B
And we all love gifts.
A
We all love. I mean, more than gifts. We all love surprises.
B
Okay, major surprises. Now let's just, like, give me a coup. Hints.
A
No.
B
Really?
A
Yeah. No, sir. No hints.
B
Mind, body or soul, actually, for you all. Oh, so you're, like, wanting to help help me out in some way with my health, which is what we'll be talking about in this episode, or what is it?
A
Yeah. Well, that's all I'm going to give away. So when you all tune in Thursday, you'll find out. But, hey, Bri, we had a major announcement last week.
B
We did, girlfriend.
A
And Bri and I have been so excited. So, as you all know, we've been talking a lot about health and our journeys and just detoxes or longevity of health and like, just all the different things. And it's because we've actually been doing it with Hone Health. We just haven't been able to tell you all till last week who we've been doing this incredible health journey with. So Bri and I have officially partnered up with Hone Health, which we are so excited about.
B
Oh, my gosh, we're so excited. You know, I feel like, you know, it shouldn't really hit you at an age of when you start to care about your health, but it is interesting. When we stepped into our 40s, our bodies changed so much, right? There was things that were going on at least with my body, and I know you felt the same that I just couldn't put my finger on. And I'm like, I know I'm a healthy person, but why do I feel this bad in this area of my life? Why am I noticing that I work out so hard but I can't get get toned or, you know, I can't lose the weight? There was, like, certain things that were really bothering me. But, you know, what I love about this journey is you can be any age because your health matters at every era of your life. But you and I really have just done the deep dive now, being in our 40s, right?
A
Well, you know, for Brie and I, when we started this a few years ago, it was because we were turning 40. And what I love what's going on now is we are bringing more awareness to not only longevity of health, but also to hormones, to different things, especially for the female body that you may go through, starting at 35, by the way, it. It is crazy the changes for a woman's body that starts in mid-30s. And so much of the time, I feel like, because 40 is been known as the midlife, but it's more of what you do. And though they're going through it and then we start to think of longevity in a way. But I was talk to my neighbor about this with Vicki, and just saying how, like, even as she got older, she was like, I was the type, like, I'm not going to be afraid to take things to help my hormones. But it was crazy how you couldn't talk about it. And she's like, I'm loving now that people are bringing more awareness because we do need help in those ways. We need help to, you know, make our hormones.
B
Why can't I think of the word more balanced?
A
Yeah. How we need more help to balance our hormones for sure. And there's other things we go through. And you know, yesterday when I was on Instagram, Dolores, who I did the traders with, who I absolutely love, she just did a podcast talking about this whole thing. And especially because of menopause and pre menopause and all of those things. I agree.
B
I mean, I think more than ever, I talk to women and hormones is the biggest conversation I have because I. I don't know about, you know, a lot of our listeners, but for me, my period has changed tremendously in the last two years and really a lot. After breastfeeding, buddy, I didn't bounce back the way I did with Birdie. And. And I don't mean body wise. I mean more with my hormones. My periods got really bad, my PMS really bad. I mean, I was just talking with my facialist actually yesterday, and she is like, I need to get my hormones checked because honestly, every month I feel like a different person.
A
Yes.
B
And things bug me that never bugged me before, but I. I feel different. And we're talking about our hormones, and I'm like, it's so crazy because I feel like when you're really busy or you're a mom that's really busy, we. We tend to just ignore, like, when things change. Sometimes we just want to power through it. And we're like, you know what? It's a struggle, but it's this one week of a struggle, but it shouldn't be like that. And that's when I finally was like, you know what, Bri? You don't have to feel. You don't. It doesn't have to feel like. Just push through, sis. I actually don't have to push through. I need to change what's going on to actually feel good.
A
So that was my neighbor's big thing, was, why am I going to sit here and let people think I'm being crazy? Or I'm thinking to myself, am I being crazy? And then I'm not feeling good when there are things that are out there to help me, to help the imbalances that happen through mother Nature or like you said, through pregnancies. So this is also a big thing. You don't even have to be in your mid-30s. Let's just talk about Even pregnancy and how much that changes the woman's body and hormones. And I remember those feelings after having Mateo of like, like, am I crazy? Is it this? Is it that? Like, you feel so many different things, and it's like, no, my body just birthed a human being and there are all these imbalances. And I feel like we're never allowed to talk about it because it's like, if you talk about it, then it's like, oh, she. She's has depression. She has this. And it's like, no, my body's just going through something, and it would be nice if I could be heard and have help. And so it's crazy because I was like, I'm so Happy now at 41 that I'm a part of an incredible company like Hone Health that can help me with this. But I'm also aware of it, but that we have such a great platform that we could help people now before they feel like, why have I been suffering for so long? There's no reason to suffer, you guys. No reason. Get your blood drawn, figure out the imbalances. And there is stuff that actually help our body get back to normal for sure.
B
And, you know, it's not even for women because even Brian, like, where he's at, he's 43, about to be 44 in May, and there's a lot of things that's changed with him and the way he's felt and especially being an active pro wrestler to all of a sudden, not your body starts to recover. But if you're not getting the proper sleep and doing the proper things, the recovery is going to take a really long time in the healing.
