to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles over in the uk Things are still moving when it comes to the Epstein investigation as we're learning that the police over in the UK have now set up a new task force that is going to be taking a look at possible exploitation and abuse by Jeffrey Epstein and related to Jeffrey Epstein over in the uk. And this is not the first task force that we've seen over in the UK related to Jeffrey Epstein. Meanwhile, back here in the good old United States, it's wall to wall coverage of the war and unfortunately I think that was the whole purpose. I know that sounds cynical and conspiratorial and I can't prove it, but it's obvious to me that these domestic issues played a gigantic part in initiating that war. And the more the administration tries to ignore this topic and the more they try to make us move on the more convinced of that I am. So today we have an article from the Daily Mail and the headline new Police Task Force to Investigate UK exploitation and sexual abuse linked to Jeffrey Epstein. This article was authored by Ryan Hooper. Police have stepped up their investigation into UK based sexual abuse allegations linked to Jeffrey Epstein. Well, look, there was a lot of talk and a lot of allegations that were made over the years about the uk and that's why when Scotland Yard, the Met Police Department closed their investigation, I told you it was crazy. There was plenty of evidence. The problem was they couldn't expose that evidence without exposing Prince Andrew and the Queen was just not going to allow it. But now that the Queen is gone and this ball has started rolling, I think we're going to see a lot more come out about Prince Andrew and the he was up to. Because if you think that it started and stopped with Virginia, you got another thing coming. Look at how emboldened he was and look at how confidently he lied to everybody during that BBC interview. This is a man that was involved in all kinds of wild, whether it's financial, whether it's passing confidential information or whether it's engaging in abuse with Epstein or adjacent to him. This piece of was doing it all. And I really hope that this task force is going to do the right thing and really dig deep because if they do, I think they're going to find everything they want and more. Detectives pouring over the welter of material released by the U.S. department of justice have set up a gold group of specialists to look into allegations of sexual offending, including abuse, exploitation and trafficking carried out in the uk. And if they really dig deep here and they do a real investigation, I think a lot of people are going to get caught up. And can we talk about the pilots, please? These pilots knew exactly what they were doing. A guy like Vasoski knew exactly what was up. We all read the deposition together. You heard what he had to say. Did you believe him? Well, I'm sure you didn't, because the things he was saying were wholly unbelievable and we know that now. And how many of these people that gave depositions in the past have now been shown to be liars due to the release of these documents? Has anyone been charged with perjury? Has anybody been arrested? I bet you you would be. Go ahead and lie during a deposition and see how quick you get charged with perjury. The pedophile financier had links to the uk, including through the former Duke of York, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, his wife Sarah Ferguson and labor Grandee Peter Mandelson and is believed to have visited Buckingham palace and 10 Downing street, let's not forget, had himself a nice little visit with Tony Blair himself. You see, Epstein's not a new figurehead here. Epstein's been around these people forever and he was accepted. Not just around them, not just to hang her on, but a well respected member of their inner circle. And I think that's what people leave out of this story. Oh, Epstein was just a great con man. No, he wasn't. That wasn't all he was. Sure that was part of it. But the truth is, a lot of these people, they didn't have to be conned. They walked into this with their eyes wide open, no knowing exactly what they were getting into, and they just thought they'd be protected. When you have a guy like Epstein with all of his contacts, all of his protections, of course you feel like you're going to be protected as well. And then you add to that, we're talking about the Prince of England. This dude never thought he was going to get caught up. He died in prison in 2019 after being found hanged in his cell while awaiting trial for child trafficking offenses. Around a dozen police forces in the UK have already confirmed that they're looking into any potential crimes carried out on their patch. Linked Epstein. Well, I don't think it's going to be hard to find people who were abused by Epstein over in the uk. Even if it was just a transit point, there has to be a reckoning, right? Who allowed it? Why was Epstein allowed to move so unburdened through these airports? And how come there weren't mechanisms there to stop him, especially after he was already a convicted sex offender. You think you'd have more scrutiny, right? Oh, well, this guy's out here diddling kids, coming to our country, man. Maybe we should tell him to. Off in my best Logan Roy VOICE off is what I would say to him. But no, somebody in the UK thought it would be a good idea to continue to allow Epstein access. So who was it and why? And now the national group set up in February to support police forces with their investigations has confirmed it's created a separate strand to focus solely on violence against women and girls allegations. And I think that's a great move because if you're just focusing on that strand