You know, with deals and Cyber Monday, I mean, Black Friday started, I think, a week before actual Black Friday.

So you and mom were blowing me up with the whole Amazon on deal saver fines.

I'm sorry.

It was crazy.

Amazon crushed it this year with Black Friday sales. They did it for, like, a little over a week. And this was the one year where I was like, I am going to be fully prepped in the way where I'm going to take advantage of Black Friday sales and get everyone's Christmas gifts all done and do some therapy shopping for myself.

[Brie Bella]

So you just did everything on Amazon you had?

[Nikki Bella]

Well, no, not everything on Amazon, but majority.

[Brie Bella]

I mean, even mom was sending toothpaste. She got.

[Nikki Bella]

Oh, I stocked up. I stocked up for household items and items for myself because the deals were just so incredible that I was like, how am I gonna pass this up? Because I'm gonna be more upset at myself in a few months when I need things, and I'm like, oh, if only I got it. Half the price.

[Brie Bella]

But I have to tell you, I didn't do any Amazon shopping, and I don't feel like I missed out.

[Nikki Bella]

Oh, well, when you see my house and then I tell you the deals I got. Yeah.

[Brie Bella]

Well, can I just tell you, though, sometimes Amazon. And maybe I'm alone in this, but I feel like I'm not. I feel like a lot of people feel like me. Sometimes Amazon makes me feel like it's all fake money. Like, really. Like, it's so easy to click, click, click that like, sometimes you're forgetting about budgeting, you're forgetting about your money you have. It's just all too Easy. And I think, and I don't know, I know it's the brie bad news, but I feel like there's an addiction to the click, click, click. Everything's easy access. But I think it can get you in trouble.

[Nikki Bella]

Well, it could get you in trouble. If you're not going to be a responsible adult and budget, then. Yeah, but if you're going to be a responsible adult, then you're gonna budget and say like, look, I have this. Like, I even was doing where I would go to some sites that were non Amazon and I was like, oh, I really like this. I wonder if it's a better price on Amazon and vice versa. I saw something on Amazon I liked. I would go to the actual site and I'm like, who has the better deal? And there were sometimes like a few dollars difference. So.

Wow.

[Nikki Bella]

I made sure to budget and I'm so excited with some of my purchases. Like, I got incredible stuff. One thing I got for myself that I love and I don't know where I've been and how I. I haven't heard about this, but. Have you heard about Hatch?

[Brie Bella]

Well, I. When the kids, well, especially Buddy was a baby, I felt like there was like a hatch, like baby lamp or whatever or like sound machine.

[Nikki Bella]

Sound machine. Okay, So I didn't know about Hatch at all. And so I saw like the little baby section. But how they're all about like better sleep, natural sleep, healthy routines, and the best for your own Z's. Because it comes with an like, like your own Z, Z, Z Z's. But I like that your own Z's.

[Brie Bella]

I was like, wait, is this like new lingo?

[Nikki Bella]

Right? But so you take a survey on their app, they really figure out the best for you. I was excited about this because I like the whole. I love just the aesthetic of how like the clock looks. So you get time when you need time. The point is to have your cell phone far away. So if you need time, you have time. And it does a sunset sunrise, the right meditation for you before bed. And then it does this like other little thing right after. That's three minutes. And then it puts on the type of noise you need for sleep, which I have always noticed myself more drawn to brown noise than white noise. And it automatically made it after the survey, like, she's best with brown noise.

And I'm like, yeah, so I'm the same. Like, I need more of a fan noise, like lighter, like, than like the.

[Nikki Bella]

Yeah.

[Brie Bella]

Like I literally will wake up if I hear the real hard white noise.

[Nikki Bella]

Right.

And like, Brian needs the raindrops, which I can't do.

[Nikki Bella]

I cannot do.

And think he was in his bathtub.

Or if I'm meditating, I could do raindrops. I can't sleep all night when he.

Takes his naps because he knows I can't do it at night. You have to hear the rainstorm going on in the bedroom.

And I'm like, that helps you sleep. He's like. Like a baby.

Well, my first night, seven hours straight of like crazy deep slumber.

So then I'm bummed because I had it in my cart because it was still on sale for Cyber Monday. And I kid you not, all of a sudden, this morning I go, oh, my goodness, they're my carts because I want to give them gifts. Oh, they were. They went back to regular price. Did. Which it's.

