What up everyone? Welcome back to the Nikki and Brie show. This wasn't supposed to be the post SummerSlam episode that we all hoped for. Oh, no one we were hoping for victory. Didn't get that. But we're also hoping to be walking into Philly Smith smackdown together.

I know we had, we had our

gear packed, you guys. We had our gear packed. We were interviewing some Philadelphia Eagle players for the Nikki and Bri show at Chicky and Pete's. I mean, we were taking over Philly because we knew we'd be on a high from SummerSlam and it all crumbled to the ground, which is okay. But Bri, oh my gosh. I got Phyllis and

yeah, I don't know. I guess the Angels had a different plan for us.

[Nikki Bella]

They sure did.

[Brie Bella]

Well, by the way, I mean there was. It was two big nights for us both. Two major things for us both. So one doesn't outbeat the other, that's for sure. Nikki, you made your comeback, which was incredible. I felt like everyone was waiting for that. They were so excited to see you. And so one. And I know we're going to get into all the details of the whole thing but one, I feel like, you know, I would clap but I'm going to do the Gen Z clap. I see them all go like this. So what they do or like.

Yeah, or.

[Brie Bella]

Or is it like this or like that. Like that. I can't.

I don't know.

But for you, and you crushed it or like that you. Oh, there. I think it's that, right?

But yeah, I mean, it was a really big night for you. You literally crushed it. I feel like everyone loves Heal Nikki, and you gave that to everyone. So how did it feel being back in the ring? I know you were so nervous.

[Nikki Bella]

I was so nervous. But, you know, this time around, I was super prepared as I spoke about it before. You know, having Aaron solo as a coach has been extremely helpful. He has helped prepared me so much. Then more so than before, right? And then my pt, Carlo, my trainer, Katie, like, I just felt like going in this time, I would. I nailed it with every component, right. Of being the best me. So I felt super confident going into the match, but I was just super nervous, too, because remember, Bri. Bri and I are laying in bed the night before, and I go, bree, why is it when I make these big comebacks, it's always at, like, one of the biggest stages of them all? It's not like any little matches going into it or anything to prep like that. And then Bri's like, oh, my gosh. And so we both got a little nervous, but I was major anxiety.

[Brie Bella]

I know what.

[Nikki Bella]

So I felt I was super nervous, but also, like, I mean, obviously having you and Paige by my side always made makes me feel better, and I'll give it to them. Fatal Influence is incredible. They're incredible workers wrestlers. And I felt really strong out there. Like, when I hit that comeback and different things that I did in the match, I felt really strong. I felt really confident. And then obviously, the ending of the match, you know, I felt good.

You're such a heel.

[Nikki Bella]

It feels good to be bad. Well, I mean, we're gonna get into it because I can't wait to talk about that ending because it was very. I got my payback on when I kept telling you, bri, no, it's broken. No, my ankle's broken. And I kept going. Bri kept telling me about her shoulder. And then at the very end, when she was supposed to help me, she looked at me, she's like, sorry, girl, my shoulder. And I'm like, all right, so I'm about to do this in front of, like, 50, 60,000 people feeling a little alone, but that's all right.

But no one better. You handled it perfectly.

[Nikki Bella]

I mean, honestly, I feed off of energy, and you know me, I feed off of booze, and I am a natural heel. It's just easy. And it. Hey, got number nine on. On the top 25 moments of SummerSlam weekend. My heel turn got number nine.

[Brie Bella]

I think it was our heel turn they wrote or.

[Nikki Bella]

Yeah. Bella twins heel turn got number nine. You and me. What was incredible is we both individually were trending worldwide. The Bella Twins and just Bellas were trending worldwide. We had four spots in the worldwide trends, and then, you know, it's.

We made a statement. Breezy.

[Brie Bella]

Yeah. It was a sad one for me, but yes, for sure. I know.

[Nikki Bella]

I know.

It was a hard chapter for me

[Nikki Bella]

to end, by the way. Me too. Because I gotta experience that chapter for about a day, I guess. Two TVs. Two TVs in a day. Even though our stuff got cut on the Friday before, which, you know, we were bummed about. Very bummed.

[Brie Bella]

Yeah.

