And welcome back to another episode of the Influencer Podcast. Today we have one of the most incredible people that I know when it comes to online business, specifically in her industry of decluttering and home organization. And she happens to be a client of mine, Stacy Lanholm. Today we are going to be talking about how Stacy built such an incredible low ticket, high volume business in the digital product space of decluttering and home organization. She's going to be sharing her beautiful story of how she got into this work and how she was able to shift her work to find more clarity in her message and in her offers to go from a 1% conversion rate to over a 9 and a half percent conversion rate, which is huge. How she helped herself under complicate her offer flow, especially in the digital product space which can be so cluttered. And what has been her biggest lesson in selling simple low ticket products in a way that feels premium and growth based. We're also going to talk about how stepping in to and creating a more clearer business model and specifically a new framework that her ideal clients could see themselves in and understand really changed her entire business. Not just as a business owner but as a known leader in her space. So this is someone that is known in her industry for doing what she does best and, and how some of the identity shifts that we worked on and how that affected her messaging really played a part in into that. So if you're wondering how to grow your business go from good to great, or even if you're interested about how to declutter your life, the life of your loved ones and how Stacy was able to tap into that genius and build a very profitable and sustainable online business. And of course how messaging, clarity and identity recalibration plays a part in that. You're going to love today's episode and with that, let's get started. Hi Stacy, welcome to the show.
B
Oh, thanks Julie. I'm so excited to be here.
A
I am so excited to have you and I feel like this is such a fun, this is gonna be such a fun conversation because it really does show that women that come into my world, you know, it's not just this coach client relationship. It's not like, you know, I'm at some level and you're here like you. Every client that I get to coach is truly a peer of mine in some way. They have a mastery, they have wisdom that I myself sometimes need. In this case, Stacy, we were literally just talking about before I hit live here, I was like, okay, Stacy, it's time. I'm going to need you. I need to, I need to invest in your program because of what she does and some stuff that's happening with my in laws, which we're going to get into. But that's what really makes these conversations so rich, is that we get to really hear from women who are walking the walk, talking the talk. They are really putting their hearts out there and their heads down to go from good to great. And it's such an honor to be able to walk that path alongside women like you. So thank you so much, Stacy, for being here.
B
Oh, well, I'm honored to be here. I've been following you for so long and so many podcast episodes and like she's talking to me. I know I've sent you a message before and I'm like, specifically, I think this was me that you were the only one you're talking to. Yep.
A
And now we literally get to talk on the podcast. So it's going to be fun.
B
This is so fun.
A
This is going to be great. I have had the privilege and the honor of being able to work with Stacy on her business, her growth, her messaging and her marketing for about the last four months. And it has been an incredible journey just to learn more about your wisdom, your genius. You're so brilliant at what you do and not just at what you do. You are brilliant in online business, which I also want to talk a little bit about today too. But you have built just such a strong brand around home organization, around decluttering. But I know that it comes from something deeply personal in your life that you experienced. So can you share a bit about your experience with your mom's passing and how that shaped your just your view on clutter, your view on home, your view on legacy, and how that was the catalyst of what you've now created as your business?
