Let's get started.
Heather
Hello and welcome back to another episode of the Influencer Podcast. Today is a fun episode as I am bringing you behind the scenes of a recent coaching call that I did with some of my Brand Accelerator students. The Brand Accelerator is my signature program that I have that helps you reach, refine your messaging so that you can position yourself as an authority and grow your visibility in sales. There are a lot of really incredible messaging frameworks and strategies that I have cultivated over the years that I not only use in my business, but have now implemented in hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs businesses over the years to help them grow and thrive. And one of the highlights of this program is that I do a monthly coaching call with the students that join. And a recent coaching call that we had was so good and so amazing that I wanted to share it here. So you're going to get a gleam into what happens behind the scenes, what happens behind the curtain, if you will, on a coaching call with me, specifically how it relates to messaging refinement and rooting into how you are effectively articulating your value, your genius, and most importantly, the transformation and solution that you provide for your ideal client. So today's episode is going to be really beneficial for you if you are someone who feels a little confused, overwhelmed, or unclear on if your effectively articulating your value, how to do it better. Are you using the right words that your ideal client really needs to hear from you in order to make that buying decision. So with that, my friends, let's get started.
Julie Solomon
Hi, Heather. Welcome, welcome.
Unknown
Hi. I have a day job, so I can't always join the calls, but I'm glad you're here. Yeah, all my meetings got canceled today.
Julie Solomon
I love when that happens. And I'm like, oh my God.
Unknown
I'm like, what am I going to do? I'm actually going to talk. Well, yeah, come on in.
Julie Solomon
I would love to hear a little bit more about your focus for this week for today, like how I can support you.
Unknown
Sure. So my business is I give Akashic record readings and I also share with people about Color energy and the healing benefits. Really trying to put my stake in the road, you know, about like I'm a color expert because I've been working with the color modality for five years now. And then when I started giving readings I realized color bec came through so strong and then I've created a masterclass around it and then just trying to branch out further than just readings. Where this gets a little tricky is I've tried to figure out like okay, what my pillars are and what it is that I want to share when I go to post on Instagram and sometimes that's kind of challenging. Like I'll do. I know color is a pillar Akashic guidance and then like tips and tools. Because I, I also, I'm, I'm trained in so many modalities which I'm sure you've probably heard from everybody. But it all kind of funnels into my mentorship.
Julie Solomon
Yep.
Unknown
Sessions that I do as well. I call them Clarity Mentorship. But I'm going to rebrand the name because I feel like it's morphing into something else because it's kind of a whole body experience. I do breath work. I'm trained in trauma healing energetics as well as my readings and that. So it's, it's all evolving as I'm doing. However, I find that it's hard sometimes to pitch like what I do. Like I'm trying to figure out like a posting calendar. I'm kind of getting all over the place. But I'll post like a, maybe it's a tip with a quote or something. I'll do color readings which tend to have more engagement people like that. And I give like how to work with this color energy and my clients, I, I book a few. I mean I work a full time job also. So I'm really trying to be like I'm one foot in, one foot out in a way.
Julie Solomon
Yeah. Do you want to be one foot in or one foot out or do you. I don't.
Unknown
I don't. And I'm here at my job right now, but I don't. And that's what I'm trying to work towards. And I'm trying to really get out of my comfort zone of being. Yeah. Comfortable. I've been at my company for seven and a half years. I'm not aligned with it energetically but I am accustomed to the financial part of it, which is hard. So I'm trying to set myself up and I'm trying to treat this job is not my side job or like, oh, I do this on the side.
Julie Solomon
Yeah.
Unknown
I actually hired an assistant, which was interesting because right when I started the course and did all the, I watched almost all the modules and started, you know, the writing prompts, I hired someone to help me. And that's been amazing. Like, she comes over to my house on Wednesdays or we work virtually. So she's helped me get a lot of my back end worked out and everything. So it's really, it's helped me like tenfold. But yeah, I'm just kind of, I, I always hit this wall where I'm like, am I just repeating what everyone's doing? What makes me different?
