Brie returns from Tuscany. Nikki has a new puppy. Nobody is okay. The twins are catching up on everything they missed while living very different versions of summer. They're getting into Italian summer fantasies, emotional kindergarten graduations, parenting whiplash, home decor goals, algorithm obsessions, and a completely unnecessary debate about... wieners. Oh, how we missed our Breezy! Press play for the catch-up you've been waiting for.

Brie
Hey everyone. Welcome back to the Nikki and Bri show. And I feel like I need to say ciao Nikki.
Nicole
You sure do. Ciao Bri.
Brie
I mean, do you see this Italian tan I have?
Nicole
I do, I, I do. I have a farmer's tan. I feel like, you know, just doing stuff in the yard and just out and about. Yeah, but not the Italian glow.
Brie
Oh girl, I definitely have the Italian glow. I do not want to make you jealous, but I had an extremely magical trip.
Nicole
Well, tell us all about it.
Brie
So, okay, so first I'm gonna start off with the wrestling part and then I'll get into what I did in between the shows. But you know, we, I obviously started off my trip in Barcelona for Friday night Smackdown. I will tell you all, Paige and I were very sad not to wrestle in front of you in Spain or actually be out there. You know, we had A backstage, which was still really good. Fatal influence. Those are some naughty girls. But, you know, very naughty.
Nicole
They're.
Brie
We're going to have our. You know, we get them now, so we got a little taste of their medicine. They're gonna get it right back. But I will say Paige and I were so sad not to be out in the and Italy.
Nicole
Well, those crowds are so amazing.
Brie
So amazing. I mean, they don't. They're not quiet for one second loud and just like, they play into the stories. They're just so great. And, you know, I know we've talked about this before on the podcast, but it does something to the wrestlers. Always adds to when you feed our energy. Do you know what I mean? And so thank you, Spain. Thank you, Italy, for being outstanding crowds. And then the Friday, the smackdown, after Paige and I thought we. We had a match and then we didn't, and we were so sad. We were like, can we please walk out to the crowd and cut a promo and do all that? Which actually we originally were supposed to be out in the crowd and do this thing out in the arena, and last minute it got switched. We were so bummed. I was like, how is it that I'm in Europe and I did not once walk out to any. Any of those fabulous high energy crowds?
Nicole
I know, girl.
Brie
I was like, oh, gotta hear Bremo.
Nicole
I know, I know. I was so bummed.
Brie
And, you know, Paige and I got a lot of love, like, just, you know, at those places. And so it really bummed us out. But would. Did not bumm me out with Tuscany. Nicole, I know I was trying so hard to not text you constantly, but, like, I know you just share the same love and appreciation you really do for all of it. So, you guys, I decided to do Tuscany in between the smackdowns, and I wanted to pick a place where it was a drive to Bologna. I didn't want to have to, like, get on another long flight or do something like that. So when I saw that Tuscany was two hours away, I'm like, oh, perfect. I've always wanted to really just immerse myself into Tuscany. I've only been there one day, but I'm like, I just. I see so much on Pinterest that I'm like, okay, I really want to explore, you know, this region. And you also on Instagram. I feel like wrestlers were all throughout Italy. I mean, left and right, we were owning that country, right?
Nicole
I was just like, geez.
Brie
I mean, people were like, through the roof. And even wrestlers who were on the live Events were having fomo, seeing, like, so many of us. Like, some were on the Amalfi coast somewhere in Sicily. I mean, you name it. Like, we were in Tuscany, but so Nikki was supposed to join me, but couldn't make it out. And so I was like, all right, I'm going to do Tuscany alone. And I was like, doing research, like, how is it to be alone in Tuscany, which they actually said it's a great destination for women to be alone because it's super safe and just, you know, the, the, the vibe there. But last minute, a couple of the wrestlers came and met me, which was super sweet because they're like, you can't be alone. But I, you know, what I loved about Tuscany that I really appreciated, and it really just like, made me think is it's, you know, obviously agriculture, obviously wine. So, you know, that always is something I love and have passion for. But it's how the people were like, they are very slow with life, which we all know. We. Everyone, I think, always is like, you know, Europeans, like, are always very, you know, they're slow mornings, they have their long lunches, their long dinners. So. Yes. But Nicole, the sunrise and sunset just in that region, because you and I thrive with sunrises and sunsets. They were like a different level with the rolling hills, the cypress trees everywhere. Just then the vineyards and then just some of the other trees. It was just so stunning. But the people were so kind, so helpful, and you just would sit out and. And also so many sparrows. Like, you know those birds everywhere just singing.
Nicole
Yeah. Messages to, like, the king and queen.
Brie
Yeah. Or were those crows, but maybe sparrows, too. But either way, the. It was like birds were singing non stop. There was always a breeze. The sun was shining, the vino was flowing and delicious food. But everyone was so nice. And, you know, some of the wrestlers, like, we obviously really indulged in just relaxing, but we were like, this is how life's supposed to be. Like, we're supposed to just be sitting and talking, not on our phones, laughing, kind of like talking about life and the things we wish we could change or the things that we're so grateful for. And like I always say, like, the girls I was with that week, we did so much talking, like, in so many conversations. So what's the tea and hiking? I mean, there wasn't a lot of tea. We're, you know, instead it was like more just. I know, I know.
Nicole
Just kidding.
Brie
But it was more just saying, like, wow, like, this really opened up our eyes to just slow down and you know. You know what I loved about Tuscany? There's nothing there for you to buy. You don't. I mean, unless you want to buy some olive oil and some yummy, you know, honey, some vino, obviously, but. And when you go. So we went into. Explored the little medieval villages, which were so cool because you and I, you know, you can just picture, like, how that big wooden door would shut and, like, keep everyone safe.
Nicole
Yeah. The people there.
