“The Father is the good life.” WHERE WE FIND OURSELVES Everyone wants the good life, and we chase it down two paths: rule keeping and rule breaking. They look like opposites, but both are the same bite of the same fruit, the good life without God. Both enslave. WHAT CHRIST HAS DONE When the fullness of time had come, God sent forth the true Son, born under the law, to become a slave like us and redeem us. He paid for our rule keeping and our rule breaking on the cross, felt like an orphan so we never have to, and sent the Spirit of the Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” No longer slaves, but sons and heirs. VISION FOR THE CHRISTIAN LIFE For the church to become a house of returned sons and daughters: people who go to God in prayer to enjoy the Father rather than leverage Him, and whose love, joy, and peace spill out until rule keepers and rule breakers alike find the road home to the Father through our lives as free sons. “Christ the Son made us heirs.” WHERE WE FIND OURSELVES Believers and skeptics alike know something is not right here. Sin lost us the land, divided the people, and cost us the blessing of God’s presence. And the law, our guardian, cannot carry us home. So we live like heirs locked outside the castle: sons by promise, orphans in practice, trying to earn what can only be inherited. WHAT CHRIST HAS DONE Our older Brother came to get us. He was condemned so we are justified, orphaned on the cross so we are sons, baptized into death so we are baptized into life, clothed as a slave so we are robed as royalty. By faith, not law keeping, we stand heirs according to promise. VISION FOR THE CHRISTIAN LIFE For the church to become a house of royal sons and daughters on the Treasure Coast: people who run to the Father without a middleman, wear their robes into a world that is not yet what it should be, and through the Spirit bring some Eden into every place they walk. BIG IDEA “The law imprisons. The promise frees.” WHERE WE FIND OURSELVES We keep living in a two-party deal we cannot win. The law was never given to save us; it exposes sin and imprisons everything under it. So we hide from the God who comes to bless, or we go on pretending our sin does not matter while it chains the people we love. WHAT CHRIST HAS DONE God made a one-party promise, sealed in blood, that no law can annul. Christ, the promised offspring, kept the law perfectly, entered the prison of sin and death from the outside, and in His resurrection broke open the doors and carried us into the inheritance: the Spirit of the living God in us. VISION FOR THE CHRISTIAN LIFE For the church to become a gate to Eden on the Treasure Coast: a people who are themselves land, people, and blessing because the living God dwells in them, and who answer shame, guilt, doubt, and tragedy with one unshakable word: yeah, but God promised. FALLEN CONDITION We live by an invisible ledger, sure that if the good outweighs the bad, God will bless us. But the law does not grade on a curve. It demands perfect keeping. One failure chains us to the cursed mountain. SOLUTION IN CHRIST Christ left the mountain of blessing to come to ours. He wore the crown of thorns, was hung on the tree, and became the curse for us. Now, by faith, He gives us a righteous standing before God and the promised Spirit who brings the blessed life on the cursed side. VISION FOR THE GROVE The Grove to become a people living the blessed life on the cursed side. Sons and daughters standing with joy on the mountain of sorrow, peace on the mountain of fear, and offering the fruit of heaven to a world still tangled in thorns. BIG IDEA “The good life isn’t earned, only received.” FALLEN CONDITION We trust our works for what only God can give. Like the bewitched Galatians, we know the gospel and yet live as though our performance, our persistence, and our religion will finally earn what was always meant to be received. The harder we climb the tower, the further we get from Home. SOLUTION IN CHRIST Christ kept the covenant we could not. He became the seed of Abraham, buried in death and raised by the Spirit, so that by faith we receive what we could never earn: the gift of the Spirit, a Father, and a place in the family of every nation Abraham was promised. VISION FOR THE GROVE The Grove to become a community that stops trying to build Eden and starts receiving it. A people who do great things in the world not to reach the presence of God, but from it. To become unlikely friends who become family, living proof that the promise made to Abraham is being kept in this room. BIG IDEA “Approval through Christ sets you Free.” FALLEN CONDITION We walk into every room as slaves to the opinions of others. Their praise goes to our head and their disapproval goes to our heart, and we wear ourselves out performing for a verdict we can never finally win. Even