and you're following that lead, then you're going to have more people that are in the game, right? People that are actually looking for victims, people that are looking for girls who might want to speak out. And I think A lot of these women that are going to come forward or maybe come forward are located over in Europe. So I think it's important that we have that kind of investigation going on and we know we can't count on the United States to do it. And it pains me to say that it is unbelievably embarrassing to say that, but here we are. They've approached potential victims to share their accounts, including women who have previously spoken to BBC News Night. Good morning Britain. The group will be chaired by Assistant Chief Constable Claire Bell, Deputy Director of the national center for Violence Against Women and Girls and Public Protection. So I'm not familiar with any of these figures over in the uk, so I don't know, you know, about like political moves or anything like that, but I think it's a really good idea to have a task force that is solely focused on girls who are abused. Considering our own DOJ has said there's over a thousand. Probably a good idea to figure out who's who, who was abused, where and if anyone can be held accountable. No, it's going to prioritize identifying the scale, scope and nature of any potential UK based offending within the files and establishing a nationally coordinated and consistent approach to gathering and assessing intelligence. ACC Bell said policing operates locally but must remain nationally coherent, which is why the coordination group have been established to ensure we're joining the dots as the public would expect. Working with the nca, we are reviewing and assessing the published files. We have also reached out to survivors who have shared their experiences with the media to invite them to speak to UK authorities should they feel comfortable to do so. Police forces may receive direct contact from potential victims and survivors, reporting matters that are not contained in the Epstein files. Release officers will listen with care to anyone who takes the courageous step of contacting us. Well, isn't that nice? This is what they should have done years ago. If they were really serious, they would have done it. But again, it was all about Andrew. Remember they were trying to protect the monarchy and the Queen was alive at the time. So it's not like Scotland Yard is going to go against the Queen. Right? Not exactly something that they're apt to do.

But in this current environment, I would think that they're going to charge hard and they're going to look deep because they know, right, they know that the people are watching and there has to be some kind of accountability. Of course, the question is like always, will it be real accountability or just theater? She said that the police would be meticulous in its assessment of the files, which include more than 3 million documents and pictures released and trenches by the U.S. she said the volume of material is significant and the detailed assessment of the files will take time, which I fully appreciate can be both frustrating and traumatic for anyone impacted. But it's crucial that we get this right. Taking a methodical and coordinated approach to safeguard the integrity of any potential investigation. Well, that's certainly something they should keep in mind because you want to make sure that your evidence is usable and if you're collecting it in a way that's not going to stand up in court, well, what's the point? So it's important that they do the right thing and hopefully they do. I hope that they're going to go as hard as they can to try and find people who are involved because I think if they do that they're going to hit pay dirt. Our priority throughout will remain the safety, well being and confidence of the survivors. The VAWG Coordination Group will work alongside the NCA and the Tackling Organized Exploitation Program and draw upon the expertise of colleagues from hydrant, the CSE Child Sexual Exploitation Task Force and Operation Beaconport. ACC Bell added, no single crime takes priority over another and the establishment of the second group and investment in in additional intelligence resources reflects the increasing complexity and sensitivity of these matters. Yo, it's so crazy that they're so late to the party. If you would have just paid even a little bit of attention previously, you would have known how bad things were in the UK and how Jeffrey Epstein was exploiting girls by the dozen. Running in tandem, the group will enable us to consider any and all potential offending and reaffirm our commitment to victims and survivors of abuse. We remain focused on protecting people and maintaining public confidence. US lawmakers have repeatedly called for Mr. Mountbatten Windsor to answer questions about his links to Epstein. He's denied any wrongdoing over his Epstein links. Pressure is also mounting on Ferguson to testify in the US over her apparent friendship with Epstein. Although there's been no formal request for her to do so. Files released by the Department of Justice in January revealed she remained in contact with the disgraced financier pedophile, including just 17 days before his release from a Florida jail for soliciting sex with minors. Last month, both Mr. Mandelson and Mr. Mountbatten Windsor were separately arrested by police in connection with the pedophile financier. They were both released under investigation. So what this tells me is that things are advancing over in the UK and they're looking to open up a few more doors. So we'll see what the UK comes up with and just how deep and how far this investigation goes until then. That's going to do it for this one.
