On this episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, the twins are feeling the sunshine and setting their intentions—it’s officially Summer Bucket List season, baby! From hot pink acrylics to sheer cover-ups, Nikki and Brie are getting real about what they’re manifesting, building, and working on all summer long. Nikki’s goal? To feel confident and strong in a swimsuit by Matteo’s birthday. She’s embracing her fitness journey, cooking healthier for her family, and cutting back on sugar—with a few popsicle experiments along the way. Brie’s diving into a full-on Eat, Pray, Love summer: getting back into the kitchen, lacing up her running shoes, and helping her kids (and Bryan!) become stronger swimmers. They also get nostalgic over their childhood summers and chat about soothing rituals, summer reads, and why playing with toys as adults isn’t weird... it’s actually therapeutic. The twins finish up by putting their song lyric memories to the test in a game of Summer Song Association (wait ‘til...

Welcome back to the Nikki and Bri Show. Hello, Nikki.
B
Hi, Bri.
A
And happy birthday. Bonita. Bonita. Speak easy.
B
I know it turned one.
A
It turned one. Not the actual wine, but are tasting. Yes. But you know, it's really fun because you know, our last episode when we were talking about win something for us is, you know, it's hard to keep open places and we've done it with Bonita. Bonita.
B
Heck yes, sis.
A
So that's been really great. So we've learned a lot, that's for sure. And we actually have a lot of big things coming for that place.
B
A lot.
A
So the net with the next year, it's like when you're going to come visit, you're going to see it, you know, just growing, which is really fun.
B
Bri and I are just waiting on some permits, but the plans that we had someone draw up for the outside space, it's like a French garden. It's unreal. Amazing. We just have to wait for a few permits or we would have already had it done. So I cannot wait till we can do that project. I mean, the designs run real and.
A
It'S been really hard on me cuz I usually go in every weekend, but I haven't been in the last two or three weekends.
B
Yeah.
A
So I'm going to get there this coming. Well, not this. The next weekend. You'll see Bri in there.
B
We had a little Brian and Birdie pop in.
A
I know. And they loved.
B
It was really.
A
Birdie was like, I need to say hi to Emmy and Zach. And so Brian's like, okay. So they popped in and she loved it. Cute. I know. She. She loves it in there, which makes me so, so happy.
B
Oh, I love it.
A
I know. So, Nicole, I thought it'd be really fun, this episode to kind of talk about our summer bucket list. I mean, summer's right around the corner. I don't know about you, but I mean, I feel like probably in Arizona. I think this is the last week of school. But for us, I mean, we only have a couple more weeks and the kids are out of school.
B
Girl, I already got them summer nails.
A
And they look good.
B
I mean, they look good. I don't know what it is, but when I get acrylics, like this coffin with this pink, I just feel so hot.
A
I know. So I'm looking at your nails and I'm like, that looks really fun. But I'm going to get my nails done after this, and I think I'm going to.
B
Do you have to do fun?
A
No, I just think I'm going to get them buffed and then. And then the buff.
B
And then I feel like buff and the bush puff.
A
Okay. I don't have a bush.
B
Jeez.
A
But I will say this.
B
You do.
A
I definitely am gonna do gels. I know. I'm getting my. I'm gonna get gels for my toes.
B
Pick your toes. Because then you're gonna touch me and touch other things. As you were just digging into your toenail.
A
I Was trying to take the nail off. Okay, but this is my thing. I think I'm gonna stick with bubble bath. I wanted to go fun, but so boring. But I love the look of, like, a new.
B
I love it, too, but right now is the time to have fun. You just talked about summer energy. Put it on your toes.
A
So no shine and buff. But I don't feel like doing the whole gels on my fingers.
B
I mean, look, you don't have to, but yolo for the nails, so why not?
A
But, like, look at how natural.
B
So you picked your toes, and then you're picking your nails.
A
There's, like, a little thing under it. I mean, I can't let a little thing be under my fingernail. I mean, if you think about. I've not had anything on my fingernails for over a year. They're so healthy.
B
Well, then don't if you don't want.
A
But just have them trim them up.
B
But toes, at least go fun on your toes.
