headline, Victim or Enabler. Epstein's girlfriend who could face questions despite plea deal. Girlfriend. Guys, come on. Do you guys not know the story here? This article was authored by Tim Whewell and Jacob Pole. During Jeffrey Epstein's first spell in jail, a 13 month sentence for soliciting sex from an underage girl. Prison records show one woman visiting him 67 times. That woman was Nadia Marcinkov, or in this article they call her Marchinko. Marchinko was Epstein's main girlfriend for seven years, his most significant partner after Glenn Maxwell, and in later years, an assistant pilot of his private plane. She is comparatively unknown to the public, but she may soon find herself in the spotlight. Tell me you don't know the story without telling me you don't know the story. And that's why I do this podcast, honestly, because I feel like all of you deserve to have, you know, as close to the truth as we can get. You need to know all the players on the stage and you need to know where everybody fits in, right? I mean, we have a lot of moving parts here and not everybody is the same. Marchenko is one of four women who were named as Epstein's potential co conspirators in a 2008 plea deal that granted them immunity from prosecution. Now, two of those women, Epstein assistant Sarah Kellen and Leslie Groff, are about to be questioned by US legislators. One congresswoman wants all four, including Adriana Ross, another Epstein assistant, and Marchenko to be investigated despite the plea deal. And look, words matter. What do you mean despite the plea deal? The plea deal should be null and void. Epstein violated that plea deal the second he left jail. That NPA should be thrown away yesterday. And the fact they're not even talking about that. Well, it shows you that we should be. Marcinkova has never been accused of or charged with any crime. Her lawyers say she's one of Epstein's victims. But girls in Palm Beach, Florida, whose testimony about their abuse when they were underage led to Epstein's conviction in 2008, told the police that Marchenko participated in that abuse. Look, Nadia was so under the spell of Jeffrey Epstein that it's not even funny. This girl was coerced, she was groomed, and all of this was normalized from a young age. Imagine being ripped from your parents, sold whatever it was, and you get brought into this life of debauchery and degeneracy, and everybody's involved in it. And you're some girl from Slovakia. You don't know the first thing about the first thing. Ah, this is how the Americans live. Great. Perfect. The whole entire thing is fucking heinous. The BBC has spent months interviewing those who have met Marchenko and scrutinizing every email we could find between her and Epstein in the files to try and build a detailed picture of her role in the disgraced financier's life. The emails reveal Epstein and Marsakova wanted to start a family together, we have discovered. The BBC has also found evidence suggesting that over many years, he asked her to recruit other women to help satisfy his sexual desires, and she complied. Look, there's no doubt that Nadia has to answer questions, but like I said before, I think it's nuanced, and I think it's more than just black and white here. Whereas with Sarah Kellen Vickers, oh, it's black and white. That lady part of the problem. That lady part of the enterprise. That lady, in my opinion, should be indicted. But the emails also exposed deeply coercive tendencies on the part of Epstein. Marcinkova later told investigators that he was physically violent, choking her and throwing her down a flight of stairs. We have had access to her account to investigators via a document that was released, heavily redacted, by the U. S. Department of justice in January. Marchenko's name is not visible, but the five pages of testimony match in every detail what we know about her from other sources. The BBC contacted Marcinkova for a comment, but she did not reply. Since Epstein's death in prison of 2019, awaiting further sex charges, she has disappeared from public view. She's not going to talk to them. Zero chance. Zero chance. Back in the day when I used to do live streams, Nadia actually popped into one of those live streams over on Facebook. She didn't say anything, but she was there lurking. And I think that Nadia wants to tell her story, but I think she's scared. And I don't blame her, honestly, I really don't. But if I could give her advice, it would be to get out in front of all of it. And I think that if she tells her story and she does it truthfully, that she's going to find that a lot of people are receptive to it. Now, does that mean that she should be, you know, granted forgiveness, that there should be no legal consequences? I'm not saying that. That's not up to me. That's up to an investigation. That's up to looking at the evidence. That's up to talking to psychologists, you know, the whole thing. But from the evidence we have, from what we know, I think that the Nadia Marcinkova question is one of the hardest to answer. And this is a topic that I go back and forth on. Of course I feel like Nadia was mistreated. I feel like she was coerced, and I feel like she was groomed. But also I feel bad for the girls who were abused by her and Epstein. At the same time, their abuse matters, too. So when I say this is one of those questions that really doesn't have any good answers, that's what I mean. So the question is, how do we navigate the waters and do it in a way that is fair to everybody, fair to the people who were abused, and fair to Nadia, who was abused, but also did some abusing? I think that that's a valid question and it's a valid debate

