Oh, my gosh. Welcome back to the Fame Game, starring Heidi Montag, global pop superstar, and her husband, Spencer Pratt. Thank you for joining us. Thank you for watching the podcast. We finally, I mean, not finally. We just started a week ago, but we got in some top charts. So thank you to everyone listening. You know, that means maybe one day we'll get some air conditioning on the set here. So.
A
So many stars. 4.9 stars. That's incredible. Thank you.
B
Please. Even if you don't listen and you're just seeing this on social media, you could go like it and just, you know, give it a review.
A
Well, Spencer and I have both had a very big week, separately and collectively. I had my show in Vancouver that was incredible. The city is so beautiful. Vancouver is so beautiful. It's so, so clean. And the air quality is very noticeable when you go into the city. So that was great. The hotel was amazing. It was so amazing that Tava Cray herself ended up staying there. So I went to go get a massage and get ready for the show and the day. And then I get a text from Spencer, like, I just Talked to Tate McCray or she's sitting next to me, and I'm like, oh, my gosh, of all the things. Because Tomas, my stylist, he used to style Tate McCray also. And he's only had lovely, incredible things to say about her, obviously, because she's lovely and incredible and she's one of the biggest pop stars. So going into my own show and feeling that energy and inspiration from her, I got a little. A little nervous. But anyway, so you were sat next to her. What happened? Oh, she sat Next to you?
B
Yes, please. I was sitting in a very. You know, I like to be louder, make tiktoks. I always try to sit in a place where I don't mess with other people's meals. So I kind of went asked to be in the cut and I'm sitting there and all of a sudden, you know, she's a very. I feel like she's very tall. She looked like. And she's wearing like a very pop starry outfit and she has sunglasses on inside. And I kind of double take, like, because it's too unimaginable to be randomly have. Like, she's the number one selling female artist, I think maybe like ever right now. Her numbers are crazy. I just. I don't know exactly that quote. And she sits down like, our heads are. My head's here and her head's right behind me, like, back, like sitting in the face, right? I truly just go like this. Are you Tay McCray? Like, right? And she's like. She's like, yeah. And I was like, oh, my God. I was like, that is so amazing. I needed this energy upgrade. She obviously thought I was insane because she doesn't get, like, for me spiritually, I'm like, this is such a sign from God I'm in the right place. This is one of the most famous, successful people in the world. And we're just now aura connecting in the same vibrations of like, this. I needed this. I needed this for my whole movement. And I was like, congratulations on all your success. And I. She's sitting with two people more like my age. So I'm like, are you her parents? And they're like, yeah, like, you have done a great job. And then I get to watch, like some younger girls come and they're like, we flew from Italy. And watching how she interacted and kept getting up and just didn't. There was no shift in her mood, like, where she's like, oh, I'm gonna do a photo. Like, it was just so incredible to see this new generation does have a tape. I mean, obviously I love Greedy. It's like a hit. I thought sports cars hit. Like, I obviously thought she was very talented. But, like, when you see her interact with her fans, I was like, thank God there is this new level of fame, can connect to just a good human. And you can tell when somebody's a good human just when nobody's watching. She didn't know I was watching because I have eyes in the back of my head, but I was watching how she did it because if she had been not a nice person, I would have had a better TikTok. Also, a lot of people were upset with me for not asking her about performing at fire Aid. And I was like, you know, this is not. First off, she's Canadian. She probably did it for free and she thought the money was going to victims. So it's not on me to like make a moment. So for anybody that thinks I'm always just trying to get clicks, that would have been the most viewed thing if I had just been like, hey, you're Tate McCray. How do you feel about not letting any of the money you perform in fire?
A
Like, yeah, that wouldn't have been the respectful thing to do. It's morning, she's having breakfast, she's going out of her way to even talk. Talk to you. Yeah. So anyways, I'm glad you didn't do that, cuz that would have been appropriate at that moment in time. So then sensor.
B
No, no, I say, I say, you know, I don't want to interrupt, but can I get a tik tok with you? And she's like, can we do a selfie? And I was like, I don't really do selfies, so no problem. It's not a big deal. And so I just accepted that I wasn't getting the TikTok. And I went about drinking my seventh espresso and. And she comes back as she's leaving and like walks over and she's like, did you want to get that selfie? And I was like, you know, I really don't want a selfie. How about I make a TikTok? And you could just pose like you're doing a selfie. And she's like, huh. And it was like, it is actually a trend. It's like, make it look like it's a video, but it's a photo. And she's like, huh. And then I was like, so Taylor Swift. She had my baby. Like, she held my baby behind me.
A
She had your baby. She held your baby.
B
She held my baby. I had your baby. I probably said that though. I was like talking so fast, you.
A
Know what is happening?
B
And I was like, she had my baby. She's holding my baby because of this thing I did with coffee. And look at me. So I'm gonna do that. And you can just like. She literally was like, this guy is a lunatic. And she's like, well, I'm gonna do the peace signed. Awesome. She's gonna do the peace sign. So I do. Look what you made me do. Look at you. And she just keeps doing peace sign. Peace sign. It worked out incredible.
