do gay men wear women's perfume? My wife asked me that the other day.
Co-host/Producer
They may wear it, but they'll never date it.
It's a hell of a question.
John Clay Wolf
It is a hell of a question. And then the lesbians wear men's cologne. 800-817-34. 800, 800 radio.
Caller/Guest
And we're off.
John Clay Wolf
I mean, really.
Co-host/Producer
But these are questions that need to be answered.
John Clay Wolf
These are questions.
Co-host/Producer
Quite aware.
John Clay Wolf
I've thought about a lot of things on the spectrum and maybe I'm on the spectrum a little bit, but I've never thought of that. What do you think?
Co-host/Producer
I have no absolute clue, first of all, where this came from.
John Clay Wolf
My wife asked me.
Co-host/Producer
Okay, but where did it come from in her mind?
John Clay Wolf
First, she's pretty funny. Yeah. Okay. She just says random stuff.
Co-host/Producer
Okay, that's random.
Caller/Guest
That's pretty random.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah.
Co-host/Producer
I'm going to guess.
John Clay Wolf
Well, I'll tell you what. What brought it up? Yesterday morning, I'm leaving the house wearing Chanel number five. And.
Co-host/Producer
Sorry.
John Clay Wolf
And I put on cologne.
Co-host/Producer
Okay.
John Clay Wolf
That she bought me. Bought for me, Purchased for me.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
And when I'm leaving, she's like, who are you putting that on for?
Co-host/Producer
Oh, jeez.
John Clay Wolf
Who are you putting that on for? And you, baby. I was like, I wear a cologne every once in a while. I mean, kind of a lot. So what?
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
Okay.
Co-host/Producer
Who are you showering for? Why are you combing your hair?
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
Why are you coming here? Why brush your teeth?
Co-host/Producer
Why do you brush your teeth?
Caller/Guest
I don't know why that's.
Co-host/Producer
That smell.
It struck me so funny.
John Clay Wolf
But. But it just. It just. It just brought up this whole cologne conversation.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
And she wants me to buy her some expensive perfume.
Co-host/Producer
Sure. Sure. And that's. You really should.
John Clay Wolf
Oh, thank you.
Co-host/Producer
You. I mean, come on, you gotta do that. Get on it.
John Clay Wolf
Because she said it's too expensive for her to buy.
Co-host/Producer
Oh, Lord.
John Clay Wolf
And she needs it as a gift. But I'll give her this. She's pretty low maintenance.
Co-host/Producer
Is she?
John Clay Wolf
Oh, dude. Oh, God. I mean, my ex wife.
Co-host/Producer
Here we go.
John Clay Wolf
A was expensive.
Co-host/Producer
I bet.
John Clay Wolf
I bet the good news is she was carrying her own bag, right? A lot.
Co-host/Producer
Yes.
John Clay Wolf
Because her old man had a little something so she had a monthly allowance set up in a trust.
Caller/Guest
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
I'm like, that money is for you to go spend on yourself.
Co-host/Producer
Knock it out.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah.
Co-host/Producer
What a problem solver, man.
John Clay Wolf
But, like, we would have gotten divorced earlier than we did had that not been the setup, the first one.
Caller/Guest
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
I mean it.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
Because women can be expensive.
Co-host/Producer
Yes. Low maintenance.
John Clay Wolf
Mike in Wichita, Kansas. Okay, good.
Caller/Guest
Yeah, I can, I can. 100%. Lesbians wear cologne.
John Clay Wolf
Men's cologne. How do you know? You don't sound like a lesbian.
Caller/Guest
No, my stepdaughter is a lesbian, and I get her cologne every year for Christmas.
John Clay Wolf
And does she thank you or does she take offense?
Caller/Guest
Oh, yeah.
John Clay Wolf
How old. How old is she?
Caller/Guest
She's 22.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah. On a scale of 1 to 10. And I know it's your stepdaughter, so it's like you can't say that, but. But you can, you know, tell us,
Caller/Guest
like, she's a butch lesbian. Okay.
Co-host/Producer
Answered that, didn't he?
John Clay Wolf
Yeah.
Co-host/Producer
So that's a two or three.
John Clay Wolf
Well, I mean, it's just depending. I, I. Beauty's not the beer holder. Well, and, and does she live with y'?
Caller/Guest
All? She's not overweight or, or anything like that. And wear flannel shirts, but she's just like. She just dresses like a boy. Yeah, well, which isn't attractive for most,
John Clay Wolf
but that's not what she's trying to be attractive for, so it doesn't matter. But I'm glad that you. She might think you're a butch stepdad. I'm just trying to. Yeah, probably just point, counterpoint. I'm just taking up for her side. I said the way you said she don't even. The way you said butch was just
Caller/Guest
so dry that I think that's the right term.
John Clay Wolf
Well, go look up and call us back. 8008-0072-3480-0800 radio. What's in the news, J.D.
Co-host/Producer
we got post Malone. He's going to headline the World cup final closing ceremonies on Sunday. This is going to be a big deal. Actually got Jennifer Hudson's there, Robbie Williams, several others. And this is an odd addition to the musical lineup. Tom Cruise. People are saying, what in the world is. Yeah. Tom Cruise going to do? Well, you do remember he did sing you never close your eyes anymore in Top Gun. Remember that?
John Clay Wolf
Right.
Co-host/Producer
He also did a little Instagram post about a year ago. Cut, number nine. Michael.
John Clay Wolf
You know, I do all my own stunts, obviously. I also do my own music, and people are surprised that I'm a big Dave Matthews.
Christina Lang
Guy.
John Clay Wolf
Speaking of women's cologne,
Caller/Guest
Of course, I
John Clay Wolf
don't sing as good as him, but I could probably beat him up in a fight.
Co-host/Producer
I could beat him up in a fight.
John Clay Wolf
Is that really him?
Co-host/Producer
I would write, that's really Tom Cruise.
Yeah, that's not bad.
That was not bad at all, really.
I mean, this is Dave right here. It had that cadence.
Caller/Guest
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah, that was Tom Cruise.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah, it really was.
John Clay Wolf
Can you start it over?
Caller/Guest
That's really.
John Clay Wolf
You know, I do all my own stunts.
Co-host/Producer
Obviously, I searched a deal and he did, like, a lip sync with Jimmy Fallon. But this is actual singing.
Caller/Guest
A big Dave Matthews guy.
John Clay Wolf
You got your ball, you got your chain tight.
Too many.
Tight, tight. Have you ever seen Dave Matthews, like, get into his groove when he starts, like, really grooving, like, being kind of weird, like a Grateful Dead dance?
Co-host/Producer
No.
Yeah. I've been to many Dave shows.
John Clay Wolf
There's really no reason for him to come that unhinged on that type of music. It's like he's over. Yes. Like, that kind of very good comparison.
Co-host/Producer
He's feeling it.
John Clay Wolf
I like it.
Co-host/Producer
But you can overdo it. Joe Cocker overdid it.
John Clay Wolf
So I'm in Nantucket, Massachusetts, 1993. Friend of mine visiting my folks. They stayed up here a lot because they're from Connecticut and 93.
Co-host/Producer
Okay.
John Clay Wolf
These friends of mine said, we need to go to the Muse tonight and watch this band. They're great. They play on the east coast to colleges and stuff. And, like.
Caller/Guest
All right.
John Clay Wolf
So I go with them, and we get to this bar, and there's a big bus outside. So I guess they took the bus over on the ferry.
Co-host/Producer
Yep.
John Clay Wolf
And watch this act. They're great. Grabbed their cd, took it back to Texas, put it on the jukebox at my bar. I'm in college at the time, and I had a bar. Good morning, New York City.
Caller/Guest
Right.
John Clay Wolf
And they're like, what? It's Dave Matthews. Right. Remember two things. Put it on the jukebox. Played a few songs because it was a complete new audience in Texas at the TCU campus. Nobody ever heard Dave Matthews. So I'm playing some songs to see if it burns in. And it caught on. And then the kids started going over and selecting that song.
Caller/Guest
Wow.
John Clay Wolf
In those. That album.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
And I mean, it really caught on. And, like, who's this and where you get this? And they start calling, and so we're booking bands. I call Frank Riley at Monterey Peninsula artist and say, frank, you need to book Dave Matthews through Texas. And he said, john, Dave Matthews Is just like Fish. They're the hardest working band on the East Coast. They'll never be more than a regional act. They're never coming to Texas. So about. Hello, six months later, he called me and said, hey, Dave Matthews wants to come to Texas. And so I booked him for my room. And by the time they got. So I had the date and Dallas, Fort Worth. And by the time they got here, they were too big for our room, so I had to switch it and I leased out the bomb factory.
Co-host/Producer
I remember it very well.
John Clay Wolf
In Deep Ellum.
Co-host/Producer
Deep Ellum.
John Clay Wolf
And that sold out in five minutes.
Co-host/Producer
Wow, you got really ahead of the curve there.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah, Ahead of the wave. And it was all because of men's cologne. No, it wasn't men's cologne, really, but.
Co-host/Producer
Okay, if you say so in your mind, if that's how it worked.
John Clay Wolf
But yeah, it was. It was. But it was just so funny to hear his pitch, how they were just, you know, there will never be a national. Like, isn't there a Dave Matthews channel on SiriusXM?
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
I mean, he's got a big catalog.
John Clay Wolf
Is he the Pink Floyd of that. That's a bad comparison.
Co-host/Producer
Let me.
John Clay Wolf
Let me change that out. Who is he comparing?
Co-host/Producer
Grateful Deadish type. Like he's got that kind of following. Following. Not the same type of music. There's a. He's a jam band, right? Yeah, it's that type of following. There's a lot. There's no cologne in that audience, I can tell you that. I've been there many of times that.
Right?
Caller/Guest
Oh, yeah.
Co-host/Producer
No cologne there.
Caller/Guest
Air free.
Co-host/Producer
No cologne tour.
Caller/Guest
Yes.
John Clay Wolf
Is Fish still doing their thing?
Co-host/Producer
Yeah, yeah. I mean, that's. Yeah, that bill would be.
John Clay Wolf
That would build that.
Co-host/Producer
Would there be a lot of weed there? Yeah, that bill. And again, no cologne.
John Clay Wolf
Have you ever smoked weed at a concert?
Co-host/Producer
Yes, of course. Why you have to be at a Dave Matthews show that.
John Clay Wolf
Will you go talk to the HR lady on Monday? I didn't know this. This changes everything.
Co-host/Producer
Changes everything.
John Clay Wolf
Everything. And we will be right back. Good morning, New York City. Q104. We'll be right back with the Lightning round. And what the lightning round is, is where you call in with your car. Because this show is brought to you by America's best car buyer. GiveMeTheVin.com and you've got a call in to sell us. If you got a Ferrari sitting in the parking garage in Manhattan that you're paying $3,000 a month for for the spot and you're tired of it and you're 68 or 78 or 88 years old. It's just sitting there. Even if it doesn't start, I'll buy it. Call in 800-800-7234. Got a transport service right on the other side of the bridge. We can pick it up. Connecticut. Go up there all the time. Get them. Jersey. 8008-0072-3480-0800 radio. My name is john clay wolf and I hang on real quick. Tommy in astoria, New york. What do you got real quick?
Caller/Guest
Hi, I just want to give a shout out from astoria and said that I love the butch lesbian comment that we have to love everyone the same. And I'm also celebrating my new job as a kidney nutritionist in New York.
John Clay Wolf
Perfect. Thank you. Tommy in new york, do you have a Ferrari sitting in the parking garage in New York city?
Caller/Guest
I don't. I have a junkie 2010 Yaris. If you want one of those.
John Clay Wolf
I do. Go to givemetheven.com and load it up. And if you have something you like to call in with right now, call in 8008-0072-3480-0800, 7234. 800, 800 radio. Yes, it's live. Yes, it's 7:10 or 7:15 in the morning. Saturday morning. We're here calling right now. 800, 800 radio. Average, rough, clean year, make, model, miles. We'll be right back after this song.
Now back to the John clay wolf show presented by Kim.com. hit him up right now. 1, 800, 800, radio. 1800, 800 radio. This is the John clay wolf show.
Mini Cooper. Danbo, are you there?
Caller/Guest
Yes. What have you.
John Clay Wolf
What have you got?
Caller/Guest
I got a 2006 Mini Cooper. 104,000 miles. It's five speed and the clutch has gone.
John Clay Wolf
So how long has it been parked?
Caller/Guest
Four years.
John Clay Wolf
What do you drive now?
Caller/Guest
My personal car. I got a 2019 Mini Countryman.
John Clay Wolf
What's all that noise in the background? Is that the clutch rattling potholes?
Caller/Guest
No, this is my work van. I'm driving to work and it's just the roads in New York are horrible.
John Clay Wolf
Where are you? Where in New York are you?
Caller/Guest
I live just outside. I live in westchester, but I work in the city, so. So the car. The car is in osatine.
John Clay Wolf
Is. I mean, are those the shelves rattling in the background? Is that what I'm hearing?
Caller/Guest
That's what you're hearing yes.
John Clay Wolf
And what do you drive? Like Saturday morning, you're in your work van. What are you going to go work on?
Caller/Guest
I'm on call for all the escalators. My company takes care of them.
John Clay Wolf
All right. Does the mob, does the mob control the escalator concessions in, in the city? The corporations do same thing, maybe worse. Maybe worse.
Caller/Guest
My company, my company was number three worldwide. They just bought the number four company. Now they're the number one company. And the number two company's now pushed down to number three, and they're not happy about it.
John Clay Wolf
And what do they pay an escalator technician? And do you get double? Do you get overtime on Saturdays?
Caller/Guest
I do get overtime on Saturdays, yes.
John Clay Wolf
But like an escalator technician that has to commute into the city. We're in Texas. I don't know if you know that. So I'm asking this sincerely. I'm not trying to be a smart ass. Like a working man's job doing what you're doing, what's that bring home a year?
Caller/Guest
I work a lot overtime. I've been doing it for 40 years. So, you know, I make. I make good six figures, like a buck 20. My best year was 200.
John Clay Wolf
All right, and does that cover. Does that, does that cover everything or does that keep it, you know, living up there? Does that leave you money? Left over a little bit.
Caller/Guest
But, you know, the gentleman from Connecticut knows how expensive Westchester county is.
John Clay Wolf
Sure, I hear you.
Caller/Guest
Where are you? Sit here in Dallas?
John Clay Wolf
Yes. Yeah, I mean, the show is nationwide and my mom, she's buried up in the. In Greenwich in the Greenwich cemetery.
Caller/Guest
Okay, so live anywhere near White Rock Lake?
John Clay Wolf
I used to go to school right
Caller/Guest
there when I was a kid. I lived right off of the Creek bar to White Rock Lake. I was in fourth grade and we used to have these ice storms that would cover everything.
John Clay Wolf
Yep. Well, I. Back to your Mini Cooper. So you know what it takes to fix things because you could fix this yourself if you can fix escalators. And you could fix those shelves in the back too, if you wanted to, but I mean.
Caller/Guest
Well, I just need more stuff to put on them. It's a new van I just started with this company.
John Clay Wolf
Will you, will you fix it for me or. I need to only. I can only give you. I can only give you a thousand bucks for that car unless you can get it fixed.
Caller/Guest
I understand. Because the clutch repair is. I would take a thousand, but you definitely would have to flatbed it because.
John Clay Wolf
Okay, well, then go to givemetheven.com. load it in. Tell them I bought it from you for 1000. Is the paint okay?
Caller/Guest
It's a city car. It needs a little touch up on the exterior.
John Clay Wolf
So I'm seeing the visual in my head now from my new friend in New York in Westchester. And I think the whole thing's faded. I think the paint's gone rust. Is that.
Caller/Guest
It's not. It's not. It's not. Well, it's not completely faded.
Christina Lang
I mean, it is.
Caller/Guest
It is.
John Clay Wolf
We're somewhere between. We're between 500 and 1,000. Get me some pictures.
Caller/Guest
Pictures.
John Clay Wolf
I'll get it picked up. I will come pick it up. Because you know what it cost me? You know what it cost me to send a flatbed to you? Right. A lot hell is this, but. Well, I mean, you're a service guy. You're running around. If I wanted. If I wanted you to come, if you're driving a wrecker, what would it cost to go pick it up? 400, 500 up there?
Caller/Guest
A lot. I don't know. That's not. That's not my.
John Clay Wolf
I know, but you're a smart guy. You know what it costs.
Caller/Guest
I'm sure it costs probably just to pick it up in that mileage.
John Clay Wolf
Right?
Caller/Guest
All right.
John Clay Wolf
Go to givemetheven.com. i'll get it picked up.
Christina Lang
All right.
John Clay Wolf
Thanks, Danbo. My name is John Clay Wolf by cars. Cheap little junk cars. This morning on the radio for America's best car buyer. That is far from a Ferrari. A yeah. 30 year old Ferrari sitting in a parking garage in Manhattan. That was not what I was envisioning when I threw my. When I cast my bait out into the ocean.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah, that's not.
John Clay Wolf
But it's fine. We love everybody.
Co-host/Producer
And man, did you give a lot for that.
John Clay Wolf
Be right back. An epidemic is sweeping across our once
Caller/Guest
great nation and its name.
John Clay Wolf
The John Clay Wolf Show.
Obviously, I'm transgender.
Co-host/Producer
Relax.
John Clay Wolf
I'm not happy about it either. I wasn't even supposed to be on this show.
Co-host/Producer
But then Mamdani got elected and
John Clay Wolf
I know it's required now. One per show. It's. It's crazy. Of course.
Co-host/Producer
I know.
John Clay Wolf
I wasn't even trans two weeks ago. I was smashing like you guys.
Right?
Yeah, I know, right? We had some good times, didn't we? Give me the vet.
The John Clay Wolf Show. America's largest weekend morning show. 800, 800 radio. Check out the podcast@jcwshow.com.
morning, everybody. Good morning, New York. It is early. Get your ass up. Get to work. For the People living the dream that's just rolling out of that chick's bed. It's about time to head on home.
Co-host/Producer
Find your way home, baby Go back
John Clay Wolf
to your wife and kids Find your way back Find your way back to your wife and kids. DJ Lockjaw. We. We have a friend in the studio named DJ Lockjaw. And DJ I. What is like, is TMJ where your jaw locks up? Because I've been having a little oddity lately where my jaw is feeling weird. Oh, yeah, you got it,
Co-host/Producer
Y'.
Caller/Guest
All.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
How do you get it? Oh, hey, you get to you today. You got parasite,
Co-host/Producer
parasite diarrhea.
John Clay Wolf
You know what I'm saying? I do know what you're saying. Yeah. Yeah. So do you have any new raps for us or you need a beat or anything?
Co-host/Producer
Give you a beat if you want to hear it.
John Clay Wolf
Do you want. Oh, I always want to hear it, but do you need a beat? I don't know what you're saying. What can I take when. When my jaw starts locking up? You could take. Or you smoke a big old blunt. Smoke a big old blunt. Thank you, DJ Lockjaw. Holla.
Co-host/Producer
God.
John Clay Wolf
Hey, homeschool. Are you there, homeschool? Kyle?
Co-host/Producer
Yes.
John Clay Wolf
When you're writing what's coming up next on the stream, make sure you check your spelling.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah, I didn't notice that.
John Clay Wolf
Well, I know that you're from a rural town and you're a little bit. You're homeschooled in the illiteracy. Does it run rampant in your family? No, we're good. Okay. Cuz male is M A I L, not M A. I understand if you throw. If you script a. A hard word, but this. That's not a hard word.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah, it was just a misclick.
John Clay Wolf
So are you going. You know, and this is what I get from saving a buck and hiring a junior in high school.
Co-host/Producer
He's great.
John Clay Wolf
Are you.
Are you gonna be a senior this year?
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
What are you gonna do after high school?
Co-host/Producer
Either trade school or, I don't know, something.
John Clay Wolf
What kind of trade school? Something with tech.
Co-host/Producer
Like it.
John Clay Wolf
Thinking you're such a good mechanic, if you want to make money, be a diesel mechanic. I'm telling you the truth. Diesel mechanics are few and far between. You know, all these Power Strokes and Cummins trucks and all these diesel trucks up and down the road. Those guys like that are like a level 3 diesel tech at a dealership. They get paid. I don't know, is it $50 a flag hour?
Co-host/Producer
Damn.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah. Yeah. And that's A job that AI won't replace.
Co-host/Producer
Well, AI doesn't build itself either.
John Clay Wolf
It doesn't build the infrastructure it runs on. It doesn't do any of it. And that's a. I mean, I've just watched your technical skills. When we have mechanical issues that can't get cracked, we grab the kid and he knocks it out half the time. See, you've already got it in your bones. That's my suggestion. So for whatever it's worth, maybe. Okay, thank you. Learn how to spell when you're in. When. When you're in trade school. Take a spelling class on the side.
Co-host/Producer
Oh, come on.
John Clay Wolf
All right, all right. 800-800-7234.
Co-host/Producer
For those folks that don't know, that's@jcwshow.com where you can watch the actual stream and see where misspellings happen.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah, so we. We have cameras in the studio and we stream it live on YouTube@jcwshow.com and that's how this works. Been doing it for a minute, JD Evening news. Many news. Oh, yeah, we do that in New York City.
Co-host/Producer
New York City, they love events. They love the President Trump, don't they? During Thursday's primetime address that only a couple of networks actually carried, President Trump said the White House has posted documents on its website whitehouse.gov that claims they are previously classified documents exposing who exactly was in the middle of the 2020 election and who got, you know, 2024 election anyway. Who might be responsible for the election interference. Cut number two, Michael. The documents show that the People's Republic
Caller/Guest
of China carried out what is believed
Co-host/Producer
to be the largest compromise of election data in history over a period of years starting during the 2020 election cycle. Compounding the travesty, members of the deep state, very, very famous group of people, many cases in our intelligence agency work to actively suppress and downplay information about the extent of China's sinister election meddling.
Wow. So mainly China.
Yeah, China.
Well, that's refreshing.
China did it. Okay, China.
What'd they do?
Interfered with the election coverage.
John Clay Wolf
They got him elected.
Co-host/Producer
And they got him elected.
John Clay Wolf
No, don't vote there.
Co-host/Producer
They tapped.
John Clay Wolf
Hang on. We got the Chinese news update real quick. I see where you're going. Where?
Co-host/Producer
Going to pouring price polling place. Don't vote there.
Caller/Guest
No.
Co-host/Producer
Where, where, where should I vote?
John Clay Wolf
You should vote at Tom Poppies. Tom Poppies.
Co-host/Producer
Tom Poppies.
What is that?
That's real place on the corner.
Oh, it's on the place on the corner. That's where we should go.
You get ramen?
Get ramen.
Beautiful afternoon, dirty, mountainous.
But it's not an official voting place, is it?
It tastes good for your mouth.
Okay? Yeah.
Caller/Guest
And you vote.
Co-host/Producer
I want you vote there.
Caller/Guest
You can vote.
John Clay Wolf
We'll be right back. 8008-0072-3480-0800 radio. I'd like to hear from you. Do you think for real that there's election meddling? Do you think it's manipulated? I want to hear it from you. 800-800-7234. Yeah, we're live. 800, 800 radio. If you can't spell out 800800 radio on your phone, then you shouldn't be allowed to vote. Unless you're blind. Unless you're blind, then that's different. That's fair. That's fair. Yeah. Isn't that fair?
Co-host/Producer
That's very fair.
John Clay Wolf
I'm trying to be fair.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
I want to hear from you. Do you believe that it's conspiracy or fact on the election meddling? 8008-0072-3480-0800 radio will be right back after this song. My name is John Clay Wolf. This is John Clay Wolf Show. Good morning, New York City.
Back to the John Clay Wolf show, presented by givemethevin.com Now, John Clay Wolf.
Caller/Guest
Morning, everybody.
John Clay Wolf
When we left a moment ago, we were just talking about Trump, talking about China rigging elections. I was wanting to hear from you guys about do you think the election rigging, digital election rigging or social media influence election rigging is real? Ryan, you know, asked you to call in. Ryan, are you in South Carolina or you in New York?
Caller/Guest
Yes, sir. South Kakalaki, buddy.
John Clay Wolf
South Kakalaki.
Caller/Guest
Yes, sir.
John Clay Wolf
So our elections rigged?
Caller/Guest
Yes, sir. I think they are. I think they're, they're manipulated enough to where it needs to be investigated. People need to go to jail.
John Clay Wolf
Star in Pennsylvania, where are you listening to us from?
Christina Lang
From Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
John Clay Wolf
We're not on in Pittsburgh yet. That's the next hour.
Caller/Guest
Yeah, well, I'm here.
Christina Lang
I hear you.
Caller/Guest
I got you on Facebook.
John Clay Wolf
Oh, you're watching us on the stream. Gotcha, gotcha, gotcha, gotcha. So our WDVE listeners, how we must have met you, star.
Christina Lang
And I love your share. Jcw. I'm glad you're on. And I gotta tell you, that poor soul we have down in Washington, D.C. running our country is really mentally disturbed.
Caller/Guest
He'll never get over losing the election
Christina Lang
after only four years.
Caller/Guest
And it's sad. It's sad. But he's hurting. His brain is screwed up.
John Clay Wolf
Do you think he and Melania still have Sex? Seriously? Well, I mean, she's a pretty tall drink of water. I mean, if he's getting a. If he's getting to hit that twice a week, then we might be all the ones that are mentally disturbed because he's got something figured out that we don't.
Caller/Guest
Well, that guy who's just never going to forget this now, John in Kansas City. Hey, have you ever seen that movie Games in New York?
John Clay Wolf
Yep. Leonardo DiCaprio?
Caller/Guest
Well, the election scene in that movie is. That's how elections have been in this country ever since
John Clay Wolf
Lyndon Johnson proved that. Did you ever see the. The rigging he did in Texas?
Caller/Guest
LBJ, he told the rigging they did in 1960 for Kennedy. I mean. Yeah, it's been. Just been like that forever, right?
John Clay Wolf
Was it China back then, William? And where do you live, William?
Caller/Guest
Greenwich, Connecticut.
John Clay Wolf
Good morning.
Caller/Guest
Stanford area.
John Clay Wolf
Sure.
Caller/Guest
Good morning. I just want to say, my belief is without question, this man learned from a guy who was a very famous lawyer many years ago by the name of Roy Cohn. He was the attorney in the McCarthy hearings. And his motto is, never admit anything that's going to hurt you. And this man, our president, has, in my opinion, followed his creed, Roy Cohen's creed, to the nth degree. And that, for me, always explains everything. When he was first running, he would say, where's my Roy Cone? Well, there it is. I don't know how many people listening know of Roy cone, but it's spelled C O H N. And they could look him up. He was the attorney on the McCarthy hearings.
John Clay Wolf
Thank you. Thank you, William. Thank you for calling. There was muddling.
Co-host/Producer
I really like the actor that played him in that movie, the Apprentice. He was on. What was it called, man? The big HBO show with the rich guys. Little McCaulkin Jr. Oh, secession. Yeah, yeah. Succession.
John Clay Wolf
800-800-7, 2, 3, 4. That's the. I'm sorry, I need to just plug it in there. 8008-0072-3480-0800 radio. Yep. Phones are live. We're live. Secession.
Co-host/Producer
The TV show, Succession. Remember the old guy, you know, and he's trying to decide who's gonna get
John Clay Wolf
the money, take it.
Co-host/Producer
Take the company when he dies.
John Clay Wolf
The Rupert Murdoch characters, who that is.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah, exactly.
John Clay Wolf
That's what they shaped it around.
Caller/Guest
Yeah.
Co-host/Producer
He's got the daughter and the two sons and Little. Who's the other McCulkin kid, Culkin.
He won an Oscar.
He did, yeah. Yeah. Love that show, Succession. I think I've seen it three times
through since we're on the East Coast. You guys seen this? I'm sure you have. Thick, billowing smoke from the wildfires. Canada and northern Minnesota. Dark in the skies, in the Great Lakes. And of course, in New York. More than 120 million people across dozens of states render air quality alerts. And the New York City Mayor Mandavi talked about the issue during a press conference. It'll be cut number 10, Mike.
John Clay Wolf
At unhealthy levels, everyone, not just people with asthma and heart conditions, not just older adults. Everyone may feel health effects.
Co-host/Producer
Very serious, Very serious on that part of the gun. In fact, it's so serious. Maybe this is a little insensitive for us to bring up, but maybe.
Oh, what do you mean?
John Clay Wolf
I like insensitive.
Co-host/Producer
Oh, you're gonna like this then. Good. Wouldn't it be better if this smoke was from a giant bonfire of dope like it was when this BBC reporter was doing a report? Cut number 10.2.
Caller/Guest
Burning behind me is 8 and a half tons of heroin, opium, hashish and other narcotics.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
Caller/Guest
Burning behind me. Quick, quick, quick, quick. We just need one more.
Co-host/Producer
I love this beginning.
John Clay Wolf
Keith Richards is in the studio with us. Keith, do you smoke or do you inject heroin?
Co-host/Producer
I haven't injected heroin in decades. It's been a long time. Right, but you haven't got to do that anymore. I learned from Eric.
You all right?
It's better if you snort it. Now, the problem with that is.
John Clay Wolf
Right, Yeah.
Co-host/Producer
A lot of people, like ZZ Top drummer Philly Beard or whatever his name is.
I don't think it's Philly Beard.
He said it's more cost effective to shoot it, but that becomes a higher addiction. So to get the more bang from your. Your opium dollar, shoot it. But if you snort it, you still get the same effect, but it takes a lot more bo. Eric Clapton and I always add that kind of money.
Yeah, Yeah.
I don't know about Philly Beard.
Caller/Guest
Right?
Co-host/Producer
It's great drummers.
John Clay Wolf
What the hell did he just say?
Co-host/Producer
Right?
Talking about season tops drummer.
You're asking Keith Richards. Come on.
Don't shoot it. Once you shot it, you'll never. For one, you'll never be a cop in dc.
John Clay Wolf
Oh, that's true.
Co-host/Producer
You'll forget how to. How to clean a chicken. So you'll never. You'll never have the leg and Thor separation that we enjoy in the Western world.
Christina Lang
Okay?
Co-host/Producer
Also, hookers will not talk to you
if you shoot heroin.
You shoot heroin?
That's right.
Really? Why?
That's right? I don't know, but they Wouldn't talk to me until 1974. And that's the only coincidence I could find about it. And I asked Mick, you know what Mick said? Mick said, you know, Keith, I think you're right. So there you go. Here's your opium education,
don't you?
Caller/Guest
Rock and roll.
John Clay Wolf
Keith Richards, everybody. World cup final weekend, Spain versus Argentina tomorrow. Yeah, you know, I'm. I'm so pissed off that Norway's out. I'm just a little turned off. I got, I got spun up in all that Norway crap.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
Cuz your wife.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah, but he was just. Harlan kind of won the hearts over of America.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
And he's just a cool, He's a cool dude.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
And then he just walks around and he's kicks in a goal. I don't know. I just make goals. I just make goals. How do you do it? I just done it. I've always done it. You know, he just kicked the ball and you watch him on the replays. He's walking around and then like five seconds before he makes a goal, he actually wakes up and makes a goal. I mean, go.
Co-host/Producer
He's very McCartney esque about it, you know, pow. Put it in his head.
John Clay Wolf
Hello fellows.
Co-host/Producer
Or they would say he's messy like because that's what Messi does, right? Same thing.
John Clay Wolf
He's storing his energy.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah, they wait for the opportunity, they find the opportunity and then we just make girls.
John Clay Wolf
We'll be right back with more of the John Clay Wolf Show. It's a good thing to tune into because we're so good. We just make goals, you know, we just, we just win. We just win. And we will be joining more stations here in a moment. New York City, hang tight, everybody else is coming aboard. Pittsburgh, I think whole east coast, this, this network's like 120 stations will be right back to join them. Hang tight.
Co-host/Producer