B
Yeah, it. We're all shaped by how we grew up, right. Our childhood and there's things that come back. And I'm very close with my family. My entire family is super close. And so this all like kind of came together when I lost my mom. Like, it was just an eye opening process that you go through losing, like the most important person in your life that you never imagined life without. Right. And when you lose that person, you kind of put things into perspective. And so I've spent so many years in the business world, and I was like, I want to do something that has more than just business impactful. And so, yes. So it came to, like, home organization, which I never really thought I would do, but it was just so meaningful that I wanted to be a part of that, and it became my mission. So growing up, our house was, like, super clean. Like, my dad was in the army. Like, we used to, like, call him Mr. Clean because everything was super tidy when it came to that. However, they didn't have much money growing up, and so they were very successful with their. They had a truck dealership. And so they were able to really provide a really amazing life for my siblings and I and gift people things. So my mom loved to shop. She gave gifts to everybody. Like, she'd go into the post office and take little candles and gift things to the people that were working behind the counter. Like, that was her genuine, like, generous heart that she had. And so we had. We would tease her because in her basement she had, like, Gail Mart. So if you needed a gift, you could just go downstairs. You didn't have to run to Bath and Body or wherever you were going to go. And so I want you guys to picture that because that's how I grew up. And there was stuff. And I never thought about how you can have stuff organized, but you can't out organize a certain amount of stuff, no matter how many bins, how many baskets. So we couldn't sit at the kitchen table and eat dinner together because there was baskets and bins. And she volunteered at church and she did all these things and had paperwork. And it was, like, heavy in my childhood because you think of that. So now I'm a little crazy because there's like, nothing allowed on my countertops at any point, right? So fast forward losing my mom, who was again, so precious to me, and then having to clean out her house. Two houses, because they had a house in Florida and a house in Michigan. And it was so overwhelming. Like, my sister and I would just sit and cry on the floor, like, what? What are we gonna do with all this? We knew my mom was going to be mad if we got rid of stuff. Or then we, like, we were angry because we had to do. We were sad. Like, there's all these emotional, you know, things that come into play. And I promised myself right then and there I would never do this to my girls. And not that I was angry at my mom because I love her, but because it was so heavy, I wanted to just cry and talk about memories and go through the important things. And there was all this stuff that was there. So that became my mission at that point was I want to help women because I know how heavy this topic is, especially because so many come to me that have already lost someone or they're like me, an empty nester. And you're like, it's sad when your kids leave, right? Because you're like, oh, my house feels full but empty at the same time. So that really was the piece that I was like, I want to set out to help women make this a little bit easier and just baby step their process instead of feeling so overwhelmed.
A
You know how I'm always talking about resonance and marketing? Well, I wanted to go deeper. So I took Daniel Pink's class on sales on Masterclass, and it completely shifted how I view selling. Instead of tactics or pressure, it was all about trust, connection, and making people feel seen, which is my look, love, language. And that's exactly why I teach my clients. So learning from him was like the fuel for my next level when I took this class. With Masterclass, you can learn from the best to become your best. For just $10 a month billed annually, you can get access to over 200 classes across business, leadership, communication, creativity, and so much more. Even with my pack schedule, I love how the Masterclass lessons are short, potent, and powerful and very easy to fit in while I'm making tea or getting ready in the morning or driving. And I use it this way to really complement a lot of the work that I am doing in my business, but also outside of it. And you should, too, especially if you want to build a business and a life that feels like you. Right now, our listeners get an additional 15% off of any annual membership@masterclass.com influencer. That's 15% off@masterclass.com influencer. Masterclass.com influencer. Well, and as we talked about, I mean, I want to dive into kind of who you. You just touched on it, but like, really who your ideal client is and how you help them. I mean, I'm an ideal client of yours. I was literally telling you before we got on here, and I've been talking to you about it. I'm like, okay, my husband just got back from Baltimore. It's time to get my in laws out of their house. They're in their 80s. And so I I need your brain, I need your process, I need your wisdom to help us help them declutter. And you know, they've been there for over 30 years and they love to collect things. So someone like me. Yes. But tell me a little bit more about who are the people that you tend to work with most and, and what is that problem that you really help them solve and transform as it comes to the decluttering in the organization piece?
B
Yeah, I think ideally I see a lot of people like me. My kids are older. I'm an empty nester. So you get to that phase and you're like, where you do have more time. You're not running around going to sports practices and games and things and doing, you know, each phase of life brings something new. And so I think that's a lot who attracts to my story because they hear that piece and somebody my age that does, you know, tend to have lost a parent or they're going through that process of like, Julie, what you and I were talking about, you know, your in laws and. Which is fantastic. If you have a parent that's aging that you can have these conversations with now that you can then be a part of that. Because I'd give anything to go back and go, mom, what did this mean? What did you do with this? And so to go through that together is so special. And for her to make choices on what, who gets what right, it's. It's different. And so that's who's usually attracted to me, who you'll see majority. Because a lot of times when you're a younger mom, it's hard to, like, you know, find time for that. But I do think it's super important and the program really can work for anyone. It's really about, I want peace, I want to feel relaxed, I want to walk in my front door and I want my home to feel calm. And you design the home that you want. It's not up to me to say, you need to get rid of that. That's clutter. And I can't tell you what clutter is, but I can say, how does this make you feel when you walk in your office and you see paper piles everywhere, or you walk into the basement and there's just stacks of, you know, kid clothes and kid toys and things that you're like, I'll get to that someday. So anyone who resonates like, I'm ready to take control of my house, I'm ready for a calm, relaxing home that feels good. That's kind of my ideal client because you're ready. You're ready to start tackling the hard stuff.