A
We'll see. We will see. Well, Nikki is definitely channeling her summer fun with her hot pink coffin nails. For me, I feel like this summer I'm going to really try to channel. You know, it's funny. Every year, I feel like there was hot girl summer. Last year was brat. Was it green or brat summer? I'm feeling. What's this summer gonna be?
B
I don't know, but I can't wait for it. I like when Gen Z's come up with names.
A
Is that what they. They're the ones.
B
I feel like it's the Gen Z's that do that.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah. I feel good at it.
A
Is there something, like, on your summer bucket list that you're gonna make happen this summer?
B
Okay, so. Because I've been training really hard, and I don't know, I. My goal would be by Mateo's birthday, which is July 31, that I actually will be the first time in five years that I feel comfortable putting a swimsuit on, like, bikini. So that's kind of like my goals. And I feel like with, like, how hard I've been lifting, I could get there. I just. I. You know, I've had moments of being semi confident in a swimsuit, but not really. Not since Teo. So I would love, like, okay, he's turned five. I'm now. I've been working this long now with a trainer, this and that. So that's my goal, my summer goal.
A
That's good.
B
Yeah.
A
I mean, I'm the same, but, you know, I kind of feel like I'll wear it Now I don't really care. I'm like, yeah, I feel good and that's all what matters. As long as if you feel good, right, like go out and rock it.
B
I'm just like I, I wear one pieces but I'm not really a one piece person.
A
So I get torn sometimes. I love one piece, but then I hate that I don't get tan on my stomach.
B
The thing is, is like my legs ain't my thing. Like I, I love my legs and I have strong muscular legs. But my type just is always looks so much better in a two piece than a one piece. But like, you know, it's like trying to find that balance. I'm at the poete like you know, to not be too sexy. But also, I don't know, my thighs have always been my insecurity. You know this for sure. I've always had issues with that and I've been loving. Like I wear the shorts with my one piece but I want to be able to like rock, not have to wear shorts, show my legs and like feel confident. That's my summer energy.
A
Well, I love wearing shorts. Like that's my thing. But you know, I'm always like, well.
B
Cuz as a mom you're always bending over. So it's nice when you wear shorts cuz you're always bending over, grabbing them, running after them. I mean I ran after Tay and I just think of everyone at the pool and I'm just have thighs slapping and I'm like, this is like why I put on my shorts. You know what I mean? You just, it's like you're chasing kids. So I don't want to be in like, you know, like my butt cheeks hanging.
A
Well, I will say actually I like wearing shorts during the day when I'm out doing things because I. Oh, he's feeling really hot. But I do love swimsuit cover ups. I like the sheer ones. I feel like you can keep it on the whole time and then it's almost like your sunscreen. Like I wear sunscreen but then it's also like a sunscreen.
B
Yeah. What's your, your summer goal or what is it? You asked me my summer goal. Bucket list or bucket list. Oh, bucket and I. But that was like a good bucket list. Mine, I mean real bucket list would be like get me back to like Como.
A
Well there you go. That's like a good bucket.
B
Yeah. I miss Lake Como. That 40th birthday trip was bomb.
A
I mean no one could have a better one. Honestly, I would challenge anyone.
B
Yeah, it Was so good.
A
Yeah. Well, definitely number one is having my kids be confident swimmers. Oh, gosh.
B
Seriously, I don't. The name of that place we need.
A
I need. I know to call them, but I will say this. I don't know why they're not. It's not clicking. But it clicked with Buddy last year, and he was so great. And then it's like, because we've been out of it a little bit now I'm starting to pick up a. A little bit. But it's weird to me because we are such great swimmers at a young age. So with them it's like. And I'm trying to.
B
We haven't had, like, a consistent class or coach, and I think that's like. Like what you need. You need to have a really good swim teacher, and it has to be consistent. But we in Napa Valley, there's not a place that's all year long. Like, I've seen some of, like, people in Salt Lake City, they have an indoor swim lesson place that they go all year long. It's like doing dance class or T ball. Like, they're always in it. See, here, we don't. We don't have that. And then, I mean, I was going to take Tato to the pool the other day and the wind picked up, and because of ear infections, I'm like, I can't take them to the pool. We need, like a good indoor place. That's for training.
A
Yeah. But Brian and I, that's like both our big goal this summer.
B
We're like, we're gonna make nothing.
