Nikki dives deep into her Women's World Championship match against Stephanie Vaquer at Petco Park, from the energy of 46,000 fans to debuting her hot new gear! Brie shares her reactions watching from afar, what it was like trending without even being there, and how the Bella Army made their presence known in San Diego. C
Hey, everyone. Welcome back to the Nikki and Brie Show. And today is going to be quite the episode.
A
Oh, is that right?
C
Yeah. Because we're gonna dive real deep into Survivor Series.
A
I know the big L over here, you know.
C
I do know.
A
I lived it.
C
I really thought you were going to win.
A
Well, you know.
C
Yeah, I do.
A
Maybe another day.
C
Yeah. And I mean, I can't believe how many people were reaching out to me. Like, get out of the garden. Go help your sister. One person. Because I put up my own health video was like, stop twirling in the vineyards. Go help your sister.
A
That's hilarious. Like, well, it was. There was some wind, and there was a part where I do see. See why all of a sudden, everyone thought you were coming. Because when I. And I know we'll get in more into it later, but when I kind of rolled off to the side, this breeze came Bri. And you see the. The apron. Do a little thing. And everyone goes, yep, here it is.
C
Well, I'm known as Breezy, so, I mean, hey, I would have loved to have helped you. I would have loved to have helped you.
A
I know.
C
And. But that's okay. It is a. Okay. And I feel bad for the girl on Twitter who said she saw me. So everyone. Oh, I know.
A
I saw.
C
Because I wasn't there. She got a lot of hate.
A
That's okay.
C
It's San Diego.
A
She probably saw me and thought it was you. Yeah.
C
And there's a lot of, you know, smoking hot mils in San Diego, so I can understand how she might have seen a couple of me.
A
Yeah, I'm. And we're gonna. I know we have all these different segments, and we're gonna get into a lot of different things throughout this episode, which I'm so excited about, I have to say, which I feel like we say that a lot, but being at Petco park first time ever, was so amazing.
C
Yeah.
A
That's a 46, 000 people. When all of a sudden I was out there doing my entrance, I'm like, this is like WrestleMania for me.
C
And think.
A
I've never. I haven't had that big of a singles ever.
C
Right.
A
Like, of course, it had to be during War Games with two rings and, like, all the things. But that's okay.
C
Yeah. Well, that's the hard part about War Games, I'll be honest, is when you're watching single matches, it is distracting seeing the other ring open right there.
A
Also, imagine working and knowing, like, you can't go. You have to always keep in mind, you. You can't go to the middle because you. You can't go into the other ring and jump back. Do you know what I mean? Like, they had to keep reminding us. And for a while, we didn't know what side we'd be on because they just knew whatever side one match was on. Then we'd have to be on the other side.
C
Wow.
A
Yeah.
C
It was actually can throw things big time. Interesting.
A
But, you know, What?
C
San Diego. I mean, obviously we were born there, so we love it and lived there for quite a bit. But you know, Petco Park, I mean, San Diego's great city, but Peco park is such an incredible stadium.
A
Yeah.
C
Like, I mean, last time I was there, I was in Breod, front row Padre game.
A
By the way, a lot of them were backstage. They're like, so when are you coming back with your sister to throw the first pitch? And I.
C
When are you.
A
I said, soon.
C
Was Daryl there?
A
I didn't run into. I need to tell him.
C
You need to text. I bet he was there.
A
He probably was because he does.
C
Like with Ray and.
A
Yeah, and they.
C
All.
A
The Padres crew, they. They got all the talent. Really cool jersey.
C
They got that Dom Perry on in that back.
A
Well, I'll tell you what, that backstage is awesome. At Petco Park. The Omni Hotel is incredible. They gave me the Tony Gwen suite, which was like their biggest suite there. The views of the bay, the ocean, the sunset, Petco Park, I had it all. I was like, this is ridiculous. It was unreal.
C
That's amazing.
A
It was amazing. And just to be able. Even though they would take us in vans that were like two seconds to the stadium, it was just so cool that, like, because I had dad and Alexi and Ezekiel there that you can just. In Claire, you just walk over that bridge and you're at Petco Park.
C
That's what I did for the Padre game.
A
Yeah.
C
Don't remember my walk back too much.
A
I bet you don't.
C
I had to make a. A nice little stop at. I want to call it Greasewood Flats, but it's not called that.
A
What's it called? Moonshine Flats. Moonshine Flats. Yeah.
C
Talk about a bar.
A
I mean, is that in Gas Lamp?
C
It's. You can walk from Petco Park.
A
Oh. Oh, yeah.
C
Let me tell you. Do they get bars awards? Like best bar of 2020?
A
I'm sure they do something.
C
Okay, well, that bar needs an award.
A
Yeah.
C
You know, that's interesting because they'll give cafes and restaurants. Do we actually do that to bars?
A
Yeah. Well, okay, so you know what? I. I just came across this skin and I forgot how funny this was. So. Remember when the pamphlet came out? Was it the Zagat Awards or. Yeah, you remember the restaurant stuff?