A
So it was great. And then yeah. So we got ready for after that glam. Had glam. And then we wanted to go see Vancouver and get some looks done. Because when we are, when I'm at a show and in different city, we try to get as much content as possible. We have hair, makeup, the whole team there. So we try to get as many looks as much content for like the rest of the week. So we went to Vancouver. We ended up. There were a few cars out front. We took some outfit photos there. And then we went to this place, the airport. What was it called? Like the sea harbor.
B
The sea planes are.
A
Which was incredible. But there was this crazy convention there too. So I fit right in. It was perfect. I was like the least anime.
B
She fit in with a crazy anime.
A
It was great. It was perfect.
B
I wanted to get some photos with anime people and Tomas was not feeling it creatively.
A
I think we were doing like focused photo shoot of me in Vancouver getting ready.
B
I still thank you with all these people with swords and you know, have been a cool thing.
A
You know, it could have been. So anyways, then we went back to the hotel and got ready for the show. The show was great. The venue was amazing. Everyone was very professional in it. I had my in ears ready or we had rehearsal. Then I had rehearsal. I fell for the first time that I've done this one move because I land in a plank, a one handed plank and I fell so hard. I am so thankful I didn't knock my teeth out. I didn't hit my nose and break it. It was horri how hard I fell and just knocked the freaking wind out of me. I just rolled over and I was like, I quit. I. I like for real. I just, I didn't even know if I could get up. I was like in life at this point I feel so low and defeated and the wind literally just knocked out of me again. I was just like I need a few minutes and I just laid there for a few seconds. I was like, okay, so it's like this spin I do down and then I end. I land in one plank. And practicing it has been amazing. So practice was great every single time. I've never fallen doing this move and I just hit so hard and then I was fearful of it. And Enrique is like, well, let's just change the move. I'm like, I'm not changing the move. You know what, I am going to figure this move out because I rehearsed it My brain at this point is not going to change it, so I might as well just hit it hard. So we kept practicing it. Kept practicing it. I didn't fall in the show. Okay? That was the best part of the show. I didn't fall. The worst part of the show is my in ears went out.
B
Explain what in ears are.
A
You're not such a pop star.
B
You said it a few times and.
A
You haven't mentioned, but this I was.
B
Just about to say, okay, we're waiting.
A
The in ears play the songs and I hear my voice. So it's. Everything is in my in ears. They're also noise blockers, so you can't hear anything but that. So my in ears went out right after the first song and then I couldn't hear anything. I hear very, very faint music in the background and. And I don't know if anyone can hear me. I'm not sure what happened. I'm like, my mic pack is done. Like, is my mic on? Can people even hear me singing? What's happening? So I like, look at the mic. I'm like, okay, the lights on. I think I hear my voice in the crowd and then I'm just winging it. I don't know what part of the song I'm even at. I'm like, well, the show must go on. So this has never happened to me. And I take one in ear out. I'm like, okay, I can kind of hear like halfway and I'll just keep like rehearsing and going and I just gotta like get through this show. Then I take the other ear out and then I hear. And then the. The in ears are dropping and it looks like I have a tail and I'm dragging them everywhere and they're like getting all wrapped up like that.
B
That's not crazy.
A
And I'm looking for Billy, who does all the. The audio, and I see him there and I like go to flag him and he like runs away to the other side. I'm like, oh, my gosh. But I can't stop because my set is back to back songs for 22 minutes. There's no break in between or anything. It's like, song, song, song, song, song. So then finally I see him and I'm like, I go to Spencer. Finally go to Spencer. I'm like, where?
B
Well, tell them why I'm. What I'm having to do and the stress that I'm doing. You skip that part.
A
Okay, so Spencer is. Oh, thank you. I forgot that Spencer had to be the. The designated main photographer. For my show. So normally he gets great BTs, but there's no pressure. He's dealing with so much stuff, with everything with Palisades and just he has a million emails and texts all day. The last thing he needs to be doing is being a full time photographer for. For me at this point. So we had John, who always is at my shows and does all the photo shoots, had him booked on a flight. He waited on the plane for six hours. The flight was canceled. He couldn't make the layover. His next ticket was, like, thousands of dollars. We're like, all right. Spencer has his camera and his equipment, you know, so he had been shooting all day for me, like, all the. You did a great job, by the way.
B
Thank you. John said, I'm officially a professional, but.
A
The shows are crazy. You have to, like, tell us.
