Right. So, yeah, so we're gonna. But we. At least we get to talk about some things. Like, especially, you know, we could start. You and I made a lot of headlines just off the Love it, Love it seven minute sneak peek. That was really fun.

I thought it was so fun. I love, like, I'm always like, most people go on reality tv, like, watching what they say, you know, they're very conscious. But I, like, do the opposite.

Yeah. Which I love.

Like, I probably need to Reel it in a little bit. But it's like we're making TV here. I got one chance. But I. It's like Sc scary that they're getting the gossipy moments because we were in like a corner alone, just talking, which I feel like people will see a lot of, but also like iconic. I feel like setting the tone totally right.

I mean, good for us that we didn't want to say hi to Tom Sandoval. I don't feel bad. And I just remember when we were, you know, we all of us get to Scotland early and we're doing a lot of stuff before meeting each other. So you're filming things before knowing who's on cast. So they ask you questions, who do you want to see, who you don't want to see? And you don't know anyone there yet. So, yeah, I say Tom Sandoval. And I do remember how some people moved in the room. In my head, I'm like, they kind of moved. Weird. Don't tell me he's here. But I'm like, there's no way he'd be here.

Oh, wow.

And I felt like, so Gabby and I were in the same van. So then you're in vans and you get to meet three people before entering the castle. So Gabby was one of them and we connected. And yeah, I. That was one reason I felt like we connected so much is we just, we have no filters and we say whatever, especially you're the best. And you have great one liners. Like, I'm. Bri is like, you no filter. Nikki is always coming out. I'm like, no. Gabby's like, step above me. It's so good.

Right. And also we're here for a competition. Like, this is kind of how it is. But yeah. So, okay, what were your thoughts when. Because, you know, at least we could talk about this because as of now, everything that's out. So it's the seven minute sneak peek. What were your thoughts, you know, with everyone coming out of the van and everyone that you saw.

I'm still. Still, like, Which. You believe in astrology, right? Yes. Me bringing up astrology, first five seconds.

I love it.

Yeah. But I think just like, I'm a Capricorn, and I feel like we kind of sit back and just, like, watch. With any reality TV I've been on, I try and not get too involved. I don't want to form too many opinions because I don't want somebody else projecting on me, like, what terrible time they had and, like, what to do. It's like, okay, I have to do things my own way. And I was probably, like, overwhelmed. I'm like, what the fuck are we doing? Like, a murder mystery? Like, when they first asked me to do Traders, I was like, absolutely not. Like, no way.

So you didn't watch before?

Gabby Wendy
I did watch before, only when I said yes, which was, like, a couple months before we started filming. So I'm like, okay, I got a binge. But to be honest, I was probably so high when I was watching it that I just, like, didn't remember anything. Which now I'm like, rewatching series that I was like, wow, this hits different, like, when you're sober.

Yeah. Right.

So I was just trying to get through it, just to get, like, a feel for it, you know? It didn't help me out any, because when they were asking, like, who do you not want to see? I'm like, I don't know. Like, I don't know until I know.

Right? Yeah.

It's like, I'll come to that information probably, like, I don't know, a weekend. And then I'm like, yeah, I wish I never met you.

Yeah. Oh, my God. That's actually a great answer.

Yeah. But I think I was just. I didn't really. I. I was so grateful we had, like, my. Actually, my dad knows you. He remembers you because we rode an elevator together on Dancing with the Star.

We. Because you were staying at the AKA he's like, who's Nikki again? I'm like, we rode the elevator with her. He, like, always references you. I know. It's so cute. So it was nice just to have, like, you as a friend. And then knowing you were, like, so down. Like, I felt safe.

Yeah.

But everybody. I'm like, who are all these, like, survivor people?

I'm. I was with you in. In the boat. I didn't. In that same boat where I didn't know gamers. So when everyone was freaking out over Big Rob, I felt I. Or wait, I mean Boston, I mean Boston Rum. Big Rob, I was like thinking like, that's his. I don't know.

Anyway, no, he is like, he's basically.

He's like, yeah, like big time. Like in that world. Like everyone freaked out when they saw him and it was Bob the Drag Queen. I go, oh, who is that? And he just started laughing so hard and I was like, oh, shoot, like, great. I'm supposed to like, I don't know. But I was the same with like all the gamers and then. Shit, I wish I did my homework actually on the gamers because those are the ones you have to like look out for, right?

Yeah, it was like, I feel like for us coming from our reality tv, we don't even know what the other sector is like of like real whatever gaming challenges, survivors. So I feel like we got a crash course. I'm like, this is not what I signed up for. I'm showing up in a full beat, my hair's done in TV beast in a sick outfit that a stylist planned. And you want me to like do these crazy challenges and like think like a survivor person. Like, this is crazy. But they were great and it was fun.

