As a law firm owner, you probably know that your best clients are coming to you through referrals, particularly in the early stages of building your business. And so you're probably putting a lot of effort into building relationships and building your referral network. And that is awesome. But my question for you now is, are you using digital marketing strategically to leverage and get more results out of that, that investment of your time and energy? Because building a referral network is an investment, right? It is a serious investment of your time and energy, whether it's BNI meetings, chamber of Commerce, bar association events, just one on one, like coffee, happy hour, dinner, lunch, right? You are investing time into creating these relationships, and it's also not feasible to continue to invest one on one into every one of those relationships. You can't realistically have lunch with, with your entire referral network every single week. So, two things you can do from a digital marketing perspective to massively amplify the effort that you're putting into building these relationships. The first is email marketing. And yes, I know email marketing is not exactly a bright shiny object these days, but it's low cost and it still works. You should be sending out, ideally, a weekly email newsletter at least once a month, if not more frequently filled with content, engaging, entertaining, educational. Keep your list engaged. You can also use email marketing for drip campaigns and, and there's a handful of other ways you can use email marketing really effectively, but the magic happens when you then combine that with social retargeting. So this is something we do for our clients and be happy to do for you. We're gonna take that email list, we are gonna securely, by the way, securely upload it into the Meta Business manager, which covers Facebook and Instagram, and in a lot of cases, also the LinkedIn business manager. And then what's gonna happen is those platforms are gonna go one by one by one down that email list and they're gonna match each email address with a user, right? A Facebook user, an Instagram user, a LinkedIn user. On average, they're successful at matching about 55% of the time. So if you got a thousand people on your email list, you're probably gonna end up with about 550 in your matched audience. And then what you do with just a small ad, spend a couple hundred dollars a month is all it takes. You push your social content to that audience. That means every time those people log on to Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, whatever it is they use, they are going to see your content consistently. Multiple touch points every single day in a lot of cases. So I just want you to think for a second about how powerful this is. Let's say you meet somebody at a BNI meeting and then you have coffee with them a couple days later and you guys are in position to send each other business. But now the challenge is how do you continue to invest into that relationship without having coffee with them every single week? And what I just described is, so you have that first meeting, then you get coffee, and now they start getting your email newsletter and it's full of this great educational content. But not only that, every time they log on to LinkedIn or Instagram or Facebook, they see your content. It's entertaining, it's educational, it's valuable, Right? And it's a reminder of who you serve and what type of work you do. That is called multi channel marketing. It's really powerful, it's not expensive. This is how you should be using digital marketing to amplify the effects of your real life networking and relationship development.
