Before launching a successful public relations career in Los Angeles, Yalana spent six years fronting a rock band in Russia, performing concerts, writing songs, and chasing the dream of a life in music. But when her career path shifted, music slowly faded into the background. For nearly a decade, she didn't write a single song.

Then something changed.

After years of helping other artists tell their stories, Yalana began reconnecting with her own. What followed was an unexpected creative awakening that led to more than twenty new songs, including her debut singles "Good Girl" and "I Am You, You Are Me."

During our conversation, Yalana shares her journey from Russia to Los Angeles, the pressures of being the "good girl," the power of therapy and self-discovery, and why it's never too late to return to your true self.
