What's the best way to use Facebook ads for your law firm? First off, I'm glad we're having this conversation because Facebook and really meta ads, which covers Facebook and Instagram, are very underutilized for most law firms. There's a few different ways that we've seen law firms use this really well. And the first is retargeting. Okay, so this is the idea that if somebody goes to your website, maybe they're browsing your website, but they don't call you yet, which, by the way, the vast majority of your website traffic is not going to call you or schedule a consultation because they're in research mode, right? So they go to your website, they like what they see, but they don't call you. Over time, they're naturally going to forget about you. But what if every time they go to Facebook, every time they go to Instagram, every time they go to LinkedIn, because you can do this on LinkedIn as well, they see your content. That is called retargeting. And this is something we do for our clients. We put a pixel on your website so that when someone visits your website and then logs on to Facebook or Instagram, we can push your content in front of them. That's really important. Second way you can use Facebook ads that we like a lot is promoting what's called a lead magnet. So this is free informational content that you're giving away, but somebody has to download it and give their contact information in order to do so. So let's say you're in a state. Actually, let's use family law, because I use estate planning a lot. So let's say you're a family law attorney and you have a lead magnet, which we've seen this one work really well. Title is 8 Steps to Prepare for Divorce in North Carolina or South Carolina or New York City whatever, right? 8 Ways to Prepare for divorce. And you push that content through Facebook ads. It's really. It's a great piece of content because it captures people that are in the initial stages of thinking about divorce. And probably maybe they're not ready to hire a divorce attorney today, but there's a decent chance that they're going to in the next few weeks or the next few months. So you, you run ads, you drive it to a landing page, they fill out that landing page, and then they get the free resource. When they did that, they gave you their contact information. So now you can continue to send them educational content. You can nurture them. You can check in and say something like, hey, I hope you found the report helpful. Do you have any questions? When you're ready to schedule a consultation, click here. We're happy to get that schedule right, so it's a great way to attract leads that are like a little earlier in the funnel but have a high likelihood of needing you down the road.