C
Like, they don't do that anymore.
A
Well, I don't know. But. So Chris Farley and Adam Sandler played Mr. Mrs. Zagat. So she's like going, Chris Farley's playing the wife, and she's going through the Pamphlet of like, ooh, this Mexican restaurant. And then reading the description and like, do you remember how it had that do? Little spicy, but you have to. I need to send it to you. I was crying last night. You could tell Adam Sandler's trying not to break. So, so bad. And oh my God, Chris Farley was just the greatest. I literally the other night, for an hour just was watching non stop Chris Farley clips.
C
I did that weeks ago because we were all saying when we got off the roller coaster ride for our birthday that we felt like we looked like, you know, when Chris Farley, I can't remember. Oh, it was in the movie with David Spay when he comes in, his hair is wild and he's like, ah.
A
I know, like just came out of the car accident or he had something like blown up or something crazy.
C
But anyways, I. So I went down the rabbit hole. Chris Farley. And I was like, he is just one of a kind.
A
One of a kind.
C
He was hilarious.
A
And so that's funny when you bring up that because I go, I remember when. I remember when that came out. We got it. We were so excited because you got to read about all the restaurants in.
C
Your area and well, if the great bars. I'm here.
A
Yeah, Brimo, you would be a perfect.
C
Radio Brimo for nothing. And I will definitely judge. Actually, that's how we judge it. Do I get into brie mode or not? Yeah. And that's how good your bar is.
A
I love it.
C
You know, because if it's a shitty drink, this girl's out.
A
Right.
C
You know, I could do a lot of judging in a lot of places. Yeah. But back to War games. The one thing I do have to say about this pay per view that I find very exciting is it's definitely more aggressive than other ples that you'll see. And I do feel like everyone amps it up.
A
Yeah, it's, you know, themes are always fun. Themes are, you know, sometimes online they've, you know, some have been so critical of it and I'm like, you guys, get back to the make believe of what we did. It's. So when I see some of the critics and like, you know what they're saying and they're going after the creative team and they're going after all these people at wwe and I'm like, get back to the make believe of it.
C
Yeah.
A
Enjoy the really good wrestling and also enjoy the storytelling. I. That's the one thing I've realized that's become really lost. And I think even now this is online fans, right? Because the ones in the crowd were having the greatest time. That crowd, from beginning to end was amazing. I was like, you know, because I was in the toughest spot of all, Stephanie and I, and they were so amazing. But it's like, I feel like they've lost the make believe in. And look, I just think in general, everything just comes off more negative online. Right, People? You know what it is more instead of, like, be like, oh, that was cool. But what I like about war games, I get lost in the make believe of it. And that's what I love. I think it's so fun to like.
C
Well, that's why we all love.
A
They come out. Yeah, you can't wait to see who's gonna come out, what weapon they're gonna have. And like, that's so fun. I thought it was so fun.
C
Yeah.
A
I mean, and the girls crushed it. They looked so good from entrances to what they did in the ring.
C
Yeah. Well, I have to say, it was fun to see your new gear. You debuted your new gear. Bad gear. Is that what that was? Bad.
A
So I wanted.
C
When you talk to your gear guy, what'd you say?
A
I said, look, I feel like it's time for a change. I've been in jerseys forever. I want to keep sexy sporty, but I want it to feel more bad, girl. And so it's funny because he did the sketch and I was like, ooh, I love it. So then when I met him in LA, it was Thanksgiving, Mateo went to Artem's at 2, and then I went straight to the airport, and then I then flew to LA and I met him. And it was funny because when he met me at my hotel room and he pulls out the bra and I'm like, oh, where's the rest? And he goes, what do you mean? And I'm like, oh, that's a bra. And he's like, yeah, it's the sketch. And I was just assuming maybe it was a full back or I don't know. And I go, oh, my gosh, I don't know how I'm going to do this. And he's like, you're going to do it and it's going to be amazing. But I made sure before I went out there, not only was I fully taped and all the things.
I got sewn and taped in, I mean, like. Like, I made them not only sew me in, but I go, can you duct tape around?
C
Yeah.
A
And so. And I got tips from Ria because she wears bras and, well, you Know what I mean? Like, whatever. Draw, inspire, that shape. So. But I won't lie, there was a few moments, like, I. I caught myself looking down because when I bumped, I was like, they're still in, right? Like, but I. I loved it. I loved the look.
C
I thought it was great, and it's.
A
A good change, and I'm going to keep moving forward with it and going in more and more of a different direction.
C
I love that. Change is nice. Evolving is great.
A
Yes.
C
And so I. And I feel like your gear definitely matched your character, the personality. Yeah.
A
You felt it. Okay, well, because we really haven't gotten to talk about it. You know, I knew, okay, I'll give away a little with. Not giving too much away, right. But so I knew where we were at on the card. We are in the difficult spot, and I knew we weren't going to have a lot of time and we had to tell a specific story.