Julie Solomon
Okay, so what is your day job? Just so I have that.
Unknown
I'm a design director.
Julie Solomon
Okay. And your perfect scenario would be you go all in on this business and you've got clients and you've got. So how do you see that? Are you. And I want to hear more about the coaching clients that you have right now. And like what that actually looks like price point. You charge kind of fill me more in on what that looks like.
Unknown
Okay. So when I do a one hour reading, it's $200. And there's a lot that goes into it. Like I, I channel in color codes. So in addition to the intuitive guidance, you get color codes and it. I tell you like, what colors to work with because it comes through so strong. It always resonates with the client. They love it. And then I send you the recording, but then you get like a nice breakdown of how to work with the color energy. So it's kind of a niche thing to talk about when. But when people get the readings, they're like, this is amazing. Wow. Why aren't you more booked or whatever? You know, I'm like, yeah, I don't know. And I know it's all energetic, so.
Julie Solomon
And you do this one to one, but you also have a course around this.
Unknown
No. And then I also have coaching sessions. So I do a package of three and it's a little bit of a reading. Like we do like a 10 minute reading in the beginning and then we kind of unpack what came through. And then I help people just get clarity on life. Like literally just, let's unpack. Because there's a lot of trauma. Sometimes in order to go forward, you need to release what the underlying issue is. So it's a very well rounded, I call it like a full spectrum type of session for my client and they love it. And I always suggest that you do it once a month. So it's just a package of three. And then like I just finished one with one client and she might be coming back again, but she's had three readings with me. She likes the things that I offer, so that's like one part of it. And then I have this meditation, called it the Radiant Heart Meditation. And it's again, it's like hands on placement, color, energy, breath work, all in one. So I'm trying to sell that. It's like a little low ticket offer and that's $44 as it feels like, right to do it. I'm like, okay, I can add this. I can add this. Eventually. I do want to have a color masterclass that I've created, but I need to pitch that. That's kind of where I'm at. I have my one on one clients, the mentorship, which is 555 for the package of three. I have my one hour reading, which is 200. My radiant heart meditation, which is 44. And then working on the masterclass, like, I feel like I want to get a bit more known before I launch that or if there's any tips on how to do that. I'm not all over the place. I'm more focused than I have been. But it's a niche subject. It's a niche topic.
Julie Solomon
Beautiful. We want niche. Niche is. Niche is good.
Unknown
Yeah. Yeah.
If you are still listening to this podcast episode, it's probably because your social content isn't hitting the sales goals that you know that you're capable of achieving. It just doesn't feel easy. You're likely frustrated because while sales are happening for you, they aren't growing at the level you know they could be. You see others in your niche skyrocketing and you're wondering why your sales aren't reflecting the brilliance that you bring to the table. And let's just be honest, not from a place of comparison, but from a place of clarity. You know you have more expertise than most people in your space. You know the transformation you provide is second to none. So why aren't more people buying your offers after consuming your content? Nine times out of ten, the problem isn't your pricing or your offer. It's a gap in your messaging. The way you communicate with your audience is the difference between ideal clients buying from you every single day or your sales remaining static for months. The truth is, when you learn how to shift and refine your messaging, you'll have clients reaching out to work with you directly from the content you're already creating without needing constant sales calls. Posting every day or chasing after the next viral trend. This is exactly what I cover inside the Brand accelerator, which you get lifetime access to, helping you turn your content into a magnet for your ideal clients so your sales can finally reflect the expertise and transformation you offer. Let's turn your messaging into a powerful sales and brand visibility tool. Ready to get started? You can join me at juliesolomon.net TBA.
Julie Solomon
And I know that you're. You're having a challenging time pitching. Are you having a challenging time pitching what you do and who it's for and what your genius is, or is it. Is it something else?
