Hey, everyone. Welcome back to another episode of the Nikki and Bri Show. And it is still Women's History Month. And Nikki and I, we love bringing guests on and talking to these women about what they have done to make history for.
C
For women.
B
But today, Nikki and I wanted to do something a little different because for the first time ever in our lives and what we like to feel, we're making history together in our world, Nikki and I. This Friday on Smackdown on usa, we have a WWE Women's Tag Team Championship match. And this is the first time ever that the Bella Twins have gone for the titles, so we're super excited. Nikki and I want to talk this whole episode about this match, about Wrestlemania. So, Nikki, we're doing it.
C
We're doing it.
B
We're finally here.
C
It's crazy because Bri and I have been so eager to get back on TV since Bri debuted at the Royal Rumble. And then we come back in Phoenix, Arizona, which was absolutely incredible. We always love going back to our hometown, showing up. All the family was there, we got to stay with our mom, but there was nothing like causing chaos and then finding out literally that day. Oh, by the way, next week, you have a championship match for the tag titles. Like, what? What? But wow. Like, it's. I still just still not like I Guess in shock.
B
Yeah.
C
You know, ready for it.
B
Yeah. It's funny because you will always think of these moments and you'll sit back and you'll daydream about them and you'll crave them, you'll want them. And you always think to yourself, like, will it ever happen? Like, will that day ever come? But it is coming. It's coming and it is here.
C
Bella era Bri. Bella era Bella Army. Like you said, we are making history in our own world for sure.
B
So how do you feel right now?
C
You know, I feel. I feel a lot of things being here for the past year, I've gotten to know how these women in this era work and I have learned and have understood the incredible competition it is in this era on both these shows. So, you know, that puts a lot of pressure on of all of a sudden getting a title match so quickly. It creates a lot of nerves. You know, it also has made my head just spin. I mean, I was telling you earlier today when we were on a power walk, like, I haven't been sleeping the past few nights because I wake up like right at 3am 3. It's us usually at 3 or 3:30. And I'm just like thinking of all these things and, and thinking of things. Okay, this is how we could take them out. Because I mean also Nia, Jax, Lush Legend are no joke. I mean, strong tag team. But you and I are built in tag team. We are a tag team that was born together and it. It's incredible. And so like my mind's been racing and I'm thinking of all these things and how to be like as prepared as possible is going in. So it's been a lot of emotions, but incredible emotions for sure.
B
I mean, there is a difference between when you see mental strength and physical strength, but both are very powerful.
C
Powerful and.
B
And chemistry, you know, is a powerful thing. Alignment. And there's something. We've been together since the wound.
C
I know.
B
Since we were tiny little embryos. But I will say I won't forget last Legend taking us both out in the Royal Rumble.
C
And then how about what else? I mean, you saw what they did to your sister at the end.
B
No, I know. I was gonna, so. But what? I'm still feeling that. Yeah. So last Legend taking us both out at the Royal Rumble, I felt her strength. Oh, so I understand, like one her on her own. She can lift both you and I up. I know. With one little incredibly strong. Yeah. So, you know, we have a lot of work cut out for us this Friday. But I'm excited for it, and I feel like we were born for these moments.
C
We were. Well, you know, during Women's History Month, the one thing that has stood out to me so far with these incredible interviews is everyone talking about preparation. So when that opportunity comes to you, you're ready no matter what. So whether it's this Friday, WrestleMania, another year from now, our preparation has led us to this. And this couldn't have been. I mean, I'm almost thinking, like, there's so many different people, I feel like that have been manifesting for us. But it's crazy how much we've heard this in all these past interviews from all these women. And it's happening to us, like, literally, oh, in a week, you're gonna have a title match in a week. And we're not in Orlando, Florida, at the training center. Thank goodness we have our own ring. And you and I've been training every day and doing our own thing. But we're moms, we're entrepreneurs. We have a lot going on in life. But how incredible that this is what they're talking about. Our preparation will help us win tomorrow night because we want to win, right? I have a question for you, Bri. When you look at us right now, we're chasing the titles, right? You came back to join me, and that is for this one purpose, is we want those tag titles. Do you think we are fighting for something bigger?
B
I mean, of course. I feel like when, you know, this is the thing. I know I don't have a lot of miles left in me when it comes to the wrestling industry. Like, we always want, want it, but, you know, you have to be realistic, too, with your age and your physical body and. And also just life, like being a mom and running, you know, a business, it's. There's just so many factors. But I feel like, for me, like, doing this, I've always. I've always, always, always have wanted to fight for tag titles with you. And, I mean, even when you showed me that video you saw on Twitter of a saying it so long ago, I'm like, oh, my gosh. I mean, we'd say it all the time, but we never in a million years actually thought they would bring a women's tag title. And the tag title isn't brand new. It's been there for a while. It's just. That's how long I've been out. But I actually, there was times I never thought we'd ever get the opportunity to really fight for them and opportunities, you know, in the wrestling business, they're not. They don't always come around. It's once in a very blue moon.
C
I agree.
