Nikki & Brie are checking in from the Mile High City! The Garcia Twins are in Denver for a little business and a little fun! First, Brie gives an update on her chickens, and unfortunately, the flock is down one bird. She recounts the story of what happened, how the kids reacted, and what she’s doing to protect her girls moving forward. Nikki’s also ready to try skiing again…soon. After seeing how much fun Brie’s been having in the show, Nikki’s considering hopping from snowboarding to the bunny hill and giving life with two skis a try. Brie is an expert skier, and she’s ready to give Nikki some pointers. However, there’s one thing that she needs to work on, and that’s a runny nose when sitting next to strangers on the chair lift. To close out the episode, they catch up on rude travelers, ear infections, Elsa from Frozen, and an Inspiration & Affirmation that’s as beautiful as a fresh snowfall.

Terms and conditions apply. This is the Nikki and Bree Show. Happy Monday, everyone. Welcome back to the Nikki and Bree Show. And you got Nikki and you got Bri.
Bri
You sure do. And we are recording from Denver, Colorado. So some of us are prepped for the snow while other of us, um, while some of us aren't.
Nikki
Well, in all fairness to me, I have all my stuff over there where afterwards I'm going to layer up.
Bri
All right.
Nikki
But for all of you, I thought I'd be a little sexy. This is as sexy as I'm going to get.
Bri
Oh, gosh.
Nikki
I know.
Bri
Which is so not true.
Nikki
I know. But Nikki and I are actually so excited to be here in Denver because we just got done doing something really, really fun. So we're just on Deion Sanders new talk show on Tubi. We got time today and I had so much fun.
Bri
So much fun. So you're gonna have to make sure to tune in tomorrow to see it. But we had an incredible time.
Nikki
Amazing conversations.
Bri
Yeah.
Nikki
And you guys actually all need to tune in because I know you all were listening. I don't know, maybe it was a month ago now when Mama Bella guessed who my first celebrity crush was and it was Deion Sanders. So I got to tell him to his face that he was my first crash. I had a poster of him. I had his jersey and he was very shocked.
Bri
I think he was. But I also love his co host, Roxy Diaz. Like, incredible, gorgeous, amazing. She's just awesome. Yeah, we had a lot of Great conversations.
Nikki
Yeah. You have to.
Bri
I feel like she's going to be one of my new BFFs.
Nikki
I agree.
Bri
Right? She and I connected.
Nikki
Well, she's single, too. And I feel like you two could, like, really paid the town Red.
Bri
We actually really could.
Nikki
Yeah. For sure. And I want to be there. Yeah. Actually, I have a really funny story to tell you is Nicole doesn't think this is funny, but I think it's great funny. So I pretty much am on the prowl of just trying to. I very much notice when single men are around now, and, gosh, I've been skiing all week in Lake Tahoe, and I'm with the kids at this burger joint, and these three guys walk in, amazing vibes. And I was like, oh, my gosh. I'm like, okay, two don't have rings. One has a ring. Maybe they might be single. I feel like I should just talk to them. See? So Buddy was, like, sitting, eating his food, and the guys were behind him. And I was so close to being like, buddy, smile for mama. But really, like, zoom in on the guys. So I text. I didn't do that, by the way. I didn't have a bad mom moment, so no one shamed me. I didn't do it. But I text. I'm like, hey, these guys walked in. They're your vibe. But she gave me the Heisman and said, absolutely not. I'm concentrating on myself. So.
Bri
Yeah. And I'm not even gonna elaborate on this conversation because we have such an incredible conversation about kind of stuff like this with Roxy and Dion, but there's so much more to it. So you're just going to have to tune in to their show to hear the rest of that conversation.
Nikki
Right.
Bri
I'm not going to entertain Bri right now. Like, I never entertain Bri when she texts me this kind of stuff. She does. Do not want to hear about it. Okay?
Nikki
For all this.
Bri
For it.
Nikki
Siblings out there and for all the best friends. You guys know exactly how I feel. You know what it's like to be in my position.
