Nikki Garcia
Yeah, I will say it was time for me to go home. I had an incredible experience and now I know like stuff like that's not for me. Me. This is the Nikki and Bri Show.
Bri Garcia
Happy Monday everyone. Welcome back to the Nikki and Bri Show.
Nikki Garcia
That is right. And I'm officially banished from the traitors. Nikki. That's it. Spoiler alert. If you haven't streamed it yet. Sorry, spoil alert. But it's been a few days. It has.
Bri Garcia
Yeah. So it can't be that many spoils. Yep.
Nikki Garcia
I only lasted what halfway through.
Bri Garcia
But. And we're going to get into it. This whole episode is about Nikki's experience on traders.
Nikki Garcia
But I could finally talk about it. I know when I was edited.
Bri Garcia
Yeah.
Nikki Garcia
Which is great.
Bri Garcia
But devastating.
Nikki Garcia
I know the world felt was devastating, sad.
Bri Garcia
I mean I hate using the word unfair but it felt very unfair.
Nikki Garcia
But yeah, it's.
Bri Garcia
Yeah. And it was hard not to get bothered at some people. But that's okay. I left my emotions with the round table. Even though I'd like to take him outside the round table. But I mean we have to start at the beginning. How was your experience on traders?
Nikki Garcia
I mean honestly, overall My experience was incredible. I have never been in a gaming situation, like, did a gaming show, so this was my first experience. And as you know, I was a fan of the Traders, so it was really neat to get the offer to then compete because I was like, okay, I love watching the show. Can I actually participate in the show? The one thing that I will say with my experience is I am not a gamer. I will never do another game show again. But my, like, everyone who works with the Trader.
Bri Garcia
Why do you say that?
Nikki Garcia
I know, I'll tell you why. Sorry, I kind of jumped ahead. But what I do want to say is that everyone who is a part of the Traders, behind the scenes, an incredible group of people. They're like a family. They all do UK and us together. So you felt the family vibes there. And everyone was absolutely amazing. Amazing to work with behind the scenes. Like, I was actually. I was so excited to get home to Mateo, but I was very sad.
Bri Garcia
To leave everyone because, like, leaving camp.
Nikki Garcia
We'Re literally like film you guys, like 12 hours a day. I mean, when we're doing those roundtables, it's like 11:00pm and we start at 8:00am, but we, you know, we wake up at like 6 or 6:30. So, like, they're very long days. But so you. You get very attached to everyone, right? But I am not a gamer. I will never do another game show. It's not for me.
Bri Garcia
Why do you say that?
Nikki Garcia
It's, you know, it's my personality in a way. Like, I'm a pro athlete. I can compete in sports when it comes to that gameplay. When we did a reality show, we're ourselves. And our reality shows were mainly cameras following us, competing in and out of the ring or just being ourselves at home, right? So for me, when I went into this game show, I just was me, like Nikki Garcia me. And a lot of people had this expectation that I was like, the wrestler Nikki Bella coming in, right? So then the lines were so blurred with me on how people were like, I was like, is this real? Is this fake? I don't know what's going on. And it was just, I can't be ruthless.
Bri Garcia
You know me, you can't be ruthless.
Nikki Garcia
I am such, like, sisterhood girls, girl. Like, you know, I soccer player, 11 years, then went to wrestling locker room. Like, I've always shared a locker room with female athletes. I'm all about, like, teamwork. So I loved, like, the lion sisterhood aspect of it. But, like, people like, cutting each other down and getting ruthless and doing that kind of stuff that is not my style play. And that was really hard on me.
Bri Garcia
And I will say this because I'm your twin sister and I know you so well. The minute you start to see that, you shut down.
Nikki Garcia
I shut down.
Bri Garcia
Like, you don't like when people are mean. You don't like sneakiness, manipulation. You shut down, like, down, walls go up. Nikki's gone. See y'all later. Yeah, that. And I noticed that just watching Traders and I saw people on social feeling the same. Like, Nikki held back. She should have said more or something. I go, no, no, no. My sister's the type to shut down. The minute betrayal happens, the minute anything feels sneaky, manipulation, or like you said, ruthless behavior, boom, done.
Nikki Garcia
Yes, totally. And. And that was the thing. Like. Like, there's so much to get into. Of course. But if we're going to talk about the round table. Cause that's what you're talking about, my banishment.
Bri Garcia
Right. But I say we wait for that.
Nikki Garcia
Okay, let's wait for that. But so overall, great experience.
Bri Garcia
And.
Nikki Garcia
And I'm not. Like, there's people in there that are just great gamers.
Bri Garcia
Right?
Nikki Garcia
You see the Survivor people, the Big Brother, like, and even some of the. I have to say the housewives, like, majority of them, they. They crush it. And what I've realized is I like to be a viewer. I don't want to be a player, and I don't ever want to do Survivor. I don't. You'll never see me in Big Brother. You'll never see me on the challenges of MTV or whatever. Like, I am not a gamer. So just keep me in a ring, maybe a soccer field, T ball coach, whatever it may be, that's where I get my competition. But when it comes to games that involve mental work and, like, manipulation, like you said and all that kind of stuff, I'm not. That's not me. And it was really, really hard on me.
Bri Garcia
I bet.
Nikki Garcia
Really hard on me.
