Nikki & Brie are fresh off a big night in Hollywood with some big names celebrating their love for the planet at the EMA Awards Show! It was an eye-opening event for Nikki, who learned a lot about the Environmental Media Association, climate change, and walked away inspired. Brie’s been involved with EMA for years and wants to bring their messaging and level of activism to the world of professional wrestling. Change can be hard, change can be uncomfortable, but the Twins realize that in order to protect what you love, you need to take action. The state of the Amazon Rainforest is what made Nikki want to get more involved. That and Brie’s speech on stage at the awards, going off script and offering bodyslams to everyone in the room. Brie walked away with a passion to respect and support the indigenous people of the Amazon, while Nicole is mystified as to why people wouldn’t want to protect the earth. It was an empowering, emotional, and compelling night that they’ll carry with t...

So I am so excited for today's episode because this past weekend Nikki and I were in Los Angeles and and we presented at the Emma Awards and you know, so I was going to present with Brian and Brian got held up and doing some stuff. So I was lucky enough that Nikki was in Los Angeles with me so she came to the Emma Awards with me. But I'm so excited to ask you some questions because you know, everyone knows like I big advocate for, you know, fighting climate change. I'm an activist and trying to, to you know, put out the word of, you know, what I believe, like the things that can help make this planet better and, and obviously you are too. But you know, I've been mixed in with these people and I was Lucky enough to go on an Emma retreat and meet a lot of the board members get invited to be on the board which they announced there at them awards that I am one of their newest members. So that was really exciting. But I know it was kind of your first event going there and meeting all the people so. So I have to ask, what was your impression of the award show?
A
Well one, it was a lot bigger than I expected. From the red carpet to the amount of people, I was not expecting that at all. And then to know that it was the 35th annual awards, I think that's amazing that they've been doing this for 35 years. Overall I like beyond being impressed by it, I definitely felt super inspired and inspired impacted by was beautiful to hear all the stories. It was also hopeful in knowing like how many people, especially in Hollywood want to make changes. So for if you don't know what Emma stands for, it's Environmental Media Awards. So it was great association or. Yeah, it was great to know that all these people in that world that want to make a difference or are using their platform to put, you know, the voice out there of the things we need to change or bring awareness to climate change or places in the world that need it. And so from. And the theme of the night which was cool was reality tv. So I thought that was also cool. They had that. So Ariana Maddox was the host and Harry Josie, because they wanted. It was cute. Anyone who presented, we all had little. Is it innuendos you would say, right? I guess of like reality TV stuff. So it was neat Bri and I being up there and doing our little thing. But it was just amazing. From cartoons to TV to media sets, I was just, I was super, super impressed and inspired and had a lot of hope because I think sometimes we're so focused, like we hear so much bad. But then I really loved hearing from their perspectives of like how much good is really going on and like what, like what great things to look forward to. So I thought that was really cool.
B
Yeah. And you know, I'm sure a lot of people are wondering, listening like what is Emma? Like what is this association? And even like how do you win an award? And what's really cool is, you know, Emma, they have a green seal. So a lot of TV shows and movies can get this green seal if they go by this protocol of keeping their, what you'd say sets and studios sustainable, eco friendly. So when you see that Wicked got a green seal and I'm a green seal and you see, I mean there's so many huge movies, TV shows. It means there was no plastic. I mean, there's like, it's a huge packet of things, and they have people go there and inspect and really check. And I love it. It's absolutely incredible. And what's amazing is I really want to bring it to the wrestling world. I'm hoping, because I think even though it's traveling, which is hard, I want to help you.
A
You.
B
Yeah. It would be amazing if, you know, they could get the, you know, so.
A
Much plastic water bottles are used at TV and people will, like, sip set down, and that's it. It's crazy. And I'm like, it's majority of the time the same group traveling every week. Like, they should for sure have, like, their own bottles with their names on it. Kind of like how Love island does. Right. And then you just fill it up.
B
And they have water stations.
A
Right. Because it's wild. The plastic use. And if these bins, like, we have trucks that are traveling to every TV anyways, like, it actually, it's just making space for it.
B
Right. And what's really cool, too, at the ward show is not only are these shows and movies, they themselves had the green seal. Then what they're also getting voted for is what kind of messaging did they have that.
A
That's what I noticed.
B
You know, in some way, it could been a little bit or a lot.
A
Yeah.
B
Of like, a little inspiration or education to the environment.
A
Right. Well. And I loved how Rainn Wilson received the Emma for Ongoing Commitment award. But when he did his acceptance speech, he. I mean, I love the office, so I think he's so hilarious. He was so funny. And I loved how he started, like, you know, I was just. Did he say, was it in the pandemic or.
B
I can't remember.
A
I was sitting in my underwear just going off on people on Twitter and realized, you know what? Instead of just going off on people, why don't I go, like, get up and make a change? And I was like, you know what? How cool is that? Because I think of all the people that do certain things on Twitter, like, go off, like. And then it's like, go make a change. Let's go do something. I really like. I enjoyed his acceptance speech so much. Exactly.
B
And it shows you that you don't have to be doing it for decades to actually be honored or applaud. Like, at any given day, you can make the first step.