[Nikki Bella]

I'm like, where did our package go, by the way? I never saw it online. They said they posted it. So socially. I never saw it on social media or package we filmed.

[Brie Bella]

I. I didn't see it either. I don't think it did.

[Nikki Bella]

Which I'm not gonna lie. That was really hard one going after Nick and Gunther because we were on gorilla, and I thought Nick was gonna win. At one point, I'm like, oh, my gosh, Gunther's gonna tap. And he didn't. But I felt like in that moment, the crowd wanted Nick so bad that I wish Gunther would have tapped in that moment. I. It almost gave me the feeling of when we went the WrestleMania, we had to go after Taker lost his streak. Yeah. And obviously the crowd wasn't as upset as that, but going out there after Nick and Gunther, people were really upset about Nick. And I'm like, king, we're in that hard spot again. The crowd just was let down so bad.

And also having no build, we had no package going into SummerSlam. We had nothing. Friday night, we literally had one show in Oakland to tell a story. Oh, you are Erling Holland. We've been Holland all morning. Tay Tay and I. He's staying home with me. And can I tell you something really quick and then we'll get back on track. So he goes, can I please have my own jersey? Like my own style? And I said, yeah. So we went on Etsy. He wanted Mato on the back he wants the number five. And then on the front, you could put your team name. I go, what do you want to do? What's your team name? And he said, buddy. And I go, just buddy? And he goes, yeah. So his jersey's going to say buddy on the back. Mato five. That's really cute. Thank you.

Why did he pick five? Did he tell you?

And how weird that I was 5 in T ball and stuff. All my little jerseys of me. I'm five.

became too soccer later on, but yeah. So anyways, back to Summer Slam.

Yeah. Well, I have to say, SummerSlam was actually. It was a great ple. I really enjoyed it. The both days, both nights were absolutely incredible. And I. It was, you know, Gosh, it was. It was just. I don't know. I give five stars to WWE for.

It was a tremendous ple.

Even though some of the builds were okay. It was.

Everyone showed up.

Everyone showed up. But there was so much entertainment. Like, even with my heel turn, like, it just made the match feel more ple. Right. And everyone looked amazing. All of our outfits, by the way, we were like Destiny's Child. But I got to give it to Fatal Influence. When I saw them hit their entrance, I'm like, damn, those girls look good. Good.

They look great.

[Nikki Bella]

Everyone looked amazing as far as present, but every match had some exciting component to it. Do you know what I mean? Whether it was a stipulation, whether it was a surprise return, whether it was a surprise ending, everything was exciting. And also, we just got to see a lot of superstars, so it just made it worth people's money as well. Like, if I was sitting there Saturday and Sunday, I'm like, oh, my gosh, I saw so many amazing Superstars in person. Randy Orton, Kevin Owens is back. I got to see Brock retire. Like, I'm getting chills. Like, it was just a very exciting two days. And even you and I, when we were flying to Phoenix on Monday, you know, so many fans were there and how all the fans were even, like, that's been the best ple in so long.

[Brie Bella]

It was one of the best ples, I feel like, of the year. Unfortunately for me, maybe one of my worst, because getting injured, which I know all of you have been wanting to hear the details of it, but. So I broke my scapula. I actually. It's fractured in. It's like two or three spots. Yeah, it's three places and. Yeah. And it's really hard to break Your scapula, um, which is really interesting. So it just shows you a freak accident. Which before I get into it, I do want to say that it's nobody's fault. My injury, it's part of the business. And in wrestling we all sign up knowing, I mean, look at Nikki, three months ago, broke her ankle and ring. So we all kind of go in there knowing, like, you take that risk, that injury can happen. You never know when, never know what kind of move or when your body, like when it just happens. So I did break it and I broke it, you know, for all of you. Yes, on the stairs when I got the cannonball. But it was weird because when it happened, I instantly knew and it was

kind of like you could see it on your face.