[Brie Bella]

So I'm not getting one.

[Nikki Bella]

I don't know. I'm deciding if you should spend regular price or not. Yeah, but you know, about you. No, but I will say I got you something that I got myself a long time ago. And the thing was like 60% off and it almost made me mad for what I paid for it. But this device is amazing. And I got you one of those.

I actually got your Christmas gift too. Now, I went to a local shop, so I supported local. So everyone knows. But I got. I think you're gonna really like what I got. It's a mixture of function and mental.

Like, I mean, are we playing a guessing game? Like physical or something?

[Brie Bella]

Yeah, I don't know. Physical function with.

Okay, well, let's just not give away our Christmas gifts. I like surprises. But another buy that I got. Oh, God, that I was really excited about, that I got for myself and I got for someone else's.

A Christmas don't make us go be consumers.

[Nikki Bella]

Oh, gosh. This is. It's Giving Tuesday, right? Well, I got. Once I got it for myself and tested it out, I got it for others to give. So there you go.

[Brie Bella]

No, Giving Tuesday is not about that.

[Nikki Bella]

But I got it for myself to test it out. Of course, I wanted to make sure I was giving a top notch gift. So the brand. I might say this wrong. Vitruvi. So I love their diffuser. Diffuser.

Oh, yeah, I know that brand.

Right? Gorgeous. First got to know them in Air1 and I was like, oh, My gosh. I know. So they have the cloud humidifier. Insane sale on Amazon for Black Friday. So I was like, I'm gonna get it. Love it. So I got it for some others for Christmas gift.

So you're just making it spa Nicole up in your room?

[Nikki Bella]

You guys, you have no idea. Well, because I love humidifiers, and Mateo and I both need a humidifier just with allergies here. But also, humidifiers are amazing for anti aging. They're incredible. Yeah, so. And they also say they improve your sleep. And so I've realized, sadly, that I would been for so long mainly using diffusers. Diffusers. When I thought they were humidifiers, which kind of have the same feel. But I do see a humidifier brings more moisture in the air. Yeah.

And a diffuser is like a smell thing.

[Nikki Bella]

Yeah. But you see all the stuff come out.

[Brie Bella]

Yeah. Like perfumes and the essential oil.

[Nikki Bella]

I put my oils in there.

Yeah, the essential oils.

I know. All of a sudden, I. A few days ago, I was like, what? Like, you know, when you get hit with something, you go, I have been.

Using, like, Buyer's remorse.

No, I've been using diffusers this whole time that I thought were humidifiers.

[Brie Bella]

No, that's crazy. Well, how did you not know the difference?

[Nikki Bella]

Well, it looked like a humidifier.

I tell you what, one time I didn't read the directions right, and I put, like, half a bottle of essential oil in my diffuser.

[Nikki Bella]

Oh, gosh.

[Brie Bella]

I swear I'm supposed to do two drops. I was about to call you to come get me because I was about to pass out in bed, like, just because of the smell.

[Nikki Bella]

I can only imagine.

[Brie Bella]

Dizzy.

[Nikki Bella]

Yeah, you can only do a few drops.

I know. It was awful.

[Nikki Bella]

So, yeah, those were some of my buys that I was really excited about. Of course, I got, you know, all Tay Tay stuff, and I. I got everyone everything. Birdie and Buddy.

So you had a great, great time on the Internet?

[Nikki Bella]

Oh, yeah, I did. The Internet loved me. My credit card, not so much.

[Brie Bella]

That is so bad.

I had no idea that on, like, fine art, like true authentic artwork, there was. There were deals. And so one of the Cherished dot com.

[Brie Bella]

Right.

[Nikki Bella]

Yeah, Uncherished. But like, one of the stores that's a part of Cherishes, who I bought a lot of the artwork in the speakeasy from. And they were having great deals. So we got two new paintings.

[Brie Bella]

I thought we got more.

[Nikki Bella]

We've two, and then we have to make one more deal on the one. Oh, we never finished, but we have two that are on their way.

[Brie Bella]

Yes.

For the horse room. The room actually that we record in one that Brie and I have been waiting. We've been watching it for like a year and a half. So crazy expensive. And it went 70 off and I, like, sent to debris. I'm like, Brie.