So I went and saw Rush last Saturday with my 19 year old son yes. And they were great. Their new drummer, Anika. Na, she's wonderful. Anika Viless or something. Anyway, near Neil Peart's replacement.
Co-host/Producer
I heard she's got the goods.
John Clay Wolf
She's got the goods. And she's good looking. And it's a woman and she's German, so it all. Is she blonde, so it's just cool. How old is she?
Co-host/Producer
Like. Oh, 40s. Okay.
John Clay Wolf
Maybe 35. Yeah. She could play the skins. I mean, that's a pretty hard job to replace Neil Peart.
Co-host/Producer
Oh, man. Yeah.
Yeah.
The world's greatest rock drummer.
John Clay Wolf
Right. She didn't miss a lick. She didn't. And what's weird about her is she a little more effortlessly than he, really, if that's imaginable.
Co-host/Producer
He made it look pretty easy.
John Clay Wolf
She does too.
Co-host/Producer
Really?
John Clay Wolf
Yeah. If you're a Rush head and you're debating on going to see them, which you probably aren't, because if you're a Rush head, you're excited that they're playing again, it's wonderful.
Co-host/Producer
They sound.
John Clay Wolf
They sound great.
Co-host/Producer
Okay. That's what I'm always.
John Clay Wolf
Getty's voice started fading a little bit at the end. On Working man, they did the encore. Working man, which is like my favorite song. I think that was their first hit very early. Yeah. But they're just a very technical band. Super technical band with hits, which is not very normal to have that type of musicianship. With hits.
Co-host/Producer
Right.
John Clay Wolf
Normally they're tucked away in a corner and you only know about them if you're at this beatnik club.
Co-host/Producer
Actual rock music hits. Like, I always loved yes and I've seen yes live a few times, but it's not the same caliber of music.
Weren't they kind of known as. For the. And I'm misspeaking or not, but were they kind of dorky for like, oh, you're a fan of Rush.
John Clay Wolf
Oh, you're a dork.
Co-host/Producer
Okay.
John Clay Wolf
And that's still the case, I think.
Co-host/Producer
Was that what. The crowd was dorky?
John Clay Wolf
Yes. Okay. So there were a lot of people at the Rush concert that were dressed in outfits that were like characters from album covers.
Caller/Guest
Okay.
John Clay Wolf
And there was a group sitting next to me of Mexican people who you don't think of as Rush fans that would go that far. Like real Mexican people, not like fake Mexican people. And they were wearing red jumpsuits, like Moving Pictures. The album cover from Moving Pictures. So they were dressed up as the movers from Moving pictures.
Caller/Guest
Wow.
John Clay Wolf
But, you know, a real Mexican, that. That is that deep into American music from that age to the point to get dressed up in costume to come to a Rush concert full of white people.
Co-host/Producer
Right.
John Clay Wolf
You know, I just noticed these things.
Co-host/Producer
I would think the Latino sensibility talked
John Clay Wolf
to him about it, actually.
Did you really?
Of course I did. I was sitting right next to him.
Co-host/Producer
How did you approach this conversation? I want to hear that.
John Clay Wolf
You know, you just start feeling around like, hey, what other concerts do y' all like to go to? He's not a hater. He's a Texan.
Co-host/Producer
Well, he's the accidental racist.
What kind of concerts y' all like going to?
You guys like going to, you know, you guys. You know what I mean by you guys.
John Clay Wolf
How long did it take y' all to get up here from Laredo?
Co-host/Producer
How many cars did you use?
John Clay Wolf
All right, okay. It's all good stuff. They might have been Puerto Ricans, I don't know.
Co-host/Producer
But they're fans.
John Clay Wolf
Hell yeah, they're fans. Knew every word, every in air drumming, every note and guitar. Air. Airplane. Every note, yes.
Co-host/Producer
So what about your kid? What do you think about it?
John Clay Wolf
He likes it, but he's. He's a dork.
Co-host/Producer
Okay.
John Clay Wolf
And he's a rockologist and he was. He was down. He knew more than I did. Anyway. Yeah, Russia's good. 8008-0072-3480-0800-Radio Dorian in Pittsburgh. Good morning. You're there.
Caller/Guest
Hey, good. Good morning. There's two events in Pittsburgh. One is called the Pickle Festival. The whole downtown, because RJ Hines, you know, was on the north side and that was his first product. But more important than that, there's a couple thousand cars on display at the golf course between Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh because they're having a vintage car car race. And the guys come in with Walter Minis with these race cars that have prominence and they race each other.
John Clay Wolf
That's what car racers do.
Caller/Guest
But Doreen, quick, quick, quick question.
John Clay Wolf
You mentioned Pickle Fest and it got me thinking. My son and I think we have a. We will have a cut of this in a little bit. My 19 year old son was on. What's that? Charlie Kirk network. Erica Kirk network. The Real American Voice.
Co-host/Producer
Okay.
John Clay Wolf
Do you know what that is?
Co-host/Producer
Nope.
John Clay Wolf
Really?
Co-host/Producer
Nope.
John Clay Wolf
Okay. Oh, no turning point. You're right.
Co-host/Producer
Turning point.
John Clay Wolf
So Alex Stein, he was on it. He was on talk show last night.
Co-host/Producer
Your buddy Alex Stein.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah. No, Maddox was a guest on Alex's show and he was debating who's the crazy guy in Austin that got that the. They got him for Sandy Hook. Oh, Alex.
Co-host/Producer
Alex Jones.
John Clay Wolf
He's the Maddox Wolf is debating Alex Jones, Jones's son.
Co-host/Producer
Oh my.
John Clay Wolf
Who's a. Who has his own podcast and talking. I surprised the hell out of me too.
Co-host/Producer
Wow.
John Clay Wolf
Okay. But they were brought up. Dorian, are you sorry, Are you fixing to arrive?
Caller/Guest
No, but I. But the other thing is the different radio stations are saying it's your area down in Texas. The. The hill country was going to be flooded.
John Clay Wolf
That's Austin. It is. It is flooded. Hang on a second.
Co-host/Producer
So what was the story?
John Clay Wolf
I think Doran fell asleep.
Co-host/Producer
So. Pickles. Yes.
John Clay Wolf
It made me think transvestites.
Co-host/Producer
What in the world?
John Clay Wolf
How did you go?
Co-host/Producer
Never mind.
John Clay Wolf
They were debating should because Maddox is in London. He goes to school over there and he's. He's kind of wanting to be a library.
Co-host/Producer
Is he?
John Clay Wolf
And so he was, he was. He went right into the ring with Alex Stein and Alex Jones.
Co-host/Producer
Damn right.
John Clay Wolf
Damn right. And he held. Okay.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
But they asked the question, what do you think about should transvestites be able to men the transition. Be able to go into women's restrooms? Okay, you already know what Alex Stein and Alex Jones's of course, position was. And my son made the comment, he said, yeah, if they're really committed, then I'm fine with it. He's like, what's a commitment? He's like, you know, if they've removed their penis, like, damn, kid, that's pretty heavy.
Co-host/Producer
That's pretty damn heavy.
John Clay Wolf
When he said pickle contest,
Caller/Guest
you went
Co-host/Producer
right from pickle to this.
Okay, so that's how John Brains worked.
Yeah, that's it. That's an inside look into John Clay
Wolf's brain and our love and respect to RJ Hines.
You know how Heinz did a pickle pickle? Okay, well, my son was on with Alex Jones.
John Clay Wolf
If they remove their pickle, then they can go into the women's restroom. I was like, huh?
Co-host/Producer
Hey, that's somebody that's committed.
John Clay Wolf
That's a commitment.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah, they're not. They're. They are trying to train.
Caller/Guest
Man.
John Clay Wolf
I was watching this thing, I was like, Jesus Christ. Talk about walking into a shark tank. 19 year old kid that talks some pretty good smack around the kitchen table and comes in here and done a little bit.
Co-host/Producer
Yes.
John Clay Wolf
Gets in and to go box with Al. I mean, Alex Jones's son is seasoned and he talks like him.
Co-host/Producer
Does he? Yeah, it's the, the Alex never stops rapid fire.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah. And I was like. And he hung in there.
Co-host/Producer
Is Alex Jones son taking over for Alex since he can't do anything?
John Clay Wolf
Oh, a Hit. And he said. And he said, max just pops off. He said, yeah, your dad got completely annihilated and is broken. They took everything. All of his platform is gone because all of his facts were wrong. I was like, damn, that was an undercut in the balls.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
Anyway, we'll get some cuts of it later.
Co-host/Producer
I was gonna say, do we have audio?
John Clay Wolf
Okay, I guess. Do you have it ready?
Co-host/Producer
He's working on it right now.
John Clay Wolf
800-800-7, 2, 3, 4. 800, 800 radio. What's in the news, boss?
Co-host/Producer
Well, you were talking about concerts and people in tour. Here's a guy who's on tour, he's 95 years old, cancer survivor. Can you guess who it is? He's on tour now with a heavy metal band. It would be. Are you ready?
John Clay Wolf
It's your one way ticket to bedside. Call it Heavy Metal. Sammy hagar.
Co-host/Producer
No, it's 90, he's not 95. William Shatner. He's gonna be. Yeah, in September, he's gonna be at Riot Fest 2026 in Chicago. Now, I know you're thinking, what's William Shatner doing? Heavy Metal. Seriously, he put out a heavy metal song. He's calling this Heavy Metal. I don't know. Listen to it. It's called Rage. Cut number three.
Caller/Guest
I pushed every limit Broke every rule Ever since my days in school I lived my life beyond the edge Roll the bells, jump off the ledge
Co-host/Producer
I
Caller/Guest
hear a century the giant clock loud
John Clay Wolf
for me But I won't go down
Caller/Guest
without a fight Rage, Rage.
John Clay Wolf
What is this?
Co-host/Producer
This is metal.
William Shatner's version of a metal song called Rage.
Caller/Guest
Rage.
Co-host/Producer
You guys remember this? Was it the 70s, when he did Lucy in the sky with diamonds. Do we ever think we don't have those?
I've got a couple things here. This is a Mr. Tambourine man. You remember this one?
God, yes.
John Clay Wolf
Hey, Mr. Mr. Tambourine man.
Caller/Guest
Play a song for me.
John Clay Wolf
I'm not sleepy and there is no place I'm going to.
Co-host/Producer
Jesus. If he hadn't been on Star.
John Clay Wolf
Is this just when you get too old, too rich, you can do anything you want.
Co-host/Producer
Yes, exactly what I was about to say. He had not been Star Trek, he never would even know who he is.
Here's bags last night.
John Clay Wolf
Here's Pocket Man.
Co-host/Producer
Some of his requirements for this, this concert. Chicago has to name a boat in Shatner's name. Yeah. He has to have a food named after him while he's there. Shatner singing Take Me out to the Ball Game at the Chicago baseball game.
This is his rider.
Yes, this is his rider. These are the things that he.
John Clay Wolf
We'll get to that when we come back.
We gotta go.

Steve in Florida. What you got?
Caller/Guest
Hey, what's going on? First time caller, first time listener.
John Clay Wolf
Oh, good.
Caller/Guest
We.
John Clay Wolf
We aim to recruit. Thanks.
Caller/Guest
You kind of got like a David Koresh thing going on.
John Clay Wolf
David Koresh, how's that real quick? I've never been compared to David Koresh.
Caller/Guest
You literally sound like him. And you could lead anybody down a path anywhere, sir.
John Clay Wolf
Thank you.
Co-host/Producer
Thank you.
John Clay Wolf
So what have you got?
Caller/Guest
Banging all the. Your. Your.
John Clay Wolf
I'm banging all the employees. They're all males. It's just a homosexual ranch. It's a compound. Thank you. Praise Jesus. Okay, James, what have you got? Sir.
Caller/Guest
Hey, I've got a 2002am General Humvee. This is actual converted military humvee.
John Clay Wolf
Converted so. So I've bought a lot of these things. General tire and battery had the account from the government and I bought a gazillion of these things. So is this thing still in government issued condition or is it converted to a streetcar? No, it's a.
Caller/Guest
It's government issue condition. It's just had a little bit of work done to it to get it running.
John Clay Wolf
Diesel or gas?
Caller/Guest
It's diesel. V8. 6.5.
John Clay Wolf
Doesn't have rust?
Caller/Guest
No, nothing. It's clean.
John Clay Wolf
How many miles?
Caller/Guest
According to the odometer, 7400. I put about 800 miles on it since I bought it.
John Clay Wolf
Ten grand.
Caller/Guest
All right.
John Clay Wolf
You want to sell it?
Caller/Guest
Not for that. It's. That's what I paid for from the auction.
John Clay Wolf
No, I see. Now do you believe I'm pretty good at what I do?
Caller/Guest
Yes, sir, I do. I've told you a car before vehicle before.
John Clay Wolf
So where's it located?
Caller/Guest
It is in Richmond, Kentucky, just about our south of Lexington.
John Clay Wolf
Well, that's home of the mile cutters, you know, mild cutter is.
Caller/Guest
No, sir.
John Clay Wolf
The guys that roll odometers back, those are all your kin folk up there in Richmond, Kentucky. So I. So now I believe it's got 70,000 miles or 170,000 miles. And then he's at the last barbecue. They cut it back to seven for James.
Caller/Guest
No, it's possible, you know, they changed the old. I mean, they changed out the odometer and stuff on those occasionally. The.
John Clay Wolf
How.
Caller/Guest
How long.
John Clay Wolf
How long have you had it?
Caller/Guest
I have it. I had about 10 months now, I believe.
John Clay Wolf
So have you had your Fun with it. You want to sell it?
Caller/Guest
I do want to sell it. I've got the clear clean title, but I'm. I'm like 18 or 15 at the.
John Clay Wolf
I mean I could have been standing next to you at the auction and hit it the next lick and got it for 10, 2:50. I mean, dude, we can. Those things get auctioned off all the time. They're like police interceptors, like cop cars. I'm not, I'm not beating. I'm not beating on your car. But I mean, I know what they're worth. If I want to buy old hummers from the government, I can buy them for 10,000 and you can too. But you might be able to find some. Somebody that doesn't know that
Caller/Guest
most of them that you're gonna buy though are non running, non driving. You're gonna spend at least 5 or 10,000.
John Clay Wolf
Do you want your money back? Do you want. Do you want. Do you. Do you want it. You want profit or you want to get your money back? You've had your fun with it.
Caller/Guest
I like. I like to get the money that I put into it. Yes.
John Clay Wolf
So how much is that?
Caller/Guest
15 grand. Actually 18, but I'll take 15 just to get close.
John Clay Wolf
I'll give 12 if you deliver it to where I don't know what to figure it out. Go to givemetheven.com. load it up. Let's figure that out. Hang on just a second. Shooter and shooter, you've got a 32 Duesenberg false and limo. 13,000 miles for sport. What you want $385,000 for it? How long have you had it?
Caller/Guest
This car belongs to a customer of mine who is retired and he's wanting to sell it.
John Clay Wolf
A car dealer named Shooter. No way. What I said. So when you said a customer mine, then you're a car dealer, right in your. In your name. On the board here is shooter and it's just like Shooter mcgavver.
Caller/Guest
That came from painting cars. Long 30 some years ago I was. I had a contract painting 73 police cars and they. Every time I walked in the door, they were telling me to shoot it. I wouldn't let none of my guys spray it. They were so picky at the police.
John Clay Wolf
Hold tight. We've got to go to commercial break. I'm going to bring you back with us as soon as we get back with this Duesenberg. My name is John Clay Wolf by cars and radio. For America's best car buyer. Give me the VIN.com.
The John Clay Wolf show. Why are you yelling. America's number one rated Saturday morning show online at jcwshow.com 800800 radio. Your Saturday morning just got an upgrade.

