We are here for the Masters. We cannot wait to dive into this. This is Brie, nice first time being here at the Masters.

What a dream to be here. We can't tell you wait to tell you all about our experience so far. We also are going to have two special guests throughout the show. This is going to be a two part episode because so already happened in a day and a half here in Augusta, Georgia, here at the Masters. And we're also super happy to be here with DraftKings. We're in their house. I mean, you guys should see this place. This is where Bri and I are sleeping. But this backyard has been turned into a party place, a stage. I can't wait to tell you who we saw play last night.

I mean, absolutely incredible.

Yes. I mean, I feel like, you know, all of us, even if you're not familiar with golf, you know that the Masters is their most special tournament that they have.

[Nikki Bella]

I mean, it's their Super Bowl. Wrestlemania.

[Brie Bella]

Right? And what I love is that we always know that the Masters has kind of kept their mystery. The gosh, the special part of just not Going so public, being overexposed.

[Nikki Bella]

Well, you know, there's so much history here in Augusta, Georgia, and with the Masters, and I feel like it's one of the things that we have left in our society of SP here in America, but that we've really have preserved, that we have kept the history of it. And Bri and I, yesterday, we got to go to the course, and just to be there. There's no logos allowed. It's a very. You. You are not allowed to bring in cell phones. Everything is just green. It's done to the nines. But when we walked in, we were like, are we in heaven? The trees feeling of it, the trees course, the flowers, that everything was just done beautifully. Just the fresh paints and no digital scoreboards. Right. They still place them in the way everyone dresses. It just it. You were like, where? I feel like I'm going back in time, but it was such a magical moment. And to see no one holding phones, I loved it.

[Brie Bella]

No one's head was down.

[Nikki Bella]

No one's.

[Brie Bella]

Everyone was looking up.

[Nikki Bella]

Everyone was just so engaged. And I was just like, oh, my gosh. This is what it used to feel like. And I wish we were still like this.

[Brie Bella]

I know. Well, you know what was incredible was to be able to put your phones away, like, before you get out of the car. Everyone's like, okay, your phones are going in the glove compartment. And that alone just felt freeing. And you haven't even started your journey at the Masters, so to do that, we all get out. And you just felt a little lighter, like you're saying, like, okay, Brian, I won't talk to you till the end of the day.

[Nikki Bella]

Love you. Yeah.

[Brie Bella]

You know, and they do have phones inside, so you can do the old school calling way. Yes.

[Nikki Bella]

To do your check ins. I loved that part. And so once Brie and I knew that we were coming, the Masters has turned a lot about the fashion.

[Brie Bella]

Yeah.

[Nikki Bella]

So for Brie and I to plan our outfits, it was just so much fun. I mean, I was like the Etsy queen. Also got some cute stuff off ebay, which I'll have to show you guys. But I really went full in, had Happy Gilmore socks. But it was really fun to do the fashion part of the Masters always.

[Brie Bella]

And I actually decided not to do green. I was like. Because green is the most popular. I know. I was like, I'm gonna be a little different, which. So. So I leaned in more to the khakis. Obviously. I'm wearing the blues and the yellow beard.

[Nikki Bella]

Well.

[Brie Bella]

And also I wanted to be Spring and fresh.

[Nikki Bella]

Yeah. I wanted to be straight up greens, but golf esque, I will say. But it was a golf anista. A golfanista. But it was cool because we first started at a flag. And what was that spot called? It's a house.

[Brie Bella]

Map and flag.

[Nikki Bella]

Map and flag. So it's a hospitality house. Yes. The most incredible spicy jalapeno margaritas.

[Brie Bella]

Yes.

