Yes. We're in 2026. You know, I will say it all felt fast because we had appearances right. On New Year's Eve. So all of a sudden I was thinking today, and I know you and I like, we're attempting dry January, except we have some exception days. But I need to play. I'm gonna say it wrong.

We didn't even listen to it at all.

Like full on country, rap, hip hop, grungera. We listened to everything except the that. And I realized that doesn't make it like very official for me.

Okay, well, I mean, you've been home for a while. You.

I know, but I need it with like a nice like glass of wine with you or something.

Even though I'm trying to be dry.

Jan. Dry Jan. You know, I am doing dry January with a few exceptions.

Yes. Like, I'll ad. I'm already very excited to go to the Fiesta Bowl. Like, I'm literally getting my glam done before the plane. Because when I land and check into my hotel and I'm like, oh, well, now I definitely have time to go to the bar and get a drink or two. Like, a nice drink.

What do you do at the fiesta? Actually, you might do, like, march on the field.

Well, no, the main thing as the grand marshal. Yeah. Is the parade. The parade's the biggest thing. And what's really incredible about the Fiesta bowl parade and everything that gets put into it is all of those sponsors and companies, everyone that you see that's a part of it, they give money back to the communities in Arizona all year long.

So the parade actually represents what all these companies are giving back to the communities, and that's like the final, like, thing, like, their end of the year. Do you know what I mean?

So it's actually really cool what it represents. You would have loved all the representation of the Native Americans, of the. The tribes and the reservations that all came representing their reservation. I love that. It's amazing. And the medallion that was made for me.

Did you see the medallion that was made for me in those photos?

You got to keep that.

That was made specifically for me. So the gentleman that made it, and please correct me if I'm wrong, we have always. Growing up in Arizona, because they are native to our land, we've called them Native Americans. Can I still say that? Yeah, that's what I assumed.

For sure. The why Commanders of Commanders is they used to be the Redskins, which no bueno. And then I There's Mato. He's telling us how it is.

Yeah, this. There'll be. Babe, I'll find your landing gear later, baby. I will find your landing gear later.

Yeah, but I think. And then, like, some people will call them Indians, Which. That's.

[Nikki]

But there's another word for their indigenous. Indigenous people, too. But. Okay. So he made that medallion for me. But this is. The thing comes. Oh, no, babe, Mommy has to work, and Mommy's on a time limit. Oh, look at the chocolate.

So when they make those medallions specifically for someone, they were telling me it was incredible. So he wanted to know my whole story. He goes, I need to know everything about.

[Bri]

Oh, my gosh.

[Nikki]

So they say everything. They tell him everything about me. So that's when he started to create it. And then throughout it, they stop and they give blessings to that person that it's being made for. One of the women said it was the most incredible experience. She goes, I don't think you understand how many prayers and blood blessings were sent your way.

[Bri]

Don't you love that?

[Nikki]

Okay.

[Bri]

I mean, it's such beautiful.

[Nikki]

Did you just put the l. You put the landing gear in my hair? He put the landing gear in my hair.

[Bri]

You know.

[Nikki]

Do you understand how long we went to bed to find this landing gear? That thing? That's a. When his planes lose their landing gear. You see that? Oh, yeah. It's a meltdown. Wow. He's like, I can't fly the plane without its landing gear. And I'm like, well, let's pretend. No, I mean, he has its landing gear. So, anyway. Anyways. Sorry. So it was. I have it now, right now on my altar, like, by all my other spiritual stuff and my Bible. And I just. And I got to speak with him for a long time, and it was cute because he wanted to say a few words, and it was just incredible. His words. And I. I think, too, like, you and I grew up in Arizona, right? Arizona's home for us. And we know the beauty of what the Native American people bring and their presence. And it was just having them all walk in the room and just be coming from different reservations, but also their presence. Some of the young kids were decked out in their outfits. I. I don't. I don't think it was the Apaches. I can't remember which tribe. And they were doing the dancing and with the drums and then singing. But we grew up with that because, you know, we, if you grew up in Arizona, it was so amazing. Not only did we get to learn about all the different tribes, but tribes in our area and then we got to go visit the reservations and then we got to learn. We just learned so much about all that for sure. And so for me, when they were there and just the presentation and their presence, I'm like, see, this is Arizona me. This makes something like at a totally different level than any other.

Elevates it.

It elevates it than any other appearance in a way that I've been to. Like.

[Bri]

Well, it's because you're were raised there and you're from there. So it's more special, right?

[Nikki]

It hits, it hits you like deep. So anyways, they're now going to have. I went to the children's hospital after two. Oh, Brie.

Yeah, I'm sure.