I'm a one way motorway. Julio, San Antonio. What's up?
Caller/Guest
Hey, what's going on, buddy?
John Clay Wolf
Just on the radio.
Caller/Guest
I'm screen you called me. Show about you called me.
John Clay Wolf
What was it? What was your message? You're on the air.
Caller/Guest
I was just wondering what was this about?
John Clay Wolf
What says firsttime listener reminds you of how him and home family used to crack up. So I brought you to the air and then you start grilling me about where are we and what time it is.
Caller/Guest
Yeah, yeah. So you so.
John Clay Wolf
Well, if you want to feel like your mom or your dad when they used to at you, I can do that. Listen, Julio, I don't know how many times I gotta bust your ass to say focus, but when you come at me with a problem, stay on point. Or you come with a comment, stay on point. If you want the stage, you get the stage and I'll give you the stage. But don't deviate if I and your teachers used to call and tell us that you were a little bit dumb. But I know you're not dumb. You're just not focused. So get focused and call me back. Okay? It does. It made him feel like he wanted to feel like home. All right, that's good. Shooter. You've got a 32. You got a 32 Duesenberg Ralston limo restored. You want a bunch of money for it or your guy does doesn't have original gear. You mean doesn't have the original Ralston body.
Caller/Guest
It has all the original Ralston body. I told the guy when I called I had a real doozy for your show and I meant it. Yep. So it is a real Ralston 1932 Duesenberg body.
John Clay Wolf
Okay, so what it says does when it says on the notes does not have original gear. Did my call screener write that down wrong or did you tell him wrong?
Caller/Guest
I told them correctly. It had the original running gear. It would be a 1.2 million dollar car. It'd be a great buy for somebody buy just to put the original running gear in and keep it. But it was used for a vintage limo Service, you know, Gaithersburg, Maryland, hauling all the foreign dignitaries coming into D.C. okay, okay. They came in.
John Clay Wolf
I got you. I got you. I got you. I don't need. I don't need a history lesson. I'm trying to buy a car. What is in
Caller/Guest
has a 350 Chevrolet V8. All right?
John Clay Wolf
You got a Duesenberg with a Chevy Small block. Just say it, Shooter. God bless America. You and Julio. Get Julio and have him call Shooter and let them wear each other out, all right? That ain't worth 365,000.
Caller/Guest
This guy needed a car for his vintage limo service that he could go and drive and carry people around.
John Clay Wolf
I know why he got it. I don't need a history lesson. I'm talking about money, Shooter. We're talking about money. You're talking about all everything else. Trying to get my focus off of money. We're staying on point, boss.
Caller/Guest
No telling you what you're getting for your money.
John Clay Wolf
I know what I'm getting for my money. I'm getting a damn 350 swap doozy. And it's not. It's not. So I think it's probably 200 grand.
Caller/Guest
No, you're wrong.
John Clay Wolf
No, I'm not. Because I still got my money and you still got your car.
Caller/Guest
That is correct.
Co-host/Producer
All right.
John Clay Wolf
We might work on some. You know what?
Caller/Guest
Hey, next Saturday, gonna be in YouTube 32duesenberg. And he wrote tribute, but it's not. It's in a real car.
John Clay Wolf
That's fine. But that's why he still got it. If it was in the money, it'd be gone.
Caller/Guest
We just listed it for sale.
John Clay Wolf
Okay, so do this. Okay. All right. All right, do this. Take that link and put it in. Gimmetheven.com givemetheven.com I want to look at it. I am doing my show with a guy. I don't matter.
Caller/Guest
It'll be 17 digit then. And you do not have a 17 on a 32 Duesenberg.
John Clay Wolf
Then do this. Email J. Wolf@givemetheven.com or John me the vin.com. it'll go straight to me to listen to me. I got one more thing to say to you. Next Saturday, I'm going to be doing the radio show from Jay Leno's garage. Have you ever heard of him?
Caller/Guest
He's got him. You know what they're worth.
John Clay Wolf
I know he knows. That's what I'm trying to tell you, Shooter. So next week, I think we should do this on the radio with Jay. Now, I can't yell Like a crazy man in front of Jake. Still probably get offended. So, you know, you and I'll have to act like we like each other.
Caller/Guest
Look, I listen. I've been listening to the listen on 96. 3 in Danville, Virginia. And I've been listening to this radio show as long as I can remember on that channel. And so anyway, I, I'll be glad to come back and send me, send
John Clay Wolf
me an email john@givemetheven.com John givemetheven.com and send me the link and I'll check it out. Thank you, sir. Damn.
Co-host/Producer
It's a dealer for you.
John Clay Wolf
I mean, isn't it? Oh yeah. Isn't it?
Co-host/Producer
Didn't get to what it really was until the end. Of course.
John Clay Wolf
Right. And I have to whack him around and get them on point. You know, one thing I've noticed about the dealer mentality, if there are handicap spots, like if you go to auto auction. Sure. Which has what a lot of car dealers, they all park in the handicap spots, fill up immediately. Dealers are just angle, angle, angle, angle. They just, it's just a different. They're beat up people that, that just learn to live a life of lies.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
Damn.
Caller/Guest
Wow.
John Clay Wolf
Oh, yeah.
Co-host/Producer
You're living a life.
What an indictment there.
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
And I'm like, I'm a snake handler.
Co-host/Producer
I did stuff with you early, early, early when we started hanging out. Like you, you deal with these people on a different channel than you deal with us. You get on the phone with a dealer and you are a different person, man. You go, you are, you are. And then I one time I said, what was that? You go, that's just a dealer. That's how we talk.
It's true.
John Clay Wolf
Because I've got to come at them the way they're coming at me. And I got to let them know that I know the game.
Caller/Guest
Yep.
Co-host/Producer
When I get a customer, give me the vin.com and you could they, they say little things like MMR Manheim Market Report or whatever. And you. Are you a dealer? Yeah. Why they get angry right away because
John Clay Wolf
they don't want to be fleshed out. They want the consumer bid. They want a better bid because they want to, they want you to give like you're bidding.
Co-host/Producer
A virgin.
Sure.
John Clay Wolf
Instead of a tattooed whore. We'll be right back.
We now return to the John Clay Wolf Show, America's largest weekend morning show. Call John toll free 800-800-RADIO and check out the podcast@jcwshow.com or John Claywolf.com.
welcome back. Another week in America.
Caller/Guest
Good morning.
John Clay Wolf
We're threatening tariffs over Canadian smoke. Half the country's watching soccer final, the other half is pretending they don't care. Politicians are yelling at each other like it's Thanksgiving dinner. Imagine that. And the Internet has somehow found three brand new things to be offended about before breakfast. In other words, a perfectly normal week. Let's get caught up. How the hell are y'?
Christina Lang
All?
John Clay Wolf
Danbo in New York, you're up. What's up?
Caller/Guest
Hey, how you doing? You were talking about Spanish fans for Rush?
John Clay Wolf
Yep.
Caller/Guest
I've seen Rush 10 times. I'll see him in the garden in a couple of weeks. But if you watch the DVD Rush in Rio, they've got 120,000 fans and they're singing every song. They're even singing along to yyz, which is an instrumental. It's amazing.
John Clay Wolf
That makes sense. Thank you for sharing. Joanna in Vermont. Good morning. You're on the air.
Caller/Guest
Good morning.
John Clay Wolf
What you got?
Caller/Guest
Oh, okay. I thought, you know, so before you mentioned that Alex Jones was off the air and gone, but he's on Rumble with more followers that he ever had, and they're building this massive, I don't know, couple of million dollar studio over there.
John Clay Wolf
Perfect.
Co-host/Producer
That's not what you said. Yeah, you were talking about Alex Jones being off.
John Clay Wolf
Oh, well, I was talking about my son debating with his son last night.
Co-host/Producer
That video is cool.
John Clay Wolf
I found Turning Point. We'll do that in a minute.
Co-host/Producer
Okay.
John Clay Wolf
It's still early.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah. Teresa in Florida. What you got?
Caller/Guest
Yes. Yes, sir. Nice to talk with you. It just started raining, thank God. In West Park, Florida, which is near Hollywood. South Florida now. And it's gonna rain again. Thank God. It's gonna rain. Thank you.
Christina Lang
Thank you.
John Clay Wolf
What age did you lose your virginity? No. Thank you.
Caller/Guest
Wow. I love my governor. And I love Trump, man. God, I inherited this house. The highest ground in Broward county, but my taxes are on paid.
John Clay Wolf
There you go, Teresa. Thank you.
Co-host/Producer
She's drinking early.
Yeah, it's raining.
John Clay Wolf
Mike, we've got Teresa's sister in here.
Co-host/Producer
Oh, she's.
Yeah, it's brought her in from Florida. It's hard to believe.
John Clay Wolf
Florida?
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
Caller/Guest
All the way because of the rain.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
My sister doesn't like rain, so she left immediately. She came here to Texas.
John Clay Wolf
Teresa's sister. Teresa.
Caller/Guest
Teresa always talking about the weather like God sent the weather just for her.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
Caller/Guest
You know, I been living up here in North Carolina for a little while. I don't talk funny like they do,
John Clay Wolf
but I talk sense. Yep. You know, if you Got some weather coming your way and it's bad weather.
Caller/Guest
You know, God sent that too. You know, you gotta temper your expectation when you talk about meteorological matters, especially on the radio with somebody here, you say, oh, I love.
John Clay Wolf
I love government desantized.
Caller/Guest
I love Donald Trump. God sent me rain. Praise God. You know, that's quite a mix of topics.
Co-host/Producer
Did you.
John Clay Wolf
Speaking of mixing the topics, do you ever eat Taco Bell and did you get diarrhea?
Caller/Guest
I thank God for Taco Bell every day especially. This ain't on the menu no more. But here's something you can do.
Co-host/Producer
What do you do?
Caller/Guest
Go to Taco Bell. Be nice. Nice.
Co-host/Producer
Be nice.
Caller/Guest
I know it's hard. Yeah, but be nice, okay? And ask if they got. What the. The chorito is it used called. Chili cheese burrito.
Co-host/Producer
Cheddar cheese burrito, okay?
Caller/Guest
And all it is is a big damn tortilla, right? With tasty chili and cheese on the inside. Then you get some fire sauce. You pull just enough for one bite and eat that fire sauce one bite at a time. It's gonna take five bags of sauce, nothing but the fire sauce.
Co-host/Producer
And don't put none of that verde
Caller/Guest
green ah on your chilito.
Co-host/Producer
No, Vertigo is wonderful.
Taco Bell.
Caller/Guest
I thank God for Taco Bell.
Co-host/Producer
Also,
Caller/Guest
next time it rained, right, I'm gonna thank God for rain in Carolina because that ain't for everybody getting too much rain down there.
Co-host/Producer
And somewhere down there, old gun smoke
John Clay Wolf
town somewhere, you know, Marshall Dylan, Gunsmoke, Doc, Miss Kitty.
Yeah.
Caller/Guest
Boy, it's raining like a mama jama down there.
John Clay Wolf
So they not thinking God for no rain. 800-800-734 is the call in number.
Co-host/Producer
Who was this again?
John Clay Wolf
Somebody saved me. 800-800-Radio. This is the previous caller, Teresa's sister.
Co-host/Producer
Okay, we pre flew in.
John Clay Wolf
Thank you.
Caller/Guest
Yeah, thank you.
John Clay Wolf
First time in, last time on.
Co-host/Producer
She was an interesting person.
John Clay Wolf
She was the cholito.
Co-host/Producer
The cholito. She knew all about the chilito.
Can I pull the curtain Back when John, when you threw it to Babo asking to have the sister on his eyes, went, oh, what?
Caller/Guest
No.
John Clay Wolf
But you're not ready for that. You do that impromptu. And some of the best impersonations I've ever seen Bobbo do is when I just throw him a fastball across the countertop here and hit him right in the head with it.
Co-host/Producer
I mean, you did last week when he did the backward masking. God, that was amazing. It was just so good.
Satan.
Yeah, Satan. The backward masking of songs. It sounded like the songs.
John Clay Wolf
How did you do it.
Co-host/Producer
You want to do one?
We have to have Satan on to do.
Well, of course you gotta have Satan on. My bad.
I gotta press my Satan button.
John Clay Wolf
All right.
Caller/Guest
So, John, we were talking about backwards basking.
Co-host/Producer
Right. We were talking about music backwards where you've worked the word Satan in.
Caller/Guest
Right. Yeah, right.
Co-host/Producer
Or marijuana.
Caller/Guest
And it's not always just the vocal, you know. For instance, the. You know, in Stairway to Heaven. Sure, right. You've got Jimmy Page playing. Takes out the acoustics. Got that two neck guitar.
John Clay Wolf
Yep.
Caller/Guest
Badass. Pardon me, but it is. And then Robert Plant in the back, you know, and you play this thing backwards.
Co-host/Producer
Right, Got it.
Caller/Guest
Yeah, it's all there.
John Clay Wolf
Did you watch the Trials of Metallica when they were pursuing them saying that they had backward masking in their songs and it caused that kid to kill. To commit suicide?
Caller/Guest
Yeah, yeah. It's a. It's a bit ridiculous.
Co-host/Producer
Yes.
Caller/Guest
You know, because. Because Metallica never did that, you know. And I tried and tried to talk to James, but you know, James, a bit of a prima donna. Oh, he is. He is.
Co-host/Producer
He is.
Caller/Guest
So Lars and I got together and I'm like, you know. He said, man, I want to go to some backwards practice. That's be awesome. I said, can you sing backwards? I don't sing at all. He's a fun guy. He's a fun guy. Lars Ulrich, rock and roll. But he doesn't sing. But he likes backwards messages.
John Clay Wolf
Enjoys it.
Caller/Guest
So I told him, you can just stop the record.
Co-host/Producer
Okay.
Caller/Guest
You know, put it. Put your table. Turn table on neutral and just play it backwards. And he found one. I couldn't believe it. This is amazing. You remember the Cars?
Co-host/Producer
Well, of course.
Caller/Guest
Not a lot of people listen to Cars anymore, but the Cars, they were awesome. A lot of cocaine back then.
Co-host/Producer
Well, I'm sure.
Caller/Guest
And if you ever listen to let's Go.
Co-host/Producer
Okay. Yeah,
Caller/Guest
That phrase, she doesn't wear her shoes.
Co-host/Producer
Right.
Caller/Guest
You only have to do so. It's beautiful.
Co-host/Producer
That's in there.
Caller/Guest
Lars Ulrich taught me that. Yeah. So there's a lot of. There's a lot of art out there you can use a little differently, I guess. Hail me.
John Clay Wolf
Thank you, Satan. Real quick, who's gonna win the World cup tomorrow?
Caller/Guest
Oh, it's gonna be Spain.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah.
Caller/Guest
The young Messi YAML.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah, you already got it straight.
Caller/Guest
Now I've got 80 bucks on it.
John Clay Wolf
Thank you, Satan. 8008-0072-3480-0800-7234. 800, 800 radio. Mark. Greenville, New York Good morning.
Caller/Guest
Good morning. How's it going good.
John Clay Wolf
What you got?
Caller/Guest
I just listened to that drunk lady from Florida and it reminds me I used to live in Florida for a couple years. I was born and raised up here but moved a little bit and I guarantee you she was either in the Amvets VFW or American Legion this morning already
John Clay Wolf
is that. It's a 24-hour-24. Seven bar.
Caller/Guest
Yeah, well, remind me because I like to say this is a governor. I hate my governor in New York, but I work for the state, so.
John Clay Wolf
Hang on a second. Hey, Teresa, real quick, Teresa, real quick, will you take us out to break? Say we'll be right back with more of the John Clay Wolf Show.
Caller/Guest
Sure, sounds good. I got it on the radio right here.
John Clay Wolf

Caller/Guest
Listen, I have. There's no music coming. Oh, there you go. You remember you were dead, you know, dead. Deadline.
John Clay Wolf
We're back.
Caller/Guest
I was like, I thought it was. Yeah, I see that. Thank God, because I thought I was gone too.
John Clay Wolf
What's on my hearing, what's on your mind?
Caller/Guest
Nothing, I just, you know, I like calling. I tend to be always in my room so I find somebody to call. And since I heard about you guys, I know you're busy like that with all the cars. I know a lot about them, but I don't drive.
John Clay Wolf
Oh, good.
Caller/Guest
But I could.
John Clay Wolf
Thank you. That was interesting.
Co-host/Producer
That's.
John Clay Wolf
I think it's time to do a traffic report in New York City. You know what?
Co-host/Producer
We should do something.
John Clay Wolf
You know who. Have y' all ever heard of Christina Lang? She's a. She's a mainstay in New York City. She's been Doing traffic up there forever. Tina. Are you Tina Lang? Are you. Are you. Are you in the helicopter right now?
Christina Lang
I can beat on my chest and make it sound like I am, but no, I'm not right now.
John Clay Wolf
Okay, well, could you give us a quick traffic update?
Christina Lang
Yeah, yeah. You know, because there's a lot of stuff that's going on around New York City. First of all, if you go outside and you're in a car, you can't roll down your windows because the air quality is like 180, which is unsafe. So don't even bother doing that. And if you go anywhere that is playing any of these soccer games on the big screens, they got it at Brooklyn Bridge Park. So, like, the Brooklyn Bridge, the bqe, they're going to just blow later on today, like around, you know, 12 o'.
Caller/Guest
Clock.
Christina Lang
The game doesn't start till five. The one today, the third place game.
John Clay Wolf
Yes.
Christina Lang
But then they have another watch party at the American Dream Mall, which is right next to the stadium. So that's another one. New Jersey Turnpike. If you try to go on to Route 3, they're going to be all backed up by like 5 o' clock today, so that'll be a mess. And then tomorrow they have the watch party in Central Park. So you can't even go near New York City tomorrow. You can't even use a train tomorrow into and out of New York City because its only use is for soccer fans. The normal commuters, the 63,000 people that need to take a train cannot do so tomorrow. So keep that in mind as well. But yeah, so that's what's going on in New York. Don't roll down your windows and stay away from the Brooklyn Bridge.
John Clay Wolf
Will this be worse than the Nets games?
Christina Lang
You know what Nets games? I don't think there's anybody that goes to a Nets game in Brooklyn. That doesn't happen here.
John Clay Wolf
Yankees was the. Who was the basketball game? Knicks. The Knicks.
Christina Lang
I'm sorry, no. You know, the Knicks games, they allowed you to use the train station. And there were more than 20,000 fans that were going in and out of Madison Square Garden on the trains for the Knicks. But no, for soccer, we can't use the trains. We're not allowed.
John Clay Wolf
Satina, your husband somehow became a lifer listener of ours years ago.
Christina Lang
Oh, yeah. He's addicted to you.
John Clay Wolf
And he flies around in the helicopter in New York City. And does he work for ESPN?
Christina Lang
No, no, no, he works for ABC. So he is. The. Channel 7 is the ABC affiliate in New York. So that's where you can see him every single day in the morning for Eyewitness News. And he knows the city from above like the back of his hand. He's been watching for a long time.
John Clay Wolf
How did he find us up there when we were in Texas?
Christina Lang
I. I don't know. He. Well, you know what? We're radio freaks. We love radio and we can't tell you how happy we are that you're on terrestrial radio in New York because I can't stream. Like, I can't even use the second remote for the TV to like get Netflix. Like, I can't do that. So I have to go simple. I have to turn on my radio and that's it. There's no streaming of any sort of. So we're really happy you're here. We really, really are.
John Clay Wolf
We're happy to be there. So what have you. He. I don't remember your body of work, but he said you've been doing this in the city for decades. Where. Catch us up.
Christina Lang
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
Who are you?
Christina Lang
Well, Christina Lange is my name. I've been doing traffic in New York for 36 years. So you know the old joke, I started when I was five, but so for 36 years and I've done this biggest sports radio station, the biggest top 40 stations, been doing it a very long time and I still am. And I'm just one of the OGs and the real lucky ones that still can do it. And I'm an iheart employee.
John Clay Wolf
Do you notice that she still has that in her brain where she didn't mention the other stations names?
Co-host/Producer
Sure did.
Christina Lang
Right. You're not allowed any now.
Caller/Guest
Let's do it.
John Clay Wolf
Let's do it. Let's do it. What are the name. I mean, is it really that competitive?
Christina Lang
So back in the day. Well, you've got wfan, which is your sports radio station here in New York. And so I was on the Mike and the Mad Dog show, which was the, you know, I was there from the beginning. And then you've got. I was on wplj, which had Scott Shannon and I was on the Rocky Allen Showgram in the afternoon. And he was amazing. He brought numbers, he brought morning radio numbers into the afternoon because much like you guys, he was just a good old radio show. And it worked, it worked in New York and it worked in the afternoons. So I mean you guys, you guys will get respect eventually. But right now if you go on the Q104 website, right, you're just like under and more. It's not like you're. It's not like you're listed anywhere. You're just. And more.
John Clay Wolf
They want to keep me down. Right. So they let us in the building, but they want us to be good, and they won't. That they want to shackle us. I mean, last week I already got my hand slapped about a couple of things. I said, oh, Q104. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I mean. And you know as well as I know the way to get the listeners over is kick everybody in the balls. And ladies.
Christina Lang
Yeah, absolutely right.
John Clay Wolf
Stern did that better than anybody. You've been in radio for a long time. You remember when he took over the airwaves in New York? But Godly, how the mighty have fallen. I mean, he is just a rag of himself now.
Christina Lang
Well, you know what? It happens when you get old. You don't want to work anymore. It happens.
John Clay Wolf
And he's so greedy. He's kept all the money and he's fired all of his staff, and he's only doing one day a week. Did you see that?
Christina Lang
I did. Because I do know some people that work for him. Worked, past tense.
John Clay Wolf
So they've just got blasted.
Christina Lang
Yeah.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
Christina Lang
But, you know, he still got his listeners, and it's all about the listeners. So as long as you got it, you know, you got.
John Clay Wolf
But he was a hardcore guy, and now he's just a. He's just a wanky lib.
Caller/Guest
And I don't know if you can
John Clay Wolf
say that, but, yeah, we just did.
Christina Lang
Okay, there you go.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah, I'll take all the credit. I'm not scared of Howard Stern. One big.
Caller/Guest
Yeah.
Christina Lang
So I worked for his program director.
John Clay Wolf
Actually, I'm in his city now, and I own this, and he needs to just retire and be in Florida and just be an old man and do his thing.
Christina Lang
Hey, you know what? New York needs you. New York needs a real radio show. And again, we're thrilled.
John Clay Wolf
Thank you for calling in, Tina.
Christina Lang
You got it.
John Clay Wolf
Christina Lane, everybody. That was a nice Welsh.
Co-host/Producer
She's awesome.
John Clay Wolf
Her. Her husband's name is. It's John DiGiorno. Is that right?
Christina Lang
Yes. John Del Giorno. Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
John Del Giorno. And he is flying around in the helicopter.
Co-host/Producer
Oh, there's flying right now.
John Clay Wolf
But he can't call in because he said this network will get mad at him.
Christina Lang
Yeah, yeah.
John Clay Wolf
Let's all get a bunch of balls and not worry about it. Nah, Hell with it. Thank you, Tina. They would get it. All right.
Co-host/Producer
They took that. Really? They'd get mad if he called into the show.
John Clay Wolf
Oh, yeah.
Wow.
Co-host/Producer
Jesus.
Well, I mean, I thought that was gone. I guess not anymore.
When I first started on this show,
John Clay Wolf
I dare Howard Stern to call in and try to set me straight.
Co-host/Producer
I'm gonna shut up now.
John Clay Wolf
What were you saying?
Co-host/Producer
When I first started on this show, I had a non compete from. From CBS Radio. Remember? We had to go back and forth
Caller/Guest
whether I could even join you.
Co-host/Producer
And you were on in Houston at the time. You weren't even on in Dallas.
John Clay Wolf
Oh, God.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
AO is is with us, and he was with iHeart, and he's on a non compete with iHeart and he was worried about being on the show. And the Whole Damn Network's iHeart. I'm like, dude, it's okay.
Co-host/Producer
It's okay.
John Clay Wolf
Everybody calm down.
Co-host/Producer
We're still on it.
He's clear now, so he can do it, right?
John Clay Wolf
We've got Elliot in here, and he's blessed AO to be on the air. So we're all good. We brought the principal to the studio.
Co-host/Producer
Seriously, man, this is huge.
We're all on our best.
John Clay Wolf
That's the best thing. You go out and get stoned with the principal, and then you get away with everything. Wow.
Caller/Guest
Okay.
John Clay Wolf

Co-host/Producer
Exactly.
Caller/Guest
But anyway. Yeah, exactly. But hold up. Talk to care from the Canadian fires and guns, Pittsburgh and New York and Chicago, all those places up north. It's all terrible because that touch air and they're going to have to call off the world Canadian.