A
Right?
B
So you. You need help. And so Brian, you know, he's done all his blood tests and all his testing and was crazy. The stuff that's come back with him. I mean, you know, what I love.
A
About it is when you find that and O'Brien's the same and you were the same with your testing and me is you start to go, okay, I wasn't crazy. I. I filmed this. What here is actually facts and answers to what I've been feeling.
B
Right. Well, and so what I love with HONE Health is we did our blood testing and I got to figure a lot out with my hormones. I definitely figured out different things that were going on with me that, you know, oh, yeah, that a vitamin can cure. And, you know, they. They give you a list of things that will help.
A
Well, the vitamin D deficiency, like how that can make you feel, and you're like, oh, and you're right. Maybe during this time I need to up it or.
B
Right. You know, and then, you know, we talked about this last. Actually, I think it was two episodes ago. And then we did the brain scans. Now, we did that with someone else because our cousin recommended someone. And the brain scans, it was so interesting then to see, you know, with our brain scans, what came back. And you realize, like, your brain is like the center of your body that controls everything. Brain again, if that's not on point. And I told everyone, you know, two episodes ago, I was like, I couldn't believe how many toxins were in my brain that I'm now detoxing out.
A
Yeah.
B
And listen, it sucks because some of us, we live month to month with our paychecks, and we're like, how do I afford this? What we love about Hone Health is the first company to come out that is allowing you to check your body, check everything you need at a very reasonable price.
A
Very reasonable.
B
And. And I love that. And when we spoke to the owner of Hone Health, it's exactly why Nikki and I signed up with them, because that was the first thing that came out of his mouth.
A
Yeah.
B
It shouldn't only be for the rich. This needs to be for everyone. To everyone, whatever class you're in. And literally right there, I remember being on the zoom, I go, this is why I love this company. It's why I love the owner. But what I will say is I think about how we spend our money. And Brian, I always talk about it, and he and I are like, we don't need a fancy car. Our health is more important than a car. We have a designer bag.
A
Well, and not even though that when I did the cost, like, for home health, when I said no, I just didn't need to go to a few dinners.
B
Yeah, right.
A
I just don't. Cook your own food, make it about your health. Just don't do a few dinners going out or doordashes and, oh, guess what that covers. You're getting your blood drawn and signing up for home health and then what I may need after that. Right. And that's like, where you just got to look into things because, you know, maybe don't feel like you have to get people gifts. Just say, hey, I really want to focus on my health. I'm writing you this gorgeous, amazing card. Maybe even handcraft it. But just, you know, put your money into yourself and maybe your family.
B
You guys, we all tell each other and we've done this Christmases, our family, we're like, no one spend money on each other. Let's all like either do a memory together, so all a dinner together or let's all, let's all do, you know.
A
Let'S all go get our blood drawn. Like have someone come to the house. Everyone gets their blood drawn.
B
The gift of health is one of the greatest things you could give yourself or anybody.
A
Well, and, you know, it really is, Bri. And one of the biggest things I felt like both you and I were craving was every day I was just like getting through it, the energy. And I was like, I'm not even 40 yet. This is, you know, when I first felt that. And I was like, I can't feel this way the rest of my life. Just getting through the day, waking up tired, dragging myself. 3:00 feels like midnight. And that was my biggest thing. And what was I telling you this morning? I go, okay, I don't want to get too excited about it, but I've now noticed my energy shifting. I mean, I've been on this journey for a bit now, and this past few days I'm like, oh my gosh, it's working my energy. But I told her I don't want to like, jinx it. And, and we just came back from traveling the first two days, you know, adjusting, but I'm like, oh my gosh, I think it's finally kicked in. Like, it's, the process now is working right.
B
And you know, it's crazy because I'm now starting it, so I'll probably be a little sluggish off my game.
A
You will be getting, you know, that.
B
First week and then I'll start to notice the difference. But I'm excited and you know, I, I, I truly feel like that in today's world, we not only I, I believe in all the radiation and the emf, so all your, the phones, the Internet, everything that surrounds us. But I do think environmentally, like, we don't realize the air we breathe in. We don't realize all the toxins that surround us. So, like, as this, like, human body, every day is a fight for some type of health, right? And I do think it's important to get, get that in check. And also I would. We always talk about journaling on this show, but start to write down just like when you're going through your day, you're like, why do I feel like this at 3pm or why do I always wake up at 1pm or 1am or like, whatever, you start to feel bad, start to write it. So then when you and with foods. Yeah. So when you talk to someone like a doctor, you know, some type of physic, you can really hone in on what it is that you're going through. And doctors like, the more detail you give them, they're gonna literally be able to pinpoint what's really going on with you. There are so many clothing brands out there that the ones who have a purpose really stand out.
A
To me, they do. And that's why True Religion stands out, because they believe in having a purpose. They really believe you should own your true.
