Bri
We were like, where's our entrance music?
Nikki
I know, I was waiting for. You can look, but you can't touch.
Bri
I don't know. Remote. Waiting for.
Nikki
I wanted some pyro.
Bri
That's the wrestler in us. You know, we always need a grand entrance.
Nikki
We need a grand entrance, you know.
Bri
Okay.
Nikki
Well, what up, Sonoma? How's everyone doing? Day two at the track For a lot of you. Yeah.
Bri
Oh. So how we really feeling? Some hangovers out there. Yeah, I know how it gets out.
Nikki
Bloody Mary's already, I'm sure, right?
Sponsor/Advertisement Voice
For some.
Bri
Exactly. Well, Nikki and I were so excited to be back here at Sonoma Raceway. Last time we were here was two years ago.
Nikki
I think it was two years ago. We were your grand marshals, which is always very cool. You know, I actually have a very funny story. So, you know, as grand marshals, you get to do ride alongs and different things like that. So Kurt Bush was taking Brie and I for a ride along. And now I've had experiences with the ride alongs. I know how they work. But I knew Bri had no idea how ride alongs worked.
Bri
No one told me anything. They just said, get in the back of the car. That's it.
Nikki
She just thought you cruise along and waves. So I knew at some point they're Gonna hit over 100 or something like that.
Bri
Yeah.
Nikki
So when Kurt starts to go super fast, Bri looks at me and she's like, has he lost his mind? She just thought he went rogue. Like, that's it like he was going to race off the track.
Bri
Well, let's give a little detail in that. That ride along. He started a gas at when we were going around a curve and like I did driver Z, I know you don't do that. So I was in the back like. Like my face dropped, I think, like, I clenched the seatbelt really tight. But it was fun. It was fun. Yeah. Maybe got a little car sick. That was it.
Nikki
Well, so, you know, I have to today for Brie and I, it's a very full circle moment for us. Just very pinch me, you know, being with WWE for 19 years, which is crazy. Yeah, right, right. Can you believe in 2027 we're gonna have our 20 year anniversary with WWE? That's crazy. Crazy.
Bri
It is.
Nikki
But so as you all know, being with WWE, we NASCAR's family too. So we've been doing NASCAR stuff since we've started with wwe. Always got to go to the races. And I mean, I got a ride with Dell Earnhardt Jr. And his NASCAR. And that was one hell of a ride, let me tell you. So when we got the opportunity to sponsor NASCAR driver for Bonita Bonita, it was like an immediate yes. Yeah. Like to grow up in this business, be a part of the NASCAR family and then turn into entrepreneurs. And now we're gonna see a Bonita Bonita NASCAR out there today in the race. Like, you know what I mean? We were just like even driving in and I'm like, bri, did you ever think.
Bri
No. I mean, I know there's pit bosses, but I feel like a boss bitch today. Oh, yeah, girl. You know what I mean?
Nikki
Make that a T shirt.
Bri
I think I.
Nikki
Maybe a trailer out here.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
I like it.
Bri
No, but it's. We're so excited. And we also have two incredible guests that we're going to have on the Nikki and Bree show today. So we're so excited to get into that.
Nikki
But I mean, we're obviously. So we're sponsoring Alex Lebe, number zero. Right. Qualified number 10 yesterday. So we're very excited for today. So we're bringing him on later. He's coming. And then we have a badass girl who we're bringing on first.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Yes.
Bri
Who I know you guys are all very familiar with.
Nikki
So.
Bri
But I mean, Nikki, I feel like, do we start our engines? Do we get this going?
Nikki
I mean, didn't you get that wrong, by the way?
Bri
Okay. Let's not bring up bad memories. Yeah. I was like, I think when they
Nikki
asked you about the three words, you had no idea Well, I was gonna.
Bri
I was thinking, on your mark, it said go. Yeah.
Nikki
It's like breathing.
Bri
And everyone looked at me. But the best is everyone thought I was joking. And they're all laughing. And I laugh back like, ha, ha. Got you.
Nikki
And she's like, they don't say that. I'm like, it's not a track meet. No. I don't even own track. If they say that, I think that's just with your kids in the backyard.
Bri
Another Bella viral moment.
Nikki
That's always.
Bri
All right, Bri.
Nikki
Well, why don't you bring on our first guest?
Bri
Yeah. I say so. Our first guest is coming off one of the biggest races of her career. She just captured a career best second place finish in yesterday's Arca Menard Series west race. And she's proving she's one to watch every time she gets behind that wheel. Let's give it up for Mia Lavelle.
Nikki
Yes. Mia.
Bri
Oh, my gosh, Mia, we are so excited to have you on the show.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Oh, thank you guys for having me.