[Nikki Bella]

We were in heaven. But what was neat. So I don't know if you guys have heard. And the food was delicious. The food was unreal, Unreal. And it was cafeteria sandwich, french fries, the barbecue sauce, the coffee stand. Then they're known here for the Georgia peach ice cream sandwich as well as they made it into a cookie form here. I told Briego, I got salads, pokeball. Have to be so good. But then, of course, I. Yeah, we had cocktail shrimp. But I was like, the fried chicken sandwich I had to try, it was unreal. Barbecue sauce. I dunked on it. Then I had to get french fries to dunk on it. Then I had a few margaritas. Then I was like, I have to have the Georgia peach cookie. Unreal. I. I was like, okay, I just had lunch and dinner. But what's really neat and what they're really known for as well is the iconic golf shop that's over at the course that is, like, incredible. But we knew, okay, the line might get long. So at the map and flag spot, they have their mini golf store or the mini store, the master store there. And it's like, all the things.

[Brie Bella]

Still incredible stuff.

[Nikki Bella]

I mean, Brie and I were like, we just need to shop in here. We got the fam. All these things. We did hats. We got mama puzzle, jj. We got him some golf covers. I mean, we were having more fun in there. Of course, we got ourselves some things. Well, and then you. Yeah, the shipping's in. In there.

[Brie Bella]

Yeah, you. You.

[Nikki Bella]

Right. When you go to the register, you walk around the corner, and then you could go ship out.

[Brie Bella]

I mean, it. It was all. It felt like. What were we saying? Pleasant.

[Nikki Bella]

Pleasant Pleasantville. I. I do. I feel like I'm on a movie set, but getting delivered in real life, I'm like, this is just incredible. And we got to tell them about the party last night.

[Brie Bella]

I mean, okay, so Nikki and I love. We love some live music. And we were so excited because Dave Matthews played a private show last night, so.

[Nikki Bella]

For the Draft Kings and Sports Illustrated. Yes.

[Brie Bella]

And so her and I, we've been Dave Matthew fans since high school. So, I mean, we're talking 20 plus years, and we've never been able to see a show. Every time we tried something, a conflict of schedule, and all of a sudden, front row in this intimate setting. I'm putting these videos on social. And there he is playing his hits.

[Nikki Bella]

Well. And what's so cool is because we're staying here at the house. When we came back from the course, Dave was just finishing up soundcheck. Yep.

[Brie Bella]

Just hanging out.

[Nikki Bella]

And he was just hanging out. So I was like, brew, we. We have to take advantage of this opportunity. Dave Matthews is right there. So we went over and we introduced ourselves, and then we had a conversation, you know, a little bit of a conversation with him. And then they took some photos. And so I immediately, when he left, I was like, I have to send this to high school group chat. Because I'll never forget what. My crew all went to the Dave Matthews concert, and I couldn't because of soccer. And I was just devastated. I was like, I can't believe. I can't go. I think it was my sophomore, junior year in high school, and I was so upset. But then I sent them that photo when we were chatting with them. And then stuff later when Bri and I are just standing there, front row, like, having a private concert, and they all couldn't believe it. I go, you know what? Full circle. I may have missed it and was so devastated in high school, but so worth it for being over 20 years later, 25 years later. And seeing him play an acoustic version of his music.

[Brie Bella]

Well, and I. I loved it because, you know, he talked about planting trees and actually how he spoke. I'm like, he's so like my husband. He speaks so much like Brian. And then when I went to go do a deep dive, like, oh, you know, like, I wanted to see, like, does he show himself planting trees? Like, what do you mean? But no. Dave Matthews Band does a lot with the Nature Conservatory, which I actually donate to them. And they plant millions of trees.

[Nikki Bella]

Millions.

[Brie Bella]

All over the world. Yeah. And I actually was like, oh, my gosh, Dave Matthews. I am plugging it in here. Support. Go to their page. Look at what they do. It's absolutely incredible. And help donate to. Because we need trees to breathe.

And, you know, we all know, like, how talented Dave is, right?

To see that up close and personal. I Mean, just standing up there by himself with a guitar, how his different pitches, his different pitches and what he does and his guitar. Everyone was just singing, like word for word, which was really cool to feel like the whole vibration of the room, like, just singing. But I'm just like, wow, Bri, we have such a blessed life. Like, you know, our family, they're die hard golf fans. We grew up in a golf family. We were always surrounded by golf. Golf was always on the tv. And, you know, there's a part of me that feels bad that we're here and they're not, but also, they're also excited for us. But I'm like, bri, what a life. We have, like this experience. We get to be here at the Masters. We got a VIP experience. We're watching Dave Matthews. We could almost touch his shoulder. We got to have a conversation with him. What a cool, down to earth guy.