A
Well, I think. And I think I'm a great example for this. You don't have to be an Activist to make a change. I think sometimes it's just like religion. People get turned away because sometimes whether it's religion or being an activist, it's like all in or nothing. And that scares people, and I understand it. So sometimes people don't want to be all in on something or do what people do. Go to the front lines and do protesting and whatever, you know, and I'm that person. But we can make changes that are little changes, make a really big difference. We can also make ourselves aware and we can do little things with our voice or big things, but that help make change and help make other people aware who aren't aware. And. And so that's like what. What I want to do with it is like you're more an activist and I'm not. But I. Mother Nature is my boo thing and is number one and she needs to be protected and more people need to be aware of it. And I know how I can do that, being me. And I know the changes that I've already made in my life and more that I can make to help that especially. And I know we're going to get into it and we can wait to get into it a little later, but we'll start to talk about the Amazon because that was the. The main. Would you say that was like the ending of the show of. For sure. Because there's a new movie being released about it. So they're dropping the trailer in a few days. But they brought one of. Who The. The stories about this Amazon woman. They brought her in. Her presence on stage.
B
She was incredible.
A
Was so incredible. But before we get into that, I mean, Bree's presence on stage was really incredible, too. I had to give a shout out to Rodney Strong for. Thank you for getting a little bit of Brie mode on here.
B
Well, I would. I was definitely not in Brie mode. I think what it was is I was just.
A
No, we were having fun.
B
That's what it was. I was having fun.
A
You were with your people. That's what I noticed. Brie was in. What do you call it? I said it earlier. How am I forgetting right now?
B
I was in my element.
A
She. There she goes. Brie was in her element.
B
I. You know what? It is, too. It's like when we went to Philadelphia Eagle game, right? You walk into the stadium, majority of everyone's in the same jersey, wanting the same team to win.
A
We all sing the song type of energy.
B
We all yelled at the refs together.
A
No, you're right.
B
That's how I felt walking into the M. Awards. It's like. And I know a lot of them, and because I did a retreat with them, too. You know, you get close, even closer. But it's like walking in with my green jersey, knowing everyone's on the same team, wanting the same fight and the same win at the end of the day, and so works you up, right?
A
Oh, I agree.
B
You're like, really mad people. And I was. What it was is I was having fun on stage and I loved it.
A
And I went off script, which was amazing. Yeah, it was very entertaining.
B
You know, when I was walking both of us to my table, everyone's like, you really started the party.
A
I'm like, yeah, that's right. Always.
B
Always. What can I say?
A
You know, Bri, you know what I would be really interested in? What? And I kind of would love to. I mean, I don't know if I'd love to do this, but I would kind of like to walk around. I don't know if it's high schools, maybe high schools. I mean, I would even like to do it with middle schools, but I would love to go up to, like, do surveys with kids and be like, what is the Amazon? I would love to know what they would say back to me and its purpose. Because I feel like. And I do think some of the younger generation, I even think people would be like, oh, so today, years old. I found out.
B
Yeah.
A
But I truly think so many people aren't aware. I felt like we heard a lot about it when we were young, but I don't know, maybe it was just our environment. We knew about it, But I feel like a lot of people do not know the importance of the Amazon.
B
No. And I feel like when we heard about it when we were young, it was more about the different animals, maybe, that lived in there. And we definitely knew.
A
Right. A little like, you get your majority of your oxygen from the world about it. Right, Right. And kids still know that.
B
But I also think there was a fight when we were always in the 90s for it. Because, I mean, let's be honest. And you just have to say what it is. The facts are the facts. They're natural resources which make people a lot of money. And unfortunately, people are willing to sacrifice, you know, this planet.
A
Right.
B
To have billions. And they're, you know, there. It's sad. And, you know, there's. This has been the biggest debate. It's been a debate since.
A
I mean, but I don't even know how this is a debate. I. I really. When we're Talking about the 20 of the world's oxygen, the heart of the planet, the lungs of the earth. How's there a debate?
B
And. And this. How is it anyone's land? It is no one's. It is P. It's not like you can go in. For me, what's crazy, it's like you almost have to call God and say, hey, God, can I buy this off you? Because for me, what's always been crazy is how people get rich off natural resources. And I'm just like, there should be a vote. Like, it's so weird to me, you.
A
Just kind of get to a place, you're like, when is enough enough? You guys like. But I get, you know, whatever.
B
But what.
A
I guess what's crazy to me when it comes to the Amazon is like, wait, this is. This is literally like life support for us. Yeah, this is. This is. We're talking now about the ones that are illegally mining all you guys. You know, this helps you breathe. You. Your children. And I guess those are the people that don't care. But, you know, because I know you'll get into indigenous people, but to know then I didn't know this, that it's. There's over 400 indigenous communities throughout the Amazon, which. What a trip to me is that The Amazon is 2.7 million square miles.
B
That's humongous.
A
Yeah, humongous, which is why it is the world's life support.
B
But also, this is the thing, and I say we, you know, we. Let's get into the indigenous people. You know, they're the original stewards of the land. And to this day, indigenous people are still teaching us how to be one with the land. They use the land, not obviously in the most sustainable way, but in the correct way.
A
Right.
B
And for some reason, we don't. In a collective whole, and I mean, like, the whole world, we don't actually learn. Like, we don't take a minute to learn their skills or understand or protect. I mean, when you think about it, there's only 5% of indigenous people left in the world. 5%. And those are like the people that keep this planet thriving, that literally keep. Like, they live life with.
A
Right.
B
Nature with animal.
A
Yeah. I mean, they're more connected than any of us can ever be.
B
And there's only 5% indigenous people left in this world.
A
Well, it was. So I wasn't too aware of all of this. Right. And then I'm at the event, and so they're a big segment of the show, and I'm really into it, especially when the woman who the movie's about. So the. The movie is called. And I'm gonna. Yanuni. Yanuni. I know.