Well, I think that's what makes the traders so entertaining, is you do mix up the gamers. And then I feel like this group is in their own world. The housewives and then reality stars.

Yeah.

And we're all in it together and it's like, that's what makes it entertaining because us reality stars and housewives are in our own world and you have the gamers that are just totally messing with us.

Yeah.

They're like so strategic. I'm like, I couldn't be strategic if I tried. Like, I just, it's just, I like take things as they come. I cannot be one step ahead. But you learn fast. The mental gymnastics gets to you. And now I'm like Olympian level. I'm like back tucking for real.

It's. I can't wait till I get to bring you back on.

Yes.

And we get a really, like just go in on true thoughts, feelings, things that happen and then that we get to watch. And like, if people say stuff about us, because I know people have said stuff about us, but I can't wait till we really get to go into that because I, I really want to get into the gaming side of it and that mental side of.

Yeah.

What I caught on to. And so.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, that'll be fun. Yes. Because I also feel like, I wish. You know how Love island, they do, like, five episodes a week. You get to know them so much, and it's like, they probably don't have the budget for that, but next year.

Yeah.

I was screaming, like, obviously, their budget got better this year because they were, like, giving us some clothes, and their lighting seems way better. I was screaming about the lighting from the beginning. I'm like, what the. And then seeing, like, the previews, I'm like, oh, my God. Like, their budget actually did give anyways.

Yeah.

But I wish they could air it with the audience not knowing who the traitors are, because from watching the first couple seasons, which grant. I was impaired. I admitted it. But you don't really grasp, like, how confused everybody is. You're, like, watching it back. I'm like, this is so easy. Like, I know exactly what's going on. But, yeah, I feel like if they could do more episodes and do it from a different point of view, the audience would see it a little bit different.

Totally. Because I was a big fan of the show. I love it. So when I got the offer, I was like, yeah, I want to, like, try this. See? Can I do this?

Yeah.

And then my eyes. Because you're right, as a viewer, I had a different expectation going in, and it was way different. But now I get why I've always loved watching it is like, whoa. No one's produced. They just let you go.

Yeah.

Obviously we have moments of stopping and all that, but, like, I. I was like, oh, my gosh. It is totally different when the. What anyone's thinks.

Oh, yeah. Different than anything I've ever done. I mean, like, on Bachelor, everybody knows the producers are heavily involved. They're kind of like your go to also for, like, similar gameplay manipulation, gaslighting that goes into a dating show. You, like, work it out with your producer, but they're not there. I mean, they could. They couldn't even, like, tell us anything. They were basically. I'm. I think, you know, whoever their supes are, they were terrified because they couldn't tell us any. Like, even something unrelated to the show. They're like, we can't talk about it.

Yeah.

I'm like, oh, my God, I don't even know you.

Yeah, right.

Yeah. But I know it was. I was surprised at how much they always say, like, the game plays itself.

Yeah.

Nicole, after the London trip that Brian and I took the kids to. We said every year we need to come up with a really fun trip. Where? I don't know, like, a place we get to travel to. And it doesn't always have to be the mountains. London was a really neat experience. We're like, why don't we pick another country? Or we can pick somewhere here in the United States. The kids really haven't been to the east coast, but we were like, let's find one spot and get an Airbnb like we did in London, because it's nice. It's like, it feels like home away from home. And so he and I are starting to look. So you're gonna have to help us, because 2025, it's like one of those things. I feel like with kids, you have to plan a trip six months out, always has to be around school. But I feel like, you know, I always think of New York when I think of the East Coast, But I think there might be some really other neat places, like Vermont. But to find, like, a really fun Airbnb for family just might be the thing for 2025 for the Danielsons.

I agree. I mean, it's definitely the way to travel. And what makes it even better is while you're living it up in someone else's home, you can actually host on Airbnb while you're away. So why don't you try putting your house on Airbnb, making some money while you're out there spending some money?

You know, I tell Brian this all the time. I feel like we kill it on Airbnb.

I mean. Oh, I never know what's gonna come out of my own mouth even saying here right now. So I'm like. And I. And you do get caught up in the moment. So I'm. I'm afraid about a couple things just kind of just like, talking, but I feel like people know me. It doesn't mean anything. No, but I. Yeah, I don't. People who don't know me from the Bachelor, like on the Bachelor, which I've talked about. So I was raked over the coals for my voice. They're like, why does she talk like that? I'm like, I don't know if I had A TBI when I was younger. I don't know.