A
And I mean, Stacy, you know me because you've worked with me for a while, so you know that, like, we talk strategy and that's great, but, like, we actually go a lot deeper than that. And, like, it's not just about the problem that you solve. It is about how it literally can transform and refine and dictate who you are as a person, the identity that you lead in your business, in your life and your family. So I would love to know from you, from your experience, how does a cluttered home manifest or transform into other aspects of our life?
B
Oh, I wish people could really truly see that. Because when your chaos at home goes all areas of your life, right, you're late everywhere, you can't find things, so you're constantly frantic. The stress level. So as people start to come in my program and get like, little things start to click together and they're like, oh my gosh, now I have more freedom to do the other things that I want. Maybe you want to read, maybe you want to work out, maybe you want to. Whatever it is, your hobby, those things come because your mind, like you said, it's deeper than that. It's truly eye opening how much time we have. Because that's the biggest excuse I get, right? Like, oh, I would do that. I'm going to do that later. I don't have time. But it's the opposite. If you want time, you start to deal with that and get organized and just keep stuff you love, not because you feel guilty and you have to keep it. It frees up so much in your life. Like, they go hand in hand.
A
I'm not surprised at all because I just, even from seeing how you walk and you lead your life and, you know, the questions that you ask and the things that you are focused on and being led by you through this. I know women or men, you know, anyone that's going to invest in your programs and be led through your unique process and framework. It's going to be such a gift because it's actually going to impact so much more than a decluttered home or an unorganized pantry or what have you. And, and I think that that's also what has made you just strong and resilient in online business. And I want to talk about that for a moment as well, because as you know, as a listener of this podcast, I have a lot of women, like, they're all in the online business space for the most part. I've got online coaches, online service providers, course creators, online educators that listen to this podcast. And you've been at this for a while. Your business model is really unique in how you approach business. You know, you. You have a mass volume of people that will come into your world, and so you play more of the, you know, the tiny offer, the low ticket, high volume game. You have found a way to really make that work for you, but it's always a refinement. And so I know that when you first came and started working with me, you wanted that refinement piece in the messaging and in the offers. Like, you knew what you had. It had been validated in the marketplace. You're not. You are phenomenal at what you do. You are one of the best at what you do, but you were like, I've got to kind of fit some of these pieces back into the puzzle. So what shift for you, would you say, even just in this year, in 2025, that has helped you find more clarity in your message and in your offers and really making sure that you are calling out and calling in the women that need you the most?
B
Oh, well, I give so much credit to joining your coaching program, Julie, because I needed that clarity sometimes, you know, I have years and years experience in marketing and sales, but sometimes it's your own product that you're looking at in your own systems that you can't see past it. So for me, it was Julie coming in and going, okay, like, let's look at the framework. I think that was like the biggest piece that changed the messaging for me in speaking with you and having your expertise come in and look at it, because it allowed me to go, oh, I didn't think about it. Here I was selling, like, this solution and this solution, but if we tie it together. And it was not selling a cleaning list or a checklist or anything like that, because they can go on Pinterest, they can go, you know, all over the Internet and find their tips and stuff. But it was finding someone who, you know, understands the messaging. I'm speaking directly to them about that clarity, about the calmness, about being in control. So having you come in and, like, pull that out of me to say, okay, but what does that really mean? What is it you're really helping? And it was, you, like, asking those questions that we came up with, the reclaim and reset method, that really became the whole framework for me to go, oh, all roads lead to this, right? And so when we look at that, we could start identifying the right buyers because you're right. Like I get a thousand comments a day on my posts. I post three to five times a day. I play the numbers game because it is low ticket and it's overwhelming. And so you're going to get the freebie people, but you helping me pull that framework so that my messaging, my posts, like all the captions, everything like led to that, it's pulling in more of the right people and the right people take action. So hopefully that that makes sense. And it was definitely the framework.
A
Yeah, it totally does. And I would love for you to share because you, you came to me with a method, actually, with lots, lots of methods. I mean, again, you're a genius. No, I mean, you came to me with proprietary information, with intellectual property. We just needed to map it out and a methodology that your ideal client could see, could see themselves in and that could be mirrored back to them. So tell us a little bit about what we created and what I really mirrored back to you for you to create what was kind of mapped out and how, how you use that now to support women.