Brie
And, you know, and it was fun because one of the little villages I went to. You. You watched the Netflix show on the Medicis. Is that how you say it? That famous Italian family. So the youngest son, one of the villages, I mean, they all took over those medieval towns, but this one I went to, that was so cute. They. The youngest son, he was given that one. I don't know if it was in the right or the wrong way. Who knows? But they had this garden area with his statue in the middle, and it was so old, you could tell, like, this thing is hanging on for dear life. But the beauty and just. And they had this big catapult in front that was used to fight off, you know, people. But you just, like, for us Americans, when you're around that type of history, I literally was like, I just love being reminded how long the world has kind of been around, you know, because you even look at stuff like that, they're like. They're like, yeah, so this. This village has been around since the 11th century. And you're like, 11th century. Like, we're in the 21st century. Like, that's wild. Like, when they. You. They start to break it all down, and you're there, you're just like, wow. And then it made me be like, what buildings do we have that will stand for another 10 centuries? Like, what things do we have to show? But you want to know what was interesting is the guy who was driving me around the one day I was by myself, like, exploring. He was even saying that Italians actually talk about that modern day. They go, we, our ancestors left us with all this history and all this beauty. Like, what are we continuing with that? And I was like, oh, that's interesting. You guys think that because you're so immersed and surrounded by so much. He's like, yeah, but when we build now, it's not how they built. And I was like, I guess that is true. When you go into their cities, you. You do see more modern style buildings that, yeah, would probably be gone in 100 years. Yeah. So anyways, you guys, Tuscany, the wine was great. The Food was fantastic. You know, you. It makes you truly appreciate organic farming very much farm to table. And that food does take time to cook, and the longer it takes, the more delicious it is. And, you know, just to slow down and. And not, I don't know, not buy into all the things that the world keeps trying to convince us. It was just like. It was perfect.
Nicole
Yeah.
Brie
But you got to make a trip. And we obviously stayed at two the most incredible hotels, like, cost to there. And Costa Newton is the grandson of Isaac Newton. He's the one. That's why he calls it Costa Noon after. Um. Well, I mean, he's a Newton, but yeah. And he is not crazy.
Nicole
That's wild.
Brie
But what they did there, their website and their photos don't do it justice. Like, when I showed up, I go, oh, my gosh. Like, oh, my gosh. Yeah, it was unreal. And that was more farm, like, style, which I really loved. And then we did the Rosewood Casa Tilong del Bosco, and that just get,
Nicole
like, number one in the world.
Brie
Number one hotel in the world. Now that was like a different beast. It was incredible. It was amazing.
Nicole
And I loved the Archangel Michael statue there.
Brie
Oh, well, you know what was cool is they took over a village, but there's very strict rules when you buy villages in Italy. You're not allowed to touch the outside of it, but you can redo the inside, and I love that. So when you come in and then, like, you go inside, Like, I was like, what is this place? Like, unreal. The chapel, asap. And. Yeah, and that was the thing, too, is all the churches everywhere. I mean, I probably lit. Not even kidding. 30 candles across.
Nicole
Did you do one for me?
Brie
I did. I did one for you. I did one for Mateo. No, I did one for. I mean, you name it. Like, everyone got a candle. It so nice. But I think I really enjoyed that, too, is just seeing the crosses everywhere.
Nicole
Yeah.
Brie
You know what I found out about Mother Mary? Huh? Do you know ladybugs are named after her? Lady.
Nicole
When you sent me that, I was like. And it was, what, In a time where, like, farmers needed something.
Brie
Yeah. Because all these. I don't know what kind of bug came, but, like, was destroying. And then all of a sudden, this crazy mountain. No one had ever seen ladybugs before, but they were all praying for something to, like, save their farms. And, you know, ladybugs are great for your gardens. Like, the other day when I was out in my garden, I saw a ladybug, and I was like, you know, you get excited when you see ladybugs. And sometimes I've gone to the nursery and bought ladybugs because they do eat like all the bugs that aren't good that will go after your plants. So you want ladybugs in your gardens? They're. Yeah, they're pretty much like a natural, what you can say, like repellent, but yeah. And so that's why they call them ladybugs after Mother Mary. Wow. So our lady piece. So ladybugs, it's like crazy. I was like, you know, the stuff you learn, it's really cool.
Nicole
I know.
Brie
Stuff you learn when you travel.
Nicole
I feel like we have been in the era for a very long time about online shopping, right? And sometimes it's just really hard to remember all of the passwords and the emails of all the different sites that you shop on. Sometimes I'm like, how many times have

Nicole

Bri
Muscle milk protein for all.
Nicole
Yeah. And like, can you believe, like, two people been caught so far trying to bring in that type of plankton into Lake Tahoe? What has caught them, like, you know, thank goodness. Like Tahoe, you know, they check all boats before they go on water. Yeah, yeah, two people have been caught. So these type of plankton ruin natural ecosystems.
Brie
And they wanted to do it on purpose. Yeah.
Nicole
Why? What's the point trying to ruin, like, Tahoe?
Brie
I don't know. But why would you want to ruin, like, Tahoe? Because you're, like, disgruntled or like, life isn't going.
Nicole
No way.
Brie
This is like, what. I don't. And this is like what I loved about being in Italy. And obviously there's negatives. It's not like it's everyone's perfect and all that, but they really love their country, their culture. They're proud of it and they want to keep it going. Like, they want to preserve it, they want to see it thrive. And it's like, you know, and I'm not saying America, we're not like that, but I think there's just. Especially right now, be honest, I sometimes feel like, can we just all come together and thrive and like, be proud of our country or whatever? It just doesn't feel like that right now. And I think that's why I enjoyed being over there so much. It's like it felt different. The energy felt different.
Nicole
Yeah.
Brie
The people, all of it. And it's like we can be that. It's just we're not right now. And for example, so I'm going in, trying to, like, mess up, like, tahoe.
Nicole
Right. I DM'd it to you. I sent it to you in your DMs.
Brie
Oh, you did?
Nicole
Crazy. Yeah.
Brie
I mean, you don't have to go look no, I'm not gonna look right now. But that's so upsetting, right? And. Yeah, I mean, there's just. It's just it, you know, it's funny, you said one time, like, the last couple weeks, like, sometimes feels like we're not winning. Like we keep hearing bad news, bad news, even though there's so much good news out there, too.
Nicole
So much.