Unknown
You know, I'm gonna say what it is and who it's for because I feel like when I'm creating a post, I feel like it's so bland or it's just so broad, you know, because there's only so many. There's like, only so many. And I get a bit bored with it because there's only so words you can use, like up level, elevate, radiate. And then it sounds like it's just the same, same. And I really want to get specific. I don't know. And, And I know my human design. I'm a manifester. I'm a 4, 6 profile. So I, I understand where and how I should be operating. I just.
Julie Solomon
Right, it's.
Unknown
It's interesting. I just would love your take on, like, yeah, help me.
Julie Solomon
And you. You said earlier you think you're, You're. You're thinking that you should wait until you have, what, more authority before you create the program?
Unknown
Yeah, I guess I said just to have a bit more followers or a bit more. I don't know. I mean, I get engagement, but it's not a lot. And I know it's all what I put into it. So I have been in the last. Well, since I hired my assistant, I've been, all right, we're getting there. But then life happens too, and things, whatever. But I'm here now. I feel more energized this year. January was a little interesting, but I'm ready to go. So I'm like, okay, it's on.
Julie Solomon
I mean, maybe it's the program that. That is the catalyst for the visibility and not the other way around. Who know, Flat twist.
Unknown
It's a cool. It's a cool program, and I just need to get it out there. And.
Julie Solomon
Well, that's the thing that, you know, I, I started my podcast in 2017, and I, I wanted to start it a year before, but I kept telling myself I wasn't big enough and, like, I needed more visibility in order to start a podcast because who would listen? But then I finally did it, and actually the podcast, that was the catalyst for me becoming known, not the other way around.
Unknown
Yeah.
Julie Solomon
So you may surprise yourself with, like, once you really allow yourself to not only root into your genius, but to really own it and put it out there, how that really helps with the authority and visibility piece. So with that to say, I think how we can clarify this more and have it feel more specific is that. Let me know how this lands for you. Your genius is really helping people unlock personal power and clarity and energetic alignment through color energy. And I write that down and I'll.
Unknown
I'll put it in the chat.
Julie Solomon
But, like, how does that feel? Like, I just. To me, that's like simple. Boom. That's the, like, positioning statement.
Unknown
Yeah, I like it.
Julie Solomon
How does it feel to own that and just, like, let that be enough? Just like. And yes, other things can. Akashic records and like, other things can fall into that, but, like, really leading with the color energy. Because you said more than once that, like, people love that.
Unknown
Yeah. Yeah.
Julie Solomon
So that's your genius. I think your differentiation is that you don't just read color, but you actually teach people how to work with color as an activation tool in their life and their business and their own personal growth and expansion.
Unknown
Yeah.
Julie Solomon
So that's what makes it unique and different, and that's what makes it you. That's the uvp. And then instead of thinking that you need more authority and followers first, it's what I said before. You should actually build the authority through that specificity. So right now your messaging probably feels broad because whether you realize it or not, it's probably trying to appeal to a lot of people. And what you actually do, Heather, is very niche. But I think the more that you give yourself permission to be more specific with who you're meant to serve, the more magnetic that you're going to become and that the offer will become. So, for example, instead of you saying, I help people understand color energy, you could say, I help entrepreneurs, high achievers, visionaries, seekers, unlock their energetic codes through color so that they can make more aligned decisions. They can attract abundance, they can embody their highest self. They can fill in the blank, like, whatever is that core desire that you know, your ideal client has. That's what happens there.
Unknown
Yeah.
Julie Solomon
How does that feel?
Unknown
That feels good. I love the word visionaries, because, yes, I'm a very high achiever. I always have been at my job. And that's the people I want to attract, because they're the people that are going to get it. And the people that I have read for are like, wow, where have you been all my life? Kind of thing. I'm like, yeah, it's here. But that. That feels good to have that. I like that word.
