“If we are training people to shut their feelings off, we owe it to them to show them how to turn them back on.” This week’s guest is a legit hero. George Faller was born in Queens and served tenure in both the NYPD and the FDNY. He served boldly at Ground Zero on 9/11, showing up not only on his shifts but volunteering as peer support in his off time. Also a trained therapist, George tentatively raised his hand to work as a couple’s therapist with first responders and their partners after the event. Goerge truly gets men and isn’t afraid of helping men out of their darkest and hardest places.