B
Yes. I love that they really put in that live in confidence, unfiltered and unapologetic way through their clothing.
A
Yes. I mean, from the beginning, True Religion set their own path by revolutionizing denim.
B
They're known for their iconic, exaggerated stitch, creating genes that are instantly recognizable and making those who wear them impossible to ignore.

Learn more@xfinity.com. that's xfinity.com. well, you know what I saw on Tick Tock?
B
Oh, no.
A
And I've already, like, okay. I don't know if you guys have all heard about NADS plus, right? And so hone has. Has it. And I really want to start it because I've heard, like, it's amazing for your skin anti aging. But then. And a gynecologist was a part of this.
B
But when you sent me that, it was an ad, and I felt like the gyno was in on it. Like, I don't know, but it was.
A
But for NAD plus. So it was just their pill form. But so let's. I don't know if this is real or not. And I'm gonna definitely ask our home doctor who we have. But she was like, yeah, the gyno was down there and kept being like, whoa. Interesting. Interesting. So the woman after had to be like, why did you keep saying interesting? She goes, I just couldn't believe how young and tight your vagina looked for your age. And after having kids and. And they. She claims that it's NADS plus. And I was like, oh, really? Okay. So I mean, if you get the anti aging on your face and then you get it down there, that's amazing. Yeah. I guess for me now I'm like, okay, please get me on it.
B
Yeah, that'd be great.
A
I had a vaginal birth, so, you.
B
Know, But I also feel like I don't mind what my vagina looks like. Like, I don't need my vagina, I guess, to look young.
A
Well, you're married, so good for you. But also, like, I care now. What? I mean, I've always cared.
B
I've seen your vagina. We actually have identical.
A
Okay, thanks.
B
And I don't think your vagina looks old or weird.
A
Well, I know it doesn't look old or weird. Thank you.
B
And I also feel like, you know, if you're like, let's say with a man, they're not like Inspector Jag. What is it?
A
What's his name? Gadget.
B
Gadget. They're not Inspector Gadget on your vagina. Like, they don't have a. Yeah, but.
A
She said tighter glass. All right.
B
The one thing I will say, I noticed, and I actually bought these things, and I'm going to ask the doctor if they're okay to take. Cuz I'll admit, like, I can be. I know this tmi, but let's. We're doing this. I can be completely turned on but not complete. Like my vagina is not expressing the same.
A
Yeah.
B
The same feelings I have inside and.
A
And you know, like menopause girl.
B
So my dryness has been a little shocking to me, which at certain positions and sex, by the way, isn't it.
A
Weird when that happens when you are so turned on, you're tingling down there and then I'm like, where's, where's the.
B
Water sometimes where's the juice of how you describe things? Can.
A
Okay, sorry. But I have to say I've been doing probiotic gummies for the vagina and I feel like it's helped me a lot. But. But keep going.
B
But yeah, so. But I did re I research because I wanted to find something really healthy and I found these ones. So I'm gonna see you actually insert and they help. Like, so when you're gonna have sex, you wait.
A
It's like a vagina gummy. A vagina vitamin.
B
Oh, wait, yeah.
A
You mean it's like lube? Is that what you're saying?
B
But it's different and it's like natural. But I'm gonna ask the doctor before I do it to see because there's some.
A
Do you know that when you start to do all these, when they start to balance out your hormones, you're supposed to get.
B
Be wet down there again, Which I am. But then there's sometimes in some positions that kind of hurt and I think, oh, that sucks.
A
Yeah. Well, you need lube.
B
Well, no, you're there. I think it's.
A
You need the lube. Just kidding.
B
Yeah.
A
No, she's like, I hate her. But I. That's interesting what you put up there.
B
No, I know. I'm gonna try it and see.
A
Well, let us.
B
I'm not going to say the brand or anything of it yet until I, I make sure like by a doctor and everything that it's like good.
A
So you get turned on and you go.
B
You, you're not.
A
Wait one second and then you go into the bathroom and no. So like, oh, it's a daily.
B
No.
A
Oh.
B
So you do it like you put it, insert it. Like if you're thinking you're gonna have sex that night, do it like I think an hour or so before laying on your back. You insert it and then it kind of dissolves and does its magic. Now you're probably thinking to yourself like, well then you're planning sex? Well, I plan sex and marriage, unfortunately. I mean, we have a couple spontaneous moments, but it's very rare. Yeah, we're very, like, planned out.
A
Okay, so how about for us single women who are, I guess, do it before.
B
I don't know, before we go to the bar.
A
Dang. Does it last that long? I mean, who knows when he.
B
When.
A
See, this is what's been hard on me, though. Like, I am. Like, I've always been very sexually confident and all of those things. But I'm not gonna lie. Being single now in my 40s as a mom scares the out of me as far as sex. Like, it's really weird. One, I can't imagine myself having sex with someone yet, so I guess maybe I'm just not there yet still. You know, heart healing and all that. But I. I also am like, oh, my gosh. But like you said, will I get wet? Will my body look fine? My. My. Like, wait, meanie. But that's me because I've had a baby. Like, you know when you're married to someone and you go, well, thank you. But you go through birth with someone, like, they appreciate the things that are a little, you know, the belly button stretched out a little bit. They appreciate those little things. But wait, so it's harder. You're not single, in your 40s, so you can't talk. It's very scary to think, like, especially because what if you're going to have sex with someone who's never been married or someone who's never been with someone who's had a kid?