Nikki
Okay. One, I love that we all got the memo on our shoes.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Yes.
Nikki
You know, originally our boys were supposed to be here today, so I did go get Mateo vans, too. Like, we had a full checkered outfit. I'm sad they aren't here, but I like. I like how we're matching.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
These are a race day essential. I don't do race day.
Nikki
Right. Someone out there even has the nails. And I was like, shoot, there you go.
Bri
There's your nail.
Nikki
I was like, I wanted those. I should have. Yes.
Bri
So, Mia, one thing that I absolutely love is that we're all from Arizona. Like, literally. So Phoenix or Paradise Valley?
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Phoenix.
Bri
Phoenix.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
I'm from Phoenix. And then I actually live out in Charlotte now. Hub of nascar.
Bri
Oh, yeah. All right, so yesterday, Mia, can you please take us through those final laps before you place second place?
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Oh, my gosh. Yesterday was such a fun race. We started second, and we. We were running really fast all day. We just was a me, my teammate. We were running first and second, and we're just able to check out from the rest of the field and. And it was really exciting. There were a couple times where I had the opportunity to pass for the lead, but it didn't quite shake out. But it really came down to the line. I was trying to give my teammate a run for his money, but a lot to be proud of. So I'm super happy with this second.
Nikki
I love that. You know, how does it feel that you beat a bunch of boys yesterday? Right.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Well, it Feels pretty good. But honestly, I honestly don't even think about it that way. I'm just like, I want that trophy. Like, I don't care if I'm beating men or women. I just want to be first place.
Nikki
Oh, I love that. What is it? Have you ever thought, like, when you get to victory, Victory lane or Victory circle, Right, Victory lane. Victory lane.
Bri
Oh, look at you, Nikki.
Nikki
I know my stuff. I don't say, on your mark, it set, go.
Bri
See how the Lego.
Nikki
Gentlemen, start your engines.
Bri
Gosh.
Nikki
So have you ever thought of, like, having that moment and, like, what would you do? Because I feel like so many of these drivers, they do something iconic, right, that we know them for, whether it's the bow with the flag or whatever, it may back flip, you know, is there. May I ever thought of that?
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
You know, I dream about winning all the time, and I got so close yesterday that I really did feel. I was really starting to, like, imagine, like, the reality of it. And I was like, gosh, it just. It feels too good to be true. I don't even know, like, how I would react. I. I think it's just so. There's just. It just brings me so much joy.
Nikki
Oh, my gosh. But we know you're going to get it one day. Now let's talk about Sonoma Raceway, because I feel like this racetrack has become so iconic, and I know everyone loves this track. Is it super challenging?
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Oh, Sonoma is incredibly challenging.
Nikki
That's what I hear.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Not only is it a road course, so a lot of NASCAR drivers are unfamiliar with it, but the elevation adds such an extra challenge to it. It's really hard to dial in the car setup for it, and it's just very technical. You have to be extremely precise. The back half of the track is really fast, and if you're off by a foot. Yeah, I mean, you could be off the track and in the wall. So it's very high risk as well.
Nikki
Oh, my gosh. How do you prep for something like that?
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Honestly, I think the best way is to really just relax and not overthink it. Sonoma really rewards being smooth. Smooth and staying in a rhythm. And so I really just was trying to relax and just focus on hitting my marks and being smooth. I love that.
Nikki
Kind of like the wine, you know, we focus on it being smooth. You know, it has a wild ride.
Bri
Well, the wine puts you on a wild ride. That's what it says.
Nikki
Sure does.
Bri
Mia, I would love to take it back to when you first started racing. What was it about race Car driving that you were drawn to.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
You know, I was just hooked by the adrenaline, the excitement. I mean, I actually grew up in the action sports world, but not in motorsports. I came up as a competitive skateboarder, and so I did that up until I was 14 and really didn't even get into a car until I was 13. And, you know, I just did it for fun. But it was a lot like skateboarding, where it was super high risk, very exciting. Yeah, high risk, high reward, and it was very similar to racing. And I was like, there's just nothing more exciting than being wheel to wheel with another car. And I was like, I really want to do this.
Bri
You know, what I loved is I was looking at your social media and I saw Arista Drew, X Games gold medalist. She was writing on your post, and I'm like, are you guys friends?
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Oh, my gosh. Well, I know her from the skating world, and it's just so cool. Like, all the different people that you get to meet, they're so inspiring. And, yeah, it's awesome to surround yourself with great people.
Nikki
Now, do you have a favorite driver or driver that's inspired you?
