If you read my book, the guy you love to hate for it or now please, please, please, please. In it it's very clear how important US Weekly was to my journey. And in summer school sneak peek when I was 16 and call me Q and Malibu, I told everybody I was going to be on the COVID of US Weekly. There's witnesses at this summer School that remember me telling everybody. So it only took 30 years.

Well, for a solo you've been on graced on many years.

I never imagined being married and being on it with, you know, a wife.

And we are headed to New York. We are going on a press tour. I'm going with Spencer, which has been a really challenging decision because I feel like I want to be with my kids and to be able to be there and hold it down. But also this is my turn to be really supportive of you and everything that you have going on and to just be there to champion you. And in addition to that, I can also do visuals.

[Spencer Pratt]

I'm also going to shoot five music videos.

[Heidi Montag]

I figured I'm like, if I'm going, I should also make the most of it. If I'm having hair, makeup, glam, I should do visualizers for my new album coming out.

[Spencer Pratt]

Well, that is amazing. In our parental life, our children have, I don't know if they got. They're eating a lot of meat, they're getting more testosterone or hormones or our three year old now is. Thinks he's 17. But we are at a new tier of parenting.

[Heidi Montag]

Yes.

[Spencer Pratt]

That is truly testing every bit of my existence. Because it's dangerous. They're. When they're physical, you know you can't just like ignore them because one can hit their head into a wall or cement.

[Heidi Montag]

Just like they're having fun and thinking that they're wrestling and being sweet. But we see all the dangers and parameters of it. Like, well, he's gonna hit his head and that's too hard. So it's challenge. And all these parenting books that I'm listening to, which is about 5, says that you want them to be able to play and to not interject as much as possible, but also you want to keep them safe and especially the little one. And when you see it escalating. So it's really challenging trying to encourage their relationship and be positive and just like stuff happens and then it ends in crying and you're just like waiting for the cry. It's really hard. I am definitely being tested on my limit and the meltdowns when they're both having meltdowns at the same time. I don't think I anticipated our older one still being more challenging at this age.

[Spencer Pratt]

I said this to Mike GTV I'm like, man, parenting. Sorry. He's like, bro, it's so easy right now. You don't even know what you have coming because his boys are older. So, you know, I guess we should just be appreciative how we have it. But the best part about all this, Heidi had a therapy call to, like, how to, like, a parenting therapy call. Like, manage, you know, this is an expert. And the advice I was hearing on speaker, I was laughing so hard because I was imagining. Not just imagining. And then I later would say what the therapist told Heidi to say when they're, like, acting on, like, having tantrums, whatever, Talking in a convoy. Smell. Is your arm okay?

[Heidi Montag]

Like, just the least amount of words she said. So, like, when they're wrestling and when someone's about to get hurt, you just say, like, arm. And it's like, they don't hear that. They're not listening. It's literally not going over. And then were in the store, and they were both having a meltdown about holding the ice cream box, and I was just like, oh, my gosh. Trying to, like, do what she said. And I was about to, like, anyways, it wasn't working, so gonna have to figure that out. It's so easy to, like, say this, and then you. And then when you step back and to dissect it, and you're like, oh, I could have done this and that. It's like, well, you know what? I didn't. And that I did the best that I could, and it was so hard. And you're just like, it's. It's really a lot harder being a parent than I anticipated.

[Spencer Pratt]

So shout out to parents especially. We saw this mother the other night that had three kids, and I said, good for you. And she's like, what? It's like, just add it to the tab. She's like, after one kid, it's all the same. I'm like, I don't agree.

[Heidi Montag]

After two, she said she started.

[Spencer Pratt]

She went back to one after one, and, you know, regardless. So there's people that I complained to that have four kids, and I'm just like, I am a weak person. But kids are kids, so shout out to all the parents.

[Heidi Montag]

Yeah. So I was talking to Ty and my about New York, and I was like, I don't know if I can go. And Myelin was like, kids will be kids. And I was like, you know what?

[Spencer Pratt]

Can't wait to say that to you when you have kids.