our religion can become one more performance that nullifies the grace of God. SOLUTION IN CHRIST By faith we have been crucified with Christ, and Christ now lives in us, justified once and for all. The Son of God loved us and gave Himself for us, and our names are graven on His scarred hands. His verdict settles every other verdict in the room. VISION FOR THE GROVE The Grove to become a community whose freedom runs so deep that no room can shake it. People who walk in already most loved by the Father, no longer ruled by the lust for approval or the fear of disapproval, free to love every person they meet because they have nothing left to prove. “Gospel Clarity keeps you free.” FALLEN CONDITION We keep trading the freedom Christ has won for chains of our own making. Gatekeepers from the outside say “Jesus plus ___”. Keep the rules, perform, prove yourself. The voice from the inside whispers we still aren’t enough. Either way, we step back onto the performance treadmill and lose the freedom that was already ours. SOLUTION IN CHRIST On the cross Jesus entered the ultimate war room. He wore every accusation against us as His own, took the verdict we deserved, and left our sin, guilt, and shame in the prison of death. Then He rose. Now every spy is defeated, every gate broken open. We are justified by faith in His finished work, we have nothing left to earn, no gate to pass, and no master with keys over our head. The war is won. VISION FOR THE GROVE The Grove to be a community so fluent in grace that counterfeits cannot survive long among us. We do not guard the door by keeping people out; we guard the gospel by knowing freedom so deeply that any “Jesus plus ___” feels immediately foreign. BIG IDEA “Truth revealed produces transformation and worship.” FALLEN CONDITION We are all searching for truth about God, ourselves, and how to live, but every source we turn to (institutions, tradition, the inner voice) proves insufficient and leads us further from the God we seek. SOLUTION IN CHRIST The truth we cannot find finds us, by grace, through a personal revelation of Jesus Christ, not because we have earned it but only by God’s good pleasure. VISION FOR THE GROVE To be a community where every person has their own personal story and experience of grace; not borrowed faith, not inherited religion, but a personal encounter with the risen Christ; and where those stories, told honestly, make the watching world glorify God.

“Live from approval, not for it.” FALLEN CONDITION We are slaves to the fear of rejection and the craving for approval. A few people’s opinions carry enormous weight, and without realizing it we let them rule our lives; shrinking, performing, and comparing to win a verdict we can never secure. SOLUTION IN CHRIST On the cross Jesus bore the rejection we feared most: “My God, why have you forsaken me?” so that in Him we are justified: declared approved, loved, and clothed in His perfect record. When the Father looks at us, He sees Christ. Resting in that finished verdict, we no longer need anyone’s approval, and we are free to live for God’s pleasure out of joy, not fear. VISION FOR THE GROVE The Grove to live as a community of sons and daughters who fear no one’s rejection and crave no one’s applause. Free from the lust for admiration and validation, with nothing to prove, we love God and love one another from that freedom; free and fully alive. BIG IDEA “Grace plus anything is no longer grace.” FALLEN CONDITION We are restless self-saviors. Even when we believe in Jesus, we keep trying to add our performance, politics, or tribe to His finished work — and in doing so we defect from the very grace that set us free. SOLUTION IN CHRIST On the cross Jesus cried tetelestai — “It is finished.” He paid the debt in full, bore the judgment we owed, and rose to deliver us from this present evil age. We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Nothing left to earn; only Someone to trust and worship. VISION FOR THE GROVE The Grove is a community where weary people lay down their self-salvation projects and find rest in the finished work of Jesus. We refuse to bend the gospel toward performance, partisanship, or tribe. Because Christ alone is our righteousness, we are free — free to obey out of joy, free to love across every line, and free to live as a worshiping people whose first instinct is, “To Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.” Links: Website: https://thegrovechurch.co Instagram: https://instagram.com/thegrovechurchofficial Facebook: https://facebook.com/thegrovechurchofficial Sermon Audio: https://soundcloud.com/thegrovechurchofficial Podcast: https://tr.ee/c0BcdkUV3C Support Our Ministry: https://grovechurch.churchcenter.com/giving If this video was helpful to you, please like, comment, and subscribe — and share it with someone who needs hope today.
