It is so tempting to want everyone to like you, to want everyone, to buy your programs, to want every podcast and every speaking event and every opportunity to want you. But here's the hard truth. The more time you spend trying to be everything to everyone, the less effective you'll be for the people who actually matter.

Welcome to the Influencer Podcast. I'm your host, Julie Solomon. If you found yourself here, it means you are ready to unleash the powerful visionary that lives inside you, turning you into an authentic leader who creates influence, impact and change. Let's get started. Hello, friends.

Welcome back to another episode of the Influencer Podcast. This is Julie here and I have a question for you. How much time and energy are you currently wasting managing what people think about your business? If you have ever hesitated to optimize an offer, set boundaries, or post online because you're worried about how someone might react, this is going to be the episode for you. Today I am introducing a simple yet powerful mindset shift that will change the way that you show up in your business and unlock your next level of growth. It is called the that's fine method. And trust me, this one is going to stick. This is really about freeing yourself from people pleasing, releasing the need to manage everyone else's reactions, and stepping into your role as the leader of your business. But here's the deeper truth. This is exactly the kind of mindset that we must cultivate in order to step into those bigger levels of authority and leadership that we are desiring. And this is exactly what Luminary, which is my new 2025 high level experience, is designed to do. It's designed to help established entrepreneurs refine their authority, increase their visibility and scale their businesses with clarity and conviction. And this is where we start. So if you're ready to stop holding back and really start leading with confidence, and not just confidence within yourself, but confidence within your ability to show up and to share, then this episode will hit home. So let's get started. So we all know that we cannot control what other people think. And the more energy that you spend trying to manage people's opinions, the less energy you have for what actually matters. And that is building your business, stepping into your authority so that you can create the financial freedom and the impact that you desire. Because here is the truth. Not everyone will understand your boundaries. Not everyone's going to agree with your pricing and how you position your offers and the way that you market them and why they are, you know, messaged the way that they are. Not everyone will get what you do. And that's fine. Your job isn't to convince them. Your job is to show up for the clients who already get it. Now, this is a key part of what you really have to work on when you are stepping into those higher level, those higher levels of authority within yourself and really stepping into those higher level opportunities to get what you want. This is really about how you put yourself in the path of opportunity and actually call in those things that you say you want to do this year. Get on more podcasts, speak on more stages, be known as the go to in your industry. So this is why Inside Luminary, which is the mastermind that I'm doing this year, we have these VIP sessions. And during these sessions, what we're doing and why we're doing it is that we're focusing on refining your messaging so that it speaks directly to your ideal clients in a much bigger way, in a next level way. Because we cannot and we will not water down your message to make it palatable for everyone. That's not how we serve. We make it clear, compelling, and aligned with your genius so that that clarity attracts the right clients and repels the wrong ones. And it also attracts the right opportunities. Because that's exactly what you're saying you want this year. And I get it. It is so tempting to want everyone to like you, to want everyone to buy your programs, to want every podcast and every speaking event and every opportunity to want you. But here's the hard truth. The more time you spend trying to be everything to everyone, the less effective you'll be for the people who actually matter. Your aligned clients are literally waiting for you today to step into your authority. They're not looking for someone who's constantly explaining themselves or second guessing their own worth. They're looking for clarity. They're looking for competence. And they're looking for leadership in the person that they choose to align with. So when you show up with that energy, guess what happens? They lean in. Every time you choose to hold back in your business, to manage someone else's reaction, you're giving away your power. Stop doing that. Instead, just say, you know what, that's fine. Let's say you announce a new offer and someone comments, I can never pay that much. Your response, that's fine. Let's say that you put yourself out there to be on a podcast and someone says, I'm not interviewing people right now. Instead of taking it personal, that's fine. We move on, because that's what leaders do. Because we know we come from a place of the cup runneth over. We know if not this, something better. We don't see it as some scarce thing that has been taken away from us. And that's why inside luminary and really some of the bigger level conversations and support that you get, it's not just about the strategy. It's about the belief systems. It's about the person that you need to become. Because we don't focus on convincing people to buy. We focus on making sure that your messaging, your offers, and your visibility efforts are aligned to the person that you need to be so that people naturally say yes without feeling the need to explain, without feeling the need to justify or to defend yourself.