John Clay Wolf
It's a coop, not a cab.
Caller/Guest
Correct.
John Clay Wolf
Okay, that body style actually is not that desirable. It's just, it's fine. But it's not. Oh my God. So it's a 26 year old Porsche with no miles on it. Loser blue. But it's clean.
Caller/Guest
No, no losers. It leathers blue.
John Clay Wolf
Oh, what color is the outside?
Caller/Guest

John Clay Wolf
Oh, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I, I, I. You in the weird accent. I was thinking you were saying 2000. No, no, no, no. You're right, I'm wrong. I'm completely screwed up. It's early for you, John. Yeah, so it's a C2S 20.
Caller/Guest
20.
John Clay Wolf
2020. Not 2000. That's why I was like man, that 2000 body style sucks.
Caller/Guest
Yeah. Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
We got a different car here. Sorry about that, man. That's my fault. I need some more coffee.
Yeah.
130 on 15,000 miles. Do you remember what the MSRP is by any chance?
Caller/Guest
Like 135 ish.
John Clay Wolf
That's all the money. I mean I'm basically giving, I'm basically giving sticker for a three year old car with 15,000 miles on it.
Caller/Guest
Right? That's what I paid for it though.
John Clay Wolf
What's it take to buy it? 1301-251291-26128. Here we go. Let's just meet in the middle and do the 127 and a half and it's called call it friends. Let me get you paid.
Caller/Guest

Co-host/Producer
Washington.
John Clay Wolf

new Planet Fitness, the number one weekend show in the world. You're listening to the John Clay Wolf show. Check out the podcast@jcwshow.com that's comedian Jerry
Wayne Longmire and he will be calling into the show in a little bit. He's promoting his show next Saturday. Is it next Saturday? Next Friday. Friday night in Walnut Springs, Texas. Tiny little town in the Texas hill country a mile south of, I mean, an hour south of Fort Worth. And that's a whole story we'll get into later. But you guys that are new to the show, we're out in the studio is in Walnut Springs, Texas. Right. So. And you ever seen Blazing Saddles? That's about what the town looks like. Absolutely. And it was kind of empty when we got here and we started renovating it and revitalizing it. And we've got a honky tonk in there with a great restaurant called Walnut Springs Roadhouse. We've got the W6 steakhouse. We've got the Bosque Cantina across the street. My buddy Louie is putting in Lucky Seven motorcycles. He's building a 10,000 square foot motorcycle customization shop. We've got the GMTV garage right there. So we got this little thing and we've. And we've got these silos that you can rent for to stay the night. And we have events out here. We had a car show out here last October and I think there were 6,000 people that showed up huge. Richard Rollins, Chip Foose, myself Dennis Collins. And we're going to do that again in November. We've got a bike rally coming. Like, we want to turn this town into Sturgis, Texas, basically.
Yeah.
And we have a big bike rally coming in October. If you go to Walnut Springs rally dot com, you can see about that and see where to get rooms reserved. I would do that now if you're. If you go to the big bike rallies, this is gonna be a big one. This is our third one out here, and this is one's gonna be the big one.
Co-host/Producer
That's one of the most impressive things I think I've seen you do, man, and there have been plenty. But getting you and those three guys on a stage together at the same time in the middle of a big rally. Yeah, that was pretty cool.
John Clay Wolf
That was fun.
Co-host/Producer
The three wise men.
John Clay Wolf
That was like that day, in that moment, looking out into that crowd and realizing how many people were outside, I was like, wow, it actually happened. And Rollins comes in and he's like, dude, have you been outside? I'm like, no, I've been on the radio all morning. He said, it looks like Woodstock out there.
Co-host/Producer
It was amazing.
John Clay Wolf
That was fun. We're going to do that again in October at the end of October for the bike rally, and then we'll do. And we have a. I think November 4th or something is the car show, and it's right there at Walnut Springs rally. But anyway, Jerry Wayne's playing here next week. 8008-0072-3480-0800-Radio Florida News, J.D. ryan.
Co-host/Producer
And now, from North America's own land down under, it's time for Sunshine State News with your certified lifeguard, J.D.
Caller/Guest
ryan.
Co-host/Producer
Don't you hate when your cat rats you out? Deputies. I know, right? Deputies in Leesburg were searching for a suspect who had fled an attempted burglary. But she had her cat with her. Okay, seriously, for whatever reason, she decided to take her cat with her on this particular burglary call. Here we have the victim of the burglary describing the burglar. And then the canine unit kind of comes in to take a bite out of crime. Cat number six.
Caller/Guest
So what is she wearing?
Christina Lang
Give me that.
John Clay Wolf
She's wearing a short black dress with a skinny spaghetti strap.
Caller/Guest
Okay. She's carrying a black backpack and a
John Clay Wolf
little cat in a bag.
Caller/Guest
The handle, like, it's broken off like that. That was. That wasn't like that. There's a cat will find you, invite
John Clay Wolf
you, come out of that room now. You're gonna get dog, bitch.
Caller/Guest
Wow. The video.
Co-host/Producer
The video is@jcwshow.com if you want to check it out.
Caller/Guest
It's great.
Christina Lang
Yeah.
Co-host/Producer
The dogs come in and. Good boy.
Caller/Guest
Who's a good boy?
Co-host/Producer
Cats again. Dogs could be your best friend, but cats, not so much. 6.2 suffering suck attacks, right?
I bet that's what that cat's always suffering.
Christina Lang
Attack.
Co-host/Producer
You never want to hear, come out or the dog will bite you.
They will narc you out. Cats will cause calamity. And they don't really mean it. They're just. They just walk around trying to be cool. Cats have a. Have a definite McConaughey style about it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just kind of.
Hey, man, I wasn't trying to bring the cops over with me or anything, but I noticed, you know, they had out look like a dog. You might want to keep your eye out for that.
Caller/Guest
Oh, here they are.
Co-host/Producer
They are right now.
They're already here.
John Clay Wolf
I've got a guy on line 12. It says Tracy Morgan is calling to talk to some white people.
Co-host/Producer
That sounds fun.
John Clay Wolf
That sounds like the real Tracy Morgan.
Co-host/Producer
Sounds like something.
John Clay Wolf
Say, good morning, sir. You're on the air.
Caller/Guest
Hey, what's happening, white people?
John Clay Wolf
Hey, Tracy, what's up? Where are you calling in from?
Caller/Guest
I'm calling from New York City, the home of the world champion NBA New York Knicks.
John Clay Wolf
Did you catch us on the radio this morning?
Caller/Guest
Yeah, I've been listening for two and a half hours. Your music sucks.
John Clay Wolf
Hey, you were telling me a story one time, like, about sex parties.
Christina Lang
Mm.
John Clay Wolf
And you did, like, was it a. Or what you call it, an orgy party or something?
Caller/Guest
I like to throw parties. It's so easy, you can do it in your underwear.
Co-host/Producer
Sell us your car. Yeah, so easy, you can do it in your underwear.
John Clay Wolf
So tell me.
Caller/Guest
You know, it's so easy. I do it in less than my underwear.
John Clay Wolf
I mean, I'm a simple, married white guy, but we all, you know, we always imagine about a sex party. So let lay the scene of a sex party.
Caller/Guest
You know, you having a good party when all you see is buttholes and toes.
John Clay Wolf
Wow.
Co-host/Producer
Okay.
That's quite a visual.
John Clay Wolf
So thanks. Did you have these parties at your house?
Caller/Guest
Especially when some of them toes are in the butthole?
Co-host/Producer
Yeah, can't do that.
Can't do that.
John Clay Wolf
So, Tracy, do you have any. What's your schedule look like? Are you playing? Are you on. On tour right now? Are you. Are you chilling?
Caller/Guest
Yeah, I'm on tour, but I want to call in to put in a music request.
John Clay Wolf
Okay.
Caller/Guest
You ain't played no Lionel Rich. You Ain't played no Lionel Richie, you ain't played no Diana Ross, you ain't played no Bell, no Big or no Devoid.
John Clay Wolf
What is your favorite Lionel Richie song?
Caller/Guest
Hello? Is it me you're looking for? Cause I wonder where you are and I wonder what you do and I want to tell you so bad I love you
John Clay Wolf
that is a pretty good version of that. Who you got on the soccer game tomorrow? Tracy Morgan.
Caller/Guest
I only. I only care about the Knicks. When the Knicks play, that's where I have my fun. Did you hear about me getting in trouble? I threw up on the court. Did you know that?
John Clay Wolf
I did not.
Caller/Guest
It made the news a year ago. I got nauseous. I threw up on the court. But you know what happened? The Knicks won. They won that game. So going to the championship, I had to take a doo doo on the court, make them win it all.
Co-host/Producer
What?
John Clay Wolf
Tracy Morgan, everybody. You still got it. You still got it. You've still got it.
Co-host/Producer
Somebody's gotta do it.
John Clay Wolf
Oh, my God.
Caller/Guest
All right.
John Clay Wolf
Good talking to you, man.
Co-host/Producer
Oh, my God.
John Clay Wolf
Dude, I wasn't expecting that phone call.
Co-host/Producer
No, and the delay is already used up for the show now.
John Clay Wolf
Oh, wait. Oh, you dumped that, too.
Co-host/Producer
No, that part was okay, but the other party part was a little bit too risky.
John Clay Wolf
Did you dump both parts of the party part or one part?
Co-host/Producer
One part in particular.
John Clay Wolf
The toe in the.
Caller/Guest
Yeah, yeah, you can't do that.
John Clay Wolf
If you want to hear the unedited version, you just go to jcwshow.com. that's where the video live stream is. And we don't have to dump that for FCC regs. Actually, I accidentally dropped an F bomb a minute ago, and that got done.
Co-host/Producer
You did?
John Clay Wolf
I did is what Turley told me. I didn't realize I did. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Co-host/Producer
That does happen. I said something once I didn't even know I said.
John Clay Wolf
You were talking about Hillary Clinton.
Co-host/Producer
Yes, I was.
John Clay Wolf
See you next Tuesday is what you
Co-host/Producer
call them, Kind of sort of, yes.
John Clay Wolf
And do you not like Hillary Clinton?
Co-host/Producer
It came out so naturally, nobody in the studio even caught it. And our listener calls up and goes, did y' all remember J just said? I'm like, no way I said that. Then the guy goes in the office, listens to the tape, and he comes back to the window and goes, he said it.
John Clay Wolf
We'll be right back. And we're gonna say that and more when we join the John Clay Wolf show in about three minutes after this song. 8008-0072-3480-0800 radio is the calling number Q104, New York City, WMGK, Philadelphia. Big 100 DC. We've got all the Yankee pricks covered in one shot. Be right back. All I want is to have my pizza.
Caller/Guest
There's a pretty wide gap between a
Co-host/Producer
Hollywood cowboy and the real thing.
John Clay Wolf
But Wolf brand delivers authentic taste.
Caller/Guest
It's a southwest tradition, plain and simple.
John Clay Wolf
Neighbor, when's the last time you had a big, thick, steaming bowl of Wolf brand bull? Well, that's too lofty.
Caller/Guest
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
It's the John Clay Wolf show. The number one rated Saturday morning show broadcasting coast to coast from LA to New York.
New York City.
Get a rope. You're listening to the John Clay Wolf Show. JCWShow.com New York City.
Get a rope. Mark in Ohio, you've got an 86911 Carrera. Is it a turbo? Is it a. Is it a SC?
Caller/Guest
No, Carrera is Carrera. There's no SC.
John Clay Wolf
The other is an 86ers.
Caller/Guest
No.
John Clay Wolf
Yep.
Caller/Guest
No, it's not an SC. It's. It's just a straight up Carrera.
John Clay Wolf
Okay. And it's a. It's a convertible. It's a cab.
Caller/Guest
Yes. Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
Has the motor been repackaged? Because those things are bad about leaking.
Caller/Guest
No, there's still leaks at all. It's been gone through. Prior to me owning it, I know there was some motor work done on it. Transmission work, clutch.
John Clay Wolf
How long have you had it?
Caller/Guest
Steering rack, struts.
John Clay Wolf
How long have you had it?
Caller/Guest
I've had it for almost a year.
John Clay Wolf
Gotcha. What says you want? Want 65 grand for it? I sold one with 37, 000 miles for 63000 last June. That was a 85. I'd known, but it's the same car.
Caller/Guest
Yeah. Now this one also has the, the turbo tail on it.
John Clay Wolf
That's good.
Co-host/Producer
Paints.
Caller/Guest
Fantastic.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah.
Caller/Guest
I mean it's not a concourse car, but it's immaculate.
John Clay Wolf
How many miles are on it?
Caller/Guest
145 on the body.
John Clay Wolf
It's just too high.
Caller/Guest
It's just the motor was redone.
John Clay Wolf
It's just too high. Where'd you buy it?
Caller/Guest
Bring a trailer.
John Clay Wolf
Okay. What'd you pay? Bring a trailer.
Caller/Guest
A lot less than 65, but I put a lot of work into it.
John Clay Wolf
I got you. Well, I mean the listings public, I can see. What, what did it bring?
Caller/Guest
50.
John Clay Wolf
Okay. Yeah. See a bit about.
Caller/Guest
Yeah, I mean I'm looking at, you know, maybe seeing what it's worth, if it's worth selling it. You know, I've had other high end sports cars you know, the price was right, so they sold.
John Clay Wolf
I gotcha. Okay. We. We buy and sell on. Bring a trailer quite a bit@givemetheven.com but, well, that car, I mean, so if I get it for, if I had it for 50, how am I supposed to make money with it?
Caller/Guest
Yes, I mean, I hear you, man. I hear you. I know you guys are in business.
John Clay Wolf
What do you do for a living?
Caller/Guest
Business, It's a hobby. Right now I'm retired military.
John Clay Wolf
How did you say. So you made your money? I mean, you made your living being working for the military?
Caller/Guest
I make my money through hustling car
John Clay Wolf
dealers for high mileage Porsches. How you make your money? All right, thank you, man. 8008-0072-3480-0800.
Co-host/Producer
Radio Some more Florida news if you'd like.
Christina Lang
All right.
Co-host/Producer
Do we need the opener?
No, no, you can just go right into it.
Florida man had a plan to beat the court ordered drug test. You know how that went? Kind of went off the rails for him. 52 year old James Shepard showed up at the Flagler County Sheriff's office to give a urine sample. Part of his deal. Right. He showed up. Unfortunately, he drove with a suspended license when he got there, which of course violates his probation. And then he had a much bigger problem in his pants. Yeah, he actually went there with a fake urine device hooked up to a heater, heating pad and all complete with a fake boy part.
John Clay Wolf
So when we were in. Is there, is there audio?
Co-host/Producer
Yeah, he attempted to ditch the fake boy part in the back of a police cruiser. But of course the back of the police cruiser has a video number seven.
What is this?
John Clay Wolf
I don't know what that is. James, I have you on video pulling out a peabag and a dildo out of your pants. Okay, I'm not stupid. I clean this car every day. I'm responsible for what is in this car. I would know if there's a pee
Co-host/Producer
bag and a dildo in my car.
Oh, my gosh.
John Clay Wolf
So 1992 SMU locker room. I played football there.
Co-host/Producer
Yes.
John Clay Wolf
They're drug testing us all for steroids.
Co-host/Producer
Oh, makes sense.
John Clay Wolf
I'm not going to use any names.
Co-host/Producer
That's a good idea.
John Clay Wolf
But two people had pea bags on their leg. So it's warm.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
You go into the deal clean and you put the pee in the cup.
Caller/Guest
Yep.
John Clay Wolf
And you try to get somebody that doesn't do steroids.
Co-host/Producer
Get your girlfriend.
John Clay Wolf
Get somebody not a girlfriend. Because they're checking, they know. Male versus not male.
Co-host/Producer
Really?
John Clay Wolf
Yeah. I even Think they know black and white.
Co-host/Producer
All right, leave that alone.
John Clay Wolf
But it was. It was a real thing.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
And did they get away.
Co-host/Producer
Did they pull.
John Clay Wolf
They didn't pull it off. They pulled it out.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah, I got you.
Well, yeah, they would go into a stall so they couldn't see.
Okay. They weren't watching the process. Okay.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah, that's.
Co-host/Producer
This is not a new. I don't know what the new technology is. Apparently this guy didn't.
It's the Wizinator.
Yeah, it's what it is.
It's called. We have a. We have a. A censored photo of it, and it's a whole kit. It comes with, like, a little hand warmer type heater thing. Powdered urine that you mix up. That's like, synthetic.
Oh, there it is. JCW show dot com. You can see it.
John Clay Wolf
The Wizinator golden shower.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah, It's a real deal that. That thing has been around for 30 years, John. I used to see this when the Internet was brand new to me. Okay. And it was illegal in a lot of places. And that company has paid a lot of fines and a lot of, like, business expenses to keep themselves out of prison. And so now they sell it as a novelty.
Caller/Guest
Sure.
Co-host/Producer
That's just.
John Clay Wolf
Have you ever been. Back when you did some smoke, some grass, has anybody ever drug tested you for grass back when they used to do that?
Co-host/Producer
Yeah, I used to get it all the time.
John Clay Wolf
How did you pass?
Caller/Guest
Sure.
Co-host/Producer
Gel.
John Clay Wolf
What's your gel?
Co-host/Producer
Sure, gel is in the. In the grocery aisle. I think it's over close to the jello, right, J.D. yes, it is the stuff you make gelatin out of. Make your home preserves and things.
Make gelatin out of.
Yeah, it's chock full of pectin, which is like kind of almost like a vitamin C derivative. It'll mask anything and it gets thick. What you do is you mix it in a deal of warm water and you drink that, the whole thing, and it's not disgusting. It actually tastes kind of. Kind of citrusy. And then you don't touch any fruit juices or caffeine or anything that will make it, you know, separate itself from the liquid in your stomach. You drink as much water as you want to, and after 90 minutes, your bladder has turned into a bowl full of jelly.
I don't believe any of that.
And nothing, nothing passes but pure, clean water with creatine at the proper temperature.
He's not lying about. Because in the late 90s, I had to pass a drug test. And so the way I did it was I had a full gallon of this tea. I can't remember the name of it, but I had to drink this full gallon of tea.
Okay.
Drank it down and then took the test, Passed, no problem.
Caller/Guest
Wow.
Co-host/Producer
But you have to drink this whole gallon of it. Oh, yeah, yeah.
Head Shop Juice.
Yeah. Yes.
John Clay Wolf
Y' all know it's real Head shop.
Co-host/Producer
It's called Gold 2000 or something. Yeah, yeah. That was the precursor to the Wizinator.
Or maybe it just don't do drugs.
Well, yeah, that's what we're doing, right?
John Clay Wolf
So weed is legal in so many states now. When you, like, if you're in Texas and you're from California, you're used to smoking weed. Do they. Do they drug test you for weed? We'll find out when we get back. My name is John Clay Wolf. We got it. We've got to flip to the top of the hour. We're gonna add a bunch of more state many more stations right now. You can watch us. I think New York City, we're losing you right now. So you can go to jcwshow.com and you can stream from there. We've got four. What, how many more hours left?
Caller/Guest
Lot. A lot.
John Clay Wolf
A lot left. We'll be right back. Remember, you can stream us if you lose us in these different time zones because we're live. JCW Show John Claywolf, jcwshow.com Be right back. Down in the hole. And I don't know what I could be saying.
Broadcasting live from the Wolf Radio studios, it's time for the John Clay Wolf Show, America's largest weekend morning show. Call John toll free, 800, 800 radio and check out the podcast@jcwshow.com or John Claywolf.com this is the John Clay Wolf Show.
J. Tracy Morgan called in earlier. He wanted to hear a song from a black person. So we selected 37 of them that all sing at once, named Earth, Wind and Fire.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
This is going out to you. Tracy Morgan, 8008-0072-3480-0800- radio. My son Maddox, who's been on the show several times, he's a smart little dude. He's only 19. And he's a debater.
Co-host/Producer
Yes.
John Clay Wolf
And he's in the debate club over at King's College in London. He goes to King's College in London. And I've noticed that he's. He's dressing a little more British. Yeah. He's wearing jackets often, a lot of tweeds.
Co-host/Producer
Short, short, short pants, you know, show the ankles.
John Clay Wolf
I didn't notice that, but, but lots of, lots of blazers.
Caller/Guest
Okay.
John Clay Wolf
And wait, did they have a picture of this? Does Kyle have a picture of this? AO I don't.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah. It doesn't have video. We have audio though, of it.
John Clay Wolf
Okay, that's too bad. I've got this. Kyle, I'm going to send this to you right now. If you can jam it in there real quick. Cuban to the stream@jcwshow.com. he went on the Alex Stein program. Like, Alex is part of the Turning Point network. The Charlie Kirk thing.
Co-host/Producer
Real America's Voice.
John Clay Wolf
Real America's Voice. And he went on that show last night and this is his first time to do anything like that. And Maddox is pretty square, but he's pretty spicy.
Co-host/Producer
Where was he?
John Clay Wolf
In Dallas, some studio. Yeah, he's home for the, for the summer. And he, Alex, set him up against. What's his name, son, Alex Jones. Alex Jones's son is a professional podcaster. He, he, that kid is already, I think he's about three years old, is older. I think that guy's about 23. Alex Jones's son. And I was surprised when I turned it on and I saw that. So he, he put him in the ring with Conor McGregor basically right out of the gate. And my son is a liberal wannabe is what I call him. He's got some Texan in him and he's got, he's really a centrist, but he's got, he's trying to be, I don't know, I mean, whatever, let them be who they are. But here's some cuts from this debate last night that was on, on their channel.
Caller/Guest
Now, Maddox's dad is on iheartmedia and he's on over 100 stations. And his. He has a show called givemetheven.com and it's a great show.
John Clay Wolf
It's not called givemetheven.com. you. It's called the John Clay Wolf Show. The company that sponsors the show is called givemetheven.com next.
Caller/Guest
His dad told me, you know, my son, he goes to school in London and I've noticed that he is a little liberal and I would like for you to have a conversation with him. Alex, what are some of your political viewpoints?
John Clay Wolf
Some of my political viewpoint?
Caller/Guest
Yeah, like, do you like abortion? Yeah, shut up. Shut up.
John Clay Wolf
You like abortion? No bueno. You think it's okay for a baby,
Caller/Guest
For a baby to get murdered?
John Clay Wolf
Well, no, it's not a baby until a certain point.
Caller/Guest
Oh, you gotta be kidding. You gotta be kidding me right now. Hold on. Why does the baby get to choose if it wants to live or not.
John Clay Wolf
Well, it's because the baby doesn't have a soul. Yeah, the baby doesn't have the level of sentience required to justify that kind of choice.
Caller/Guest
You gotta be kidding me.
John Clay Wolf
Well, so that's not a liberal viewpoint.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
Oh, okay. Go ahead.
Caller/Guest
Yeah, it has a heart.
John Clay Wolf
Wait, wait, if it has a heart. Not necessarily. How is a heart in any way, shape or form the deciding factor on, like, what gives somebody a right to life? You got be kidding me. What do you mean you got to be kidding me?
Caller/Guest
You seem like such a smart young man. You go to the 31st best university in the world and you don't understand that there's a little life in there and that if they have a heart that they're starting to form the most of the time people have an abortion is they just don't want to pay for the baby. Here's the thing.
John Clay Wolf
Just look at it from a metaphysical perspective. You are eliminating something that is binding you to some potential future, and out of that you get more time. How is that not a deal with the devil?
Caller/Guest
I understand that your liberal position is that abortion is okay, but will you
John Clay Wolf
admit that it is a murder of a baby?
Co-host/Producer
No. Oh.
John Clay Wolf
What else you got?
Co-host/Producer
That's the full clip right there. That's just a taste of it.
Yeah, he's pretty rational, Maddox.
John Clay Wolf
The only clip he sent you.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah. That's pretty harsh though, right there. I mean, that's. To have him come out with that.
John Clay Wolf
I told you to jump to the end of it. There was some different stuff at the end of it. It. But anyway.
Co-host/Producer
What?
Well, just to have him. Throw him in there in that topic. Yeah, that's a very polarizing topic.
Yeah. No, they went straight for blood.
Yeah, of course.
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
This went on.
Caller/Guest
He held himself out.
Co-host/Producer
If you want me to post it.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah, you post it.
Co-host/Producer
Okay.
John Clay Wolf
Go to JCW show and post it.
Co-host/Producer
So have you talked to him after this?
John Clay Wolf
Yeah, I mean, I. That was the roughest part of the whole deal. And the rest of it got. He. He won. Definitely won a few rounds. Yep. Well, there's not.
Co-host/Producer
I don't think there's a winner. An abortion topic anyway.
John Clay Wolf
No, there's not, but that was the one that was the cringiest.
Co-host/Producer
So he. So did you. Did he know he was going to come on there before? Did you.
John Clay Wolf
I knew he was going to come on, but he didn't know what he was doing.
Co-host/Producer
I'm talking about. Did you just throw this to him? It's like, hey, guess what? You're going to come on to Alex Stein show.
No, I.
John Clay Wolf
We talked about it a while back and I and I put him together on a group chat. I said, you'd like this kid because he's got that Charlie Kirk thing in him and he's young. And Alex talked to him a little bit and said he kind of brought him on just because he's my kid. And I gave him. I said, it'll be fine because he knew that I have a decent opinion of fine. And then they went through this whole thing and he called me last night, he said, that kid is awesome. I'm gonna start using him this. And then I want him back. This was one of the best shows we ever had. Blah, blah, blah, blah.
Co-host/Producer
That's great.
John Clay Wolf
That was the low point of the show, actually. What he. What we just clipped, he stuck to,
Co-host/Producer
you know, he met. He stuck to his grounds.
Caller/Guest
That's.
Co-host/Producer
You gotta admire that.
John Clay Wolf
Victor Sandoval, Mission Hills, California. Good morning. You're on the air.
Caller/Guest
What's up, man? I just heard your story about the Wizardator and I wanted to share a story. Okay. So I had one of them a long time ago. And you know, sometimes people want to watch up or whatever, how to do it for like a drug test. I ended up, one of my friends had to do the same thing.
John Clay Wolf
Yep.
Caller/Guest
And he took the thing and used it. I didn't ask for it back, but like Pre K said, that thing got pat. That was the nator got passed around like an old.
John Clay Wolf
Like an old hoover. Thank you, Vic. 8008-0072-3480-0800 radio. Brian in Sarasota, Florida. Good morning, you're on the air.
Caller/Guest
Hey, good morning. How are you?
John Clay Wolf
Good. What you got?
Caller/Guest
Well, so I was just flipping through the live on YouTube and I was listening to you have a conversation with a gentleman, kind of. It seemed like a big sale on a vehicle. I said, this is a perfect guy to talk to because it seems like you know exactly what you're talking about when it comes to vehicles. Okay. And I was just telling your call screener that I'm a struggling entrepreneur. I created a website. And the website is a comparison website that takes factors that people think are most important and spits out an answer as to, you know, what their favorite vehicle is, who the best basketball player is, you know, what kind of what, what's the best movie to watch? Like it's a decision making tool. But specifically on the car piece, I'm curious from an expert's perspective, what Types of things are most important. Like, what are you looking for?
John Clay Wolf
Toyota.
Caller/Guest
Right. So it tends to be, and that's what I'm seeing with my algorithm is a lot of, a lot of Toyota when it comes to consistency.
John Clay Wolf
But the factors, I buy Toyotas for myself and for my kids, and I have more cars than anybody you'll ever probably meet. I think we have 2200 cars in inventory right now. Givemetheven.com sells about 5 to 7, sometimes 800 cars a week in our wholesale distributorship. And there's a reason that I drive a Toyota and there's a reason I buy Toyotas for my kids. They hold their value the best, they break down the least, and the body styles don't get old and agey looking. And that's why the Toyota dealers make the most money. Like, if you own a Toyota store, you would have to have something really wrong with you. Have you ever seen a Toyota store go bankrupt?
Caller/Guest
No.
John Clay Wolf
There was one called Lexus of Englewood. The only Lexus store in the history of man that has ever filed for bankruptcy. And it was because of corruption. Oh, it was just because of corruption.
Co-host/Producer
You can run anything out of business. Yeah, I saw a liquor store go out of business once. How do you do that?
John Clay Wolf
But, I mean, I'm not trying to be, you know, cute, but it's just really that simple. It's just that simple. So I hope that helps.
Caller/Guest
So. So, yeah, it does. So it holds the value the most. And you described like the aesthetic value. Like, like it's not going to get old. Like in looking in 15 years, it's still going to look good. It's still going to look modern.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah, it's, it just, it's just the, it's just the easiest, best monetarily way to go. And then like when I'm bidding a Toyota Tacoma with 150,000 miles on it, it, the return value on that is like a dodge truck with 80,000 miles on it. Because the market knows that that car, that truck has more life in it than a domestic truck. Therefore, it brings more money on the used market. And it's just that simple. Simple. Thank you, man. Coming up next, we're going to do dial a deal where y' all call in with your cars and I'll bid them on the air. For America's best car buyer gives. John Clay Wolf
Well, those Puerto Ricans will do it cheaper than us Yankees. So are you.
Caller/Guest
Well, I was just looking to possibly, you know, I have a farm there that was destroyed by hurricane Maria and I was just. I would pretty much be willing to give you the car if you'd be willing to give me some type of donation because I know it costs you money to get it back home and taxes and all that.
John Clay Wolf
What would it cost to get it back over here?
Caller/Guest
I think probably two grand would be my guess to get it back there.
John Clay Wolf
What kind of shape is it in?
Caller/Guest
It's, it needs a little bit of body work. But the engine itself, the 400 big block is still running well, you know, transmission, radiators, all that. For some reason. It used to be three on the tree and somebody put an automatic in it.
John Clay Wolf
Do this. Do you have, do you have photos of it?
Caller/Guest
Yeah, I do Have a few photos of it.
John Clay Wolf
Load photos into givemetheven.com okay. And explain our conversation on the radio and what you're proposing. Let me take a look at it and see if it's worth dragging back over here.
Caller/Guest
Sure. Everything to give the VIN.
John Clay Wolf
Give me the VIN. Givemetheven.com and that goes for everybody listening. You can go to givemetheven.com and load her up. Brendan. Indiana. Good morning. What city in Indiana? All right. An 05 Tundra. Four wheel drive crew cab with 90 average rough or clean condition.
Caller/Guest
In good condition.
John Clay Wolf
Leather or cloth?
Caller/Guest
Cloth.
John Clay Wolf
Okay. V8 I'm assuming. I think they were all V8s back then. 20 years ago. So do you know if it's a SR5 or the WT, which is like the work truck?
Caller/Guest
It's a SR5.
John Clay Wolf
Okay. It's got 95,000 miles on it.
Co-host/Producer
It.
Caller/Guest
Yes, 92,000.
John Clay Wolf
I'd give 8,500. Nine grand.
Caller/Guest
Okay.
John Clay Wolf
Go to givemetheven.com and load it up. You want to sell it?
Christina Lang
No, I'm just interested.
John Clay Wolf
Okay. 8008-0072-3480-0800 radio. Let's take one more real quick. I'm looking at. He's trying to screen these as we go. David. An 08 Jeep Wrangler 4x4 with 160 on it. If it's a, is it a four door?
Caller/Guest
Yes, sir.
John Clay Wolf
Probably six grand.
Caller/Guest
Okay. I had no idea. I literally just retired like 20 minutes ago and I got a third vehicle and I don't need it. I had no idea what to even
John Clay Wolf
even ask for it now, you know. Well, just sell it to me. Go to givemetheven.com givemetheven.com we'll you're in Austin. We'll. We have an office in Austin. We can get you paid in money.
Caller/Guest