B
Scary. Yes. But you have to, I feel, train your thought process to be different. Any man that will judge you based on that or you feel gives a weird look is not worth your energy.
A
Oh, yeah, no, for sure. I agree. You should.
B
Don't even stress about it because the.
A
Robbery, always easier said than done.
B
But what I'm saying is you should tell yourself that.
A
Right?
B
You know, like, I'm.
A
And I do tell myself that. And I think it's just not being ready. But it's also like, oh, wait just one second. I'm gonna go squeeze some lube at my vajayjay. I'll be right back.
B
I don't know.
A
I feel like, by the way, I don't have that issue. But I swear, Bri, it's vaginal probiotics I've been taking.
B
Yeah, but.
A
But I also, though, have. Because during masturbation, there are times where I do feel turned on, and I'm like, whoa, I'm Dry as a desert. So I do understand that.
B
Yeah. And I also think like people.
A
By the way, I have to say vibrators, because, you know, our friend got us one for Christmas when we did the white elephant gift. I'm just not a vibrator person.
B
I was.
A
Makes your vagina numb.
B
I'm, like, a little too rough.
A
It's. Well, not even rough. It's just the vibration. After a while, I'm like, she's numb.
B
Like, maybe bring down the.
A
No, I do the lowest setting, and I'm like, I want just hands. Like, this is. And then I feel like it doesn't help you out then. If you're gonna go be with someone, how do you get off if you're used to a vibrator with vibration and getting numb?
B
They're for some people, and they're not for some people.
A
And then I'm like, there's no way those are made to go in you. Are bullets really made to go inside you?
B
I'm the wrong girl to ask. Yeah, you're gonna have to ask someone else that.
A
You know, I've been wanting to get on here. Do you know Dr. Emily? Do you ever look at it?
B
I think I follow her.
A
Yeah, me too. We need to get her on because I have a lot of questions for her. Yeah, I mean, I know she has her book. I have her book. I need to read it.
B
Yeah. I mean, it's interesting because I follow people and I never see their content.
A
I know she's one that I don't ever.
B
I don't ever see because it's weird.
A
Everything's wrestling for me.
B
I feel like, yeah, no, I get the most random stuff.
A
Actually, I do, too. And then what it is is on your feed too. If there's someone you follow who follows someone or they liked something, something we.
B
Think you're interested in, it's like, well, why don't you just put on my feed what I'm already interested in and following?
A
Right.
B

Learn more@xfinity.com that's xfinity.com you know everything right now. What's been going viral as of late are morning routines. I don't know. Have you seen this Tick Tocker that's gone viral. He's been. He posts a lot of his morning routines. He's gained an incredible following on Instagram and Tick Tock. He wakes up at 3:45am he does these face dunks throughout his day, but I had to because I saw some people posting it and I'm like, oh, I started to see it repetitive. So I'm like, oh, this must be a viral thing. So then I saw this guy's Instagram or TikTok I can't remember which one, but I was like, oh my gosh. Like what he does and he writes the time, like 3:45, wake up. And he does the mouth tape thing. And then like from this time and this time 10 minutes, I write my journal. Then I scroll on Instagram 30 minutes, then do like, you have to see the breakdowns. So now everyone's obsessed with showing their morning routines.
B
Yeah, I did. Well, you sent me Logan Paul's, which was hilarious.
A
Yeah, he was like doing it off that guys.
B
Yeah.
A
Yeah.
B
I mean, I, I guess I'm one of those people who thinks whatever works for you, works for you.
A
Yeah.
B
Me to wake up at 3:45am does absolutely nothing. Right.
A
Well, I was like, is that good for your body?
B
I mean, what time does he go to bed? He has to go to bed early.
A
Has to.
B
Because you can't go to bed at 10:00pm, wake up at 3:45. Right. So I think sleep by seven must be. And some people, their bodies heal. Like if they get that three to four hours of deep sleep and then they're going into the rem, it might be all they need. I don't know. Now I, I do see the addiction to dunking your face in ice cold water because it's really refreshing.
A
Oh.
B
And it can change your mood. I mean, there's a lot of pluses to it now. Every day to dunk it like 10 times a day seems a lot. But I mean, he clearly, it's clearly working for him.
A
Clearly. I mean, the guy's body is beautiful.
B
Yeah. Well. And this is the thing. Is he a dad?
A
He looks like he lives alone, if I was to guess.
B
And I. This is my thing, how much I love seeing his morning routine and what works for him. His life and my life are nowhere near the same.
A
100.
B
Now if I see a moment who has a, who's working and I see her dunking her face ten times a day and waking up a certain time, I might like, look and be like, is that possible for me? Because my morning routine is clearly based on my children.