So for me, the one thing that I was told was, like, we need Super Heelish. Because what they realized going into it was, if you didn't watch the past few weeks, you would have no idea.
C
That was.
A
That I was a heel. And then they were afraid that I might go out and be a baby face. So the nice thing is we had the package before that showed my heel turn so that we could tell the crowd, like, she's a heel. But they, you know. You know, they were just like, we need heal, Nikki. And I haven't been healing Nikki since before I broke my neck. And I'm like, damn, I'm doing all these things on the fly, in the moment, live. It's one thing when we've been, like, when you're wrestling five years straight, doing all the live events, and it's like, yeah, okay, I could change this, do this. But, you know, it's. So. This is what I told myself. I was in there, and I go, we're doing bad bitch energy. Because at the end of the day, it's all about confidence. And, Nicole, when your music hits, you're gonna go out there and you're gonna. You're gonna have all that confidence in there. You are gonna go be this person, and that will get you into that moment. So you go, take as slow as you want doing your walk. You go, own it. And happen to be so perfect. There was a guy with the Marry Me Nikki sign that gave me even more like a. Yeah. And I've been in this full thing with everyone called me a millennial, I think, yesterday on Twitter, because they were like. They were Saying something about how my entrance was so tea. And I was like, yeah, that CI Tea. And they're like, oh, man, she's so cute. She's such a millennial. And I was like, oh, shoot, is c. Te. Not a thing. I mean, oh. And I said, drink it up. And so both those.
C
I have never heard you say. So you tried to be young and hip. Okay, first makes you a millennial.
A
I know.
C
Just speak like, how we speak.
A
No, but I would speak like hunty tea.
C
No, you wouldn't.
A
Okay, Bri, if someone said, never in.
C
Your life has said that.
A
Oh, no, tell me. Wouldn't this be your response? Like, ooh. So if I. No, in my life, knowing that I wanted to give country aura. But we already talked that. There's a word cunty, but I don't know that. Okay, but I like that word and I know it. Yeah. So if someone looked at you and you did that. That bad entrance, like that full of Rihanna, bad girl, brie. Brie type of thing, and someone goes, ooh, that was so T. Wouldn't you be like, yeah, that cunty T. No.
C
I say, that isn't a T, it's.
A
An F. No, look at Fs. Because she was like. She was walking like she had tea.
C
Well, now I'm thinking you're spitting letters at me.
A
No, the T. It's the F. What would a letter T mean?
C
I don't know.
A
So you thought this whole time was talking about the letter T, not tea?
C
Yeah. Well, like, you're coming out to spill tea like you're G gossip.
A
But, like, I owned it. Like, yeah, I had, like, a quick walking. Like, I'm about to, like, own the place.
C
Yeah, see, this is why I'm not on Twitter.
A
No, this is why you need to listen to Ariana Grande's music.
C
Nope. No.
A
Or Sabrina Carpenter.
C
No, I like Sabrina. Ariana. Not my thing.
A
I could play you a few songs and you'd be like, oh, I'm obsessed with Ariana. I've tried, by the way, Mateo now is obsessed. Lady Gaga. And I don't know where it came from.
C
Now. Lady Gaga, There was paparazzi and, you know, poker face. The whole poker face is fun.
A
Oh, so you know.
C
You know what I mean.
A
But real quick, let's get back to the entrance.
C
So you're to went out with the tea.
A
I went out with the ct. She's like, it's brilliant. I'm about to tell you. After I gave it and served it, that's what they felt. She's Like, I made it backstage. It's out here to serve. You know what's funny is when I ripped my shirt and I threw it and I loved it. Cuz the wind kind of threw it back. And I was like, you can walk.
C
Out with your tea, but I'd walk out like stone cold, like wine in my hand.
A
But I loved it. I, like, really, like, owned it. And I was like. And I felt it. And I love being a heel. And then I wanted to embrace the heel side because, you know, we have so many different heels. Right. But I wanted. I knew I had to be very vocal in this. Yeah. Match because I needed there. Even when I walked out, there were a lot of signs for me. And I mean, you have to think you and I are San Diego girls. So you could tell people wanted to cheer me and they're like, wait, what do we do? Because she's a heel. So I knew I had to be very vocal as a heel, but I actually had a lot of fun.
C
Well, can I have you pull up? I just sent you your tweet. Now, I don't have Twitter, so it's not letting me open it, but I would like to read some of the comments. When you decided to write, full of country tea. Let's all drink. Oh, and you put emojis, which makes you a millennial.
A
Oh, my gosh.
C
You so did not do this. Right here, look it. It's in your message. Pull this up. I need to see what people thought you did. Three teapots too. Oh, my gosh. I'm so much cooler than you. That just proved it.
A
Wow. Because we gotta work on it terms. But yes.
What was in your cup yesterday when you entered the arena? Okay, but first of all, some people are writing. Exactly, Mother.
C
Yeah. They're gonna start calling you grandmother.