B
Oh, no. I'm like, in the freaking crowd. Which is the best crowd? Shout out. Vancouver Pride. All due respect to San Francisco, Seattle, England, L.A. vancouver crowd. I feel like, was the most phones up and the most screaming. And when you did the new song icon, the best response, you could have to, like, premiere a song. So back to what I was saying. I'm in the crowd because I got to get the. One of the crowd shots. I need to get the close shot. Changing lenses in the crowd. And then I'm going this. And then all of a sudden, Heidi's, like, singing and, like, pointing at me. And I'm like, oh, yeah, hi. I need, like, singing about me. And it's like, come over here. And I'm like, oh. And I'm just like, where's Billy? I'm like, I don't know where Billy is. I'm supposed to be taking your photos. Like, so it should be a drinking game how much I say, like, by the way, I got to work on that. So, yeah, she's like, get Billy. So Billy runs the takeaway. It's so funny. The sound person tried to blame me for all this because when they were doing the sound, the sound check rehearsal, I went by, like, the technology, and I was like, God protect all this equipment. So for all we know, because everything sounded great, I did stop like the devil trying to even mess it up more. And the angels could only guard so much of it. But then after she's like, you jinxed us. Maybe you put batteries in the pack. Idio. I can't pray on that.
A
No. It was really frustrating, the whole situation, because, yeah, I'm trying to think about so much stuff. I have my new song and I literally Couldn't hear. But they do say that, you know, that's just part of show business. So the takeaway for me from the show was it was great experience. It was another thing under my belt. It was successful. The crowd loved it. It was so stressful. Like, it really was really, really, really stressful. I had no idea. But I'm glad that I pushed through it and I put on the show and I gave it my best. And. And people like Spencer was saying to the new song Icon, I saw several people on each other's shoulders for it and the crowd was screaming. I mean, the song was received almost as big as I'll do it, which everyone loves, everyone sings, everybody knows. So it was a great experience. I was happy to have that done and felt really good about that. We went back to the hotel and we had.
B
Sorry. Back to Icon. The reason why it was received so well is because it's such an incredible showcase of your vocal ability and what people don't realize about you. When I met you, every freaking week, multiple times, I'd have to sit in Hancock park in the freaking car while you had the vocal lessons with the most famous vocal coach to this day in the world. So people act like, oh, like, first.
A
Off, he's on Cats or what's that show?
B
Yeah, he's on the Cat's Eye show as the vocal coach for them. But I mean, he does all. So when you were 20 years old, you were putting in the work. This isn't. So finally, it just took, you know, a few more years after where you get to showcase that. And you're also working with Kid Laroi's vocal producer for six hours at a time and every session. And so I think that's why people freaked out, because it showcased how talented you really are. And I think moving forward, even Enrique was saying, we need to lean more into these records that showcase your talent and your ability. Not just the fun, sweet, sexy, party girl stuff that I love as well. But, yeah, that's why I think Icon hit, like, dang. And since you had no in ears and you couldn't hear what's on, you were just like, boom. I don't even care. I'll sing with the holy spirit here.
A
Yeah, thank you. I appreciate that. And that is true. And I have worked very hard at that and all of that and all the rehearsals and, you know, I work really hard and I put everything into it. I love. Enrique said to Spencer, like, has Heidi been complaining about how hard we've been working? And it's like, Absolutely not. I will never complain about hard work. I'm a very hard worker. I've always been a hard worker. I love working hard and I love the payoff for it. So I'll keep giving it as, as much as I can. So thank you to everyone for the support. Again, icon does come out August 21st, so please make sure that you download it when it comes out. Stream it. I'm so excited. And Madison Love wrote it. Like, please tell me you didn't get plast surgery to pro. Oh, no, that's all God's time.
B
Bigger news is everyone can still buy tickets for August 15th.
A
Oh, yeah.
B
Big live performance. Lincoln. Heidi's bio link in Heidi's bio. So definitely be there. It's going to be unreal. We have three directors come in to shoot the first real big music video we've done.
A
It's an Amelia Evita party. So very excited for that.
B
And oh, my gosh, you know who came to your show. And respectfully, I didn't realize how famous she was, but it was. I just, you know, I check all my stories or I try to, and my DMs, and this woman posted like, oh, my God, I missed Heidi's show. And I wrote back, nah, you have, like, two hours. Like, oh, my God, I'm getting out of bed. And I just thought it was so funny. And it ends up she's a famous actress living in Vancouver.
A
Devin.
B
She's the star of Fire country. And she was, like, one of the main leads in Hunger Games. Devin. But instead of a D, it's a L. Oh, 11. So she came and took photos. And after Tomas and Ty and everyone, I didn't know she was famous, respectfully, until, like, do you know who that was? She's like, big deal. Best energy ever.
A
So sweet.
B
Got out of bed, came and. Yeah, really?
A
And did a post.
B
Yeah, like, multiple things. So that was cool.
A
So also Venus. I met Venus.
B
Famous.
A
Who is the famous? Yeah, she won RuPaul's Drag Race Canada.
B
That was supposedly RuPaul Loves Heidi's Heidi Wood album. One of RuPaul's best friends came up to us. RuPaul plays a lot of times, so somebody on RuPaul's team or production must be a professional hater that no Heidi music has hit Drag Race yet.
A
Yeah. Which is interesting.
B
Well, everyone got fired at MTV last week, so maybe the new staff won't be.