Bri
And it's. It goes along with the. Right. When you have a baby and everyone's like, so when are you going to have another baby? When's baby number two?
Nikki
All right. I'm one of.
Bri
Right. When you get married, when people are like, on your wedding day, like, so, when. When are you going to have a baby?
Nikki
Oh, yeah.
Bri
Now that you're married.
Nikki
I'm one of those.
Bri
When you get engaged. So when's the wedding?
Nikki
I'm that person yes. And I'm okay with it.
Bri
Okay, great.
Nikki
But I do have something very important to tell all of you because you've all been on this journey with me.
Bri
What journey?
Nikki
Well, I'm getting there. But this has been my most recent journey of having chickens. Oh, I know. So there's been one who's been a standout. I feel like, on the podcast, who I talk about, she's just. Has a big personality. She loves me. Even though she tried to peck my face, she loves me. On Christmas Day, our beloved Fluffy was eaten by a hawk.
Bri
You guys, it's very sad.
Nikki
Beyond so. Not even kidding. I've told you before, I let my chickens out of their coop a good part of the day because they say for sure, you need an hour, but I give them more. And Brian and I, we did really check to see if there was predators. We let weeks go by. We were monitoring things. I had these cameras in the back. Anyways, we thought, okay, it's safe. And the chickens are really smart, too.
Brian
Like, you can't.
Bri
Don't doubt a chicken.
Nikki
Like, they know how to find cover. They know how to hide. They're.
Bri
They're smart. I don't think anyone's ever doubted a chicken.
Nikki
I think people do. I think people doubt chickens. So, long story short, Brian and I let them out on Christmas day like we usually do. And we were actually outside majority of the day. It was a gorgeous day. So it was around 3 o'clock. We went in. I was like, oh, I'm gonna go watch a little virgin River. Yeah.
Bri
Yeah, we're gonna have to talk about this.
Nikki
Yeah. Not watch a little called binge.
Bri
Oh, we binged Virgin River.
Nikki
Like, even Brian was like, you're gonna go watch a show right now. I'm like, yeah, I really need to know what happens.
Bri
Yeah. So pun. Because there's another.
Nikki
I know.
Bri
So.
Nikki
But I was like, you know that's like 45 minutes, right? Yeah, almost an hour.
Bri
And then I was like, oh.
Nikki
And then we'll go back out, put the chickens away. No one was outside for we. I ended up going to the cameras and market it. It was like 38 minutes. Cause the kids were outside playing. Like, Brian was out there doing some yard work. That is when this darn hawk came and grabbed Fluffy. And so Brian comes running in the house, and he's like, bri, I can't find the chickens. And I'm like, what do you mean? He's like, well, Miss Hide and Seek is in the coop, like, hiding. But she. She wasn't hiding. Where she usually does. She was under the coop and looked terrified. We saw some white feathers and Brian's like, that can't be good. I'm like, but maybe all the chickens wanted to go to the neighbors and just you know, like, let's not think worst case scenario. So we go over to the neighbors. We can only find Tinkerbell who looked scared and was like running from us. It was like awful. But that's the only other chicken we can find. So we only could find two of the seven chickens. So I jump in my car, I'm driving through the neighborhood, I'm like going into like this, there's this one vacant house and I'm like, I don't even care. I like went to the backyard and walking all around and peeking over into neighbors yards. Like where did my chickens go? So Brian and I are like out searching. It's almost getting dark and like we're not giving up. So all of a sudden Brian's like looking at the bushes and he like screams my name. And you guys, the way he screamed, you just knew. I knew in my heart it wasn't a good scream. It was like a like Brianna. Like it was a sad scream.
Bri
Like yeah.
Nikki
I didn't know it was gonna be fluffy.
Bri
Yeah.
