Halloween, we went trick or treating in a new community for the first time since we've had children. And it was.

I mean, I don't understand how many more trees they can cut. Honestly, I think they're doing it on purpose now. I offered to buy them lunch if they left and they said no. I should have said where.

It was tricky with. With trick or treating because we were used to the Palisades where every house would go all out. Actually, half of LA would come here to trick or treat. It was very festive and this was very spread out and you didn't really get that. You had to walk few and far between to find a house to trick or treat at.

And the other part about the 805 area is like a big thing, is everyone trick or treats at the businesses, which that's like, I guess, fun for the business community and, you know, like, shout out. Richie the barber, you know, he dressed up and he had like a DJ thing and. But it's just not like you walk up to the house and the decorations. So. But everyone was like, oh, you gotta hit up this street and this street, which is all business streets. I'm like.

But also it was nice not having the chaos of it. It was more of like a really small town feel, probably how The Palisades was 15 years ago. So it was nice to have it be calmer instead of hundreds of kids, like, rushing by you and kind of losing track of things. And kids, I mean, it was really hectic. So it actually made me appreciate having a calmer Halloween. Also, we don't even let our kids really eat the Trick or Treat candy.

I'm like, how am I telling these waiters that they should do this? And I'm not doing it. And so I was trying to get Gunner, our son, back into jiu jitsu, and I was signing him up. I'm like, I can't have him going and then expect him to like it if I'm not in it. So I went and I showed him a video of me doing it, and he's like, when are we going? I can do better than that. I was like, yes. And I'm also very tired of him asking me how long ago it was when I had muscles. So I don't want that to be a thing with Riker when he grows up. I don't want him to ever. I want him to have to argue with Gunner and be like, what do you mean? Dad didn't used to have muscles. So I'm gonna. I've been working out every day. I still haven't locked into my diet because, I mean, I don't eat like sugar, but I'm still probably eating too many meals. You know, people like, really, if you want to have abs, you really can't eat.

The best thing to be connected with. So Heidi's been getting texts from Ashley Dupree, who she starred on a reality show in 2010 called Famous Food with the guy from Sopranos. Ashley Dupree, Danielle Staub, Juicy J. Juicy J and other 365 mafia guy. And those clips of Heidi and now Ashley Earle, who is Alex Earl's stepmom, are going viral. And they're great clips because people are trying to kind of talk. Daniel Saab was saying not so nice things about Ashley Dupree at the time. And Heidi, of course, her angel self was very supportive of whatever career choice at that time Ashley had and didn't judge her.

Yeah. And standing strong in that and coming clean. And I just thought it was incredible that she was so strong and empowered by herself and that and her story. And I love her. She is one of the sweet, sweetest, funniest. If she lived in la, she, hands down, would be my best friend. Like, especially back then when I didn't really have anyone to hang out with. But anyways, she's coming into town to support Alex on Dancing with the Stars for Thanksgiving. And so her and I are going to try to meet up and have some drinks. And she is very supportive of you as well.

So tomorrow, Senator Rick Scott and Senator Johnson and a secret congressman. I think by this time I'll air. But I think Congressman Jim Jordan, who is helping with the fire aid investigation, is also coming. But in the Palisades tomorrow, we're having A field hearing. And the senators are going to hear from senior citizens, fire victims in the Palisades, what January 7th was like, what post fire is going. And I'm going to do a tour in the morning with them and showing how there is no rebuilding. I know people who are positive. I love positive people, too. And, you know, like to put positive energy out there. Good for you. But the reality is out of 7,000 homes, maybe 600 people are in the works of rebuilding. And that counts people who are already building houses, like the people up there are counted, but they were building before January 7th. So we're going to show the lack of rebuilding. We're going to talk about the fact that Karen Bass went on the news, she promised to waive all these fees for building. And then in her defense, she said she was doing an executive order, which is just a con because her executive order doesn't mean anything. You need the full city council to approve those fee waves waivers, which they haven't. So people right now have signed these things that pretty much say that maybe.