A
What do you mean? This all means you're gonna have to get even more savage. Cunty T. I'm dead. Turning into full brie mode on the cunty tea you served so hard. Mamas. That's has got me country tea. I mean. All right. Country tea. Yes, mother. Let's have a tea party. I think I misunderstood.
C
I just think. Don't try to talk young. You're 42.
A
You got a degree in ktology. That's right. I got a lot of LMFAOs, which I don't know if that's good or not. Why?
C
Why?
A
I love the colorful language that Heal Bella uses. Yeah, so you know, I don't drink every drop. And then someone goes, what's cunty tea? I don't know.
C
I'm still trying to figure that. That's me. I'm wondering how entertaining your tweet might be. I have to say something I was very entertained with is that you got the Devil's Kiss. Twice. Yeah, twice.
A
Can we talk about this?
C
Yeah. Because one loved it. No offense to you. Loved seeing your face getting smashed in the commentator's table.
A
And I loved the compliment I got from Brian. Finally, someone took it right. But okay, so when people have their moves they're known for, I always ask, how do you want me to take it? Like, I don't think people really know, but Devil's Kiss, you're actually supposed to have your hands in the back so you look like you're really getting your face smash, which I found out that night. You really get your face smashed.
C
Yeah. You got two goose eggs on your forehead.
A
Is it looking better? My head's been on fire and. But my nose, too.
C
Yeah, look it. But, you know, hey, I need a little bit.
A
It was worth it. But I'm not gonna lie. How it hit. That's why you see, my hands are back. And then after the after three, I go. I can't take this straight to the dome anymore. So I try to put my hands. And then I realized, oh, that doesn't help either. But those on the commentator table, I just. It was full. I was. That was it. Here we go. Here. I took it straight so hard to the dome. So when she rolled me in and I. And look, see, this is where it's so funny how some people are our generation and. And there's still some in this generation, but we love. We sell. You have to sell things, right? So psychology wise, in my head, I'm thinking, no one's ever done it back to back. This was like something they like because it was emotional. So we needed to give emotion of like, you know, f you and whatever. So. But when you go into the second time, I, like, I felt like, psychology wise, in my head, it was like, you shouldn't be fully up for it. Right. Because when you take it on a commentator table, which actually legit, when you take it on commentators. Yeah. You're going to be knocked the. Out out pretty much was there. So then when you come in, like, to be all upright and all that for it. But what's funny is I remember hearing knees, and when I look back, I would have probably wanted to sell that way. I had no idea my knees were out. That's how out of it I was. Yeah. I remember when it Hit the first one and my body, when you see my body go out it literally. Because it just did.
C
Yeah, yeah. You know, it'd be really funny though. Next time you see her, you can have some holy water and say you purified yourself after that devil's kiss.
A
Yeah, no, honestly, I mean, what we're on day. What is it?
C
And yeah, yeah, it's bruised out, but it's good.
A
Yeah, still, it's still swollen like over here. But I'm good.
C
Yeah, I can see.
A
I'm fine. I'm great. Wrestling. It's wrestling. I loved it.
C
And it's war games.
A
I mean, did you see me hit that rack? I technically, if the rope wasn't there, I would have won.
C
Yeah, I see that. I did. I actually was like, oh, she's going for the rack attack.
A
Yeah.
C
So. Which I love.
A
Needed a dip. Yeah.
C
Yeah. But it was good.
A
Yeah, I loved it.
C
I mean, I loved your whole match, honestly.
A
Thank you. It's so funny when I see online and you know, they had to talk to me about this because you know, I did say, hey, I'm gonna, you know, do the devil, like take the devil's kiss how she wants, but watch online ripping parts saying I don't know how to do it. And they're like, stop worrying about that. I'm like, no, I do. Which is like 10 of our business, as you can tell by all these other things. But it's so funny because then that exactly that happened and.
It'S, it's really funny. But it's also like where I feel like so many of them of have lost and I don't know if this is newer fans or whatever, but they, they miss like I loved back in the day that you just, you knew you followed more along with the story and a feeling. So it wasn't like you had an expectation of every match is just hardcore wrestling. Like you knew this is going to be the funny quick 3 minute match and this is the more intense 15 minute match and then this one's telling that, you know, they all kind of told different stories, right. And so that's kind of what ours was and I really liked it. But when people were like, oh, which model has to work slower when they bring all that? I go that you're missing the part of the story in it. That's honestly, we didn't even have a lot of fast movement to go fast because that's not what we weren't trying to do like this spectacular. It wasn't about.
That. It was actually more about it was more about emotions between someone that were friends and they turn on each other. And yeah, they only had like a few weeks to really tell that story, but it was supposed to have more like emotion and just really recognize that this person's turned bad and this person is good.
C
Right. Well. And I just think it's preference of what people like and what people are used to.