Nikki
But I knew and I was like, no way. So sure enough, we go look, it's Fluffy. I look up and in the tree that was like closest to where we were at, I. I could just feel something staring at me. The hawk was staring right at us. And I was like, oh my gosh. And what I read it was a red tail hawk. And so sometimes prey can be too heavy for them, but they will eat like the eyes and the neck first and then they take a break and then they'll come back and eat the rest of the body. But obviously I was not going to let that happen. So we get fluffy and we cover up and then slowly, I am not kidding you, it was like a movie. All of a sudden Brownie and princess jump out. Oh, and like how they're like slowly walking. I was like, oh my gosh. Then all of a sudden Pearl came jumping out or like popped out of this other bush. Like they were all hiding.
Bri
Yeah.
Nikki
But like think I was going around the yard so much like they were hiding really good. So that's three, four, five. So then I couldn't find two others. So then all of a sudden, gosh, which one? Another one pops out. So Brian and I got five of them in the coop, knowing the sixth one is Fluffy was gone. What we realized is we couldn't find Fiddler. And think Fiddler and Fluffy were always together.
Bri
And the standouts.
Nikki
The standouts. Like, Brian, I would like.
Bri
It's so. I feel that my two favorite. Like, I felt like now so much. Fluffy was my ultimate personality. She had all the feathers on her head. Why they held her Fluffy.
Nikki
Yeah. And she stood always on her feet. She was just so cute. So I was like, you know, I started crying. I was really devastated. I'm like, brian, I don't think we should tell the kids. And like, Brian, I had just like a really big moment outside for a while. Like, we put a movie on for the kids as it was getting dark, just as we, you know, know, are trying to search. So then I'm like, what happened to Fiddler? Like, maybe like they actually took Fiddler. Like, so I'm thinking Fiddler's gone too.
Bri
Yeah, of course.
Nikki
So long story short, crazy, upset, cried. I said my prayers. I dug a really deep hole and I did a little funeral. And it's like raining too. It's like drizzling. And I put these flowers over her body and I just was like, I am just so sorry this is the way you went out. But we'll always remember you. And like, you, you'll always be remembered and think, that's Birdie's chicken too. I'm like, do we tell Birdie? We were like, I don't know. So long story short, we go to sleep and then Birdie, we're like, we can't fling Fluffy or Fiddler. We just didn't have the heart to tell her yet. It's like Christmas Day. So Birdie goes to sleep and she like, says her prayers and she's like, please, God, just let Fiddler and Fluffy come home. And could you imagine? I'm sitting there knowing Fluffy viad and like, Birdie's prayers. I was like, oh, my gosh.
Bri
Oh.
Nikki
So the next morning, I after made the kids breakfast, I go out and like, very eerie morning, you know, it's like fog still raining. But I was like, I put on my rainclothes and I'm out there and I just wanted to relive the moments like, of just like, how did this happen? So the hawk came here, because I could tell by the feathers drugger over here, like, you know what I mean? And I like go behind our greenhouse and I'm standing there and I'm just like, upset. Who pops out? Fiddler. And I was like, fiddler. You guys, Fiddler was like, wet, looks up at me like a puppy. Like, you know the movie Puss in Boots looks up at me like that and I'm like, fiddler. And like, waddles like a penguin to me like a penguin. I literally got so emotional. I'm like, fiddler and like. And I just slowly am walking because I didn't want to, like, go to grab because they still get scared.
Bri
Yeah.
Nikki
So I just turned around. I'm like, slowly walking to the Cooper. Fiddler followed me all the way to the coop and just went right in. Oh, so sad. And so since then. So that was Christmas, our chickens, like, when we open up and we didn't even want them out. Like, for a good week, we would not let them out until. Cause we saw the hawks circling. So now you even, like, you know, when I opened up that thing, they would sprint out. They don't even sprint out anymore. They're terrified still. But so I'm sorry, everyone. Fluffy's gone, but we still have the six. And Brian and I ordered a new coop so we can have their coop in this one area that we can fence off and put in all these fun chicken toys. So then we never let them out because I just can't do that again. I can't go through the hawk death. And that's the hard thing is, like. And this is all of us who get animals, you know, one point they're going to die. Like, we're majority of the time, we live longer than the animals and the.
