Unlike what you've been told by most people, the secret to social media growth is not about posting more, it's about posting strategically. And yet most of you are not leveraging power and pleasure content to make that happen. And here's why. You are potentially making the fatal error that 90% of people do with their content strategy, which is sharing content that quite frankly, your audience does not care about. Power content is authority based content designed to establish and reinforce your credibility and expertise within your industry or niche. Pleasure content is desire based content crafted to tap into the wants, needs and aspirations of your audience. Now let's break this down even more. If you look at the way that I structure my content, and let's just take last month for example, because I used power and pleasure content with each post, those posts created over 3,000 engaged followers and over six figures in revenue in just a month. And I only posted 414 times on social media. And the reason was not because I was posting constantly, obviously. In fact, if you follow me, which you probably do, if you're watching this, you know that I don't flood my feed with content. There's rarely a time where there's back to back content. And if you're somebody that's sharing multiple times a day, or you're sharing 5,000 stories a day, you are most likely sharing a lot of unnecessary content that is actually decreasing your engagement, your reach and your visibility. And here's why. Your Instagram is the place that your power and pleasure content should come to life. Your posts, your carousels, your reels, your stories, they are the place that you attract and convert. Now, the biggest mistake that I see people making is that they are over sharing instead of utilizing power and pleasure content, and it immediately turns off potential followers, which obviously you don't want so if you're finding people being like, oh, your content's so amazing, it's so motivational, it's so inspirational, but they're not actually following or buying from you. Or if you notice that your engagement drops every time you post, you are likely not using power and pleasure content effectively. And that is what is making your engagement tank.

You learn how to post in this strategic way using the two frameworks, power and pleasure content, you will 10x your engagement and you will also 10x your sales from just your content. Because your content will resonate on both logical and emotional levels to your ideal buyers. Your views should not drop off. So if they are, you're either posting too much or you're not posting power and pleasure content. Or. Or you could be posting too much of one or the other. And I see this all the time with women in the online space not posting enough content or posting too much irrelevant content. Or they're going all in on the pleasure or all in on the power. But there's no balance. So your job, much like with every piece of content you share, is to have that intentionality and balance. Now the way that I do this is that I have a through line with every piece of content that I create, and it all stems from power and pleasure content. So I take photos and videos, I document things, but I don't overshare and I start with thinking strategically. And here's why. If you're constantly just posting without that strategic intention, you're basically wasting content that could create massive engagement for you. And I hate wasting content. So if you came at it from a power and pleasure lens instead of a oh, I'm just gonna throw throw this up there, then all of a sudden your content becomes valuable and you start to see a massive shift in the engagement and conversions that you want. And this happens fast, my friends. I do this in under like 10 to 15 pieces of content a month at most. So if you approach your content from this place immediately, you will increase your ability to actually convert followers into customers. And because now you're sharing with a clear purpose under why it matters to your audience. So then what happens is that you start to position your offers as the natural next step. Right now you're probably treating Instagram as a place for people to come and scroll through without a clear call to action. And it's hurting your engagement rather than helping it. People don't engage and buy from people in passive consumption mode. So you've got to get out of the post and pray mindset. And the way that you do that is by using power and pleasure content. And the best part of this is you don't actually need to post all the time. I don't share content daily, and yet I'm making a minimum of six figures every single month in my business using Instagram as a huge platform for that. This is exactly what I did last month and the month before and the month before. And most of that came from power and pleasure content, and it's just not in your feed. This also works for stories too. Instagram stories, they are a huge place to convert people. This is where you take your followers and you actually turn them into paying customers. When you create power and pleasure content, people cannot take their eyes off of you. When you're not strategic, you're not as interesting to watch, you're not as interesting to consume. So what we want to do is have people coming back to your profile every single day. And if you're currently over sharing, then what's happening is that you don't create the anticipation and the excitement necessary to keep people coming back. And this is where that sweet spot between power and pleasure content comes in. And when you use these frameworks correctly, you will start to instantly have increasingly high engagement. People will actually be coming to your profile, even if they don't currently follow you. This is where they start to find you. So when you are in your power and pleasure content flow, people will seek you out. And the way that you do this is by making people feel seen and understood because they're emotionally connected and invested in the content that you're creating.

Your ideal client might not buy from you today, but she's waiting for that next piece of content to invest in your offerings. So you want to keep her coming back for more, but you want to be really strategic around the types of content you share. And the easiest way to do this is with power and pleasure content. Here's an example. When you are creating your content using power and pleasure content frameworks, you'll be asking yourself, what purpose does this piece of content serve? Why should my ideal follower care? What's the message for her? How does this connect to her desires and needs? In the example that I shared earlier around the content that I shared last month, the reason those posts, those stories, those reels popped off the way that they did from an engagement and conversion perspective, is that I share shared powerful insights around my frameworks that I walk my clients through. That's an example of power content. I shared specific insights, really positioned my expertise and my authority in a powerful way, and then I linked it to my offers and I also gave people a behind the scenes into how it all works, how it all connects to them using stories and clients and my own personal journey of how I make it happen, AKA pleasure content. I had thousands in sales every day from just those posts alone because I shared power and pleasure content. And if you do that through using different formats, not just reels, not just stories, but every piece of content you create, and you do this through articulating and bringing your expertise in a different way than you would in just some random passive, casual posts that you're now posting night and day difference. Now of course I want to feel real and like a human. I share lifestyle content too. I share fun content too, like I did last week during my birthday trip to Costa Rica. But I don't live there. The goal isn't to be an influencer, it's to be a woman of influence. I'm here to show you my brilliance and to solve your problems. So everything that I share has got to be under the lens of what do you need to know? How does this help you? Even when I'm sharing my life, my kids, my family, my birthday, I'm still doing it through the lens of power and pleasure content. And this is the piece that most people don't understand. Now, I use highly repeatable frameworks in my content because I don't believe in wasting anything that mix between power and pleasure to keep people coming back for more specific ways that I sell specific offers using either client examples. My example storytelling, curiosity, marketing. There are very specific frameworks that I use that keep it interesting. So I don't live in one framework constantly, which is what most people do. But the frameworks that I do use are highly repeatable, which means it takes me 15 minutes each time I want to create a piece of content to do this, and even often I batch them so that they're done for the weeks or the month ahead and I don't even have to think about it for the rest of the day. This is how I get to spend very little time on social media and still create massive conversions, massive engagement, massive followers.