A
Like kids, great swimmers. We're at the end of the summer, he and I are gonna be like, I know.
B
That's my goal. That's a good goal.
A
It's a good one.
B
Yeah.
A
And so we're definitely. I mean, Brian needs to learn how to swim.
B
I mean. Yeah.
A
He dog Ryan only knows how to dog paddle.
B
That's wild.
A
And he's one hell of a dog paddler, let me tell you.
B
Yeah.
A
Like, I'm sometimes kind of crazy. Yeah. Especially when he used to have his big beard and his long hair. And when you'd see him, like, dog paddling around, people thought he was joking.
B
Yeah.
A
But he did look like an animal.
B
Like, I was just like, I'll never forget our first time. We all saw that. Like, well, at least John and I, and we were filming, I think divas. Total divas. But you guys were just mind blown. We were like, yeah, because he jumped off the thing and just started dog paddling.
A
I mean, when Brian and I go kayaking. I make him wear a life jacket.
B
Oh, you have to.
A
I mean, I wear one too, but sometimes, like, you should always.
B
Why not?
A
I know, but where we're at, like.
B
Like, I like to swear to Tim.
A
But with him, I'm like, nop. Because I ain't trying to grab you and. And put you on my back. No. But I mean, so I really have a whole household of not great swimmers.
B
Yeah. And Frenchies. They don't know.
A
They say they. Yeah. So I'm just like.
B
This episode of the Nicki and Bri show is brought to you by McDonald's. All new McCrispy strips. New McCrispy strips are here. It's chicken made for dippin' Tender, juicy white meat chicken with a golden brown peppery breading. It's chicken so good it deserves its own sauce. The creamy chili McCrispy strip dip. A sauce that's creamy, savory, and sweet with a little heat. Mmm. But it works with any of their sauces, of course. I mean, my go to sauce and always my favorite favorite sauce is barbecue sauce. I feel like you can never go wrong with MC Crispy strips. And some barbecue always hits the spot for me. Always my favorite Choice. So new McCrispy strips with a new creamy chili McCrispy strip dip. It's chicken made for dipping.
A

So that's like a big thing for me this year or this summer. That's like number one. And if I can conquer that, I will be the happiest mother around. And then I guess for me, too, it's. I always go up to the lake for the summer, and that's always where I kick start my running. I know. That's where I kick off my running again. Yeah, it's kind of.
B
You run there a lot.
A
A lot. And, you know, since I've moved away kind of from you, I have not been running at all. And I was telling. Yeah, I miss it a lot.
B
Well, that's why you stay close to your girl, because we were there for each Other all the time. Well, because I used to run her.
A
Run on my own. But then I kind of felt like I don't like doing that anymore. I have my headphones in. I can't hear anything.
B
I never. When I'm by myself walking or running, I never have both. Headphones in.
A
Right.
B
Whatever's facing the cars, like on the road, that ear is always out.
A
Right. So I had to go gluten free. Right. And I'm like. Bummed me out. It bummed me out that all sudden I took. There's foods I love that were taken.
B
Yeah.
A
This is the thing with running. We live in a world nowadays where you can't trust people.
B
No.
A
And you don't know. Even if you live in a safe community, you don't know who's in and out running. Especially woman by herself. You're a target. Yeah. It's one of those things. I feel like we have to give up.
B
No, it's true.
A
Unless you're in a group. Okay.
B
Too many stories.
A
Yeah, there's too many. And you know, so for me, it's like I have to go on a treadmill. Unless I'm go with you or Brian or something.
B
But.
A
But Tahoe. I go to this one where there's a bunch of people.
B
Yeah. Where it's made.
A
It's like no one can like. Yeah, it's made for that. So it's like nice. And I'll just go back and forth.
B
I don't care.
A
So that's like really, that's kind of.
B
Fun that you get to look forward to that first summer, you know, and then just, you know, if you can invest in a treadmill here, you really get the hang of it.
A
I have a gym I go to.
B
Oh yeah. Duh. But I like, I love how I turned my one room into a gym now. And it just happened. It's been a few days. But like to now have a treadmill inside.
A
That's great.
B
Yeah.
