Our agency does some SEO for law firms. And as an example, we had a client. This is from a few months ago. This is just a standard Google search. Right? But the search is personal injury firm in Boulder, Colorado. Right. Boulder is a very competitive space for PI. A lot of pedestrians, a lot of upper income folks. So it's a really competitive space for personal injury attorneys. Our client is Debbie Taussig and she appears all over the first page of Google. Yay. That's really good. She's very happy about that. We're very happy about that. So we're curious what happens if we go ask ChatGPT, can you recommend a good personal injury law firm in Boulder, Colorado? Really good news. She was the very first person listed. Okay. So there is a lot of overlap. And this, this, by the way, this is before we did any AI optimization for her. So really good news. For those of you that have invested into your Google rankings, that have good Google rankings, you're not starting over. Okay? There is a lot of overlap and that's really good news. There are also some really key differences. Okay. Similarities. Positive reviews matter a lot. Okay. It's true of every business. True all the time. This is a really good opportunity to improve. All right? This is a big deal. It matters for just a bunch of different reasons. Okay. Backlinks. Okay? So if you can get mentioned in your local newspaper, things like that. Very helpful. Fresh. Content really matters for SEO purposes. And for AI search purposes, technical optimization really matters. Awards, certificates, badges, those things really matter. There are some really key differences and I've touched on some of them. One is the format of your content. Right? SEO is very much like, hey, you need to write a thousand words. You need to use 7.2% keyword density. Right? Your H1 headings, things like that. Not a big deal for AI search. What matters is just, are you explaining things well? Okay. Are you explaining things well? Are you answering the questions that your clients and your customers have? AI gives you the opportunity to be a lot more specific about what your ideal clients look like. I've already touched on that. But just understand if you're not happy with the types of clients, of customers, of leads you are getting. AI search is an opportunity to get more specific about who are the right types of clients for your business. Okay. It also gives you additional space to differentiate yourself. I showed some examples of how like Chad Beat will spit out like a paragraph summary of why someone should hire you. Right? Google doesn't do that. Okay. Big one is the cost and pricing thing. Again, I'll come back to it. If you don't have information on your website. How much is this going to cost? A range of services, pricing information? You are definitely losing out. So you really want to have some information on your website about pricing.