B
You know what I mean? And so the fact that this opportunity is here, it's like, yes, I can say. Like, it's been on. It's been a bucket list moment for me to be like, oh, I get to fight for the tag titles. Like, I've always wanted to. But even bigger than that, I think to myself, like, my kids, for so long, they don't look at me as a wrestler. They don't even think I'm a wrestler. Like, they were shocked when they saw that I was in the Royal Rumble. Yeah, buddy. Like, was like, how did my mom get put in the Royal Rumble? As if I won the lottery ticket. I mean, I think the kid was, like, was shocked.
C
That actually needs to be the next kid's book, honestly. I think my mom gets a lottery ticket to go enter the Royal Rumble.
B
And I think he honestly thought I should have ran out there in my PJs.
C
Yeah, of course.
B
Like, he couldn't believe I got gear. Like, he's like, looking like, what is this lady? Like, she got lucky because he one thinks his dad is the wrestler. Yeah. Then Dodo. But not Mommy. No, of course not. So this is, like, bigger for me
C
too, because, by the way, Mato, I feel like is already kind of like that with you versus me. He wants to cheer you on. He. He's even said, auntie Breezy, yay, wrestler for me. Absolutely not.
B
Yeah. And so that just might be like a kid with their mom thing, but protective.
C
The boys are protective.
B
But, like, it's interesting because I very much feel like I'm doing this a lot for them, I think. You know, we've talked so much on this podcast for years and years and years saying that fine balance of being a mom, but also being the person you were before. Yes. And trying to balance that out and find, you know, like, who was Bri before children. But there's also this beauty to Bri as a mom and who Bri is after, you know, having kids. So I feel like this is that full circle moment where I'm. Yes, I'm Bri, who has chickens and loves to garden and does, like, grandma stuff. But there's the Bri wrestler. There's Bri Mode. And then my kids look at me now as, like, a superhero, which is so cool. So, yeah, it's bigger in the sense of, like, I can't believe I'm fighting for the title this Friday with You like, it gets me, like butterflies in my tummy right now thinking about it. But also when I think that my kids are going to be watching on television, that makes it bigger. What about you?
C
So, well, real quick, because I have one more question that kind of goes into that. Well, not one more. I have quite a few. So would that also be the reason or is there another on why stepping back into the ring was something that is so demanding and risky?
B
I mean, it's actually so funny you asked me that because I was on a walk with my mom friends yesterday. Yeah. And they all were like, I mean, aren't you scared you're gonna get hurt? Like, doesn't it hurt? Like, at our age, don't we try to prevent injury and like, feeling like. And I go, it's different. For me, it's wrestling. When I get into that ring and I'm rolling around with you, with Brian in this training, I love it. Like, we thrive on it. I think that's the athlete in me. I mean, at such young ages, soccer was our life. Training all week, soccer tournaments, I swear, every weekend, traveling the US we thrived on being physically active. And then, you know, with pro wrestling, you put in that character component, that storytelling. It just feels like playtime. Granted, do I wake up the next morning and I can't, like, move my neck and I'm looking around like crazy and I like my sciatic nerve. Like, I just like, sit here and I'm like, ah, shoot. Like, of course. And those suck. But I know it's not forever, I guess. I know the light at the end of the tunnel. I know how long I have to actually really do this till I'll never do it again.
A
Yeah.
B
And I think I thrive on that totally. I mean, don't you?
C
Beyond. I mean, you know, for me, I'm such a person and I've. I've been this way my entire life. I like to be an accomplished person and I like to accomplish goals or I like to have accomplishments. I'm kind of like a soldier that has, you know, the medals on your jacket of different things you have succeeded at or have accomplished and been honored for. And I was very much. I have very much have had that mindset since I've been young. Like when I was on the soccer field, like when I knew there was like a chance to win MVP or first team, all state, first team, all region. I very much always had that in my head. Like, I wanted those things. And that was like, in high school to be that. And then I remember in college, like, for me in sports, it was, like, about winning something. It wasn't just about winning the game. It was like, no, we have to win all these games to make it to the championship. Then we got to win the championship, and then we're going to go to the regionals, and then we have nationals. And even in track, I was that way. Like, I've always had that mindset. Like, I wanted the ribbon. I wasn't just gonna go do kickball for fun. I wanted the ribbon. And I'm gonna get the ribbon in elementary school. And if I'm playing Pogs, I'm gonna take your Pogs. Like, I'm playing.
B
Dang. You went all the way to Pogs, Brie.
C
I went all the way to Pogs. You don't show up with a Tasmanian Devil Slammer, do you? Ain't getting stuff.
B
I swear here soon. Pogs are coming back.
C
I loved Pogs, don't you? I mean, you remember how much I love Pogs, and my Tasmanian Devil Slammer was the best. But anyway.
B
And then you remember they got banned from school because I think teachers were so tired of everyone being on the sidewalks, like, slamming.
