Foreign. Welcome to Woman of Influence. I'm Julie Solomon, and this is where high level women come to recalibrate their

message, realign their leadership, and rise into

the next era of impact.

If you're ready to align your visibility with your true authority, if you're called to speak, speak to women at the level you now lead. If you're ready for your business to feel as elevated as the woman running it, this is your space. Because real influence isn't built in the algorithm. It's embodied in your identity. Let's get started. Hello, and welcome back. I am so glad that you are here for this one, because today I want to talk about something that I think is one of the most painful experiences in entrepreneurship, and it's also one of the least talked about things. I want to talk about what it feels like to have done everything right and still not have the thing that you've been working toward. I want to talk about the woman who has invested, who has shown up, who has done the programs and she's hired the coaches and she's implemented the strategies. She is genuinely committed to this and she has the receipts to prove it. And she is still here wondering what is missing. If that is for you, then this episode is for you. And I want to start by saying something that I mean completely sincerely. If this is you, you have not failed. And you are not missing something that's obvious out in the world that everyone else has figured out and somehow you haven't. What you are missing is something that almost nobody in this industry talks about. And it's something that lives at a layer underneath everything that you've been working on. And the reason it's been so hard for you to find it is not because you're not smart enough or not working hard enough or because somebody else has something that you don't. It's because you've been looking in the wrong place. So let me explain. Every program, every course, every coach, every mastermind that most of us have invested in, they tend to kind of operate at the same layer. And that layer is the strategy layer. Better hooks, better funnels, better copy, better content pillars, better ad strategy, better offer structure, better sales call strips. And those things are not bad. I mean, they are genuinely useful. We need all of those. The women teaching them too. They're often really brilliant and their methods work. I mean, I've invested in a lot of those myself, but they work at the surface and the work at the layer of what you say and how you say it and when you say it and what format you say it in, that's the layer that they're working on. But what none of them address, almost without exception, is who you're saying it as. And that is the identity underneath the message. And here's the thing about identity, and I know that it's like a big word that is now getting thrown around a lot, but the way that it relates to message and the way it really relates to me in the work that I do, is that your identity always runs the message. Always. You can change every single external element of your content. The format, the topic, the platform, the cadence, the posting schedule, the copy, the ads, the design. But if the identity underneath that has not shifted, if it's not shifted to speak to the premium buyer who is ready to buy from you, the message will always stay the same. And it's going to keep calling in the same buyer, the one who matches just the identity that the message is coming from, which is not the buyer that you want. So if that identity, for example, let's say that's a version of you from two years ago, and that version of you two years ago was still proving and still building and still trying to establish authority, then guess who the message is going to call in? It's going to call in the buyer who is still proving and still building and still trying to establish authority. And that person most likely is not going to be able to invest at all. Or if they are able to invest, they're going to need so much freaking convincing. They may be warm to your content, but they're just not ready for what you have. And if that identity is the version of you that is here right now, that is fully expressed fully in your authority, fully clear on who you are and who you're for, then the message, if it's coming from that place, then it's going to call in a completely different buyer. The one who arrives convinced, the one who doesn't negotiate, the one who refers her best friends. Now, the difference between those two buyers is the identity gap, and it's the layer that almost nobody has talked to you about. And I want to address something, because I know this can land in a way sometimes that maybe feels like blame, like, if the identity is the problem, well, aren't I the identity? Like, then somehow this is about who I am? And what does that mean? And is there something fundamentally wrong? No, absolutely not. Here's what's actually happening. You have grown significantly. You have done real work. You have crossed real thresholds, you have developed real expertise. And the woman you are Today is just genuinely not the woman you were when you built the business just straight up. But the thing is, the messaging hasn't caught up yet. So it's not because you're doing it wrong. It's because identity always moves faster than messaging and when growth happens in real life, because that's just what it does in your client work and personal development. In the private moments where you're figuring something out, the content is what you then put out into the world. And what you put out tends to kind of stay in the patterns that you created when you were in the building phase. So the gap is not this character flaw. It's not that like you and your identity as like your essence of who you are has to change. It's a timing problem. Your identity is already where you're going, but the message is still where you've been. And closing that gap consciously and deliberately, that is one of the highest leverage moves and honestly, lowest hanging fruit moves for you right now. That is such a low barrier of entry than, for example, having to like rewrite Your sales page 55 times or like burn your business down and create an entirely new offer or try to go after an entirely new audience, which is what most people do.