Brie
But, like, it's, you know, it's true. And it's like, it's heartbreaking because it can be good, right? And that's really just. It's just upsetting.
Nicole
Well, at least you had such a beautiful trip in Italy. And I definitely need to put. I mean, Tuscany's always been on the bucket list. That one time when we just did that day trip there and did the wine tasting, I remember always being like, I need to come back here. And I loved the movie under the Tuscan Sun. And when you sent me some of your photos, I felt like that's exactly what it was, was under the Tuscan sun for sure.
Brie
And Eat, Love, Pray, and you know what other.
Nicole
Yes.
Brie
Did you ever watch the movie with Johnny Depp? Chocolate or chocolate.
Nicole
Oh, yes. Yeah.
Brie
One of the village looked identical to, like, where that movie, it probably was shot there. But, you know, it's crazy because
Nicole
even
Brie
though, like, Paige and I were talking and we were like, so bummed out, like, we didn't get to do what we wanted to do wrestling wise out there, I was also grateful that it brought me out there and I got to enjoy that trip because, you know, it just. I felt like. I don't know, I feel like you. And I say this all the time, it's like, you need a little Europe in your life, like, see here and. Or whenever you can get it. And there's something about that place, and especially for me being away from tourism, I don't. Yeah, I don't like when it's all like, crazy long lines, all the tour stuff. And I've been blessed to see so much of that. So it's nice when I'm like, kind of out where there's nobody, like, right? I mean, there was a lot of times where I was at, it was only 10 people and, you know, not a lot of people, but I loved that. I. I love that it feels so good. And it was kind of like when you and I said when we went to Lake Como, we're like, oh, something will mark off our bucket list. But then we're like, fell in love. We're like, no, we'll be back here that's how I felt about Tuscany. I'm like, oh, I'll cross this off my bucket list. I'm like, oh, yeah, right. I'm coming back.
Nicole
Yeah.
Brie
I'm like, it's that incredible, you know, I love that. But.
Nicole
Well, while you were gone, I attended all the graduations, which were so cute. I'll start with Mat, because his was first. Just so cute. It was. It's crazy that our boys now are officially, like, done with kindergarten and.
Brie
And they're going to be first grade. You know what I mean? I don't even know how. No.
Nicole
And so. And Mateo was the cutest MC ever. I actually was sitting there blown away, because I remember when they had talked to me about it, but then I didn't really hear anything else, so I didn't know if he was going to be an emcee or not for the graduation ceremony. I can't believe the stuff he memorized on the mic and opened up the show, did something in the middle of the ceremony, and then closed it.
Brie
So cute.
Nicole
I just was like, oh, my gosh, it's my son. Like, I just could not believe it. And he was so, you know, him animated, arm out, like, oh, yeah, let's
Brie
get ready to do this. Oh, my God, I love that.
Nicole
Oh, it was so cute.
Brie
Yep.
Nicole
And he was just so proud. And then obviously, your family being there. He was in heaven, even. He was. Oh, he wasn't due them see part this time, but he was sitting, waiting in the beginning. He lo. He like, sees Buddy, and he's like, hi, Buddy.
Brie
I love it.
Nicole
Oh, it's really cute.
Brie
The kids were so excited to go.
Nicole
Oh, it was so.
Brie
And then when they went, like, I FaceTimed them, they were telling me all about it. They loved being there.
Nicole
Oh, I love that. It was precious and special and all the things. And us doing our dinner after, it was just really great. Well, it's just funny because the whole week. Because then I go to Buddy's graduation Friday, and I have all these, like, photos with Brian where it's like, brian,
Brie
I know you guys look like a couple. I do.
Nicole
Even when we were at dinner after Matteo's graduation, we all were there. He's like, oh, do you need me? Do you need to get this for your wife? Or whatever, but refer to me as Brian's wife. And I'm like, that's this kind of weak twin switch. Twin switch, Seriously. And then Friday, going to Buddies was super cute. Especially, you know, he's doing his speech, and I love, like, at the End of each kid how. You know, they say what they want to be when they're older. And the. All the boys had long lists of things, and I loved it because all the girls just had their one specific they want to be. But I loved how Buddy and his. Like, I really just want to be like my mom and dad.
Brie
I want to be a wrestler.
Nicole
And I was like, that's so cute.
Brie
Yeah.
Nicole
But I love how football player was first.
Brie
You know, that's what he wants.
Nicole
Then a. Then a teacher and a few other things.
Brie
But, yeah. Singer. Isn't that funny because. Just because I watched the. Yeah. When I watched the video, he said, I want to be a football player. Singer, Teacher.
Nicole
That's right.
Brie
And a professional wrestler like my mom and dad.
Nicole
Yeah.
Brie
So cute. Yeah, I. I see one and the last one happening. Football player, professional wrestler.
Nicole
Yeah.
Brie
Goodness, that kid.
Nicole
Hey, you know, you never know.
Brie
Yeah, but exactly. But, you know, I. I was so sad to miss it. But it was cute because when I got home, he wanted to show me everything. Like, you probably saw the big map he's been working on for a long time, and. Yeah, putting. I mean, he put 117 countries on that. Yeah. And then, you know, just Buddy, he's just. He's a lot like Brian when it comes to numbers, math, and reading. And so for me, it's just been such a joy seeing just how far he's come. But. Yeah, but the videos, like, helped because I was bummed. But, you know, and it was nice
Nicole
because I was sending you them in real time, you know.
Brie
Yeah. The girls, we were all, like, watching them in the locker room, even though they were blurry when you were first sending them, I think that that building. Our Internet was not working.
Nicole
So it was like, whatever.
Brie
I only had, like, two bars, but, yeah, so it felt like. It felt. Even though I wasn't there, I felt there in spirit.
Nicole
Yeah.
Brie
Which was nice, but it was crazy because. So just think they get this picture and a prayer that goes on the back. Well, think I have Birdies from that age.
Nicole
So I remember being at Birdies.
Brie
Yeah. So looking at them both, knowing they're the same age, and I'm like, like, what a trip.