If you are still listening to this podcast episode, it's probably because your social content isn't hitting the sales goals that you know that you're capable of achieving. It just doesn't feel easy. You're likely frustrated because while sales are happening for you, they aren't growing at the level you know they could be. You see others in your niche skyrocketing and you're wondering why your sales aren't reflecting the brilliance that you bring to the table. And let's just be honest, not from a place of comparison, but from a place of clarity. You know you have more expertise than most people in your space. You know the transformation you provide is second to none. So why aren't more people buying your offers after consuming your content? Nine times out of ten, the problem isn't your pricing or your offer. It's a gap in your messaging. The way you communicate with your audience is the difference between ideal clients buying from you every single day or your sales remaining static for months. The truth is, when you learn how to shift and refine your messaging, you'll have clients reaching out to work with you directly from the content you're already creating without needing constant sales calls, posting every day, or chasing after the next viral trend. This is exactly what I cover inside the Brand accelerator, which you get lifetime access to, helping you turn your content into a magnet for your ideal clients so your sales can finally reflect the expertise and transformation you offer. Let's turn your messaging into a powerful sales and brand visibility tool. Ready to get started? You can join me@juliesolomon.net TBA now the.

Next thing we gotta talk about disappointment in business and in relationships. Think about a time when someone that you cared about or something that you cared about disappointed you. Maybe a friend didn't invite you to an event, or a client ghosted you after a discovery call. What did you do? Did you try to manage their reaction? Did you overthink why they acted that way? Did you somehow make that mean something about you? What if you said, that's fine and let it go? Because here's the thing. People will disappoint you. Clients will walk away. Friends won't always show up. And that's not a reflection of you or your leadership. It's just simply where they are. And that's okay. Letting them be who they are frees you up to show up fully for the people in the community who do align with you. So when someone doesn't support your goals, when someone doesn't get what it is that you're trying to do, that's fine. You don't need their approval to succeed. And this, my friend, leads us to this beautiful thing called freeing yourself. Because once you free others from your expectations. Expectations, it's time to free yourself from the pressure to explain. To explain. Your offers, your pricing, the way that your marketing looks, your boundaries. They don't need to make sense to everyone. They just need to make sense and align with you.