A
So the show is great. Yep. We made it, came home, and then Spencer went off to Washington.
B
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. The best thing that Happened in Vancouver, actually.
A
Two things I forgot.
B
What's two? There's one.
A
So then the next morning we. I had breakfast downstairs and Spencer came and joined me. And then obviously Spencer always wears this shirt. And we get in this elevator with an older gentleman and he doesn't even look at me. And he just looks at Spencer in the shirt. Obviously, she's real pretty and was like, you know that girl, she's been getting a lot of press lately. And her house burned down and the fires and kind of looking around like, am I like, not here, Drop Dead Fred? Like, she was actually resembling this. Like, what's happening? I'm kind of thinking, does she look a little like me? I don't know.
B
How does her look?
A
I'm like doing my dance move, you know, trying to scrub my hair.
B
Yeah, I'll do it.
A
Yeah, just do it. You know, like, nope. He didn't even actually kind of melt in the wall. Like, okay, I'm not gonna say anything. I'm gonna pretend I'm not here. He's obviously already ignoring me. I get into the room because I already canceled glam for that day. I'm like, whatever, you know, I'm tired. Glam is hair and makeup. So I had hair and makeup set for the next morning because we were going to do a photo shoot at the hotel. I'm like, ah, forget it. Whatever. We already got our content. So then I call Ty and Mylan were coming over to get their stuff. I'm like, emergency clam. Make me look like this. Put on the hair, put on the makeup. I need it for my ego and self confidence. Let's just go ahead and glam me up. So I got that emergency glam before they flew out. Felt really a lot better about myself. Kept walking around like this all day. Yeah. And then also Spencer, or did you text me? Somebody text me like, tate's downstairs. And I was like, ah, Spencer got a video. I totally want a video. I'm such a fan. I'm gonna go meet her. So I kind of walk by and.
B
Like, oh, you gotta say. You, like, queue up sports car.
A
Oh, yeah, I queued up sports car. I'm like, in the sport. You know, I'm thinking, all right, this part, I'll get her. And then I walk by and I'm like, she looks dog tired. Like, so tired with her grandpa, with her parents. I'm like, I walk out because Tyler and Tomas and Myan are out there. And I'm like, oh, I'll just go, like, pretend I'm checking on them because she knows Tomas and was just talking with him. And I walk back and I asked Toss. I'm like, should I take a Ask her for a video? I'm feeling like that's not the vibe. And he's like, no, it's not the vibe. She seems really tired. She literally just like put her head on me and said like, she needs to fall asleep. So I was like, well, I'll just say hi. He's like, definitely say hi. She knows I always talk about you. So I walk by. She. I don't think I had any idea who I was.
B
She definitely knew who I was. Just crazy, so.
A
And I was like, hi, you know, I was just with Tamash. She's like, oh, he's just telling me about your show last night and the in ears going out. She's like, oh, my gosh, I'm so glad that you made it through. And I said to her, thank you so much for being such a great role model. I'm so glad this next generation gets there. Brittany, like, you're incredible up there. The way you interact. And I'm like, not like you need to hear any of that from me. I'm sure your parents tell you everything, but I just wanted to, like, put it out there. And I was like, you met my husband yesterday. And she laughed. She's like, oh, my gosh, that's your husband? I was like, yeah, yeah, that's my husband. And it like kind of all clicked for her. Funny, funny.
B
So have a good day.
A
Anyway, she was super sweet and took a lot of time. And then I think that's all my. My stories from Vancouver. Your turn.
B
So then we land in Vancouver and since la. Yeah. Thank you. So then we land in LA and we don't have time. I couldn't fly direct to Washington D.C. so we stayed at a hotel. Heidi was gonna leave at like sunrise to be there before the kids wake up and I had to leave as well to catch the flight. Thankfully, Brandon from Georgia, who if you don't know the backstory from Brandon, Georgia. Now, five years ago, when I used to go on TikTok live all day long before we had the second kid. And I had a lot more time and I would just do anything on live. Brandon's girlfriend at the time now wife loved us on the hills and Brandon was a big gifter on Tick Tock, meaning he just throw people lions or universes, which was a lot of money. And she's like, throw Spencer a lion. He's like, who's this guy? And she said from the hills. He's like, the hills have eyes. And she's like, no, the hills. And he's like, I'm not throwing this guy anymore. He can come in my life. So that's the backstory. So then Brandon and Courtney became like, you know, big gifter my TikTok live. And then they ended up coming out to get married in Santa Barbara and we spent time. So now it's been like five years. And they always visit us, I would say once a month. They come to the Rosewood Miramar and get like an insane suite and just let us have a celebrity lifestyle through their incredible life. And, you know, we just experienced. So when he heard I was going to Washington, he's like, do you want me to come? You need backup? And I was like, actually, yes. Like, because my mom and dad think I'm going to get murdered. Like that one dude, Seth, that got shot up a bunch for having that, like, little memory drive or whatever. I don't know if that's true, but that's what my mom was worried about. So at least Brandon would be there to witness me getting shot because they probably use all the bullets on me. And so Brandon comes and he thankfully brought suits. Thankfully. Heidi told me to bring a suit, so I didn't put on a suit. So I was like, they don't need me to wear a suit. They know I'm Spencer in the Heidi outfit with the pink hat. And so they assign a