Bri Garcia
Well, and speaking of something that was really hard on you that I feel like people don't even understand, not only like, yes, betrayals of people, but started from the beginning, is how long you had to leave Mateo. And what I'm curious because a lot of parents, dads and moms have to travel or leaving their kids. You gotta tell everyone because I know. How hard was it for you leaving Mateo and going into the castle?
Nikki Garcia
Right. Well, I was about to not accept the gig to, like, compete on Traders because I was like, unless his dad's home, like, I'm not gonna go. So it happened to be perfect timing where his dad got to stay, was going to be home. So I was like, okay, I can be gone up to three weeks, right? In the end, I think I was only gone from him for about two. Yeah, about two weeks. Felt a lot longer. Because, see, because it's such a competitive game, and I have to say, they're super strict, but I like that. Then, you know, the game's legit. You only get to have communication with your family every Sunday. It can only be no more than an hour. You have someone sitting next to you, making sure you're not talking about the game. That was the hardest part for me. Now, there are times that as a parent, if you absolutely need to talk to your child, they let you, and they're very cool about that. And so I got a few of those facetimes in, but they had to be very short.
Bri Garcia
That's hard.
Nikki Garcia
And what you don't see on this season is actually Brittany and I connected a lot, but our conversations were a lot about kids. So of course that's not going to make air. Like, it's not like it's drama or anything. But she and I connected because we both were on the wavelength of, like, really missing our kids, and the lack of communication was really hard on us. So that, like, I was struggling big time, because before Traders, the only time I was ever away from Mateo since he had been born was doing Barmageddon twice. And they're like, como trip. That's it. But of course, I would FaceTime him multiple times a day. So this was my first time where I would go a few days without talking to him, and I was struggling. And even Dolores and I would have a lot of conversations when we weren't filming because she could tell I was struggling, and she was like, I don't. I couldn't have done it with my son being three. Like, I couldn't have done it. So she, like, understood the struggle. And, like, she. She's amazing. Dolores is like, we still, like, she texes and checks on me. She's like, I'm. I'm obsessed with Dolores. I love her so much. So that was what a lot of people didn't realize I was struggling with, was just, like, not even being able to talk to Mateo at that time.
Bri Garcia
Now, do you think if you were able to FaceTime with Mateo every day, do you think that would have changed.
Nikki Garcia
Your game or 100%? Yeah, for sure. Even Brittany and I were talking about that, you would just feel better. And I think, especially as moms we worry so much, and then I think we get more emotional than dads in that sense. So I feel like I could have been stronger, especially towards the end when, like, if I was to speak to him every day, because that you're. It's different.
Bri Garcia
It's.
Nikki Garcia
You know. And then he knows, like, mommy's still here. And, like, that's why Barmageddon was 11 days. But he would see me at, like, three, four times. Three to four times. And anytime he wanted, like, if he wanted five or six, he'd give me five or six. Well.
Bri Garcia
And that's what's hard on, you know, a working parent. I mean, I just think of Brian and all his travels. Brian hated it because at one point, my kids would call the phone.
Nikki Garcia
Dada. Yeah. But because they would FaceTime him so.
Bri Garcia
Much on the phone. But also, like, in our culture today, that is a big part of how we connect, and we're lucky to have those tools. I think of back in our day, we had some friends. Their dad's traveled so much, they didn't have the luxury of being able to.
Nikki Garcia
Talk to them all the time. No.
Bri Garcia
Like, we do now. So I feel like if you got that.
Nikki Garcia
Yeah.
Bri Garcia
Would it change? You would have been more ruthless. I think you would have been more ruthless, but I don't know. It's so nuts. You.
Nikki Garcia
It's not me.
Bri Garcia
Yeah.
Nikki Garcia
The environment was not made for me.
Bri Garcia
No.
Nikki Garcia
No.
Bri Garcia
And to be honest, people will be like, well, Bree, you should do it. And, like, we joke. Like, I would be good, like, at it. I think I would.
Nikki Garcia
Yeah.
Bri Garcia
But my big thing is being away from my family. And I also don't, like, when, like, I do. I don't know. I think I would almost, at times, come off unlikable because I think I would be, like, a little bitchy and a little, like, tired. And then, like, if I'm emotionally sad, it could have just. It could have thrown me another way. Okay.
Nikki Garcia
But what's crazy is, overall, I actually wasn't that quiet. There's just a lot of my stuff's edit out. But, like, Gabby and I were having a great time the whole time. Yeah. Like, we always made sure that we got our glass of wine at the end of the night. Like, we would write it if it wasn't, like, on time, and we would laugh and have so much fun.
Bri Garcia
So you guys got a glass of wine every night.
Nikki Garcia
Yeah, there's.
Bri Garcia
That's nice.
Nikki Garcia
Yeah. There was one night they tried to not let us have a rest of wine. We were like, oh, no, no, no. Like, we deserve our glass of wine because you only get one. That's so fun. So, yeah, we. It was like we were. We'd have so much. Like, I had such incredible conversations with people. But maybe that's my issue, too, is, like, I probably should have been talking more to people about, like, traders. I was just having more fun getting to know people like Bob Harper and Sam. Now Dylan and I would have great trader talks. But then I also loved getting to know him, just of who he is. And Gabby and I, of course, and Chrishell. So maybe I had too much, like. And Brittany. Brittany and I had so many conversations, but I guess I should have focused more on traders.