[Brie Bella]

Yeah, well, and I think everyone heard me scream in a way you've never heard me scream before. Yeah, but it's kind of like what you said when you broke your ankle. Like you feel the fire, but was weird because it was, I, I felt the fire, but I felt my body tense up so much and then it, it just was like such sharp pains. Like I haven't been in that much pain in a long time. And Nikki and I are very interesting. I don't know if it's our people pleasing side, if it's honestly, you know, because we were athletes before and it's kind of like you in your head when you're in that adrenaline, because you get adrenaline no matter what, when you're wrestling in front of a crowd, you get very high adrenaline. So I don't know if that like makes you feel like you can do anything, you're capable. So for me, it was like the rep instant knew something was wrong. And she's like, you know, she came up to me right after when I was selling on the ground before I got put back in the ring, she was like, do we need to call the match? And in my head in that moment, I'm like, yeah, right. I am not going to let them call this match and have all these women and Nikki not doing her comeback yet.

I'm like, I gotta get her in.

Well, now you know how I felt when I just kept going because I knew the girls were in the back. I'm like, I can't ruin it.

Yeah, that's exactly what was going through my head. But I, I honestly don't know how I went through it because I was in so much pain. Like even when I got. Yeah.

And you know everyone, I was like started to smarten up to it once I, I, you know, we could catch our breaths and I finally was starting to say something but I, the, the ref was kept checking on me because the doctors speak to her and you know, triple H everyone speaking to her through her headphone. But so they were checking up on me and they kept asking me to like, you know, stay out but I kept coming back in. Now granted I missed some big moves and you know, we all had to readjust on the fly. Yeah, you're, you know what I mean? Because I was telling Nikki I was like laying in the hospital that night feeling like I was just the weakest link and made the match look really sloppy for everyone. But I think what really did it for me was at the end when I took like the spinning X factor out because I kept taking moves out and I'm like in my head because it was so painful. I'm like what am I doing? But I gotta keep going. And the doctors kept, they were crawling on the ground trying to get to me.

After the match, I couldn't even get into.

That's like, the saddest video do. People are like, why am I crying? And I was like, dude, I feel like I'm about to cry. Like, this is so sad.

Yeah, I. I just. It's amazing.

Afterwards was very sad. Isn't it amazing? See now. And you guys, what's crazy? Think Bri is 42. Bri's never broken a bone in her life, except maybe a finger or toe. But Bree's never had a masculine.

I broke my nose.

[Nikki Bella]

Oh, your nose. Your nose. But Bree's never had a massive injury. Like. Like where you go to the hospital where there's talks of surgery, blah, blah, blah. It's always just been me that has taken it. Like, she's never. So it's crazy. It was crazy. First to see you have, like, your first big injury. But, yeah, in the match, I didn't realize it till. Even though I knew before the hot tag, I looked at you and I'm like, that doesn't seem like, just to sell. I was like, she. When you were in their turnbuckle, I'm like, wait a minute. But it was when you came to grab me to get Lainey for the heart. Heart attack. And when you bent over and you go, my shoulder, my shoulder. I can't grab her. That's when I was like, oh, shit. And I knew. I knew something really bad was.

Yeah, yeah. I mean, I couldn't do the backdrop. I couldn't do the missile drop kick. I think that's when everyone started to realize, like, she's seriously hur.

[Nikki Bella]

Yeah, But.

[Brie Bella]

But then when. Yeah, when I came in to give the hug, I think I knew because it was the ding, ding, ding. I think your body starts to relax a little more, and then more pain comes in.

Well, it's. It's just the more because pain. Because even mine, you know, at the end when Nya was supposed to toss me over the rope and I looked at her and I go, like. I knew at that point my body. I couldn't take it. I would have belly flop. I couldn't do it anymore. That was it.

Yeah. And then when I came in, I was thinking, like. I mean, I. I knew. I was like, I don't. I don't know how I'm gonna do this. Like, yeah, I'm in so much pain. And I was just like, well, can

we get to the after part? So the hill turn happens, which. Did you even remember any of that, or were you just out of body?

[Brie Bella]

I felt like I was out of

body at that time, because the crowd or any of that, like, how bad they were booing, or were you just out of body at that point? Probably, I. I just remember you.

[Brie Bella]

I felt like I wasn't. Yeah, I felt like you threw in

[Nikki Bella]

some kicks, which I didn't realize till after, because I just knew, like, okay, I'm gonna have to do this on my own. But then when I saw back, I'm like, okay, she. She gave some kicks in there.

[Brie Bella]

Well, I think I did some kicks to see how I feel. And when I did that, it just. And I was like, oh, yeah, I can't do this.