B
Yeah, honestly, you helped me identify. I wasn't helping women declutter and get organized. I was helping them reset their home, reset their life, like to really start thinking differently so that they weren't thinking like, oh, this is going to be so hard and they procrastinate because it just feels so heavy. So it was allowing them to peek into what the future could be. And I feel like that was the piece of putting it and tying it together to have the naming because I think reclaim and reset. When you talk to someone who's an empty nester or just done with the stuff and ready, like that resonates with them and they can see that I'm not just your normal, like, hey, let's organize your closet, you know, and I can tell you stop keeping stuff you don't wear. It's not that. Because you have to be in the right mindset. So that piece of it was so important for me to work on with, with women particularly. I know I get men who I don't want to, you know, say anything bad because men come to me too and go, please, can I do this? But it's really a mindset piece. But you have to speak to someone to where that resonates with them. And I think that's what you pulled out of me to say, okay, let's, let's focus on this and that'll attract the right people.
A
I've always believed that your brand should feel like you visually, energetically, emotionally but when I first started building my online presence, everything felt clunky and scattered. I wanted beauty and function and that's why I love Shopify. It lets you build a brand that looks exactly how you want it without the chaos. I have been wearing skims for years now. From their intimates to their sweat sets, I basically live in their sweats every single week. But the Fits Everybody collection, it is my favorite yet. These bras and underwear literally feel like second skin. I have got them in multiple colors. There is just no digging, no pinching, no awkward lines. I'm just going to be real with my women out there. It is just pure softness and stretch that somehow molds to you no matter what. The first time that I tried the Fits Everybody triangle bralette, it was night and day. It's supportive, but it's light. It holds me in without squeezing and adding that, you know, fat pocket that can come out. And honestly, it made me want to replace every bra that I own. So I did. And don't get me started on the bottoms. I even forget that I'm wearing them because that is how good they are and that is how great they fit. If you haven't tried skims before, do not sleep on them. I recently took my mom to New York on a trip and we went to the skim store and she even found something that worked for her. And our bodies are very different. You can start to shop Skims Fit everybody collection@skims.com and after you place your order be sure to let them know that we sent you select podcast in the survey and be sure to select our show in the drop down menu that follows that. Because that's everything. You know, people aren't buying processes and checklists and ways to cut like you said they could get off Pinterest. They are buying the feeling that finally being decluttered is going to get them and it's really that future self identity, it's that next level that doing this work is going to get them to that they, you know, their, their past version got them here. But you're getting them to where they want to go. And another gift of yours, Stacy and I want to touch on this a little bit because of who listens to this podcast is because of the work that you do. You have learned online business, and particularly the low ticket, high volume game very, very well. I mean, you, you run ads yourself. Like, you, you know how to make it, how to make it work. And every business is different and we talk about that. I mean, in our coaching container, we've got women that play the high ticket game. We've got women that, you know, just focused on evergreen online courses. We have women that just focus on sales and marketing. You, you know, you do low ticket offers and it's always about meeting people in the place that's going to create the most momentum for them. But we know that so many entrepreneurs over complicate offers and offer suites and offer choices, especially in the digital product space, which is where you live in. So what has been your biggest lesson and wisdom that you could share to those listening in selling very simple low ticket products in a way that feels premium and a way that actually drives the volume of revenue that you need in order to have a sustainable business. And I would also love for you to touch on why ads are so important when it comes to low ticket products.