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
I will say my favorite cup driver is William Byron, and I actually really like him because, like myself, I kind of got. He got into the sport a little bit later as well. And so I think it's just inspiring that I was like, you know what? It's never too late to decide that, you know, I want to chase this. And I'm, you know, you don't have to start when you're five years old. And that was kind of the position I was in.
Bri
I completely agree. I mean, I got second.
Nikki
I know. Well, I'm like, I'm in my 40s and I'm still chasing that tag team championship.
Bri
You're right.
Nikki
It's never too late to dream, ever. I mean, broke my own.
Bri
I mean, I just had my, you know, seventh title match and I won, so I'll teach you something.
Nikki
You know what I mean?
Bri
I'm on my longest reign as a champion.
Sponsor/Advertisement Voice
I know.
Bri
I get it.
Nikki
I'm amongst champions right now. I'm getting better. Don't you worry. So I definitely feel like your outdoor space has to feel like you.

Bri
Well, okay, so race car driving is not easy at all. What do you do to stay in shape or what is it that you have to the training outside of actually being on the course that you do?
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Yeah, so we, I train physically a lot. I lift weights, a lot of cardio. It gets really hot in the race car, up to 130 degrees plus gear.
Bri
Wow.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
And so I do a lot of heat training. Training. And so yeah, it's, I'm like, I always joke, I'm like, I got little arms and I gotta drive a big car, so I gotta stay strong for that. But also just, you know, having balance to your life. I try not. I go to college full time and I really don't want to make all my entire life racing because there's more to that. And I think it helps just keep life in perspective and also, and just not take it too seriously because this is all, this is all fun we're doing.
Nikki
Yeah.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
I mean, how can you complain when you're at Sonoma Raceway and getting to drive race cars. So I think that that really translates into performance.
Bri
Gosh, I love that. Good for you.
Nikki
I mean, your parents have to be so proud of you.
Bri
I know. And they're in the audience right now.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Yeah, mom and dad.
Guest/Barbecue Expert Erica Blair
I'm very.
Nikki
There they are.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
They're so supported above me.
Sponsor/Advertisement Voice
Oh, I love.
Bri
That.
Nikki
Means a lot.
Bri
So we want to play a little game with you called 60 seconds with Mia Lovell. So we're gonna. It's like rapid fire. I should just call it rapid fire, really. But it's more fun to call it something else. But for all the fans to get to know you better. So we're gonna ask you something, and you just let us know which one? This or that.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Pretty much. Got it.
Nikki
All right.
Bri
Road, course or oval?
Nikki
Oval.
Bri
Okay. Sunrise or sunset?
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Sunset.
Nikki
Love sunset.
Bri
Coffee or energy drink?
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Energy drink.
Nikki
Yeah? What kind?
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Red Bull.
Bri
Red Bull. So you want sugar free?
Nikki
No sugar free.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Go sugar free. Yes.
Nikki
I do like the taste of the sugar.
Bri
You know, we were just in London with Ron Smackdown, and I swear the wrestlers were on a deep search for energy drinks. They weren't easy access.
Nikki
I always go into talent relations and see steal it. They always know that when there's Red Bull missing, they're like, nikki's been in here. And I'm like, you guys are making me wrestle. 10:00pm what do you expect?
Bri
I know, right?
Nikki
Yeah.
Bri
Gotta get it in.
Nikki
Yeah.
Bri
Okay. Helmet on or helmet off?
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Helmet on. Because it's actually so relaxing. You just tune out the whole world.
Bri
Oh, wow.
Nikki
And I feel like it would put me in a zone to be, like, super badass and, like, want to conquer.
Bri
Well, do you play music as you're going or. I don't know.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
No, no, it's.
Nikki
It's really quiet, like things from routine.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Yeah, it's funny. It really is relaxing because you can block out the whole world. All you have is really your radio. But there's times where I've actually almost fallen asleep while I'm waiting to get out on track. Because you're just so relaxed.
Nikki
Oh, I love it.
Guest/Barbecue Expert Erica Blair
Oh, I bet.
Bri
Okay. Country music or pop?
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Country.
Bri
Okay.
Nikki
Who's your fave?
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Yeah, who's my favorite? I love Zach Topp. I'm a sucker one.
Nikki
Let me. I like that.
Bri
Beach vacation or mountain trip?
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Mountain trip. I love Montana. That's my favorite place on earth.
Bri
Montana's gorgeous. Yes, I know. Okay. Pizza or tacos?
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Pizza.
Bri
You know what? People don't understand this about Phoenix, but we have the best pizza.
Nikki
Okay, well, not the best, but you have amazing.
Bri
Well, I think it's cuz so many people from Chicago moved to Arizona. Yes, they brought the pizza with them, but we have like the best p. What do you like? La Grande Orange. I love L. Oh, my God, their pizza. It's my favorite.