B
And they said it, but Yan Uni.
A
Yan Uni. And that's her name. So when she took the stage, the presence, she was wearing her headdress. I was like, wow. And she doesn't speak English, so there was someone there translating for her. And you felt every word from her, even not knowing what she was saying. And then you would hear the translation of it. And I just had chills the whole time. And I was just like. And that's when I was talking to some of her team after. And I go. But I don't even know how this is a debate. How are we even fighting this? Like, hello. Like, why are we. Why do they even have to go to the steps of the government and fight for people not to legally mine or mine or, like, burn down the rainforest or whatever it might. I'm like, how. Wait, am I the only one listening here? Like, how are we debating this? How is there a fight?
B
And how many even. You know, when they do fight? Now, I will say they do peaceful protesting, but how many of them get killed?
A
Well, so this is what they're doing.
B
Doesn't ever make the news. Like, she was actually.
A
They've tried to kill her. 6. What was her. The guy who has to overseer six or seven times. But the documentary that's getting released shows this on film a few times. Like, it is crazy. And I believe they've killed one of her kids when they invaded her tribe. And. And she has another son. But she is on the main fight for not only indigenous people, but for their love and for the planet. Like, it's so. Look, it gives me chills because she says in it, when the tra. They just dropped the trailer, you guys have to go watch. Um. And I can't wait for the movie to go out, which they did send for us, you and I, to watch. And we have to.
B
We need to.
A
But what I love is in the beginning, she talks about the Amazon is our mother and she has the cure. And so she goes into about how we're taking away the cure for what she gives to humans, humankind. She is the cure. She is our mother. And they're literally fighting so people don't destroy her. For all of us.
B
For all of us. You know, Nikki and I gotta meet her after the event. And it was really powerful. She wanted to meet us and we wanted to meet her. So we're all like, you know her, obviously, she doesn't understand English, and we don't know her language, but the translator was amazing. And, you know, she was just like, your strong women. And she's like, I. I want you to join the fight. But as in, like. Like, the way she said it, right?
A
And her energy, because that was what. I was also impressed with her on stage and where I was so inspired and was like, okay, I'm. I'm right in her train. Like, I want to be on that train is she spoke a lot for women because there is a big issue with those women being raped and abused. Right. And. And what I loved is she talked about women from different cultures. You know, she. She talked about the women in Africa. She spoke about women in other countries. Like, it just wasn't about her tribes.
B
Right.
A
And she fights for all those women. And I was just so. Felt so empowered by her, and I was like, I. I want to be a part of what she is.
B
Well, and I was telling Nicole, I was like, you know, even like, someone like that say, I want you to join the fight and help. Like, it's rare you meet people who come into your path who ask you, like, we need your help. I mean, if you really think about life and all the people who've come into your path, how many times was a stranger said, like, through. Felt your energy and said, we need you?
A
Yeah.
B
Like, how many times does that really happen to you in life? And I agree. I told Nicole, like, when we left, I'm like, like, that means a lot to me. And there's. It gave me something.
A
Like, they came to Brie and I during the show. They said, please stay. After they talked about Yanuni wanting to meet us. But I agree with you, Brie, when they were like, we need your help. And the woman from Portugal.
B
No, Peru.
A
Peru.
B
She was from Peru. And the way they kind of gave us this hug, it was like. It was just different. And.
A
Yeah.
B
And I feel like for anyone listening and just, you know, it really makes you just take a step back and.
A
Ecuador. Yeah. And that's where they're doing International Day of Women. She's from Ecuador.
B
But is it Peru that they wanted us to go to in March?
A
Ecuador. Not sure where.
B
But, you know, I really feel like it makes you take a step back and just kind of evaluate where you're at in life, things that are important and just make you think, like, okay, there's more to life than waking up every morning, taking my kids school, maybe stopping by the coffee shop. Like, you know what I mean? Like, things that can feel like Groundhog's Day. And, like, I'll say this, sometimes it's. You can get very comfortable in life going through it, but we should be a little uncomfortable. I think the best part of living is getting a little uncomfortable and doing things that you would never do, that you never thought about doing. Or maybe you thought about it, but it seemed a little bit scary. I. I feel like it's important to get a little uncomfortable in life, because I think that's. That's why we're here, and that gives you purpose and meaning. Like, when you're too comfortable, I feel like the years go too fast.
A
Yeah.
B
And then you start to think about, like, what is that I want in life? Like, what am I. What am I doing? Like, I feel like we shouldn't ask ourselves, what are we doing we should be doing?
A
Right. And by the way, her name's Yuma. Juma.
B
Juma or Yuma, however, they both were stunning.
A
But another one's Helena. Or Helena. But I agree with you, Brie, and I really liked what you said earlier. It's very rare people come up to you and say, we need your help. And it's like, how do you ignore that? Right?
B
So.
A
And. And I do agree, because you know me, I've always been, like, I. I've always been willing. I like to get uncomfortable for women. And I've always had that. That has always been. What has been a fire inside of me, is to fight for women, empower women, inspire women, motivate women. And honestly, of course, men, too, especially the men that have always needed our help with certain things, whether it was coming out or whatever it may be. That' a big passion for us. But it was just crazy, you bringing me to that award show and then me getting so drawn to that. I never thought my life, like, I would all of a sudden be like, oh, my gosh, I want to help the women of the Amazon. I want to help the indigenous people. I like, how is this. How are we even fighting this? It's crazy how it's made me just think so much in that way.