Nicole
Doing the presentation part because I remember Birdie's in her section. I was like, this is so weird. The last time I was at this Birdie was graduating kindergarten. And now I get the boys, and I look at the boys, and I look at Birdie, who I just. They all were just so big because Birdie and Mateo were playing before, and Just seeing how they were, I was like, geez, they're so big now.
Brie
So big.
Nicole
I mean all the kids, when we all were out to dinner and just how they were playing and talking and the stuff they were doing, I'm like,
Bri
they're just big now.
Brie
They're wild. And you know when you like leave and you come back and you see the changes?
Nicole
Oh yeah. Big time.
Brie
Being gone 10 days and walking through
Nicole
the door, I'm like, I could only imagine.
Brie
Well, and Birdie is wearing a size six.
Nicole
Women.
Brie
That's wild.
Nicole
She just a lot like us though. We developed so fast.
Brie
So fast.
Nicole
What grade is she going to be in? Fourth, third or fourth. Okay, so remember fourth grade? Yeah, I remember fourth grade. So I may remember third grade very well, but I remember how developed I
Brie
got in fourth grade. Yeah. And it's interesting cuz she's not as developed as you and I got. But it'll be interesting to see. But Brian, I though also by the
Nicole
way, we were like 54 at that point because I remember when you and I were leaving elementary school, we were 5 5. And then we grew. Another.
Brie
Yes.
Nicole
You and I went into middle school. Five, five. Remember we're taller than like all the boys. And then we grew.
Brie
Oh, I do remember.
Nicole
Five, six and a half. But like I just. You and I left. Yeah, fifth grade.
Brie
Well, that's what I was telling all the things. Yeah. See she doesn't have. She keeps asking me when am I going to get them? I'm like, chill, we don't need boobs right now. But she like, no. She goes, maybe you should get me abroad just in case. I'm like, no, we got years. I'm praying years for that. But I will say Brian and I. I keep telling Brian, I go, I developed early. So she's either going to be like me and be done growing in middle school, or Bertie's just going to be really tall.
Nicole
Yeah.
Brie
I mean seeing her with the kids
Nicole
in her class, I could see how baby being at like 5 7. And maybe she ends up being super tall, like other than that.
Brie
But it's interesting because mom goes when I see Birdie, I'm like, birdie was exactly like me.
Nicole
So I'm like, mom's five nine, five eight.
Brie
Yeah. Around.
Nicole
So she's probably.
Brie
So she might be that.
Nicole
Yeah, yeah.
Brie
She can be like mom. I don't know.
Nicole
It's gonna be a trip when she's like taller than us one day. I know, like not even. Yeah. Well, you know what else you missed out this past Week.
Brie
What?
Nicole
Did you start off campus like I told you?
Brie
Did I do what?
Nicole
Start the show off campus.
Brie
No, you told me to.
Nicole
Yes.
Nikki
Which shows?
Nicole
Binged it. Oh, my. One of the greatest shows ever.
Brie
You know how many shows people have told me to watch?
Nicole
Oh, no, no. This needs to go number one. Have you not seen.
Brie
Is it a comedy?
Nicole
It's more. You know what it reminds me a lot of A new day, but they give you the feels of 10 things I hate about you.
Brie
Okay, I like that.
Nicole
But they're based in college. I binged it so quick.
Brie
Is it a movie or a show?
Nicole
Have you not seen on the reels of the women in their 40s, all the millennials. No, like, all our age group is binging it, but because they nail it. Like, I don't feel uncomfortable watching it. And everyone in there is late mid to late 20s. Except the. The lead. She's 19. But they're all college kids. But they look older. And even though there's a lot of sex scenes, it's done. I don't know, it's done in a way where I don't feel uncomfortable watching it as a 42 year old. But I've realized. Instagram. Yeah, but the stories are really, really good.
Brie
Really?
Nicole
And they're like older college kids. Meaning, like, they're all like third, fourth year. Do you know what I mean?
Brie
Okay.
Nicole
And it's about a hockey team and then this girl and this girl and this hockey player. No, you will be obsessed. Trust me. At first I was like, I don't know. And everyone's talking about it and I'm like, okay, I'll give it a try. And then I was like, this is fine.
Brie
I'll watch it.
Nicole
Amazing.
Brie
Well, you know what?
Nicole
So all the. No, I need to start sending you all the rules of women in their 40s. Like, the one woman even went viral because she's sitting, talking, going, my friends give me. Because I'm single, in my 40s, I'm divorced, I have a great career, but I don't like to go to bars, I don't like to go out.
Brie
I love.
Nicole
Like, I can't wait to get home. I nest. Like, she hits all the things where I'm like, yeah, yeah, I'm the exact same way. And she was. Then I watched off campus. I started rethinking my whole life. Like, I can. And then she goes into all these things and I go. I'm spilling the same. Because it's. You get so, like, hot and bothered of like. Like, this is so sexy. And then you're like, wait, why am I not doing more chances if you're single at this age of like, for sure of what they do in college of work. Because one of the girls, how she talks to what one of the other girls, like, go out and have fun. Fun. Like you're. You're in college. Don't be the relationship person. But it's funny because so a lot of women are doing in their 40s these like, reals where they're like campus. And then their husband, like, talks and then they go, oh, now I just realized I was married, but. Or like I've been in the off campus moments. And then I come back to life realizing, like, oh, this. Or everyone's making jokes. I think my perimenopause is gone or whatever it is. It's gone so viral. But. And off campus has hit. I think they just hit like 500 million views.
Brie
Wow.
Nicole
No, it's the number one thing right now.
Brie
Well, you know what? Everyone was, by the way, oh my gosh, I need to watch that. Is obsessed. I guess everyone's loving it.
Nicole
I don't know. Obsessed.
Brie
I don't know. Everyone was like, it's so good. But what they did was like, off campus good, I guess, but. But I think it's same age group, but they used all like unknown actors. They didn't want anyone known in it.
Nicole
And I guess this is like how I feel. One girl, I guess was like a Disney girl way back in the day. But they, they've all done obviously a little bit of work, but not like where you'd really know them from. Like, I didn't know any of them.