Nikki
Oh, my gosh.
Bri
Okay. Morning workout or sleep in?
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
I'll. I'll pick the morning workout. Just because I love to move. Like, work out and be active.
Nikki
Yeah. Okay, then a few questions before you go. A dream car you don't own yet.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Okay. I. Recently I've been obsessed with the 78F250. I'm like, I just want pickup truck. I don't know. Pickup truck.
Bri
Blast that country music. There you go.
Nikki
Best advice you've ever received.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Recently, I've been living by this saying, see it, feel it, trust it. I think it's really easy to, you know, have an idea of what you want and you can kind of visualize how you're going to do it. But until you trust it, that's when everything comes together.
Bri
Oh, I love that.
Nikki
I love that. And last one. One word to describe yesterday, I would say
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
confidence.
Nikki
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
In the. In the car. Yeah, Yesterday I. I really tried to just. I just felt really in control of this situation. Sometimes, you know, there's a lot of things in racing that are just out of your control. But I was. I felt very confident. I was like, you know what? I'm in control of the situation. Like the people around me. And I felt like I really had a handle on the outcome of the race.
Bri
Oh, my gosh. I love that. Mia. Well, you guys, Mia's journey has really just started. I mean, you've been in it for a while, but please follow her on her social media Instagram at Mia level. And, you know, I love it. On your Instagram, you show your workouts, you show your training, and she shows just how badass she really is. So everyone please make sure to follow her. Amia, thank you so much for coming on the Nikki and Bri show.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Thank you, guys.
Nikki
Thank you. Let's hear from Mia. All right, so we're gonna bring out our next guest in a few minutes, but I know Bri, we were touching on it, you know, a little bit. But how, like, what are your feels on sponsoring a car?
Bri
I mean, I think for any entrepreneur, when you see your business grow and you get to do really cool things like this, you know, it's just. It feels like the hard work is paying off.
Nikki
Right?
Bri
You know, we get to have a Fun day. And I love it because, you know, like I was saying earlier, I just got back from London wrestling and then to come to nascar, have some fun, and then I head to Atlantic City tomorrow. It's just. It's incredible.
Nikki
Incredible. And UAs, we were sitting in the car service, and she's like, oh, I should have brought my championship. And I'm like, right? No, I go, how did you not bring me a championship?
Bri
So it was laying on my hotel
Nikki
bed, and I kept debating, how do you debate that?
Bri
Well, I. And this is. This is where I feel like I'm being a little smart, but maybe not. Is. I know the vino's gonna kick in in the afternoon. And could you imagine me telling Triple H, oh, I left my title belt
Nikki
at nascar, I would award around my waist for you. Don't you worry about that.
Bri
Gosh, yeah. There was a lot. If you guys could have saw me in my hotel room this morning. I was just debating. I'm like, should I want to bring this? But then I don't want to lose it.
Nikki
Let me tell you, if that was me, that thing would have been right here with me, constantly in the air, showcasing it. But maybe that's what true champs are made of.
Bri
Okay, I know. Loves to diss me. That's okay.
Nikki
No, I like to mess with her.
Bri
Whatever. When you come back, you don't have a tag partner. How about that? Oh, hey. We're about to have a wrestling match right here.
Nikki
Yeah, I think we are, but. But you know what? Instead, we're gonna bring out someone who can referee us. How about that?
Bri
There you go.
Nikki
Okay.
Sponsor/Advertisement Voice
Okay, Nikki, you know, summer's coming up, which means a lot of fun things are going on. I feel like, from our family reunion to different wine events. I mean, there's so many events, and I feel like we always want to have a new look for each one of them. All of a sudden, summer comes, and every weekend feels like it's books. Nikki

So, okay, Sonoma Raceway. Are you ready for our next guest, Bri and I? And by the way, this is going to be like the first time Bri and I are actually meeting him in person. So we're very excited. So he's one of NASCAR's most exciting road course racers. He's a champion, a fan favorite, and this today he is bringing some extra bella energy to Sonoma Raceway by bringing Bonita Bonita along for the ride in the pit Boss.
Bri
Food Max.
Nikki
250. Everyone please welcome Alex Lebe to the Nikki and Bree show. Okay. I feel like the cars knew you were coming out. It was like, at first, I'm like, wait, did they hit music? Right?
Bri
It was kind of perfect timing.
Nikki
Yeah. So, Alex, I have so many questions for you. I want to know so much. What's, like, on your mind? First, thank you for having us. And thank you for giving Bonita. Bonita and Bri and I this opportunity. What were your thoughts when you first heard that we were on board?