C
We should have been out playing. Now we started slamming on Pogs. But so for me, this title match tomorrow night on the USA Network and WrestleMania, it's. It is so much bigger to me. Winning the tag titles, having a tag team championship match, chasing the titles, just chasing titles alone. It's so much bigger because I look at where you and I started before we signed our contracts at wwe. I remember our journey to Tampa, Florida. I remember us being at night school with Steve Kern, Dr. Tom Pritchard. I. I remember our journey. Dusty Rhodes, I remember so much. And I remember what we've always wanted. And we started it together. Our first wrestling match ever. We weren't in singles, we were in a tag team. Yeah, Natty and Alicia Fox. That was our first match ever. And I remember all those things and one thing that we never accomplished for being, like you said, attacking from the womb. But even beyond that, in this profession, we never won what actually makes Tag Attack Team a champion. And so for me, that is an accomplishment that I really want. And I feel so lucky and fortunate that I am still at the age of. My body's in such incredible shape that I can actually go back and fight for that. And then what makes it even bigger, like you said, is not only in my mind is like, this is like the final thing. So when I'm like 60, 70, 80, hopefully 90s, sitting with Briana. Porch, wine tasting, wine making. Like we could. Girl, we did that.
B
You know what I mean?
C
We did evolution. We did this. Tag team champs. Like, I need that. That's how my mind works. Like, that's accomplishment. But dang to do it. As moms, nothing is better that our chill. You and I talked about it when the boys were born. I didn't know if we'd make it. Remember, I always said. What did I always say when the boys are five, Remember? I'd always say five, actually. Yeah, I'd always say five.
B
Right.
C
When you think about that, I was manifesting that since the boys have been babies and you were like five. Oh, yeah, right.
B
That seems so far away.
C
Seems so far away. And look at their five and a half. Oh, my gosh, girl, I'm telling you. Yeah, it's interesting, right?
B
It is. And it's.
C
And that's what makes it so bigger. So much bigger for me. Worth the risk. I mean, and I go in there with a neck injury, I make people, I think, forget about the neck injury.
B
No.
C
I know everyone's freaking out on X.
B
When I was watching Smackdown back last week because I always like to watch back and nitpick at myself, but I was like, your neck. I literally, I'm like, mom must have been dying at home watching.
C
Oh, and my Bella army, because my Bella army cares for me and loves me so much.
B
I'm like, girl, you got that hardware in there.
C
You know what I mean? But so I'm so tough and I have so many angels around me and I'm very safe.
B
Yeah.

Hey, everyone, when you're doing it all, you need all the electrolytes.
C
I mean, whether that's 7am Pilates class to be hydrated for. I know for us, we have power lifting in the mornings after school drop off. There's a lot to be hydrated for.
B
Being a mom. Take my kids to school, making them breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Hydration.
C
And let's be honest, what you need is you need Gatorade, which hydrates better than water itself.
B

B
New to the fridge, all the Gatorade electrolytes you love.
C
Try Gatorade lower sugar today.
B
Well, and this is the one thing I'll say, we get thrown in the fire a lot, girl. You guys, I don't understand.
C
A lot of people who've had returns have not been thrown in the fire. One like me. Yeah, because of what? My year. Oh, you're gonna have singles match tonight. Wait, excuse me. I haven't even like, done this yet, but look at how much I grew this past year by just being thrown in the fire.
B
Yeah, but what I was going to say is when you're thrown in the fire, you can become a rising phoenix.
C
You become a phoenix and it gives you grit. And it gives you grit at any age. Like, this is my. One thing that sometimes we can miss is the heart of things. And when people are thrown in the fire, they're fighting with heart. They're not fighting with a bunch of moves they just learned. And it's like I'm watching like something that go here, here. Do you know what I mean? I'm watching heart and guess what? Sometimes heart doesn't look the best. It's not the most crisp. It's not going to be the cleanest. But I'm seeing a fight. I'm seeing someone fight for something. And that to me inspires me. And. And the one thing that I love when I see all different kinds of wrestlers is people are inspired by all different kinds of people. You and I inspired a generation, and we're still inspiring a generation that is very different than what Rhea Ripley inspires, or maybe Charlotte inspires, or Lash Legend inspires, or Chelsea Green inspires. Or we all inspire different kinds of people in different ways because they connect with us.
B
Yeah.
C
No one's all the same. No one's going to be tall with muscles, and no one's going to be smaller like Alexa with, you know, her traits. And so we all bring all these different people together, and we inspire. And the one thing about us that you can never deny it, it's our heart. Like, and we get thrown in the fire. We can get hit with hate. We can be told the nose. But that's always what has made you and I who we are and fight and break barriers and, like, kick that glass ceiling because. Because of that, rise up like the Phoenix. We're gonna shoot through my heart to you, to people might not look perfect. And Chris, make people go, what is she doing? But, hey, I will fight.
B
I'll go.
C
I'll go out in front of thousands of people, millions of viewers, live. Sure, I'll do it. Because it's still in here. And that's why I was like, yeah, give us tag team title, championship match. Hell, yeah, let's do this. We could do it. You were scrappy your whole life. Like, we. We have it in us. And. And that. There's nothing more fun to watch than that. Like, you know, times that I've watched, like, AJ Styles and. And I'll think of some girls, but he's, like, the first that pops to my head of, like, when you watch people with heart, like, there's just some.
B
There's a lot of people.
C
No, a ton of people. I'm saying he's my first. You know, when I, like. I'm like, I just see someone that, I don't know anyway.
B
Sings to you.
C
He sings to me. But there's nothing we, like, over the years, you've always had that. And I love watching people fight with their heart on their sleeve, where I'm like, damn, that. That might be tough, but, you know, it's incredible.