Now, I want to say something about all the investments that you've made, because I know for some of you here, there is a real flipping wound around this. Real money spent, real time invested, real hope that this would be the thing that finally moved the needle. And then when it didn't at the level that you thought it should have, when you did the work and implemented it, show up and the result wasn't what you expected. It just creates in all of us this very specific kind of discouragement. And it's one that makes you very cautious, and it's one that makes you wonder if anything is actually going to work. And I just want to validate that because it's real. I've been there too, and it's completely normal and okay to feel that. But I also want to just offer you a reframe every single investment that you've made that maybe didn't move the
A
needle the way that you hoped.
B
It taught you something. It built something different in you. It refined your thinking and your methodology and your understanding of your work. It showed you what you didn't want. But what it did not do was address the identity layer. And that's not a failure of the investment or of you. It's just the limit of whatever that level of work was able to give you. And it's at a time like you need strategy. So you've built it. The foundation is there now. What you need to do is not just layer more strategy on there. You just need to build the identity underneath it in order for it to catch up. Because until it does, the strategy, the ads, the brand, the trademarks, like, no matter how good it is, the podcast episodes, you will keep calling in the wrong buyer. You will keep requiring this need for you to convince. You'll keep matching growth and feel heavier every single time. And this is not a reason to stop investing in yourself. In fact, like, this is kind of the prerequisite when you come into my world. And that's the thing with me. Like, I honestly, this idea, it probably cost me six figures in sales easily each year in my business, because I don't sell hard. Like, there's a lot of people, because I don't sell people hard. That they'll be interested in my work, but then they'll go and they'll buy someone else's program because that person sells them differently. But like, I'm totally cool with that because most of the time what happens is that that person then comes back to me after, you know, they went and spent $15,000 on a social media agency, didn't really deliver what they needed because they're not working on this identity layer. Or they, you know, spent $5,000 a year in some membership and stayed in it for four years and they still don't have the right message, you know, or they invest in a $10,000 group coaching program, go through it, it's fine, but they still don't have the right message. They invest in a $30,000 mastermind met a lot of great people, grew as a person, still don't have the messaging through line. But that's honestly when I know that a woman is actually ready for my level of work and my level of support. Because that is the literal timeline of how a sophisticated businesswoman moves through her business. And that's like really the specific kind of woman that I work with. So you might even recognize yourself in this. Starting anything new, especially in our business, can be really exciting and also completely terrifying. If I'm being honest, I remember so many moments in my business when those what ifs would creep in. What if it doesn't work out? What if no one buys what if I'm a failure? What if, what if, what if? And for so many of you listening who are building physical product brands, those questions are so real. But I know that having the right platform behind you, helping you make those decisions can make the leap feel so much easier. And that is why I love Shopify. It is a commerce platform behind millions of businesses around the world and 10% of all e commerce in the US from household names to brands. Just getting started. I love Shopify. One of the reasons that Shopify has been such a long term partner of this podcast is that it helps you build truly a beautiful store with ready to use templates, create product descriptions and page headlines with their easy AI tools and just to be able to reach your customers through really simple email and social campaigns. They have it all. If those what ifs are currently keeping you stuck from making a move in your business, this is where Shopify can come in and help. It's time to turn those what ifs into with Shopify. Today you can sign up for your $1 per month trial today@shopify.com influencer go to shopify.com influencer. That's shopify.com influencer. Like the women that I work with, they have been in business three, five, seven years. They are incredible at what they do. Their clients get results, their testimonials are real, their expertise is deep. And she is that woman. She has invested significantly in growing her business. Coaches, programs, masterminds, agencies, retreats. A lot of it helped, some of it has