Brie
I think what it is is some guy, but they're like, young. I think they're like college people, but he gets obsessed with a girl. And I don't know if it started through Instagram or like, what? I don't know. Everyone was like, you need to watch
Nicole
supposedly it's the biggest thriller film right now.
Brie
Obsessed.
Nicole
Yeah.
Brie
Yes. But when I said thriller, they're like, no, no, it's not like, you know, like any of the Friday 13th type of stuff. They said there's a couple things, like, you will jump. You know what it sounded like to me, you were obsessed with that show. You. Was it called you or.
Nicole
Oh, yeah, yeah, it kind of sounds like that.
Brie
But I don't know if anyone gets killed. I don't know.
Nicole
Okay, well, I need a look. But definitely. And you and Brian should watch it too. You and Brian should for sure start off campus. It's only episodes, but they just got picked up for season two.
Brie
Brian's super picky.
Nicole
He likes love stories.
Brie
Yeah, there are some wiener shots, but like, gross. Wiener shots are like, it makes you laugh. Comical. Okay. He likes a good comical wiener show.
Nicole
No, it's great Pako winter shots. And it's all just. It's hot.

Nicole
I think it'd be.
Brie
You know what Brian and I were trying to figure out yesterday? Hot dogs were called wieners. Right? Like a wiener schnitzel or.
Nicole
Yeah.
Brie
And like they were like, oh, I'd like a wiener dog.
Nicole
Yeah.
Brie
And then when did it turn into a hot dog?
Nicole
I don't know.
Brie
Someone probably was like, we can't Call them.
Nicole
We can't call these wieners because now people are calling your guys's dick sweeners.
Brie
So we were trying to figure all that out yesterday. We had a very nice adult conversation about.
Nicole
But I want to know who created the wiener.
Brie
Well, we were saying we think the Germans. Right. With the wiener schnitzel. That. Is that where it's from?
Nicole
But it's the way that someone day like made that and then was like prey looked down and was like, wiener schnitzel. Wiener schnitzel. Because I'm.
Brie
But then they probably didn't call their pees wieners back then. I think what happened, they probably just
Nicole
called them penises or dicks.
Brie
No, this is what I thought.
Nicole
We.
Brie
They ate wiener dogs. And then someone one day looked down and was like, oh, my peepee looks like the wiener I'm eating.
Nicole
Yeah. But I feel like.
Brie
So then it was called wiener.
Nicole
Named it a wiener because he. After his wiener.
Brie
So this was our big conversation. I think the wiener dog was called the wiener first. And then we started calling Pee pees wieners.
Nicole
How to be a woman second.
Brie
I don't know. It's some history. I would like to know.
Nicole
I would like someone saying pee pee, though.
Brie
Penis. I don't know. I don't. I don't know what to say. The D word. D word seems a little too harsh.
Nicole
And for some reason.
Brie
Yeah.
Nicole
Dick and. But I love those words. But penis is the appropriate word.
Brie
Penis. Yeah, yeah. Penis.
Nicole
Not pee pee. I mean, that sounds weird.
Brie
Yeah, you're right. Pee pee.
Nicole
Imagine saying to a grown ass man like, how's your pee pee?
Brie
We were at one of the wineries in Tuscany and there was this cute little dog and she's like, oh, that's pee pee. And of course, like, I mean, I like. Me and this other girl look at each other and I'm like, why do I like. I'm just that person, you know?
Nicole
Yeah.
Brie
Always.
Nicole
Me too. Always. Yeah.
Brie
No one else fidgeted.
Nicole
No one else really named your dog Pee Pee. Yeah. Come on, Pepe.
Brie
No, it's pee Pee Pee pee. Oh, yeah.
Nicole
Yeah.
Brie
I kept trying to figure it out.
Nicole
Maybe Pipi. Yeah.
Brie
Or Pepe. Maybe I heard pee pee. I don't know. Either way. I just. I was like the one. I was the one in the group had like the big smile. Like, once I heard it, it's like, I want to so me. So right now I think it'd be fun. Let's talk a little wrestling real quick. You know they're doing queen of the ring. Did you catch that Fatal Four way on Smackdown? I was obsessed with it.
Nicole
I was like, no, I. I missed it. I am gonna catch it.
Brie
I was sitting in the back. Paige and I were watching. I'm like, this might be one of the best Fatal four Ways I've seen a long time. And I felt like the girls.
Nicole
I was at the pool, and then Mat springed his knee. I'm like, where was I? Friday was a crazy day.
Brie
My gosh.
Nicole
Oh, well, real quick. I want to.
Brie
We.
Nicole
We'll get into that, but. So we had Buddy's graduation Friday morning. And Friday afternoon, before we went to the pool with everyone, we went to my neighbor's, you know, college final for me, his musical performance. Okay, let me. And then we'll get it. Sorry not to interrupt. But then it goes into, why Miss Smackdown? And then I want to hear about this match. So he. First, we were in a classroom, and he had to give a presentation on why he created this piece. So he completely had to compose a piece. So music and lyrics, whole thing. So you pick a subject. So his subject was grass. I may be getting a little bit of this wrong, but I don't think so. Then you find a poem about the subject that you pick.
Brie
Okay.
Nicole
And then. And he did. Not Edgar Allan Poe, but someone from that. I knew the poem and the poet, and I was like, oh, my gosh. And then he had to talk about that and what his music, what he composed, what it means. So, like, he had this whole thing about brass has, you know, life and death and, like, the feelings. And then it got very musical and certain melodies and denied or these that he brought in to give this feeling and that feeling. And it went in this whole, like, I felt like I was in a movie, and it's all these smart people. And so at the end, they asked for questions. Mateo's the first one like this, and they call on him. And I was like. And Connor called on him first, and he was. So
Brie
what?
Nicole
I feel like you need to be thankful for everything. Not just grass, but you actually need to be thankful for all of nature. And then. So, like, a few other things. And Connor goes, you know what, Mateo? You're right. And I'm gonna. I'm gonna think about that next time.
Brie
That's so cute.
