I hear all the time, oh, email doesn't work. Or I don't want to annoy my email list or I hate when I get that kind of crap in my inbox. Most of your competitors aren't doing it because they feel the same way as you. And then there's a few of you in the room that are doing it and that are laughing at the recipe being like, yeah, this works. Like, what's the stat on the screen there? 99% of people that have email check it every day. Like, stop making excuses and start figuring out how to actually use your contact list. If you're worried you're going to annoy them, then make sure your content is something that's valuable to your target market. Give advice, give tips, share something interesting. We recommend newsletters. That's one of our favorite things to do is newsletters that have value ad content. You see a stat there on the screen. There was a study done that showed that about for every dollar spent on email marketing, you get a 40x return. So I kind of told you earlier, business owners, we have bright and shiny syndrome. I'm guilty of it too. But it's like most of you in the room are underutilizing social media. Most of you in the room are underutilizing your own email list. Most of you in the room aren't doing webinars, which have been around and working forever. So my hope for you guys is that 2026 is a little bit of a renaissance, where you get back to some of these things that have worked for a long time for a lot of people and start to realize if they haven't worked for you, it's either because you didn't do it or because you just didn't figure out the right tactic for it.