B
Yeah. And made you.
A
And feel for them. Like, when I watch that trailer, like, breaks my heart, like. Like, they're just. What they're doing to their people. And how, like, the moments that camera. What that camera caught, I mean, it's, like, so sad.
B
And that's what I was gonna say. It makes you realize how blessed you are.
A
Yeah. And they're fighting for Mother Nature.
B
They're fighting for our livelihood. They're fighting for.
A
They're not living here forever. And they know that, and they're fighting so people can enjoy it here forever. That is, when you think about that, like, think about that. It is insane.
B
As you all know from our social platforms, that we were just in Paris, France, but Nikki and I wanted to do something really different this trip. We wanted to feel like locals. And I have to say, Nikki, the apartment you picked out, oh, my goodness, it was spectacular.
A
I have to say, you couldn't get the views that we got at a hotel unless you were paying outrageous prices. We had incredible views, and I have to say, it kept me with my health and wellness game. But I also got to dive into fun. I had so much comfort. It was like, not only did we get a feel like home in this gorgeous apartment, but we got to dive into the culture of Paris.
B
Oh, my God.
A
We get to go home. We get to wake up, make our own coffee, just go out on our patio. Look at this incredible history. It was just the best. I don't think Bri could ever do Paris the same way again. It has to be with Airbnb.
B
I think my highlight of my time there is when we went to the farmer's market, the really famous French one. And then I came home and made this delicious dinner with all this fresh produce. I mean, I felt like I was living in a movie. It was incredible.
A
And for me, who was working out a lot, I have to say, what was incredible was being able to do my laundry and then make coffee, open up the windows and literally have a chair right there and just be staring at one of my favorite parts of Paris right there on the patio.
B
I mean, game over. When are we going back? Oh, my gosh. But the best part is, is that sometimes when you're in your travels, especially in Paris, you might spend a lot of money, which is why I love how you can host on Airbnb. I mean, it's such a smart way to make a little extra income. You can put it towards future travel, home improvement, or that fun splurge item you've been eyeing.
A
That's right. I mean, there's nothing greater than hosting your home on Airbnb. And you know what? Finding a little piece home while you travel always makes a trip super special. Your home could be that for someone else.
B
So true. Your home might be worth more than you think.
A

A
The most selfless people ever.
B
The most selfless. There's a saying like, when the. The last tree is cut, the last animal is killed. Then what? Yeah, then what? We all have to ask our question. This is our thing. The biggest thing is really, you know, when people are like, just send the email to the senator or write a letter into this, that actually, that does something. You know, sometimes I know it's hard to be like, well, I don't know. What do you want me to do? You're right. A lot of times we do have to rely on our leaders. But you will see a lot of times signing a petition, sending in an email is actually way bigger than, you know, I would say not buying the smart water at the gas station. But, you know, like, it's incredible, you know, when you can really help get, you know, tell our senators, like, please, like, don't build roads on our public lands in the middle of the forest. Like, we all just saw Alaska. They lost that fight.
A
That is so crazy to me, the fact that anyone would be for us being able to go hunt these incredible creatures that can go extinct. How are any of us for that? And. And it's never a real fight. Like, you guys are using helicopters and guns and cameras and all the things. And how are you proud to shoot something like that and think that's a trophy win. I am sorry. I don't know if that's the athlete in me. And I know what it's like, what it's like to work hard for a win or trophy or. Or ribbon, whatever it might be. That ain't winning. That ain't victory. That ain't.
B
Yeah, I mean, that. That. The whole trophy.
A
The whole trophy hunting thing, like, and then the thing is, is, like, you usually like, what stuff it put in your man cave and what go like, smoke your cigars, sip your whiskey and what, have friends come over every now and then. Then where does that thing go when you pass? I will never understand that.
B
I will never understand. But the big thing is, is building the roads in on untouched land.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, that's the big.
A
Can we just leave some things untouched?
B
It's all deals.
A
It's all, you know, money, money, money.
B
Oh, my gosh.
A
I know. It's. But thank you for bringing me to that. I wish that you had the option to bring people all the time to that, like, random people, because I think it's amazing. Honestly. I wish that would be televised because even though things like that are different when you're watching than being in it and feeling the energy of people, and I feel like you're more inspired in that way, for sure. And you know what? I thought it was really beautiful of what Rain said. The one thing he's realized in this world is he's done what he's been doing, is the younger generations have lost hope. They truly feel that what our generations and older have just ruined this world and that's it for them. And how he's on a mission to bring hope back into the younger generation. And I. I was like, whoa. Like, I. I haven't heard someone talk like that or bring awareness to that alone. And I was like, oh, my gosh, Geez. We have a lot of work to do.
B
We do well. And I think that.
A
And a lot is being done great, too. We got to talk about the positive because Debbie, who runs it, was giving incredible numbers that I've never heard of. Like, all the pluses of what people have been doing.
B
Sure.
A
So there's so much POS positive going on, which they were, like, clapping and cheering for. I wish I remembered them. I don't. But, yeah, I was like, okay, good. Well, no, I wasn't. I was too hungover from Friday. I was hungover.
B
Sucks.
A
It sucked, but it's all good. I couldn't. You know, those hangovers where you take a sip of a drink. I was like, oh, Rodney Strong. And it was there. Like you were talking about their premium line. And I was so pumped and I sipped and then immediately my head was like, I don't think so.