And then you put a bid in to even go lower and they accept it. Got it. You can tell there, you know what it is. They were at the point in their life where they're like, we gotta get this line.

And horse needs to find a home.

[Brie Bella]

Needs to go.

So that one, I'm so excited for. Late 1800s France. Gorgeous. It's just done so well and beautiful. It's going to be perfect in here. And then there's another one. This one's actually from the 70s, but a female jockey. But the way she looks and how you see the painting. Very strong, very strong. And. And it's a really large painting. So it's. When you walk into this room, it's just going to set the tone so beautifully. So I'm really excited for those and the deals that we got. Like, I just can't believe it.

Amazing, amazing deals. It's fine because I was at the playground and you kept sending me.

I know.

And Brian's like, what are you doing?

I literally could have bought ten pieces of art.

Shoot, I would have. I would have listened, honestly. But then this is. The bummer is now you're telling us about it all. So then now when we go, we're all going to look at it regular price. Now I'm going to go to Hatch and I'm going to be debating should I get it or not.

Right. But at least you could prep for next year.

Okay, So I have to wait a year till I get my Hatch.

I need to let this everyone know how. I was supposed to have this big family Thanksgiving in Washington State. And Brian and I were very ready for it. And last minute, we ended up having nobody. Well, Brian's mom, but poor Mateo got a double ear infection.

Double both ears.

So they couldn't make the flight. No, we were Brian's sister and her family. They couldn't make the flight because Billy was going through some sick sickness stuff. And I was just like. But you know, I will say this. I was so sad. All of a sudden you go from being mentally prepared to have a big Thanksgiving to all sudden so tiny. And I didn't even cook. Like, I didn't cook because Betty made a Dutch baby and the pumpkin cake. And then Brian and I just ordered from this local spot, which ended up being delicious. And I sat on the couch and I'm like, usually I'm like, stressed. I'm usually, like, having the oven go and all the different things. Like, you know, having my notebook writing things down. And I just sat and I looked out at the water and the trees and I had the calmest, sweetest little Thanksgiving.

See, it was needed. You deserved that.

[Brie Bella]

Yeah. Even though I do like the chaos and I like family. But it was needed. I watched these two bald eagles hunting and flying around. It was actually, I will say this, I really wanted to go to Washington State for Brian. Just him retiring. And I feel like we always go up to the lake. And so I was like, it'll be nice. Next year, but I honestly feel that way. The weather is perfect. Fall weather, all the colors around the valley, the vineyards, and a lot of people travel in. So I just realized this year, like walking around and doing some drives, that the spirit of the holidays truly is here. Thanksgiving week, and everyone's doing their Christmas tree lightings, like, at all our favorite spots. And they're all having their own, like, sidewalk cells or just really engaged in the holiday. And so I was like, gosh, it's so magical here this week. Like, it really is so special. So I really just enjoyed taking in Napa Valley.

So next year, if I don't do here in Napa, are you going to stay? Not.

I just might.

I just. This is my thing. Even though I do love Tahoe, and Tahoe is always a hit or miss, whether it's going to be snowing or not. Being not snowing. There's something about Thanksgiving. And I don't know if it's because it's such a holiday surrounded by food, but to be outside and be active and have that kind of weather, but feel a little chilly, but not too chilly. I think that's why it's so perfect. It just gave me Thanksgiving vibes. And you know what? It just brought me back to Brawley in Phoenix. All those different years as children that we'd have Thanksgiving. It gave me those feelings. So I think that's why I fell for it so much.

I know. But I see. I do it for Brian because we spend, you know, it. It's nice for him to also get to the mountains. And so it's like our good. It's a good time for us, like, Thanksgiving week, so kids get a full week off. So to go up to the mountains, it's just such a nice time.

Yeah, that's true. Well, speaking of Christmas Eve, one thing I did a lot Thanksgiving week, and I feel like, you did too. And the world. We watched a lot of Christma movies.

Oh, we did. It was nice because I decorated before I went to Washington.

Yeah.

Because I wanted the kids. Because they went before me. I wanted them to come back and walked into the house and. And you guys, I literally got an elf on the shelf, which the kids freaked out over because, you know, they've been watching those Elf on the shelf.

I love those episode movies.