John Clay Wolf
His wife just had a baby.
Caller/Guest

John Clay Wolf
Yeah.
Caller/Guest
You got a picture.
Co-host/Producer
Boom.
Caller/Guest
There you go.
Co-host/Producer
Oh, beautiful, huh?
Caller/Guest
Lucky man.
John Clay Wolf
Thank you so much. My greatest treasure. Hey, you know, she looks a little Asian.
What are you.
Co-host/Producer
What does that mean?
John Clay Wolf
She has a look, a little Asian look about her. It's a strange thing to say, Larry.
Caller/Guest
Why?
John Clay Wolf
What's the big deal? What are you getting at is all I'm asking. Because most people would just say first, she's beautiful.
I'm saying that, you know, she just
has a slight Asian look to it. I feel like you're maybe saying something's off about it.
Caller/Guest
I'm not saying something's on about it. It's good. It's a good thing. That's a compliment.
John Clay Wolf
How so? She's exotic. I wish I looked a little Asian.
We now return to the John Clay Wolf show, the number one one weekend morning show in America. Check out the podcast jcwshow.com now. John Clay Wolf.
Co-host/Producer
That's so funny, dude.
John Clay Wolf
Curb your enthusiasm. So damn good.
Caller/Guest
So good.
John Clay Wolf
It's so good.
Co-host/Producer
I'm finding myself doing dumb things like that too. Being in the. The a hole. Had somebody at work come in with her daughter, the office, and yeah, she's like, oh, doesn't she. Oh, she's pregnant.
John Clay Wolf
You know, look.
Co-host/Producer
Didn't she look beautiful?
Caller/Guest
Glowing.
Co-host/Producer
Glowing. I'm like, yeah, she looks pregnant.
Good. Mike.
John Clay Wolf
Did you really?
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
I mean, what am I supposed to say?
Co-host/Producer
Never. See, just say she looks beautiful.
John Clay Wolf
But that's not. How old was her daughter?
Co-host/Producer
Mid-20s.
John Clay Wolf
Okay. And what did the daughter. What was her reaction? Or was it a photo?
Co-host/Producer
She goes, well, yeah, you know, my ankles are swollen.
John Clay Wolf
She started feeling really bad and I
Co-host/Producer
was like, like, I mean, you're pregnant.
John Clay Wolf
That's what happens.
Co-host/Producer
You know, that's part of it.
That's what happens.
My wife was not happy with me when I told her about that.
She's.
John Clay Wolf
You're supposed to say, he.
Co-host/Producer
She's glowing and stuff.
Beautiful, glowing.
So if somebody walked up, that's what you'd say?
John Clay Wolf
Yes, I've definitely been the guy that have said, you're pregnant. Wow.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah. What do you.
John Clay Wolf
And no, no, no, no, no, no. And they're not. Oh, God.
Co-host/Producer
God, John. Never guess. Never.
John Clay Wolf
That's a bad one. You don't guess.
Co-host/Producer
That's a real bad one.
John Clay Wolf
And you don't guess people's age.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
Super car blondie.
Yeah.
Co-host/Producer
Even if. Even if they ask you to guess, you don't.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah.
Co-host/Producer
Hey, well, how old do I look? You don't want that.
John Clay Wolf
I said, you're about my age, like 50. She's like, I'm 38. Jerry Wayne Longmire. Good morning. The comedian, funny man, the car cutter, the hot wheels guru. Are you there?
Caller/Guest
Yes, sir. Can you.
John Clay Wolf
Nope. I started to hear you, then it went away. That's Too bad.
Co-host/Producer
He's.
John Clay Wolf
You sounded perfect and then it just went away.
Caller/Guest
Okay, I'm back. I think I got it fixed.
John Clay Wolf
Okay, so you're rich and famous now. How does it feel to be rich and famous? He finally hit. He hit good,
Caller/Guest
man. The rich ain't showed up yet. Yeah, I'm sitting out here in an un air conditioned garage at Saturday morning, at 9 o' clock in the morning. It doesn't feel like something a rich guy would do.
Co-host/Producer
What?
John Clay Wolf
You've been on tour, man, like heavy duty.
Caller/Guest
Yeah, it's crazy, man. We're doing the whole thing. When we started this thing about a month ago, we're doing 62 cities before the end of the year. I'm going there, I'm following the world of Outlaws to the, the world finals in Charlotte and, and hitting just about every city I can squeeze myself into. My agent sent me to Maine in December.
John Clay Wolf
That's close.
Caller/Guest
I think he doesn't like me.
John Clay Wolf
So. Shane Gillis just broke a world record for a stand up comedian audience. Did you see this?
Caller/Guest
I did not.
John Clay Wolf
76,000 people in a stadium. I mean, I mean he's okay, he's funny, but he ain't that damn funny.
Caller/Guest
I think he's pretty funny. I just don't understand. So I've done a show for like 5,000 people, right? And it's real hard for stand up comedy to work for 5,000 people, right? But I can't imagine what it, how it, how it works for 76,000 people. How many people do you have relay and what you're saying and you know,
John Clay Wolf
you know you're in this, I mean you've been in it for a little while now, but this, this lift that you're catching, you're in the perfect space because I was talking to a music producer the other day and he was telling me that stand up comedy, big stand up comedy is outselling big music in many areas. So like Tate, you know, not to compare to Taylor Swift, but the big concerts, this big concert for comedy is not, it's happening. I mean I saw Joe Rogan sell out Dickies in Fort Worth. 16,000 people two nights in a row. The great big comedy shows. These guys are getting paid now like pretty heavy duty. I mean they always have been. But, but anyway, I'm, I'm excited for you now. I don't think you're going to make that much money. Next weekend in Walnut Springs, Texas at the Walnut Springs Roadhouse.
Caller/Guest
I'm so, I'm so excited to come though, man. I've missed you guys. And I got to hang out with you in a while. And I'm real curious what kind of cars I'm gonna be sleeping around.
John Clay Wolf
There's some you'll love. What's in the shop right now. Love. Now I do have to.
Caller/Guest
There you had Paul newman's Ferrari. So that it's got of hard to top that.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah, there's some pretty cool stuff. Did you watch. Did you happen to watch the video we put out on our YouTube channel last weekend with the guy in Arkansas? Because you'll really like it.
Caller/Guest
Is that the dude that.
John Clay Wolf
I know what I got.
Caller/Guest
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
John Clay Wolf
Okay.
Caller/Guest
He was a mess.
John Clay Wolf
That one blasted off. I mean, it's like half a million views already. I mean, do we have some cuts from that dude?
Caller/Guest
Well, I know I got three and
John Clay Wolf
a half million dollars sitting in these cars.
Caller/Guest
Crank up and drive to Barrett.
John Clay Wolf
So, like, these. These cars have been sitting there for 20 and 30 years. And he's like, oh, all you gotta do is crank it up and drive to Barrett.
Caller/Guest
Crank up and drive to Barrett.
John Clay Wolf
So we.
Caller/Guest
Well, at first he told you he didn't know anything about it, but then he. I definitely know I got $3 million right there.
Christina Lang
Right?
Caller/Guest
I know I got three and a half million dollars sitting in these cars.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah. No, you don't. And. And we wound up buying like 18 of them. But what was funny is that video took off so hard. We have a location in little rock, Arkansas. And people that were watching the video knew we had. They figured out we had a location there. And they were going to it to see the cars because they assumed that they were sitting there. And there was like five people there looking at them. And the dude walked in to get a check because he. He sold us three batches of cars. And the dude walked in to get a check at our office. And the people that were there were like. Like starstruck. We've made this guy famous. You're kidding. No. Abdullah called me and he said, you won't believe this. They were like, one. One of them wanted his autograph.
Caller/Guest
Wow.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah. Isn't that funny? But the commenters and everybody on the comments, like, john, you were so patient. You were so patient. I mean, my God, you're so patient. I remember when this was going on, I would just sit back and let this happen because I'm like, this guy is weaving Internet gold right now. I mean, and I was like, I'm just gonna let this go and the commenters are going to take care of this. And I was telling My guy Mike that bought the cars after I left, I said, you need to get these cars wrapped up and get this all done because this video is going out in two weeks and the commenters are going to rip his ass so hard that he's going to be mad at us. It's not our fault, but that's what's going to happen. And he's like, you know what he's like. And he's like, well, I'm going to do this. I said, I'm telling you. I told Mike again, I said, you need to get your business done with Jeremy before this video comes out because there's nothing that we did. But. But the commenters are gonna, are just gonna eat him alive. And it was. That's what happened. Hey, did you see. So Jerry has his shtick. Kyle, will you throw that. That. We're on the phone with Jerry. Wayne Lohmeyer. Kyle, will you throw that image up that I sent you a minute ago? And I said it to you, Jerry too, so the, the streamers@jcwshow.com can see it. This Jeep, do you, do you have a picture of. What is that, like a 52 Willis Jeepster or something?
Caller/Guest
Willis. So like a Willis Overland.
John Clay Wolf
I bought this from Josh Paris at Gas Monkey Garage. And if you were, if you ever watched Fired Up, Fired Up Garage, they built this, this rig in Fired Up Garage and It's got a 12 valve Cummins in it.
Caller/Guest
Oh my God. And you bought it.
John Clay Wolf
And I'm selling it the last Wednesday in two weeks. GiveMeTheEven.com we have our classic collector sale and I'm gonna have it in that auction. Absolute. Is that Wednesday the 27th or the 28th? Anyway, guys, if you want to buy classic collector cars, we've got a hundred really good ones the last Wednesday of this month.
Co-host/Producer
29th.
John Clay Wolf
Manheim, Dallas, 29th July. But that will be in it. But I didn't know if I sent you that earlier. Maybe you don't have anything cocked and
Caller/Guest
ready for it, but Jerry will take that thing. Looks like it. Oh my God. It looks like a ransom note. Pieced together from three different vehicles. They just took a piece of American history and turned it into an art car. This is hilarious.
John Clay Wolf
Jerry's really good at taking images of vehicles and cutting on them. And that's what really kind of going.
Caller/Guest
It's just so bad. It's so bad. I mean, God almighty. It's.
John Clay Wolf
How about the paint selection?
Caller/Guest
The proportions look like somebody drew a truck from memory.
Co-host/Producer
See this@jcwshow.com, by the way.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah, well, you were telling me that some of the biggest hits you've had cutting up Cars have been like Mom Cars, I think.
Caller/Guest
Yeah, the Mom Cars video did really good. It doesn't, you know, honestly, it just depends. The thing is, is the ones that go really big are the ones where I'm kind of tired of doing it and I be mean.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah, yeah, that's right.
Caller/Guest
I've been. And I don't feel like doing it. Then they're a hit every time. And the one I just did, I hadn't done one in a couple months and I just kind of did one for the fans and I really didn't feel like doing it and I sat down to write about it and I was just kind of in it. A crap attitude about it hit so hard. But I was being so mean. I was like, I was like, oh my God, they're gonna turn on me over this one. And no, they just, they just went along with it.
John Clay Wolf
What did you say?
Caller/Guest
I don't even remember, to be honest with you. You know, I've made 125 of those videos and the thing I've tried not to do is ever repeat a joke, but I put them all together and it's like seven hours of one line.
John Clay Wolf
Oh, wow.
Caller/Guest
You know, it's two 287 jokes or something.
John Clay Wolf
How's that YouTube money? You know who opened my eyes to YouTube money was you, that day at lunch two years ago when we were sitting there and you were explaining to me your income off YouTube and Facebook and all that.
Caller/Guest
Yeah, my YouTube stays pretty steady. So between that Facebook and Tick Tock, I average anywhere from like four to five a month.
John Clay Wolf
From those four to $5,000. But that's on shorts. You can actually make some money on the long form videos.
Caller/Guest
Yeah, my, my podcast does okay on there. I have that hour long podcast I do weekly except last week because I was in Los Angeles having too much fun.
John Clay Wolf
You know, we're bringing in about 30,000amonth off of our YouTube. YouTube.
Caller/Guest
I believe that your, your long form videos are beautiful. Everything on them is absolutely gorgeous. You're shooting them right? You're, you're. Everything's framed, right?
John Clay Wolf
It looks colored sound. You know, it costs to do though. You know what it costs to do those videos?
Caller/Guest
Probably 60.
John Clay Wolf
It really does. We eat up all the money in production. Seriously. Yeah, yeah, because it takes four people to do it.
Caller/Guest
I'm like, I look at yours, I look at mine, I'm like, well, mine is one Guy in a garage and I very rarely ever pay me. So it's not too bad.
John Clay Wolf
Well, man, we look forward to seeing you next week. I'm throwing you a curveball. I don't know if you know this yet. I will not be here. Everybody else will. But I will be with Jay Leno and we're doing the show from Jay. I'm doing the show with Jay Leno from Jay Leno's garage next week. So I will have you on. I'll be remoted in right on. On a. On one podcast. So it'll sound like I'm there, but I'm not going to be here. And you know, killer, you're never there.
Caller/Guest
I never get to hang out with
John Clay Wolf
you anymore when I come completely screwed you. But, I mean, I got invited by Jay Leno on this date and had to be this date.
Caller/Guest
I'm like, yeah, I don't mind getting. I don't mind getting one up by Jay Leno.
John Clay Wolf
So we will see you. You will be in Walnut Springs playing Go. Go to where do they go?
Co-host/Producer
The Roadhouse for tickets.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah, just go to Walnut Springs roadhouse.com, get tickets for Jerry Wayne or just go to Walnut Springs Rally, get tickets for Jerry Wayne Longmire. If you're in Central Texas, come see him. And he's going to be on the show with us next Saturday also. I mean, Jerry's the only guy who I've ever had come replace me on a day that I couldn't be here, that you were the only person in 20 years that I've ever handed the microphone to and walked away and said, he can handle this and that'll happen again.
Caller/Guest
I like the way you did it where you didn't tell me about it till three minutes before the show. That was my favorite, favorite part of that.
Co-host/Producer
True. We did.
John Clay Wolf
You know, if he wants to do the first two hours. Yeah, if you want to get up real early and do New York City and Philly and all that. Because we were going to run replay in those first two hours because I'm not getting up at 3 in LA to do New York at 6. We'll talk about it when we get
Caller/Guest
off there early and do it. I need to sell tickets.
John Clay Wolf
All right, man. We'll be back in a minute. My name is John Clay Wolf. That's Jerry Wayne Longmire. Come see him live in Walnut Springs tonight, Texas at the Walnut Springs Roadhouse next Friday night. And he will be on the show next Saturday. And we will be live from John Jay Leno's garage as well. Be right back.
You're listening to the number one rated Saturday morning show in the country. This is the John Clay wolf show.
Co-host/Producer
The chaos has only just begun.
John Clay Wolf
Broadcasting live from the wolf radio studios, it's time for the John Clay wolf show.
Caller/Guest
Hit him up now.
John Clay Wolf
800, 800 radio.
I find your voice quite melodious.
800, 800 radio.
Christina Lang
Just like doing real methamphetamine now.
John Clay Wolf
John Clay wolf.
Quick shout out again. Mechanic. I need a mechanic at our Recon facility in St. Louis, Missouri. Go to gmtvgarage.com click email. John particularly classic and collector car mechanic would even be better. That's what you're going to be working on. So I don't need an electronic diag guy. I need somebody that's an all around cowboy. We are hiring right now a mechanic at our recon facility in St. Louis, Missouri. And all you'll be working on is classic and collector cars. And that job was available as of yesterday because we had to shoot somebody.
Co-host/Producer
Literally. No.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah, not that. But you know, let them go.
Co-host/Producer
Wait. I mean, a mechanic didn't cut it. No way. There's not. That's not possible. I mean, how many mechanics have worked here?
John Clay Wolf
It was not here. It's up there with. Not that many.
Co-host/Producer
Not that many?
John Clay Wolf
No.
I mean, over three years that fire chicken ate a few people, huh? How many?
Caller/Guest
Two. Three.
John Clay Wolf
Three. Three people?
Christina Lang
Four.
John Clay Wolf
Four. At least four. Yeah, but it's really the dumbass factor. It's just, you know, when, when you're desperate, you grab people that you normally wouldn't hire. And when you're out in the middle of the woods like this, you just grab. Where do you live? I live about 10 miles down the road. All right, you're hired.
Co-host/Producer
You're in, you know. Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
Because you can't be that picky. But now we've got some pretty good people. One of the better ones is a guy that lives four miles down the road. I'm like, where the hell have you been for three years? You know, and he's doing great.
Co-host/Producer
My favorite's the guy from Chicago that
John Clay Wolf
drove in the body man.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
The listener. Bill, the alcoholic.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah. Basically drink everything alcohol that you had at the saloon.
John Clay Wolf
Yes.
Co-host/Producer
You cleaned the joint out. I admire that. I mean, that's Texas. You got to be dedicated, man.
John Clay Wolf
So we had a listener in Chicago that was listening to me complain about restoring this car and he called in and said, hey, I can do this car. And I was like, okay. And the more he talked, the more he sounded like he Could. I'm sitting here, got off the radio one day, they call from the roadhouse in town, said, hey, there's a fellow here from Chicago looking for you. No joke. I talked to him on the radio. That was it. He got in the car and drove here. I was thinking, you know, he must not have had a lot going on, right. In his life if he called unannounced. He showed up with his tools. I gave him a place to stay. He started going, and then about took about four days.
Co-host/Producer
Four.
John Clay Wolf
And the guys were like, hey, man, this guy's an alcoholic. I'm like, well, you know, an alcoholic can be a good worker. Some of the best workers I've ever had are alcoholics. Let's give him a shot.
Co-host/Producer
I don't.
John Clay Wolf
It's not my job to measure his drinking. Yeah, right. Because an alcoholic knows if they've got a place where they will stay employed, if they just are functioning, then they. They'll stay with you for 30 years. So I'm like, hey, this might be a keeper. The alcoholic part did not turn me off at all. But he's a hardcore vodka alcoholic.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah. That's the end of the road.
John Clay Wolf
That's the end of the road. That's a difference, right? And he talked me into a lot of things, and they just got to the point where they're just like, he's just wasted all the time. So I had to give a. Oh. And he was at the cantina in town, in the roadhouse, making an ass of himself, being all drunk at the bar several times.
Co-host/Producer
That's not good. Yeah, vodka's.
John Clay Wolf
So we had to pull a gun out and say, bill, it's been nice to see you, but, yeah, like time travel.
Co-host/Producer
You remind me so much of Jackie Brown when you talk about your rapid turnover rate. Sometimes times like you remember, okay, Samuel Jackson takes De Niro to the back of his car and opens a trunk, right? And De Niro says, who's that? And Sammy Jackson. Just as. As plain as. As an employee. I had to let go.
John Clay Wolf
Can I tell y' all something?
Sure.
I'm trying to hire a mechanic in St. Louis, right? And y' all aren't helping a damn thing.
Co-host/Producer
Hey, you're the one said, you shoot them, man.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah, I said, we have had to shoot somebody.
Co-host/Producer
Somebody blew brain my brains out right
John Clay Wolf
there. It was for good reason.
Co-host/Producer
Oh, Mount ain't got a doing time kind of sensibility.
They need to know what they're getting into.
So how do they.
John Clay Wolf
I can tell you the guy that manages the recon shop up there is a more. Prof. He's, he's. It's a good place. They're good at what they do. They're really good at.
Co-host/Producer
How do they apply?
John Clay Wolf
They go to gmtvgarage.com click email John and I'll get you in touch with the owner of that recon facility up there that's got the cars and we work with him and it's a class act. Very classic. Okay. Chris in North Carolina. 75 vet 85,000mile t top four speed. So it's a stick shift.
Caller/Guest
Yes.
John Clay Wolf
On a scale of 1 to 10, these cars aren't worth a lot of money. You know that already. How not how nice is it because they just made so many of those C4 vets. Wait. One, two, three. C3 vis. Yeah, sorry.
Caller/Guest
I would say it's a good eight, especially what's been done to it.
John Clay Wolf
Okay. The, the, the four. The four speed stroked out to a 383. That doesn't really know the spoiler kit. So is it like a shark kit or something? A mako shark?
Caller/Guest
Yeah, kind of. A little spoiler across. It's got a wing across the back and then the, around the back and then the hood. I mean, excuse me, around the sides and the hood. Little, little. I have to give you the pictures. I don't know.
John Clay Wolf
I just sent your phone number. I just took a picture of your phone number and sent it to my agent, hot rod Kyle. And he's gonna call you and you send him those pictures and you'll make a deal. He knows those vets like the backside of his hand. And you know how you learn what those vets are worth? You know, you really learn, you lose your ass. And he's lost his ass on enough of them. He knows now. We'll be right back. Thank you for calling. My name is John Clay Wolf by cars and RVs. If you got an RV, a big bus, million dollar bus, $200,000 bus or a $5,000 bumper pull or a $20,000 bumper pull or gooseneck. Go to givemetheven.com we also buy RVs. John Clay Wolf
Good morning America. Good morning, California. We're joining our number one in la, in San Diego, in Seattle, in Portland.
Caller/Guest
And we're gonna go all the way. Right?
John Clay Wolf
Yeah, I think we're on In Iowa.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah. J.D.
John Clay Wolf
can you find Iowa affiliates? Denver, have you. I need to Iowa for a reason.
Caller/Guest
God.
John Clay Wolf
I've got a reason. I'm mentioning Iowa. Bobo, have you ever heard of American Pickers?
Co-host/Producer
Oh, sure.
John Clay Wolf
Do you know the Wolf Brothers?
Sure.
Co-host/Producer
Right. Can you find it?
Yeah, I've got it right here. Davenport.
John Clay Wolf
Davenport, Iowa.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
Now, it's a different set of brothers than I think I remember from when I used to watch the show.
John Clay Wolf
Well, the one guy passed away. His name's Frank, I believe.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
And then Mike brought his brother Rob into the fray, so Rob replaced Frank.
Co-host/Producer
Right.
John Clay Wolf
But Rob actually was working with Frank before Mike ever knew him. So Rob started this thing and their dad was kind of a picker. And then the TV show started and Rob didn't do the. Robbie didn't do the TV show because he was busy, like with life and kids and working, and he didn't have time.
Co-host/Producer
Right.
John Clay Wolf
And now, you know, 20 years later, whatever it was then when Frank passed away, Rob said, hell, I'll do it now.
Caller/Guest
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
And they're in Iowa. And this is Rob. Rob, good morning.
Caller/Guest
What's going on, guys?
John Clay Wolf
How are you? Did I explain all that correctly?
Caller/Guest
I don't know if you explained it directly. My brother and Frank and I were friends all the way back to probably middle school days. And I was actually. You did explain that I was raising a family, had a different company to run, but I've always been a picker. I've been an antique dealer for over 40 years. So I'm right up there with you, John.
John Clay Wolf
Ah, so he.
Caller/Guest
Rob.
John Clay Wolf
Rob has a killer event coming up soon called Rust Belt America. What's it called?
Caller/Guest
Rust belt Americana. August 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th. It's at east Moline, one of the biggest antique shows in the country. The best of the best comes out.
John Clay Wolf
And that is coming up. And I know. What city are you in right now? Where do you all live?
Caller/Guest
I'm in Davenport, Iowa.
John Clay Wolf
Okay, so what station are we on in Davenport, Iowa?
Co-host/Producer
106.5.
John Clay Wolf
If you put it on 106.5, Rob, you will hear your little voice. We just.
Caller/Guest
This is.
John Clay Wolf
This is our second week up there. We just started our big national syndication with 120 stations last Saturday.
Caller/Guest
Awesome.
John Clay Wolf
So Rob. Rob and I met through Chip Foose and we. And I. The first time I ever saw you, I was watching Rollins went up and was jacking with you about six months ago and walked through your building, and y' all had enough beers to start arguing over what you'll take for the whole damn thing.
Caller/Guest
Yeah. Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
Or he brought that, actually, and he was offering you a million dollars for everything. And he. You were like, dude, come on now. For. You know, I needed.
Caller/Guest
I needed a million five. And he came up to a million two, and I walked away.
John Clay Wolf
Were you willing to sell the property and the stuff for a million five?
Caller/Guest
Well, we had a discrepancy on how many vehicles I had. I go, these vehicles aren't going with it for that kind of money. So he wanted the interior. So, you know, Richard is. That's just what. That's just kind of how it shakes out. And, you know, I. I don't. I don't need to sell it. It's my little. It's my little, you know, daytime fun place.
John Clay Wolf
I want you. You know what I want you to do? And I'm. The next time you're down here, I'm going to drag you down here. I'm going to show you this place. We're going to fill. I've got the place for you to put your Texas store in. In Walnut Springs, Texas. And I know I've been beating on you about that. I can't wait to show it to you.
Co-host/Producer
You.
John Clay Wolf
But anyway, Rob called me on a car month ago. We bought it. I'm going to sell it. This coming up, I think February, I mean, July 29th, at Manheim, Dallas, in our classic collector sale. That 442, I think it was a 66 model.
Caller/Guest
Yeah. Convertible.
John Clay Wolf
Right. And then. And then you called me on a little Ferrari toy car the other day,
Caller/Guest
and I was going to ask, hopefully you send that to auction.
John Clay Wolf
How are we paying? Are we paying slow? Are we paying fast? When we do these deals, hell, you
Caller/Guest
guys pay me, right? Chloe is the salt of the earth, man. She's great to deal with. She's Johnny on the spot, man. She's like, boom. Yeah. You know, takes care of things asap.
John Clay Wolf
My grand. My Granddad was a smart ass, and he taught me something a long time ago. He said, confucius say, fast pay equal, longtime friend.
Caller/Guest
Well, it's true.
John Clay Wolf
It's true.
Caller/Guest
And I've been in business for 45 years. That's how it works. I mean, these. These people that I've dealt with, people over the last 40 years that, you know, they drag that stuff on. It's just. That's not how you do business. My grandfather said, you buy something, you pay for it. Even if you make a mistake, you buy it, you pay for it, and you take your loss. Yep.
John Clay Wolf
And do it quickly, because then you will get the phone call faster. You'll. You'll. You'll get the first phone call every time. Because they know the sec. If you make a deal, they're getting paid immediately. And there's no BS.
Caller/Guest
Yes.
John Clay Wolf
And it just. I mean, really, the whole give me the VIN company is built on that moniker and do what you say you're gonna do when you say you're gonna do it. This is Rob Wolf from American Pickers. He was actually. I just. I just asked him to call into the show because he was pitching me a car. And I've got the video of it you sent me. I sent it to my video man. What have you got?
Caller/Guest
I got a 53 Chevy straight six. One owner, all original paint, an original interior, and it needs absolutely nothing. Zero. It's probably one of the nicest ones on the planet.
John Clay Wolf
What's this Ford truck that's also in the video?
Caller/Guest
Oh, the 79 Ford short bed. That came from an oil company out of Cedar Rapids. And it's a one owner straight six. It needs absolutely nothing. It's literally that nice of a truck. Mean. And, you know, John, you know, everybody's looking for short bets. Yep. Everybody.
Co-host/Producer
They're good.
Caller/Guest
Yeah. What about. As long as they're not all hacked up. This one was one owner, one family. It came from an oil company. They used to deliver oil in this truck.
John Clay Wolf
How much is my price on the truck?
Caller/Guest
The truck I'd sell to you for 8,500 bucks.
John Clay Wolf
Okay, that's sold.
Caller/Guest
I made it easy.
John Clay Wolf
So tell Cello. Just send her a text, and she'll send you the money Monday morning. The.
Caller/Guest
The.
John Clay Wolf
The car worries me in where I sell cars because I don't do very well with what I call happy days cars, because this would be the Cunningham's driveway back in the 60s. And how. What. What do you need out of the car? Because I bet I'm not the right guy.
Caller/Guest
16:5 to you. And they bring all day long, 25,000 in California. These are the cars that all the guys in California want. Want. They want to lower them, they want to do their stuff to them. This car's turnkey though, John. I mean, literally turnkey.
John Clay Wolf
Is it more of a Hispanic buyer?
Caller/Guest
Yeah. I mean the Hispanic guys out in California would jump up and down to get these things. I mean, I think if I.
John Clay Wolf
Hispanic guys in California? Well, you're on a station right now that has plenty of Hispanic guys in California and Hispanic guys in California that want to buy this car. Go to gmtvgarage.com and send me an email and I'll forward it to Rob. And you can go back and watch@jcwshow.com on YouTube and you can see this car, what it is right now. But I bet we can sell it for you. I don't have the confidence in that one for what I do, but I agree with what you're saying, so.
Caller/Guest
But dude, you and I go back and forth about everything and that's fine. I'm all about your. Just. I actually drive that car probably three times a week.
John Clay Wolf
Okay, you're not going. How much is that Woody in the, in the, in the. I think you. You're not talking.
Caller/Guest
Woody is. That's a whole nother animal. That's a 41 mercury. It needs literally nothing. We. The only thing we did to it, we put a two speed transmission in it and that's it. But it probably one of the only ones left on the planet. That's original paint, right? You gotta remember this is just before the war. They weren't making a lot of these cars. And this was sold to a guy. I got it out of the east coast probably eight or nine years ago. And it's got original interior, original wood, original engine, everything to it.
John Clay Wolf
Did you notice Turley? He said everything. But how much? Huh?
Caller/Guest
I'd have to. Listen, I'm gonna. I'll tell you right now, I'd have to get at least 55,000 out of it. That'd be the best I could do.
John Clay Wolf
I sold a good one. Not saying that's not.
Caller/Guest
Yeah, the Woody market's kind of soft right now.
John Clay Wolf
I saw. If you want to buy Woody, Rob Wolf and What's your website?
Caller/Guest
R.J. wolf Picker. But basically you can just look me up on Instagram or message me on Facebook. My phone number's out there to the world.
John Clay Wolf
Okay.
Caller/Guest
I'm like you, John. I understand. Easily accessible.
John Clay Wolf
Hey, you're not gonna be in California next week. Are you? Because I'm gonna be doing the show from Jay Leno's garage with Jay.
Caller/Guest
Oh, I'd love to tell Jay I said hello, but I. No, listen, I've got so much going on here, you know, Think about all the people that work for you, John. Yeah, I have. Everything I do is all by myself. I'm a one man show.
John Clay Wolf
And you got to put this event together.
Caller/Guest
And I got put the event together, but I also have another event I do prior to that. The one thing about that event that most people don't know is it's a non profit. I take not one red nickel out of that because we give it all back to education. Every single nickel goes back to education every year. We raised one, say 150,000 last year, went back to education. It goes to scholarships for kids that don't have the ability to do it.
John Clay Wolf
So Rob Wolf is who you're talking to from American Pickers and he is having Rust belt Americana in the beginning of August, like the second week of August. Is that correct?
Caller/Guest
Okay, all you gotta do is look
John Clay Wolf
up rustbeltamericana.com if you're, if you love antiques. You, you know, you made a comment the other day that I'd never heard. Oil and what'd you say? Oil and gas. Like these signs are oil and gas. But these, you know, this segment is.
Caller/Guest
Well, oil and gas is always there, but we, we've got the antiques that come out to this show. So the oil and gas guys are there and there's plenty of those Richmond auctions is doing the auction out there. It's going to be one of the bigger auctions. There'll be some world record pieces. That Richmond auction is going to set again. I mean, they already did a 1 point, what, 4 million dollar sign late last year.
John Clay Wolf
God almighty. The signage and the road art is what's crazy. And I'm enjoying, you know, Rollins is really into that. Obviously you're really into that. And I'm in chips into it too. And I'm learning about it. I just don't have the confidence in these signs. I mean, when you, when you buy a sign for 50 grand and sell it for 55, then you get some confidence. I just don't have that confidence yet. But I'll get it.
Co-host/Producer
I'll get it.
John Clay Wolf
Dude, I've got to run the break. We got a jump. You're good and I appreciate it. Tell Cello to pick up the Ford truck we just bought.
Caller/Guest
Well, I'll tell her. I'll send her the title information on the 79 Ford.