[Heidi Montag]

But you're right too, in a sense. Like, my priority is Being able to go there for Spencer and support him and he's going on like all these talk shows and he has a huge book signing and I want to be there to like champion you. And, you know, that's the essence of why I would go. I obviously wouldn't go. Just could do visualizers here.

[Spencer Pratt]

But yes, a lot of exciting, big TV appearances. I. I just found out I was supposed to keep them a secret.

[Heidi Montag]

Three days of them. You have three days of different.

[Spencer Pratt]

So such a blessing. I just had to combat some people out there that were saying that my book is I'm profiteering off of the fires. Which was one of the funnier things because I truly did the math and I feel like I'd have to sell for like my cut of the book. I'm gonna throw this number, like 20 million copies of a book. It's gonna have to be like Lord of the Rings to buy back what we had, that we lost here, what my parents lost. So the idea that, you know, that somebody would. A despicable person out there would even imply that I was profiteering off of this, it's just, it's. It's kind of sicko with how people think. But it's okay. I'll pray for them.

[Heidi Montag]

Also. You are a very well known, famous, established person for so long now, decades. This book was inevitable. They came to you and it was after you had my music go number one. And so the marketing that they saw in that aspect and that story behind you is what they wanted. They didn't want a. A story about a fire. That's not what your book is about. So if they wanted a story about the Palisades fire, they would have that other person who had a story just about the Palisades fire.

[Spencer Pratt]

Speaking of that person, his name is Jacob Sobroff and he wrote on a legit propaganda lying scam book. Just totally like a newsome gas up. Newsome for sound bites to the point where Newsom did interviews with him. Just he's like, oh, Remember on page 79 where you said this about me?

Also my voice still hurts. I still have.

We know why she got blood work. She's got her hormones are all jacked up. So we're going to get some peptide shots in Heidi, bring the inflammation down.

I watched that new Elvis Presley movie Priscilla on Netflix it was very interesting. At first I felt a little weird watching it because she was so young. But then I kind of took myself out of the age perspective and I was like, you know what, I'm just gonna see this true story of like what really happened. So it was super interesting from her perspective.

[Spencer Pratt]

They don't hook up till she's older.

[Heidi Montag]

Yeah, until she's a little bit older.

And so she's an adult I don't know about.

Anyways, it was really interesting.

Seeing Hollywood. Hollywood and kind of that. So I watched that and I watched Wicked 2. I thought that was incredible. People are like, I didn't really like Wicked 2, I like Wicked 1 more. But I'm like, they're both really good.

To me, Ariana Grande is the best actress.

[Heidi Montag]

She is so good. I love the whole thing and I read the books and I've been to the Broadway, so I love that.

[Spencer Pratt]

Speaking of fame, my favorite news story I've seen come out. You never know what's real or not. I told Heidi and she was like, that's absolutely true. But you know, it could have been a made up story. That probably is true. But allegedly Scooter Braun is very upset and feels disrespected by the amount of professional athletes sliding into Sydney Sweeney's DMs trying to hook up. And I found that very funny because what does he expect, you know?

[Heidi Montag]

Yeah, I would think that'd absolutely be true.

[Spencer Pratt]

And I got bad news for him because the new season of Euphoria trailer just dropped and Sydney Sweeney plays an or. Her character is going to be an onlyfans person. So I have a feeling those DMs, Mr. Scooter Braun are going to increase.

[Heidi Montag]

She's still in Euphoria.

Well, they were on a hiatus.

Wow, good for her.

Thank God for that. Those producers, I bet their contracts were so locked up that because Zendaya has like 140 million followers, she's the star of Dune. Like she couldn't be more famous.

She's the lead. So they have that level and Sydney suite. So I think their contracts before they blew up, they were just guaranteed this season three.

And they're like, hahaha, we got you. And they probably have to pay that, you know, basic price or whatever.

So speaking of tv, we're in talks with several things and hopefully we have some eggs hatching in the TV world. We'll see where that lays.