B
Right. Well. And we've been lucky enough to be surrounded by such incredible women, which is, you know, means everything, especially for someone like me, who's been out of it for so long. And I come back and I'm like, wow. Just generous, you know, incredible women, which has been so fun.
C
So fun.
B
But what's, like, the one thing you want to get out of all of
C
this, like, this whole run? Yeah.
B
And I'm not saying that you hope
C
that you win the.
B
The titles everyone wants to win.
C
The titles, I mean, 100. This is what I, I would love.
B
Right?
C
Let's go back to the vision board because we have to go there a lot. You and I always have to visualize everything. For me, I don't think you and I will ever get that last retirement moment that like John got and AJ Styles got. Let's be honest, the men get right. I don't think you and I will ever get that. But I would love to have that because I do know that you know the contract that we signed, you know, we signed a two year deal starting Royal Rumble and for you and I, the talks we've had and what I know just where I'm at, that's it. That will be the end for me and for us. And I would love to like when I, when I. Because I need the buttons on things, right. I would love to have them. I would love to put my kicks, my snap back, my jersey right in the middle of that ring and just, you know, give that final bow. So I don't know if we'll ever get that. I don't think we will, but. Is that what you were?
B
Yeah. I mean, that's what you want out of this all? Yeah.
C
Well, I just want to have the such a great, iconic final run, a final run that you and I look back on and we're so proud of. I want to, I want the Bella army to be stronger than ever. And you see them, they're still there, they're so strong. And it's been so fun seeing new Bella army, old Bella Army, Bella army that's had kids now that have showing up and they're now Bella Army. And I just want to have this, like, I want to have some of my best matches. I want to have a lot of fun, but I want to have like an iconic moment where it's like I could look back and go, damn, that was a great two years for sure, we did it. I don't want to, I don't want to walk away with any what ifs. I don't want to wake if I only did or. I don't want any of that. I want to look back at these past two, the two years that we're about to create and be like, damn, girl, for sure we did it.
B
I mean, I, for me, it's like, I just think, you know, when I first had my babies, I'm not the girl that's, you know, people thought I snapped back quick. I didn't. I'm not the girl who I like, got into incredible Shape right after I had babies. Hell no. I needed years because I'm a sleeper. So my. My sleeping sacrifice for my babies. It meant, like, I wanted to be lazy with my babies. I wanted to take naps with them during the day. I was a snacker because the snacking helped my energy going. I didn't want to rush to the gym all the time. I wasn't, you know, working out like I used to. I needed those years to grow with my children, to finally when they were like, really? Buddy, when he started to go to school full time is when I all of a sudden was like, now I can concentrate on me totally. Now that he's in a full day of school, now I can really start hitting the gym. And I feel like now I'm in the best shape I've been in since before kids.
C
Yeah.
B
And it's, you know, because finally kids are in school and I get to concentrate on myself. And it's been a lot because I went.
C
I mean, you got lifting them heavy weights.
B
Between lifting and then I was doing boxing. And then, you know, I still love my running and my different cardio stuff. And then Nikki with, you know, all the stuff, and then now, you know, with wrestling. But I've never pushed myself this hard.
C
And it's so funny. I still get to.
B
I'm so grateful.
C
Does it make life?
B
I'm so grateful.
C
So grateful. Because as we know, health is everything.
B
Everything. But I also want, like, you know, moms out there to know I was a person who felt zero pressure. And I should have because I was on television and had a big platform. But I did not want to get in shape right away after having babies. I was like, I need to give myself grace. I gave myself. I was healthy. Well, and let's all know, I was not going to give up any alcohol anytime I went to a trainer, like, well, first thing, let's give up. And I'm like, oh, don't tell me my wine. Wine ain't going nowhere. No. Do you know what I mean?
C
Oh, yeah.
B
Maybe for dry. Jan and I still never make it,
C
but never make it.
B
We're not saying, like, because if it's
C
a gorgeous day in Apple Valley, guess what?
B
I ain't a Gen Z. I ain't part of the, you know, sober, curious.
C
I'm not curious about any of that.
B
I get a little curious the first two weeks of January, and that's about it.
C
I just love it because my neighbor the other day was like, so if lemons drop in my yard, does that mean I Get them. And I'm like, oh, my gosh, do I need to trim the tree? They're like, no. We're out here having our nice tequila drinks for. We want fresh lemon.
B
I'm like, you my people.
C
You're my people. You pick off my lemon tree anytime you want.
B
Yeah.

Again, you all better tune in USA Network. We have not tagged since, you know, before evolution when we turned on Rhonda and then we had a few, you know, tag matches. But, you know, my question is, us being twins, do you think that gives us an edge that no other team will ever understand?
B
I mean, this is the thing people are always asking us, what is it like being a twin are always blown away when they speak to Nikki and I. We finish each other's sentences. We do weird twin things like this. And this goes with sisters too. But then you take twins, like, to the next level. We have always been in sync our whole lives. Like, I mean, even mom, like, it would trip her out when we were in kindergarten. I mean, we have stories from since we were babies of how in sync we always were.
C
Yeah.
B
And you can't ever break that. I think of, you know, you hear some of the when you're I'm a history nerd. So when you think of some of the greatest warriors of, you know, hundreds and thousands of years ago, usually were brothers, right? Or sisters. Like, there was always this bond, but I feel like it's that alignment, that unity, and. And I feel like you can't teach it. No, we have it.