A
Right.
B
And it is based. If Buddy has come in through the night, it is based. Did I sleep through the night? Like, I definitely believe we have to go with what, what we're going through. So if you're going through a week where your kids are waking you up through the night and you're not getting proper sleep, well to, you know, to kind of set. Not have an alarm and your kids be your alarm so you can do your morning routine to me works.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, I can't sit there and have a 5am alarm if, like Buddy came in at 3 and I couldn't get back to sleep till 5.
A
Right.
B
You know what I mean?
A
I agree.
B
So that's how. Which is the beauty of social media because there's so many different people doing different things. I mean, I don't know about you, but sometimes I get a little overwhelmed by all the different biohacks and all the different health hacks and all the different.
A
You got. Like you said, you gotta do what's right for you.
B
Yeah.
A
Like, you know what I did last night? So Mateo is always asleep no later than eight. And I've now what I've got myself into, the routine of which has been recent, is in his bed. I already have my sauna blanket. All I plug it in before and then next to it I have my iPad and my infrared mask and then a few oils. And now I got a new. It's like my own endomology suction thing. So I go in, I. After he's asleep and I always, of course, still have my monitor because that's how I am. I put on the sweat, you know, get in. I get in the sauna. And it's perfect because the mask, when it goes off, is the per amount of time you're supposed to be in the blanket. So I get in, I do that first and you can't even look at anything. And then I get out of it. I take a quick shower and cold. And then I watch a show. And I just. I've been doing the suction stuff on my thighs and my stomach.
B
I just imagine someone from the early 1900s to get a look at like what a person does when they put their children down, unless it would be so bonkers for them. But I have to ask you this. Do you at times feel because like so many things are coming at us like, this works, this works, this works, that we almost stress ourselves out for all the different things that could help us and do help us, that we feel like we like have to do them or we're missing out or we're not helping ourselves.
A
So where I'm at now is I've tried a lot of things. So m. School. Sorry. You only work in the moment. You're still. It's a waste of money. It. It doesn't last. And what I've realized is, even with when I would pay a lot of money for endermology or anything like that, I think it benefits more after people have surgeries because of scar tissue, but to keep up with it consistently for toning. Not worth your money. So when I saw this little device that wasn't even that expensive, I go okay, that's worth my money. Because I could do that at home every night. And it's also like a massager. So that feels great for me. But I love the sauna. Like I realize sauna blankets because I'm someone who carries a lot of inflammation is a pro for me. And I've always loved my infrared mask. I'm always consist that I've always been consistent with. So for me, what I've realized is at night, the nights I do it, it is crazy how my sleep is so much better the higher dose. And yeah, when I what did I tell you the other night I woke up in the morning, five pounds of water weight was off. Because that's how you and I, we, we fluctuate because of how our bodies carry water weight. And I think through this journey of hone, we're going to see such a difference. Because that came up on both of our testing of stuff with our thyroid.
B
In this and because our insulin levels were so high.
A
Yeah.
B
Which is the reason of can cause bad sleep inflammation, retaining water weight. And obviously insulin is created by stress.
A
Right.
B
And obviously different things. And we have compromised digestive and nurse nervous systems.
A
Yeah.
B
And those being compromised, we're not getting even if you and I eat healthy as a horse.
A
Like our nutrients weren't even making it into the small intestine to deliver it to the large intestine to deliver through the body. So to your point, what I've realized what works is people could tell me now all the things coming out. No, what works for me and actually helps me with stress levels. Because this is the one thing what I've realized over anything, stress kills the most. So how can you be as stress free as possible? That's why we'll hear like the healthiest people. He died of a heart attack or this. And that like stress is worse than anything. Right. So for me, what I've realized is not only does the sauna blanket help me with my inflammation, it puts me in a meditated state, helps me sleep better.
B
Oh yeah, that thing helps.
A
And for us moms who never sit down all day, I feel like my body always throbs towards the end of the night because it's like, well, you never sat down. And then I used to be the.
B
Things I loved about breastfeeding, forced to sit.
A
Yeah.
B
Be in that comfy chair.
A
Kick up when you just like, you know, because doing the thing then with Emily, it was like her just saying. And you hear this a lot.
B
Side note, Emily Brown's the one who did our brain scans.
A
Yeah. Emily Brown with Genetic Garden, who did our brain scans. So it's just the importance of sitting down and eating. And you hear that from so many people. I mean, I remember Jay Shetty's wife, like, went on a whole thing. Like, you really have to, like, sit down and eat. And that was her big thing. And, like, for a lot of us to, like, have that tea time break in the day, whether you're at work, you're at home, like, your lunchtime, a worker at home needs to be sat down. Like, don't scroll the Internet. Just, like, take in the moment. Have some tea, eat your food.
B
I read that book Mindful Eating.
A
Yeah. Or Headspace. He put it out, and I love Andy.
