April 20, 2026 ~ Lucy Ann Lance is joined by Dr. Mirelle Luecke, Supervisory Curator, Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library & Museum, National Archives & Records Administration for this week's Ann Arbor/ Ypsilanti Regional Chamber Report. The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library & Museum is featuring a special, rare exhibit, "Opening the Vault: The Northwest Ordinance," displaying the historic 1787 document on loan from the National Archives. It highlights the ordinance's role in creating the Northwest Territory, prohibiting slavery there, and establishing a framework for admitting new states.