C
We do.
B
And we'll always have that. And so. And that's why people are always like, you guys have built this huge brand. How? Well, I think because we always knew how to help each other without even saying it. Yeah. Like, we're just like, we don't have to say anything. We can read each other's minds. We literally can. And we are constantly helping each other. And so that goes for the in ring stuff, too. So there's always stuff I know, like when I'm tagging with you. Well, one, it's so easy. Like, if I got had a tag with someone else, I would feel, like, a little more stressed because I feel like, okay, I gotta understand them or I need to learn them, but with you, it's different. It's like our bodies just do it.
C
Yes. I mean, I. I completely agree with you. And even through eye contact, we know when one needs help, when we know how to read each other.
B
Oh, yeah.
C
Oh, girl.
B
Blown up here.
C
You know, tag I'm out or something going wrong or just, like, get me, like, I need your help.
B
Right.
C
And that's what. When we talk about preparation and being ready when the opportunity hits, that is something that makes us different than every single tag team. Even if you've been tag team for a few years, I don't care. You can't compare to identical twins. You just can't. Yeah, can't, right? Do you feel, Bree, that we have something to prove? Or do you feel like the world has something to remember?
B
I guess both. One, we do. I feel like we have something to prove. Sometimes an industry can go past you and you have to really try to catch up with it. And, you know, being a big fan of what the women have been doing the last five years, and even, you know, more. But really, the last five years, I'll admit, like, when I even got the call, I thought to myself, like. Like, am I right for it? Like, can I keep up? Because I'm not gonna dumb down what these girls are doing. I mean, they're doing incredible things. And, you know, I'm in no denial of what you know. I know what I'm great at, and I know also what I'm weak at. So I'm I'm not. I have zero ego. Zero. Like, that's why when haters come at me, I'm like, you guys are coming at someone who zero ego. Ego. I don't care. So, you know, I think we for sure have to prove ourselves that we can hang in this era. This era is no joke. But I don't. I think people sometimes underestimate us. And I think, you know, different opportunities we've been given, we've been held back a little bit. And I say that in a nice way. Not like there was anything mean. It was just. There was different things asked of us. And that's why you can't get mad at, like, some of the women in the past. They were asked to do certain things, so they did it. And that was just what people wanted back then. You know, it was different times and that. Different. It was just different. And that's what's so beautiful about evolving. Like, industries evolving, people evolving, everything evolving. I mean, even the way we raise our children is different. Everyone's evolving. Yes. Some in the, you know, some of our leaders in the wrong way. But overall us, we're all doing good. But I feel like something to be remembered, what the world wants to remember is what we did bring. And I think, you know, I see a lot of people very excited that we are back together. Tagging, because they haven't had that in a while because one was pregnant, one had a neck injury, another pregnancy. Like, you know what I mean? Like, we were kind of always. We weren't actually. There was one time we weren't in line was with all those things. So there was a big chunk of our 30s where we had evolution. Exactly. But. Oh, I mean, there was a lot going on in my life at that time, but where we just weren't aligned.
C
Yeah.
B
Like, we weren't aligned. And now we are, like, we are really in sync now. Very. I mean, to the point, like, people will see us at grocery stores and they don't even know who's who.
C
Totally.
B
And I'm like, really? But, like, that's how in sync we are right now. Yeah.
C
So I know people on X are like, think I should dye my hair back black now. This is half and half. Bella army have been debating because of how in sync we are. They're like, if Nikki was to dye
B
your hair, we could do Twin Magic.
C
Yeah. No, I love my light hair.
B
I know. But if we want to do Twin Magic.
C
But we are in full alignment.
B
We are. And so I feel like what the world is excited is that they're remembering before we retired before, like they're remembering that time with total Bellas and total divas. Those Bella Twins, they're seeing that right now. And I think they're all excited about that.
C
I agree. And the world saw us built. What is now. And now it's our time to own it.
B
Oh, okay. You know what I mean?
C
All right, so tomorrow night, Bri, we gotta own it. So if we win those titles tomorrow night, what does that mean for our legacy?
B
If we win those titles tomorrow night? It's a full circle for that. I was just gonna say it's a full circle for the Bella Twins. It's when we first debuted before the social medias and everything, where we gotta legit do twin magic to the locker room every week for almost four months. It's those 23 year old girls to now that signed and we're so excited. And all the things to us evolving, going through all these different stages of what was wanted from the women's division and all the change we saw and how we evolved with it, like we never let it get ahead of us. We always caught up.
A
Right.
B
And we stayed right there. And I think it just shows one, you can if you have the will.
C
Yep.
B
And you have the drive.
C
Yeah.
B
And so us winning, it shows that you have those things. You're capable of anything.
A
Right.
B
And a full circle moment. I feel like a lot of people are rooting for us to win those because it's something like they almost felt like was made for the Bella twins. Yeah.
C
I agree. And it's totally full circle. And to think that, you know, we're pioneers in this industry before the ERA was where it's at right now, before it had real depth and honestly was thriving in the way we see it now, where women's wrestling is just top of its game. So I feel it's like we accomplished this. It's our legacy truly finally taking its. Its proper place.