[Nikki Bella]

But when we came back, I immediately look at. Looked at Bri's shoulder, and did I not say, oh, I know I'm not a doctor. I don't have a license, but that is broken? And they thought at first breeze was shoulders out of place. And I'm like, no, they thought it was just.

[Brie Bella]

Yeah, they thought shoulder was dislocated, and

[Nikki Bella]

they tried to put that back in. Like, what you would do for dislocation. The screams of Brie Claire. And I couldn't stop talking about it, like, how bothered we were of, like, how you were screaming. And I was like, oh, my gosh. I've never heard my sister in this much pain.

[Brie Bella]

Well, the nice thing is, is we were lucky to be at a stadium. The Minnesota Vikings stadium.

[Nikki Bella]

You're so lucky. Yeah.

[Brie Bella]

Because they had an X ray room, so they wanted to see first if it was dislocated. And. And then when I went to the X ray room, that's when they saw the brakes. And then they were like, she needs to go to the hospital to get a CT scan. And. And because it is trauma, it's considered because, you know, you're breaking a bone and all of that. They thought I was gonna have to go straight into surgery that night, so I had to go to the hospital and let me tell you, Saturday night at a hospital.

[Nikki Bella]

Well, County Hospital. Yeah.

[Brie Bella]

County Hospital is the last place you want to be. I was there till 4am and everything just took a while, unfortunately. And I pray for the people who were in it. There was three different car accidents that came in the same time I came in. And it was crazy because when they told me I was going to the hospital, I didn't know I was gonna have to get into a stretcher. And there was just some interesting stuff from the time I got into that stretcher, into the ambulance that I was like, oh, my gosh. Just with different IVs and just with the needles. And I was like. Like, I can't believe this. This is me right now. Like, I should be, like, in the locker room, like, with everyone having fun, and. And there I was.

[Nikki Bella]

I know.

[Brie Bella]

And then. So we get into the hospital and. And then I get my CT scans, but it takes a long time for the results because the orthopedic surgeon, like, I dealt with the. You know, you deal with the ER doctor, and. But then you have to wait for the orthopedic surgeon who's on call. But he was doing surgery, so we were waiting quite a bit, and he kind of went from surgery to surgery. Poor guy. And when we were sitting there and you guys, I was so uncomfortable. I. You know, when you're just like, I just want to wish I was home. Like, I just this. Like, I was in so much pain. And then. So there was this one guy at the hospital who was right across the hall from us, and he was sitting. Now my door was, like, cracked. Um, and they had. You know, I had two WWE doctors with me and security, and the security was sitting outside.

Dr. P and Nicole are the best.

[Brie Bella]

They're the best.

[Nikki Bella]

I mean, I love Dr. P. Yeah, she's amazing.

[Brie Bella]

Unreal.

[Nikki Bella]

Yeah.

But I mean, he was on a good one. And I'm like, this is Saturday night. And, like, they obviously knew nothing was wrong with him, so they were like, all right, sir, it's time for you to be discharged. We checked everything. You're good. He's like, I'm not good. I'm drunk and you're not about to kick me out when I'm drunk. And I was like, this is some good promo stuff.

[Nikki Bella]

That's some good, good brie mode promo stuff.

[Brie Bella]

Oh, this was even the best. He starts to walk and they're like, sir, your shoes. You need to put on your shoes. And he goes, my shoes? And that was it. Like, them asking him to put on his shoes really flipped.

Ticked him off. That, like, was a trigger.

[Brie Bella]

It was such a trigger. And that was it. He was mad, but I could hear him talking to our poor WWE security, being like, you married? You good looking? You should be married. And like, oh, my gosh.

Exactly what security guard you're talking about? She is. She's so cute, and she's a badass.

[Brie Bella]

Oh, badass. And she's like, sir, you need to shut your mouth. It's time.

Like, I was, like, laying in that bed. I'm like, this is My Saturday night entertainment. Yeah. But, you know, when I was so the orthopedic surgeon, when he came in, he was like, well, this is a first. Someone breaking their scapula to a human cannonball. Haven't heard this. He goes, it's.