B
That's the worst feeling.
A
I know.
B
Gosh.
A
So I didn't. Which is fine.
B
Well. And I dealt with a fish allergy. So I had had white fish for over six months, maybe longer. So finally for some reason decided to try it Friday night. Some sea bass and yellow tell Hamachi. Like my skin just like crawled right now.
A
I know. I could see it like turn red. Yeah. And girl, no more fish. I know, but I get a colonoscopy too. I just feel like you need one.
B
I know you called and told mom about that. I like.
A
And mom and I are like worried. I'm like, I don't know. I just think you need a colonoscopy.
B
No, I just got.
A
You just gotten a lot of reactions non stop.
B
Because I have a lot of allergies. That's what it is.
A
Which is just wild how it's happened like overnight. For you.
B
Normal. For women in their 40s, it's normal.
A
Why couldn't this wait for the 50s? I mean, 40s were just like, I.
B
Better not deal with it. We're getting.
A
Well, I mean, what you've been through, I hope you're not dealing with in a year or less.
B
I know.
A
Well, this might gotta figure it out. Boo.
B
When I was very strict with the, you know what I doing pretty much, it's like you go hardcore. And then the sensitivity thing, you start to bring things in and see what your reaction.
A
Yeah.
B
I just put the salmon I didn't react to like whatever weeks ago. So it was the white fish. I think I'm fine with salmon.
A
Yeah.
B
I just can't do shellfish and white.
A
Yeah.
B
Which whitefish was high on my thing. But why would you do it? I just thought.
A
I don't know. I was hungry, by the way. Yeah. The food that they had serving there was from Crossroads. So if you guys haven't had Crossroads in LA yet, it is the best vegan food spot you will ever have. They were passing around these. I don't know if you've ever seen where people do these cones with the caviar on top. So the filling part was made from beets and then they literally made caviar from kale. Well, what looked like caviar and it was delicious.
B
Oh, man.
A
All the food was so good. I mean, you saw me smash you. Give me A vegan Caesar salad. That thing's gone in a second. That was ridiculous.
B
At first, I wasn't eating it because I'm like, oh, I can't have Caesar salad. And Nicole reminded me, no, it's.
A
Girl. It's vegan. I mean, good croutons because of gluten.
B
Yeah. But I was like, oh, my gosh. And then I, like, licked the plate.
A
That's Caesar's. Home was so ridiculous. Everything, it was all just gorgeous.
B
And, oh, I was thinking the guy next to me must have been like, has this girl eaten all day?
A
Because I didn't even care.
B
I went to, like, Smash Town, and.
A
You guys, we were dying at my dress. I loved my dress. Loved my dress. So once I knew I could go to the Emma Awards with Bri, and I was presenting, I was like, oh, well, Bree's doing florals. I want to find something with flowers, you know, fit the vibes. So I get this overnighted on Revolve, and thank goodness it just fit like a glove. I was, like, praying, and. But when I put it on and Claire was right there, I looked at her. I go, do you think it's missing a few flowers? But I just wasn't thinking. And I'm. I hate to use the song Blame the Alcohol, but I didn't tan at all. And then when I'm looking at all the photos, when Claire showed me in the first photo she took me, I go, oh, oh, I'm all legs and booty here. And then Brie looks at me, and she goes, girl, you own it. And I'm like, okay, I'm gonna own it. Which I told myself, I'm gonna own it. And I was feeling great about myself. Not so much the hangover, but I was, other than that, feeling great about myself. But Claire and I were just, like, crying, laughing. When I go, do you think they're missing some flowers? Why?
B
The night before, I wanted us to stay in and do rooms service.
A
So much fun at Delilah's. You cannot regret this.
B
That.
A
I mean, what I love about Delilah's, whether it's LA or Vegas, from the live music, then when the live music takes a little bit of a break, always. The DJ that comes on is so good. They're always playing our era music.
B
Well, and this is.
A
And they make the best tequila drinks, and they always have Lalo Tequila. So I think, obviously, if you have Lalo and have four, you're fine. But when you're like me and then.
B
You have six, that's the thing.
A
I think you don't and then I had champagne. Champagne and caviar.
B
Too fast. We'll see. And then I start to dance. So I don't drink anymore. The minute I start dancing, see, I.
A
Was like, I don't. Drinking and dancing, which I shouldn't have.
B
But I will say this, but what about.
A
What about what we were saying about the dance floor?
B
Well, yeah, I've noticed a lot of Gen Z's don't dance. They stand on the dance floor, but they don't.
A
I don't know. I think it's a generation under Gen Z.
B
What's under Gen Z again?
A
Gen xc, Gen zx. Gen xc, Gen xy. There is whoever gets that, Generation X is above us. Whoever. Yeah, you're right. Whoever gets that label, their era is pretty sick. I want to be a genexi.
B
Well, I will say this. I just noticed younger people, they had.
A
To me in their 20s, grew up on Snapchat. You can't blame them.
B
They stood on the dancer. You could definitely tell who the millennials were, because when some of those songs hit, like, I'm talking about.
A
Oh, I mean, we were, like, big.
B
You knew who was, like, a millionaire.
A
Oh, we were like. And no, Fat Joe.
B
Oh, my God. I was like, we're staying.
A
Yeah, exactly. This is when you wanted to go home.
B
She.
A
All of a sudden, they were playing, like, our whole, like, senior year, 2002 era.
B
Okay. By the way, anytime. And if you're out there when you.
A
Why is that? You know, that was our senior song. By the way.