B
Right.
C
And you can't move that.
B
No.
C
Everything it's built and out comes to conquer. That's where legacy sits and is like for sure, you know, And I think
B
the biggest thing is that, you know, sometimes people have a misconception of like only a couple women pave the road. But it's so many women and it's so many little ripple effects that create these big waves that have created the division to be where it's at. So, I mean, women's names that people don't even talk about from back in the day that helped pave the road.
C
Oh, so many.
B
And I think the greatest thing all of us women are going to see and fans is this WrestleMania and they haven't announced all the matches. I feel like being a fan, watching and seeing how the last years has just played out. We're gonna have the most women's matches that WrestleMania has ever seen.
C
And look, we're just like you guys who are on X and Instagram guessing, just like.
B
Yeah, we're not confusing anything. This is us, like, guessing. So please don't make it a headline that we confirmed it so we get more heat.
C
But. I know, but. And this is what a lot of us superstars do every week, because we don't know anything.
B
We're like all the fans.
C
Yeah.
B
Let me tell you guys.
C
But I. I feel the same as you.
B
Like, I just don't see how you don't.
C
I know.
B
I just don't. Don't see.
C
There's too many great stories that can have. And a beautiful button at the end at WrestleMania great. Plus, it makes. How do we top last year's WrestleMania? This is how we top last year's WrestleMania. You're going to. You do six incredible women matches. Three each day. You're making history again. You're. And women, they're drawing. They are. They are.
B
And this is what I'm going to say. And I'm. This comes from a sincere place in my heart. It's why you should go to WrestleMania, why you should buy a ticket and go. Because I do think it's going to be a historical moment. I think it's a weekend. I think it's going to be a historical weekend where you're going to see the most women on the cards. I might be wrong. And then if I'm wrong, I'm sorry. I think you're still going to enjoy it. But, like, I honestly think if I was a fan and I had a family, this would probably be the WrestleMania I'd want. This would be the WrestleMania I'd want to take my family to Vegas.
C
Is so fun.
B
And by the way, so Nikki and I, because we're in this, all of our, like, friends, family, celebrity friends, everyone is like, hit us up. And they're like, dude, we're coming. Like, what night? Like, are you guys in it? What night are you, like, can't wait to find out. And I'm just like, make. Just make the whole weekend WrestleMania, like, whether we're in it or not, whether. No matter what the bell is always make a present somewhere, anywhere. Like, you know, But I'm like. And we have our, you know, signings and all the fun things, but, you know, I'm like, this is gonna be the one. Like, come. You guys are gonna love it. And so I just feel like. I don't know. I just have it, this feeling inside. And I don't know everyone. I really don't. I get told nothing. I mean, literally, I get told nothing. So I. This is me guessing, but I just like all of you. I watch and I'm like, there's no way. They. They don't. So I feel like, get your tickets.
C
It's gonna be a good one. It's gonna be a good one for tomorrow night. Bri, what scares you the most?
B
I mean, I guess, like, any performer, you don't perform the way you want. I think that scares anyone who's about to go onto a stage, whether you're a pro wrestler, Broadway star, whatever. An actor, a singer, even a soccer player who's gonna go out and, you know, go for the World cup championship.
C
Yeah.
B
You know, I think your biggest fear is that you're off.
C
Yeah.
B
I feel like in my heart I won't be. But, you know, that's always. I think, why we all wake up in the middle of the night and think it's that, like, hour in the night where you're like, why do I always think of the darkest, weirdest at this time?
C
Oh, I know.
B
I don't know. What's your biggest fear?
C
Yeah, pretty much yours. Always. I think that's any of us. Right?
B
So. Yeah.
C
And I just know it's going to be, no matter what, a great starting point, whether we walk out as champs or, hey, if we end up losing, guess what? We know where we need to go because we will get opportunities again and again. We're going to fight for that, right? We're not just here for that one opportunity. Tomorrow night. We're gonna keep going. Hey, to walk out would be incredible.
B
Yeah.
C
Would love it.
B
I'm gonna say this. I'm gonna make sure I have a lot of fun. Because you don't know, like, listen, Nikki and I lose, they might not call us back. They might, like, be like, we'll let you guys know, like, when we'll need you next. So anytime I walk out that on that ramp, I'm like, I gotta have fun. Because you don't know when it's the last time. Right? Like, it's like when they say, you don't know, like, when it's the last time you hold your kid.
C
Yeah.
B
You know, all those little things, like, Buddy. He recently just stopped, like doing this thing with his toothbrush when I'd brush his teeth. And even though it bugged me, it also. I. I made sure to in like, enjoy every moment of it, even though it was frustrating, especially if I was tired. And he doesn't do it at all. And he actually doesn't. Like, he just stopped doing it. He's like, what did I do? And I'm like, no, you're playing. Yeah, I'm like, you like just stopped doing it. And you did it for like a year straight. So, you know, you just. Every moment I have to indulge in and really just enjoy.
C
You do.
B
Because you just never know it's your last. So I want to walk. Every time I walk out, I'm just gonna be that. Just taking it all in.
C
Yeah.
B
No matter what it is. Because, you know, you never know when it's your last.
C
Yeah. I agree.
D
Critics and audiences agree.