Caller/Guest
Yes, sir, it is blue.
John Clay Wolf
How long have you had it?
Caller/Guest
He's had it for probably two or three years. I can't remember if he said the restoration or the paint was four years old.
John Clay Wolf
It's 20 grand.
Caller/Guest
That's what he's asking. But I told him it was worth more than that. The last one I've seen go at auction.
Co-host/Producer
Who's who?
John Clay Wolf
Who's the guy that. I mean, we deal with?
Caller/Guest
The owner, he's an older gentleman. He bought it just to flip it.
John Clay Wolf
Okay, so here's what I'll do with you. So you're just the middleman, right?
Caller/Guest
Right. If you're interested, I'll give you his name and number and you can talk with him directly. Okay, Gentlemen. And he doesn't know how to do any of this.
John Clay Wolf
If I get a deal done. If I get a deal done. I'm gonna give you a 500 bird dog fee. Do you know what that means?
Caller/Guest
Well, I like finder's fee.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Is that. Do you want that?
Caller/Guest
I'm a mobile mechanic. It was so nice that I seen it in my mirror when I hung the left. I seen it in my mirror and I turned around and went back to look at it. All right.
John Clay Wolf
Good. All right. I'm gonna try to buy it.
Caller/Guest
Pictures of the trunk. Trunk bands. I got pictures of the inside, outside of the running, everything.
John Clay Wolf
I'm gonna buy it and I'm gonna put you on hold. Pre K, take number four and get the guy's information of the owner so we can get this car bought. Thank you, man. Okay, there's one. 87 square body, two whee. Original two wheel drive. Has it listed 11,000. James, is it long bed or short bed?
Caller/Guest
It is a long bed.
John Clay Wolf
It's probably five grand truck. Then
Caller/Guest
this is probably up.
John Clay Wolf
I'm just not gonna. I. I do this for a living. I do it all day. I know what I'm talking about. They're just. They. They either are the thing or they're not the thing. And that is not the thing. If it's really nice, but it says it's all original. If it's super nice and it's two tone and all that. Go to givemetheven.com and load it up. Let's see some pictures. But I mean, Turley, you bought that short bed for 7,000. You lost money on it.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah, yeah, you're right.
Caller/Guest
It's 5,000.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah. I mean, that's just what it is. It is what it is. All right. We'll be right back. My name is John Clay Wolf by Cars Radio America's best car buyer. GiveMeTheven.com Go to GiveMeTheven.com if you would like. Like to sell yours right now. Corvettes, Ferraris, diesel trucks, Jeeps, all of it. If we don't beat a Carmax or a Carvana, we're just like Carmax and Carvana. I've been doing this for 30 years. If we don't beat one of their deals, we'll send you a check for a hundred dollars for the opportunity. But something different about us than they is. We have a separate department that does exotic cars. I'm very fluent in exotic, exotic cars. Gave it 850, 000 for a Porsche 812 a couple of days ago. Gave 770,000. I said a Porsche. I'm in a Ferrari 812 last week because they're different MSRPs and different paint to sample paint to sample Porsches. Anyway, we, we have that button in us and Lamborghinis and Countaches and all that stuff. And we also do classic and collector cars and a lot of those go to a different department. We also do RVs. So we do a lot@givemetheven.com but our mainstay is regular cars, Cadillacs and Buicks and Hondas and Toyotas and all that stuff. Anyway, go to givemetheven.com if you'd like to sell yours. And thank you for tuning in. And we will be right back after this song. Good morning, California. What's up, west coast? Portland, Seattle. This is our second week up there with y'.
Co-host/Producer
All.
John Clay Wolf
Vegas, of course, you're a mainstay. And Phoenix, Hey, Phoenix. Phoenix, we've got an office in your town we want to buy cars with you we want to do business with you. We'll be right back. An epidemic is sweeping across our once great nation and its name,
the John Clay Wolf Show.
Another thing I didn't like about Tiger
Co-host/Producer
woods, in my opinion, was the quality of his women. First of all, you got a half a billion dollars. I think, I think women should match your lifestyle. Okay, first of all, fellas, you gotta
Caller/Guest
learn how to cheat.
Co-host/Producer
Stop cheating with the bull, okay? You gotta cheat smart. First, you never cheat down. You cheat up. Okay, Cheat down on your lady is some disrespectful. That is just disrespectful.
John Clay Wolf
We now return to the John Clay Wolf Show. Hit him up on the cell phones. 800, 800 radio and check out the podcast and you jcwshow.com.
good Morning America. We're back. Good to see you. Thanks for tuning in. We're excited to be on these new stations across the country. A lot of you guys have been with us for years and there's a lot of new ones out there today to wonder what the hell we are and who the hell we are. Just stay tuned. You go to jcwshow.com and see the live stream video as well with audio. William Shatner did something weird because he's old and rich and famous.
Co-host/Producer
95 years old, cancer survivor. He's going on, he's gonna go on a concert tour doing his heavy metal band. Heavy metal band. Listen to this cut. Actually, it's called called Rage cut number three.
John Clay Wolf
I push every limit Broke every rule
Caller/Guest
Ever since my day in school I lived my life beyond the edge Roll the bells drop jump off the ledge.
Co-host/Producer
This is heavy Metal, Right.
That's what he's calling heavy metal. The thing is called Riot Fest 2020.
John Clay Wolf
So when he's going on tour, he's telling people what he wants as his writer, like his things. He must have to become comfortable on location.
Co-host/Producer
These are requirements from the city of Chicago alone. This is Chicago.
John Clay Wolf
You mean for his Chicago stop?
Co-host/Producer
Correct.
Okay.
Chicago must name a boat in his honor.
Caller/Guest
What?
Co-host/Producer
Yeah, they have to have a food also named after William Shatner.
Caller/Guest
This is.
Co-host/Producer
This is. The city has to come up with this. Shatner wants to sing Take Me out to the Ball Game at the Chicago baseball game, by the way, he doesn't care whether it's the White Sox or the Cubs.
Oh, that's good.
Very nice of him. Now, these are the requirements for the actual Riot Fest for the concert. Let's see. He has to have a fire breather on stage during the performance.
Caller/Guest
Oh,
Co-host/Producer
it's Shatner's artist. Golf cart needs to be replaced. You know how they zip them around in golf carts? Okay, well, he doesn't want a golf cart. He wants a DeLorean, just like the one from Back to the Future. And he also wants four. This is my favorite. Four feet of Polish sausage and a bowl of sauerkraut.
John Clay Wolf
Could you imagine the cable that he'll lay after he eats four feet of Polish sausage?
Co-host/Producer
Right. Hey, but look at some of the acts that are playing that Riot Festo. This is the biggest. I mean, the biggest, baddest concert in a while in Chicago.
Let's see here.
John Clay Wolf
So he's just. He's just gotten to a point where he's just being ridiculous just to see how far he can take himself.
Co-host/Producer
And they're actually doing it.
Yep.
John Clay Wolf
And here we are sitting here talking about it.
Co-host/Producer
That's amazing.
John Clay Wolf
We need to do something stupid like that. Speech impediment, Terence.
Co-host/Producer
There you go.
John Clay Wolf
Do you have any good ideas where we could do something stupid like that?
Caller/Guest
No, I'm just some stupid. Like. No, not really. I don't know. Well, I said stories and standing out.
John Clay Wolf
Okay.
Caller/Guest
New York.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah.
Caller/Guest
Smoke from Canada, be back in Pittsburgh. Our Mexico is Canada. You know, people ran away to go to Canada to avoid any trouble. Like, down here to avoid any drug trouble or anything like that. They go to Mexico down here. And where I grew up, on our side, I was born premature on Miami Beach. Made in the day. Miami Beach, Florida. On beach, baby. I was born with epilepsy. And I was born in the Sunshine States. Okay, maybe you can think of something for Sunshine State, like John Clay Wolf show and Sunshine State, but they're saying that Niagara Falls is a known landmark for New York.
John Clay Wolf
All right, thank you for that hate speech.
Caller/Guest
Thanks. Pittsburgh too.
John Clay Wolf
Perfect. Thank you for the update. Thank you. Hello, Goodbye speech. I gotta put you back on hold. Okay, so, Philip and Corpus, what was your message? Real quick. Philip, are you still there? Nope.
Caller/Guest
Oh, yes. I'm sorry.
John Clay Wolf
Hey, you're on. What was your message?
Caller/Guest
I was just integrating on that one segment you had where you hired that gentleman that came with his tools, that he was an alcoholic.
John Clay Wolf
Yep.
Caller/Guest
Yeah, there's a lot of functionable alcoholics out there. You know when you got a bad one and he becomes a drunk and he steals all your alcohol? I've been in this industry ever since I was 10 years old. I'm 59. I do custom upholstery. All right, well, yeah, so bring your
John Clay Wolf
drunk ass up here and. And smoke over some cars for us.
Caller/Guest
Hey, you know what? I might just go pay you a visit one day. Sir.
John Clay Wolf
Go to gmtvgarage.com and hit email. John. Yeah, sounds good. And guys, also St. Louis. We need mechanics at our recon center in St. Louis. Most, if not all of the work will be on classic and collector cars in the recon facility in St. Louis. And we are hiring right now for that job in St. Louis. Go to gmtvgarage.com and click email. John, give me your contact information and I'll get you to the manager up there. 8008-0072-3480-0800 radio.
Co-host/Producer
We were long in the last segment, so we're short here.
John Clay Wolf
So, you know the spam calls and the robocalls came back.
Co-host/Producer
No.
What?
John Clay Wolf
A little bit. But then I went to Incogni and updated it and it starts smoking them out again.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah, that's great.
John Clay Wolf
It's weird. It's like. Do you have my report?
Co-host/Producer
I have had that experience myself. Yeah.
Caller/Guest
Your.
Co-host/Producer
Your current report from Incogni is in. Here's a. Here's what we got. Total brokers covered. 411.
John Clay Wolf
That means the brokers that were selling my name and contact information.
Co-host/Producer
One suppressed. 75. So still some work to go there. They're monitoring 120 to see if they're harmful in progress. 216. You got a lot of them scheduled over the front. They send you this report. It's like a bar graph on the bottom. Custom removals. Six. Those are. Some of.
John Clay Wolf
These are the ones I put in
Co-host/Producer
you've asked about and total time saved. This is what makes me feel so good about the whole thing with incogni. 628 hours 30 minutes. Go to J Save not having to screw with it.
John Clay Wolf
Jcwshow.com scroll down to the bottom. There's a link that says incogni. Stop robo and spam calls and come contacts. Click that. You get a 40% discount. 6060 discount by coming through our referral and they will hook you up. They hooked everybody on the show up and it made a big difference. That's incog. Go to jcwshow.com and click through to the Incogni link. If you're sick and tired of these son of a blowing you up all day. Cuz I am sick and tired of it. And so we got them on board and they fixed it. Be right back.
Caller/Guest
Foreign.
John Clay Wolf
We now return to the John Clay Wolf show, America's largest weekend morning Show. Call in 800800 radio. Check out the podcast@jcwshow.com or John Claywolf.com and now Senor Juan Clay Wolf.
Bridget in St. Charles, Missouri.
Co-host/Producer
There.
Christina Lang
Yes, yes I am.
John Clay Wolf
What have you got for us?
Christina Lang
I have got a little 2005 T Bird Roadster.
John Clay Wolf
Okay, how many miles?
Christina Lang
31,055.
John Clay Wolf
What color?
Christina Lang
Black.
Caller/Guest
It's the luxury black with the black interior, leather interior.
Christina Lang
It's got removable top and the rag top, both black. Also has a rolling card for the removable top.
John Clay Wolf
How much is it?
Christina Lang
I would like to get 34 for for it.
John Clay Wolf
Where did you get that price?
Christina Lang
A friend of mine that actually bought
Caller/Guest
a red one not too long ago paid 36.
John Clay Wolf
Golly. I wish I'd have known your friend when she was ready to spend that much money. I would have never priced it at that point. I don't have the balls to price it that high. But literally, I sell these cars for 11 12. Seriously. And I'm not really bluffing. I'm not being mean. I'm just telling you facts. It's like if you have Apple stock and it's worth a hundred dollars a share, that would be like you saying I want $300 for mine. And I'm not saying the only reason you think that is because what your friend told you. There's probably a discrepancy somewhere in what your friend told you. Hopefully maybe that maybe they had a 57t bird. But yeah, these cars have not recovered. They're not. They made too many of them. That 050-203-0405T bird. They're 10 grand rigs. 1011 grand rigs. I mean if it has like 80,000 miles it's 7 grand.
Caller/Guest
Oh, you're kidding.
John Clay Wolf
No, buy them all. We buy them all the time. And givemetheven.com. that's the market on it. Thank you for calling in and thank you. Go shop around to Carmax and Carvana and then come back to give me the vin.com and let's. I mean, if you're not going to take market for it, then don't bother. But like most people just want to. They. They just want what something's worth, right? They just want the right price. And where I'm talking is definitely the right price. And that will get proven when you shop at a couple other places.
Caller/Guest
So what would you give me for 11 grand? 11 grand. Okay, well, I will get back with you.
John Clay Wolf
Thank you, man.
Co-host/Producer
Man, you're so nice.
John Clay Wolf
John, it's 11's too much.
Co-host/Producer
No, no, I know. That's what I'm saying. But you were nice to me, to her when she said 35,000. Because the old John. How would old John done that? J.D.
Caller/Guest
are you crazy?
Co-host/Producer
Are you out of your mind? Why are you wasting my time?
John Clay Wolf
We've got new people we don't want to ruin. We don't want them all to think we're a bunch of jerks. We've got all these new stations. I got to be careful. Hey, there's a guy that said, where can I hear you from? Washogle Motorcycle race. And it would be KFBW FM 105.9, I think, out of Portland.
Co-host/Producer
There you go.
John Clay Wolf
Wash, Wash a goal. That's one of the national MX races around the country. I'm very familiar with circuit. 8008-0072-3480-0800 radio. So there's a diarrhea epidemic.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
Going on from produce lettuce. Taco Bell's gotten some of the brunt of it because they're lettuce. It's a parasite.
Co-host/Producer
Correct.
John Clay Wolf
So you need to be cooking your produce right now, whatever that means. You can't really cook salad. I guess. You can wash it. You got to do more than wash it. No, you gotta eat it.
Co-host/Producer
It's not enough.
No, it's enough for me because I don't.
John Clay Wolf
What's it called?
Co-host/Producer
Oh, the parasite.
John Clay Wolf
Parasite. I guess it really doesn't matter.
Co-host/Producer
Exploding diarrhea.
John Clay Wolf
It's explosive diarrhea. And it's real. If you have it, please call in right now. We really want to talk about it. 8008-0072-3480-0800, 7234. 800, 800 radio. I would like to hear how bad this is because it's in the news. Pretty heavy.
Co-host/Producer
When they say explosive, that just sort of gives you an idea.
John Clay Wolf
That gives you an idea how bad it is. It's like tannerite coming out your ying yang. No boom. Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam just walked in. Eddie Veter. What are you doing?
Caller/Guest
Eddie?
John Clay Wolf
Have you heard about the Explosive Diarrhea Studio? It's always a pleasure to have you come by.
Co-host/Producer
I had a hard time. Had a hard time.
Oh, did you get the.
I got Seattle letters.
Oh, no.
Then you had girls. Attention Taco Bell somewhere else. Let us feel one coming right now.
Caller/Guest
Go.
Co-host/Producer
No.
Well, drop it.
Start up your band. Play some music for me to sing with. Or just skip it.
Caller/Guest
Wait, wait.
Co-host/Producer
You have a song?
Yes, he does.
Oh, okay. I didn't know he had a song.
Yes, he does.
John Clay Wolf
Oh, look at this.
Co-host/Producer
Oh, here it comes. Yeah, you better hurry because you know,
John Clay Wolf
he might crap himself.
Caller/Guest
Right? I know.
Co-host/Producer
Don't.
John Clay Wolf
Don't do that.
Co-host/Producer
Head down to find my lunch on a highway Taco Bell's delicious. Get the quesadillas have a cheddar cheese burrito and a big old cassava fire sauce Hot sauce on my taco Get
Caller/Guest
a Baja blast
Co-host/Producer
Taste a drink for my vocal cords Keep me wet inside with my tacos.
Caller/Guest
Oh, oh, oh.
Co-host/Producer
What happened?
20 minutes later start to hit me
Caller/Guest
feel.
Co-host/Producer
I caught up. Parasite.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah.
Co-host/Producer
I come down with explosive diarrhea. Hurt my tum inside.
John Clay Wolf
I. Ah,
Co-host/Producer
There went another one. Been going on for nine days now I can't feel my toes. It hurts my nose cuz Smells so bad. With explosive parasite.
Right.
Caller/Guest
Good job.
John Clay Wolf
God bless you, Eddie.
Caller/Guest
Wow.
John Clay Wolf
Eddie, if you don't mind doing your business downstairs instead of in the studio, cuz remember that time, Strip Club D.J. you were in the studio, Eddie. Strip Club D.J. had something going on like some gallbladder thing. And he.
Co-host/Producer
I just did that at your water closet over here. Hope you don't mind.
John Clay Wolf
God. Do you remember that, smart ass? It was so bad, we had to stop the show, put on a song and left the studio.
Co-host/Producer
The guy that worked on phones for a screener, big old guy.
John Clay Wolf
£330.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah, at least.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah, maybe four.
Co-host/Producer
Let go a little bit of quantity at a time.
Yeah. And he went to the bathroom. And this is during the show. John stops down, says what?
John Clay Wolf
Somebody farted.
Co-host/Producer
You literally said somebody farted and it would just stop.
John Clay Wolf
The show just kept going. Oh, yeah, it just got. It was like burning your skin.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah, it was the creeper thing. Yeah, you don't want to get that on your teeth.
John Clay Wolf
I'm a showman. I'll. I'll go through the storm. But I couldn't make it through this one.
Co-host/Producer
No.
John Clay Wolf
It was disgusting.
Co-host/Producer
I'll never forget that.
John Clay Wolf