So I have a confession. I have some weird productivity hacks. One of them is that I listen to podcasts and audiobooks at at least 1 1/2 to 2x speed. My husband thinks it's absolutely nuts, but I swear it's been a total game changer for me. It just helps me retain information faster, which is why I am absolutely obsessed with Headway. And again, this is something that we dive deep in the higher level support opportunities inside Luminary. We don't just refine your messaging for clarity, but we map out your client journey to ensure that your offers, your pricing and the visibility efforts are actually working together to attract those aligned clients at every stage with the stage that you're stepping into. So the result of this is not just a business that may be doing better on paper, but it's a business that feels cohesive, expansive, aligned and scalable without constant needing to explain yourself or justify your decisions. So yes, this is a lot of tactical work, but this is also a lot of that inner belief system as well. And if you're doing something right now, if you know that you are meant to lead bigger this year, make more money, support more people, but you're tweaking your messaging to soften the blow. You're offering discounts to close a sale. You're creating content that won't offend people. That's not going to get you there. You've got to start showing up with that clarity and that conviction and you knowing who you are and what you bring to the table. So what you can do to start leaning into this clarity, this authority, this action is to ask yourself, what boundaries have I been avoiding setting because I'm worried about what people will think? Where am I holding back from showing up fully in my business? What decision am I afraid to make because I'm scared of the reaction? Whatever comes up for you, that's where you need to say that's fine and move forward with what you know to be that next level version of you. You know, imagine that you've been holding back on raising your prices for something or maybe reshifting how you work with clients because you're worried that clients will push back. You're worried that people will say no. So let's say that you finally raise them or you finally let go of clients that you've outgrown and sure enough, someone sends a message. What's your response? That's fine. The client isn't a fit. You move forward with the ones who see the value and are excited and ready to come with you to this next level. Because you don't need to be liked by everyone. You need to be clear to the right people. I mean, just think about how many draft posts you probably have in your Notes app right now that you've saved because you're worried about the reaction. Maybe you wrote a caption that felt bold and authentic. But you stopped short of hitting posts because you thought, oh my gosh, what are my clients going to think? What are people going to think? And that hesitation right there, my friend, that is a power leak. And so whether it's luminary or, you know, a higher level VIP experience, just working with a coach, really anyone that you trust at a higher level, this is really the conversations that should be had working on building that confidence to show up with clarity and conviction. Because that is what leadership requires, my friend. Leadership is not just, here's a five step, you know, system, framework. If that was the case, everyone would be a leader. Yes, you need that. But this is also about who do you become in this moment? Which then leads me to my next thing. Leadership is about showing up with clarity and conviction. Because when you've got the strategies and the frameworks and all the things and you own your messaging and you make clear offers and you set unapologetic boundaries, you, you, my friend, create space for these beautiful, amazing, aligned clients to finally step forward. But here's the catch. You have got to stop watering yourself down to be liked. Yes, people will judge, people will misunderstand, people will unfollow. Why? Because people are people. And that's fine. Why? Because your job is to lead, not manage reactions. And guess what? We don't just get to lead when it feels good. Sometimes the moments that matter most in leaderships are the moments that we don't always like as much. They're the moments that may not feel so great. When someone doesn't understand your boundaries, that's fine. They don't need to imagine that you have been wanting to stop doing so many discoveries calls and you finally give yourself the permission to do that this year. People might be confused, people might be frustrated, people might be like, huh, guess what? Let them be. That's fine. You've made a decision to create a different sales process. That's not discovery calls. That protects your time and your energy. And it's not your job to manage how other people feel about it. And here's another truth. You don't need to convince people who aren't ready to work with you. I promise you, your leadership time is better spent serving the clients who see your value and are excited to invest. So if they're not aligned, that's fine. Let them walk away. So here is your action step for today. I want you to write down the boundaries, the decisions, the content ideas, anything that you've been holding back on because you're worried about what someone might think. And I want you to ask yourself, what would change with this scenario? If you said, that's fine, go make that post, go set that boundary, go fire that team member, go hire that one, raise that price. And if you're ready to really own this in a whole new way, to elevate your authority, to increase your visibility, to scale your sales without feeling so dang afraid, that's where Luminary comes in. It combines that deep transformational work of the VIP sessions of the support with the accountability to ensure that you achieve sustainable growth and step into your leadership and your authority with clarity and confidence. Because I promise you, the clients that are coming to you right now, the opportunities that are coming to you right now, they are a direct reflection of what you're putting out there. And so if you don't feel aligned with the opportunities that are coming your way, if you don't feel aligned with the clients that are coming your way, if you don't feel aligned with the money that's coming your way, that is not just a strategy issue. That is a leadership issue. It's a direct reflection of what you're putting out into the world. Because when you stop wasting energy on things that aren't yours to manage, you get to pour all of that into growing a brand and a business and a message that you actually want to share. So this year, I want you to start saying, that's fine. Let people think what they will. Let clients walk away, let others have their opinions. And you, you step into leadership, you own your authority, you stay focused on your goals. Because at the end of the day, your job isn't to manage everyone else's thoughts and feelings. It's to lead your business with clarity, with confidence, and with integrity. And remember, leadership doesn't require permission. It requires conviction. So with that, my friends, thank you so much for dropping in today, listening to this episode, if this episode resonated at all, share it with someone who needs to hear it. Leave me a review and let me know if this has given you maybe just like that extra kick in the pants that you needed this week to stay on track. Because I get it, man. Especially this time of year, it's like, it can feel so overwhelming because we have all these ideas and these goals, but if these belief systems keep holding us back, we're not going to be able to get there. So remember, that's fine. And I'll see you next week.