A
I actually got, I was telling you, I got a. A few incredible great text messages and by the way, some really sweet dms from some of the top guys and everyone with them. And I was telling you, the ones that had sent it just go. It's so amazing to see someone really work on their craft, love their craft and showcase that. Because I think, you know, was the side of just being a heel and like, taking that in. And like, you don't always get to look amazing. You don't always get to look in all these ways because that's not the. You're not supposed to be the person that looks that way. You're supposed to be the person that makes people feel angry and irritated and all right. And then so I was getting all of these just incredible, which made me feel so good. And I felt great after the match, my head just hurt, but I felt great.
But to do that because I just, I went in. I mean, some people said I was bringing like your personality into it. Like when she threw me up again for those kiss. And I like, yelled, not again. And like, I just wanted to give those moments of, like, making people feel right.
C
Well, and this is the thing is.
A
That, you know, I tried to tell.
C
You this earlier, but you weren't listening. But the people online I have come to this conclusion. It's brave fingers, tiny wieners.
A
That's actually really funny.
C
I say, Brian was like crying, laughing the other day. I go, there's those brave fingers, tiny wieners.
A
And on one of them I clicked on and this angry man, because he was just so mean. What he wrote me. And I just wanted to see what else he writes. People but, like, wrote mean things to restaurants, to politicians, to, I mean, you name it, this guy not. And then to other wrestlers and stuff. But I'm like, see, they. They're just sadly super unhappy people. And also people who.
C
And sadly, you probably didn't even watch. So he's just.
A
For sure. I think they do.
C
And are they just, like, say mean things?
A
Hey, I. I am not.
I am not this era. Of course I wouldn't be. I'm not from this era. And I, I didn't train in this era. I mean, the craziest part is I touch all these. Kevin Nash was just talking about this on his podcast. Like this Nikki, literally, I literally touch with these girls. I get in the ring with them the first time in those matches. Like, I don't. I don't have live events to work them. And he was saying, like, usually you get to work someone like for 30 days on live events before you go have a big pay per view match. Which is very true. That. That's the thing. And a lot of the girls now, like, they've been with each other for years and years. Like our generation, we all were with each other for years and years, so it was easy to go out there and be like, okay, cool, you know.
But it's like, I know, I know I could. I look and I see and I know that how the things are different. But I also think it's. It's fun and different. It's not like I'm gonna be here forever. And it's funny because that's what the producers try to tell others. You will have so much time to tell these different stories. But taken, what can we tell now? And that's what I also, like, take in for myself. So now, how can this heal character? What does she use, you know, if it continues or where it goes or if she comes back months from now?
C
Her twin sister.
A
Well, but meaning, like, what can she use to dominate this era because she can't do it alone? Whatever it might be. Like, I think of that stuff. It's not like, well, you should be thinking about that.
C
Oh, what characters evolve and.
A
Oh, I, I had the. I have very good ideas.
C
I bet you do.
A
That I will show you, share with you. But, but you. You know what I mean, you and I have talked about this. I think. You know, it's so funny because you and I have said this in a lot of different things that we've been. I'm not just talking about wrestling. I'm talking about things in life. You and I have always been very understanding of where we're at in things we like, whether it's being an entrepreneur and the people I'm on a panel with. Who am I amongst what. Like, I know how to read a room and I know where I stand in that room, and I know then how to give. What. What can I give in that? So it's the. It's doing the same thing what I'm doing now. Yeah.
C

C
Thanks to Xfinity for powering today's episode well. And you did great. It was a fun ple to watch.
A
And so.
C
And I think even more fun seeing it in Petco park for me, just loved it.
A
Right. I actually have to say, the Brawley people that were there, they all came through my fanatics appearance. El Centro, Brawley, Imperial Valley. Oh, my God, I love. They were all asking about you. It was.
C
I mean, I have to say I was very honored that I was trending.
A
Okay. Brie, this is crazy. So trending number one for Survivor Series John Live and I were all trendy number one. Then I was also trending. I think it was number three or five, and then you were trending number eight, and I think you jumped to five. Just you solo. I mean, the. Everyone was some Brie. They do want some Brie. And. And I. You know, and it's funny because it was. I just. Everyone, like, I could hear things in the crowd and, like. And it's funny because I went on to this famous Mexican singer. He was sitting front row, and dad had sent me his Instagram. And so I go, why are you cheering me? Getting my butt kicked. I need to go look if he responded. But. But then there was this video that was going everywhere because he then also his friend, like, stood up and was like, get that bitch about me. And I was like, okay, we need to have a conversation.
C
Yep.
A
But I loved it. Bell Army's just the best. They were the best.
C
I know. I saw it.
A
And then they far. Then they, like, dared me to, like, go interrupt Stephanie's photo session. And I could tell she was just staring at me. And I was like, yeah. What?
C
Yeah. She's like, out.
A
Yeah. Don't make me kiss you. Yeah. Bye.
C
She's like, hasta luego.
A
Yeah. About to beat your ass and you're about to go.
C
Go away for good. Dt get the out of here.
A
Well, hopefully someone makes fun of me for it. It'd be great.