Bri Garcia
Yeah.
Nikki Garcia
Which I did. But then I really enjoyed getting to know people.
Bri Garcia
You know how I. Oh, yeah, I know. You came home and loved talking about everyone, and one person you really loved was Bob the Drag Queen.
Nikki Garcia
I mean, Bob, I love. He was my favorite. To me is the funniest person in the world.
Bri Garcia
Yeah. So what. So what did it make you feel like when you found out he was a trader?
Nikki Garcia
Oh, first of all, the fact that people were so hooked on me. My expression or my reaction finding out. I was so shocked. Bob was a traitor because. Okay, so day one, when you finally get to, like. And it's not even when you really get to meet people, but they have to put four people in a van, so you only first get to know the three other people. So Gabby, Bob, and Tony, we were all in a van, and you're literally in this van. Am I even joking, you guys? Probably four hours, four to five hours, like, waiting before we're gonna see other people. So we don't know who else is coming.
Bri Garcia
Right.
Nikki Garcia
And we all obviously get to know each other really well, and we all just click. And so you naturally just stay in that. And that's where Gabby and I are like. I mean, we are like. We just hit it off so perfectly. But also with Bob the Drag Queen, even Tony, like, I loved Tony. I was so beyond shocked because Bob, at least to me, played it off so great. I would have not bought at all. He was a traitor. So when I found out, yeah, I'm not the type of person to, like, get up, throw a chair, go ooh wee, or whatever. I literally, like, jaw dropped and grabbed my face because I just couldn't believe it. And that reaction wasn't, like, good enough for people. And I'm like, that was a natural reaction because I'm literally shocked as fuck. Sometimes I feel like people really amp it up for tv. And I'm like, okay, you're just not eating, Maria. I'm not that person. So I literally was like, hands over mouth, jaw drop. Because in my head, I'm like thinking how much I trusted Bob's words. So immediately in my head I'm like, oh, my goodness. He was the first person who ran to me when I put down Ian. I was walking into that one to put Carol Carolyn's name down. Bob runs up to me and says this whole Wells thing. And then, remember I told you, I looked in the kitchen and I see Wells and I am talking and I'm like, but I just had a great day with Wells. I can't put his name down. So I'm going to put her name down because obviously they're traitors together. Bob would feed me bullshit pretty much. But I love Bob and so I trusted Bob and I would laugh so hard. Gabby and I were both devastated because we both did not think Bob the drag queen was a traitor. And we just love him, love him. And I still do. And he has the most iconic out ever. No one will beat that out. That will go down in Traders of history. You know what I mean?
Bri Garcia
Yeah. Well, so Bob, I will say when you look back, he did have a lot of words. Like, when you go back, do you see, like, how he played the game? Like, he actually.
Nikki Garcia
I'm like, oh, my God.
Bri Garcia
It almost like I look back and I'm like, you could tell he was a traitor.
Nikki Garcia
Yeah, well, when I watch. But. But it's so different in person. See.
Bri Garcia
Oh, no, I get that. It's like me thinking a quarterback. Like, come on, he was open and like, come on, he has a lot of guys rushing at him.
Nikki Garcia
Exactly. Like what you guys see and even me being a fan going in it is way, what we think is obvious is not obvious in person. So Bob, to me, like, because I got to know him so well before he got picked. Yeah. Never changed. Carolyn, she was so loud and vibrant in the beginning. And then after, when Alan picked, the traders became super quiet. So that's when I felt like, is she a traitor? Because she was so odd. Bob just stayed loud from day one till the end.
Bri Garcia
I could see that that could throw you.
Nikki Garcia
Yeah. So like, he. He never changed. Never changed to us. And. And like, he was so uplifting and positive. Like, and I. He protected, you know, Gabby and I. Like, he. And those are great to have when you have good friends that are traders. But he was very uplifting with Gabby and I when we were in challenges and stuff. And so we. Gabby and I actually were both truly hurt.
Bri Garcia
Like, I bet.
Nikki Garcia
And that's why we didn't have over the top reactions. Because think of when you get really shocked. Oh, yeah. You just gasp and you're frozen. You're like, right, Right.
Bri Garcia
That's being shocked.
Nikki Garcia
That's being shocked.
Bri Garcia
Yeah.
Nikki Garcia
That's why I was like. That made. That made people start to think I was a traitor. No, the one who threw their chair and did all that. That's what I'm like. Okay, this isn't overreaction. Just like, you know what I mean?

Nikki Garcia
Okay, let's go to the last episode.
Bri Garcia
Because everyone's probably dying to know your feelings. So what?
Nikki Garcia
When.
Bri Garcia
So what were your feelings when you saw Chrishell pull in Boston Rob and tell him that she thought you were a traitor?
Nikki Garcia
I was so shocked. I couldn't believe it. I was like. Because we did the challenge that day together, we all drove together. So when that happened, and, like. So let me just tell you about that day. You could tell I'm off that day, and you will understand this, and all my other moms will understand this. Do you know how majority of the time, a lot of us moms get worse periods after babies? Yeah, like you and I talk about all the time, Bri. That was day two of my period.
Bri Garcia
Oh, day two. Is the worst.