B
You guys, when you hear Fat Joe say, turn the mic on. I mean, do you not sprint to the dance floor?
A
Sprint every time.
B
Goodness me. They nailed it.
A
They nailed it. Well, I mean. And it just makes me think of senior year so much. Oh, I loved high school.
B
So that was, like, it. There was definitely at Delilah's, a lot of different age groups.
A
This is the one thing I will tell you who. I'm a baby to hangovers. That's why I do everything possible to never get them. It was worth the hangover. That's how much fun I had.
B
Damn. All right.
A
Sam, girl. It wasn't like I was, like, throwing up or sick or anything. No, it's just a little off.
B
Yeah, I know. I felt bad for you because I could tell.
A
Yeah.
B
And then she's like, I didn't realize how big this event would be. I'm like, what?
A
When I saw the red carpet and, like, E. News and everyone there, I, like, looked at her, and I was like, I did not think this Or I would have made sure I stayed in the night before to thin out my face, which, who cares? We live. I. I had the greatest weekend ever.
B
It was the greatest week.
A
That was the craziest week.
B
Yeah. I mean, it was a star studded event. Of course they're gonna have, I mean, press, but this is what's good to know is that.
A
Oh, and can I just tell you something? Because you. We were in an interview. I think it was with US Weekly or People.
B
Okay.
A
So you know how we went to E. News and then we were talking to two women. I think it was like People then Us Weekly.
B
Right.
A
And did you see how the one. One of the paparazzi women who was sitting started to talk to me? And you know how we. Okay, you guys, we've known some of the paparazzi people who are on the.
B
Red carpets for a long time.
A
A long time. I mean, they've evolved with us over 15 years for sure of walking red carpets and different things. So the one who's been one of those, who's known us for so long and has known me through all my, all my relationships and everything, when you were, you know how she grabbed me to talk to me real quick. She said, I have never seen anyone hold themselves like you going through what you've gone through ever in this industry. And she really went in on, like, how you've always carried yourself, the energy and light you bring the smiles. She goes, you've inspired me. And every time I see you, I just want to hug you. And she went on and on.
B
Wow. And did you tell her why you feel like you've gotten through it all with a smile on your face?
A
Of course she was gonna make it about her. But no, we. And of course you're a big part of that Bri Bo Bo thing. But no, she just went on. That's what she wanted to talk to me about.
B
I love that. Is that amazing chit chatting?
A
But I was like talking. Yeah, she really wanted. That's why I had a hug her and I go and I told her, you have no idea what that means. Because I just. We know and I know all the things. Right. But not everyone does. And that's okay. Yeah. But then it also goes to show when you do the work like we've always talked about, when you have faith and, and you know that there's more than that, there's more than career, all the things, like as long as you know God has you for tomorrow, like there's a way to live, but it just shows You. When you lead by that, how that sets an example. I don't. I don't know. I. I feel like I could get in deep, but there's things I don't want to say, so I'll just stop there. So it makes me sound like this is the thing that's always been hard to talk about so much. What I go through is I'm trying to protect things, so I never feel like I get to fully say my things. Then I kind of sound dumb, so.
B
You actually don't sound dumb. I'm. You can very much tell you're holding back to protect things, but you're also saying your point.
A
Yeah. Okay.
B
So. Which I very much feel. And I think a lot of people feel.
A
Yeah.
B
And I think a lot of people have seen that.
A
Yeah.
B
And I. I'm always with you. And I feel like countless times, especially women come up to you, whether we're at the grocery store, coffee shop, working out, whatever we're doing.
A
Yeah.
B
And compliment you on that. Or say, like, thank you, because you gave me the strength to. Whatever situation they were in, they got through. Yeah. And so. And that says a lot. I mean, it was funny because we were at Air1 and a young girl came up to Nicole. Oh. And mainly her mom. But she wanted the young girl, and she had just gone through a situation that related to Nikki in our book Incomparable. And. And the mom was emotional, and the girl was, you know, not as emotional, still in shock. But there was this really sad situation, and she was, like, really had the girl, like, read the book and look into Nikki's life and be like, you're not crazy.
A
And so 16, and she's. And I'm assuming it was rape and the man is now behind bars, but they needed her to get out of the city they were in, so they brought her to LA to have a fun trip. They. Look, I'm gonna get chills. And it makes me emotional, too. They had her read our book because of what I overcame to inspire. And then they take her to Air One and we happen to be in the same aisle.
B
Same aisle.
A
If God is not good, I don't know what.
B
Yeah.
A
And so I got to talk to her in person, and we gotta have a great chat. And I know. It's so just a beautiful girl.
B
Yeah.
A
And it made my heart just break. And especially seeing how emotional the mom was, because that would be extremely emotional.
B
I mean, I couldn't even imagine. Couldn't even. No, but that's. You know, it was. So when sometimes you Feel like you can't really get your point across because. Right what you do.
A
Yeah.
B
And people feel that and that's. I feel like they do come up to us and a lot of people come up to me and ask if they can drink with me. So I must get my point across a lot.
A
You guys. How many people came up. You poured that table. Damn everyone. Like they're like I was in the.
B
Bathroom and there was some amazing actresses in there and they're like, girl, you're, you're.
A
But they said both of us.
B
Right?
A
But like you got the party started.
B
She did.