A
Yeah. So that's like a big thing. Getting back into running always makes me feel so good. Especially when you do it up in the mountains. Like, I'm always like so out of breath in the beginning because you realize what the altitude does. Yeah. But it's amazing what it does to my endurance. And so I always feel really great. And I always love how like my knees and my legs start to look like it's so. That's like big on my bucket list. And then I told Brian, it's so funny to get back into cooking. Like, you know, my cooking. I've Done lately. My kids are very simple eaters.
B
Very. And then same with tay.
A
But then what it does is like it makes me not want to cook because then it's. Even though I did make. Brian, I had this incredible stir fry the other day and I'm like, need to do this more. But sometimes I'm like, I don't know. But I'm like, wait, it shouldn't be. I don't know. I need to just do it for you and I then Brian.
B
Right.
A
So I have a bunch of like different recipe ideas. I love their farmers market up there. And I go, chef Bri is coming back.
B
Yes.
A
And I'm like, I have, you know, cuz majority of our family now we're gluten free, dairy free. So I've already researched some great recipes and I'm like, I'm going to do it. Yeah.
B
Dang. You're going to have like eat, pray, love, summer.
A
Yeah.
B
It's nice by the lake. You're so lucky. I'm. I want to do the same with cooking because I have a lot of great recipes and one of my other goals and I know I was speaking to you about this was just like less sugar fruito and you know, even for myself. But we love sweets and chocolate. I mean, he'll tell you and everyone else we. I passed that down. Yes. And I'm like, oh, I already have mom guilt over it. But I was like, you know, I've have pretty much she's like kind of a nutritionist and all these other things in my life right now. So she gave me a ton of recipes and forteo to help with that and myself like, okay, these are things you need to make and always have in your fridge. So when you two get sweet tooths. And that's what I really. That's like my goal because here I have all these recipes and I haven't even started to do them and I need to.
A
Yeah. And you know, Brian would always make us. Remember when you make all his avocado. Yeah, Moose.
B
That one. And then the whole 30. What's the whole 30? They have you put in the freezer with the dates.
A
I don't remember.
B
Those are like my favorite favorite. That cures my craving instantly.
A
What is it called?
B
I'll have to get it. I'll look for it. I still have the recipe.
A
But yeah. So I told Brian, you need to start making that. But you know, it's interesting because Emily, we were talking and she was sending me some great. That's the nutritionist. Nicole's Talking about who did a lot of our. Our kids testing and we did some testing with. But we should actually bring her on the podcast because now we should. Now that, you know, we're gonna have our kids home all summer, like, we're all getting into that place. We should bring her on because, you guys, she has the best idea for you're gonna die bone broth popsicles for kids.
B
Yeah.
A
But they won't even realize it. Like, she gives us these amazing, amazing.
B
And that's why I'm so mad I haven't done it. Because it's the most incredible stuff that. That our kids need without them even realizing it. And we'll bring her on so she.
A
Can, like, give everyone, inspire all of you to be the healthiest chef this summer. Because I will say this, like, summer. Summer fun is definitely a thing. Like at my house, Friday nights, like our fun night.
B
Yeah.
A
And so we definitely. Like, I don't. I'm not strict or crazy, but I, you know, I'm always like, health is important. And I always feel like summer is that one time where you can just really get into the hang of, like, cooking and having the family around and just, you know, all the fun stuff. Like Brian's been teaching the kids to play Clue.
B
Oh.
A
And they're loving it.
B
Yeah.
A
And so Brian's really great. And, you know, also so good with all that. Yeah. Brittany. Of sitting the kids down, really teaching them board games. But you guys, Buddy plays more board games than anyone I know. Like, even when we're alone here at the house, he'll just sit and he'll play, like, against himself. And then Birdie's our reader, but Brian really works with them. So I really recommend the summer, like, bring in the board games. It's really fun. Like, I'll admit, sometimes I'm like. Because they'll be like, let's play a board game. And sometimes my first reaction internally is like, yeah. And then when I sit down and do it, I'm having so much fun until, you know, like, someone gets upset, you know, because someone wins. But you know, for me, it's. It's really fun to actually sit and play with your kids. And I love looking at their little eyes and seeing their brains think and their little hands moving. But I really, I always feel like summer is so great to bring in the reading, the board games, like, all the fun reading.