B
Well, I'll address that one right away because that's an easy one. Like you can't, you need the volume there. Like Julie was saying, like, I need that volume coming in to get to where I'm at. When your average ticket price is, you know, is 30, 40, $50. Do the math and work backwards. And Julie knows I drive her crazy with my spreadsheets and here's my conversion and I'm tracking everything. And like, I think like, and I know this is a little off topic, but you're like, sometimes you just have to stop and like stop overthinking it. Like stop focusing on that, which was huge for me for you to do that because I am so analytical that if I can't like track it back to go, why is this doing this? I've tested this. I ab test the crap out of everything and like use it on numbers to build my business, which has helped me. But I know my downfall is what Julie's genius is and I needed that piece of it to break through. So I would say what truly helped me though, because it is a lower ticket item to go to that premium is really the framework and the messaging and then testing the pricing. Like a big thing for me was we talked about this on our last call. It's the coupon codes. Like, I decided I needed to create urgency and get the right people to take action because we need that, like, little push to actually take the leap when we're going to do something that might be. Feel scary. And so I think testing the coupon code to different price points, so getting your pricing strategy to match. But first you needed that messaging because I feel like I was missing that. Then we started testing the coupon code for that. And then really from there, I mean, I went from a 1% conversion rate to a 9 1/2% conversion rate on a sales page. And I was like, holy cow. Holy cow, right? So like. But that's when everything, it's like that, you know, storm that comes through. But you can't do any of that until you're messaging attracting into the funnel. And then that has to lead to your emails. Because I was struggling with email conversion. I have 50,000 now email subscribers and just a little over a year and a half of business. So I was attracting people. But getting them to convert, getting them to see I had the outcome that they wanted and how I was different, all came from that messaging piece and getting that whole piece together and even spending money on ads. I would say don't do it until you get that messaging piece because you're just wasting money, you know, out there and you're not getting the right people on your list.
A
Yes. And that's huge. And you and I have talked about that, is that, you know, ads are just an amplifier. They're just going to amplify what's already there. So if you have message that doesn't work, if you have an offer that hasn't been validated in the marketplace, if you've got low ticket offer but you know, you haven't figured out, you know, the nuance and the framework to the pricing strategies, which Stacy and I did. And it was so fun to unlock that. You're, it's, it's probably, it's just going to amplify the broken pieces that are already there. It doesn't mean that you're not amazing and that your business is broken. There's just pieces that need to be moved around in the puzzle. But I think it's, it's easy. People tend to say, well, ads just don't work for me. And it's like, well, it's not that ads don't work for you. It's just that you don't have the right pieces in the right place. And I think that you are such a huge testament to that. And I loved what you said about. It's not just the one thing. It's not just, oh, let me change the price of this, or, oh, let me turn this, you know, high ticket offer into a low ticket offer or vice versa. It's, it's, it's the messaging, it's the offer positioning, it's how it actually flows into the greater ecosystem of the business. It's how you're showing up and actually being, being that person that is a mirror to the ideal client that you are wanting to call in to that highest level of the ideal client. It's, and it's the ads, like, it's, it's, it's a mix of all of those things that you have to really root in step by step to make it happen. And so how has stepping into this clear business model for you really just changed how you see yourself? Not just as a business owner though, but really as a leader in this space of decluttering and home organization?
B
You know, I think it's the confidence because I felt in before coming to you, having all these little pieces to the story, but not putting it together with the framework, I think made me feel like I was here and then there and then this way and then that way. And I felt a little disorganized in my brain right on what my business wanted to accomplish. And I think having that clarity that you get when you sit down and you really, like, draw in that framework allows you to say, okay, this is where I want to be. This is who I want to call in. And I feel like it gives you that confidence in your own business as well, because you're like, I know exactly who I'm looking for. And when the other people show up, you're like, it's okay. You know, we bless and release and we move on. And we're going to find the right people who do resonate with what we're saying. So I think it's, it's clarity and confidence and I feel like it's just giving me, you know, helping people find that in their home helps me find that in my business. Because then I'm like, oh, the stories that come back when somebody, you know, sends you an email and like, I've never felt this organized and oh my gosh, I actually had free time today and it's the first time someone stopped by my house and I wasn't embarrassed. Like, that stuff comes back to. You're like, oh, it's, this is what it's all about, like, as a business owner. Those are, you know, there's some tough days where we're like, why are we doing this? And those stories coming back to you go, okay, this is worth it. This is what it's all about.
A
Yeah.
B
And I want to keep doing more of this to help more women.
A
And that's what we have to remember, especially on those tough days, because they come for us all.
B
They do.
A
And I know that you've had. And you just mentioned, I mean, you've had some incredible conversion breakthroughs lately. You mentioned the 1% to 9%. Could you share more about that or even just another small change that you have made that maybe surprised you and how big of an impact it had on conversions and reach?