[Nikki Bella]

I, by the way, always love dealing because obviously I've had a few injuries. I always love dealing with the doctors because they go, how did you do this? And then when you, like, pull up the move, they're like, well, I've never seen this before. So what is this called? What move is this? Oh, my gosh. It's always. It's like the greatest.

[Brie Bella]

But he was like, you know, it's really hard to break your scapula. He's like, and no one does surgery on scapulas. Like, it's. If you really want it, there is one doctor that can do it. But honestly, it's like breaking your ribs in a way. You just wait till they, you know, slowly heal. And so that's what I have to do. And with that, I. I know I have to get X rays every two weeks to make sure I am healing. I don't start PT for another two weeks. So they really want me to be bedridden.

[Nikki Bella]

We were. We were texting Carlo and I. I'm like, so I hear you got another patient.

[Brie Bella]

He's probably like, mind blown.

[Nikki Bella]

Oh, beyond mind blown. I'm sure she can't believe it.

[Brie Bella]

Yeah. And then from there, you guys, I'm. I'm out three to six months. So it all depends how my scalpula heals. I like to think us Bellas or bones heal quick, but, you know, the scalp is kind of a tricky one, so.

[Nikki Bella]

Yeah, well. And you right here. Come right here. Show anti breezy your hands. And you really want to make sure you take care of it. Yay. Yeah. Yay. Okay. Make sure to go clean, because you got to also think of the rest of your life and that you don't want, you know, to have severe shoulder pain, but I know you're going to take care of it. You're going to do all the right things.

Well, and they would never let me back in the ring until it's fully healed. But I was freaking out because they were like, you can't work out for eight weeks. Like, they're like, in two weeks, if you want to go, like, on your walks outside, because I can't just like. Like, you cannot fall. But I would. I was just like, wait eight weeks. I don't know. I was telling Brian, I'm like, it just kind of feels, you know, I've put in so much work and time and I just, I'm like, I hope it doesn't feel like I'm starting from the beginning, but I guess if it does, then I do. And I'll be.

I feel bad, but it will. But then one thing is, is your muscle has memory, so it'll be fine. But remember me those first few weeks, I mean, I was like sucking air. You saw me with Katie. You and I were doing some.

It was.

It's hard. Yeah, it'll be hard. Like that's just all there is to it.

[Brie Bella]

I know.

But you'll get. The thing is, is it won't be like before, where it'll take months where, where you start to see results or feel things. It's just gonna be a hard month till everything comes back.

And consistency.

I was so bummed because I'm like, I've done my solo, you know, and then you did your solo, and I was just really excited to do this chapter with you and travel together, be together, make magic together, you know, even when we have, like, our own matches to be by each other's sides in those matches. And you know what I mean? Like, all the things like singles match, tag match, like, what. What are we gonna create? Especially after having such a very big moment after our match, I was very excited to see, like, what's next for the Bella Twins. And, you know, it's. It's just always a part of our story. You and I are very much naturally bring in these type of stories that prolong to, like, you know, inspire. But I'm like, okay, well, I guess we're just really making people wait till the Bella Twins officially unite.

I mean, goodness, Goodness. So I was like, when I come back, Nikki's gonna be nervous.

Okay, well, but then let's talk about the exciting news, because when I was doing your. Your countdown on your months, Sabri was supposed to be in Phoenix with me, even though I had a flyer there. And then Brian met me in Phoenix, and then Brian flew Bri home. So Bri was supposed to do the press conference with me that I think, you know, everyone has seen. But we made the official announcement that the Royal Rumble is coming to Phoenix, Arizona at State Farm Stadium. I got really excited being there because I was like, oh, my gosh, the Royal Rumble's in Phoenix. You know, it's going to just feel like Phoenix is so ready for it because obviously I was talking in the marketing team there and, you know, the TKO group, and they're bringing anything that's under the TKO umbrella the next three years. They are taking over Arizona, which is really cool.

[Brie Bella]

Awesome.

[Nikki Bella]

But just talking about all the ideas they already have for that weekend and all that kind of stuff, I'm like, oh, my goodness, this is gonna be amazing. Then I was counting down on the months, and I was like, wait, Bri. I'm like, what a return. If it is the Royal Rumble for you, depending on your shoulder, maybe it's before, but maybe it's then to be in Phoenix, Arizona, it was really cool. And, you know, when I was at WWE World with everyone and everyone missed you so Much. They were so sad that you couldn't do your appearance.