Nikki Garcia
I. I don't know if I. Cause I was overseas because I wasn't getting a lot of sleep because of, like, the game playing. It was like, ultra, period. Like, I mean, they had to go out and make a special run for me to get plus. Like, plus size super plus.
Bri Garcia
Because you were bleeding so bad, Bri.
Nikki Garcia
I was bleeding so bad. So what? People don't know that game. And I. If I what didn't bleed through my pants, I still couldn't get that beat people on time. I was like, what? That ain't my style of game. Finishing riddles. Like, I'm not a real person. And if I. If I do get a riddle, it takes about 20 minutes. So, yeah, that game wasn't for me anyways. But what you guys don't see, I literally have a producer sitting, like, standing next to me. Like, have to check my pants because I bled through my pants to, like, if I. I was trying, like, they. I had to keep checking. So, like, what people don't realize is I sat in there feeling so embarrassed. And I know Ro. I can't wait to talk to Rob because I'm like, I know Rob heard the combo, but, like, I'm sitting there bleeding through my pants.
Bri Garcia
You didn't tell me this.
Nikki Garcia
I thought I told you.
Bri Garcia
No.
Nikki Garcia
So I was. Was very quiet in that game because I just. You know when you have that, like, when you know you're bleeding through your pants and you're like, I don't want anyone to look at me or see me. You just want to be in, like, a cage.
Bri Garcia
Yeah, that' embarrassing.
Nikki Garcia
And then I was like, I need to make sure I'm the last one to walk out. And all I could think about, like, you see me in the car, like, leaning down like this because my pain was so bad. Like, I was cramping so bad. I was bleeding so bad. Then we had to, like, clean my pants. Like. Like. Like. You guys don't understand. It was a miserable period day. Like, a day that I should have been in bed. Like, I felt like. And then on top of it, I was missing Mateo really bad because think of your emotions are high, like, you know, period. And. And, like, so the whole game for me was my PMS week into my period, which is wrapped.
Bri Garcia
But.
Nikki Garcia
But it was, like, so bad that day. And with the girls all knew, like, because we all have this changing room. So a lot of them knew, but maybe they thought I was lying, but I. It was, like, really, really bad. And so for that game, I was like, I'M not. I just kept thinking, like, if I would jump over the thing to run to the urns. Urns, what are they called? Yearns or urns? Like, am I gonna bleed everywhere? Is everyone gonna laugh at me? Like, it was just a really uncomfortable game for me. So I guess that made me suspicious to her. And then I guess my reaction in the car. But I can't believe Bob told people he thought I was a traitor. So of course I'd have like a reaction of my jaw dropped.
Bri Garcia
Right.
Nikki Garcia
Well, I was so shocked. But I guess that made her feel. Made Chrishell feel that I was a.
Bri Garcia
Traitor because he's a big time gamer and here you have.
Nikki Garcia
Well, she thought I overreacted him thinking that. That Bob, not Rob, Bob the drag queen. But can you imagine driving and then Rob's telling me like, oh yeah, by the way, Nikki, Bob the drag queen thought you were a traitor and says up, even though Rob's lying, but I don't know that. And I go, what? He said I was a traitor? And so she thought it was an overreaction.
Bri Garcia
I don't know, I think that's an excuse.
Nikki Garcia
But like.
Bri Garcia
But anyways, I think that was an excuse.
Nikki Garcia
Yeah. But you know, this is the one thing that I gotta give Chrishell. Like in any of them, it is crazy how quickly you can get manipulated in there. Like where you can have a strong feeling on someone, but someone feeds you something and your mind hears it and then you see one little thing and it's automatic. Like, yes, they're right. Oh my gosh.
Bri Garcia
And you get stuck on it like.
Nikki Garcia
I was on it. So I don't blame her for feeling what she felt.
Bri Garcia
Well, and now when you look back at it, you weren't to people off well, that. And you didn't give a big reaction to people when Bob got out.
Nikki Garcia
Right?
Bri Garcia
Right. So they might think, oh, because you knew he was a traitor, because you're a traitor.
Nikki Garcia
Yeah.
Bri Garcia
I could see people spiraling and starting to use all the little details.
Nikki Garcia
Well, and you know, this is. There's a few things I want to say because now that I'm done and I could say whatever, because I don't know what else is going on, but now being in it and now watching it like it did, it's messy. It's a messy season. The traders are all over the place. And now I know why it felt so messy in there. Because the traders were not aligned. So they were all doing their own thing. Everyone was going into the roundtables confused as fuck. And now it makes perfect sense because majority of us would just all vote for the same person because I think everyone would be set on their person. And you actually don't get a lot of time before the roundtable. You get about an hour. And I think the traders just ran everywhere and confused everyone. So everyone walked in confused, and then everyone's discussing. And you guys have to understand. You see small park, that roundtable were there for a long time. Then you get more confused, and then all of a sudden, you don't know when Alan's about to say, write the name, and you can't even say another word. So then you get hooked on what everyone's saying, and it's just messy. And so I just feel like it was easy to put my name down. And this is my thing. Majority people like cowboys. I stood up for myself, and I don't even care. I stood up for myself. And honestly, then when my character started to get attacked, I was like, I'm done. I honestly, like, when Samuel go, I wish she fought Martha. No, I'll. I was done. Like, when Sierra said all her things about my character, and then when Chrishell spoke, I was like, I'm done, everyone. I just didn't even care if anyone was going to put my name down because at that point, I'm like, I thought I had an alliance. And then when she spoke up and I think it was edited, but because she also brought up about, like, Missy Mateo, and that made me go, I'm done. Like, I don't now. It's like, I'm out here now playing on my own, but it's. It's just my. Because I'm not over the top. Like, look at me. I'm getting dissed and dragged. And I was actually really playing the game. Like Dylan, I had great talks. I was really trying to get traders. And the thing is, is. And I know what people are talking about online, it's so obvious. Danielle, by the way, a lot of people felt that way. We're just. You're not getting a lot of our green screens of us saying that about Danielle. But what I've learned from other seasons, being a viewer, sometimes when you know so much, someone's a trader, you have to just wait a little bit. But see, then everything was messy, so that didn't work out.
