It's just like going to summer camp with people that you like and doing what you love every day, which is singing and dancing. It's just been incredible. And it hasn't hit me. I think it's gonna hit me. We're right next door. We're at Studio 54.

How's that feel in there? I've never. I mean, I've been in, but I've never performed or been backstage.

Harvey Guillen (3:18)

You can feel the energy. We went to visit and I could feel, you know, Sam, our amazing director, Finkelton took us, and we could feel like the ancestors. It was just like magic in the air. You could feel maybe it was the residue of leftover cocaine or just like poppers in the air, but something was in the carpet, and I loved it. You felt the energy, and I'm really excited and I hope you all enjoy it. It's gonna be so fantastic.

Yes. Over 50 years ago. Half a century ago. This musical's been around for a while, and it still resonates with audiences because of the message. You know, when you're made to feel like you're an alien, it's because it's okay to be different, you know? And sometimes you have to go back to your home planet.

We met during Blue Beetle, which is a great movie. Get a chance. Blue Beetle was what brought us, and we became friends. And every time I'm in town, we have dinner. So we were having. We went to a show that night. We saw a show and we were having dinner at Sardis, and then she and I were walking. She was like, there's your poster. And I was like, oh, my gosh. And she's like, well, we gotta take a picture. Excuse me, can you take a picture of us? She asked this stranger on the street, and she says, I just wanna say I'm a big fan of both of you. And it was really nice. And she's become really supportive, and it's really nice. Yeah. So I love her. So I love you.

Susan, do you remember the first time you saw Rocky Horror?

I do. I was pretty young, and it was at a neighbor's house, I'm pretty sure. And I thought I was watching porn.

Ryan Reynolds (5:09)

It was pretty racy for the day.

Harvey Guillen (5:11)

Yeah. And I was like, whoa, what's going on? And I grew up in a very religious household, so I was like, they're not supposed to be in their undies in the pool. And I just remember. And as I got older, I was like, wait, you can be in your undies in the pool.

And it started to resonate with me. And here we are.

You came out here. Did you live in New York for a while?

I lived a little bit in New York, but I never felt like I was an actual New Yorker. Like, I felt like, what does it

I feel like people think I'm a New Yorker now because I walk down by Times Square and I see, you know, Elmo getting ready for a shift without his head taking the swig. And we just look at each other. He doesn't ask for a picture, he just goes. And I just have this moment of, like, girl, who's gonna be okay?

It's somebody who, like, stops in the middle of a moving traffic street.

Like, what we do in the Shadows ended a little over a year ago. What a great series. Here you are with the cast on the last day of filming.

What's going on? This looks like a board game or something.

No, no, that's not a board game. That's actual cake. That's a cake with all the characters on there. Cause Matt berry's birthday's May 2nd. And we wrapped on May 2nd, and we're supposed to wrap, like, at 6pm but we were running late, of course, in production. And around 11:30, we wrapped and we sang Happy Birthday. And midnight came around, and my birthday's May 3rd, and so we were all crying, drinking champagne. So, hey, isn't it your birthday, too? And I'm like, yeah, cheers. And it was a perfect way to end, like, eight years of my life with a show that from beginning to end, has changed my life completely. And it was my birthday, so I was, like, closing a chapter and starting a new year, you know? And, you know, you're only 21, like, eight times, so that's great.