[Brie Bella]

I was so bummed. I felt bad for everyone, too, because I know people really make, you know, flights out and drives out and.

[Nikki Bella]

Yeah, that.

[Brie Bella]

So I feel. But for all of you who had got. I had to cancel and I'm so sorry.

Yeah, no. And they all understood. They all were more worried about you and was like, hopefully next time that people hadn't made you stuff. And some, you know, they were in your merch and all the things. But I was talking to the gentleman that runs it all, and I was like, hey, because I'm not gonna lie at this point, I knew that I was going to Arizona for the press conference to announce the Royal Rumble. So I was like, I see almost here. And I know we brought in bonita into the bars, but what about creating a bonita Bonita activation? I'm like, you know how I did Barmageddon and we did fun bar games? I go, I don't know if you can really do tastings, but I was talking to all these ideas, and he goes, that would be awesome. So we're going to discuss that to try to bring that to WWE World Rumble weekend. But there's going to be so much going on, and I know we're going to have so much fun. And the Global ambassador told you. One of my favorite hotels ever. It's the best, this spot. By the way, Claire and I did cryo together. She's never done cryo before. And you can fit two people in there. So we're in there shivering, talking. We were kind of laughing after we did it. I only. We only did the two minutes, even though that's still a lot. Yeah. But like, to be in there was so.

[Brie Bella]

Yeah.

[Nikki Bella]

And then we did the infrared sauna after. But those lymphatic drainage massages. Oh, it was so good. I felt so bad. I was like, bri, you are missing out. But all the restaurants, the boutiques, the vibes, as. I mean, you know me, you do a French aesthetic with music. I'm sold.

I told you.

But we were freaking out over every detail in the rooms, to every. Anywhere you walk. That is one of my favorite places ever. Like, I will probably make special trips to Phoenix just to stay at the Global Ambassador.

[Brie Bella]

Did you go to the Mediterranean restaurant? Like I said, go swimming and get lunch there.

[Nikki Bella]

Well, so where the swimming is, is the Mexican restaurant. Yeah. And I just. I ended up taking a long nap because think I didn't sleep Thursday. I didn't really sleep Friday. Then we had the match Saturday. I didn't really sleep Saturday, and I had to go do the appearances. And then I came back with you, took care of you. You and I kind of, we. That was my first time getting at least five hours of sleep on Sunday. So by the time I checked into my hotel Monday, I was like, I. I only have a day here. I need to take in everything. And I passed out on my bed three hours. So I was gonna go swimming. It was 109. I was like, I don't know if I want my skin in the sun like this, but I went into the boutique and then I had an apparel spritz at the lobby bar. Oh, my goodness. Then Claire met me. We did all the things at the spa. Then we got ready and I went upstairs to the rooftop, which is, I think the Mediterranean, right?

[Brie Bella]

Yeah, I think so.

[Nikki Bella]

Yeah. But, yeah, the views. And we did the sunset there. I had. I guess their espresso martini is like the best. I got that to try. It was amazing. Had bubbles, some apps. And then we went to the French Michelin Star, our restaurant, for dinner.

[Brie Bella]

Yeah, it's amazing.

[Nikki Bella]

Is so good. I just had the best experience. Their cafe, it's like a mini air one, but French.

[Brie Bella]

And I haven't done the cafe yet. I've done a lot of things here, but not the cafe.

[Nikki Bella]

But you know what I was shocked about? What in the spa. So in the women's locker room, first of all, they had rose on tap. You could get rose or kombucha. They had. They had bone broth, they had collagen water. You can open up this. What looked like a fridge thing, but it was heat for your neck, a heat pad, things. Then you shower. And you know, when they do the. They give you the really good salt exfoliator, crystal things. I can't think of it. Claire and I couldn't believe all the products they had set out that you can use. Top of the line skincare products. So if you wanted to do that, do your hair on the other side, all different body creams and stuff. Everything that was top of the line. Just product.

Yeah.

Like products that you and I are obsessed with.

Wow.

And I loved it because Uncommon James had a very strong presence in there with her skin care. I actually need to tell Kristen that I used her eye cream. I loved it. And then I kept thinking when I saw the bars in the room, we need them. You know how we're. I know we're going to be announcing it. The sparkling rose with their cowgirl label, minis like, in their Brie.