Visit your nearby Lowe's. The calls for investigation into Marcinkova have raised important questions about whether a victim of sexual coercion can also be deemed as an accomplice. Definitely a tough question and I wish I was qualified to answer it. All I can give you is my opinion. And I think that I go on a case by case basis wherever the evidence takes me. I don't believe all women I don't believe all this one. I believe the evidence. And wherever the evidence takes me, that's where I'm gonna drift. Marinko was born Nadia Marcinkova into a comfortably off respected family in Slovakia. She told federal investigators who interviewed her after Epstein's death that she had first met the financier in New York in 2003, when she was 18, at a birthday party for Jean Luc Brunel, a close friend of Epstein's. Brunel ran the New York branch for the agency in Paris, and Brunel brought her to the US a few weeks before his party on a visa that he had arranged. Well, is that true? I don't know. We've heard she was 14 now. If it's true that she was 18 when she came into Epstein's orbit, that changes the conversation. This seems to be backed up by email chains the BBC traced in the Epstein files that reveal, years afterward, Marcin Colva and Epstein celebrated the same date, September 17th, as her anniversary. I don't believe she was 18. Sorry, I don't believe that. Not for a minute. Marcinkova was an unlikely international model, says a primary school classmate who we're calling Joseph. Though she was beautiful, she was very shy. What we call Sera Miska, a little gray mouse. She began modeling as a teenager, with assignments soon taking her to Japan and Taiwan. She once told a Slovak newspaper a few days after she met Epstein at Brunel's party, Epstein invited her to his mansion in Palm Beach, Marcinkova told investigators, and from there, flight logs confirm she went on to his private Caribbean Island, Little St. James. She was legally an adult, but the imbalance between them in power, wealth and age was huge. Epstein was already 50, so 32 years her senior. I don't know if I believe the age. Can we get some confirmation on that? Because Brunel sponsored her visa, and because Epstein bankrolled Brunel's agency to the tune of a million dollars, she felt, she later told investigators, that Epstein could have her deported with a single phone call to Brunel. Immigration fraud used for the trafficking ring. Another example. How many more examples do people need? So even if you don't believe the widespread human trafficking of children, how can you try and deny this? And this is one of my biggest problems when it comes to the people who only want to talk about salacious nonsense. I know it drives engagement, and I know it gets you a bag, but it also screws everything up when it comes to perspective. I mean, some of the comments I see people make when it comes to this topic is it's just insane. People that have no business talking about this subject act like there's some kind of foremost authority on it. And it's just bananas to see because anybody who knows this case, anybody who knows what Epstein was up to, anybody who knows the kind of they like to do, then they know that it all started with immigration fraud. And that didn't just happen, you know, spontaneously. There were people in the immigration office helping them. Who are those people? Why haven't they been outed? Are we ever going to get an investigation into that? She traveled with them constantly, she told investigators. And emails, both in their tone and content, suggest they rapidly became a couple. Gwaine Maxwell was still Epstein's close friend and was finding other women for him, but their sexual relationship was coming to an end. Our research suggests Marcinkova was now his main girlfriend, the email show. But though there is plenty of sentiment in the emails and Epstein writes to someone else in 2009 that I am in love with Nadia, the exchanges also reveal how domineering he was. An email from that year gives a flavor of what he seems to have expected from her. I want you to learn how to cook eggs. Scrambled, poached, over easy. I want you to learn how to run a house. I want no arguments during the Monday to Friday week. I want you to read one of the hundred great books every month. I want beautiful things only in the house. You cannot put anything in without letting me see it first. That seems like a very, very great two way relationship, huh? Don't put anything in the house without letting me see it first. Boy, you should try running that shit by my girlfriend. Hey, babe, I don't think you should buy anything before I can give it a look. That's like in the top 10 of things not to say to an Italian American woman. But all kidding aside, that's the way Jeffrey Epstein talked to everybody. Every single relationship was built on domination. After his death, Marcinkova told investigators Epstein had controlled every aspect of her life, including her weight and clothing. She said that he forced her to have multiple plastic surgeries and physically abused her. We have not found any direct mention of those incidents in their email exchanges, but that does not mean they do not exist somewhere in the files. In one email we found she accuses him of abusive partner behavior. And there is repeated reference to Epstein's expectation that Marcinkova will scout for other women or girls for him. And I want you to keep in mind that that was part of Jeffrey Epstein's trap once you started getting girls for him. You're a part of the enterprise. You have criminal culpability. And now he holds that over your head, as well as the immigration stuff. Look, when I tell you there's levels to this, this is what I'm talking about. I don't know if we've ever dealt with somebody as nefarious as Jeffrey Epstein. All right, folks, we're gonna wrap up episode one right here, and in the next episode, we're gonna pick up where we left off. The Epstein Chronicles
Episode: The Epstein Criminal Enterprise And The Nadia Marcinkova Conundrum (Part 1)
Host: Bobby Capucci
Date: May 19, 2026
In this episode, Bobby Capucci delves into the complex role of Nadia Marcinkova in Jeffrey Epstein’s criminal enterprise, questioning whether she was purely an enabler or also a victim. Capucci examines Marcinkova’s background, alleged actions, and the psychological and legal nuances of her involvement with Epstein, drawing upon a recent BBC investigative article. This discussion is framed within the larger context of Epstein’s “Core Four” female associates — women pivotal to his operation — and raises difficult questions about complicity, victimhood, and accountability.
Bobby Capucci’s exploration of the “Nadia Marcinkova conundrum” spotlights the difficulties in drawing moral and legal lines within complex abuse networks like Epstein’s. Marcinkova’s case raises profound questions about victimhood, complicity, and justice. Capucci’s tone is direct, skeptical of mainstream reporting, empathetic toward those coerced into criminal roles, but insistent on accountability and evidence-based conclusions. The episode closes with an invitation for continued investigation and deeper analysis in the next episode.