His tenure did not last that long after that. No, I never forgot it. I had a chip on my shoulder and I. I started poking at him to get rid of him.
Co-host/Producer
You shipped him out to Louisiana to deliver pizzas? Actually first, before they deliver, delivered cars. And then he turned out to just started delivering.
John Clay Wolf
He was delivering pizzas at night in our car. And then he broke his foot in Louisiana delivering a pizza walking across someone's lawn. And then he wanted to file workman's comp on us.
Co-host/Producer
That's right, because he was using our car.
John Clay Wolf
He was using my car basically illegally. But since he was using it during his pizza run, he broke his foot. And then he sued us, didn't he?
Co-host/Producer
That was the day. Yes. The damnedest lawsuit. I mean, we've had some weird ones with that one. That, that, yeah, that cuts top right off. Oh, yeah.
Caller/Guest
Oh my God.
Co-host/Producer
I hope Eddie's okay.
John Clay Wolf
What have you got, boss time set
Co-host/Producer
up for something real quick. This has been kind of fun. 65 year old guy that got flipped by that big old buffalo this week. This man caught on video, he walks up to a bison. First of all, mistake number one. You don't ever do that. And the photographer that just happened to catch it, Mike McLeod, talked to CNN and speculated on what may have caused the bison to get upset other than the 65 year old man walking up to him. Cut number four.
John Clay Wolf
Well, for one, the truck you just saw in the video honking its horn
and then squealing its tires.
And what he wondered, is it if that kind of trigger an angry response. The bison's charging at them. And then he said something to his grandson.
Christina Lang
What did he say?
Caller/Guest
Well, they had just walked down from an arboretum in the park. And so he yelled at his grandson
John Clay Wolf
to get in the ditch and go right back up to the arboretum and hide. And then Carl lured the bison in the exact opposite direction.
Co-host/Producer
God, they tell, they'll tell you to stay 100 to 200, 200 yards away from these guys because they're monstrous.
Yeah, this clip won the Internet for sure for the week.
But oh, it's so great.
John Clay Wolf
What is he doing?
Co-host/Producer
Trying to hide behind a tree.
Right.
Like that's gonna really do anything.
I'm gonna run over here and.
And that hiding behind the trees lasted quite a few seconds, actually. He told his grandson to go this way. Then he ran that way through the trees and he kind of ran around like a little game.
Man, they're so athletic. I didn't realize how agile they are.
Very fat.
Cutting that bison cuts back, cuts through the tree, weaves through and flips.
They can run as fast as a deer and they will flip your ass.
He got flipped.
Caller/Guest
All right.
Co-host/Producer
They say. They say minimum of 100 yards away from at all times.
Did he just. What?
John Clay Wolf
But a broken leg is all my cripple ass. I mean, I need 300 yards that someone start coming to me.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
So I need a minute to get. Get out of here.
Co-host/Producer
It's amazing it didn't kill him. Look at that video.
John Clay Wolf
That is a great hang time shot.
I mean.
I mean, if that was a dive, I'd give him a 9.5.
Co-host/Producer
Jcwshow.com.
John Clay Wolf
yeah. That's where you can see the film.
Co-host/Producer
Seen the memes of the blue angels flying over the beach. And they have that guy on the beach flying.
You know, they say for what? For the impact. And he was. He grew up behind there. All he got was like, he broke his femur in four places.
Dude, I would have been dead. Yeah, dead.
John Clay Wolf
We'll be right back. Hey, guy that just called in with the Buick, please go to givemetheven.com and load it up because we do like those cars and we do want to
try to buy it.
I noticed you just left the holding thing. We've got parasite people that have the diarrhea calling in 800-800-7 2, 3, 4. I want to hear about how you got it and how long it lasts. We will be back. Uno momento, por favor. Givemetheven.com if you'd like to sell your car. My name is John Clay wolf and I will be right back. I don't wanna be the bad guy. I don't wanna do your sleep walk dance anymore. I just wanna see.
Broadcasting live from the wolf radio studios, it's time for the John Clay wolf show. From coast to coast, the largest weekend morning show heard all across America. Hit him up, Dan. Now, 800, 800 radio. Now, John Clay wolf.
What's the name of this song? That's pretty edgy. What year did it come out? You think, like, guess what year it aired?
Co-host/Producer
I want to say maybe that was about 76.
John Clay Wolf
Would they air it on the radio? I have no idea.
Co-host/Producer
Depends on the station. Back then there were some rock stations starting to come up.
Caller/Guest
Yep.
Co-host/Producer
Later on the zone zoo. Damn sure that's what you know, that's when Elton John did his. The back around the same time, you know. Yeah, your English rockers began to be a little Bowie. You know, Bowie went out on the edge. Him and Iggy Pop went to Germany and made those weird albums. You know, the station to station album. Your English rockers, man, in the. In the mid late 70s. I don't know, something about the Eagles, man, really pissed him off. And they started like. Yeah, they got an edge. They got their edge back.
John Clay Wolf
Got their edge back. We were talking, speaking about getting your edge back. This parasites been going around the country and giving people explosive diarrhea. A roy down in Baton Rouge. Did you catch it?
Caller/Guest
Yes, I'm still on the tail end of it. After three weeks.
John Clay Wolf
Three weeks?
Caller/Guest
Oh, yes. It's so bad I started taking some Ivermectin.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah.
Co-host/Producer
Did it work?
Caller/Guest
Every now and then I do it. It's working.
John Clay Wolf
So where do you think you got it? Do you have any idea how you got.
Caller/Guest
Sure ain't Taco Bell, I guess. Eating a hamburger somewhere got lettuce on it. We got a saying for that down here. What and call that the hot swa.
John Clay Wolf
Keep on keeping on, man. Sorry, you're running it out your Carter in Borger, Texas. You got it too?
Caller/Guest
Yes, bad man. I got it bad.
John Clay Wolf
Do you know where you. How you got it?
Caller/Guest
I think it was the pizza nacho plate up there at Taco Bell. The ladies up there that served me the food were real nice. But I tell you what, I've had the cold sweat. I got some stuff that. That y' all don't want.
John Clay Wolf
How long?
Caller/Guest
I've. I've considered taking a few cc's of ict. Just try to shake this bug. Oh, it's almost worse to get divided to the neighborhood potluck.
John Clay Wolf
How long have you had it?
Caller/Guest
About three days now. I feel like I just got it.
John Clay Wolf
Oh, man, I'm sorry about that.
Co-host/Producer
So this is real, absolutely, very serious.
Well, that horse Wormer is going to fix it though.
It's not horse warmer.
Ivermectin.
Ivermectin damn sure is.
Maybe not for you Episcopalian, but we Baptists don't eat it.
Actually, the guy that came up with that, it was a human medicine that we. He got the Nobel Peace Prize.
Whatever conspiracy theory.
John Clay Wolf
Oh, Richard, Google it, you jackass.
Co-host/Producer
Whatever. Daniel, call me names.
John Clay Wolf
Go ahead, load that Tesla in. Give me the dot com.
Co-host/Producer
Eat my Ivermectin.
John Clay Wolf
Thank you. We'll buy it. Oh, gosh. Tesla's just not very sexy to talk about. On the radio, Steve in Minnesota. 72 BMW 2002. I sent your number to Mike Thompson, my collector buyer, and he's going to call you. Get the pictures for him. You there?
Caller/Guest
Yep, I'm here.
John Clay Wolf
So how do you think we're coming. How do you think we're coming across in Minnesota? We're on in Minneapolis, right?
Caller/Guest
Well, I'm, I'm north. I'm heading, I'm close to the Wisconsin border.
John Clay Wolf
Have you. So obviously you're, you're a new listener because we just started there last week. Have we offended you in any way?
Caller/Guest
No.
John Clay Wolf
Oh, damn.
Caller/Guest
Why would you offend me?
John Clay Wolf
I need to try harder then I need to try harder. You betcha. All complaints go to jcwshow.com, click contact and there's a complaint button. And we want to hear your complaints because we're not getting enough. Not even close. I'm getting a little disappointed.
Co-host/Producer
I loved his answer.
John Clay Wolf
No, he is definitely up there in Minnesota.
Co-host/Producer
No way.
I'm cooperating here.
John Clay Wolf
Do what?
Co-host/Producer
I'm cooperating here.
John Clay Wolf
Have you ever been, Bob?
Co-host/Producer
I've been to Minnesota.
John Clay Wolf
I've never been in my life.
Co-host/Producer
I went, you know what, I bought my son a Camaro, a 93 Camaro in St. Louis and I flew up there to get it. So I flew from Dallas Fort Worth to St. Louis via Minneapolis, St. Paul.
John Clay Wolf
I don't think a touch in an airport counts as being there.
Co-host/Producer
No, I was there like three minutes. I had to really run to make my next jumper.
My son's wedding was there last year, so I was there for a week. And it was, you know what? We didn't know the whole Somalian thing at the time, but you go to.
John Clay Wolf
What's the Somalian thing?
Co-host/Producer
Are you being serious?
John Clay Wolf
Okay, okay.
Co-host/Producer
What do you mean?
John Clay Wolf
I was wanting you to color it in. Oh, no, no racial I'm situation there.
Co-host/Producer
But we went, you go to Walmart and just like, what is up? There's a lot of people from Somalia and they're, you know, the ladies are in the full dress and it was just, it just seemed like because I've been to a Walmart before here in Texas and just very, very different.
John Clay Wolf
Kind of Indians in Frisco, huh?
Caller/Guest
Oh yeah, yeah, a little.
John Clay Wolf
You know, my son was on the Turning Point thing with Alex Stein last night. Oh yeah, my 19 year old and he's a debater and Alex had him on and he paired him up against. What's his name, son?
Co-host/Producer
Alex Jones.
John Clay Wolf
Alex Jones's son. Now Alex Jones's son does this for A living. So he's very well versed. And my poor little child, this was his first time out in the octagon with these political, you know, radical commentators. And he. He can hang.
Co-host/Producer
He did well.
John Clay Wolf
But here's some cuts of it last night.
Caller/Guest
You go to school at King's College and that's in London, right?
Co-host/Producer
Yep.
Caller/Guest
And we are here in Texas where we are being invaded by H1B visa Indians. Like one third of every Indian that migrates to the United States lives in the DFW area. It's insane. There's actually signs supposedly in hyper bad India that say move to Frisco because we have the Silicon Prairie. They're all in the DFW area because you like that.
John Clay Wolf
I love.
I love the Indians. Come here. I want more Indians.
Caller/Guest
Bring in more. Are you. Why do you want more Indians?
John Clay Wolf
They don't even use deodorant. First off, if somebody has a fake degree, if they can't do the job, they're not. Not going to get an H1B to come over here. There's a reason they're bringing them over here.
Caller/Guest
You don't think there's any H1B visa?
John Clay Wolf
Why do you think companies are bringing in these Indians if they're not good at the job? It's not because you're good at the job.
Caller/Guest
It's because they can pay them less and they get government kickbacks.
Christina Lang
Are you.
Co-host/Producer
You're not.
Caller/Guest
This.
John Clay Wolf
People born here can't find jobs. They could also be paid less, couldn't they?
Caller/Guest
No.
John Clay Wolf
Because they're that desperate.
Co-host/Producer
No, no, no.
Caller/Guest
This guy Maddox is a smart young man. I think he has a bright future. We got to really react, educate you a little bit. We got to send you down to Austin, maybe stay with Rex for a little while.
John Clay Wolf
Austin's kind of fruit ball land now.
Caller/Guest
Two quick things, because we got. We're basically out of time. Do you think children under the age of 18 should be able to transition their sex?
John Clay Wolf
They should not. They should not be able to do anything permanent to their bodies.
Co-host/Producer
They should.
Caller/Guest
Wait, you don't think taking the hormones has permanent damage to their genital?
John Clay Wolf
No, that is something permanent, so that would count.
Caller/Guest
So you don't want children.
John Clay Wolf
You can do things like.
Like name change and whatnot, but nothing permanent.
That's what.
Caller/Guest
Okay, okay. So Rex, he's right.
John Clay Wolf
He's red pilled on that red pill. Red pill. So Rex is Alex Jones's son?
Co-host/Producer
Yes.
Is his name Alex Jones Jr. He sounds to me like a stymy Jones.
I don't know.
John Clay Wolf
I. I listen to Alex Jones for five minutes. He's just so. That Sandy Hook thing really turned me off.
Co-host/Producer
I saw him threaten Piers Morgan live On CNN about 12 years ago, and I'm like, yep, done with this guy.
He was over the top long before any of the Sandy Hook thing.
John Clay Wolf
I used to think, oh, Maddox jumped his ass about his dad and Sandy Hook. Oh, dude, I wish I had that cut. I forgot to ask Ayo to get it. That's my phone.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah, you remember what he said?
John Clay Wolf
He just said, obviously y' all were a little in the wrong or they wouldn't have ripped all your money away and put you down.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah, they did. They did. You're right, they did. I mean, that's. That's not our opinion. That's in the paper.
Yeah, Maddox is good, man. He's sensible, he's rational, and he knows what he's talking about.
He's come up here before and just. And carried on some great, great conversations.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah, he's my smart one, 800. I mean, not. Not that I have a dumb one.
Co-host/Producer
No.
John Clay Wolf
But he's like, exceptionally.
Caller/Guest
He.
John Clay Wolf
He's got that thing. Yeah. I don't like debating with him. I get tired. That's why I sent him over there. He wants to argue with me, and I have to think too much to argue with him, and it gets tiring.
Co-host/Producer
It gets tiring.
John Clay Wolf
And he starts hitting me with all these facts and stats and this. Then I'm like, dude, I don't know. Here's what I think.
Co-host/Producer
Stop.
John Clay Wolf
You know, I don't. And. And then I know Alex Stein. Alex Stein. And I was like, stein, you ought to take this kid on your show because he'll, He'll. He'll go a couple of rounds with you.
Co-host/Producer
You'll like him.
John Clay Wolf
And I said, y' all can talk that crap and wear each other out. And they went over there and he had him on the news set and they just did it and it was fine.
Co-host/Producer
Very cool.
I watch a lot of those shows, John, and I don't like any of them as much as I like the ones with a counterpoint.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah.
Co-host/Producer
On all the networks, Fox, cnn. I watch Ms. Now sometimes. If somebody good is going to be on.
John Clay Wolf
Coming up next is Dial A Deal, AKA the Lightning Round. If you're in Minnesota or Wisconsin or Washington or Portland or LA or Vegas, Dallas, Houston, Austin, all over.
Co-host/Producer
How they do it? What do they have to bring to you?
John Clay Wolf
You just year make, model miles, average, rough or clean. And you call in right now, 800, 800, 7, 2, 3, 4. 800, 800 radio. We're on the radio. So that's how you remember it. 800, 800 radio. Call John toll free, 1-800-800 radio.
Kevin, in Hollywood, Florida, you have a 05 Highlander with pretty good miles for a 20 year old rig. 68, is that correct? Are you in a well? Have you fallen? Do you need help? You sound.
Caller/Guest
I'm good.
John Clay Wolf
Okay, because you just sound very, very. You sound like you're in the bottom of a well. Does that.
Caller/Guest
Sorry.
John Clay Wolf
There you go. Now I can hear you. Is this Toyota? Is the paint faded on it?
Caller/Guest
No, it was kept in an under underground garage in Dade County, Miami.
John Clay Wolf
Is it yours or someone else's?
Caller/Guest
It's mine. I, I, I, I, I bought it for a great price and I fixed it up. I mean, I didn't fix it up. I just put a water pump in it and she runs like a champ.
John Clay Wolf
How long have you had it?
Caller/Guest
A couple months.
John Clay Wolf
So you're a flipper?
Caller/Guest
No, just. I saw it on the side of the road. Good. I asked, you know, I called the guy up, he said, I only want $2500 for it. I said, sure, I'll do it.
John Clay Wolf
And you spent a little bit on it. So would you take 4, 500 for it?
Caller/Guest
No.
John Clay Wolf
Why?
Caller/Guest
I got with everything and it's a great car. Things loaded. It runs like it never ran before, like it wanted to run. But it was underground in a garage forever.
Co-host/Producer
Okay.
Caller/Guest
Runs like a top.
John Clay Wolf
So you have, you have strong emotional feelings for this car?
Caller/Guest
Yeah, I only had a couple months,
John Clay Wolf
but it's like Seabiscuit.
Caller/Guest
Excuse me?
John Clay Wolf
It's like Seabiscuit. You ever heard of Seabiscuit?
Caller/Guest
Okay, yeah, like sea biscuit.
John Clay Wolf
So 4, 500, does that buy it?
Caller/Guest
No.
John Clay Wolf
What buys it?
Caller/Guest
Come close.
John Clay Wolf
What buys it, Mr. 2500
Caller/Guest
we'll go eight grand. It's too damn high.
John Clay Wolf
Okay, so you want to whack somebody in the head?
Caller/Guest
Head.
John Clay Wolf
I'll let you whack me in the
Caller/Guest
head a little bit, but I can't watch it. This is not a watch job. This thing was kept underground.
John Clay Wolf
Is it leather, cloth?
Caller/Guest
Huh?
John Clay Wolf
Is it leather or cloth? All right.
Caller/Guest
No, no, it's cloth.
John Clay Wolf
All right, let's go to five grand. No, let's go to 52.50.
Caller/Guest
No, you're not. You're not even at the ballpark.
John Clay Wolf
Sir, did I buy million dollar cars? I'm in the ballpark. Trust me, it's fine. You're not gonna spook me. But eight grand won't make any money. Are you the only guy that gets to make money? Is it just all about you? So you're gonna go rape and pillage some poor bastard on the side of the road at 2500? I'm offering to double your money and you're busting my balls.
Caller/Guest
Hey, I put money in this thing. I found the thing. I know what it is. You pay or don't pay. I really don't give.
John Clay Wolf
I'll give six grand. You want it or not?
Caller/Guest
Eight and I'll take it.
John Clay Wolf
65.
Caller/Guest
Eight and I'll take it.
Co-host/Producer
No.
Caller/Guest
7,500. That's it. Bottom line.
John Clay Wolf
6,750. I'm done. Everybody can kiss my ass. Take it or leave it.
Caller/Guest
Hey, you're not supposed to curse on the radio.
John Clay Wolf
That's not cursing. You can say ass.
Caller/Guest
Oh, you're ass, man.
Co-host/Producer
All right.
John Clay Wolf
If you like great customer service that doesn't have to deal with me, you can go to givemetheven.com America's Best Car Buyer. I'm sure they'll appreciate that.
Co-host/Producer