Bri Garcia
Yeah.
Nikki Garcia
And then that's my one regret and that I held onto that night. The next day, I'm like, I should have just been like, everyone put down Danielle's name and trust me, we'll get a trader. And I regret it every day. Like, every day. I'm like, you wanted to say it. And then because Sierra attacked me and we were so on it. Because I did really think Sierra could have been a trader because I had the whole everyone who was talking about whole coffin logic that a trader had to be in there. And, like, I was like, well, maybe that's still true. So. But I felt like then, because we had so much back and forth, I got a little hook, too, hooked on it. And then I never spelled her name. Oh, my God. I mean, because when I looked at the list, I was like, oh, I think she spells it in a unique way. Not like a typical Sierra. And I could just never get it right. So sorry, Sierra. I never could get your name right.
Bri Garcia
That's hilarious.
Nikki Garcia
I was always thinking S I E R R A. So I knew she. She. She did the C way. And so I'd be like, C era.
Bri Garcia
Like C E R R A. I.
Nikki Garcia
Did C E A R A or something. I don't know. I never got it right. I felt bad. That's okay.
Bri Garcia
We suck at spelling.
Nikki Garcia
Yeah, we suck at spelling.
Bri Garcia
But I have to ask you, Gabby, who one of your good friends? One of the Bambies.
Nikki Garcia
I know also, when I strong enough, also went against you. Yeah. I mean, look, I was really, like, in the moment. Like, I literally was trying not to cry just because I was, like, shocked by it. And you know me, I'm like, I'm an identical twin. So, like, I know what strong sisterhood means. And like, also being a part of sports, like, I would do anything for my fellow teammates, you know, whoever I share a locker room with. Like, we ride or die till the end. So I was definitely shook and I was like, oh. Like, it just made me then feel like maybe I don't really have anyone here. And, like, I'm. My period's bad. I'm missing my son, and maybe, like, I'm just. Everyone hates me here because I'm not loud and obnoxious and I don't laugh from my gut. Even though with Gabby and Bob thing to say, well, you have to understand emotions are high and, like, you don't.
Bri Garcia
Laugh from your gut.
Nikki Garcia
I know.
Bri Garcia
I'm actually a silent laugher. My laugh comes from nowhere except, well. But I didn't mean the funny.
Nikki Garcia
The crazy thing is I actually left a lot in there. Bob would make my cheeks hurt. Like, I. Like, you know when your smiles start at her. Like, he would make me laugh so hard. So it was just not around them, I guess, but, like, I was.
Bri Garcia
Hasn't called Scraping. Scraping.
Nikki Garcia
But I. The thing is. And I know I'm maybe too nice.
Bri Garcia
Yeah.
Nikki Garcia
But emotions get high in there, so I get it. Like, you know, everyone's like, you online. Like, you better not talk to Chris, Shel and Gabby again. No, they're seriously, like, great friends. That is a game. I don't take anything personal. And everything I was going through, Chrishell would check up on me, like, almost every week and be like, you don't have to respond. Just want to make sure you're okay. And, like, a lot of people didn't do that. And Gabby checked on me, but Chrishell was someone who would literally check up on me almost every week. That's amazing. Yeah. Like, she's a really good person, and I feel bad for her because, you know, a lot of people are saying stuff, you know, to her online. But I honestly. And I guess maybe it was not the greatest mindset to have, but I'm like, this is a game. Like, I don't. I didn't take anything personal. Did in the moment. I was devastated because, like, I'm like, oh, shit. My. My girls turned on me because it was more than an alliance to me, but maybe that was my issue. Like, I treat. I. I looked at it as a sisterhood.
Bri Garcia
I know, but we saw Love Island. When women get together, they make waves.
Nikki Garcia
No, I agree. I. And honestly, if we would have stayed strong, I think we could have crushed it. We would have. I think Gabby, Kell and I truly could have went to the end because there's a lot of conversations you didn't see us having where we were, like, starting to really get together. And I think if we had one or two more episodes, we would have gotten Traders out and we would have been really strong. And then I think one of us probably would have got recruited, but we were really, I think, could have did a lot of great things together.
Bri Garcia
So when you look back at this season, you wish you would have yelled out at everyone and told them, danielle's a traitor.
Nikki Garcia
I do.
Bri Garcia
What else do you wish?