B
For sure. Yeah. Teo the other night wanted to sit and do an over 500 piece Lego plane. And I'm like, I'm so sorry. I just Can't. And then he, he told me I broke his heart. I don't love him. I'm like, that's not. I go, we'll save that for daddy. Like, you and daddy, he, he and Art built the whole thing. But I look at that and my mind is like all these different bags of pieces and stuff. I'm like, I. I would do anything to play board game, but to put together a 561 piece. Yeah. He is obsessed with Legos. I mean, you see it obsession. He could say, I got the Lego table. I wish I could build Legos. I can't. I could do big building blocks.
A
I'll do some magnetic building tiles.
B
Yeah, no, I crushed on those.
A

A

B

A

Summer's here and the sun is shining. You need powerful protection that feels light on your skin. Meet Neutrogena Ultra Sheer sun sunscreen. This SPF 70 lotion absorbs fast with a smooth, dry touch finish. So you'll forget you're even wearing it. It blocks 97% of burning UV rays and is water resistant for up to 80 minutes. Lightweight, effective, and perfect for sunny days is just what your summer needs. Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunscreen. You can't buy feel. Shop now at Target. Well, you know what I love is that birdie, you know, sew into her dolls and you guys, I caught myself the other day. I, like, sat down cuz I was cleaning up her room. She was at school. And I was like, well, I think this doll should actually be over here. And I'm like, tucking her into bed. And I'm like, you know, this one actually needs to be sitting here. And I'm like, next thing you know, like 20 minutes goes by and I did this whole doll scene.
B
Oh, my gosh.
A
I know. But I actually had so much fun. And I, like, one of them, like, her hair piece was coming off, so I was like, putting the breads back in. Like, everyone got cleaned up, dolled up, put in a good place to enjoy their little day.
B
I love it. Well, you know the one I have for Teo upstairs, it's. It's not like birds.
A
Oh, yeah, yeah.
B
But just, you know, which one. And I like having that so he can learn about, you know, rooms, families, whatever. But I found myself one day, I was like, reorganized the whole thing. Like, I did every room up. Yeah. Like here. This is a kitchen. This is how it should be in the bathroom, how the TV should face. And I'm like. All of a sudden, I was like, wait, what am I doing? And I did the whole thing.
A
Yeah. And Birdie's very much into the American Girl dolls, right?
B
Yeah, she is.
A
And they're a pretty penny, let me tell you. But I mean, she only has two. And then I. She has these other ones, but they have Nicole. We would have died as young girls. Oh, there's scenes.
B
We had cabbage, which, I mean, I might hate.
A
And Barbie. We loved Barbies.
B
Did we love Barbies?
A
Well, we cut off all their hairs and.
B
Yeah.
A
As if it would grow back.
B
We had them for a bit.
A
I guess we weren't into it.
B
We weren't really into it.
A
Yeah.
B
Or stuffed animals.
A
Did you see what I got Birdie for a birthday?
B
Yeah.
A
So like, they all have their own little locker and, like, a desk.
B
Oh, gosh, girl.
A
And like. Like, you have to see, like, the computer. Oh, my gosh. It's like I saw it and I was like, it kind of adds on from her little tree house.
B
Oh, my God.
A
I know, I know. It's like. It's weird. It's like almost. I don't. It's soothing to me. Like when I sit and I do it, it's like. I don't know.
B
Oh, yeah. Like, that's what they say when you color. I mean, I like the app impulse. And I do candy sword.
A
See, I can't do any of the games really.
B
See, there's a couple at night when I can't sleep and I'm like, I don't want to go look at Instagram because then hours go by, I go do candy sword. And it makes me the. It's the purpose of the candy sword is to relax the brain. And then you feel.
A
But this interesting because you told Brian Knight to watch the one TV series from Netflix Four Seasons.
B
But I didn't say like, it was spectacular and it should win awards.
A
Depressing to me. But it's okay.
B
Why did Steve Carell, like dying everything Now I'm like, lately.
A
Yeah. Now you just spoiled it for everyone.
B
Sorry.
A
But I will say what made me sad is like the part of them showing that part of their marriage.
B
Good.
A
I know where she's always on the thing. Yeah. Screen. And I was like.
B
But then in the end how he.
A
I know.
B
Because he was unhappy then in his relationship.
A
No. Look at. I have goosebumps. Brian.
