Since then, she's been a wonderful Navigate coach, mentor, friend and compassion-giver to countless Navigate students. In this episode Darcy shares how she discovered her gift through the Navigate class about 4 years ago, realizing that her sensitivity and tendency to cry were actually divine qualities. She discusses how she learned to distinguish between her own emotions and those of others, and the importance of releasing others' burdens to Jesus rather than trying to solve their problems. Darcy emphasizes that the primary ministry of the mercy gift is simply being present and listening, rather than providing answers. She advises others to embrace their gift without feeling flawed, and to recognize that people are drawn to them for healing and connection.