[Brie Bella]

I agree.

[Nikki Bella]

And then it's just like to be in this environment's really cool. And you know, we become friends with some of the golfers. So to see them and their wives yesterday and their families, like, I think that's what I love about golf so much is they really embrace the whole family.

[Brie Bella]

I agree.

You know, they want to showcase them all on their TVs, they put them on their platforms, and I think there's such beauty in that. I love how they showcase, you know.

[Brie Bella]

For sure, a family friendly environment. And I think what's really neat is how big golf's got even with the young people.

Like, how many kids now again?

[Brie Bella]

Yeah, well, it's been cool, but I.

[Nikki Bella]

Feel like, I don't know, has it been cool?

[Brie Bella]

But I feel like young kids now aspire to be golfers instead of always like a football player. Well, you know, or then I felt like soccer players. But now, like, you see a lot of the younger generation want to be golfers. And I think that's amazing.

[Nikki Bella]

Well, and I think what's cool. And you know, we have a few golf wives coming on our show. So super excited. We have Katherine Fitzpatrick coming on and then we also have Jenna Sims. I'm going Brooks. I always get his last name, so everything. Genesim's, kpka have both them coming on in a little bit. But what. What I really love too is golf has really stepped their game up to fashion. And it's a huge thanks to all these wives who really brought into social. We've seen it in football, now we're seeing it in golf. And I love it because, you know, these men, you need Strong women behind them. For sure. These careers are massive, you know, from football to golf. But I love that these women are giving us the inside look, not only of their lives with their husbands. And we get to see a softer side of these male athletes.

[Brie Bella]

Sure.

[Nikki Bella]

But also to see them and what they do. They're all becoming entreprene. Or we get to see them as moms. But I love how they're truly changing the game in the fashion world of both these industries.

[Brie Bella]

Oh, yeah.

[Nikki Bella]

Because a lot of females watch these sports. And, you know, I'm really excited because I'm going to be speaking at this event in New York soon. Bows. And there's one of the golfing pros who sits, who's from the pga, and she's going to be speaking on the panel. But it's just neat to hear how far women in the PGA have come. Oh, for sure.

[Brie Bella]

It's absolutely incredible. But I was on Catherine Fitzpatrick's Instagram looking at like, okay, so how do I pack for the Masters?

[Nikki Bella]

What's like golf cute golf attire?

[Nikki Bella]

Well, her TikTok's so cute. All the get ready.

I'm like, I love Jill.

I know. I'm like on her Instagram, like, okay, like, what do you like? What kind of shoes, what kind of elf dresses do you wear on the golf course?

So it's fun. They're so. Yeah, they definitely influence the whole golf wear and the fashion.

[Nikki Bella]

Right. Well, so, you know, Brie and I become close with Jill and Justin because I met Jill and Justin when I did the Nickelodeon golf tournament. So I became close with them, too. And we just always all four kept in touch. We have our own group chat going. And what I love is we ran into them. I can't remember if we ever told this story, but how we ran in Lake Como. They had their big tournament in Rome, and then Bri and I were there for a 40th birthday. We all happened to be there at the same time in Lake Como at the same hotel. So we all hung out. Bri and I have actually have invested in Justin sunscreen companies. So if you guys need sunscreen, make sure to go buy where spf, because we're a part of that and we represent Justin. But Brie and I said, what was crazy is when we get into map and flag and we're getting our margaritas and then we go look up on the screen and it's Justin, Jill, and their new baby girl.

Doing the par three. And I was like, see, this is What I love about golf and like the Masters, but it was like the Par 3 contest.

And you're like, but I don't really watch golf. The is one that you keep the tv. You start on Thursday and you just keep that TV on. It's so good.