B
I thought there was a lot of great me. I guess that's why I said to. To watch it. I thought there was a lot of great meaning in each individual relationship. For sure. I never said, hey, you're gonna get a giggle. Go watch Four Seasons.
A
But I think you should have told me like, hey, it's sad. You never said sad. Well, you actually made me think I was gonna giggle. To be honest. The way you put it over. Now I will say I love Faye and I like the way she writes and all spectacular actors. So for me, I was like, good. But nothing made me feel good.
B
No.
A
And sometimes I'm in that place in my life where I need to laugh and feel good. Like Brian, I are watching had some.
B
Moments gave you a little bit of hope. Little hope spots.
A
I mean, kind of. Yes. But overall.
B
And how amazing was the one who Steve's wife is her fashion and everything. It was so cute. Yeah.
A
And I just felt bad for aunt.
B
I felt terrible for Anne.
A
And then the whole ending. Then I was like, there's no big hope spots for Anne.
B
But then it was.
A
It was kind of.
B
But not really when Anne was like when she saw the photos of him. And then it. It actually gave her closure of.
A
Wow.
B
He was really happy. I thought, like, I don't know. You had to look at it bigger girl, bigger picture.
A
I kind of tried. I tried and then I just.
B
I liked it.
A
Yeah. Not my thing. And then the ending. Not my thing.
B
The daughter with the theater.
A
Hilarious. Love that.
B
Yeah.
A
I thought that was hilarious.
B
That's what I said. There was some Moments, but also was laughing at. Because she's, like, tearing the dad apart. And then she comes out with the wit as the witch.
A
Oh, I know. So good. But I will say that actual ending, Brian and I were like, no, no, they do not end it this way. We had to turn off. We're like, see another thing to make you feel weird and bad. Well, yes.
B
Yeah. But I mean, that's because, you know, when you want hope for a season two.
A
Yes.
B
And with the bang.
A
All right, well, Brian and I, because Nicole had us watch that we weren't feeling good. We came across a show which is, you know, older, but it's called AP Biology.
B
Oh, yeah. You were telling me.
A
Oh, my goodness.
B
I need to. I need to look that one up.
A
20 minutes of laughing. If you just want to laugh. 20 minutes. It's like a teacher who's got fired from Harvard, but he's trying to get revenge on his nemesis who he feels fired him. And so he's a teacher. We had to go back to Toledo, Ohio, and be a teacher at the school. But it's so funny.
B
I love it.
A
I was like, brian, I like, see 20 minutes of laughing, and then we get to read a little bit and then go to bed.
B
Well, that's why I keep telling you guys to watch Abbott Kenny. Did I say that right?
A
So I watched it.
B
That one's so funny.
A
Yeah. Well, so this is the thing, is you start to overwhelm Brian by saying, we should watch this now. So then he's like, no, no, I gotta take months off TV after this. And then when we saw AP Biology, we were like, this is so funny. And we saw there's four seasons. And Brian's like, we can't watch all four. Oh, my gosh.
B
I love when I get into series and there's four seasons.
A
So I'm like, that. But Brian, that's like, no, that's too much tv. And, like, we're going to want to know. And so it's very overwhelming for him. But it cracks me up because I was like, you know, summer's coming up, and I'm like, you got to start thinking about some of the shows. Got to put your reading list together. But that's the thing about summer, which I love, is, like, you put your list together of your goals, things you want to do. I feel like it's always the time when people start to really read. I know. I totally my reading lister together. Watch some fun shows.
B
Yeah, I want to feel like that. Well, make sure to share your stuff, too, Bri. On social. Your recipes that you're doing.
A
I do need to do that.
B
You do. And then your books, because you need to. Also, don't forget about the referrals for me. But I. I kind of want to be that way, too. I want to get a little Betty Crocker, a little Stephen King. Just kidding.
A
No, you don't.
B
Yeah, a little. What's the other. What's the good one?
A
Just say a little Brian Danielson.
B
Yeah, but I want, like, more. I want to read a berly. Okay. Okay. How about this? This I want to get a little like Martha Stewart and Reese Witherspoon.
A
Oh, there you go.
B
Right?
A
Yeah.
B
Okay, that's good.
A
Well, then why don't you just follow Reese's Book Club?