Oh my gosh. I bet they're, they're making a package. And so I'm going to do something of what I did at the parade and the children's hospital and so they'll have that at halftime. And so now at this point, I just get to have fun and get to just be a part of all the festivities of the Fiesta bowl. And we're in for a really great game, which is amazing. I love that they said they had people begging for tickets.

It's completely sold out. But when people knew Ole Miss and Miami were going in, they were like, no. How can we make this happen? We have to be there. Oh my gosh.

And I have a question for you. What? So how's the first week of 2026 going?

I mean, it's going great, as you can see by my arm here. You know, I think like everyone, you up your wellness, all the biohacks. So I did some fun wet cupping on my shoulders and my back and we did this whole arm. So yeah, I, you know, I kind of have like this fun checklist of like different little biohacking stuff I've been wanting to do.

Yeah.

[Bri]

And that was on it.

And just, I don't know, just health and wellness is, you know, and it's weird resets and it's weird because we always make it January. But I do think you have to.

I think it's great.

Yeah. You know. Yeah. My house is. Everything's put away super clean. It feels very back to minimalist feeling and I love it. It's been a really great week.

And Brian's been home, so we've had a lot of time together and with the kids, I don't know, it's been really nice.

What about you?

[Nikki]

Well, real quick, before we go into me, tell me you were telling me something about what January represents.

[Bri]

Well, I think everyone, you kind of see this on Instagram, but I mean, it's definitely the month of like hibernation, the month where you're supposed to kind of, you're actually not supposed to really do anything.

[Nikki]

Yeah.

[Bri]

It's where you hibernate. You really find your slumber in a way. So don't feel bad if you find yourself more lounging around or, you know, staying in bed, reading a book, watching a show that this month is for that it's supposed to be the decompression off the holidays. Also, you know, when you look at animals and even plants, like for example, even I'm a gardener. Right. So we even see our plants are, you know, underground hibernating. Doesn't mean they're, they're not working.

[Nikki]

Yeah.

[Bri]

But they're not, you know, they're still in their type of slumber. So us as humans need to take note of plants and animals and do the same type of thing and just slowly regain Your energy for the year. And I think the best thing about January is, you know, everyone thinks to rush to the gym to work out and get crazy into it. No, more, like, take this month to slowly get back to, like, who you are. Like, that means journaling, figuring out, like, where you're at in life, where you want to go. Like, take things slow this month.

[Nikki]

And then I feel like you actually will have more positive results and stick to something. Or when you just take this time to adjust, like you said, hibernate, to just soak in, like, what are the things I want? And then you slowly start to hit hard, even if it's February, start to get into whatever workouts you want or the changes you want to make.

[Bri]

Right.

[Nikki]

I love that. And I feel that it is funny because I, I heard someone say it yesterday too. Like, gosh, I, I just feel more tired lately. And I'm like, because it's January, so just, it's fine. And I feel the same.

[Bri]

But it's the rainy time. It's cold, more dark.

[Nikki]

Right.

[Bri]

I mean, you know, like, you look at it, it's like the sun sets. I feel like at 5pm it's just.

[Nikki]

I was stuck.

[Bri]

Yeah.

[Nikki]

Well, you know, my delight. I, I mean, to kick off my week, it was, I mean, think last week I was on my New Year's Eve week. I was on like seven flights. Six. Six flights. But my final flight home got delayed, what, five hours, right, Bri? Yeah. And you know when you're just craving to get home. But I will say this has been my first week not flying to RAW Monday night. RAW in a very, very long time.

[Bri]

Wow.

[Nikki]

And I missed my crew, but I was like, it, it felt really good to be home, to actually sit on the couch and watch football, because I've either been at the games or been watching the games on the road. So it was fun to sit and be with mom and Mateo and just, like, watch football and then just wake up in my bed on a Monday. I was like, whoa, this is different. But it felt great.

Yeah.

[Nikki]

And the first week's been great. My first week of 2026, it's, it's kind of felt exciting. I feel like I'm a bit in that, like, hibernation. Well, as you can see, everything's almost down in my house. Christmas wise, we really soaked in the last Sunday of like, okay. Mateo wanted everything up still, so I was like, will keep everything up. But other than that, I, I, I just. You know what? It was our first week. I went from, like, people don't realize. So we were in Vegas and Vegas was a whirlwind. We were doing the Nicki and Bri show. We had all our Bonita Bonita appearances. And then I woke up, you guys, early on the first to fly to Oakland, Arta met me with Mateo at the airport. I took Mateo to Legoland and then Artem came Friday at some point. And then when he showed up to Legoland, then I had to fly to Phoenix so I could do the Fiesta bowl early in the morning on Saturday. And then I made my way home Saturday night. But I will say that first week, like I was when I was on my way to get Teo and even though I was tired, I was like, had such a grateful heart. Cause I'm like, whoa, Bonita Bonita. That was crazy. Just to see her growth of it and all the positive feedback, but to see the wine starting to even be featured in local magazines and then seeing like how they got sold out at Smiths and they had to go get.

