Now, I used to think that Donald Trump wouldn't be so stupid, but now I don't know. In fact, I'm leaning towards Donald Trump given Glenn Maxwell that pardon at some point, probably when he's leaving office as one last fu to the Epstein survivors. But I think that the likelihood of that happening is pretty good, especially considering Donald Trump is out here calling it a hoax, saying it's all just a bunch of bs and we all know that he used to be friends with Ghislaine Maxwell, with Jeffrey Epstein. Is he looking to throw his friend a little bone, no pun intended, and try to help himself at the same time? She's already been moved. And that move itself goes against every single protocol that's on the books for the BoP. So we've already had that and nothing came of it. Nobody's even talking about it anymore like it's no big deal. Ah, you know what? Ghislaine Maxwell was moved for no reason, no good reason. And it went against every single precedent and protocol that's on the books. No hearings about that. We're not gonna subpoena whoever's in charge of the bop, whoever's in charge of Tallahassee, who's ever in charge of Camp Bryant to get to the bottom of it. I mean, at this point, what would it matter, at least for Donald Trump's reputation? I mean, not like it's going to be any worse for him. And I think that considering all of that and considering the way he's been very vocal about this in public, I mean, he told the DOJ to target his enemies that were friendly with Epstein. He's literally giving the game away. So do you really think that he wouldn't go so far as pardoning Galaine Maxwell? I have to reevaluate my whole entire opinion on it because I don't think Donald Trump cares anymore about the optics when it comes to Epstein. So why would he care about Gain Maxwell going free? He thinks it's all a hoax. I don't know what the percentages are, David. Oscar Marcus, Maxwell's attorney, told Politico there's a good chance and for a good reason that she would get a pardon. Oh, yeah, real good reason. Maybe we should go into the transcripts and read word for word what the survivors had to say about Gain Maxwell at the trial. He thinks he's slick. He thinks he's cute, but really, his narrative's. And everything he says about his client, Glenn Maxwell is garbage. Your client. Convicted sex trafficker and child abuser, bro. That's what she is. You can try and change the narrative all you want, but the facts are what the facts are. Maxwell obviously wants clemency. He said there's no secret about that. I don't think now is the best time to do it with everything going on. Yeah, wait till things calm down, Is that what you're saying? So that they can do it undercover one day when, you know, I don't know. Someone launches a tactical nuke. The next day, G. Maxwell will get the pardon because they'll have the COVID they need. And I'm only being half facetious when I say that. Then there's the other theory that I have, that Trump just doesn't care and he'll just do it and then tell you to go get. He already told you a traitor. He already said he doesn't want your vote if you think Epstein's real, so what does he care? It's not like MAGA is going to bounce on him over Epstein. In fact, they're tightening the ranks. Trump previously said he's not given much thought to the possibility of granting Maxwell clemency, but he has not ruled it out. Late last year, he told reporters he would speak to the DOJ about it. The idea has been floated as Epstein and his crimes continue to grab the nation's attention. Some have suggested a pardon for Maxwell so she can detail other people allegedly involved in Epstein's crimes while. Oh, give me a break. Give me a break. Tell me you don't know how trials work without telling me. Ghislaine Maxwell is a destroyed witness. Nothing she says can be taken seriously. She's already been charged with perjury twice, and she would have been convicted, but they ended up dropping it as part of her deal when she got convicted on the other crimes. So please stop the bs. Can you imagine Ghislaine Maxwell getting on the witness stand and Mark Agnifilo launching questions at her cross examining her? Or maybe Tenny Garagos or maybe Alan Jackson. How do you think that's going to end up? A White House spokesperson referred to the Independent to the president's previous comments, as well as remarks from Press Secretary Caroline Levitt, during which she said that Trump was not considering a pardon for a Maxwell. A number of lawmakers, particularly Democrats, have expressed strong opposition to the notion of granting Maxwell any form of reprieve. Look, any human being who has looked at any of the evidence should feel that same way. Anybody talking about Ghislaine Maxwell getting a pardon