C
Good at it. More. Yeah. Feed the ego of embarrassment and.
A
Yeah.
C
Hilarious things.
A
That's okay.
C
It was great seeing Liv come back.
A
Yeah. Oh, my God, that spot was so cool.
C
And with Dominic, the whole thing, I'm like, oh, this.
A
It's so entertaining. This is the stuff that Like, I love about wrestling. It's, like, those kind of moments and those stories, and I love that. I want more of that kind of stuff, for sure.
C
Like, I mean, that's the stuff. One that makes, like, ples feel special, but also it's the part of wrestling that keeps you going, because there's no break with wrestling. We don't take seasons, so, I mean, even TV shows don't do it.
A
Yeah.
C
I mean, we're all conditioned now with TV shows, You get to watch a series and doesn't come back for a year.
A
Right.
C
So there's a lot of yearning and wanting and missing wrestling. You get a lot of pro wrestling right now. You can watch it on four, swear, different platforms, four different companies.
And so it's like, there's a lot of wrestling out there. And we go. Every week.
A
Yeah, every week.
C
So, you know, the spicing it up. Oh. Is what keeps us there.
A
Keeps us there. And those two, like, every now. Every decade or so, you get two people that get put together that just have magic and Dom and Live are magical together. You can't stop watching them. Even how they rolled up in Raw in the lowrider. And, like, it's just. And I. I actually love Roxanne with them all, because I love Raquel and Roxanne together. I think they just. There's natural chemistry there. And then we kind of got to see it all together for the first time last night. Even kind of the. The ple. Actually, and it just. It's so good.
C
Yeah. Like, they're good, great bad girls.
A
I don't want them to break them up for very, very, very long time.
C
Well, hopefully. Geez. I know.
A
It's. But I just really. I really like them all together. Yeah, it's really good.
C
I love it.
A
I love Judgment Day. Yeah, they're entertaining, so it's. Yeah, we'll see.
C
Well, it'll be fun to see what comes out of this for you. So we're gonna all definitely be staying tuned and watching what unfolds with this character. New character.
A
Actually, you know, I kind of was thinking. Tell me what you think, Bri. What I feel like, too. I just need to evolve her even more so.
C
Yeah, I do, too.
A
So, like, what would your ideas be?
C
I mean, you can't just put me on the spot for that. I need, like, a couple hours, maybe a glass of wine to think about it.
But I definitely have, like, some ideas for you.
A
For sure. I drank all the Tin man, by the way.
C
You didn't save any for me?
A
No, I Okay, I didn't. I actually am not going to lie. When I poured my second glass last night went like this and then it did the little drop, drop, drop. I was like, oh my gosh.
C
But it was good.
A
Oh, it was so good. I did two Sunday night, two Monday night.
C
Wow. You drink that very expensive bottle wine without sharing. Yeah. Crazy.
A
I know. But it was mine.
C
So that he'll. Nikki. Heal Nikki. Even on her off hours.
A
Such a. Yeah. Can I just though show because I feel like you didn't. Did you see me when I left hall of Famer?
C
Yeah, I watched your whole match. What do you mean? Of course I did. Like when they were introducing you.
A
Yeah. You didn't say anything about any of that. Like to me, like, I. I liked it.
C
Yeah. I don't know. I mean, when I watched your. You have to understand, I was in Washington state enjoying decompressing from everything, which I think we all should.
A
I'm really jealous of your sunsets.
C
I mean sunsets to even my Thanksgiving. Like, you know, I usually host big Thanksgivings, but the last couple years we go see Brian's mom and it is the most relaxing time of my life.
A
Should be.
C
I started to realize that I like to the point like I feel guilty. I'm like, wait, are you sure I can't help but why don't we do.
A
Like a friends giving the weekend before so you could do your hosting thing.
C
So make my life hard.
A
Well, because then you'll enjoy it even more. So I don't know. No, but I. Because I do think deep down you like to host something that time of year.
C
Well, I'm hosting drummer boy. But.
A
Yeah, but I don't know.
C
I know.
A
Or we could do it at my house.
C
No, I could throw like maybe a fun friends. Yeah. I could maybe do something or like.
A
My place and then we could go like bar hop.
C
Girl, we did a Halloween thing here and you freaked over the mess. And then like.
A
Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no. Freaked over the mess. All of a sudden, everyone decided to do glitter pumpkins.
C
But that's what happens.
A
And as a host. Okay, well, friends giving. I'll make sure that the rules will say no glitter. But you know, that was crazy.
C
Girl, I have.
A
And that was a different time in my life.
C
I've had to call carpet cleaners. I've had to call.
A
Yeah, me too.
C
Things have been broken.
A
It's a different time.
C
You know what I did yesterday?
A
What?
C
So I'm decorating. Yeah. And I move things around.
A
Yeah.
C
Well, I had one of my brand new candles. I. A holiday candle I bought and I thought I, I wasn't looking right because I got distracted by something. I thought I was setting it down on the table and just dropped.
A
It shattered everywhere.