body man, which I still don't really understand what a body man is. Shout out Sam, who is our body man. And he was a real deal movie character. So he. His job is to get you to meetings with like the cabinet meetings. And I guess probably. I don't even know. I truly don't know. Yes, I have chat GPT what a body man is, but I think it's. They give you your notes and they give you like. I don't know, it's like a really, like a bodyguard slash, like when people would come up and like, interrupt some of these meetings with some of these people I can't talk about, he would get up and be like, can you please not? And I'd be like, you want to take talk? You know, so I'm not used to ever having people. Certain people you actually can't be seen with because not everything's supposed to be out there. So Brandon's there with me. And then John, who I was, he missed the Vancouver flight, so he drove all the way from North Carolina to take some pictures of me. Because he's like, I need that money that Heidi was gonna. That you guys already, like, I already need that. So I was like, okay, come take photos of me. And he didn't bring any suit, he just brought pajamas. So thank God Brandon had clothes for John to wear. Otherwise, oh my gosh. It was. I was like, where? This is your outfit? He's like, I just brought my camera. Like, dude, we're going into these top monuments. Ends up Sam the body man said my meetings from 9 to 3 o' clock in D.C. he had never seen or heard of anyone that had more cabinet level meetings in one day than I did. So some of the meetings I can't talk about for. I don't know why, but. And I want to keep having these meetings, so I'm not going to mess it up. But the meetings I can talk about is. First I had a meeting, Bill Asali, excuse me if I said that right, he's the Federal Attorney General of California. Totally could have just made that up. That's what I think. And then the Deputy Attorney General of the United States, I had a meeting with them to discuss the fire aid scam. And that was a really good meeting because it showed me how. Right. Shout out Sue Pasco from circling the news, whose house also burned down, who did a lot of the research and has been helping make sure, you know, that everything I talk about is grounded in her journalism. It was very eye opening that this is not a conspiracy and the FBI is deep in this investigation and. And to the point where most of the stuff they couldn't even discuss with me to not affect future criminal charges. I don't. It's so real though. The fire aid thing, the victims, nobody got that money. The 100 million is very real. It's not like a TikTok thing. It's not misinformation. Doesn't matter what the LA Times said in their little fake piece where they're like, we reached out to 150 of them and it all is legit and they gave gift card. No, it's very real and it's going to be a real deal invest. The investigation's happening, so anything else I do maybe know, I couldn't say, but let's just say it was. That was like, boom. Okay. Because I thought they were gonna be like, yeah, you know what they're doing, they can do. No, there's a money laundering or just what, however you want to call it. I call it money laundering. Which is going to then connect to the homeless industrial complex that we had on the last episode that we talked to Sheriff Alex Villanueva about. So, really cool. Then I went from straight to that meeting to meet with the Attorney General of the United States, Pam, who is a freaking legend. And she right off the bat, said somebody in her life, I don't need to say who, but experience a fire and a total loss. And she was part of that process they went through. So she really was empathized with us victims and what that was. So right off the road, okay. And I had some questions that. About the Palisades investigation that Newsom hasn't disclosed on a state level. And I was hoping that I was going to get more information from a federal level. And, boy, did I get that information. And it's coming soon, but I already know it. And it just. I'm just so excited because now Newsom will probably not get to run for president, which obviously he shouldn't. Because if you can't stop 12 senior citizens from dying an entire town that gives you $700 million in one year, why would you ever be the guy in charge of an entire United States? You can't even handle your one state. So when that comes out, I think, you know, obviously, he'll keep podcasting and keep pretending he's running for president, but anyone with a brain will then be able to be like, oh, but this. So that's really exciting. Talked about a lot of other things I don't think I can talk about in that meeting. Then I went and met with the Secretary of Agriculture, Secretary Rollins, and she was a movie character. I said that to Variety in the Variety piece, and you couldn't. You know, all these people are like, you feel like you're in a movie because it's so surreal. And you only ever get in these rooms. Keep in mind, the amount of security to get into these buildings makes TSA TSA pre check anything global. There's. It takes 20 minutes. We went one way to the left accidentally, and all of a sudden we're surrounded by security. And when they're, like, taking all of our IDs and filling out a full incident report. And the guy, the security officer was like, so who are you here with? I'm like, pratt Daddy. Pratt Daddy. He's like, what's Pratt Daddy? I'm like, we sell beautiful crystals. He's like, prattdaddy.com John, the photographer is laughing so hard. So, yes, it's very serious business over there in Washington. So we go to meet with the Secretary of Agriculture because I want to figure out how we can make the state actually clear their brush on their property because that is why our town burned down. Because the state doesn't treat their. They know they do treat it. They don't clear it and they don't do prescribed burns. And treating is just like a made up word that the state of California uses so they can take federal money