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
That was pretty exciting. I had, like, I'm not. Not big into wrestling, but I had to do my little research, and it was. And I looked throughout your pages and all that. Yeah, pretty exciting, for sure. It's always fun to come here in Sonoma. We've been coming here since the 23. Always have a good time here.
Bri
Oh, I love that. So you're racing today at 2:30. Are you excited? Are you nervous?
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
Excited, for sure. Like I said, it's always been a pretty good track for us. We practiced and qualified yesterday. Point nine fastest in practice. Then we didn't really qualify. Great. Qualified 24. Just a little disappointed about it. I feel like the speed from practice didn't really translate. But really looking forward for the race, I feel like our. Our race setup is really good. So I think we're gonna be going forward this afternoon.
Bri
That's amazing. Now, is there anything that goes into a race day for you? How you prep? Are you superstitious?
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
No, I'd say hydration is definitely the key for us. We're long races, so well over two hours. Probably gonna be like two and a half hours today. So trying to heat a few hours, at least two hours before our race and hydrate really well because it's. It gets pretty hot and we dehydrate a lot, and we're under a lot of stress throughout those two hours. It's pretty demanding in there.
Nikki
Oh, my gosh. Well, the good thing about Sonoma is there's a lot of water and wine, so it's how we grow our grapes. So we'll keep you extra hydrated, I guess.
Bri
I feel like the grapes get dehydrated,
Nikki
so, you know, we know that Sonoma is, like, a very challenging road course, but we know that you're very incredible on the road courses. So what is it about road courses that bring out the best in you?
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
I just think it's really technical. You got to be really focused. You like the margin. You got to be really consistent and limit the errors. Because, I mean, throughout the. Throughout the runs, you get a lot of heat. In the brakes and the tires, and you gotta. You gotta be precise. And I just feel like I can limit a bit those mistakes with my experience. I've been. I'm from Canada, and I used to run the NASCAR Canada series, and we have these types of races on road courses. So I feel like it helped me a lot, Formed my driving when I was younger, and it translates a lot here.
Nikki
Nice.
Bri
And speaking of when you were younger, so you were raised in Quebec?
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
Yep, Quebec, close to Montreal. I live like an hour and a half out of Montreal. I still live there. I travel back and forth.
Bri
Okay, Montreal's gorgeous.
Nikki
Je mi pal Niki.
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
Yeah, that's pretty good.
Nikki
Is that pretty good? All right.
Bri
We learned some stuff from Maurice. There's a former wrestler friend we have that. She's from Montreal. So we got. We learned a little French.
Nikki
Yeah.
Bri
Oui, oui, oui. There you go.
Nikki
So you looked into wrestling a little bit once you knew we were on board. So you know how we have really cool entrances. If you were to get music played when you walked out to your car today, what would be your entrance music?
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
That's a pretty good question. I'd say probably I'm. Lose Yourself from Eminem.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
That's.
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
That's probably.
Bri
Oh, there you go.
Nikki
Okay.
Bri
I like that music. Tells you everything about someone.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
It really does.
Bri
You know, I love that. That's a good one. Well, I feel like. Do you have any other questions?
Nikki
Well, I mean, I wanted. I know you want to get to your rapid fire, your second.
Bri
I love rapid fire.
Nikki
I mean, who doesn't whatever you say say? But, you know, with some of the fans out here now, what's something that fans would be surprised to learn about you because, you know, we get the opportunity to learn about you a little more?
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
That's pretty good question.
Nikki
Yeah.
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
You'd be surprised to know about me. I'm not. Maybe I'm not. I'm never speeding on the road. I'm always on a cruise control. I follow the limits. Like, a lot of people don't believe me, but.
Nikki
Oh, wait, you're known as, like, a rule breaker.
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
No, not really. I'm always on cruise control. Probably I'd say, like 4 or 5% over the limit. Always trying to stay safe.
Bri
My gosh. I drive by my husband. Yeah. I swear, I always.
Nikki
Your husband's always 10 under or 15 under.
Bri
I always, like, look, and I'm like, I have to remind him the speed limit all the time. And it's not because he's driving fast, because he's Driving slow.
Nikki
Okay, I'm not gonna lie. I have been pulled over twice this past month for speeding, which is shocking. Very shocking, by the way. One was so uncalled for. He was. You were going 41 in a 25. And I go, actually I was going.
Bri
I mean, that is speeding.
Nikki
Okay, but I was going like 35.
Bri
And Alex doesn't approve it.
Nikki
No, but so anyways, I was like, I'm not gonna argue, but I. I did tell him, like, I disagree.
Bri
Whoa, you said that to him?
Nikki
I did.
Bri
So you disagreed with the law.