Bri
Pets we have, especially chickens, more so than like a dog or cat.
Nikki
Yeah, yeah, true.
Bri
No, but.
Nikki
And chickens have, like, always, like a weird depth. Like, it's never just seems peaceful. It seems like crazy. Like a. A predator gets them. Right. But then it started making me think, like, ugh. I just. My heart's not gonna be prepared when Winston goes and Penelope, because I've still crushed over Josie. And I was just like. But they give us so much love that I can never not imagine having animals. But losing an animal is, like the hardest thing.
Bri
The hardest thing.
Nikki
This was like, Fluffy, so innocent. All she wanted to do was just hang out with her other girls. And you.
Bri
What you learned was like, hawks go after the lightest one. Right?
Nikki
Right. They always go for the white ones. That's how they. They spot chickens, actually is like, if there's white in your little flock, that's how they spot em. They usually can't sometimes see the ones that are dark. And so of course, I did all this research and then so that makes me scared for Pearl, who's White, but yeah. So I don't want to be a downer on, but poor Fluffy.
Bri
I know. Rest in peace, Fluffy.
Nikki
Rest in peace.
Bri
Always remember you.
Nikki
Yeah. And I ended up breaking the news to Bert because I'm like, I can't lie to her.
Bri
No, you can't.
Nikki
And Birdie took it really hard. And I didn't give her all the details, but she did. She took it hard. And she was just like, you know, why Fluffy? Why her? And you guys know what I have on camera? Because I'm going through the camera, see if I can see the hawk attack. Two hours prior, Birdie was out with the chickens. She's by the garden beds and all the chickens are right there. And she's like, fluffy, Fluffy, come here, Fluffy. I'm your mommy. Come here, Fluffy, baby. I, like, watched it 20 times. Crying.
Bri
I was, you have to save that.
Nikki
I know. I need to. I need to go in and save it. But. And it was just like, there, like, Birdie was with Fluffy and then two hours later, just, like, gone. It killed me.
Bri
Yeah.
Nikki
But, you know, too bad you didn't.
Bri
Know that before about hawks.
Nikki
Well, and I know we would go power walking out there, we'd see hawk.
Bri
It's hawks everywhere in Napa.
Nikki
But I know this is going to sound crazy. I just didn't realize birds ate birds.
Bri
What?
Nikki
I didn't know birds ate birds.
Bri
Like hawks. I knew, like, hawks would go after birds.
Nikki
Really?
Bri
Yeah. I just feel like I hear hawksy. I mean, snakes.
Nikki
Snakes. That's not a bird.
Bri
No, I know, but what I'm saying is I was about to say snakes, birds, all that. Like, it just feels a hog and an owl seem different.
Nikki
An owl seems different.
Bri
And I guess chicken. I feel like everything eats a chicken.
Nikki
It's so sad. Everything. Yeah, everything goes after a chicken.
Bri
Everything goes after a chicken. I mean, the fact that we heard snakes will find chicken coops.
Nikki
Well, I'm gonna stop that.
Wayfair Representative
Yeah.
Nikki
You guys. Like, I didn't know chickens would bring this much. I mean, I'm even. Brian and I are in, like, Tahoe. And he even was like, we left two days later than what we should have because we just felt like the chickens still really needed us over, like, the events that happened on Christmas. And I'm like, I can't believe we're doing this, but these are the people Brian and I are. We're literally going home earlier than what we were thinking.
Bri
Just because we're like, the poor chickens.
Nikki
And they need us. These chickens own me. It's why. And I Can't even tell you the money Brian I dropped on this amazing chicken coop. It's actually predator safe.
Bri
Oh, good.
Nikki
Yeah. So safe.
Bri
Cuz they dick holes.
Nikki
Well, if it says predators in it. Well, now I'm like. I mean, snakes eat chickens.
Bri
What's something.
Nikki
But what snakes in Napa?
Bri
Well, there's rattlesnakes.
Nikki
There's no rattlesnakes where I live.