Buy More from other Nevada beverage. Yeah. And so that I just was like, oh my gosh, so grateful. And then I just love Legoland and it's Mato's happy place. Like all the kids there are very much like him. So he just sits and plays and has. So not sits and plays, but he builds with all. All these kids that are just like him. They. They're just very like minded. And I just see how much he thrives. And so they were telling me, they're like, you know, it's in Oakland, but it might be in other places. They have Lego leagues. So you join, you're on a team. And so when you show up. I can't remember what they. They have a name for the teams when you show up, they.

They're.

[Nikki]

Each team's handed a thing of Legos and then they tell them what to build and then it's time.

[Bri]

Oh, wow.

[Nikki]

Yeah. The one of the parents was saying that their daughter did it for years and just loved it. And leg is like her spot. So I was talking with her because she's 14 now and she still likes to go, but she doesn't do the leagues anymore. But she loved doing them growing up.

Wow.

Isn't that cool?

[Bri]

That is cool.

So I'm like, eventually I need to look in that tail. Because he's just. He loves the building. He's getting really good. He builds airplanes from scratch. And I'm like, wow.

But amazing.

It was cute because when we first walked in and he was Telling everyone like, yeah, Santa, God is here.

[Bri]

Like, how cool.

[Nikki]

Like, you know what I mean? Everyone's like, whoa.

Yeah.

I was like, yeah, that's actually really cute. It was.

Lego is a great story spot.

[Nikki]

I mean, you remember it. So fun.

Yeah.

Great spot for kids. The castle. You know what I like as parents, we actually get kind of sit back and chill and we could watch them do everything. Yeah. And then they kind of get this feeling of freedom. I mean, until Mato decided to run after the Lego Royals. And when I go, they are strangers. No, they're not, Mom. They're the Royals of Legoland. And I'm like, mommy doesn't know them. But mom, it was okay. No, it was not. It was. He's sprinting and I'm looking like, oh, he's going to stop at the door. Right? And just ran through the door with him. And the people were running so fast. So Mat was running fast with them.

Oh my gosh.

[Nikki]

I was like, oh my goodness. I was full sprint, screaming his name. And you know when you run by that restaurant.

Oh, I know, exactly. And I was, goodness me.

[Nikki]

Yeah.

But that's fun. I mean, I'm excited cuz this weekend Buddy starts his flag football league.

[Nikki]

I can't wait to come watch.

Yeah, they're the Trojans.

Yeah. What did he call him at first? Because how he would like, would look at his jersey and pronounce it. But so it'll be fun. I get to watch Buddy in his first like, football game. And then we'll watch the Philadelphia Eagles after.

And then he actually. And he starts basketball tomorrow.

So he's doing basketball and flag football this winter.

In heaven. But there was something. Oh, you know what I wanted to bring up real quick about our Vegas trip. Well, a few things. What? For New Year's Eve? You guys, if you're about Vegas, Brie's gonna laugh. Because all the times we've stayed at the Wynn Hotel, I've never been to the spa or the gy. Brie and I got an IV before everything because we're like, why not, like, just get a bunch of vitamins in us?

But it's mainly gluten free. So they try to be as gluten free as possible, which I think is great. But you guys, your girl would go walk to get their margaritas.

And, like, you're like, oh, no. And then I gotta switch this. And then maybe not that. And we're overwhelmed, and it's very rare. We're thinking of all the good things. We kind of make everything. So I saw this quote, and I'm like, oh, this would be good for people to start to think about. I saw it on. Whoa. I saw it on the Instagram awaken1, and this is it. If you can overthink the worst, why can't you overthink the best? And I was like, ooh, I like that because I fall into overthinking the worst at times to where I've, like, changed flights, I've canceled things, I've, like. You know what I mean? Because of that night anxiety. But I'm like, I need to change it and start to overthink the best. Why not sit there instead of thinking, like, the worst is coming, or, oh, my gosh, I put myself in this situation, or, I don't know, like, am I the. Whatever. I'm gonna start to think, like, the Best of the situation. The best of me.

You know what? I love that because I do the same as. You know, I'm the queen. Oh, you are asking for edits in the middle of the night, changing flights in the middle of the night, canceling things in the middle of the night. And I tend to think of it that way. And usually it's majority of the time being exhausted, but then also nerves about how's Mateo gonna feel? Or what are people gonna think? Or blah, blah, blah. And so you're right. I need to start overthinking the best. Like, maybe there was a reason why I booked this in the first place, or there was a reason why I.