B
Yeah, I mean, my brain, when you ask me that, goes right back to messaging and having people identify it quickly. You know, I think that, like, even the replies that I get back from, I have a podcast on YouTube that's, you know, I give like two minute, you know, little tips for people. And it's like, when people reply back and like, wow. And it's. You're motivating it. So I think it all just comes back to getting clear on how to speak to people, really, then makes it full circle. And so you can't do one thing without the other. Like, I told you, I'm a numbers girl, and I'm always, you know, testing things and doing that. So that's important. But it's also, like, it's not just in numbers. Like, you had to step away from that piece to go back to, like, how is the landing page showing up? How is my emails showing up? How am I showing up? Like, am I just talking about decluttering? I mean, before I came to you, I probably was posting, you know, three to five times a day. And I was like, here's this decluttering tip. Here's this, you know, organization tip. Right. And so that's what I got back. So when you change, like, I want the woman who wants to walk in the door and feel at peace and relax in her home, who has friends over and can sit at her kitchen table and have coffee and not freak out because that person stopped by or something. Like, those feelings, I feel like pulled it all together for me, like, in being able to just share the story more and have the right people kind of identify with it, which then helps your conversion rates. Right? Because then the right people are showing up. So, you know, it's not just always getting, you know, I. I went to 100,000 followers in nine months. And it sounds flashy and you know, it's that vanity metrics and you know, I'm like, what's going on? But it's not until you dive deeper to say, okay, now I'm speaking differently. So maybe the growth isn't so fast, but it's the right people, which was so hard for me as a numbers girl, you know, so that was big.
A
So big. And I love what you said. It's like, I don't think the growth is fast, but it can be long and we may get those spurts and those spikes, but it's, it really is about playing the long game in, you know, in online business, in really stepping in to, to become known as the person in your space, all of the leadership. And really, again, it starts with us and beginning to recalibrate the identity of how we're showing up, because that dictates the message, not the other way around. And so if there is one belief, talking about messaging, I want to know your clutter message. If there is one belief about clutter or home organization that you just wish every woman, every child of a senior parent, every, you know, adult that has just, you know, lost a parent could rewrite in their life, what would it be?
B
It's definitely getting rid of stuff. Doesn't mean you're getting rid of, of a memory or the love for that person. Like, we tie so much into the physical object and that's why we end up keeping so much, because we're like, oh, I feel like I'm throwing out my kids childhood if I don't keep every piece of art that they've ever made, you know, and then when you give it to them, my girls are 25 and 23. They don't want it. They're like, mom, so like, you know, you can document, you can, you know, journal. Like that's the stuff that really matters. So don't let things give you the guilt because you don't have to keep everything. Because if you keep everything, nothing special. So keep a few things. You know, I have bins. Like, everyone's like, oh, you probably keep nothing. You know, you're whatever, you just organize everything and too much. And I'm like, no, no, I'm not about that. I have bins for my daughters when they get married and have kids that have a few of the baby outfits, a few of their, you know, their, their childhood memory things, their favorite toys. But I didn't keep everything because they don't even want that, you know, so it's about My favorite thing to say. And all my clients who work with me all know I go bless and release because it sounds better than throwing it out or donating, but find the things that you can bless and release. Take pictures and document of stuff, but you don't need the physical thing and release the guilt. We get so much mom guilt. Like it's struggle is real, ladies. You don't need to feel that way. You don't need to keep everything.

And isn't she just the best person to have walk you through this? I'm just, I'm excited that I get to become a client of yours now and learn the genius. I knew it was going to happen. I was like, we just gotta, we gotta get up there and talk to them first. And it's just, it's a beautiful thing to witness you. Witness you in your full genius. Owning that, Stacy, and, you know, owning all that is you at your highest self and then being able to message from there and share from there and create impact from there. It's been such a gift to, to witness and watch your growth. So I would love to know. Oh, absolutely. What feels really exciting for you right now and in, you know, as we go into the second half of 2025, whether that's a new product, a new unlock that you've gotten, a bigger mission that you're building, what's the next steps for you?