is mentally disturbed. Representative Robert Garcia, a California Democrat, told Politico that pardoning Maxwell would be disgusting and outrageous, noting that she helped Jeffrey Epstein treated traffic, young women and girls. The brother of Virginia Roberts and Epstein survivor who died last year told NBC News in September that a pardon would be the biggest slap in the face for us as a family and to these girls. Oh, it would be bad news, I have to tell you. It would really be bad. There's a lot of people that would traumatize like you would not believe. A lot of people would be very scared. Well, you think Elaine Maxwell is not going to show up with a grudge? She most certainly would. And with all the money she has and all the people she knows could get real dangerous for people. I don't think 20 years is enough. He added, I think that people that are able to put that kind of evil out into the world should be locked away forever. Last year, Congress passed the Epstein Files Transparency act requiring the Department of Justice to release all its documents on Epstein. Although the department missed the law's deadline, it has since published millions of pages, many of which mention Trump and other prominent figures. The House Oversight Committee is now probing Epstein's network and has interviewed several individuals, including former President Bill Clinton and Ohio billionaire Les Wexner, who had close ties to Epstein. An appearance in the files does not mean wrongdoing, and many people, including Trump, have said that they had nothing to do with Epstein's crimes. Maxwell's lies are at the heart of the controversy. In 2022, she was convicted on multiple sex crime charges, including sex trafficking of a minor, making her the only Epstein co conspirator to be tried and found guilty. She was sentenced to 20 years in prison and has maintained her innocence. Last October, Supreme Court denied her appeal, seeking a review of whether prosecutors had fairly brought the case against her. That decision left the White House as her only remaining path to getting out of prison. And you see why she reacted the way she did. And you see why she answered the questions that Blanche was asking her the way she did. And Todd Blanche bro should be ashamed of himself. Imagine being a lawman and softballing Lane Maxwell like that. It is absurd. I don't think I've ever seen anything in the realm of depositions or interviews that even comes close to how softball that was. While serving out her sentence in Florida, she took part in a lengthy interview with then Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanch, the president's former attorney. During their sit down, Maxwell said she never saw Trump engage in any kind of inappropriate behavior. And while that might be the case, the COVID up that's going on is certainly inappropriate and it's behavior that Trump is engaging in. And at some point that's gonna be the focus. Shortly afterward, she was moved to a minimum security prison in Texas, a transfer that Trump said he knew nothing about. Yeah, no idea. Everybody just does whatever they want in the Trump administration and Donald Trump has no say. So is that really what he's saying? In February, Maxwell invoked her Fifth Amendment right and refused to answer questions during a virtual appearance before the House Oversight Committee. At the time, Marcus said his clients prepared to speak fully and honestly if granted clemency by President Trump. Well, she doesn't have an honest bone in her body, so I don't believe anything she's saying anyway. And if she had anything of substance to give up, she would have gave it up previously. But as far as Trump giving her a pardon, I would say it's about 25% that he does, maybe even closer to 50. Because if Trump says that this is a hoax, then he probably thinks that Ghislaine Maxwell is being wrongly accused and wrongly imprisoned. And of course, Trump might see that as a, you know, another reason, another way to dunk on the libs. So he might do it just out of spite. And under normal circumstances, with normal people, I would never even believe that. But I think Donald Trump has shown us just how spiteful he can be. So I have no doubt that he'd have no problem pardoning Glenn Maxwell and ignoring all the criticism that he ends up getting. He'll just call that a hoax too. But the real hoax here is the one that Donald Trump performed on people that believed him when he said that he cared about the Epstein files, that he cared about the survivors, and that there was going to be transparency. But instead we got the shit show that we're living through now. And considering all of that, I don't find the proposition of Donald Trump pardoning Glenn Maxwell to be that insane.