C
And it was one of those things. I had to go pick up the kids in 15 minutes and I have shattered glass all in my kitchen.
A
I hate when that happens.
C
You know what I mean? It just. You're just like, why, why did I take my eye off? Why did I have to look outside at nothing? Yeah, like I that, you know. But it's okay. One holiday candle down is not bad. Yeah. But anyways, I, Brian and I, when I watched your match, we finally like had time because I wanted to watch it after the kids. I put the kids down. So it was fun. Brian and I watched it together and so I, I saw all the little details. I might not have told you because anytime we talked I was like, yeah, you haven't told me anything with holiday travel.
A
You just told me my forums could have looked better. Which I agreed. And I told you my reasons.
Which doesn't matter. You know, you have those things. It's like, you know, there's a few, you know, a few things.
C
Yeah.
A
So working on like the more intensity, getting into spots. Like, do you know what I mean? Like working like the thing is, is like I wish I could be doing this every week. You know, I was telling you that because that's how you get better. And when I got taken off TV last minute Monday, you know, I was supposed to have a full practice with Regal before and like that we were going to work on all my heel stuff and I didn't get any of that right. Which is fine. Like I need to find those other moments too. But it's. I. These are the moments where you wish you had live events so you could go work two, three days before you go in the actual pay per view like we used to. But, but what else?
C
I. I told you forums and I said something else. So just things I was like, you know, yeah, work on them. They become more deadly, look better. And that's just great.
A
Right?
C
And I, I mean I love. So for me, I am. I come from a different era, wrestling. So I appreciate when things are a little more slow paced. I like when there's a story. I like characters.
A
Yeah.
C
So I love the match. I was super into it.
Like when I saw people like write like basic or like Stephanie dumb down. I don't think so at all. I actually thought it was nice to see Stephanie do Something be like, see it different and to feel the story more. But that's just. Everyone has their different.
A
Right.
C
What they like. Some people like to see, you know, a bunch of moves in a match and want to see a bunch of flips and different things and dips. But that's not me. No.
A
And like, you know this from being a professional wrestler. We had the crowd the whole time. If we would have went in and just hit big move after big move after big move after a women's war game match and after everything John and Dom did in their match, we would have had crickets and it. No one would have been interested. We had to be a story. We had to be.
C
And every match needs to be different.
A
No, every match needs to be different.
C
Right, but that's what all wrestlers need to be.
A
Yeah, they all were engaged. They don't even realize they were engaged whether they liked it or not. But it's because of how we set that up. And then you have. And then we know there's about to be a lot more big stuff hit after us. Exactly.
C
And if a tiny wiener wants to go at it with me on social.
A
Media, I'm game free. Well, my goodness me.
C
Wrong.
A
Yeah.
C
But other than that, like, there's just like, you know, and there's a couple of things I, you know, say to Stephanie. Like, there's just, you know, other than that, I really enjoyed it. I really, really did. I loved your attitude the minute you walked in out till the minute you left.
A
Thank you.
C
I was like, where was that attitude on Traitors?
A
GMA asked me the same thing, by the way.
C
I mean, I would have been like.
A
I'm about to ask Dina Katz, can I go in next season? Because now I want to bring in Heal Nikki.
C
No, no, no, no. Redo.
A
Yeah. Yes. No, actually, there's a lot of people who were on a season before that pop in on another season. But yeah, there is a lot of. I do different. How about that? What was the. Well, there's a lot of things that were hard about my season going into Traders, you know, but now being back on TV and finally having the reps and getting comfortable, well, she would definitely show up again. And knowing that people actually play characters, I. I was so afraid that. That people would think that was really me.
C
And this is why it's very important for everyone to know in life, ask a gazillion questions before you do anything. Because then if you assume. What do they always say? You make an ass out of you and me.
A
Why didn't make an Ass out of myself, by the way. People loved how I still carried myself, for sure.
C
But let's. But what if Hill Nikki went in?
A
You're right.
C
You probably would have won.
A
I probably would have won. You're right.
C
Would have won.
A
I wish I could have been in the place I am now then. But unfortunately, I wasn't. Yeah.
C
And guess what they say.
A
Oh, let me. Let me hear. What do they say?
C
40S is when you thrive. So our 20s, you make all your mistakes.
A
I loved my 20s and my 30s, and I thrived very well. My 30s. Let me talk.
C
20S is when you make all the mistakes. 30s is when you're learning from them and getting the growth and the stuff. 40s is when you know who you are, you're gonna do it, and no one's going to tell you anything different.
A
Different. You're right.
C
So the decade of the 40s is when you're really, like, at your peak and thriving.
A
Right.
C
So you're 42 traders. You learn.
A
Yeah.
C
Could have played different, do you think? No.
A
Now.
C
Yeah. Like, moving forward.
A
So then you're saying I should go to Triple H and be like, hey, so how about some pyro or fog for my entrance? Heck, yeah.
C
And if he says, no go, why?