been genuinely disappointing. But that's okay. She has a little bit of muscle now around being careful about what she invests in because she has this experience. She's been burned enough times, she's seen enough success. She's learned to wait, she's learned to do more research. She's learned to kind of make sure before she commits. But when I talk to women like this, and I do constantly, I hear and see the same thing. Content is smart. It's good. She knows her stuff. But it's still speaking from a version of her that literally no longer exists. Not the woman she is today, not the one who has all that experience and all those results and all that earned authority, but some earlier version, the one who still needed to over prove, over explain, who wasn't quite sure that she had earned the right to speak at the level that she actually operates at now. And because the message is coming from that place, even though that's not who she is, she literally attracts people who are at that place, people who need a lot of convincing, people who are, you know, kind of in these unconfident stages of their business. They're not that sophisticated. But when we shift that, when we literally close the gap between the woman that you are and the voice that your message is speaking from, that's when everything changes. That's when your buyers change. That's when the conversations change. That's when the revenue changes. That's when the content changes. And it's not because you learn a better strategy or because you hire an agency or you join a mastermind, but it's because you finally start speaking as the woman you actually are into the woman that you're meant to serve. And so here's the thing that I most want you to take from today's conversation. You don't have to keep doing work at the surface to fix a problem that lives underneath it. The hooks, the frameworks, the content, calendars, the cadence of posting, it's all important. It all matters. But none of that is going to close this specific gap on its own. It can't. It's not what it's hired to do. It's like going to the dentist for heart surgery. He can't help you. The gap closes when the identity underneath the message shifts and when your messaging stops speaking for who you were building toward and it starts speaking for who you actually are today and who you're meant to serve today. And that shift is absolutely available to you. It does not require starting over. It does not require a rebrand. It does not require a new offer or a bigger audience. It requires being seen clearly enough by someone outside of your own frame to finally close the distance that you literally cannot see from where you're standing. And that is between the woman you are and the voice that the world has been hearing from you. And that is the work. And it is a very different kind of work than what most of us have been doing in all of these other containers, even if those containers were very useful and helpful. But this is why I built the wealth expansion experience. We're happening on April 14th, 15th and 16th, three days free. Live with me, 11am Central, 90 minutes each day. I built this specifically for the woman who has done the work, but she still doesn't have that through line with her messaging. And she's ready to stop working at the surface layer and to finally address what's actually creating the ceiling. Day one, we're gonna find the message that you've been hiding and that voice that's been buried under years of strategy and optimization and just like strangling your content to death. Day two, we name the revenue gap. We identify exactly which identity your message is currently speaking from and who that's calling in and what that's costing you. And day three, we declare the next chapter. You're going to walk away with a messaging direction that reflects the woman you actually are right now and who you're meant to serve and how you're calling them in. It's three days. There's going to be three very distinct diagnostic tools for each day that you're going to get. If you want to join, the link is in the show notes. You can also go to juliesolomon.netwealth Save your seat. There will be a replay, so don't worry. I truly hope you can make it live because it's gonna be very expansive, but this is really important, so I'm gonna give you a replay. And I just wanna say something to the woman who has been investing in things and maybe, you know, it's gotten her to some place, but maybe she's still a little disappointed. Maybe she has a little bit of armor up around trying something new. I get it. And I'm not asking you to trust this three day experience because I say so. I'm just asking you to show up for three days, do the work, and let what happens in this room just speak for itself. And that's it. Like, you lose nothing by signing up for this and showing up and maybe watching some replays. You might actually find exactly what you've been looking for. All right, I'll see you April 14th and I'll see you on the next episode, same time, same place.
