What is God's will for your life? What career does he want you to pursue? Who does he want you to marry? Or where does he want you to live? The Bible doesn't give you specific answers to those important questions. So how do you know what God wants you to do? How do you make those big decisions? On this episode of The Legacy Room, Dr. Abner Chou and Dr. Nathan Busenitz give you biblical principles for making not only those decisions, but any decision you face. By the end of this episode, you'll know how to be confident you are obeying God's will in any circumstance.

Theologians often use three words to describe the Christian life. It begins with justification—being declared righteous before God. It continues through sanctification—the process of becoming like Jesus. And it culminates with glorification in heaven. On this episode of The Legacy Room, Dr. Nathan Busenitz and Dr. Abner Chou take an in-depth look at sanctification—this long, often painful process of becoming more and more holy. They look at the biblical truths and tools essential for every believer’s sanctification.

In this episode, Dr. Busenitz and Dr. Chou continue their conversation with Dr. Mike Riccardi about the Trinity. They talk about how evangelicals can--unintentionally--misrepresent the Trinity. And they show how the source of so much division in the church is often a misguided, or even dangerous, view of the Trinity.

John Calvin said “it is impossible to praise God without also uttering the praises of the Father, of the Son, and of the Spirit.” The three persons Calvin is referring to are, of course, the Trinity. What does the Bible say about this doctrine? How do we think correctly about the relationships within the Trinity? And how should this central aspect of God affect how we live each day? To answer those and more questions about the Trinity, Dr. Chou and Dr. Buzenitz are joined by Dr. Michael Riccardi, theology professor at The Master’s Seminary. Together, they take a deep look at who God is and what the fact that he is Trinity means for all of us.

In part two of this conversation on spiritual gifts, Dr. Nathan Busenitz and Dr. Abner Chou pivot from the spiritual gifts that ceased to the gifts of the spirit that Christians still exercise today. What does the Bible say about gifts like discernment, generosity, hospitality, teaching, and others? How do they strengthen the church and bring glory to God? Find out in this episode, the fifth of season two of The Legacy Room.

The Bible has a lot to say about spiritual gifts. What are they? And why does The Master's Seminary believe some gifts that were prevalent in the first century have ceased today? Get answers as Dr. Abner Chou and Nathan Busenitz define the word cessationism, and help you think biblically about all the spiritual gifts.

What is the Christian's relationship with government? Are believer's required to obey government at all times? How much should Christian's get involved in politics? This episode of The Legacy Room answers those questions. Dr. Abner Chou and Dr. Nathan Busenitz are joined by Jesse Johnson, TMS alum and pastor of Immanuel Bible Church in the Washington D.C. area. Jesse is also the author of City of Man, Kingdom of God: Why Christian's Respect, Obey, and Resist Government. This conversation will help you understand the government's proper role and its relationship to the church.

John MacArthur calls Matthew 7:21 the most terrifying verse in the Bible. "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven." Clearly, some people are convinced they are Christians when, in fact, they are still lost in their sin. How can you be sure your salvation is real? Find out in this episode, as Dr. Abner Chou and Dr. Nathan Busenitz explore the doctrine of assurance.

Why should believers study church history? In this episode of The Legacy Room, the first of season two, Dr. Nathan Busenitz and Dr. Abner Chou explain why every believer needs to know and appreciate God's providential work through the centuries. This brief episode will give you concise and compelling arguments for the study of church history.

In this episode, the final of season one, Dr. Busenitz and Dr. Chou talk about how theology shaped their personal lives. Abner and Nathan tell stories from their high school years, when truth from Scripture changed how they thought about God, salvation, and ministry. You'll hear which convictions shaped them and led them to become theological students, then leaders at TMUS.