[Brie Bella]

Even though Buddy was like, that doesn't look real. It looks like a toy. And I'm like, but at night you watched, he becomes real and flies and tells Santa if you're good or not. And literally, Buddy's been a little naughty with him and just dissecting him. Like, those don't look like real feet. Like. And I'm just like, yeah, but Birdie's really been on it. And I will hear her going up to the elf and just saying, okay, so what I would like for Christmas, that's. It's really cute. And they named him Chocolate Sprinkle. But just having the house decorated and starting to watch Christmas movies. I think his Thanksgiving came late this year.

Yeah.

I've been like, craving it. And you know me, I'm usually like, don't decorate before Thanksgiving. And I. I loved getting the whole house ready and just seeing my Santas go up and just the tree, the whole thing. I just love this time of year.

I love it. That's was it Saturday. I spent. I did the day, like, putting away my Thanksgiving decorations, pulling out the Christmas. So it was cute when Matteo came over to my house and he was just like, christmas. And he just loves it. Like, he can't stop. Like, you saw him FaceTime this morning.

Oh, yeah.

Just with the tree and with. With everything he's been.

And you and I are really good about our candles.

You walk in and it smells like the gingerbread house. I swear.

Or like a winter wonderland.

Right. And I made sure to get. I added a few more decorations this year that I knew Mateo would be very drawn to. Carousel, Circle, the trains and with the music and lights. And that's all he did. And I loved it because when he came to my after school yesterday, he was like, no tv, just Christmas. And I'm like, yeah, exactly. But Christmas movies, I have to say.

But look at what he drew me this morning. He goes, look, mom, it's Charlie Brown. And Mateo's now starting to really, like, draw things. But how cute.

Oh, we had to turn it off. They were freaking out.

Loved it. And I'll say. But the actresses killed it. Yeah, everyone in it killed it. Everyone was so great. But it's that part to be continued. Which I was like, interesting because someone like me, who's very familiar with Wicked, I was like, okay, the movie was long. Like, what, two and a half hours or something.

And I'm thinking that second part's a lot shorter. But I. I did see, like, I think they're adding new things, but it doesn't come out till our birthday next year, November 21, 2025. But I was like, I wonder if they're going to add things in that aren't maybe from the story or are they just going to make things longer? I don't know. I mean, the one thing I'll say I loved is they didn't cut off any of the songs.

They really let them breathe, really let them sing and do it.

But I had Buddy and we went to this theater that's all like. It's called the Starlight Room and it's at the Rose Theater and it's all couches and stuff, so you feel like you're in someone's living room.

And of course, we show up, like 10 minutes before showtime, so we have the big couch in the front, which I was already like, oh, no, Because I was thinking about Buddy, and what if I need to take him out? So we're in the front, and the flying monkeys. He screams so loud. I'm, like, holding him. And then Birdie's like, this is so scary. And I'm like, oh, my gosh. There's no other kids in this theater. Just us. Or, like, we're the only with the kids. And then my kids are screaming that they're scared, but other than that, they loved it. And, you know, Birdie's a big Wicked fan.

So she loved it. But in Aria, Ariana Grande is just crazy talented.

She's incredibly talented. I mean, even though when you see her do all the different things on snl, like, all I ever think now when I hear the song Espresso, all I think is Domingo. I mean, I love it.

So if you're coming out with a movie that's family friendly and then it's iconic on top of it, like, you're gonna crush for sure. And that's why, I mean, even on Netflix, you've been seeing all the Christmas movies trending in the top 10. That's what everyone's doing all week.

And it's their voices that's actually really cute. Cute.

Well, they say it's not. And I was trying to look at the back of the box, but. Oh, so who knows? And I'll never do it again. And then. My poor kids, because I know I'm one of those crazy moms. Well, they're curious, and I'm like, you guys, this is mommy candy. Like, you don't even. You'll think it's disgusting. Tastes like medicine.

Which it kind of does when you think of it, but in, like, a good way.

But this place we had, they had, like, homemade baked goods. The kids were fine. They got, like, cookies, and we got a huge popcorn. And the popcorn, they put it in a real bowl for you.

It's like you're in someone's living room, and you can get like.

And then she's like. And then you'll also be seeing, like, three other previews before. And then she breaks it down and even says, like, people say this will be going up for an Academy Award or an Oscar or whatever. Like, she. And then she has her cute little note cards, and she's like, okay, enjoy the show.