B
Yeah, Andy was incredible. And that book was really amazing. It was an easy read, and I really zipped through it. I felt. But I loved it. And I was like, mindful Eating. I mean, it's so true. But that's a good book to get. People want to learn, like, how do I really sit and be mindful about, like, when I eat, how I should eat, and, like, to relax and enjoy.
A
And it brings you more gratitude. It does. When you sit, and you can just be thankful for that moment. And so.
B
Yeah. Well, you know, we're gonna keep letting you guys know how our health journey goes. I feel like we have in the last year, maybe two, definitely here on the podcast.
A
We've.
B
We've sprinkled little things that we've been trying, and now we. I feel like we both have, really. And it's funny, I say we've honed in on what's working for us, because, you know, when I think of Hone Health, I'm like, oh, that's kind of crazy.
A
It's almost like that's probably why they thought of it.
B
Well. And I was, like, thinking, like, whoa, the manifestation of, like, you know, where we're at. But so we'll keep you guys updated. And, you know, maybe I think we should bring on, you know, both the owner of Hone Health and even, of course, Emily with Genetic Garden. Garden. You know, it'd be fun to have them on the podcast and speak to everyone.
A
Why not? It's. I love the stuff that Bri and I get to do, and when we see it works, like, I'm a person who wants to share that, because I want everyone to be their best Version. And we already have other family members working with Hone, working with Emily at Genetic Garden. And it's like, I want to share these things, especially when I know that they're affordable. I'm like, I. I just want people to do it because it's like, everyone deserves to feel good. And, you know, one thing, I. I also just want to say that if you know anyone or yourself who's had. Who's had a consistent cough, please go get checked. And I don't mean like just the doctor say, oh, you need inhaler, get scanned, see if there's cancer somewhere. Because I feel like I've heard this a lot lately, like, oh, they had a cough for a year or two, and then they're already at stage four cancer. And there's already another story I heard, and I'm like, everyone and doctors confirm that cancer can start. Like, your first sign can be a cough.
B
Well, and I will say with Birdie, because we got Birdie fully checked, brain scan and full blood. Right.
A
You just could even do blood and they could detect it.
B
Just think birdies was just saliva. And they. And because her cough, like, it's been on and off, but just for it's been a while. And then I always say it wrong. Is it radon? Radon. Radon they found in her lungs. And that is a natural gas that usually gets leaked through remodels. So we're getting our house checked. My guest came from the old house because something always. There was something about it that never sat well. And I got the carbon monoxide checked.
A
And you think your bones come from the bottom up.
B
And it could have just went through her vent because it wasn't in any of our lungs. But then in Buddy's lungs, we found carbon monoxide. And they asked me, they go, is his playground that he always plays at? Is it by, like a heavy trafficked area? And I go, it isn't. Because since there was none in our lungs, they're like, that's usually not something in the house. Even though we got everything checked. They go, but the fact he has that in his lungs, it has to be where there's a lot of cars, maybe. And he's playing. So that was interesting. So that's a neat thing about getting your kids checked, too. And obviously they both had pesticides in them. Yeah. And so I was just like, that was tay.
A
And so I've been putting in. We just got my water rechecked, and there was pesticides that came through, you know, and that's when you Live in ag towns. You just got to really check. And so now I'm getting osmosis through the house because he loves bath water and he loves.
B
Well, kids drink. They drink no matter what, even though you're like.
A
But the great thing is, is we know and we detox.
B
Yeah.
A
And that's the beauty of it, is now we have people back then didn't have access to this stuff, and now we get access to it.
B
100.
A
So you want to play a game?
B
I said we play a game.
A
Okay.
B
All right. And you know what's going to be really fun about this game is that we're gonna have our producer actually ask us questions. We're gonna do a fun little rapid fire, like it all based on, you know, health.
A
Health and wellness.
B
Health and wellness routines.
A
Why not?
B
Yes. Okay, so a little morning rapid fire gonna hit us today.
A
All right, so we have 10 rapid fire questions for you both, so you both can answer. First one, what is the first thing.
B
You do when you wake up?
A
Kiss Mateo.
B
I was gonna say the first thing I do is splash some water on my face. But then I also. I'll say this. I always open up all my blinds.
A
Yeah.
B
I love to light my candles, put on my classical music, and then I'm big on then making my, like, green hydration drink and get breakfast started.
A
So for me, it's majority of the time, it's wake up, use the restroom, weigh myself, open up my curtains, hit my coffee machine on, and then I've been making a glutathymy. Did I say that right? Drink, chug that, and then I have my coffee. Between the two of you, who takes.
B
Longer to get ready in the morning?
A
Well, Bree's always late.
B
Am I?
A
Yeah, but I don't even think it's, like, takes her longer to get ready.
B
I lose track of time easy. But I feel like when it comes to actually getting ready, like, we're like, we're going around for the night. Yeah. Are we?
A
Or we're always the same?
B
I feel like you could be longer.
A
No way.
B
Yeah, we're the same. The same.
A
I would say the same on how we get ready. Yeah, we should probably take more time to get ready. But we don't.