and then act like they did something. So great talk with her. She was just so wise and just the one takeaway, like I said to Variety, is everyone there does care about California and they want things to be good for California. It's you. You don't need to politicize it. I know. Like, I got hit by TMZ last night in the alley. Like, oh, what about Trump? And holding FEMA money for California and he doesn't care about him. I was like, I don't know about any of that, but all the people from his administration are very concerned about California. And that was the, like, the bigger takeaway that like pumped me up even more that I have all these resources with. So I got to talk to her because Trump is actually creating this new, like, mega wildfire, like, agency that even though Newsom's like, oh, he's taking money from the fire, it's like, actually, no, he's about to build up like the biggest fire thing. And thanks to Gabriel Mann, who shot the. Who was on our former recent podcast. You should also check that out if you haven't in his. He embedded with for six years with the Hot Shots and he gave me a name of the most famous hotshot fire chief that he said if I could get this name in front of the people that are standing up this new agency to be the new director, all the wildfire people will be like, oh, they're not playing around. He's the goat of firefighting. So I told them that name. They all wrote it down. They've already told me they're like vetting him. So in a perfect world, just if nothing came out of this going there and maybe being the person that got this guy's name, that's not like in the political, you know, he's just a famous real deal firefighter to be the head of that, that would be worth the trip. So then I go from there and I meet with the epa and what was shot shocking was that the EPA was always getting blamed. We weren't able to access our lot after the fires. And like the city, everyone was like, oh, EPA first phase. You can't go on your property. Like, you couldn't check your debris for anything. And da da. They told me they had nothing to do with that. It was LA county stopping everyone from being on their lots. Even though Trump at Tower at the station 69 said everybody should be able to go on their lots. If they want to risk whatever, that's their choice. It's their land, you know, and have that thing. And then they made it look like the EPA stopped everyone. So they told me absolutely false. I was LA county. So it was kind of like oh, game on. Now they have me to cut through all the lies. The city and the LA county, all the people involved in the town actually burning down with their misinformation to the victims. So that is unfortunate for them in the future because now I got the plugs ready for this. The EPA has not seen one soil test. LA county hasn't shown the EPA one any. You know, realistically we're going to do our own soil test in the next couple weeks. Get our own independent soil person here. Because after hearing that I don't trust anything these LA County, LA city people. So I'm convinced the whole town has toxic soil. And then I find out that Maui, they dug a foot and got rid of a foot of toxic soil. Guess what LA county decided was enough? Six inches. You're telling me in Pacific Palaces where every single person had an electric vehicle, their entire roof was solar panels. Not to mention you know, all the cleaning chemicals of every one of these houses versus us Maui. I promise you the Palisades was more toxic than Maui. So we're gonna look in and I'm also gonna talk to any of my friends and neighbors that want to have their own independent testing because I bet you the soil is toxic and they're lying and that's gonna be like a big one coming soon. So.
A
And that means it's not safe to rebuild over your toxic toxic soil. And that's a really big deal. So that's something Everybody absolutely needs.
B
100.
A
That's not something that you can just fabricate or.
B
Yeah. How many lots did they test the soil for? Because there's 10, like 7,000 houses burned down. They went to 7,000 lots and got a soil sample? I, I bet not. I went, I bet they went to the cleanest looking least fire damaged house and dug that dirt up based off of how bad they are doing everything to prevent a town from burning down. I would anticipate they're even worse when they have to have accountability. And if all the soil is toxic and they have to then spend money to deal with it you know, they don't want to spend any money because they're busy laundering it through homeless industrial scams. Okay, so then I went from that meeting to a meeting I can't talk about. Another very. Keep in mind, at night, you also have meetings that you can't talk about. You know, it's the good news is all the meetings I can't talk about, these people are going to be providing me with all the resources I need to expose all the corruption, all the negligence, all the potential criminal negligence, all the things that everybody just, like, moved on. Okay, fastest rebuild. Lots cleared.
A
Done.
B
Palace is burned down. Oh, we're going to build, like. Nope, it's just starting. Please tell me you didn't get Plastic Surfer to pull up the app.
A
Oh, no, that's all glass. This episode is brought to you by JCPenney. Yes, JCPenney. And if you've been there recently, you know it's the place to go for jaw dropping looks at brag worthy prices. They've got something special for every style and budget. Not to mention rewards and deals that make finding those hidden gems even sweeter. If you already shop JCPenney pen, you're already in on the secret. But if not, it's time to ask. Wait, am I sleeping on JCPenney? Shop jcpenney.com. yes, JCPenney.
B
That was.
A
There needs to be accountability for what happened, and people deserve that accountability. This is our lives. This is not just a headline. Like. No, it's just lock it up so hard. I know.
B
Don't show them the tears. They worked hard on your makeup today and you had to pay for it because we don't have any sponsors yet.