Julie Solomon
And I think that you should, like, go all in on the color piece. Like, color is the missing link to visibility, to attraction, to magnetism, to all the things that your ideal client wants. And so you can position yourself as the expert on how color impacts all of those things. And it's ideal for visionaries, for coaches, entrepreneurs, creatives who want to attract more aligned opportunities in their life. And that's why I love color readings. It's the same people that love human design, that love the gene codes, that, like, you know, all the people that love to do those things. Like, we also love this because it gives us a sense of, like, purpose and clarity, and it gives us a moment to have, like, something be about ourselves, which. Who doesn't want to learn about themselves and be told things about themselves that they don't know? Right. Numerology, too. It's like, it's the same thing. People love it. To me, I think that that's what makes the most sense. And so instead of you leading with just color readings, it's about telling people that you help them access their most radiant, aligned, and powerful self using color as a tool.
Unknown
I like that you have a good way with words.
Julie Solomon
I do. It's. It's my genius.
Unknown
You really do.
Julie Solomon
Thank you. Glad. I'm glad I'm back.
Unknown
It's like I'm saying all these words. You just strung them together nicely.
Julie Solomon
Yeah. Messaging is my. Is my genius. And the other thing, too, the way that I think that you can connect the Akashic records, because some people, either they may not know what that is, or they may not know what that means or whatever. I think that you could frame it as color codes that reveal deeper layers of your soul's path. I know what Akashic records is because I've had those readings, but other people may not know what that is. But if they're attracted to the color piece, that's how you can infuse those two things together.
Unknown
So, yeah, that. That feels good.
Julie Solomon
That's the going back to, like, we need messaging, we need positioning, we need authority, we need visibility. The messaging and positioning piece, those are the ones that are the most important because they're the foundational pieces and they're Also the ones that we tend to have the hardest time rooting into. Because a lot of times we need coaching, we need guidance, we need conversations like this in order to map it out. But also too, as creatives and creators, a lot of times we focus on the external of like the visibility piece. How do I become more known? How do I get out there more? How do I get more followers? How do I create more content so I can attract more of the right people into my world? And it's like, that's all great, but if we don't have this messaging piece locked in and really more of what we've been talking about today, which is that positioning piece, we can't connect to our ideal client and most importantly, we can't grow sales. So that's, that's the big part. So once that positioning statement is clear, which we just talked about, then you're going to be able to create an offer or offers that flow. And so this is where Heather, you could, you could have a low ticket, you could have your Radiant Heart meditation. And this is the stepping stone for people that want to experience your work before investing in one on one. That low ticket can easily flow into a mid ticket offer which could be like a color code program or even like your, your three coaching session. It could be that right now. So the, your $44 radiant heart meditation leads into the 5, 5, 5 offer. And then if you wanted to do something higher ticket that's going to help you get out of your 9 to 5 because you need so much volume at $44 and $555 to actually like make a sustainable living, right? And you can get there but you need so much volume. And so in the meantime, before that volume's there, let's use those as stepping stones because they're there and they do work. But we need to create something high ticket because that's what's actually realistically the math has to math. So like that's what's going to get you the revenue that you need to have more of that creative space and expansion that you need to actually pivot out of the nine to five and pivot into what it is that you're doing. And that will take some time, but that's kind of from a positioning piece and an offer piece. That's what's missing. But instead of having these disconnected offers or really these offers that don't talk to one another, this is how we build the ecosystem. So the $44 Radiant Heart Meditation can flow into the three session coaching package. That could then flow into. Instead of just selling somebody another three session coaching package, once they're done with that, upsell them into a VIP or a group program with you. That's like fifteen hundred dollars plus. So I know that's a lot.
Unknown
Yeah.
Julie Solomon
But like that's.
Unknown
I want to do that. I do.
Julie Solomon
Right. But like that's the bigger picture that like I would love to support you in. And that's really like after TBA is really our messaging incubator, my accelerator program that I have, which is my four to six month coaching program, that's really where we start to root in on sales and positioning and like building out these offers and getting you to make the sales that you to actually have a sustainable coaching business. So that's, that can. That's like what's next in my offer suite when you're ready for that. But for now with the messaging piece, the more that you can root into that positioning into that messaging, the easier it is going to be for you to sell those other things now or in the future. What questions do you have?
