Do I really need to see a therapist? Could I not work through this by myself? These were the questions I would ask myself when considering therapy. I was afraid to make the step, and felt ashamed that I needed external help. However, once I finally got over my ego, and started with a therapist (and I am so glad I did), it catalysed a beautiful journey of self discovery, the likes of which wouldn't have been possible on my own.In this episode, I discuss my childhood anxiety and expectations, and how this has shaped many of my thought patterns today. I talk about my bad relationship, with relationships, and how these things catalysed the need for professional help. I then discuss my therapy journey and the paradigm shifts I have experienced along the way.Contact me to be on this podcast here: @jordanbez (Instagram)