Bri
I wouldn't think.
Nikki
But a rattlesnake really eats a chicken.
Bri
I don't know. I feel like they have to.
Nikki
They swallow their prey. So like a mouse makes sense.
Bri
Yeah, but they would strangle it first and then they would.
Nikki
And they put their whole body in them. A rattlesnake. There's no way.
Bri
Just Google.
Nikki
I. Well, I started to Google a lot of things.
Bri
Yeah.
Nikki
Which wasn't good. But you know what? Let's talk about something. Yeah. More.
Bri
What a downer.
Nikki
I know. But I just wanted to give Fluffy the time on this podcast because we've talked about her a lot.
Bri
Yeah. Well.
Nikki
And so she needed a good goodbye.
Bri
Like Dion said. Fluffy's gone to the party. Yeah, she is.
Nikki
Definitely.
Bri
She's at the party. She is. There you go.
Nikki
The party.
Bri
Yeah.
Brian
Nicole, after the London trip that Brian and I took the kids to, we said every year we need to come up with a really fun trip. Where, I don't know, like a place we get to travel to. And it doesn't always have to be the mountains. London was a really neat experience. We're like, why don't we pick another country? Or we can pick somewhere here in the United States. The kids really haven't been to the east coast, but we were like, let's find one spot and get an Airbnb like we did in London, because it's nice. It's like, it feels like home away from home. And so he and I are starting to look. So you're gonna have to help us. Because 2025, it's like one of those things, I feel like with kids you have to plan a trip six months out, always has to be around school. But I feel like, you know, I always think of New York when I think of the east coast. But I think there might be some really other neat places like Vermont. But to find like a really fun Airbnb for family just might be the thing for 2025 for the Danielsons.
Bri
I agree.
Airbnb Representative
I mean, it's definitely the way to travel. Um, and what makes it even better is while you're living it up in someone else's home, you can actually Host on Airbnb while you're away. So why don't you try putting your house on Airbnb, making some money while you're out there spending some money.
Brian
You know, I tell Brian this all the time. I feel like we'd kill it on Airbnb.
Airbnb Representative
Yeah, I agree. I mean, think about it. If you host while you're away, it's basically like you're making money while you're spending money.
Brian
And you know me, that's what I like.
Airbnb Representative
I agree. And if the holidays drain your finances, so let's be honest, because they always do. Hosting is a pretty cool and unique way to make some money back.
Nikki
Right.
Brian
We spent a lot in London, and I would love to see some of.
Airbnb Representative
That money back, honestly. So for everyone out there, don't leave money on the table when you travel this year.
Brian
Okay, so I think Vermont it is, with then maybe my house going up, and then it'll be evens.
Airbnb Representative
I love it. Okay, so your home might be worth more than you think. Find out how much@airbnb.com host nothing feels.
Nikki
Better than after vacation or being on the road for business for a while. When you walk into your house and those smells and you just see all your coziness and all your decor that you just love, it's literally the greatest feeling.

Waiverhood, visit Wayfair.com or download the Wayfair app. That's W A Y-F-A-I R.com Wayfair Every style, every home. Well, let's talk about something fun. So this past week, I've been skiing, which has been amazing.
Bri
I'm joining next year.
Nikki
And that because I've been having so much fun. My sister for the first time in a very long time.
Bri
Well, no, I've always. I used to snow. Snowboard. And then I just, because of my neck, haven't been allowed to ski or snowboard. And I finally got the approval because I, you know, they've noticed more growth in my neck, which is amazing. And now the doctors have finally cleared me to ski.
Nikki
Yeah.
Bri
Which I might do it next year. I'm going to ski next year.
Nikki
I can't wait. And even Brian.
Bri
Yeah, Brian and I both are going to be on those bunny hills learning together with not Bunnies. What?
Nikki
You guys was straight? Well, you'll learn.
Bri
No, but that's what I'm saying. We're gonna learn. Yeah. Learn on bunnies. Go to greens and stick at greens. I feel like.
Nikki
No, you can do blues. You'll end up doing blues.