Nikki Garcia
I wish I would have done put her name down right now, what may. And maybe if Cup Morton will know. I actually like how I went out because, like, and a lot of people loved what I said on my out. And. And it was true. Like, you can't go into this game, especially if you watch the Traders uk. They're not TV personalities.
Bri Garcia
Right.
Nikki Garcia
So you. Even as a TV personality, you can't go into this game assuming, like, okay, but she was a heel in 2018. So, like, if you see her character there or. Do you know what I mean? Or because they're a housewife, like, you gotta treat it person to person. But also, it is a game. So how does this person play this game? Like, maybe they play it more quiet. Maybe they play it more loud because they want to distract. Or is she more quiet because she's really trying to figure things out? Or just watch and see what's going on. So I just really wanted to leave that with people. Like, it's fun to be a part of this game, and let's. Let's cut down the way people play. But when you start cutting down character, like, who they are as a person, I just think that draws a line of, like, you can't judge people in that way.
Bri Garcia
Right.
Nikki Garcia
Do you know what I mean? And so judge them on how they play the game. So that was, like, my biggest thing. And honestly, at the end of the day, I truly did win because I will say it was time for me to go home. My baby boy needed me, and I. There was nothing better than getting home to him. It was perfect timing for us. And. And now I know, like, I had an incredible experience, and now I know, like, stuff like, that's not for me. Like, you will never see me on another gang show.
Bri Garcia
Yeah.
Nikki Garcia
But it's okay.
Bri Garcia

Check atTrue Religion.com. is there anything that you wish like you could say to anyone from this past season like a Sierra, a Tom Sandoval?
Nikki Garcia
Well, I, I love, I actually, you know the thing that was crazy when Sierra came after me too, I will say is I had incredible conversations with Sierra. She is extremely smart, she's a nurse and what she's doing with breast cancer research is absolutely incredible. I really loved getting to know her on that level. Like I'll admit, you know, we both got put in an unfortunate situation. We are part of, you know, the coffin part. And what people don't realize is like Sarah and I were in those coffins. We had to wait for everyone to leave, then we had to wait for the Traders to meet, then for the Traders sleep. I mean we were in there for like two hours that night. Sierra and I didn't get to bed till like I wanna say two or three in the morning. We had to be up at like 6:30 something like when we went into breakfast a day we just both were exhausted and tired. It was just a lot and so, and then we had all those back to back days of filming. I mean they're very, very long days. So I just feel like that was really tough on us. I got to get to know her. I liked it because we had these van rides together and I really enjoy her as a person. She's a really awesome woman, like doing great things. So. And by the way, what you guys don't see is the edit out. She was a part of the Bambi's. Okay, I gotta say two things and I'm gonna also bring this up at the reunion. In the beginning they made Gabby stay up. Bambi's. We were named the Bambi's and we all laughed about it. And Sierra was a part of that. It was four of us. I wanted us to go take a Spice Girls photo in front of the cast. So we never got time to because we found out everyone was calling us the Bambi. So the Bambi's originally were US 4 and they made Gabby say that we did not name ourselves the Bambi's. I need to talk to Gabby about that because I'm like wait, I heard the traitors named us that because we all were like hanging out, having fun. Then Sierra started to hang out more with Bob, Harper and Dolores. Then she started traveling to challenges more with them. So then it really just became Gabby, Chrishell and I and Gabby and I probably hung out the most out of all of it. Gabby and I were super tight so I was so I was like, wait, no, they all named us that. And then we ended up being like, that's a cute nickname. Like, cool. We're the Bambi's. But it's weird because Sierra was a part of that in the beginning.
Bri Garcia
Oh, wow.
Nikki Garcia
I know. Like, I was so bummed when we. We kept all, like, on our days of doing photos and stuff. I kept wanting us to go do a Spice Girl photo, but. Yeah. So I don't know. Well, the reunion, I could already. Danielle put out there warning everyone, like, just wait, because she's getting dragged really bad online.
Bri Garcia
For what?
Nikki Garcia
For being a messy traitor and just, you know, but she's like, I just can't wait for everyone at the reunion. You're all going to hear to know. And I'm like, oh, shit. I want to know my part of it. I don't know.
Bri Garcia
Do you think?
Nikki Garcia
I don't think so, but I don't know. I have no idea.
Bri Garcia
Are you excited for.
Nikki Garcia
I think it's between the Survivor people.
Bri Garcia
Yeah.
Nikki Garcia
Are you excited to go to the.
Bri Garcia
Reunion to call people out?
Nikki Garcia
Well, this is the thing. Everyone's going to want me to call people out, but I don't take. I don't take it personal because it's a game. I'm so excited to see everyone. So I'm like, people are going to want me to walk in being like a housewife, like, and you, and you. But, like, I'm gonna be. I mean, I'm gonna be honest with things, but, like, I just. It's so weird. I am not like that person at all.
Bri Garcia
You are.
Nikki Garcia
Like, where I saw the reunion last year and people were taking things personal in my head. I'm like, but this is a game, right? Like, people are just playing the game.
Bri Garcia
Give people what they want.
Nikki Garcia
Even Boston Rob. Well, then why don't you come with me and then I'll let you unleash on people and I'll just be like, sorry, sorry. But like, even Boston Rob, I still, like, adore that guy. Like, he's just playing his game. I. You know, he's the reason why. A major reason.
Bri Garcia
Yeah.
Nikki Garcia
Why I got banished.
