In this episode, we continue our study of Revelation 10 and the second parenthetical pause of the Tribulation. We examine the mighty angel who descends from heaven, the declaration that there will be "no more delay" as God's plan moves toward its fulfillment, and the little scroll that John is commanded to eat—revealing both the sweetness of God's Word and the bitterness that accompanies His message of judgment and redemption.

What are angels, and what role do they play in God’s plan? In this episode, we pause our study of Revelation 10 to explore the unseen realm through a biblical lens. We examine the nature and hierarchy of angels, the roles of Michael, Gabriel, cherubim, and seraphim, angelic involvement in nations, spiritual warfare, and God’s judgments, and the reality of Satan’s fallen kingdom. We also tackle the modern topic of UFOs and aliens, comparing popular claims and reported encounters with Scripture to ask whether these phenomena are extraterrestrial—or something far more spiritual in nature. Throughout the discussion, we see that Christ reigns supreme over every angelic power, and that believers can live with confidence in His victory over the forces of darkness.

In this episode of The Living Logos, we conclude our study of Revelation’s 21 Tribulation judgments by examining the Seven Bowls of Wrath in Revelation 15–16. Building on the seals and trumpets, these final judgments represent the completion of God’s wrath against a rebellious world that continually refuses to repent. We explore the heavenly scene surrounding the bowls, the song of Moses and the Lamb, the connection between these judgments and the Exodus plagues, and the significance of God’s holiness and justice. Each bowl judgment is examined in detail—from painful sores and seas turned to blood, to scorching heat, supernatural darkness, the drying of the Euphrates, and the gathering of the nations for Armageddon. Along the way, we trace key Old Testament parallels, uncover the theological meaning behind God’s judgments, and see how Revelation ultimately reveals both the certainty of divine justice and the triumph of Christ over evil.

In Revelation 9, the trumpet judgments intensify into the terrifying “Woes” as the abyss is opened and demonic forces are unleashed upon the earth. In this episode of The Living Logos, we explore the biblical reality of hell, the origin and nature of demons, the fallen angel Abaddon/Apollyon, the Nephilim of Genesis 6, and the spiritual warfare unfolding behind the scenes of human history. Drawing connections between Revelation, Genesis, Joel, Isaiah, Jude, and 2 Peter, this study examines the demonic locusts of the first woe, the Euphrates-bound angels of the second woe, and humanity’s shocking refusal to repent even while facing divine judgment. More than an exploration of prophecy, this episode ultimately points to Christ as humanity’s only refuge from judgment and the One who delivers us from the reality of hell itself.

In this episode of The Living Logos, we move from the opening of the Seventh Seal into the unfolding of the Seven Trumpet Judgments in Revelation 8–11. We explore the heavenly temple and how the tabernacle furniture of the Old Testament points to the realities of God’s throne room in heaven, while also examining the biblical purpose of trumpets as announcements of divine presence, warnings, repentance, and coming judgment. From hail and fire mingled with blood to burning mountains, poisoned waters, and the darkening of the heavens, we walk through the first four trumpet judgments—the “judgments of the thirds”—and discuss their connection to the Exodus plagues, the progression of God’s wrath, and His mercy in calling the world to repentance before final judgment falls.

In this episode of The Living Logos, we begin unfolding the seven seals of —the judgments that mark the start of the Tribulation. From the rise of the Antichrist to war, famine, death, martyrdom, and cosmic upheaval, each seal reveals the escalating reality of God’s judgment on a world that has rejected Him.But at the center of it all is a pressing question: “Who can stand?” (Revelation 6:17). We answer this by exploring Revelation 7—where God seals the 144,000 for protection and purpose, preserving them to proclaim the gospel in the midst of judgment. This episode also draws the connection to believers today, showing how we too are sealed by the Holy Spirit—secured in Christ and empowered to be His witnesses.

In this episode, we begin our journey into the Tribulation—Revelation chapters 6–19—and unpack the framework of the most intense period in human history. From Daniel’s 70th week to the rise of the Antichrist, we explore how the seven seals, trumpets, and bowls form 21 judgments that unfold over seven years, each building toward the return of Christ. We also examine the “pauses” in Revelation that reveal what’s happening behind the scenes, along with the purpose of the Tribulation itself: to bring Israel back to God, to judge sin, and to prepare the world for Christ’s millennial reign. This episode sets the foundation for everything that follows—clarifying the timeline, the structure, and the divine intention behind God’s final acts of judgment and redemption.

In this episode of The Living Logos, we explore Revelation 5 through the lens of dominion—tracing the story from Genesis, where humanity was given authority, to the Fall, where that dominion was lost, and ultimately to Christ, the only One worthy to take it back. By connecting the imagery of the seven-sealed scroll to the concept of a title deed, we uncover how Jesus, as our Kinsman Redeemer, fulfills the qualifications necessary to redeem both humanity and the earth. Drawing rich parallels from the book of Ruth, we see how Boaz foreshadows Christ’s redemptive work, bringing both Israel and the Gentiles into restored covenant relationship. Finally, we examine the striking connections between Joshua and Revelation, revealing Jesus as our greater Joshua who will return to reclaim the promised inheritance and establish His righteous rule.

Step with us into Revelation 4 as we move beyond the messages to the seven churches and into the throne room of heaven itself. In this episode, we follow as John is called through an open door into a greater reality—where the throne of God stands at the center of all creation. We unpack the majesty of the One seated on the throne, the worship of the living creatures and the twenty-four elders, and the unmistakable presence of the Trinity at the heart of heaven. This is not just a vision—it is the courtroom of the universe, where prayers ascend, judgments are decreed, and Christ intercedes for His people. As we prepare for the unfolding of the seals and the coming tribulation, this episode anchors us in the holiness, authority, and accessibility of God’s throne—reminding us that through Christ, we too may boldly draw near.

As we begin a new section in the Book of Revelation, this episode dives into the doctrine of the rapture—what it is, where it’s found in Scripture, and why it matters for your faith. We walk through key passages like 1 Corinthians 15 and 1 Thessalonians 4 to show that the “catching away” is biblical, even if the word “rapture” isn’t used, and explore how it connects directly to the resurrection and the completion of our salvation. We also examine the major views—pre-, mid-, and post-tribulation—highlighting where each is rooted in Scripture, while emphasizing what truly matters: not the timing, but the certainty that Christ is coming, the dead will be raised, and believers will be united with Him forever.