Bri
Okay. Just where I gotta keep it safe with the neck.
Nikki
Yeah. Even though I will say, the other day, the. This blue I went on, I didn't realize it was the hardest blue. I was thinking it was the easiest one. So it starts off super steep. And I was just a little bit like, you know, like, you get a little nervous because I started to go really fast and I was just like, oh, my gosh. Like, you know. But because I've taken a lot of lessons, I will say I, you know, I know all the techniques to slow down and not to fall. And so that really helps. And I suggest lessons for everyone.
Bri
Oh, everyone.
Nikki
To keep yourself safe and the people around you. Because I will say, like, obviously I'm skiing during a really busy time, but I see a lot of people out there who have no idea what they're doing. And they take people out and they really hurt people. Oh, no, you can get hurt.
Bri
So that's why I'm like, if I do it next year, I'm sticking to slow. Like, even though that's where, like, a lot of people probably suck are on. But at least they're not getting speed when they're higher up.
Nikki
Right. Well, and this is My thing. And maybe I'm wrong, but I see way more snowboarders falling than skiers.
Bri
Yeah. I like, that's why I used to always board. But I don't think I'll go back to boarding because skin skiing just for.
Nikki
Me seems easier boarding to slow down too. A lot of people just naturally go to their butt.
Bri
Yeah, totally do.
Nikki
So I feel like. But when I was. Because I. I like to watch and understand. But I was like, you know, I feel like I see way more snowboarders either eat it or like falling.
Bri
Yeah. I mean, you're on one board. That's tough. Over skiing. Even though skiing, I mean, they both. It's a tough spot sport. For sure.
Nikki
For sure tough. And I've been in lessons where half the, like my first time doing it my first season, half the people quit.
Bri
After like an hour.
Nikki
Well, because they were like, yeah, it's not for me.
Bri
Some people will realize it's not for them. And then after you fall so much and you're really sore and like, you don't want to go back the next day or it's. It's an incredible workout. And not only like for core and strength, but endurance. Like, you have to have great stamina. You. Your cardio has to be up. Like, those lungs are working.
Nikki
Yeah.
Bri
You know, well.
Nikki
And it's funny because Nicole's like, very fashionable for the snow. Like, you look so good.
Bri
Duh.
Nikki
But I feel like.
Bri
But it's so much fun to get dressed up.
Nikki
I know, but I feel like ski.
Bri
Hello.
Nikki
I'm not an incredible skier. I have to be dressed down. I can't like, be fashionable.
Bri
Oh.
Nikki
Like, I don't want to look like that person. So I haven't bought in a fun outfit yet. Like, I seriously.
Bri
Well, you have to understand too, I am more fashionable because all I've ever been able to do is just get to the bars and watch you all ski. And I sit and watch and so that's where you get to look super cute.
Nikki
Like, she wants me to buy the moon boots, which I know a lot of. You know what they are. Yeah.
Bri
And the moon boots are just. You're not skiing in those.
Nikki
But I will say, just being at some of the, like, mountain, like ski resorts, a couple people wear them and they stand out. But they're so obnoxious. And I just don't know if I'm there yet.
Bri
Really?
Nikki
How the water.
Bri
They're so hot.
Nikki
They are. They're amazing.
Bri
But I, I want next year to just do full on Aspen ski trip. But like, three.
Nikki
It's asprey.
Bri
No, but in Aspen. Oh, Aspen. Ski trip. But full life for like three to four days. But, like, just go nuts with the fashion. That's what I want to do this.
Nikki
If it's. All the places you could do, it would be there.
Bri
Oh. For like, I really. Everyone's social stuff, and I'm like, dying that I haven't gone yet.
Nikki
Well, I see. Interesting if like, how the skiing is, like, is it tough? Is it easy? Is it good?
Bri
I mean, it might be tough. I know it's good skiing, but I can't. I don't remember the tough or not. I'm sure, like, every mountain has tough. And yeah. You know, you have this few slopes that are easy.