B
We don't. What is one morning habit you wish you could drop? Maybe a bad habit. If you know what I'd love to drop is just like, in the morning when. Because I will literally sleep until I have to, like, the kids drag me out of bed in some ways. And it can get me into sometimes a state of rush. Like false. And I look at the time, I'm like, oh, shoot. I wish I could just be one of those people who was like, I wake up at 5, 5:30.
A
I know.
B
And maybe when like buddy's consistent with his sleep, but I would love to have the habit of drop the habit of my kids being my alarm clock and me just waking up naturally and doing my own thing. And then the kids wake up and it's 100, you know, my goal is.
A
To get that way, like through this as I'm starting to see energy come back. And, you know, I'm taking you guys, I'm taking out my dressing room. I've been getting rid of a lot of clothes. It's all been hard, but I was like, why am I looking at majority of these clothes? And I can make this a gym. And that's my thing is before Mateo gets up, I would love to meditate, to have a workout in. And then he wakes up and I could share that coffee with him or whatever, but I know. Or even have one coffee before him. But you know what I mean? I would. I would love that.
B
Yeah.
A
I'm exactly like you, Brie. What is one thing non negotiable, you'll never skip in the morning Coffee.
B
Yeah, there's sometimes I do actually, which is crazy. I guess for me it's. I will never not make my kids a fresh cooked meal. I feel like breakfast most important. So like they don't really know cereals. Like we try this through yourself though.
A
Let's do for yourself. Because we're always gonna do our stuff for our kids. But how about for yourself?
B
Oh, for me, Yeah. I guess it's. It definitely deals with my drinks. Whether it's like, you know, hydration or coffee I drink that makes me feel like I'm getting my day started. I never skip out on that.
A
Yeah, I feel like too you, whatever season it is, we will always light our candles.
B
I know. Which actually my doctor talked to me about, which we can get into another episode.
A
Yeah. Who is the bigger morning grump between.
B
The two of you?
A
If breeze the morning grump.
B
It's not even that I'm. If I don't get my sleep. Yeah. Things can. You know, on the negative side before.
A
Like now Brian's retired. But when Brian wasn't in days, he would be home and I couldn't reach Brie before eight. I'm like, that is sleeping in.
B
I didn't wake up this morning until 8, 10. And all of a sudden Brian comes in. He's like, okay, I'm gonna take the kids to school. And I'm like, wait, what? Wait, what time is it? And then the kids come and they're cuddling me and like then the dogs are jumping on me. And then I instantly felt like I need a rush. Like I'll quickly get ready and go with you. He's like, and I hate being rushed. I like need slow, slow time. And then he's like, no, no, you're fine. Like just slowly get out of bed. Cuz he knows, like it can affect me. And so yeah, me brain.
A
Speaking of that, what is your bare.
B
Minimum morning routine when you're completely exhausted? For me in PJs and it is gosh, bare minimum. I mean literally coffee in bed. Yeah, if it's without kids.
A
Yeah, without kids for sure.
B
Coffee in bed, room even, sir. Like, well, I think of like hotels because when we're away from the kids. But yeah, I mean, not getting out of bed.
A
Yeah.
B
And I'm someone. Like, I don't feel guilty about it. I shouldn't. Lounging. Yep. But yeah, I love that.
A
Few mornings that I don't have tay and like I feel just super exhausted. I go down, make my coffee, come right back upstairs in bed for a bit.
B
Yeah, well, you know what I've been doing is I always keep hard boiled eggs in the fridge and I feel like the kids know if I'm super exhausted and like boiled egg day. Yeah, fruit that's already been cut up. Like something very simple.
A
So bomb though.
B
Yeah.
A
Good for you. Are you both a one alarm person.
B
Or do you need multiple alarms to wake up?
A
One alarm.
B
I'm a one alarm person.
A
But we'll snooze.
B
I could hit snooze, but it's rare.
A
It's rare.
B
If I hit that the minute the alarm wakes up now you'll see me do like the slow roll out of bed. Like I'm definitely. Yeah, I throw my covers and my legs might be in the air and my arms and I'm like slowly rolling. And my dogs, if they're on the floor sleeping and they see that happen, then they jump up and they start to jump on me and get excited and then I know I instantly have to go take them out to go pee because now they're excited. I can't have them pee in the house. So yeah, one. One alarm.
A
One alarm. Okay, last one. What is one health trend you refuse to try?
B
O one health trend I refuse to try. You know, the banana on the face or the banana peel.
A
What the heck is that?
B
I don't know. I saw it. Interesting. There's interesting things I see. And I'm just, you know, I pass. I. I love anti aging. I love to give my skin the nutrients and the food it needs, but I don't need to smush it and put it all around.
A
I think for me it's always been that. What is that? Lemon oil. Whatever drink people always will do or were doing for a while, you know.
B
With the cayenne pepper and the whole thing.
A
I never got into that. Never care.
B
I did it and I wanted to vomit. I. This isn't for me.
A
No. So.
B
Well, an apple cider vinegar end up being a huge sensitivity thing for me on my test. Oh, no way.