I think especially because I felt what it's like to disconnect and, like, have that kind of world be away from you and, like, how much healthier and happy you are that it's like, I don't even need it. And my therapist I had. She's my life coach, too, and I've had her on the show, and she said something it was, like, a few weeks ago that really stuck so hard with me, and it was like, more people need your message than the trolls on the Internet. Like, you have such a further reach. And I'm like, it's so true. We get so hooked on those few comments.

We're gonna hear it. I mean, especially. I feel like people get very judgy when it comes to game players, like, when they watch these competition shows, whether it's Bachelorette, Love island, the Traitors. So I know there's gonna be a lot of dragging and a lot of, you know, negative. Like, why do they do this? They didn't play. They weren't there. They didn't do. They didn't have to do all the hours we had to do. So I'm like, I'm just not gonna read it because they don't get it.

Yeah. No. That's how I am. I even. Which I maybe. Which I'm not even, like, really afraid, but it's like, anybody who knows me knows I'm a raging feminist. I'm a lesbian. Righteous as. So it's like, anybody that knows me knows that, but. Because I saw somebody posted a story yesterday. She's like, a Survivor fan, and she's like, if you thought so. So, like, didn't like men, Wait till you meet Gabby from the Bachelor. And I'm like, whatever. It's in. Nikki Glaser at the Golden Globes just, like, roasted all of the men. Like, it's 20, 25 people.

You do. And you know what? Like, what's made you, though, stand out so, like, from being a bachelorette, then going to dance, you in the stars. It's not every bachelorette gets asked. Not every bachelor. But you're standout because you're just who you are. And now you have. Yeah. You're welcome. A podcast. And then you're asked on the Traders. Not everyone's asked on the Traders. And I know so many people are like, I want to do it. I wish all the things, but because you stay true to yourself whether people like it or not. And I. I'm the same way. It's like, you stand out. You don't want to change that.

No. Yeah. And Robbie's so good about it. I mean, she's been kind of in the industry for like 10 years doing stand up. And people have, like, so many judgments about anyone who's like, public facing, but especially if you're making jokes that you don't like, she's like, just fuck them. And I'm like, yeah, totally. So she's a good, like, cheerleader to have.

Yes. And do you feel like it's gonna be different? And I don't even know how, like, how do I word this? But. Because you haven't been on TV since, like, coming out and, you know, being a lesbian. And my thing is, is why it feels, I think a bigger deal with you than anyone is because you were a bachelorette. Right. And do you feel like there's gonna be anything with that? Because no one's seen you since, which. It's so funny because then people. I love when they go, oh, the same person. Yeah. No. What do you think? I mean, was she, like, growing wings? Like, what? You know what I mean, right?

Yeah. My DNA completely changed.

Yeah. I think, if anything, I feel like since I've been dating Robbie and kind of like whatever, explored my sexuality, I feel like I'm just like, more confident.

Because I'M it already allows you to be different, and you have to own it. And it's been, like, such a great experience for me, so. Feel like now, this season, more than ever, I'm really leaning into, like, femininity and, like, like, the strength of a woman. I feel like that's, like, a huge I theme.

I think for this season, because we had really strong women and lots of gays, which is nice. So I feel like, yeah, they'll see a different side of me, but I feel like it's going to be more empowered.

Whatever you're talking about is really geared towards, like. Like the relationships that you're trying to foster. Like people on my TikTok because I'm so unhinged and deranged, which I love. They're like, where was this personality on the Bachelor? I'm like, there's just really no room for that. Like, I've always been the same person, but I think Traders gives you a little more, like, room to kind of be yourself and see you in a different light. And like, the confrontation aspect of it, it's like, scary as. But it's also like, it doesn't. I'm like, it doesn't have to be personal. I took everything so personal.

And so I feel like it's kind of like nothing matters. And you could take it more as, like, a cynical way, which I think is, like, liberating in that nobody really gives a about you. They only give, like, a about themselves. So, like, once you stop caring about what other people think, like, even on a smaller level, I do think it's really freeing, but also in, like, a Buddhist way. Like, however, they. They also say that they do.

And, like, how I would take it, like, nothing matter is, like, when I think of thing, like, when things feel really tough, and when I think now, I think we believe. I think we believe differently here, but I'm not sure. And when I think of eternity and, like, where I really Want to be. And when I truly go home, back to God, nothing matters here. Yeah, I can't take anything with me. All I can take is my karma. And how did I treat others? How did. Did I treat God's children? How did I change? Like, what did I learn in this life? What was the wisdom? And how did I leave it better than when I came? And so for me, that's where I take that is nothing here matters. When I. When things have gotten dramatic or even messy in my life, especially as late. I always will remind, actually, I say that none of this matters. So why, like, Nicole, why are you going to give yourself a heart attack over something right when Think of eternity, think of wwjd. Like, that's right.

I recently had somebody close to me pass.