Bri Garcia
Damn.
Nikki Garcia
You know, and. Oh, oh, I do want to say one thing. And. And I'm going to bring this up also at the reunion because a lot of people online are like, how do they not know about. How can they not figure out Rob? Okay, when we are in quarantine, hiding from everyone and everything, you're by yourself in a room alone for three days. Well, not alone, but you know what? I Mean, yeah, you have to read a rule book. And they are strict about it. Like, it is a rule, thick rule book. So you know the exact rules of the game in there. It says, a trader is not allowed to expose a traitor. So when that whole thing went down and then people had their theories, I was like, but that can't be right because you can't do that. So that's why I stuck up for him last week at that round table. And everyone's like, oh, Nikki, it was so obvious. No. But yes, I agree. Like, your guys's theories. It would be very obvious because you guys know they're traders. We don't know that. But I'm thinking, like, there's no way, because he'd be kicked out or fined like that. It was in the rule book. A trader can't expose a trader. So that's why I, in my head was like. When Sam brought it up at the roundtable, I was like, but there's no way. Like, you just. A trader couldn't do that to a trader. Well, found that out. Guess they could. So if I would have known that, I would have felt like for sure. But in my head, I'm like, no, he would. He would be kicked out.
Bri Garcia
Dang. I mean, it just is like the brain is working constantly, honestly.
Nikki Garcia
But those are like so many, so many of the things the viewers don't know, you know, and it's like, wait, no, this is why Price. Some people weren't going after him for sure. It's because, like, there. Can you imagine if they didn't have that world and trader, like. And that's what's the issue with the season. The traders are just going after each other.
Bri Garcia
Yeah.
Nikki Garcia
It makes it messy. So.
Bri Garcia
Wow.
Nikki Garcia
Yeah. There's going to be a watch next season, Season four. And I hear they're already, like, booking people. I saw that online last night there. I think they're gonna get really strict with the traders. Like, they're gonna just tell them, like, you can't do that. And honestly, you shouldn't because it makes the game not. It's. It's too chaotic.
Bri Garcia
Yeah. And you don't want that.
Nikki Garcia
No, you. The traders have to be in an alliance even if they don't like each other. Give us that drama, you know, when you all are together. But, like, to then wanna just take each other out the whole time, that's just too complicated.
Bri Garcia
Way too complicated.
Nikki Garcia
Complicated.
Bri Garcia
All right. This podcast is brought to you by Kleenex Lotion Tissues.

Check@True Religion.com Nikki well, it was fun watching you on the Traders and I know everyone's sad to see you go, but what's a little inspiration and affirmation you could leave not only with our listeners, but all the Trader viewers.
Nikki Garcia
You know, I know I've said this quote before, but we've podcasted for so many years, so it's been a long, long time. But I'm bringing it back because of what I went out with at the roundtable and it's be the change you want to see in the world. Now I get that doesn't deal with, you know, don't judge a book by its cover. I should maybe see that one. But also whether you're playing a game, whether you're in your career and you're in a boardroom and you have a pitch or you're doing something for your school, I don't know what it is be you, play you. Because I think you will walk away loving the outcome no matter what. If you pretend to be someone else, you are going to just get that back and you're not going to like how that feels at the end of the day. And also, don't judge people for who they are in this world. There's going to be loud people, there's going to be quiet people, there's going to be silly people, people that laugh a certain way, people that do things differently. It doesn't mean that they're blah or they're not a good person or they're not. They're not great. It's just they're different than you.
Bri Garcia
Right.
Nikki Garcia
Or different than your friend group or your family. And so just be open to people.
Bri Garcia
Yeah. And the people that thrive are authentically them, you know, not authentic. It's a very tough road, let me tell you.
Nikki Garcia
Right. And I went in there authentically me. We always have.
Bri Garcia
We have.
Nikki Garcia
And I left the game feeling great, proud of myself that I did it, also knowing what I don't want to do in the future. And on top of that, I made great friends. And I don't take anything personal because it's just a game. And I have grateful for everyone that I became close with. Right.
Bri Garcia
And haters gonna hate. Nikki's gonna ball. And we all loved her exit speech. I feel like it brought a tear to everyone's eye.
Nikki Garcia
It really did.
Bri Garcia
But I will just remind you all, the win for me is that I do get to go home to my.
Nikki Garcia
You saying my. You're saying my speech?
Bri Garcia
Yes. Oh, it's how you ended the episode of Traitors, your last episode. We're going to end it right here with Nikki's exit speech.
Nikki Garcia
This is what she said.
Bri Garcia
The win for me is that I do get to go home to my son. The loss for all of you is.
Nikki Garcia
That I'm a faithful.
Bri Garcia
Mic drop in your face.
Nikki Garcia
Yeah, I liked everything I said before that too, but that was truly the win for me as I got to go home to Tay Tay. I do agree. And it was a loss for everyone that ran table because I was a damn good, faithful.
Bri Garcia
Yes, you were right.
Nikki Garcia
Like, everyone's saying online, they go, she never gave Trader vibes ever. Like, never gave it. And I'm like, I really didn't because I wasn't. I don't know. You know.
Bri Garcia
Well, Traders has come to an end for you.
Nikki Garcia
Yes. Yeah.