Nicole
I couldn't even believe that Mateo listened the whole thing, and then that was what he felt like. We need to be grateful for all of nature, not just grass. Like, yeah. And the. Obviously the classroom, everyone loved it. I just was blown away. And Mateo was so cute and wanted to go up and touch his piano. And that's. You know, Mateo's such a performer and I could just see it. But so that. And then we went swimming. Then he sprained his knee, and that's been a whole other thing. But so then the match. So I missed Smackdown because of all that.
Brie
Oh, yeah. Well, you need to go back and catch it because it was.
Nicole
I will.
Brie
Fantastic. I was, like, so impressed. I mean, Queen of the Ring is
Nicole
always such a fun tournament.
Brie
So fun. I just can't wait to see RAW tonight.
Nicole
Different. Yeah. I'm excited for two tonight. It's all these different. Just people you don't always get to see work together.
Brie
Right. And it's crazy to think, like today I was supposed to be in Paris. And I'm sorry, because I saw some people going to the show thinking Paige and I were there, but, you know, we got called off the show. They ended up not needing us. And which I wasn't bummed about because I was so ready to get home. But it's crazy to think, like, I'd be in Paris, like, probably asleep, you know, right now.
Nicole
No. And then probably starting to do the show. Life.
Brie
No, they filmed it earlier. No.
Nicole
What time was me even when I was there. Let's see.
Brie
No, they're all on delays. They have to go 6:43pm and that's it.
Nicole
We started. We started 8:00pm yeah.
Brie
Yeah, 8:00pm Yes. I just think I'd be there right now.
Nicole
They're all getting prepped. Yeah.
Brie
Yeah. They're gonna.
Nicole
Getting ready to start main event.
Brie
Yeah. Isn't that wild? But because I don't feel, knock on wood, jet lagged.
Nicole
That's.
Brie
But I slept my last turn. I slept good. Just my tummy's been off. But. Yeah, but that was from over there. I don't know where. What I caught back here with our food.
Nicole
So before we get into inspiration information, I have one question for you.
Brie
Yeah.
Nicole
Because then, obviously I've been getting so much on my feed of all the women in their 40s with off campus.
Brie
Oh, yeah.
Nicole
Which is. I can't wait to show you some of the reels now. What you've talked about it. I kind of want you to watch it and then show you a bunch of the reels. But I loved it because I came across this. I was like, that's a really great question. Women over 40. What did you stop doing that gave you your life back?
Brie
Stopped caring. Yeah, Legit. Like, for me, caring takes so much energy. But you also Forget who you are, caring about what everyone else thinks about you. And also, it becomes so exhausting that you almost have no energy to actually really figure out the things that you have passion for you. Love.
Nicole
Totally.
Brie
I felt like the minute I stopped caring, I gave myself so much freedom. And also, I felt, like, openness to, like, find out who I really am and what I want. And I also don't give a. Like, what the things. Whatever I want to do, if nobody wants to do them or enjoy them or think I'm crazy or think I'm this. Like, I don't even care. I'm like, go. You know what I mean? So that what you.
Nicole
Well, it's funny because the first few people besides one. The first one sort of stopped being married, which, you know, I could see were, for some, meaning the ones. No, but majority, like, stopped letting people take advantage of my kindness, prioritize my needs before others. If I'm not okay, I can't be okay for anyone else. Stopped wasting time on disrespectful people for me. What did you. I mean, pretty much the same as you, but, yeah, I feel like mine. I just.
Brie
I want.
Nicole
I was very curious of yours.
Brie
No, I'm very curious of yours.
Nicole
I feel like you have to think about it.
Brie
So Buddy this morning, woke up, I did slumber party with the kids, and he was still, like, sleeping. And he goes, I hope Mateo spends that $20 on Remy. Remy's so cute.
Nicole
Which I need to give you that back. But I haven't.
Brie
But.
Nicole
But that was so sweet.
Brie
But, yeah, so sweet. And it's good for, like, Buddy, for us to rejoice when he's sharing and showing kindness.
Nicole
You're right.
Brie
But. But I thought that was funny about Remy.
Nicole
Yeah.
Brie
I was like, those kids loved Remy.
Nicole
Remy's so cute.
Brie
Birdie just couldn't believe. She's like, he just looks like a stuffed animal. Like a real animal.
Nicole
Yeah, so real stuffed animal.
Brie
He's so obsessed with you.
Nicole
I know.
Brie
Obsessed. It's so.
Nicole
I just have to be like, go play with Tao.
Brie
You need it. Go play with Tail. Even though I was, like, dying while I was in Italy, she was like, the dog smells. He keeps peeing in the house. I'm like, shut up. I'm like, this is, like, the part of having a dog in the beginning stages.
Nicole
But I just love when things are just nice and clean.
Brie
Can I just tell you something?
Nicole
Tell me.
Brie
And when houses are filled with love, they're not nice and clean. So, you know. And you don't want Them I feel like we've got.
Nicole
I have been nesting more than anything. You should have saw the amount of plants I bought yesterday.
Brie
But what I mean is we don't need things to. I don't know, Sometimes you go in people's houses, it's so cold and stale. Mine is, it needs to be so clean and perfect. No, have it a little messy.
Nicole
Don't need to.
Brie
Little dogs for everywhere.
Nicole
Everywhere.
Brie
Light some candles. That's why I, like, trust me, I
Nicole
invested in a lot of things like that.
Brie
You have to. Because I. Even when I came, I've been gone 10 days now.
Nicole
I'm like.
Brie
And when I walked in, it wasn't perfect house, but I could tell everyone's been having a lot of fun and I love that. And Brian's just my Pinterest dad. Now. You have to see like, the stuff he's cooking, the snacks he puts to K with the kids. I mean, he's like. I had actually some people pull me aside yesterday at church and they were like, can we just tell you? Your husband has like, been the all star dad.
Nicole
I'm like, yes, he really has.
Brie
He's like, just incredible. But, you know, when I came in and I saw the arts and crafts on the table, books laid around the couches, you know, some sliced up fruit on top of the counter, just like different things. But to me it was like, this is people having fun. This is a house lived in, like, with just good energy. I don't know. I didn't mind it. I didn't mind seeing the stuff. So let go. Gosh. In Italy, I'm like, I'm gonna light a candle for her ocd. I'm gonna light a candle for Remy. To not have a mother with ocd.