Nikki
But then I just got pulled over again in Virginia and I was like. He goes, you were going 75 and a 55. And I was like, that's 20 over. I was like, actually, no, I wasn't. I was going 70. And he was like. So then I was like, but where was the sign? It was a freeway in the woods. Whatever. Both of them did come back. And one was like, okay, well maybe you were going 38. And this one was like, well, maybe you were going like 70, like 2. And I'm like, so you don't even know the exact speed I was going. It's not the end of the month. Do you really need a ticket? But I got two tickets. I know.
Bri
Gosh, your insurance is going up.
Nikki
Thanks. I know. I was. You know when you try not to get really mad, but like, you're so mad. Yeah, but I.
Bri
Did you. Did you cry?
Nikki
No, I don't do that. I accepted, like. Thank you.
Bri
Well, Alex, before we play rapid fire, one thing I would like to know what's like a perfect day for Alex when you're not here racing?
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
Perfect day. Probably. Probably hang out with my child. With my child. Yeah. I got a one and a three years old. Yeah. I've been missing. I've been here with my girlfriend all week for the last 10 days, so can't wait to see them when we get back home.
Bri
Oh my God, I love that special.
Nikki
It's for sure. Yeah, it is.
Bri
Okay, well, I do love me some rapid fire.
Nikki
We've all learned that in the past, however.
Bri
So no overthinking. We're going to do quick. It'll be fun. So here we go. Road trip or flight?
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
Road trip.
Bri
Yeah, they're road trip. Coffee or energy drink?
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
Energy drink. I. I don't drink coffee.
Bri
Yeah, you don't drink coffee. But you're French. What?
Nikki
Cuz you're Canadian. French.
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
Yeah, I guess. Yeah. No, I'm not. I'm. I'm from. I'm. I'm French. Canadian.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
So I'm probably.
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
Probably different.
Nikki
Probably different cheese guys?
Bri
Yeah, some people just don't like coffee. Okay. Morning person or night owl?
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
Yeah, I'm more of a night person.
Bri
Yeah, night out. What's like bedtime for you?
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
I'm getting a little better with my kids now. I wake up a little earlier, but I'm still more of a night.
Bri
Okay, so it's like bedtime for you.
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
Bedtime's around 10 o'. Clock. It's not too bad.
Narrator/Announcer
Okay.
Bri
Oh, that's not bad.
Guest/Barbecue Expert Erica Blair
Okay.
Nikki
Yours is like eight, right?
Bri
Yeah, right. When I put the kids down, I go to sleep.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Sleep.
Nikki
Yeah.
Bri
Wine or beer?
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
I'd say wine. I don't. I'm not really.
Nikki
You're about to be like, wait a minute.
Bri
He's like, do I want to wrestle them right now? I don't think so. Okay. Horror film or sci fi?
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
Horror film. Yeah. I'm not, I'm not in sci fi at all. I'm more of a. I like a realistic movies.
Nikki
You like to get scared?
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
Yeah, a little bit, but I can. I'm really not a big sci fi guy.
Bri
Not big. I love it. All right, so we're going to ask you a couple fun questions before we let you go to get ready. What's your favorite meal after race day?
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
Probably like a really big cheat meal like McDonald's hamburger. Something. Something really fat and juicy. Like I said, we burn a lot of calories like right. Right after a race I try to eat like Candies and, and drink a Pepsi just to get a lot of sugar in my system. Cuz like I said, we burn so much calories it feels a lot better on me because if. If I don't do it, I. I got. I got like a big, really big headache and I don't. I don't feel great for a few hours.
Bri
Oh, I can only make sure you have some super size.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Yeah.
Bri
All right. Current song on repeat.
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
Damn, that's a good question. Like a song on was.
Nikki
Yeah.
Bri
That you can't get a enough of right now.
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
I'd say Daylight from. Is it Costner or something like that?
Bri
Oh, I don't know that one.
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
Is that what it is? I think it's my. It's my song at my Spotify at least right now.
Bri
Yeah, I'm gonna have to check that out. Okay. Dream car you don't own yet.
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
That's a really good one. There's too much, Too many choices. Probably a big Rolls Royce, I'd say. Yeah, like I said, I'm not really into speeding. I get to speed a lot on a racetrack, so, yeah, you get a good more of a laid back car.
Bri
Okay. And the last one, biggest racing superstition.
Alex Lebe (NASCAR Driver)
There's a lot, like I said, like, I'm not a big superstitious guy. I know, like a lot of people, like, they don't, they don't want to tell me good luck before the race, but, like, I've never felt like it really hurt me, but I can't. Their crescent are too. I wish I could.