Bri Garcia
And we'll also put up a thing. We've been putting some polls up for questions to ask me. We'll put a poll to questions you can ask Nikki and maybe we do an episode of. I mean, we've had a lot of voicemails and questions come in, so maybe we'll do an episode of, you know, hearing from you guys and answering all the fun questions you have for us. All right. The Nikki & Brie Show - Episode Summary: "Spoiler Alert: Castle Confidential"
Release Date: January 27, 2025
Introduction
In the latest episode of The Nikki & Brie Show titled "Spoiler Alert: Castle Confidential," hosts Nikki Garcia and her twin sister Bri delve deep into Nikki's tumultuous experience on the reality game show Traders. Released on January 27, 2025, this episode offers listeners an unfiltered glimpse into the challenges, emotions, and pivotal moments Nikki faced during her stint on the competitive show.
Nikki’s Journey on Traders
Nikki Garcia (01:33): “Happy Monday everyone. Welcome back to the Nikki and Bri Show.”
Nikki begins by expressing her mixed feelings about competing on Traders. As a newcomer to the gaming show format, Nikki shares her initial excitement about participating in a show she had long admired. However, her enthusiasm quickly gives way to the realization that the competitive environment starkly contrasts with her true self.
Nikki Garcia (02:04): “But I could finally talk about it. I know when I was edited.”
She touches upon the editing process, hinting at how her portrayal might have been manipulated for television, leaving her eager to share her genuine experience with her audience.
Challenges Faced: Beyond the Game
Nikki Garcia (03:11): “I am not a gamer. I will never do another game show again.”
Nikki candidly discusses her struggles on the show, emphasizing that her competitive spirit shines in sports and entrepreneurship, not in the strategic maneuvers required by game shows. The rigorous filming schedule, extending from early mornings to late nights, left her physically and emotionally drained.
Nikki Garcia (07:11): “Now, what you don't see on this season is actually Brittany and I connected a lot, but our conversations were a lot about kids.”
One of the most personal challenges Nikki reveals is the emotional toll of being away from her son, Mateo. With strict communication rules limiting her interactions to brief Sunday calls, the separation was taxing, exacerbated by the physical discomfort of enduring her period during the competition.
Nikki Garcia (21:00): “It was a miserable period day. Like, a day that I should have been in bed. Like, I felt like...”
This vulnerability showcases the unseen hardships participants endure, balancing personal well-being with the demands of reality television.
Navigating Relationships and Betrayals
Nikki Garcia (15:57): “So when I look back, I wasn't two people. And you didn't give a big reaction to people when Bob got out.”
A significant portion of the episode revolves around Nikki's relationships with fellow cast members, particularly Bob the Drag Queen. Nikki expresses profound shock and disappointment upon discovering Bob's betrayal, a revelation that left her grappling with feelings of trust and authenticity.
Nikki Garcia (19:32): “I was so shocked. I couldn't believe it.”
Her reaction to betrayal was raw and unfiltered, contrasting with the dramatic portrayals often amplified for television. Nikki emphasizes her authentic response, which was sometimes misconstrued by viewers as overreaction or instability.
Nikki Garcia (23:29): “But like... this is the one thing that I gotta give Chrishell. Like in any of them, it is crazy how quickly you can get manipulated in there.”
The dynamics within Traders led to strained relationships, with alliances shifting and trust eroding rapidly. Nikki recounts moments where strategic gameplay blurred the lines of genuine friendship, making it challenging to navigate her social landscape within the show.
Reflections and Regrets
Nikki Garcia (26:48): “And that's my one regret and that I held onto that night. The next day, I'm like, I should have just been like, everyone put down Danielle's name and trust me, we'll get a trader.”
Looking back, Nikki reflects on pivotal decisions that influenced her journey on Traders. She expresses regret over not acting swiftly against perceived traitors, feeling that timely actions might have altered her fate within the game.
Nikki Garcia (31:50): “So you. Even as a TV personality, you can't go into this game assuming, like, okay, but she was a heel in 2018.”
Her hindsight reveals the complexities of being a public figure in a strategic game environment, where past personas don't necessarily dictate current alliances or betrayals.
Advice and Final Thoughts
Nikki Garcia (43:02): “I've podcasted for so many years, so it's been a long, long time. But I'm bringing it back because of what I went out with at the roundtable and it's 'Be the change you want to see in the world.'”
Nikki imparts valuable life lessons drawn from her Traders experience. She emphasizes the importance of authenticity, urging listeners to remain true to themselves in all endeavors, whether in games, careers, or personal relationships.
Nikki Garcia (44:18): “Be you, play you. Because I think you will walk away loving the outcome no matter what. If you pretend to be someone else, you are going to just get that back and you're not going to like how that feels at the end of the day.”
Her message resonates with the core values she upholds, encouraging self-acceptance and genuine interactions over strategic facades.
Nikki’s Exit Speech and Closure
Nikki Garcia (43:02): “We've podcasted for so many years, so it's been a long, long time. But I'm bringing it back because of what I went out with at the roundtable and it's 'Be the change you want to see in the world.'”
As the episode draws to a close, Nikki shares excerpts from her poignant exit speech on Traders, reflecting on her departure and the lessons learned. Her final words encapsulate her journey—celebrating her authentic self and the relationships she valued, despite the competitive pressures of the show.