B
So I'm working on a membership piece to have my reclaim and reset method. Clients, if they want more, because like so much of what we talked about, even in the very beginning, where it's having a clutter, you know, clutter, free, organized house opens up other areas of your life, right? You can get more done. You can do different things. You have clarity outside the house because your house is feeling that, you know, lightness. And so I want to take women who are ready for that next level. Maybe it's working on priorities. I think one area, like a question that I get asked all the time, is how do you get so much done? Like, seriously. And I know I don't have little kids, so you never can compare, like somebody who's still running wild with kids to somebody like me. But still it's about setting priorities and time management. And I've had to work really hard at that because I'm somebody who would have a list of 52 things on it that I really thought I could get done today. And then I was disappointed. So I think that's my next mission, is to help women, like, realize it's. It's not just about the home, but what do you want out of life? Like, let's talk about the priorities that you want and how do we set your schedule and set you up for success, to not just feel organized in your home, but with your life. And I feel like we all need that accountability. We all need a coach. I mean, I was looking for Julie, and then she came screaming at me through her podcast that I knew she was my. The girl I needed, right, because she spoke my language. And so I want to help women find themselves that way and. And have that accountability that we all. I know we all need in life in different areas, and, you know, cheer them on, because I think when we have that accountability, we have that support, we can accomplish so much in life. So that's the next phase for me that I'm really excited about, because it is so much more than decluttering and organizing. You know, at the end of the.

Episode: Decluttering, Alignment, and the Power of a Clear Message
Guest: Stacy Lanholm
Date: September 10, 2025
In this heartfelt and strategic episode, Julie Solomon sits down with online business and decluttering expert Stacy Lanholm to unpack the journey from personal transformation to scalable business success. The conversation delves deep into how decluttering—both at home and in business—creates not just external order, but inner clarity and messaging alignment. Stacy shares how profound life events inspired her to build a purpose-driven business, how messaging refinement took her conversion rates from 1% to 9.5%, and practical insights for entrepreneurs, especially those leveraging low-ticket, high-volume business models. The episode is rich with actionable wisdom on identity recalibration, offer simplicity, and fostering true resonance with your audience.
"When you lose that person, you kind of put things into perspective. And so I've spent so many years in the business world, and I was like, I want to do something that has more than just business impactful… I wanted to be a part of that, and it became my mission." (04:44)
"It's really about, I want peace, I want to feel relaxed, I want to walk in my front door and I want my home to feel calm… Anyone who resonates like, I'm ready to take control of my house, I'm ready for a calm, relaxing home that feels good. That's kind of my ideal client because you're ready." (10:32)
"When your chaos at home goes all areas of your life… If you want time, you start to deal with that and get organized… It frees up so much in your life." (12:06)
"Here I was selling, like, this solution and this solution, but if we tie it together… It was finding someone who understands the messaging. I'm speaking directly to them about that clarity, about the calmness, about being in control… All roads lead to this." (15:01)
“You can’t, you need the volume there… When your average ticket price is $30, $40, $50, do the math and work backwards.” (22:06)
"I went from a 1% conversion rate to a 9 1/2% conversion rate on a sales page. And I was like, holy cow. Holy cow, right?" (23:36)
"I felt… disorganized in my brain right on what my business wanted to accomplish… Having that clarity… allows you to say, okay, this is where I want to be. This is who I want to call in." (26:08)
"It's not just in numbers… you had to step away from that piece to go back to, like, how is the landing page showing up? How is my emails showing up? How am I showing up?" (27:52)
"When you change… I want the woman who wants to walk in the door and feel at peace and relax in her home… those feelings, I feel like pulled it all together…" (28:29)
"Getting rid of stuff doesn’t mean you’re getting rid of a memory or the love for that person… Don’t let things give you the guilt because you don’t have to keep everything. Because if you keep everything, nothing’s special." (30:26)
"It's not just about the home, but what do you want out of life?… We all need that accountability. We all need a coach… I want to help women find themselves that way and have that accountability…" (33:20)
Julie:
"It starts with us and beginning to recalibrate the identity of how we're showing up, because that dictates the message, not the other way around." (00:01, restated at 29:37)
Stacy:
"You can't out organize a certain amount of stuff, no matter how many bins, how many baskets." (05:00)
Stacy:
"Keep a few things. I have bins for my daughters… but I didn't keep everything because they don't even want that, you know? So it's about… bless and release." (30:41)
Julie:
“It’s not just the one thing… it’s the messaging, it’s the offer positioning, it’s how it actually flows into the greater ecosystem of the business.” (24:45)
Stacy:
“Helping people find that in their home helps me find that in my business.” (26:50)
This episode is packed with strategic gold for entrepreneurs looking to align their messaging with their true impact, illustrates how personal transformation underpins business success, and provides real-world tactics for thriving in the digital product space without overwhelm. It’s especially relevant for anyone ready to streamline their business, clarify their mission, and embrace leadership—without losing themselves along the way.