Caller/Guest

Co-host/Producer
118. Really?
Caller/Guest

John Clay Wolf
There's a lot of people out here. Davenport, Iowa. Dayton, Ohio. Denver, Detroit, Michigan. Detroit. WLLZ 106.7 wheels. Hey, Detroit people. The best classic cars in the world, American built, are sitting in garages in Michigan because your uncle and your grandpa and your great grandpa were building them some back in the day and they handed them down. You want to sell one, please go to givemetheven.com or if you wanted to go straight to me, go to gmtvcc, which is give me the VIN classic collector. Gmtvcc.com when is the Woodland Dream Cruise? I think that's in August. Hey, Detroit. Somebody in Detroit call in and Elliot, you might want to check Detroit and her. Anything out of Detroit yet? Somebody in Detroit call and let us know if we're on the air in there. You know what? It's 11:30 and I think we're off at 11.
Co-host/Producer
I was about to say we're off already in Detroit, so you're not going to hear anything.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah. All right. Well, screw you, Detroit. Ted Nugent will be on. He calls in plenty. 8008-0072-3480-0800 radio. Speaking of people all over the country, we have a prisoner listener base that we've established, like many radio shows do in the honor of Johnny Cash. We have Johnny Cash come down because he's the original prison entertainer and he reads your mail from jail that you guys send us to our P.O. box in Fort Worth, Texas. And at the end, when Johnny's done reading it, he will give you the address to our P.O. box. So get a pencil ready or a pen or just use a chalk marker if they've taken all of that away from you or you scratch the address into your clothing will be Johnny. Good morning.
Co-host/Producer
Hello, I'm Johnny Cash.
Caller/Guest
John.
Co-host/Producer
This week's mail from jail entry reads, hello, John Clay, I'm A big fan of yours. I've been listening on and off for years, and I'm glad to hear your show every Saturday. I know you have a widespread audience, so I wanted to help the public with a very important warning. If you can at all times, stay away from drugs. I was addicted to crack for six years. Drugs have taken me to the bottom of the barrel and right through it. Drugs made me lose loved ones, all my belongings, my freedom. It made me do things I never thought I would do. I'm not gay, but $20 worth of crack is $20 worth of crack. You know what I mean? I just couldn't help myself when I was addicted. It feels so good to smoke crack. It's like the most euphoric and pumped up feeling you can feel. And I did anything for it except what I needed to do, which was stopped. Truth be told, I want to smoke crack right now. I'll always want to smoke crack. It's awesome, but it destroys everything it's introduced to. That's what makes me an addict. Now. I'm locked up because of that devilish rock. And I'll never get this time back. But at least I'm two years sober now. It's just not worth it. Until the USA smartens up and legalizes all drugs, we're living in a tyrannical nation. But you can never give up hope for the American dream. You have to live every day like it's your last and be grateful for what you have. Wishing you in the world the best. Your friend, Steve Ruggieri, South Bay Correctional Facility, South Bay, Florida. Friends, have you got mail from jail? Just send it on down the line to us here at P.O. box 471-517. That is in Fort Worth, Texas, 76147.
Thank you, buddy.
John Clay Wolf
Thank you, buddy.
Co-host/Producer
Speaking of prisoners, you know, Joe Exotic has now been moved out of the Fort Worth facility to Lexington. Lexington, Kentucky. You want him back on the show?
John Clay Wolf
Who? Oh, Joe.
Caller/Guest
Sure.
Co-host/Producer
Joe Exotic.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah, we have Joe. Used to call in every Saturday, but it was getting a little long in the tooth. Yeah, nobody thought it was real is what's funny. So many people think it was an impersonator. I'm like, it's not an impersonator. Tracy Morgan called in earlier today. I mean, Sam Kenison's probably not going to call in because he's dead.
Co-host/Producer
He's dead.
John Clay Wolf
I would say so.
Co-host/Producer
I'll get Joe back on.
John Clay Wolf
I've got a question.
Caller/Guest
Sure.
John Clay Wolf
Am I a bad person?
Co-host/Producer
Yep.
John Clay Wolf
If I leave my call in real quick, 800, 800, 7, 2, 3, 4. 800, 800 radio. And. And I'd like your opinion if I leave my car running while getting gas.
Co-host/Producer
No, it's optional.
John Clay Wolf
It's optional.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah, well, they say it can cause explosions and fires. They say Ivermectin's for horses and ivermectin is for humans.
Excuse me?
Ivermectin. You gotta go get your medical advice on msnbc, buddy. I mean, I love you, right?
And you gotta. You gotta stop killing your car when you're putting your gas in.
Okay, I'll do that if you'll do
this a free country.
It is. Actually, I got gas yesterday and I did not stop my car, so I feel terrible.
I. You know, I decided this long ago. I think the first time I was like, well, I don't want to turn off.
John Clay Wolf
It's cold out here.
Co-host/Producer
Right.
So I left it running. And guess. You're gonna guess what happened? Nothing.
Caller/Guest
Nothing.
Co-host/Producer
Nothing happened.
Is it okay for your car, though, to do that?
Why wouldn't it be?
I don't know, I'm just. I mean, you're filling it up.
Yeah.
And it's running at the same time.
I think they're worried about sparks and all that stuff, but come on. Ah, Spark's gonna get out of the Deanne.
John Clay Wolf
In Olympia, Washington. Do you leave your car running when you're getting gas?
Caller/Guest
No.
John Clay Wolf
Why?
Caller/Guest
I just don't.
Christina Lang
Never have.
John Clay Wolf
Do you smoke cigarettes while you're getting gas?
Caller/Guest
No, I don't.
John Clay Wolf
I don't either. I just thought. I mean, that's pushing it, right?
Co-host/Producer
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
John Clay Wolf
So are you. Were you surprised? You know, I was a little leery about getting on the radio up there in your zone. I'm not familiar with Washington. I've never been to Washington State. I've never been to Portland, Oregon, and I didn't know how they would take to me. Are you offended by our delivery style?
Caller/Guest
Not at all.
Co-host/Producer
Oh, good.
John Clay Wolf
So there's no. There's normal people up there.
Caller/Guest
Yes, there is.
John Clay Wolf
Okay. Is it a minority or is it just the media that makes that zone sound so wild? Liberal?
Christina Lang
The media, of course.
John Clay Wolf
Okay. Because I noticed that about California. You know, I've spent a ton of time in California now, but growing up, listening to the news and the opinions, I thought California was a bunch of Martians.
Caller/Guest
Huh.
Christina Lang
Well, you should come up to Oregon.
John Clay Wolf
I know, it's absolutely gorgeous. I like to ride dirt bikes, like cross country mountain trails and stuff. And that's some of the best in the world.
Caller/Guest
Oh, yeah.
John Clay Wolf
Hey, I see you've got a 13 BMW 640 Grand Coupe with high miles on it. I'm gonna. I'll have somebody call you or just load it into givemetheven.com because we have to ask a bunch of questions about it. With that many miles, I want to make sure we have time to do it right.
Christina Lang
Okay.
John Clay Wolf
Thank you, ma'.
Caller/Guest
Am.
John Clay Wolf
Thanks for tuning in. Harper in Tex, she's doesn't have a big, you know, she's very, very black and white. Harper in Edinburgh, Texas. What's on your mind?
Caller/Guest
I wanted to say you're not wrong for shutting off your car while you're getting gas.
John Clay Wolf
Okay. What about leaving it on?
Caller/Guest
Yes, always leave it running.
John Clay Wolf
Okay. Melissa in Edinburgh, Texas. Where is Edinburgh, Texas?
Co-host/Producer
Edinburgh.
John Clay Wolf
Edinburgh.
Co-host/Producer
Done by Mexico.
Christina Lang
Yeah, we're like maybe about 20, well, 12 to 15 miles from the border.
John Clay Wolf
Do the cartel people cause you problems or the. Yeah, that's question one. My next question is the people running across the pastures, the immigrants, does that cause you problems?
Christina Lang
No, it doesn't, because I'm a little bit more north, and to me it seems like it's pretty much city. I mean, there's not. There's not much of that anymore like it used to be, I suppose.
Caller/Guest
And so it's.
Christina Lang
It doesn't seem to bother me at all. Like, I'm not scared or anything, and I'm fine.
John Clay Wolf
Does the drug cartel violence work its way across the border in that zone?
Christina Lang
Yes, it does. Yes, it does.
John Clay Wolf
Do you have an example?
Christina Lang
Well, I mean, there's just a lot of people, you know, that they still continue to sell and, you know, they continue to bring it across somehow, some way. I mean, they're very creative, that's for sure. There's some of the stories that, you know, we see on the.
Caller/Guest
On the news.
Christina Lang
You know, you just see, like, different ways.
John Clay Wolf
But you're real. The reason. And now I'm looking at the note, the reason you called in. You said, imodium extra strength is a great way for the parasitic diarrhea for those that are suffering.
Christina Lang
Yes, yes, Because I had experienced that. A nurse, when I was working at the hospital, medical hospital back in the day of 96. I was feeling really ill. Something had. I guess I ate was. And it was killing me for like three days. She noticed a discolor, a little bit
Caller/Guest
of, like, I was kind of.
Christina Lang
My color was a little peakish. And she said, are you okay? And I said, well, actually, no, I've been suffering, you know, for the, you know, with a little bit of Diarrhea and just can't see. It's been already three days. She goes, well, after you get out of work, go to the store and buy Imodium, extra strength. And it could come. Then it comes in a tablet. So because I wasn't. I could. Well, I don't want the liquor. She said, no. They also sell in a pill form. They sell like a pill and a tablet. So I just, I felt so bad as I was coming home from buying groceries. I just, you know, heard the callers and then how they're suffering. And I can remember back in that day and ever since, I always have some available and, you know, keep it in my home and because every now and then maybe somebody gets it or somebody that I know and I'll share it. That's just.
John Clay Wolf
Thank you, ma'.
Am.
Appreciate. Appreciate the share here.
Caller/Guest
Good.
John Clay Wolf
Good stuff. Appreciate it.
Co-host/Producer
She's like a beat poet.
Caller/Guest
Wow. Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
What's a beat poet?
Co-host/Producer
Gonna go to the lake and I'm gonna come back, I'm gonna go to the lake and I can put a swimsuit on. And then they look at the life to reserve it and live a life preserver. Then I will not drown. If I did drown, I would take off my life preserver and drown. But I don't want to drown because I want to come home from the lake. Dinner is going to be fried chicken.
Yeah.
Get up in the box and bring it home and put it on a plate and have chicken for dinner with

more of the John Clay Wilson. Remember, you can watch the whole show rerun or watch it live with video@jcwshow.com this. Oh, I need to plug Gordon Boswell flowers across the country or around the corner. Gordon Boswell is your go to florist. They've been sponsoring this show for, I don't know, seven years.
Christina Lang
Seven.
John Clay Wolf
And you know what? I don't even charge them.
Co-host/Producer
You don't?
John Clay Wolf
Nope.
Really?
What I did with them, their stuff is so good.
Co-host/Producer
Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
They bring flowers to the office and they bring flowers to the house once a week in exchange for us doing this on the radio and letting other people know about it. And that's when you know, you believe in something. They've got the good stuff.
Co-host/Producer
Let it come to your house.
John Clay Wolf
They're a little more money than the other guys, but when they. You get that picture on the other, you know, New York or LA or where wherever you're sending, sending flowers to, they. They send the good stuff. The stuff you're proud of, not the stuff that looks like it came out of the grocery store and they last. Yep. We'll be right back. My name is John Clay Wolf and hang tight. Remember to go to jcwshow.com there's a chat box on the side and the Wolf packers are on there and they talk smack and they talk to each other and it's a big community. If you're bored, you ought to introduce yourself to some of them because they come anyway. You'll see what I mean. Just go to jcwshow.com we'll be right back after this song.

Dude, it's right through my head and I can't hit it down to the left, down to the right. What's this is not fooling obviously. This is rock. Rock till you drop. Yeah, we will rock rock till we drop.
Co-host/Producer
Love the deaf leverage.
John Clay Wolf
We've been rock rocking for five and a half hours.
Co-host/Producer
How about that? How you feel?
John Clay Wolf
We haven't dropped yet. I feel fine.
Co-host/Producer
This isn't normally our gig.
John Clay Wolf
I mean this guy's ass. Let's getting somebody's ass. 98 BMW M3 automatic, four door with 130. Been sitting in a barn for six years. Wants 10 grand. Tim, you there?
Caller/Guest
Yes, I'm there.
John Clay Wolf
It's too much. It's too high. You're crazy. Why you want so much money?
Caller/Guest
I. It's my son's car and he moved to Michigan and he thinks it's.
John Clay Wolf
He's wrong. And I'll tell you why he's wrong. Because it's an automatic. It's not a stick, it's a four door and it's got a buck 30 on it. M3s are awesome, but they've got to be the right ones. If that car was an automatic, I'm sorry, a stick, I would give him 10 grand as an automatic. I will not. The sitting in a barn for six years. Could be rats, could be strippers, could be dead transmission.
Caller/Guest
I work in my shop. It's actually a shop. I. I build C10s and stuff. So it's. It's not, you know, it's in good shape.
John Clay Wolf
Okay.
Caller/Guest
It's been undercover. Okay. It's black. Well then I just wonder what it's worth too. So I can actually have.
John Clay Wolf
I think probably eight. Eight is my guess.
Caller/Guest
Okay.
John Clay Wolf
The damn four door in the automatic just changes things. I Want to say seven. I'm real good at seven, but I want to give you all the money I can. And I'm thinking I can give eight. So do me a favor. Go to givemetheven.com and load it up up. And they will get on it. Tell them John said seven on the air. He wants y' all to look at it for eight. And I have. I have an office. It says you're in central California on your phone number. Where, like, what city are you in?
Caller/Guest
Houston. H U G H S O N what's the nearest.
John Clay Wolf
What's the nearest Modesto? What's another city nearby? I'm just trying to figure out how to pick it up.
Caller/Guest
Carolina?
John Clay Wolf
No.
Co-host/Producer
Are you north of Burbank?
John Clay Wolf
Yeah.
Caller/Guest
Oh, geez. We're not even close to that.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah, they're up.
Co-host/Producer
We're Sacramento.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah.
Caller/Guest
Probably Stockton. Maybe it's. Stockton's about an hour up from me.
John Clay Wolf
Okay. We have locations all over the coast. We just need to figure out the closest one. You can run it up there and drop it off. Because I don't have a place where you are where I can't pick it up. It'll just cost me too much to pick it up. Up to send a service out there to pick that thing up be 500 bucks.
Caller/Guest
Yeah. So I wish my son would just take it to Michigan where he moved.
John Clay Wolf
Why is he in Michigan?
Caller/Guest
He. He just wanted to move there. He said it's a lot. A lot cheaper, you know, because it's real expensive to live here.
John Clay Wolf
Right?
Caller/Guest
So he's, you know, he's. You know, he's got a beautiful house and everything for half the money. What?
John Clay Wolf
Yeah.
Caller/Guest
Yeah. Cool.
John Clay Wolf
Go to. Give me the VIN. Give me the VIN.com loaded up. I'm gonna try to buy it.
Caller/Guest
Alrighty.
John Clay Wolf
Thanks, man. 800, 800, 7, 2, 3, 4. 800, 800. Radio. Radio. We were going. We had something else.
Co-host/Producer
We were going to do Jeopardy.
John Clay Wolf
Backtracks.
Co-host/Producer
Backtracks?
John Clay Wolf
Yeah. Oh, boy.
Co-host/Producer
Oh.
John Clay Wolf
Backtracks is where we place two songs backwards and then you call in and guess what the two songs are and we try it first without saying the band. Is that fair?
Co-host/Producer
Do we. Okay.
John Clay Wolf
We can. Is it harder? He's easy.
Co-host/Producer
I think they'll figure it out.
John Clay Wolf
Let me hear it. I'll tell you if I'm gonna. If we're gonna say the band cut one sounds like John Lennon cut to. I'm going with John Lennon. Is that a good guess?
Co-host/Producer
You'd be right. This day in 1974, the US Board of Immigration informed John Lennon that he had 60 days to leave the country or face deportation.
John Clay Wolf
Why were they mad at him?
Co-host/Producer
He got busted. This is true. In 1968, in London, at his apartment, before he ever tried to move over here. It's just the Nixon administration was a little funny about things like that.
John Clay Wolf
So let's play these two John Lennon cuts backwards again. And you call in 8008-0072-3480-0800-RADIO. John and Greenville, go to givemetheven.com on your Corvette. We need to open the lines up for backtracks, people. Okay?
Caller/Guest
Yes, sir. All right.
John Clay Wolf
I've hung up on him five times. He keeps calling back 85 Corvette with 125 cars worth three grand. And I know he's going to say he wants seven for it. Why argue? I just. If I wanted to argue, I'd go home.
Co-host/Producer
There you go.
First person correctly identifies these two songs is going to get their pick of anything they want. From the JCW merch. Closet it online. And I got John Lennon 4 CD box set. I showed it to JD the other day.
That was so cool.
From Born Late Record.
John Clay Wolf
He's calling back again.
Co-host/Producer
Awesome.
John Clay Wolf
Comes with a little. John, I just told you, we're not doing this.
Caller/Guest
Oh, I'm sorry.
John Clay Wolf
Okay.
Caller/Guest
Wow.
John Clay Wolf
8008-0072-3480-0800 radio. Oh, cut one. I don't know it. Cut two. Now, it's not Beatles, it's linen. Right?
Co-host/Producer
Lennon solo. Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
So that is not sergeant Pepper's Heart Club Band.
Co-host/Producer
That sounds like these are John Lennon solo tunes. And the first one's one that. These are both really early John Lennon records. And first one was something that he wrote specifically to Paul when he was still a little pissed.
John Clay Wolf
Cut one. Cut 2. Call in 8008-0072-3480-0800 radio. And guess what those two songs are. And do it in a hurry, because we will. We've got two minutes for this segments over. And we're gonna get the winner before the segments over. We're not gonna get a winner. 8008-0072-3480-0800 radio. Let's see if Joe's got it. Joe and McAllen, do you have it?
Caller/Guest
Yes.
John Clay Wolf
What is it?
Caller/Guest
72 Chevy C10.
John Clay Wolf
Hang on, hang on. Different deal. Hey, John in Greenville, North Carolina. What's going on? Let me guess. You got a 85. 5 Corvette with 125, 000 miles for it. On it. I'll give you three grand. What are you going for?
Caller/Guest
Five times.
John Clay Wolf
What do you want for your damn Corvette, man?
Caller/Guest
I don't know. You tell me. I got 85 Corvette, 125, 000 miles. The kicker is one owner I got it from.
John Clay Wolf
The kicker is your car dealer.
Caller/Guest
Uncle.
John Clay Wolf
Yeah. Three grand.
Co-host/Producer
Three grand.
John Clay Wolf
They're not worth nothing. They're not worth nothing.
Caller/Guest
I gotta. I gotta kick it to it. I got a kicker. All right. It's got new t tops. It's got all the.
John Clay Wolf
I got a kicker. Dave and I hung up. Dave and Temecula.
Caller/Guest
Yeah. Here today in instant karma.
Co-host/Producer
Second one is correct.
John Clay Wolf
The first john in Kansas City.
Caller/Guest
How do you sleep in instant karma?
Co-host/Producer
That's it.
Caller/Guest
Wow. There you go. Yeah.
John Clay Wolf
Got a winner. West coast. Hang tight. We're switching all the network to you, including Vegas and Phoenix. Everybody else, we're coming off the air. We've been doing this for six hours, going on hour number seven. We start in New York City and Miami and work our way west. Co-host/Producer
I got a kicker. I got a kicker.
John Clay Wolf

Co-host/Producer