And that is so cute.

Well, what's interesting is when you were gone, something that I kept doing on my solo episodes was asking everyone to journal what you want out of this season. And, like, something that was big for me, that I feel like I've actually been really great at is not to overdo it. I. You know, me, I want to be at every event. I want my kids to go to every single little thing.

I want to ice skate.

I want to go build a snowman. I want to go sledding. I want to go skiing. I want to do. I want to feel like I'm in a snow globe all season long. And I will wear myself out and be so exhausted that before New Year's comes, I'm. I'm over the holidays. And I told myself I don't want that, and it's okay not to do it all. Like, even. Like, last night, they had a big thing for the kids with Polar Express, and a part of me felt bad not to take the kids, but they didn't even talk about it. Instead, we stayed home, we decorated our tree. I had some tea. I. We were in PJs, like, early. Like, it was so relaxing and nice.

But the me last years and years of having kids, I would. Had everyone dressed. We would have went. Even though we had flown in from Washington State, Like, I would have worn myself out. So I told myself, I'm not doing that anymore. I don't need to do it all. And I actually feel even, like Thanksgiving, it was, like, weird not to do it all.

[Nikki Bella]

Yeah.

[Brie Bella]

To do nothing. But it was so nice. And I actually. And now, granted, you can hear I have a stuffy nose. I've been fighting my allergies the last week so bad, so. But what was nice is even though I've been dealing with that, like, I've just been drinking my tea, a bunch of water, and just been taking it easy.

[Nikki Bella]

Yeah.

[Brie Bella]

And it's a great feeling. It almost does make time slow down a bit. And so that's kind of, you know, been my thing going into 2025. And I think for myself, going in 2025 with that kind of mentality will help. You know, just with everything I do in the next coming year, and I feel like when you take your time with things and you have the patience, you make better decisions in your life. I feel like you really prioritize properly, and it'll be better for my kids. It's actually a better example for them because I think sometimes a lot of us, and I see a lot of people, I meet more people nowadays or have more family members who suffer from anxiety, are very anxious all the time, bad sleepers. Like, the list goes on. And I'm like. Because maybe we're all going too fast. We all got to slow down. And you can be 30 years old and slow down. We don't got to slow down at 60. Like, let's slow down younger than that. So that's been my motto. What about you?

[Nikki Bella]

Well, and to your point is why I think it felt so incredible to spend Thanksgiving at home, because I think when you spend the holidays at home, it forces you to slow down and you kind of get to be slow in your home because everything around is closed majority of the time or majority of the shops. So I love that. What this December, I think, too, because I prepped so much Thanksgiving week of like, Christmas shopping's done, Thanksgiving decorations are away, Christmas decor is out. Like, everything as far as what I'd want out of December is done in that way. And now I'm like, okay, I'm actually gonna spend this time to focus on what do I want out of 2025 and how can I prep now instead of in January? So meaning, like, I'm focusing on a lot of, like, self love stuff, or how can I find, you know, the love and like, this new schedule I have of life. Right. Because that's kind of how my life is now. It's a schedule. So how do I find the balance? On days that it's just me, I put in some self care and really focus on that. So then when it's days with Mateo, I'm focusing on the love of my son and mommy, Tay Tay time. And so that's like kind of my goal of December is like, finding this balance, you know, taking in this new schedule, making it magical so that it just feels incredible in 2025. And I know that this is life, but this is amazing. So I feel like I've been, like, writing out a lot of calendars on, like, how things work and looking at things like new classes that might be at 6:30pm that I never thought, you know, I never could do. But now on days I'm. When I'm by myself, I can go do them now or that are at 6:30am so I'm looking at like, all the, like, I've been working on all those different things and I've signed up for a lot of different stuff because I'm like, you always for some reason in December say, okay, so in January. But I'm like, why I'm not going to wait for January. I'm going to do it now because I just want, like you, I want to enjoy this season, but I want to feel good. I don't want to feel sluggish because I'm having too many. Too tired or any of that.

[Brie Bella]

Yeah.

[Nikki Bella]

I'm just. I'm doing. Yeah.

