What should be above the fold on your homepage? Awesome question. And just in case you're not aware, the terminology above the fold just means, like, what can people see on your homepage without scrolling? So what's the first thing they're going to see? And this is actually a great question because the average website visitor is only gonna give you about three to five seconds once they land on your website to decide if they're gonna stick around or if they're going to leave. So first thing that needs to be there is a clear headline that tells them whether or not they're in the right place. Okay. It should just basically state what you do, who you serve, what type of problems you solve, let people know that they're in the right place or not. Totally fine if they're not in the right place. But be crystal clear that if the right type of potential client lands on your website, they're going to know immediately that they're in the right place. Second thing is, you want to make sure you've got contact information clearly visible, right? Maybe a click to book a consultation button. Make sure you have your phone number. Right? Make it really easy for someone to get in touch with your law firm without digging for that contact information. And the third thing that comes to my mind is some type of lead magnet, okay? Because what you have to understand is not everybody. In fact, the majority of people who land on your website are not actually ready to contact you immediately. So you need some sort of strategy to capture their contact information so that you can plug them into your marketing system and. And keep marketing to them. That is a lead magnet. And so some sort of free checklist that you give away. So let's say you're a family law firm. You know, five steps to prepare for divorce in North Carolina. Estate planners, Right? Three things you need to know about estate planning in California. Right? Some sort of free piece of value that you give away for free, and you want that to be visible above the fold on your homepage, that you capture those client opportunities that aren't necessarily ready to schedule a consultation with you today.