Breaking news, our Hulu Deal has run up, so we are available. Still love you, Hulu, if you want to, you know, get back to the table. But, you know, if not, shout out to the Naders. Glad they have their docu series. Can't wait to watch that. When I have more time on my list of things to watch. Is gonna watch Traitors because lots of drama with that actor from New York. I've seen a lot of drama with Michael Rappaport on Traders. A lot of people are not liking him on it and not how they didn't like Tom Sandoval. They just feel like this guy's just like ruining the show. Which sometimes that's good to be talked about, but sometimes it just turns people off of the show. So I definitely want to tune in because I would love to one day be on that show. So I gotta see what not to do.

You'd be so good at that.

My movie with James Franco is Locked. I'm filming in the end of March. Got the script. I am co starring with him. We are the leads. So that's really exciting. A little edgy. My role, you know, I may or not just be like throwing bodies in a river in like the opening 10.

It is acting.

Heidi said this morning, yeah, Last night, last night she. I was telling her because the kids were like rolling around with like four boxes of cookies and that Skittles coming out of their pockets.

That is such an exaggeration.

They can't be eating this sugar. And I looked her, I said, they can't be able to reach.

No, you said, well, I have no mercy for you because I've told you.

So many times, do not buy any.

No, put it where they can just walk up and grab it. Like it's like a buffet of sugar.

They weren't even eating that regardless.

And then I said that to Tya Mai today and Maya's like, pretty accurate.

No, I'm just, you know, I have mercy. I have empathy, my soul somewhere. Okay, so that's going on. Heidi's album is six weeks out. If you thought Heidi Wood was good, which I think it is truly a masterpiece. I. This new album goes to a next tier because this album has more vocal, like a famous shout out. Sean, he's Kid Laroi's vocal producer. So just having additional. Getting Heidi's best performance out of these records.

Just I think the Biggest difference with this album is Heidi Wood was more hyper pop and this is a little bit more mainstream pop too. The writers are different and there are some similar writers, but it's definitely not a hyper pop album. It is more of a mainstream. So it's kind of the in between. Bridge of Superficial, my first album, and Heidi Wood. So I'm excited to have a new and similar sound, but definitely a different vibe.

I would say 70% of the new album is written and produced in Sweden. So if you're down with like OG Britney Spears, OG Max Martin, Swedish pop music, this is it. So it. It is an actual masterpiece, this album. Like, I'm putting that out there. I once said Superficial was better than Thriller and I stand by my words. And this new album is an actual masterpiece. So it's really exciting. It's now been over a year almost.

I have my final eye appointment. My follow up eyes, if you can tell, they're doing great. So freaking glad I got that surgery done when I did. So I had the perfect amount of recovery time and that was my plan. They're still swollen and. But anyways, I'm so glad to have that done. And I actually have something in my eye right now. I don't know.

But what I need is my voice. I have to get my voice together. This bird is, like, right here. I have to get my voice under control.

Well, my neck, because I see when I perform and sometimes when I talk, this skin starts folding up a little bit. And so I asked my. I asked Dr. Wu, who was doing my Daxify Botox yesterday, to be clear.

She'S not a surgeon. So.

So she. I said, can you fix this part? And she goes, nope, that's a surgeon. So anyways, she said she would guess it'd be a quick recovery, but she doesn't know. So, yeah, maybe that will be my next Christmas present next year. Get that done with my recovery time. But I have to get my voice together because it hurts so bad every single time.

So I tried to go in the studio yesterday to record something, and I couldn't. It was so painful. It's. It's painful to talk. It hurts every single time I talk. So I think I have to get scoped again, but I had my eye appointment on the same day, had my throat appointment, and then they canceled my eye appointment. And I don't want to go down next week back to back for two different doctor things.

So you know a lot. I. Yep. If you are here to hear certain things, there's all sorts of city laws that make it so I can't talk about so many things that you're probably like, why isn't he talking about this? That's why. The city of Los Angeles has requirements if you are part of a certain process where you can't talk about it on your podcast.

I don't understand that because you can do interviews, so why can't you? You know, it doesn't make sense.

This is like the first time.

It feels targeted.

It's experience. We need to find a loophole. We're going to work on that. Maybe we'll get an additional team member that. We'll figure it out. But right now. So if you're like, why isn't he bringing up something? We are being silenced.