[Brie Bella]

Well, something I feel like I learned from you the last couple months is too, is like that disconnecting is so important. I think to disconnect, it means like, yes, from social media, but even more than that, disconnect from, you know, the hustle and bustle or just the things that don't make you feel good. And even, like, you know, sometimes I realize with myself, like, when people don't know the facts and they have big opinions, it, like, drives me crazy. But I see you. And like, even if people, like, say stuff and they don't even know the facts and they think they do and they got big opinions, I love how you, like, you brush it off and, like, you don't let it bug you or it bugs the. Out of me. Actually, I'll let everyone know right now. It really does. But I'm gonna be better about that.

[Nikki Bella]

There you go. Good. Make that a resolution. You know what? I think that might put that on the list.

[Brie Bella]

So for a lot of you who think, you know, and I'll see your stuff, and I'm always like, oh, my gosh, it's funny when the. The wise come out in comments of the people who think they know things.

Yeah.

[Brie Bella]

And there's been about, you know, it's fine. There's been people. All right. Smarten them up.

[Nikki Bella]

No.

[Brie Bella]

Yeah.

So that's going to be a big thing for me to go into 20, 25.

Well, when you get there, the one thing is me now being there, like, all I can tell you is it's the greatest freedom you'll ever feel. And that's truly what it is. It's freedom. And when you're in that place of, like, whatever, they don't know. I don't care.

[Brie Bella]

Yeah.

They're gonna think what they want when.

[Brie Bella]

It'S a freedom I used to have.

But did you?

No. I did.

Until of late. And then, you know what it is. Is. It's. You know how they always tell you, don't assume. Because if you assume, you always make an ass out of you and me. You know, I always remember that. That's how I always remembered how to spell assume. I'm like, ass. You. Me, don't assume.

Yeah.

[Brie Bella]

Do you know what I mean?

Totally.

And so it's like. And I guess I never cared until now. And then that stuff can get on my nerves unlike anything else.

No, I get it. But freedom.

Freedom. So I'm not gonna have the hate ball for New Year's.

That's good. Don't have the hate ball for New Year's. Well, it's funny talking about all this stuff I have.

Okay. Because you know, it is the first week of December. So we get to have just this incredible beautiful month. We're in winter, it's the holidays, it's joyful, it's merry. I love how we talked about, you know, setting some intentions for this month. Like when we're in January, what did we, you know, want from this month and what did we get? But so let's see here. I feel like it was screenshot here. So there's two things. One, because you just kind of, kind of everything you were talking about, I loved this quote because I, it's so true what December brings, but it's what the holidays should be about and how you had your. Thanks Thanksgiving. December has the clarity, the simplicity and the silence you need for the best fresh start of your life.

And it's so true because you know how you were saying, like, is this why, like so many of us have anxiety and all these different things? It's because we're in the chaos and.

Yeah. We do just so many different things. But December, I think that's what winter kind of forces us to do. But I love, especially when it says like, the simplicity and the silence and even how December brings that clarity to start fresh. You know, here comes January now we have a whole new year. So I really liked that when I saw that one this morning and then everything you said, I was, I kept thinking like, oh, that quote's so perfect. This is what we all crave and yearn for, why we're supposed to hibernate and just be still, be present. And then the other One I loved because December is just so magical. It's filled with so much magic.

In December, as in no other month in the year, we are brought the closest to the great fact that all of life is a miracle. And it is, isn't it?

Yes, he better. And he's my favorite guy this time of year because I threaten my kids all the time. Santa's watching, and you don't want to.

I mean, buddy, so many times, like, I'm gonna be on the naughty list, and I'm like, yes. So please stop fighting with Birdie, right?

Well, it was cute because Mato, I just. I haven't had the talk with him about naughty or nice. And so I just asked him, like, hey, Mat, are you on the naughty or nice list? But I guess I've never really, especially with the word naughty, ever taught him that. So he goes, naughty. And I go, oh, well, no, you're not naughty. I go, naughty is this, and nice is this. And then he was like, oh, no, no. Then I'm on the nice list when I was like, you know, for Santa, but it was, like, really cute. And now everything is about, like, Santa, which. It's the cutest thing. It's my. My kid first year of having that.

Yeah.

And I love it. You just. The magic in their eyes for sure.

And then now with the self on the shelf brings a whole different.

I know. I think I'll do that next year. I'm not.