A
She literally did. Well, and not everyone gets away with like oh, and by the way, you guys, if you want any body slams after the show will be available. Brie and I always know we like to throw on our phone. But tell them about the six year old boy. What the. Didn't he go to Zaddy goes, oh, I would like one of those after. Oh yeah. So I made the joke about oh, and we'll do body because Brie did a wrestling joke. It was funny about because she was promoting one of her good friends. She has this clean moisturizer. So Brie had this funny joke about it and then she had a bunch of funny jokes with it. Off script mom jokes. But they were great. I nailed them. And I. That's when I had to talk to Rodney Strong about yep, thanking your rose for this one.
B
And I did think I told everyone that he made me so never have I ever. No, you did.
A
That's why I was dying. When you see my head back, laughing hard, that's when you said that joke. I was like, oh God. But then I say like, hey. Because then she's doing an off script joke. So then I'm gonna do off script jokes and I say like, oh yeah. And after the show, you know, Brie and I are going to be giving away free body slams. So anyone who wants to stick around and then the little boy who's at the front table who's like this and doesn't go to his dad and his dad goes, no, he's like, like as if we're really going to be giving body slams. But I love that it's the 6 year old who's like heck yeah, I want a body slam.
B
And then I want a spear from Roman Reigns.
A
And I love it.
B
No, it was, it was really cute. Either, you know, people are either walked away and they're like they're hilarious or they think we're train wreck.
A
All right everyone. I feel like Bri and I talk a lot about confidence on the Nick and Brie show, how that truly comes within. But I do gotta say, especially being on TV every week, a good bra always helps with confidence.

I have to say, Bri, I am really big with the no side effects style because that's the one thing that would always get me with bras and I always became known as the girl that didn't wear bras is I always hated how you could see, see it, how you would get that kind of side, you know, the lumps. It wasn't complimentary, I should say. So I have to say I've been loving the no side effects bra because there's nothing better than wearing a bra. But everything looks really smooth.

Every style, every home. Can I tell you a cute story real quick? Yeah. I forgot to tell you. So we had parent teacher conference yesterday. I had parent teacher conference, and I was talking to the teachers, and so I was. I started to talk to them about how Mateo's been more, like, aware about how he calls me Nikki Bella and all the things. And, you know, us is asking me a lot about my job. And, you know, he used to define me as a hard worker, and that was my job. Hard work. So I want to go do hard work today. Yeah. The teachers are telling me that this little boy was talking about his mom, who's a doctor, and is going off about her. Mateo goes, well, you know what my mom does? And I'm thinking in my head, he's gonna say, hard worker. And the kid goes, why? And he goes, she's a wrestler. And they said. The little boy goes. And his eyes get so big because he just couldn't believe, like, wait, your mom's a wrestler? So now Mateo tells people his mom's a wrestler.
B
Oh, my God.
A
Yeah.
B
It's like, my kids, too. Even though they always say, daddy's a wrestler, Mommy. And I go, what's Mommy? And they're like, mommy, Mommy.
A
And I'm like, I get that with you.
B
Yeah. I'm like, mommy.
A
The most important job.
B
Ever and doing a lot of other things.
A
No, but Mommy is like. That's what I mean. Like, the list of what defines Mommy. Oh, for sure. Let me tell you.
B
Daddy's pro wrestler and Mommy, you know Mommy.
A
Yeah, Mommy. So, Bird, I was telling Bird.
B
When?
A
Before you got here. Birdie's upstairs right now.
B
Had a tummy ache, and it's PE Day, you know, and it's raining. So my guess, they were gonna do something inside that she didn't like.
A
She was like, nope.
B
When I picked her up, I go, anxiety bird. And she's like, no. You know, I do think it's my tummy.
A
Yeah. So we were praying last night, and ever since God made all the clouds go away in Jesus for the hot air balloons to float, he's very much in this thing, like, oh, I can ask them for things and they'll happen.
B
Yeah.
A
But so we're. We're saying all the things we're grateful for and all that. Right. And then he goes. And I go, is there anything else you want, you know, to pray about? And he goes, yes, that Birdie and I are going to go on a very amazing vacation. We're gonna ride fast trains.
B
Well, you don't gotta tell Bird twice. Well, but isn't that cute?
A
That's what he prayed for last night. Well, and I was like, oh, you and Birdie on vacation? He goes, yes, that's what I'm gonna ask.
B
Gosh. Oh, my God, I love it. I was telling Nicole this morning. So there's a new movie I think came out last night, Elo.
A
Oh, yeah. I need a water. Even though I'm not in the mood to cry. But I'll watch it. Yeah.
B
Especially because how Buddy took it. And it's about a kid with his aunt. I think Teo will think of, like, me. But I was in the kitchen prepping dinner, and Buddy just, like, got crazy. And I was like. And Birdie, like, is teary eye. And I go, oh, my gosh, bud. And he's like, he better stay with her. And I was like. So I sat with him, and I'm watching the ending. And, you know, after. Because Brian came out, Brian thought something happened to Buddy. And I was like, no, he's upset with the movie, the ending. And he's like, why does it always have to be sad? But it was really touching. But, you know, he thought the little boy was gonna pick the universe and leave the end and not her. But then he ended up picking to stay with the aunt.
A
Yeah.
B
And then Buddy was really happy. But Brian, I was saying it's probably because he's so close with you, so he knows, like, the importance of, like, that relationship. And you didn't want. Because it's. The boy was with a bunch of monsters in the universe.
A
Well, for sure, Mateo would be that way.
B
Yeah.
A
He's obsessed. Obsessed with his Auntie Breezy. Loves, loves, loves Auntie Breezy. And Uncle Brian.