Nikki
And I loved it because the other day I was finally like, whoa, I'm comfortable skiing.
Bri
Yeah.
Nikki
Seriously. It's weird. Like, all of a sudden I was like, I'm comfortable.
Bri
I love.
Nikki
So, yeah. And it was fun. And just to even see Birdie and Buddy, like, out there. Buddy tried snowboarding. Hated it. Wanted to go back to skiing. Birdie tried skiing. Hated it. Wanted to go back to snowboarding. But it was so weird. Their teachers timing. They both went up a couple levels.
Bri
That's great.
Nikki
But I was like, whoa.
Bri
Like, that's.
Nikki
It's crazy.
Bri
Like, that they're.
Nikki
I mean, and we're not that consistent. I want to be more consistent. So I didn't know for them, like, do they catch on? Or is it hard that we only do this a couple times a year?
Bri
Right.
Nikki
Like, I don't know. But. So we'll see. It's fine. I can't wait for you to join. Just because I'm like, kind of out there by myself. And you want someone to enjoy it with.
Bri
Yeah.
Nikki
Like to just chit chat on, like, you know, the lifts or something.
Bri
Right. Because it's like a fun Buddy thing too, for sure. And super embarrassing.
Nikki
I was talking to these one people on the lift, and I took a picture of myself, and all of a sudden I noticed had a huge booger in my nose. And I'm like, see, if I was in.
Bri
On the ski lift, if I was.
Nikki
On the lift with my sister, she'd say, oh, you got a booger in your nose. Instead, I'm talking to these people having this nice long conversation because we were going up high as I had a booger. My bugging.
Bri
That's the.
Nikki
And then when I take a photo like this, and then I knew I had it. And then I was like, trying with my big gloves like this and I'm sure it just, I was like, this is when you need someone and like they're obviously you're like sardines on the lift so they know I'm trying to grab my booger they've been staring at for the last 10 minutes. You know what I mean?
Bri
Yeah. So that was too bad. That is. That's all right. Boogie Months.

Nikki
Are here in Denver and we have to get to our flights.
Bri
That's right.
Nikki
So we are going to give you a little inspiration and affirmation and then we're praying that we get to Denver airport with no delays because we both got delayed yesterday.
Bri
Okay. Knock on wood. Knock on wood. I juju out there because and also.
Nikki
I'm just gonna tell everyone this is a hard time of travel and there was so many inpatient people yesterday and there was one person being very not nice to the people behind the desk and I, I didn't interrupt. I almost.
Bri
I'm sure everyone that's listens to our podcast are very kind people. I don't even need to tell them.
Nikki
But I so bad wanted to be like they're not in charge, right? It's not their fault the plane's coming in like from another place.
Bri
Like it happens though. But it hit us with that inspo and affirmation.
Nikki
Bri.
Bri
Yeah, I was about to say yeah, none of it made sense.
Nikki
I was telling Nicole I thought it'd be really fun today for inspiration, affirmation, to go up something with snow. I was, like, curious, like, I want to look up snow quotes. Like, you know nothing about Frosty the Snowman, but, like, is there something, like, cute? And of course, I saw this one, and there was actually a lot of very inspiring snow quotes. Oh, I think that what snow does, right?
Bri
What snow does. The beauty of it. So much. So a season.
Nikki
So I saw this one by Kahil Gibran, and this is the quote. Kindness is like snow. It beautifies everything it covers. And that is so true, because we had a snowstorm the other day. I kept sending a cool videos and pictures. She was probably so sick of it, but. And I felt like I was in a snow globe. But all I kept looking at was, oh, my gosh, it kept getting more beautiful, more still, more quiet as, like, the hours were going on. But I could not stop staring. Like, I set myself up at this because it was windy, so it wasn't, like, safe to be out. So I set myself up by this window. And yeah, I had, like, my pattern. I was watching the show, but I was looking out a lot, too. And of course, Brian's by the fire reading. He's probably like, I wish my wife would just read with me. But I was like, literally, like, oh, my gosh. Like, how does it just keep getting prettier and prettier? And I was in such awe. And I'm like. And then it was untouched, right? The snowplow hadn't come. Nothing came yet. So when you see all this untouched snow and how the trees look and.
