A significant weather system is approaching, prompting a Winter Weather Advisory starting at 1 PM. Meteorologist Brian Welch predicts heavy snowfall beginning in the late afternoon and continuing overnight, which could lead to closures the next day. An estimated four to five inches of snow is expected tonight, with an additional four to five inches from another system arriving late Friday into Saturday, totaling close to a foot of snow.