Bri
All right, well, thank you so much, Alex. We know you have to get going to get ready for your race, so thank you so much for coming on the Nikki and Bri show.
Nikki
Yes. Everyone, let's hear for Alex Lebe. Make us proud today. We're going to be watching. I mean, you guys, how cool is this? Like, seriously.
Bri
I know. Amazing.
Nikki
And I'm just happy that he answered wine instead of beer. I was like, thank goodness.
Guest/Barbecue Expert Erica Blair
This.

Nikki
Okay, mom, for my dorm, I'm thinking Coquette meets poet core.
Bri
That sounds like a vibe.
Narrator/Announcer
What do you need and where do we get it?
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Target.
Nikki
I already have everything. On my mood board, a comforter, pillows, and a super cute floral lamp.
Narrator/Announcer
So you probably need a rug to tie it all together.
Nikki
Omg. They have the perfect CMPC rug.
Sponsor/Advertisement Voice
CMPC Coquette meets Poet Core.
Narrator/Announcer
Oh, okay. In that case, let's rtt.
Nikki
Yeah, let's run to Target.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
You're getting it.
Nikki
Find your dorm, inspiration and everything you need at Target.
Bri
I really got you, Nikki.
Nikki
Before the Nikki and Brie show wraps, we have one more guest that we're bringing out today. Because obviously being out here, Sonoma Raceway, it's all about pairings, right? And food. So our next guest is an award winning pitmaster, attorney, certified psalm TV personality, and someone who's become one of the biggest names in barbecue. She's that it's never too late to follow your passions and do it big. Please help us welcome the incredible Erica Blair. It's so loud.
Bri
FYI. I love it.
Nikki
Right? I know. This is like what we love.
Guest/Barbecue Expert Erica Blair
Nobody will be able to hear when I say things.
Bri
Yeah, right. It kind of gets your adrenaline going, you know?
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Right. Okay.
Nikki
So you've had an incredibly successful career as an attorney before making a complete career pivot into food and barbecue. What gave you the courage to bet on yourself and just completely change your life?
Guest/Barbecue Expert Erica Blair
Yeah. So for me, it's all about living your truth. And I truly believe that we do have one life. And you can't make excuses for not going after your goals. If you have a song in your heart that is the universe trying to tell you where your gifts are and where you're supposed to be. And the worst thing that you could do for yourself is to ignore that because. Because of fear, insecurity, being scared, what other people say about you. You have to go for your goals because that's why you're on this planet.
Bri
Oh, my gosh, I love that.
Nikki
Amen.
Bri
Honestly love that.
Nikki
And you know what? It's so true. And I feel like everyone that does that, they live their happiest life and so much comes with that that you just don't even expect. That's the beauty in it.
Bri
Yes, for sure. And you know what else I just love in this lifetime? All the different chapters you get to have, you know, and your book of life. It's fun to have all the different chapters, and I think I love that. So we're out here in Sonoma Raceway. What makes barbecue and racing align?
Guest/Barbecue Expert Erica Blair
Well, I think the obvious one is they're both outside activities.
Bri
True.
Guest/Barbecue Expert Erica Blair
So you're outside, you're in the elements, you're in nature, and you Want to be able to eat and fellowship and have fun. And barbecue is a universal welcome mat. You put barbecue down, you have 30, 40 instant friends. And that just lends itself to the NASCAR crowd, the NASCAR family and the barbecue. It's a beautiful pairing.
Bri
It really is.
Nikki
And then you put a little bonita. Bonita with that. And then.
Bri
And then you add a wine pairing on top. Yeah. I mean, wine and barbecue. I've always enjoyed it.
Nikki
I mean, our cuvee that's here with some barbecue. That's finger licking good.
Bri
Yeah, it is.
Guest/Barbecue Expert Erica Blair
Yes.
Bri
So if I actually. So with our cuvee, you guys, you can get today our sparkling wine. What barbecue would you pair best with Bubbles?
Guest/Barbecue Expert Erica Blair
So I love doing a really good short rib. I love doing chicken. And then also if you are doing check seafood. That's amazing. But people don't realize beef actually pairs great with sparkling wines because it cuts through the fat. It's the acid that you want. So a lot of people barbecue sauce is there because of the acid. But that sparkling wine can also act as an acid to keep your palate cleansed and refreshed when you're eating beef, when you're eating pork. So it goes great with all barbecue.
Nikki
Okay, that's so true. Because I. I feel like I'm always. When it comes to barbecue, I am always pairing sparkly. Yes. Like I want bubbles with it. Nothing else but bubbles. Yeah.
Guest/Barbecue Expert Erica Blair
Because you want, you want something light that's like helping you push down that food so you can enjoy your next bite.
Nikki
Yes, for sure.