C

How do you want the Bella twins to be remembered?
B
I mean, I feel like, you know, it's nothing too deep. It more. I just want you to remember that
C
we're so opposite in that way.
B
I know. Well, I. In the sense of just like you watched these women grow up. You literally did. Whether it was on reality TV or on the wrestling screens. You saw us as young girls turn into women, but you saw us evolve like you saw us lose ourselves at times. But then find ourselves. And so what I'm really saying is, you saw us never give up. And I just want people to always remember the Bella twins as inspiration. Like, they inspired me to keep going. They inspired. Inspired me to get to the gym and work hard. They inspired me to, like, no, actually, I'm not okay with that.
C
Yeah, they unapologetically are.
B
Yes. Like, they. They also. One thing we get from everyone is we love to have fun. Yeah. I'm not bitter. I'm not an angry person. I love to have fun. And I'm, like, the first person who's sprinting to the lobby bar, getting some bubbles, and I want everyone else to be right there with me so we can laugh and have fun and make memories, because life is fun. I don't need to be stressed. I don't. I mean, we are stressed with a lot of. But I mean, as in, like, don't make more stress for yourself. So at the. I just want people, when they think of the Bell twins, they're just inspired to enjoy life. Take every opportunity you can. Opportunity is not easy, so you got to work hard to go get it, because it comes. Rarely comes. So when it does, be prepared. And. Yeah, that's what.
C
Let's find the beauty in it all.
B
Yeah.
C
Competition, life, love, family.
B
I don't need to be. Yeah. I don't need to be known as, like, the person who changed it all. No, I don't care. I just want to be known as, like, the positive, lovely part of it all, the happy part of it all, the part that made you smile. You know what I mean? Yeah, that's it. What about you? How deep do you want to go? Because you said, girl, we're the opposite.
C
Well, gosh, it's actually here. I asked you it, and then I was thinking in my head, like, that's a really hard answer. That's something. I almost want to sit down and journal. But you should. Obviously, for sure, like, more than anything is inspiration, purpose, evolution. I, you know, want to be remembered. Want us to be remembered for our grit, our passion, how we truly took no no for an answer. We made every no into a yes. Being fighters, but staying good people, I think that's so important that when you are fighting for what you want to achieve, you stay a really good person. You put God first, then your family. We've always been about that. We've sacrificed things to make sure that, you know, where I've seen people are in the street do the opposite in entertainment, I mean, and just truly inspiring. Just the Younger generation, our generation of people knowing, like, knowing their worth. I think that's the one, you know, thing I'd love to, you know, for us to be remembered is like, they knew their worth, and I want to know. I, I. I know mine, and this is my boundaries, and this is what I'm gonna fight for. And also not being victims, that even when bad things happen to us, how do we overcome it? Not just live the rest of my life in, like, a place of victimhood. Because both of our stories and when you read our memoir, you know that, you know, we had to fight hard to not be those people with the things that happened to us, that we overcame that. And this is where we became so all that different type of stuff. Yeah. I could get.
B
I could get real deep a lot of things. No, but it's good.
C
But, you know, it's. Yeah. So it's the inspiration and grit and value and love and the things that we put first in life, for sure. Because we do. We see so much beauty in life. We drive around and we'll be like, look at the vineyards. Look at the flowers. Look at the clouds in the sky, the sunset.
B
Yeah.
C
We'll be driving into the building, wherever we're at, and it's like, you know, we'll be going to Raleigh, and we're gonna see. Look at that beautiful thing. You and I are just those people, right? We see the beauty in everything and in everyone for sure. And I want to be remembered for that, too. There's so much beauty all around us. Even when you pop those bubbles, and I see the bubbles. Oh, the little smoke come from the champagne bottle.
B
Oh, my goodness.
C
All right, Bri, well, take us in with some inspiration, affirmation.
B
You know, I saw this quote on Pinterest, and I thought, oh, how perfect for a title match tomorrow. It's actually, I guess Alex and Ani put this out here. That's that, like, bracelet line, right? Yeah, but it's this. The timing isn't always right, but eventually destiny steps in. All you need is patience, and I'm
C
like, boom, boom, destiny, tomorrow night.
B
Do you know what I mean? And this is my thing, is that it's so true about timing. Like, you know, I told all of you, you guys knew I was pushing to come back for a little bit, and I kept hearing no. And, you know, I. I honestly believe timing wasn't right. It wasn't the reason, the purpose. And, you know, and I was fine with it. It's like I was still living my life. I'm, you know, and with that patience, here came the right time at the Royal Rumble in front of Saudi Arabia. And to now I get to be with my twin sister. The Bell Twins are back. We're fighting for the tag titles, and tomorrow night we get our title match.
C
Yeah, if I would have come back
B
three months earlier, maybe that wouldn't have happened.
C
No.
B
Wouldn't have made sense. So how hard it is for us to have the patience. I believe, like, time is on our side. Destiny, you can't, you know, rewrite or do it. It just will come.
C
She shows up, and there it is.
B
There it is.
C
So there it is. And so it is.
B
Tomorrow night, that's.