It is good. And, you know, before we get to these special interviews, Nikki and I are really excited because after this, we are headed to Hooters to have lunch with John Daly.

That is right. We know you all are so jealous. So as Bri and I were heading. And you know what's so funny? I just didn't put it all together. And here's going to be another blonde moment who are going to go, omg. When I was buying shirts on Etsy, I saw the John Daly Hooters, the masters old school T shirt. So I go, I'm buying that. I bought it. And so then when we were driving and to the course, there's the Hooters and it says real big, meet John Daly and bring like, oh, my gosh. And they go, you guys, that's the iconic Hooters where John Daly. Since day one.

[Brie Bella]

I mean, I knew about it, just not.

[Nikki Bella]

Yeah, but I just didn't driving, like, oh, you know, I don't know. It was just, you know, a pinch me moment. But then green. I go, no, we. We have to. Before we leave Augusta, go there. And they're like, really? And we're like, no, we're. We have to go to that Hooters. We have to meet John Daly. So we get to do that today.

[Brie Bella]

That's amazing, girl.

Do you kind of, like, talk about the nerves? Like, how did. How was your morning this morning?

Nothing. Like, that's in his zone. He's doing his thing. He's got his own rituals, but I'm, like, getting ready, doing my thing. And he's very stoic, very in the zone, concentrating. And we don't talk about much. It's never I'm nervous or how you feeling? He's kind of just, like, feeling good. Yeah. So.

Oh, I love that. Well, you know, it's funny because when we were at the course yesterday and we were talking to Brooks for a bit, I was like, so it's spaghetti and bananas tonight, right? And he was like, what? Because, like, in soccer before, like, big games, or they always wanted. They wanted us to carb load and then bananas in the morning.

I mean, is. But I felt like a kid thing.

Like, when you're not like. I don't know. Do pro athletes really do that? I don't think so.

I think, you know, they are walking a lot.

Do you guys make sure to have, like, a nice big breakfast? Because I just feel like when. Once you get to the golf course, like in the zone, walking all the time, there's no time to stop.

Yes. Big breakfast is essential. Like, fuel the day. Important to have a big breakfast. I think Matt had eggs this morning and toast and avocado and everything.

I love that. Is this one of your favorite tournaments to be a part of?

Oh, my gosh. I love this tournament. It's so iconic. It's so special. There's so much history involved this week, and the golf course itself is just such an experience. It looks fake. You guys know from yesterday, walking around, were you really. Were you surprised? Were you expecting it to be like that?

Very surprised.

[Nikki Bella]

Very. Okay. I mean, well, it was beyond the expectation.

[Brie Bella]

Right.

[Nikki Bella]

Like, I knew it was going to be special because when everyone knew we were coming, they're like, oh, my gosh. Most incredible experience. But I wasn't expecting that. Like, we both looked at each other, we go. We feel like we went to the good place. Like, it Was.

Yeah. No, it's like a movie scene. Yes, I know too.

[Brie Bella]

Like the whole beforehand, you can't bring your phone in, so you're like hiding your phone, which none of us are used to anymore.

[Catherine Fitzpatrick]

Right.

You always have it in your hand. So that kind of felt exciting. We got. We made sure to get a disposable camera so it all like, just like before. Getting there was exciting. And then walking through, I was like, I've never seen people so present.

I know.

Like, I made eye contact with more strangers than I have in, like, I swear, the last four years. It was incredible.

[Catherine Fitzpatrick]

The random conversations, too, that you end up having when you're not looking at your phone when you're waiting for someone. Yesterday I bumped into someone who was. I guess he did all the merchandise for the gift shops.

[Nikki Bella]

Oh, wow.

And he was such a lovely person and just so friendly and conversations you wouldn't have and people that you wouldn't meet when you're looking at your phone.

Yeah.

Okay, can we talk about the gift shop? We tried to wait in line a.

Okay. So when we first walked by, it was only 20 minutes. We're like, oh, perfect. Well, we're gonna go do stuff and then we'll come back. But then we ended up going and doing stuff for hours because we wanted to walk everything.