Bri
I agree.
Nikki
Okay, so you talk a lot about something you call BBQ love. What does that phrase mean to you? And why do you think barbecue has such an amazing way of bringing people. People together.
Bri
Yeah.
Guest/Barbecue Expert Erica Blair
I truly am an advocate of barbecue love. Because when I got out in the barbecue competition circuit, I competed by myself. I did not have a team. I had no one. I rolled up to my first barbecue competition by myself in a U Haul rental truck and set up. And I was like, oh, my God, what am I doing here? And what's about to happen? Nobody knew me. People just started coming out the of of the woodworks, helping me set up my tent. This man came who ended up being my mentor, and he trimmed chicken with me through the middle of the night by lantern at my first barbecue competition to teach me what to do. And he was like, hey, I just want to let you know, if you want to be in competition barbecue, if you want to be in this field, you do have a family. You are all family here. And I never forgot that because I'm rarely scared, I'm rarely nervous. But being in the middle of Kentucky by myself, to have people just come over and actually just embrace me and help me achieve my goal, I was like, this is barbecue love, and this is the crew that I'm gonna be in for life.
Bri
Oh, my gosh. I love that. See, those are the kind of stories that we need to hear that makes us feel like humanity is good. It's so good, you know? Well, this coming week, next week, and I should say is gonna be one of the biggest barbecue barbecues of the year. It's 4th of July. Everyone got their stuff ready. I decorated yesterday. I got my flag out. I love it. So I'm. That's like, I try to barbecue more, but that's my big barbecue every year, Fourth of July.
Nikki
Well, where can everyone find you today?
Guest/Barbecue Expert Erica Blair
All right, so I'm going to be over at the Pit boss tent. We are doing a raffle for free grills, free accessories. We got some pulled pork on the smoker right now that I just put on. So if you head on over to the pit boss tent, I will be there all day long.
Nikki
Nice. So we're going to be there with our bonita. Bonita Cuve.
Bri
Yeah. Grab a glass.
Nikki
Let's go get some pulled pork. That's. It's already on the cooker. And also make sure you guys to check Erica out at Blue Smoke Blair on Instagram. Thank you so much for coming on the Nikki and Bri show.
Guest/Barbecue Expert Erica Blair
Thank y', all. And y' all be blessed.
Nikki
Yes, obrien.
Bri
Oh, Nikki.
Nikki
You know, I have to say, for being our first live show at nascar, and, you know, we want to do many more, it just ended up being so perfect that the NASCARs happened to be out doing the warmups. Right?
Bri
I know.
Nikki
Did you ever think you'd be doing that here in nascar? So close.
Bri
No, not at all. I mean, there's so many feelings I have right now. My heart's beating fast from hearing the cars. I'm trying to listen, so my brain's working. A lot of things going on, you
Nikki
know, so we know, Brie. Well, you're going to get to be here with us today, enjoying. But tomorrow, you head to Atlantic City.
Bri
Yes.
Nikki
So anything you could tease for us that's going to go down in Atlantic City?
Bri
Oh, my gosh, no.
Nikki
Any other title matches? What do we got?
Bri
Well, let's just say this. I feel like so many tag teams are after Paige and I, and I think Fatal Influence is still coming so Paige and I just have to be have our guards up. We got to watch our backs because, you know, the road is not easy and it's not going to finish anytime soon.
Nikki
Well, I mean, I did get my ankle brace off finally, so.
Bri
Well, there you go. I think we have a lot to look forward to that for sure. But everyone make sure to tune in not only to the Nikki and Brie show, but Monday night Raw on Netflix, Friday night Smackdown on usa.
Nikki
Yes. And right after this, we're about to wrap. We're going to be doing a wine sampling, meet greet. We're gonna be all over the track today. Obviously I know y' all got your favorite drivers and stuff, but please ruin Alex Lebe show. Bonita.
Mia Lavelle (Race Car Driver)
Bonita.
Bri
A lot of love.
Guest/Barbecue Expert Erica Blair
Thank you.
Nikki
Bella arma belly belly. Bella army for everything. I'm gonna have a belly today, please. You know the belly from drinking later. That's right, girl.
Bri
It's gonna be Brimo.
Nikki
Can you please take us away with some inspiration, affirmation?
Bri
It's only appropriate we do a quote from Dale Earnhardt and this one we really like.
Nikki
Ready, set, go.
Bri
What?
Nikki
Just kidding. Said ready, set, go.
Bri
Oh gosh, no. That's my quote. The winner ain't the one with the fastest car. It's the one who refuses to lose. And I feel like you can take that with anything you do in life. That's right, everyone have fun today here at Sonoma Raceway.
