If you want to go one step further with this then I recommend tracking your blood sugar using a CGM (continuous glucose monitor); more on this below. The minimum effective dose of protein is 0.8 to 1.0 grams per pound of body weight for active adults. Consider tracking your glucose levels with a CGM.