Yeah, you can't spend the whole time in line.

No, exactly.

I think it was a two hour wait when we came back.

No, we didn't.

Well, so we went to. We were getting all our food and drinks at Flag and Map.

UPS is there. And I love it because there's no labels anywhere. But like, Bri and I shop. Got our family, we got everyone. Ha.

Yes. So in a little bit. I really want to get into you, but I want to talk a little Bit more about golf. So you get to travel the world and you travel everywhere. Where have been your favorite spots? What is it like being a wife of a golfer? Because I feel like, especially with the different reality series that have come out, like, it reminds me two of the football wives you all are become your own TV personalities, your own, like, your own following. Right. And so how has that been?

[Catherine Fitzpatrick]

It's awesome to have that opportunity. So when I first met Matt, I worked for a tech company called commvault.

[Nikki Bella]

Oh, good.

[Catherine Fitzpatrick]

Which was awesome. And I had to do a ton of travel for work, but I wasn't able to go to as many as the tournaments. And I was really took like, it was much more of a backseat role. And now I'm able to travel a lot more and like you said, kind of see how I want to experience these events and how I can support Matt and just be there for him and kind of develop my own sense of style for the matches. Matt always actually yells at me when I say matches. It's tournaments. But for some reason, I can't get that out of my mind. I always say matches.

I bet I.

Tournaments.

No, but that's how we fit.

[Catherine Fitzpatrick]

But, yeah, it's been a great experience and a great opportunity, and there's so many people that can relate to our side of what's going on behind the scenes and what we're wearing to the tournaments and our experiences. And that we would recommend for people attending the events what they should definitely not miss out on or things from the gift shop. And so it's been really fun to share that.

I love it. I mean, I instantly went to a bunch of your Instagrams when I was getting ready for the Masters because I'm like, okay, what's like, yeah, golf appropriate. But I also want to be fashionable because that's the fun part, at least for me, when I go to events like this is I like to, like, match and, like, pair things together.

[Catherine Fitzpatrick]

It's like, oh, totally.

[Nikki Bella]

Well, and I've really loved to that about socially what the golf wives and the football wives have brought, because golf and football's huge, right? Massive fan bases. But you guys give us, like, this extra peek in, especially for the female fans. Like, we all appreciate the fashion, but I like getting to see them be really cute as, you know, with their family and their wives and how they get married or what do they do before they, like, give a kiss before they go. I love all that stuff. And obviously so many other people do, too. And it's been so fun of See that part of it, Because I think it's just when you see these male athletes, like, it's nice to see the softer side of them. And you guys give us that, and I love that. It's just so cool. And also, you guys are badass women yourself. You know what I mean? You know how to market and brand. It's amazing. I love it.

Oh, I love that. It's. Yeah, it's fun to bring the content to the people.

Yeah, sure. What else. What do you. What else would you love to do, like, in the future? Like, do you have ideas? Because I know a lot. It is an incredible platform. I love golf myself, so anything in the golf space I would be super interested in. I was really actually inspired when Jenna Sims did Sports Illustrated last year.

And supportive of me. We played so much golf on our honeymoon, which was awesome.

We went to Australia and New Zealand.

So, like, total. He had never been there before, so he wanted to go to a place which is hard to find a professional golfer who's never been to a place.

And blisters. I wore sandals once. I went to a work event and we hosted a hospitality at Honda Classic. It's renamed now. But I wore sandals. Not really knowing because I was just like, oh, I'm just going to be working this event. I had so ended up someone wanted to go walk out and watch a couple holes and I ended up with blisters all over my feet. I'm like, never again.

You have to get asked back every year. I found that out yesterday, and I go, that's crazy. Like, could you imagine being your best behavior? Yeah. Yeah. So I'm like, wow, that's pretty interesting. But the one thing that I was blown away by it is how they keep the prices the same. So we checked out at concessions, and it was 11. I was like, this is amazing. And I heard that's kind of the same with the membership price, but, you know, it's. You would think it'd be super. It's still expensive, but not. Hey, I was getting all the details.