They'Ll waive the fees. But we know how this city operates. I have a feeling nothing is getting waived. And that's just for people that are building 110% back. God forbid you had to dig out your toxic soil and now your new plans add 6ft because you had to go higher. Now you, no matter what, that's not even in the air. You can't rebuild and get those fees cleared, even if they do clear fees. So that's one thing I'm going to address also, since we last talked about almost five weeks ago now, four weeks for sure, I reached out to the LA Times and I told them I had a whistleblower that told me that on January 2, when the fires on from December 31 with the arson suspect that Newsom and Bass try to blame for the Palisades fire, where that fire, the lockman fire, on January 1st, started on New Year's Eve around 11:30 at night. So when that was put out, I had a whistleblower call me or reach out to me and tell me I told the battalion chief not to pick up the hoses, that it was still smoldering everywhere on the Skull Rock area on Lockman. And this battalion chief ignored him and said, pull the hose. And I told the LA Times this and they didn't run it. So hopefully they just took my information, which at the end of the day I'm fine with, and found text messages between firefighters talking about that same incident that weren't My whistleblower, and they ran a big piece. So now Mayor Bass has said, oh, I didn't know about this Lockman fire, which is a lie, because I know for a fact she knew about the Lockman fire. Everyone did.

And so they're going to investigate that rekindle, which we have known. The Palisades fire was always a rekindle from the January 1st fire. So you got to think about the state of California. They're the Newsom. They are the landowners. It's their property where Lockman was. So in their own state manual, it is their legal job to make sure a dangerous condition doesn't exist that would then burn down a community, burn 12 people alive. So they had from January 1st to January 7th, knowing there was an extreme wind event coming. They're tweeting about it. They're posting about it. We're getting alerts on the phones. So they know there's an extreme wind event. They know there was a fire in their state property. If they listened to the firefighters that. Now that I know four firefighters that have now gone on record and said they've told the top, top level of the fire department that this was a dangerous place to leave unattended with no hoses. So it's the state's legal obligation to put their state park rangers or state park employees, whatever you will call them, parked on that burn scar to make sure it wasn't smoldering, to do thermal imaging, which to make sure it's. There's not heat. They didn't do any of this. So when the wind hits. Oh, shocker. The smoldering freaking fire from six days early reignites and burns 12 people alive, burns 7,000 structures. So when people try to say, oh, it's done, there was an arsonist. The Palisade's fire was not because of Winderschnicker or whatever his name is. He burned eight acres on New Year's Eve. He called 911 like, nine times five from the initial ignition. They have it, like, on there. Like, they have some type of satellite or something that shows when it went off. And in that moment, he was calling 91 1. So whether he was mentally ill and decided to, like, he didn't want to do it. And he called nine one. Or it was an accident. He dropped his joint, his lighter, his cigarette. Maybe he was doing a sparkler on New Year's Eve. Whatever. That guy did not burn the Palisades down. That guy burned 8 acres on January 1st. So I was all excited because I had my whistleblower all set to talk to NBC Nightly News with like a voice change or whatever, but he backed out, which I understand because he was like, I'm not going to lose my career of 20 years because they are not allowed to talk, which is a cover up. If these guys are all saying that they this is what happened and they can't tell the media, they can't tell the public what actually happened, that's a cover up. So last night I got a call, shout out Freddie Escobar, who is the technically, right now, he's under a little situation, but he's the president of the LAFD firefighters union. He said a firefighter called him last night and said that, that the firefighter, three days after the January 1st fire, he called the battalion chief and said, I don't feel comfortable that we pulled the hoses from the Lockman site leading up to the wind event and they ignored them. So that's four firefighters that were not okay with that situation. So that's how obvious the smoldering was. And so again, I don't even care about the LAFD because it's not their legal state property. This is Newsom's property. So it's so obviously smoldering that four firefighters are calling like, hey, something should be done about this. And you know why I know the fire department didn't do anything? Because I understand now how all this city and politics works. They were like, oh, that's not our property. That's Newsom and the state's responsibility. So if they want us to come sit on there, they need to call us. Because right now it's on their legal obligation to be monitoring it, to make sure it doesn't rekindle. The exact quote in the manual for the state parks is make sure it doesn't create a dangerous condition to the community. And there's also legal precedent, the Vetter case that literally the state has lost in the past in California, where if they create a situation that harms or injures surrounding people, they're liable. So I'm sure that's why the LAFD battalion chiefs are like, that's not on us. We put the fire out. Monitoring it is the state property owners, Newsom. So that's happening. That's going on. So hopefully while we're podcasting, that firefighter is going to agree to do a voice changer and a shadow and talk to NBC Nightly News because they want to do this piece exposing that. So we got that going on.