A
Right. So for. For everyone else, they've moved on. But, like, it takes a lifetime to build your house and your things, and having it just be gone is. It's continually challenging, you know?
B
And besides my own wife crying and my mom crying all day long.
A
I don't cry all day long.
B
I said my mom crying all day long. But you're crying inside.
A
Well, not all the time.
B
Okay. A lot of the times you're. You're a very in tune with your, like, it's not a negative. I'm not, like, saying it's a bad thing.
A
Yeah, I probably cry twice a week.
B
Okay, maybe I'll keep a journal back to my. What I was saying anytime I was, like, getting emotionally drained and like, you know, I'm so passionate and it's taking so many, like, the messages I'm getting now that the entire community, the Palisades have found a way to reach me and they're passing my number to people that are in their 70s, 80s, 20s, 30. Everyone is texting me, get them, do not stop. Thank you. And it's like, ah. Like I get so pumped up that I have to breathe and comment. The adrenaline spike is so insane. And I, like, I'll start, like, almost start crying because some of the messages people write me are just so literally depressing and horrible that like, I have to channel it and take that as like Popeye spinach. Like, I am gonna. I there. There will be hell to pay for these people, like, where we aren't the ones who are gonna live the hell to pay. So thank God for everyone's strength and to coming to me with their message that I. I'm channeling. So, yeah, I keep telling people I am their worst nightmare. I'm not. Okay, so back to that. So I got a call from my childhood best friend Brian, and he's like, yeah, I just had to hang up twice on this other friend we grew up with. He's not a friend to me. I knew he's a straight pos, but he's part of my group of friends that I grew up with. And I'm well aware of clear mental illness he is suffering from because he told Brian, I cannot believe Spencer's using the fires to get famous. And Brian said already, before I could say anything, Spencer's already been more famous than you can get in this day and age. Like we've talked about in other podcasts, when we were actually famous in 2008, 2009 with Heidi, and we talk about the monoculture. You can't do that again. Everyone is fragmented. Everyone has what they like, their podcasts, their TikToks, their YouTube channel. I could do anything in the world right now and I'll never be to the peak famous that we were when the entire fame machine of 2007-2008-2009-2010 was pushing us. Whether it was likable fame or not, infamy, whatever it was, I'll never be that to say even to anyone on earth that I would rather be in the situation I'm in to get views or clicks or likes off of my parents house, burning down our house. I would much rather trade all this, Heidi's music success that we had after house to have our house back. My parents have their house back. Feeding hummingbirds, just getting money off of my Snapchat to enough to have a nice life. Going down the street to Angelini, getting Italian food Our lives were perfect. Perfect, period. We put our money to have a beautiful house that we could pass on to our sons. That would have been worth enough that any bad mistakes that we did make with spending money in our younger years, it would have made up for what this house would have been. As they were building mega mansions all around us, that one was going to be 40 million because they were tearing down all the affordable houses or people that lived there and they were building the $40 million houses. So this idea that I am doing this for anything out of pure revenge, anger, justice, justice, fame is not what I am doing. Anything I am doing on social media. And honestly, this makes me zero money. Let's be clear. I would be way better off making tiktoks all day. Showing my crystals on prattdaddy.com if you do want me to get money, this is your chance to buy them. Showing my crystals that we still sell. Telling people to stream Heidi's music, which also a stream makes us.00001. So let's also be clear on the state of the music business. So there is nothing so far in one of these crazy viral videos that has made me a dollar.
A
And we paid for your trip to Washington. We paid for the hotel. We're paying for everything. We're paying for the flight. So that's out of our pocket to try to help the community in any type of way and to help rebuild our lives and other people's lives and to have that accountability and to have those people. Yeah. So.
B
And you know how that backfired? How Heidi said since I've met her, even in very dark times, she'll always tell me God uses everything for good. So I was so pumped up and my initial gut was to call this person and say how I felt. But instead I wrote a nice little how my feelings in a paragraph and decided I was just gonna block this person so they don't have to see my content for the victims on behalf of them. And I wrote a little paragraph and I think now I'm pretty sure it's my most liked post I've ever done on social media. The last time I looked, I think it was 120,000 likes. Brody shout out. Brody Jenner, the Prince of Malibu. He commented and wrote because he knows who I'm talking about. And he wrote like your real friends or back whatever his comment was. The last I looked, that was at 10,000 likes on a comment and the video did like, I want to say, almost 3 million views. So he actually it backfired because it helped spread the message more. And then right after I got that post, one of the more powerful people, definitely in California, up there in America, got my number and texted me and said, I would like to meet for coffee or dinner. Your messaging is so powerful. I'm misquoting, obviously, but in that zing. So not only did I take that evil demons hate, turn it into positive and light, but, you know, so there you go. F that person times a thousand.
A
Oh, and this is like the 10th time this person has done.
B
It's just. It's just a jealous. It's a crazy person.
A
Yeah.
B
Anyways, okay, so there's Washington and my birthday's coming up. Yes.
A
Happy birthday.