Because I was looking at all the brands they have, and I'm like, okay, Global ambassador does it very well. And then I was talking with the somme, and I was just telling her, hey, I would love something that's biodynamic farming. And she's like, you are the first person who's ever asked me this. She goes, I have five different on my list. I really wanted to make sure I carried it. And you're the first person to ask. So we were talking different regions. She was telling me about this dad and daughter from Oregon. He just passed away. So this is the last of what they're making. But then she was telling me about this region in Australia and this winery, and I was like, I'm gonna go with that. It was unreal.

Unreal.

Unreal. It was.

And then once I knew Bri and I were doing all this exciting stuff in Philly this week that we had to cancel, so I was like, wait, I could get home for 24 hours? I'm doing that. So Tay Tay's missing camp, and we're just been spending the day together.

That's so nice.

Yeah, it was really fun.

Yeah, it's been nice being home too. It's cute. Cuz, you know, kids, they have so much empathy. So they, you know, it's been cute how they've adapted to me, like, not being well. And so, like, Birdie's my nurse, Buddy's my assistant, and they want to wait on me hand and foot. Like, they want me to give them. I mean, so much. They'll walk in my room and they're staring at me, and I'm like, I really have nothing. They're like, are you sure? Nothing? And I'm like, well, refill my water.

That does suck. But I had a lot of fun with her. But her moment at SummerSlam, it was incredible. It was incredible.

It, you know, her moment reminds me a lot of the moments Brian had where the fans are so behind you and they're rooting so hard for you and it just organically happens. And then when finally, you know, WWE gives you that moment, it's like not. It's a moment for Chelsea, but also a moment for the fans.

So everyone celebrates and it just feels really good. And all of us were celebrating, like we were so happy for her. Yeah. And, you know, so that, like, I was so happy for.

I was so happy for her. And her whole family was like, ringside and. Oh, it was really good to see Matt. I mean, of course, Matt being there, like, they all. They all were sitting right there together and. And it was such an epic moment. And Just hearing her do her media on Tuesday was just like, really, really cute. It made me just so happy for her.

I know. And I slept so bad last night. I was in so much pain. I haven't been good on keeping up with my pain medicines at the time.

So I was in around like last night. It was probably, I don't know, 2:30am I was. I couldn't go back to sleep. I was just so much pain. But. And then I got really hungry, but I didn't want to wake up anyone. And I was just like, gotta keep

snacks by your bed.

I know. I gotta do it.

Crackers or whatever, the gluten free, whatever you need.

I mean, nothing was worse at the hospital when they're like, yeah, you can't eat or drink water. And I'm like, I'm so thirsty.

Brian was so sad about that. He's like, I know. She's so hungry. And I'm like, no, I know. I feel bad. And I have food here for. I ordered it, but we weren't allowed to bring it. They, you know, because in case I

[Brie Bella]

had to get surgery. I mean, even doc, she was like, she wrestled a match like, so they gave me, like, a couple ice chips, and. But they're like, if she goes into surgery, we just can't take the risk. And I was like. I just was sitting there like, this is so miserable. But it's good now. I have water and food when I need it, which feels. Feels like a blessing, right?

Oh, Bri, can we talk about one last thing before.

How I just made headlines about being celibate.

I know. Well, you say stuff like, you joke about that kind of stuff, and then people just take it and go.

[Nikki Bella]

I was so embarrassed. And the fact that they all dropped Saturday, and I'm getting all these text messages or people coming up to me, and I was like, wait, what? And they're, like, showing me, and I'm like, oh, my gosh. I can't even think about this. I have. I have a comeback to prepare for. I was. I felt so embarrassed. I, like, totally just. It was such a throwaway comment, and then just to see it in writing. Do you know what I mean?

But I know that's why it's.

[Nikki Bella]

Especially when I didn't name a person at all. And then they're attaching all these different guys to headlines, and I'm like, dude, what the heck? I was just so embarrassed.

[Brie Bella]

I guess that's why you keep some things private.