That's a really hard place to be At. For a lot of these firefighters who are in that job to help the community to do good, that is the essence of what I think of a firefighter. I think of someone who is there to help, to be reliable, you know, and then to be conflicted where you're feeling like you're not able to do it, but you don't have the resources to do it, and you have to follow a certain command. Like, that's a. And then on your soul and your spirit and how heavy and weighing that must feel now, too, that's a really challenging position for a lot of them to be in.

D (21:24)

So the first guy, the first firefighter that reached out to me said it was weighing on his soul so much that he had to reach out and, like, get the truth out. But the part that he says makes him like, okay with it is he's like, it's a military command structure. He's like, I did what I. There's a chain of command. I'm not the chief, right. I can't do. Once I say, this is it, this is it. And then he says he even feels it more because now he's reading my comments section and people will be like, oh, yeah, well, that's no different than the Nazis. People say, like, you, oh, that's a chain of command. You knew better. You let this. Just because there's a commit. So he's even reading the people. So they're reading what everyone's saying. And.

Again, until we get all their truths, I'm. I'm just like, I'll hear everything. And I. I meet, I talk to a lot of firefighters that the main takeaway is that the command structure is trash and it's not what it used to be. They're understaffed, they're under budget. So there's all these things that connect. And, you know, that's why Crowley, Chief Crowley, who, you know is on my shirt. I'm not like a Chief Crowley fan, but she was the first person why she got demoted right away. Say, like, you cut our budget. And the current LAFD is designed, like for 19, I think, 60s level amount of fire stations. It's not 20, 25. I think they have, like, there are under a hundred. Like, they need a hundred more stations just for, like, just without wildfires and that. And the other thing clear from the LAFD action after action report is all the command staff has, like, no experience in wildfire firefighting. And that's why they didn't anchor the fire. They didn't do all these Things to narrow it. So that's like the biggest problem. You have all these communities next to wild land where it interfaces. So you can't have a command structure that knows how to do structure fires in cities, but not when it connects to wildland. Especially if your state government isn't going to do firebreaks is going to leave 60 years of dead brush surrounding these communities. So I keep on saying all this because I keep saying Hollywood is next, Bel Air is next, Brentwood, Mandeville Canyon, the other side of palace, you're all next. And I'm not trying to be like, negative. If you don't start doing what I'm doing and calling out these people to come do your fire breaks to clear the deb Rush, to clear the city lots that have Deb Rush, your house is going to be burned down, and then you're going to be in a dirt lot and you're going to be like, oh, my God, it happened to me. This isn't like a Palisades only thing. Especially when terrorists come to town for the Olympics. What do you think they're going to do? They're going to burn everything down. This is not rocket science now. Especially now that Newsom and Bass use the palaces fire as like one man arsonist, destroyed 7,000 structures, killed 12 people. They make it actually look like glorifying. Yeah. They make it like this guy is the one, which he's not. But if you're an actual bad guy, you're like, oh, look at them all talking about this guy. This guy's famous. It's just like these school shooters that all get to get famous and then they all want to do it. You don't think this is coming on a big scale? Oh, we know Santa Ana winds are coming every year to California. So you don't think a bad guy is going to go throw road flares on an electric bike with the. If they don't even want to get caught, all you do is put on a ski mask, a helmet, a stolen E bike, you drive around, you throw the road flares for 20 minutes all around, zipping around, boom.