Nicole
Whatever.
Brie
You know what I mean?

Whatever Hit us with that inspiration affirmation.
Brie
Okay, so I saw this quote and I thought, this is perfect. It's from Petros, you know, Pitros Nanios. I'm so sorry, but that's how it looks to me. And this is the quote. In America, one must be something, but in Italy, one can simply be. And you know what? I thought that is true. There is pressure on us to be something, to do something, to keep the climbing the ladder, to show, like, our neighbors what we have. That person gets one more car, they must have got a bonus. They must have, you know, gotten something. It's like we. We have been conditioned in this country on status. And success is your status, and the amount of things you have is your success and status. And I'm like, I could have been rubbing shoulders with billionaires. You know, people would know, money, whatever. I would have not known because everyone felt the same, the energy was the same, and it was just like. And you could tell they all respect each other. And I will say we get that out here in wine country, you can be sitting next to a wine owner, a farmer, and you would not know the difference. And that's a lot of, like, Tuscany. It did remind me a lot of Napa Valley in that way, which I loved. But I was like, we just need a. We rewire the way our society puts the pressure on us here in America. And we do it as a people because this is our society and no one tells us what it. We. How we live or need to be. Like, we can just simply be totally.
Nicole
So that was a lot of my solo that dropped today. I was talking about those vibes, like, talking about the summer vibes, like, summertime. You know, how, like, we now, like, have themes and all this. Well, it's very much like a European theme, but very much like what they described is they live effortlessly, and that's because they don't have this expectation of, like, what unfortunately, we do here in America, right? So, like, I Was encouraging people to do things effortlessly, have a picnic. It doesn't have to always be about spending all this money and doing all these things, but just go out and enjoy. Like, go out Mother nature, parks, picnic adventures. So just simply be. Simply another word. Just simply be. I have to say that this being home with this injury has been so incredible for me in so many ways. I've really have nested here. Like, I finally just finished things that I've been wanting to hear in my home for a long time. And I just got all these plants and I did a little bit more outdoor stuff and just nested in all these ways that I wanted to. I need to show you these. I got the centerpiece. Anyways, listen how crazy this is. I send Breathe a centerpiece lemons.
Brie
It's by this Italian Artemis or that one.
Nicole
Because usually, no, I was dying laughing at his name. That's the name of the store, which.
Brie
Oh, that's the store. And then I think it's in Florence.
Nicole
So. But I. Anyways, you guys, I send Bri this photo going, this is. I really want this. And Brie goes, I just saw it in the store and wanted to buy it. How weird is that?
Brie
And then you guys, listen to how crazy it even is. I was going to take a picture of it and send it to Nicole. And when I put. Took out my phone, the lady goes, you're not allowed to take photos of the. All the stuff in there. Which I kind of thought was a little bizarre because I don't know, I. If Nicole would have told me to bought it, I. I would have, but. And it was a little pricey. So without having, like, someone help me out with, like. Because that was the day I was by myself going to all these villages without someone, like, being like, I think this would look great in. On my kitchen counter. I just. I needed one person to make me feel good because I was by myself. Because it was expensive.
Nicole
It's very expensive.
Brie
It was actually in her shop, Nicole. It was more than what you paid on the website, which just tells me, really. And she wouldn't ship. So I was like, how do I really want to lug this around you guys?
Nicole
This thing? I. So Bri and I are obsessed with lemons and we both have been looking for a lemon centerpiece, but not too bright and very like, farm. So we found. We found this. And so I send Brie this, like, found the perfect one. And Brie was. I mean, that is a trip. You have trip.
Brie
Because you know what I loved about that? I got to see all his work was in the store.
Nicole
So I went to his site.
Brie
Oh, I could have gotten everything in there. I was like, I love to.
Nicole
I love terracotta. All of his terracotta sculptures, I go, okay, so when Bonita. Bonita has its own winery and we need to do all outdoor work, we're hiring Ceramici Servile.
Brie
I mean, if there's anyone who knows.
Nicole
Okay, you want to know what else I got?
Brie
It was like, unreal, girl. What else? I. By the way. Oh, Remy, by the way, didn't you just, like, get something for your center that you spent money on?
Nicole
I don't think so.
Brie
That.
Nicole
Okay. So, you know, I've been wanting. You know, I have my bunnies up on my fire.
Brie
I thought those were going away after Easter.
Nicole
Well, they were, but I haven't found my true spring things. So I got one of the really good indoor plants that can kind of drape over time.
Brie
Yeah, Cascade.
Nicole
I'm going to put that in it.
Brie
Oh, that'll be cute because I think
Nicole
that one goes perfect. I. Yeah, I measured. They're not that crazy big. I thought that for yours painting for sure.
Brie
But your plant.
Nicole
Yes. Okay. Yeah. And then do you know where I have. Like, when you're looking out my window and you're in my kitchen, you know where I have the Eiffel Tower? I've been wanting to do some of that space, so I'm going to put another plant there.
Brie
Oh, that look good.
Nicole
But wait, look. Oh, my gosh.
Brie
And you're.
Nicole
You and I were looking at that line. Yeah. And then I'm. So that's done. I ordered all my plants, indoor and outdoor.
Brie
Oh, good.
Nicole
I got all those. And they all have good. Why didn't you go to the nursery? Garden beds? Well, I went on a Sunday and it was closed. And then there were specific ones I want. Now I still need to go there for succulents. And then my garden beds.
Brie
Oh, I'm so excited. I came home, my artichoke plants thriving. Cucumbers are growing. Peppers. My tomatoes are coming. All my fruit trees.
Nicole
Yeah.
Brie
Crushing.
Nicole
They had a really great little lime tree that you could put in a garden bed. And then I really want to plant avocado and apple tree, but I won't. But I really want to.
Brie
So the thing about avocado needs a lot of water. Avocado cheese. Why? They're in tropical places. Okay, so you're just going to be using a lot of water. No, I won't.
Nicole
But I know there was this one Apple one. That would work.
Brie
I have apple juice. Just take a picture.