Bri
All that, I was just like, nothing.
Nikki
Gets more beautiful than this, right?
Bri
And, like, I kind of take it, like, when it says it beautifies everything it covers. Like, obviously, snow is like water, right? So it's watering all these things that will come to life in the spring and give us such incredible beauty. But the snow gave these living things nutrients and all this stuff. So I take it as, like, you know, as a mother, like, I am snow that, like, is in charge of beautifying my son. That I love that, right? That, like, I cover him with my knowledge and my wisdom and my protection and my love and my happiness. And that's what I think. Like, I'm his snow angel. And that's how I took that quote. Like, I cover and I beautify him. And I do that with my family, so with you, Bri. And maybe I do that with my career. And my home and other things that I look at myself as. So snow. And how can I cover this and beautify it?
Nikki
I kind of look at you like Elsa putting a little ice everywhere.
Bri
I. Mateo was recently sick again. We're dealing with ear infections, I feel like.
Nikki
And I don't know what you all think, but I feel like he needs to get the brains.
Bri
Well, I'm gonna definitely take him to an ear specialist just to see. But the doctor was like, look, until he's five and this consistently happens. They probably aren't gonna want him to have surgery with tubes, but we'll see. But I got him an el cuz we went to like Rite Aid or CVS to get then his antibiotics and they didn't have a lot of toys. He goes, well, can I have a toy? And I'm like, of course. You know? Cause he felt so bad. And one of the only toys there was Elsa.
Nikki
Wow.
Bri
And I'm like, well, you want an Elsa Barbie doll? He's like, yeah. So we were braiding her hair together, and I was like, you know, but. So, yeah, we had the Ice Queen. We had the Ice Queen at her house. Ice Queen or something this last week, you know, but. Yeah, but I love that. And everyone make sure tomorrow to check Bri and I out on we got time with Deion Sanders and Roxy Diaz on Tubi. Incredible conversation. We love it. And also tune in to Netflix. I know I don't think you may have talked about this when I was mia, but I just recently posted it on my socials. But Queen of the Villains, it was so beautifully done. It's an incredible show on women's wrestling in Japan about just some incredible iconic wrestlers that truly changed the game for women, but had really touching, incredible stories. And the acting in it is tremendous. I gotta dub the American version. So it was really cool to just get into the world of dubbing and voiceovers.
Nikki
It's hard.
Bri
Dubbing is so hard because I don't think I've ever talked about it yet on here, have I?
Nikki
I don't know. I don't think. No.
Bri
It was a really incredible experience, One that I'd love to do more of, but it was a really tough experience and a lot of work goes into dubbing. So really appreciate people who dub. I watch a lot of new watches shows because they want you like, you just. There's a lot that goes in it. And then also having to recreate sounds and wrestling matches that was really tough. Like when she gets kicked in the guts or when she's like getting beat up and I have to do that on my own. And I remember asking the director like, can someone just come in here and beat me up? Like it'd be so much easier. But I gotta give it to you. Give us your best kick in the guts. No, it's funny because after I did it, because it took me, I think it was like about a week or like four days. Um, my voice was gone. I couldn't even talk.
Nikki
Our voices get right.
Bri
It's different when you're dubbing for wrestling because it's like not only are you doing the character work and then we had to do. And when you watch the TV series, their matches are long. They do full matches, which is incredible. So definitely go give them some love. It's incredible. And me and them, they'd all love your support and love. So go give it thumbs up. Go watch it. And yeah, we got traders coming up. We got traders. We have a great episode for you this Wednesday and set your alarms for that because that is this Thursday. The traders find out am I going to be a trader or faithful?
Nikki
I can't wait one now. And also stay tuned because a couple of the cast members will be coming on the Nikki and Bri show. We're not going to tell you who because we like to get have surprises.
