
This week’s guest is Mike DeNicola. Mike began his career as an educator, teaching math, science and yoga to middle school children in Los Angeles Unified School District. Inspired by an international movement of wilderness education, he moved to Alaska to lead wilderness therapy expeditions with Americorps, SAGA and Alaska Crossings. Mike’s rescue training led him to volunteer as a search and rescue professional for Sat Nam Foundation’s crisis response program in Greece. After which he became an integral part of the Sat Nam Foundation team and served as executive director for 4 years, leading the charity in multiple international projects. At the end of 2019, he launched a charity called 'Spread the Love,’ bringing his focus on sharing music with impoverished communities. In between working, Mike has traveled the world.