Nicole
Give me some do. Does it produce a lot?
Brie
A lot you have to see. But they won't be ready till 4.
Nicole
Like you shouldn't be buying apples at the store anymore.
Brie
We shouldn't be buying anything. We're just slowly getting poisoned.
Nicole
That's my thing is I'm trying to slowly. Even though I. I have small space.
Brie
That's all I'm trying to do.
Nicole
That's all I need. That's what I really. I mean, you see how much my lemon tree produces. But you know, neighborhood. I tell them to come grab it.
Brie
But you know why you should be going to nursing amount of lemons? Because they'll tell you the native plants and trees.
Nicole
So this one site that I love, it goes by your zone putting your zip code. So it gives you. And then you shop by your zone. And like there's two things I wanted and it's like we won't ship by to that in spring because the time and well, what I want you to help me with is I got the. That's native to us, our wildflower sprinkle mix. Yeah. I want to put those all on my back. And then where my garden beds are, I want to put the specific ones for bees and monarch butterflies and all the things. Even though I've been getting a lot of butterflies and I have my bees. But it is weird. Not as much this year as normal
Brie
because pesticides are killing them. Yeah.
Nicole
And by mine, like I. I get sprayed around my house, but everywhere else I don't. They know not to touch. And I usually have a lot more bees. Now don't get me wrong, they've all been pollinating right now. Did you send. Did you see the lady I sent you who saves bees? She doesn't even come in from with the white thing, which she does with hives.
Brie
Wow. Good for her.
Nicole
Oh my gosh. You have to go look at a lot of the DMs. They say recently there's just so many.
Brie
You just send me so many that I'm like this.
Nicole
Okay. I don't know why I've been obsessed with this. And then I know when you let everyone go. I do not know why I've been
Brie
so obsessed with this lately.
Nicole
Okay. You know when people clean things but how they put those reels together, like the sound of it just like how they squirt the soap or like spray the water squirt. It's very soothing to me. Like I just enjoy watching.
Brie
You know why? Because you have ocd. Yeah, probably like, you love that.
Nicole
I'm like, oh, look at them clean.
Brie
You're like, oh, my God. I could just smell the fresh lemon scent.
Nicole
It's actually funny.
Brie
Yeah.
Nicole
So this woman goes to thrift stores and can tell copper and sterling silver. Get pots, pans, clocks, whatever. And they're like $5, $8. She scrubs those things. They look immaculate. I couldn't believe the copper pan she found. And then she showed how she cooked an immaculate breakfast after she cleaned it. I. I damned you her stuff. I was impressed by her clock she found. I would like to look at that.
Brie
I love that.
Nicole
A tea. And then what I love is whatever it is like a teapot. After she cleans it, then she puts in the hot water and shows like, how they used it back in the day. Wow.
Brie
I love that.
Nicole
Yeah. But anyways, so just go look at some of his dms.
Brie
All right, I will.
Nicole
It makes me want to go to thrift stores and be like, oh, I think that's copper.
Brie
I love going to throw. You know, I went in one of the villages, they had like this thr store, like kind of garage sale of only the villagers get to put their stuff in there. And there's this chest of these dolls. And this man in the village, his wife, and she was like a hundred just passed away. And she had collected these dolls and she was a little girl and so. And they were like each only €18. So I got one that looks exactly like Birdie and because she really wanted a doll from Italy. And that's the doll I got her. And I was just like, you know, just think this was, you know, this woman, this was her doll. Like, you know, starting could have been 90 years ago or less like 95 years ago. And she kept it and all this. And now it's your turn, Birdie, to take care of it.
Nicole
That's sweet. I love that.
Brie
Super cute. But it was like. I mean, I'm sure those people can go in there and find some great stuff because I couldn't believe some of the paintings. Clocks and. And I was just like, ah. Like, it was really fun to like, just rummage through.
Nicole
Well, I really wanted go because it was on Hacks. Did you see the finale of Hacks?
Brie
No, I need to.
Nicole
You need to. It's really, really good. But when they're going through the markets in Paris.
Brie
Well, it was the one I wanted you and I to go to. But you had to. You were wrestling, so. But we will.
Nicole
There's just a lot I want to do with you. Yeah, we need to go do some things.
Brie
Just.
Nicole
All right, we can. You're a Brie whenever. You can do that. Next. Just give me a week with you in Europe. I have some things I want us to go do.
Brie
All right.
Nicole
I know, like, you're still jet lagged and tired, but me, who's just been fantasizing watching everyone's stuff, I'm like, I know you're trying to make Italian vibes. One night I ended up doing pasta dinner, and I have, like, I had a mictao. It's Italian night was when you were gone in Italy and I did aperol spritz. I'm like, I need Italian vibes. So I'm about to go put on a Dolce Gabbana dress and just hang around my house.
Brie
Well, I'm about to blow your mind with this. It's a cacao spritz. Tastes like Aperol. Little more bitter, but not as bitter as Campari. It's unreal. So this Italian girl goes, I know you like the aperol. It's. Americans love the apparel. But a cacao spritz is how we do it here. I'm like, like chocolate. It's from the same bean, but it's. It's like fermented for alcohol. It's different, Nicole. No, it's. It's gonna be our new drink in the summer.
Nicole
Wow.
Brie
Let me see if I can get a picture of it. I was like, what is this? Every time you saw me a picture? You probably thought it was aperol, but it wasn't. That was a cacao spritz. But it looks like, er. Yeah.
Nicole
Yeah. Okay, I gotta try that.
Brie
I'm gonna. I was like. But then when we took the cooking class and I learned how to make homemade pasta and all this stuff, Nicole, I was like, I have so many things.
Nicole
I need to finish doing this life before I leave. Baker, chef, traveler. I mean, I've done all that, but, like. Like, I need to be on top of that.
Brie
I mean, like, look at. That's a cool. It's pretty much like the same. It's hard with my phone, but yeah, like, okay, you would be blown away, but our Italian cooking sesh, the guy, he was so animated and so fun, but I was like, this is so how you cook. And we're having some vino and, like, it was all laughing.
Nicole
Yeah, but we better let everyone go.