A
But I think I should. Do you think I need to come up with a new entrance now? Like, for being, like, kill Nikki? It's so hard.
C
Be awesome. If you, like, went.
And, like, it.
A
Goes, oh, my gosh, that's actually really funny.
C
I'd love it and be like, ew.
A
I don't want to be known as a girl farts pyro on her entrance.
C
Be amazing.
A
Oh, I'm sure it would be.
C
Yeah.
A
And very unclassy and not unclassy.
C
I was going to say not cunty. No, but you say that. That's not classy.
A
I know, but it's fun.
C
Like, if Birdie ever said that to me, she'd be in so much trouble.
A
Mom, I'm full of cuntiness today.
C
I'd be like, go to your room.
A
But at least that people are, in this era are, like, trying to make the word softer.
C
But that's the thing is the English in some way made it soft.
A
And then we say it over here.
C
And it just feels different.
A
No, but I mean, like, not. I mean, like.
C
Or like you're changing it up.
A
Yeah, I like that. I mean, I don't know.
C
I don't know.
A
I really like it. For some reason. I really love that word.
C
Like. But yeah, just, you know, don't hold Back. Just, you know, don't people please anymore or.
A
No, it was sweet because, what, one of the people DM me was like, heal. Nikki was missed. Like, this is what we need different. Okay, Brie, I want to hold back.
C
Now we're gonna do a little inspiration affirmation. And I know you got one of those bad quotes up in your phone. All right, Nikki, well, it's been fun talking about war games. It was a lot of fun watching you. So in San Diego. And I say, now you take us out with a little inspiration affirmation.
A
Yeah, I love it. Okay, so, you know, the Bell Army's been really behind me. Behind you, behind us. And it's funny because they keep saying online how Nikki deserves the win. Nikki deserves better. It's cute. And so I thought for my inspiration affirmation, because I love my Bella army so much, there was something a member said.
This weekend on one of my posts. So at this one member said on one of my posts, and it really hit me, and I was like, okay, this is. This is gonna stick with me.
We didn't win the fight, but we will win the war.
Bella army, rise up. All right. Do you know what I mean?
C
And you have an army.
A
Have an army. And when he wrote that, I was like, that's right. Well, he's a Bella army member, and he wrote that under the post. Love it.
C
Yeah, that's good.
A
We're gonna win this war. Just the beginning. And. And what I love is, like, the ones that get, like, mad at me and give me hate and are irritated on me online, they do the same to the Bell army, and we just keep rising up.
C
Yeah.
A
And now we all know this can't affect us.
C
Anyone who talks crap to you online, just hashtag brave fingers, tiny wieners.
A
Yeah, I'm actually want to write that.
C
That's gonna be my new hashtag.
A
That almost should be a shirt.
C
Yeah. And also hashtag just throwing it at.
A
All, like, the haters.
C
Like, yeah, honestly, it's gonna be my new shirt. Be like, actually, it'll be. I'll have a ruler.
A
No, it should be a wiener with hands on the computer.
C
Yeah, but like a tiny wiener. Like a big computer and a tiny little wiener.
A
Yeah, yeah, with, like, big, brave hands. Yeah, no, but, like, ugly, gross hands. Like. Like, maybe like snake hands.
C
Like.
A
Yeah, like that.
C
And draw the ugliest wiener you've ever seen.
A
Yeah, yeah, like, gross.
C
Ugliest.
A
Ugliest.
C
Gotcha. Just when you think you get me, I come back at you so much harder.
A
Oh, man. Yeah, I know.
C
I really do. I love it. This is what I. When I garden, people are like, what is she thinking about? That's what I thought about, literally, when I was cleaning out.
A
You're pulling your carrots out of your garden bed? No, the peppers.
C
I was like, perfect. Gray fingers, tiny wieners.
A
Awesome.
C
Yep. And then I go and got all my winter crop in.
A
Then she starts manifesting and praying and all the things.
C
I had a good sesh yesterday.
A
Oh, good. Well, on that note, save that for next time, Brie. Let's end it on your wiener talk hashtag. I prefer to end it on the war, but, yeah, we'll win the war. Let's end it on that.
C
There's a lot of hashtags coming out of today's episode.
A
That is right.

Nikki and Brie Garcia (formerly Bella Twins) unpack Nikki’s Survivor Series experience, diving into behind-the-scenes wrestling stories, their relationships with fans, the evolution of their characters, and embracing criticism with humor and confidence. The episode balances reflections on their careers, playful sisterly banter, and responses to online trolls, ultimately landing on the theme of resilience—summed up in the affirmation: “We didn’t win the fight, but we will win the war.”
In this episode, Nikki, fresh from Survivor Series at Petco Park, sits down with Brie to discuss the highs and lows of her big match, the emotional and creative journey behind her wrestling persona, and the broader themes of growth, adapting to criticism, and not losing the “make believe” magic of wrestling. The sisters also explore family dynamics, pop culture, and their ever-evolving journey as performers, sisters, and moms.