Unknown
Well, I need to re. Listen to this because you have so many good sound bites. I'm gonna write them all down. Yeah, I think it's. Yeah. Just as I'm creating content with my authoritative messaging, that's sometimes where I get a little stuck because like I said, am I just being repetitive every time or. The one thing that helps it differentiate is say I like I just posted about or in my newsletter I sent out the color energy of the month, which is deep red. And so then I know maybe I need to talk more about that during the month. And I didn't mention I have a podcast as well. So I definitely hammer that home as well. So I've got all my things there. It's just like I need to catapult myself a bit more. So that's what differentiates is the color. But then as I get into speaking about or posting about Akashic guidance, that's where I feel like, oh, I'm getting a little too vanilla or something. Like it needs a little more.
Julie Solomon
What?
Unknown
And I think there's so many people. There's a lot of people. All right. People that I follow do it and I'm like, we all sound the same and I don't want to. I almost get deterred by it because I don't want to sound like everyone else.
Julie Solomon
Yeah, that's. That's always all of our red flags. Like I'm allergic to that. And when I it because it's like no one's reinventing the wheel. And it's like we're all on, you know, we're on social media with a sign being like, pay attention to me. You know, we're all doing it. But that's like the God wink to you that. It's like everyone else is zigging right now. You need to zag.
Unknown
Yeah.
Julie Solomon
And so that's when the piece of, like, instead of saying Akashic Records and either blending in or confusing people, you can frame it as. And this brings it back to the color piece, which is your genius, which is what you want to be known for, which is what people are buying and what they love. That's how you could infuse it. That's one idea. It's like you're talking about the color codes that reveal the deeper layers to your soul's path and, like, what that journey is and what it can teach you. But just sit with.
Unknown
Thank you.
Julie Solomon
Sit with those things and see how they land.
Unknown
Yeah. No, I mean, it's all just hearing you say it. I'm like, oh, I want to buy it.
Julie Solomon
Yeah.
Unknown
It's just me coming up with that and then really standing behind it.
Julie Solomon
And the authority that you're seeking comes from your own clarity first and then being able to share that. Not a follower count. So you can create the content that you're wanting to create. The content that's magnetic, the content that stands out, that positions you as a Go to expert just on color energy. And then you can show, like, you have clients already. So you could show real world applications of your work, case studies, color breakdowns, how color shifts energy, confidence, attraction. The one thing. So it's not your line of work, but I'm going to share it because it does really well on social media. People can figure out their colors of like, are you a soft summer? Are you a true winter? Are you a, you know, soft autumn? And that's what, you know, based off what you. That's what you should wear. You could kind of take your own spin on that because that type of content goes viral all the time. That's it. That stuff is always in my feed and it gets me every single time. What color is Rachel McAdams? What color is, you know, so and so. And it's like every single time I'm looking at that. So you could do your own take on that, but with the work that you do, that stuff is super, super juicy. And you could use content like that. Whether that's, you know, silly stuff about celebrities was just an example you could use your case studies from clients that you've had, and then that's what's leading people in to want to learn more. And it's also what's positioning your authority, positioning you as the go to expert in this.
Unknown
Yeah. I love it. It's a lot to think about and tweak.
Julie Solomon
Yes. But just sit with it first. Let it simmer. Here's some other. Like when you were talking, I was just. I'm playing around with some stuff. But take what we've talked about today back to the curriculum inside tba. Go back to the uvp. See how it's landing with what you've already come up with, and that will give you some clear direction and clarity on where to go. And then if that feels right, just stick with it. If. If it is true, Heather, that you help high achievers harness the power of color energy to unlock their fullest potential, magnetize opportunities, and create a life that reflects their highest self. Boom. That's it. That's all you got to do. Every single day, every single piece of content solves that problem. That's your compass.
Unknown
Okay.
Julie Solomon
All right.
Unknown
Yeah. Thank you.
Julie Solomon
You're welcome.
