Hello, my friends. Welcome back to another episode of the Influencer Podcast. I hope that October has been treating you well. I feel like so much has transpired over the last couple of months. I'm finally, like, rooting into this fall season. I have had a lot going on personally. My husband has been out of town working, filming on his television show in Charlotte, North Carolina. So I have been single momming life here for the time that he has been gone. I am, of course, so grateful to have help as I would not be able to do it on my own. So having that help has been really, really incredible. But life, when you are solo parenting, it's just harder. We don't have the same 24 hours a day. And so I've been navigating that, really making sure that my kids are first and foremost taken care of. And then we've also had some sicknesses. My daughter had a double ear infection. My son had walking pneumonia. You know, you know, when it rains, it pours as moms. But I have been loving this new season coming in. We just ended the launch of the brand accelerator, and I gotta tell you, I love this program so much. And I think the reason why I love it so much is because it allows me, of course, to really do what I do best, which is help people with their messaging so that they can grow their brand, their visibility, their influence, their impact, their money. But more importantly, what I love about this program is that it allows me to do that in a way that feels truly aligned to where I am at in my business, in my life, and really in my zone of genius. And what I mean by that, and I think where I'm going with this, is this idea about the evolution of growth. As leaders, we all have our genius. And I believe that that never goes away and it only deepens and evolves as we grow and evolve. But with that, even though my genius has always been rooted in messaging, right? I mean, even from my days as a publicist working in pr, from my times of consulting, from my times of marketing, I even majored in pr. I mean, Messaging has been at the root of so much that I do in terms of my professional life. I also have always believed that I am a communicator at heart. It is one of my gifts. And that, of course, is directly tied to messaging. But what I've really loved about this journey with the brand accelerator and really being able to support leaders, I think in a more profound way and in a higher level is that it's truly the result of the evolution of how I've been able to support people with messaging. So if you've been in my world for a while, you know that I have had a course that I launched way back in 2016 that still sells today. I call it the Little course that Could. It's my program, Pitch It Perfect. And the reason why it sells is because it's flipping great. It helps people get results, and it has for the last eight years. You know, that was the first program as an online educator and an online coach that I ever put out. It was my first program to ever hit $1 million in sales. You know, brand deals is just one, if I'm being honest, small piece of the greater pie of what can happen in your life and business when you really hone in on your messaging. So, like, yes, can you work with your favorite brands if you learn how to really properly hone in on your messaging so you can pitch more effectively? Of course. But it's just one piece of the puzzle. And for the last several years, I have felt this tug of war, if you will, with trying to figure out how I internally still support those people who want that. But most important for me and for my evolution and really for what I am so great at helping People with how do I extend beyond that? And I have throughout the years, you know, I've had other programs and other courses and things like that, but I knew that I needed to root in on what do people, why do people keep coming back to pitch it? Perfect, right? And when I got really clear on that, it was because of the messaging piece. And since that is my genius, since that is what I'm so great at, and since that is essentially what I'm known for, I just, just needed to give myself permission to expand past that one piece of the puzzle, which was brand deals for so long. And so with all that to say, I have really started to notice. I first launched the brand accelerator fall of 2023 and so now we're a full year of that program being in the marketplace. And I will say that it has been such a beautiful journey to see how my ability to support and help women get results fast has just been able to expand and grow because I gave my permission to just go bigger when it came to messaging and to not just put myself in this small corner of the Internet of just being known as the brand deal girl and really allowing myself to expand beyond. Because when you even look at my own business and what I have done over the years, I've expanded past that personally. You know, I've gotten a six figure multi six figure book deal with a major publishing house, written a best selling book. I've spoken on a multitude of different stages. R f u l.com Julie in my masterminds to be honest with you, in the past brand deals haven't even really been a big part of that journey or conversation and so it's just been really, it's felt really good. I think is what I'm getting at that I finally feel like a lot of what I have been doing in my life and how I've been able to not only grow my own business, but support other women in such higher levels over the last five years. And even though I know I am meant to serve a lot of ideal clients out there that want to get brand deals, that is such a small percentage of what I am capable of supporting clients with when it comes to truly building a six or seven figure brand that is global, that is seen with impact and authority and really what I believe is true influence, which is that ability to change and make someone's life better than when you found them. And that is really the root of messaging for me. It's why I'm so passionate about messaging. It's why I've always been so passionate about messaging ever since I was in college. It's why I have the degree that I have. It's why I went into the line of, of corporate and agency work doing what I did as a publicist for years. And it's why I now, you know, and have been for the last decade, been in this online space supporting my ideal clients with that messaging piece so they can truly live out their own genius and their own brilliance. And the brand accelerator has been such a beautiful caveat just to see the elevation and sophistication of the level that I can now support my ideal client. And it's been a really cool thing. Like as I was saying earlier in this conversation, I've been a solo parent for the last few weeks. I've had very sick kids. We're in the process of about to move into a new house next year. There's just. There's a lot happening, and those kinds of things are always going to be happening. So there's never going to be a perfect time for you to just truly flipping own how incredible you are and what that genius is and who it is really meant for and how you can get it to them really faster and easier than ever before. And that really comes to back to that permission piece of allowing yourself to do that. So with that said, now that we're on the topic of this evolution, I've also been rooting in as to what else does that mean, right? Like, if I am the queen of messaging, if I am can help transform a coach, a service provider, an online educator's message in my sleep, how do I continue to level up and really provide the type of support and guidance and mirroring that I want to do? And there's been this thing on my heart that has been around lingering inside me for really, the past couple of years. And I think that I denied it for a while because I didn't want to be ever seen as or coined as some kind of, like, super mom who, you know, can do it all. Because I don't necessarily think that that is true, nor did I ever want to come across as a victim to my motherhood. Because I do think that you can be very successful in business and very successful as a mom in your personal life. I am proof of that. But I've been toying with this calling inside my soul to really get clear on the fact that I have been wanting to support mothers in a much deeper way. And this really came from the fact that, you know, there's a lot of great things out there that help women, whether it's retreats, masterminds, coaching programs, you name it. There's a lot of really good things out there. But I have been noticing over the last several years, this gap, this gap in all of those great things and specifically how it ties back to women. Because let's be honest, if you are listening to this and you are a mom, you know that our 24 hours just looks different than someone who is not raising children. Our conversations are different, the challenges that we face are different. Things are just different. And for years, as I've watched so many spaces offer offering incredible support for women in business, I noticed this gap of where is the space for the moms? The space that focuses not just on emotional alignment or sisterhood. Because I do feel like whenever there is a space for a mom, that's what it's always about, but on actual scaling, visibility and leadership while we juggle the complexities of motherhood.