B
I know I'm turning 32, which is in my heart and spirit. I actually feel the youngest I've ever felt in the last, like, two weeks. And like Heidi said the other day to somebody, they're like, how's Spencer doing? Like, with everything? And she had such a great point. And I felt that she's like, thank God Spencer has found some way to change. Channel the hurt and the pain and the anger into something productive. And now I have, like, a real life's purpose and a great takeaway from Secretary Rollins that, like, calmed me a little bit down. She's like, this fight you're on, Spencer isn't. It's a 10, 20, 30 year fight. And I was like, oh, okay, let me, let me breathe. You know, it's a marathon, not a sprint. So I did slow down my output of content because I just really want to post with, like, bangers with facts and just real drops and not just. I don't want to come off trolling or spammy, even though I love doing that and it feels good. I want to keep my messaging so strong about what really occurred and what is going to occur if these people that have just moved on. Like, right now, as we drove here, people are texting me. Fire just started in Ventura county on state land. The same thing that happened here in the Palisades. And they learned nothing. Like, so it's just gonna. And they're just gonna keep saying, oh, it's climate change, it's this.
A
And it's not that they didn't learn, it's that they don't care. And when you don't have people who care because it doesn't affect their lives, that's a. A big problem. Your job is to care about the people of California, the people of la, the people of Santa Barbara. That's your job. That's what you're elected for. And when people just don't care, that's exactly what happens. And it's going to keep happening and it's preventable. And so I just thought these wildfires were like, apocalyptic. Apocalyptic and inevitable, but that's not true. When we had Gabriel on, he made it very clear that it is preventable, that there are things to do. And that's the infuriating part, that they know this and that they're not taking that course of action. We need to be protected by the wildfires in every single state. They're also in Colorado.
B
Well, other states do. Do prescribers, like.
A
Right. But they're gonna keep happening, and we need protection from our states and from our government and from everybody to have that.
B
So I argued with this. I didn't argue with this troll, but they. They came at me on X and they said, oh, now all of a sudden you care because it affected you and your house burned out. And I thought, you know what? Yeah, that's exactly why. Because you know the difference. I would be. Heidi would be. We would be actual rich people. Like people talk about, if all of our money didn't go to state California taxes, our business taxes in California, we would be rich. But we're not, because we paid all that. So my job, for me, I thought, okay, I'm paying, so I'm going to have these protections. My house isn't going to burn down. My town's not going to burn down. $700 million from Palisades went to the state to make sure it didn't burn down. And I was naive, and it took this for me to activate. So they're right and they're wrong because I wasn't. My job was to just be a good American citizen, pay my taxes. And you know, at the end of the day, what they're like, whoa, then you shouldn't put these people in office. I don't care if you're Republican, independent, Democrat. At the end of the day, towns shouldn't burn down if you pay your taxes. So that's not a political thing that I'm actually passionate about making sure water is in reservoirs. So that's like this thing. Like, I didn't need to do that before because I thought whether you were a Republican or a Democrat, if you pay taxes, the water reservoir next door to your house have water in it. So back to. I need some water.
A
So your birthday?
B
My birthday.
A
Happy birthday. 32. Yeah.
B
Somebody was like, you should get that thing checked in your neck. I'm like, it's a vein. Okay.
A
It's always been there. So anyways.
B
Oh, back to. Yeah, let's calm it down.
A
Okay.
B
Yeah.
A
So it's gonna be a great year. You have so much coming up. You're healthy, you have two beautiful.
B
I'm gonna get healthier. I'm gonna have not been able to work out now in months because of the staph infection. Because if you sweat, you spread the staph. But that's why. So anyone body shaming me, There's a vision for my future. I'll be healthy. Well, now my goals have been more realistic. That was Rawlins, Secretary Rollins. She, like, made me kind of come to Jesus moment. Like, this is gonna take time to take down mafiosos.
A
Good. Take off the pressure.
B
Yeah. You know, it's not gonna happen. It's about little by little. I don't know. I'm really. Thank God our sons are healthy. And I just. Every time you sent when I was gone and you're sending me photos of them just being the best brothers together on dog walks, I was like, this is all I need to ever put my real focus in is our current reality that we have two healthy sons that are happy and we've been able to create a new world for them where they haven't, you know, the trauma isn't affecting their. Their existence. So I just need to, like, just stay on track of that. I need to just keep focusing on all the great things with your music and. Yeah, no, I'm pretty excited. There may be a really big announcement with me and the government in the next couple weeks. It's hard to actually for me to believe it's true, but it seems very true. And if that happens, it's kind of like, besides always wanting to be famous, my life, my other version of my identity, this was what I always imagined as a growing up. There was like, I was either going to do this or I was going to do this. And then I ended up in the fame. But now, if I can pivot and God wants me actually on track to do this in the government, it'll really be like, wow, I did it. I learned so much in my other life to then have this new life. So I think I'll know if it's for real. August 11th. So keep staying tuned to the podcast. Obviously, I'll be breaking the news here.
A