B
Right. Well. And I told Brian, I go, I'll be honest. Kind of like that the kid cried because he showed compassion. And, like, something hit him, that it was great sensitivity. I'm like, sometimes with bad. I Don't. I don't know.
A
I agree.
B
You know?
A
Well, even on our walk, you know, when I'm holding him, like, Mateo wants you to hold him. So I'm holding Buddy. And just the stuff he says to me, like, it's just so cute.
B
Ask you about wrestling.
A
He'll always ask me out wrestling. But we were talking like, oh, so that's where Teo goes to school. I think we were talking about that. And then what I wish I could remember because he said something really cute. And then he's like, oh, and then can I have your banana in the car? And I was like, yeah, of course. And he had the banana. He's just like sitting there. Okay, before we get an inspiration affirmation, I gotta talk about one of the greatest reels I came over. Well, there's a ton of great reels, but I have to talk about the Priest in Italy. Have you guys seen this real about the different videos they've had captured of the Priest in Italy?
B
Like how good looking they are?
A
It looks like a GQ magazine.
B
Really? Let me see.
A
Okay. But. Okay, you watch it and then I gotta read the comments.
B
So give it back.
A
I send it to you. Yeah.
B
Oh, you send me so many. Oh, wow.
A
Yeah, those are the holy men of Italy.
B
These are all different places in Italy or the same?
A
Yeah, these are all different priests. Oh, yeah.
B
They're very good looking. So is this it? Oh. Oh, my gosh.
A
Oh, yeah, that one. Which one? Oh, I know. They ended with him, of course. All right. My favorite. By the way, the comments one says, forgive me, daddy. Father.
B
I mean.
A
Forgive me. Everyone's like, jesus, I'm flying to Italy right now. My body is a temple. You may worship here.
B
I mean, why do I feel like I need to go to church after listening to this?
A
Honestly? Oh, I love how one person wrote, oh, great. Me falling for unavailable men again. Fifty Shades of Prey.
B
Oh, my gosh, that's so good.
A
Holy Mother, forgive them all. My family is asking, why am I listening to Madonna on loop? Oh, because the song this person put is like a prayer or whatever. Yeah, or whichever. God creating a little army of Henry Cavill priests to get folks to church. So many confessions. Italians do everything better. Even good looking priests, people. Lord have mercy. Anyways, it is like 20, 000 comments of the greatest stuff. I was like crying, laughing, but I was like, let's end on that. So. Okay, Bri. With a little inspiration affirmation. Well, I think we both are doing one today. Yeah, let's do one and because we've talked so much about AI in Chat. GPT Chat gave me this poem about the Amazon. About. So Chat. You know what I loved is Chat is the one when I said, I would like for you to explain what the Amazon means to the world. And Chat was, you know, like, it's not just a regional treasure, it's a global necessity. Ne. Oh, my gosh. Necessity. Didn't know my not.
B
Yeah, well, it's necessary. I said that.
A
Right? But they. But they necessary. Yeah.
B
I don't know, girl.
A
They were the ones that, you know, hearted the plan. Oh, it was amazing to hear what something that comes off factor box.
B
Right? Yeah.
A
But you want to hear their poem.
B
Yeah, they made up their own poem.
A
They're poets now.
B
Okay.
A
Chat.
B
But just let's use it as little as possible.
A
Of course. Oh, I'm very mindful.
B
They haven't got that.
A
I feel like everyone needs to get right. Okay. The Amazon, the heart of the Earth. The Amazon, A living breath that circles the world. The lungs of our planet, where green meets endless sky and rivers move like veins through the heart of the Earth. It gives us one in every ten living things. A course of life older than it's older than time itself. It holds the secrets of healing, the rhythm of rain, and the balance of our climate in its arms.
B
Wow.
A
400 nations call it home. Keepers of wisdom, guardians of harmony between people and planet. But the Amazon isn't just theirs. It belongs to all of us. Every leaf, every drop, every breath is a reminder that when the Amazon thrives, the world does too.
B
Boom.
A
Give it up to Chat. Hitting us with, like, inspirational poetry that gives you chills.
B
It does. That's actually really good and kind of freaky too.
A
I mean, that gave one of the most incredible poetry.
B
I was like, that was really good.
A
That was incredible.
B
Wow. Well, this comes from a chief who lives and breathes.
A
I was just gonna.
B
Doesn't need technology and feels it. And actually it's Chief Seattle. And I will say everyone's seen this. This is a very simple quote. And I feel like it's gone around for years and years and years. But the Earth does not belong to us. We belong to Earth. And I feel like sometimes we forget that.
A
Yeah.
B
You know, like, we don't own the planet. No, we don't own the Amazon. We don't own the mountains and the trees and the rainforest. Like, we don't even own the animals. We really don't. Like, we belong to this incredible planet that has helped all of us thrive. And, you know, there's just. You know, I talked about this in the last episode. Well, actually, before we did our live one. But like, I think, honestly, sometimes we have to go out into nature and just sit still for 10 minutes. You know, Jane Goodall would say that just go sit in nature for 10 minutes and write down what you hear.
A
Yeah.
B
What you feel. But we just need to be reminded.
A
We do. And Judgment Day is a real thing. And one day you will have that day. So. Yeah. Just live your life according to that.
B
Exactly.
A
Because it's not yours.
B
I agree. Well, everyone, we hope you have an amazing green weekend.
A
Hey, you can be bougie and green. How about that? Yeah.
B