C
Yeah. Everyone please tune in to watch Brie and I fight for the tag team championships. I can't even believe I'm saying that. In 2026. What a beautiful time. It's on the USA Network, 8pm Eastern Live Show, Friday night Smackdown. So please tune in tomorrow night, support us, show us love socially as well. You know, we love our Bella army and. You're gonna love it, and you will definitely have a lot of Bella stuff going on. We're at WWE World, even though we just sold out again yesterday. Yep.
B
Oh, I keep wanting to promote, but. That's good.
C
You're good, girl. I'm awful.
B
It's.
C
Everything's all sold out and done. Oh, good. But there's a lot of fun stuff going on, and you could drink a lot of bonita, Bonita in Las Vegas. It is everywhere.
B
And if you see Nikki and I, join us for a glass.
C
Seriously, come. Come join us. But honestly, it's going to be a great week. So start with your support and love tomorrow night and then come join us in Las Vegas. I can't believe it's like, four weeks away.

Five. All right, everyone.

Episode: Making HERstory: Chasing the Women's Tag Team Championships!
Date: March 19, 2026
Podcast Host: SiriusXM
On this special Women's History Month episode, Nikki and Brie Garcia (formerly the Bella Twins) turn the focus on themselves, sharing their excitement and nerves as they prepare to challenge for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships for the first time ever. The sisters reflect on their journey, legacy, motherhood, evolving with the wrestling industry, and the significance of this latest milestone—both personally and for the women's division. The conversation is warm, authentic, motivational, and as always, brimming with sisterly chemistry.
Note: Ads and non-content segments have been omitted.
[01:30] For the first time, Nikki and Brie are going for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships—something they've never done, despite their long careers.
The match is set for this Friday on Smackdown, USA Network.
They express amazement at the rapid series of events:
[03:11] Nikki shares her nervousness and excitement, noting the fierce competition in today's women's division and the unique bond they share as twins.
They talk about:
“We've been together since the womb. Since we were tiny little embryos.” — Brie [04:32]
Lash Legend and Nia Jax stand out as physically intimidating opponents, referencing how Lash eliminated them both at the Royal Rumble [04:33].
The sisters credit years of preparation and hard work as the foundation for seizing sudden opportunities—a theme resonating through Women's History Month interviews.
[06:35] Brie reflects on her limited time left in the business and her “bucket list” wish to challenge for the tag titles with Nikki.
Motivated by her children:
“My kids… don't look at me as a wrestler. They don't even think I'm a wrestler. Like, they were shocked when they saw that I was in the Royal Rumble.” — Brie [07:57]
Nikki jokes about writing a kids’ book: “My mom gets a lottery ticket to go enter the Royal Rumble.” [08:13]
The challenge of balancing motherhood and identity as a performer [08:55].
The pair discuss the physical demands and injury risks of wrestling at this stage—especially balancing motherhood and age.
“At our age, don’t we try to prevent injury?... But when I get into that ring… I love it. Like, we thrive on it.” — Brie [10:22]
“For me... I like to be an accomplished person. I’ve always had that mindset... Even as kids: I wanted the ribbon, I wasn’t just gonna go do kickball for fun.” — Nikki [11:33]
Nostalgia around their competitive spirit, referencing their childhood and journey through developmental wrestling:
“Our first wrestling match ever… we were in a tag team. Natty and Alicia Fox. That was our first match ever.” — Nikki [13:16]
The Tag Team Championships represent the “final accomplishment” for their careers.
The desire for a proper “final run” as a full-circle moment.
The realities of getting back into shape post-childbirth and prioritizing self-care without losing joy.
“I was a snacker because the snacking helped my energy going. I didn’t want to rush to the gym all the time. I wasn’t… working out like I used to. I needed those years to grow with my children...” — Brie [23:51]
“I want, like, you know, moms out there to know: I was a person who felt zero pressure… I needed to give myself grace.” — Brie [25:22]
Relatable humor about “not giving up wine” and not snapping back quickly after babies [25:22–26:06].
[27:51] The in-ring advantage of being identical twins: innate communication, in-sync reactions, and a bond unlike any other team.
“We have always been in sync our whole lives. Like, I mean, even mom, like, it would trip her out when we were in kindergarten... I feel like you can't teach it. No, we have it.” — Brie [28:12]
Discussing “Twin Magic” and legendary in-ring tricks tied to their twinship [33:16].
The idea of bringing new energy and nostalgia for fans, who remember them at their Total Divas/Total Bellas peak [33:37].
[30:33] Brie addresses outsiders’ doubts about their relevance in today's era of women’s wrestling.
Speaking to feeling held back in earlier years by era-specific limits, and acknowledging the evolution within WWE.
[34:13] What would winning the Women’s Tag Team Championship mean?
Nikki and Brie stress the importance of recognizing all the women—past and present—who’ve contributed to the “ripple effect” of progress in women’s wrestling [36:01].
Both discuss the potential for a historic number of women’s matches at the upcoming WrestleMania in Las Vegas and encourage listeners to attend [37:39].
“Any performer, you don’t perform the way you want. I think that scares anyone who’s about to go onto a stage.” — Brie [39:15]
Despite nerves, they're determined to “have fun,” savor each appearance, and recognize that any moment could be their last in-ring opportunity.
“The timing isn't always right, but eventually destiny steps in. All you need is patience.” — Brie [47:37]