[Nikki Bella]

Well, then when I Googled it, celibate meant I was, like, laughing so hard. I didn't know. It's like, someone who chooses no marriage and no sex. I just thought, I don't know. Celibate means, like, yeah, that's definitely not you in a while. Yeah.

[Brie Bella]

Yeah, definitely not you.

[Nikki Bella]

So I was. And then, of course, I made the nun comment, so it all did make sense. But someone texts Claire and goes, how's Sister Nikki doing? I agree. That can be your. Your new gimmick, Sister Nikki. All right, Brie, well, why don't you leave us with some inspiration affirmation?

[Brie Bella]

I guess it's interesting because I feel like at a time like this, you want people to hit you with some inspiration. But I guess, you know, this weekend, I was super bummed. I'm not gonna lie. When I was sitting in the hospital bed, I was like. I was just like, damn. I just felt like, you know, I've been on a roll lately, and I've had a lot of momentum, and there's just so much more I want to do at wwe. And I felt like those weeks were near of, like, some of the stuff I wanted to do more like things that Brian had been training like, Things I've wanted to showcase and matches I haven't been able to. And. And so it was hard to, you know, Saturday, like, because I was at the hospital for so long, just sitting there, just not being so bummed. But I think when I got home and I, you know, looking at my family and seeing everyone and, you know, sometimes when you're in it with wrestling and we have, like, days like how Smackdown we had smackdown and had to, like, get to Minneapolis and we kind of get ourselves in this bubble, then you start to see what's going on in the world and you realize, whoa, what I'm going through is such a small thing. And really, at the end of the day, when you go through an injury, you're so blessed for your health. And I feel like everyone who goes through an injury or something, you know, where something gets taken away, they always kind of look at that. And I, you know, I guess for me it's, you know, I'm not going to look that the glass is half empty. I'm going to see it as the glasses half full. And I'm going to take this time not only to be with my family, but to, you know, circle again, concentrate on my health, realize the things that I have and I'm so blessed for. And at the end of the day, you know, whatever this shoulder decides to do from, you know, Royal Rumble all the way to SummerSlam, I've been really blessed with the run I've been given, been blessed being in there with you, Nikki, with having Paige as a tag partner, working with these girls in this era. And, you know, so if the only thing I can leave you guys is that when we go through really hard things, it's so easy to just sit and soak and be bummed and look at all the negatives. But a lot of times interweaved into that negative, all those negatives, is a lot of positives. And just to take a moment to sit back and look at that, I've, you know, been laying in bed looking out my window, which I'm grateful I get to see all these beautiful trees and butterflies flying around and birds and so grateful I get a peek out at nature all day. And, you know, it's hard for me to binge all day, so I watch a show and then, you know, have like an hour to myself. And I just. I was like, you know what, Bri? Take this time. Take this time to be with your family, to kind of think about what's next, to plan it out. And I know that this, you know, didn't end everything for me. It's just made everything longer. So a little longevity. So I look forward to the future till, you know, I look forward to when I can start rocking and rolling and getting better. But overall, I'm grateful for everything I was given from Royal Rumble to SummerSlam. And I'm going to take that whole run with me as, like, one of my favorite runs, a badass one. And I felt really good about myself. So it was, if nothing comes from this injury or if something happens and they say I can't ever get back in, I at least am proud of what I did and what I was capable of. I put in the work and I think that showed. And hopefully all of you going through something like this, don't let it bring you down, Pick yourself back up and move on.

Aw, that's beautiful. Bri, I can completely agree with you. You haven't been in this position yet, and I'm actually excited for you because you did come back and you really proved yourself and you did so incredible. But there's something about overcoming an injury, and it's like a certain fire. You find out things about yourself, but you. You have, as you can see, a lot of moments to just sit right, especially in that beginning stage. And so it's like you really just get this.

Everything goes away, everything gets canceled because you can't leave anyways. You have, like, that first two weeks of where you are just in your thoughts. Yeah. And you just start to learn more about yourself. Of what do I really want out of life? How do I really want to be? And then you do. You sit there and you go. You appreciate good health. Health is like, so number one, health and family is like, your first thoughts. But then you start to get this fire of the things you really want and how hard you're going to work to come back and get them. And so I'm excited to see that for you because I know your story isn't done in the ring, and I can't wait to see who you are coming back from something like this, because we've never seen it before.