A
Thank God. Not for me. I do two gummies every morning.
B
Oh, are you sure it's not on your test? Cuz we're identical in a lot of things. But yeah, mine. Apple cider vinegar I can't do.
A
Oh gosh.
B
I take two gummies and I think I. What I do thinking I'm being healthy.
A
Well, I mean, and t technically you are being healthy when you take apple cider vinegar. You just have a sensitivity to it.
B
Jeez, Nikki, are you so excited that it's festival season?
A
I mean beyond? Because it means that there's sunshine, the drinks will be flowing, there's good music, and of course, vacation. That's right.
B
I mean, I love the fact that at this time of year we get to plan a really fun girls trip and get a go on just a vacation.
A
Well, and it's gonna be like a sleepover because we always choose Airbnb. We always get an incredible one and it's like just a fun girls trip.
B
Yeah. And now the entrepreneur in us, you know, my will start to go when we're out having fun spending money and our houses are sitting home alone.
A
That's true. I mean, if you think about it, if you host while you're traveling, it can be a great way to offset some of the cost of your own trip. Right.
B
And if you got a big year of travel ahead of you, hosting is a pretty cool and unique way to make some money back.
A
That's right. I mean, think of how many people we know that do this, right? So 2025 is the year to be financially savvy. So don't leave money on the table when you travel.
B
Your home might be worth more than you think.
A
Find out how much@airbnb.com host this podcast.
B
Is brought to you by Kleenex Ultra Soft Tissues. Nikki, I Love spring. I love when everything blooms. I like when I see all the flowers. The trees turn, turn green. But the one thing that can disrupt spring for me is my whole family gets the worst allergies.
A

B
And also that time when allergies can test you and show up when you least expect. But with Kleenex Ultra Soft Tissues, you can be ready to face them, whether.
A
It'S sneezes or watery eyes. You don't want to be caught without a tissue on hand to help.
B

A

A
For whatever happens next. Grab Kleenex.
B
All right, everyone. You know, rapid fire usually means a one word answer, but not with you and I. Nope.
A
It's like a few sentences.
B
It means a one paragraph.
A
Yeah.
B
Well, Nikki and I, we found a quote on Pinterest and it's from at Knowing Me journaling, which hello, we love. So we thought it'd be perfect. This quote for inspiration, affirmation for all of you to take into this week and definitely goes off of what we spoke about today. But here's the quote. Wellness is not a trend. It's a timeless investment in yourself. Make it a lifestyle. And her and I, when we saw that, we go, we agree, I think so many times, especially when I was, I would say my 20s and 30s, I was very good at budgeting my money. But I was also, as Nicole knows, I was. What's the word? A little bit of a stickler with my money. I didn't like to spend it on certain things. I guess I was tight with it. And I wish I dabbled more into different things in my health and wellness journey. And I'm doing it now, which is incredible. And I've always been a healthy person. I've always cared about natural ingredients. But now it's been really great. And I see the investment in myself. I see it with my hair, my skin, my body, the way I'm feeling, putting more of my money into like, like Look, I don't even do my nails. There's a lot of things I've kind of minused out of my life, but caring more about my health and wellness. Just as a human. At 41 years old, a mom to two, a businesswoman, and living a little bit of a crazy lifestyle with travel, I can't believe how great I'm feeling. And so for me, the investment has been the best.
A
I agree. You know, I said. Said it a little bit earlier, but when I stared at that dressing room and I looked at, you know, these designer bags and outfits that I really rarely wear, they just sit there, and I'm like, what a waste a space. This space can be used to, like, truly make my life incredible. And that's when I was like, I want to put in a mini gym. Because that's like the investment that goes beyond a room, you know, and it's inside out and it's longevity. And it's really like, the past few years, my eyes have been open to that. And don't get me wrong, I still like a little designer purse or something, but it's not. It's not mainly about that anymore. When I think when I want to spend my money, at times it's always about, oh, I want to go try this retreat, or, oh, like, what? You know, what can I do for my health? Like, it's really been like, my focus is shifted, and I love it. It's because I could feel like, I'm not gonna wear that bag, you know what I mean? Later on, it's like, that bag does nothing for you, so.
B
And, girl, you made some good money off the real, real.
A
Let me tell you, I made some bomb money on the railroad, and I've been putting it right back into my. My health and into myself, which is great. Yeah, I don't even, like, buy new designer stuff. I'm truly like, now I'm gonna build a gym. Now I'm gonna get osmosis. Like, and to know, like, I'm getting, like, better than Fiji water in my house from purses. Do you know what I mean? Or now I have this home gym, and that was, like, this amount of purses. I'm like, okay, no, I'm so happy. Finally, in your 40s, you have rethought about the important things in life.
B
She's had an awakening.
A
An awakening. My goodness. And by the way, like, the real real. So bomb. So if I want to, I'm going to wait till that stuff's like, 70 off. I don't care if it's used.
B
I, I've never cared. I've always liked upcycling, recycling, you name it.
A
Yes.