B
Yeah, I should. I mean, isn't. Is that experienced readers? Because your girl.
A
Experienced reader? No, not at all. They're all female authors saying.
B
I love that. Yeah, you know me. I like the feminine touch. Okay, Brie, you want to take me on in game?
A
Yes.
B
Okay. So it's called summer song association. Now, this game is where we're given a word and it's going to be from someone else, not me. And we have to say or sing a song lyric that has the word in it. And then we see how many we can get. Right? So, for example, the word is tonight. Then one of us would yell out or talk out. Waiting for tonight by JLo.
A
Oh, okay. I get it.
B
All right.
A
Hot, hot. I like it like that.
B
Some like it hot. Marilyn Monroe.
A
Oh, God, no. It's getting hot in here. Nelly. It's getting hot in here. Yeah.
B
Shots, shots, shots, shots. No, I said it first, but I don't know. Everybody a pit bull. That's not Pitbull.
A
That's not.
B
No, it's whoever says it first. No, it's. What are the guys? The one guy looks like Carlito. Oh, no. Never mind. F.M.O. no, it's not. No. Shot, shot, shots are Little Wayne. Shoot anyways. Shut. Shot, shot, shots. I got that.
A
Is that the song?
B
Yeah, I think it's two. Two to me. Zero to you.
A
No, I definitely got the first one.
B
I beat you.
A
No, you did not.
B
Tan, tan, tan, tan.
A
It might be something laying in the sun. Is there a good a sun?
B
No. We need to go next.
A
Okay. Next.
B
Wild. Oh, my gosh. By Flow Rider. Wild ones. Flow Rider.
A
Hey, I heard you were wild one.
B
Oh, I love that song. That's like on my treadmill list.
A
Kiss. Oh, I kissed a girl. And I liked it by Katy Perry.
B
Okay. Yeah. Yep.
A
Okay.
B
Not on my summer list. But road.
A
Country roads.
B
That'd be on my summer list. Good girl. Please. Which version? OG or would you throw in a little bit of jelly roll? I do both back and forth, I think.
A
John Denver. I just go straight up. Acoustic.
B
Yeah. Original beats. Nothing beats, though. OG Ice, Ice, Ice Baby.
A
I mean, you have to.
B
Yeah, I have to. Yeah.
A
You need to get up and just move this.
B
I could imagine people. Yeah. Summer buzz. Want to get a little funky.
A
Yeah.
B
I mean, there's probably a gazillion other songs, but Ice, Ice Baby came to mind.

Why can't I even sing the song right now? Yeah, I'm thinking all the time.
B
Oh, my goodness. Girly girl.
A

B
Tennessee Whiskey.
A
Tennessee Whiskey.
B
Oh, yes. Okay, Cruise. I don't even know if I know a song with Cruising It.
A
I mean, we have to. Cruising, Cruising in the street in my 6 4. It's like that and it's like this. What's that song?
B
That's LMFAO, right?
A
No, that's like, way. This is like 90s, Cruise.
B
Oh, is it not Beastie Boys?
A
Yes.
B
Wait, are you sure?
A
Yeah. Cruising down the street. Yes. Now I gotta. Now I gotta.
B
But that's a good one.
A
No. From Boys in the Hood by Easy.

Wow. Sad night. Good one.
B
Okay. Skip Truck.
A
I mean, the Carrie Underwood one.
B
The cheat.
A
It's so good.
B
Yeah, that is good. I like at least the Luke Bryan and KC Musgrave song. And they talk about the truck, like the dog and the daddy's. Just like in the daddy's truck. I don't know. We'll go with yours.
A
Yeah.
B
What was yours?
A
Carrie Underwood.
B
Oh, yeah.
A
And I put my keys in his truck. Lake. Okay. Lake's a good one to end on. We have to know a song with Lake in it.
B
Okay, this is what I'm gonna end ours with, because this is a summer anthem for me. Chicken Fried.
A
Chicken fried.
B
Yes.
A
So it's been your summer anthem for years.
B
Yeah. And it never changes. Zach Brown band I the best.
A
You need something new.
B
Never. Never.
A
Well, my Lake song of the year or the summer will be Chicken Bread. No, let me look real quick. Was it one of the last songs I downloaded?
