I had to go to the doctor yesterday to get my tit looked at. Yeah. So I have to ask you, when you came to wwe, you made a huge impact. I mean, your confidence, the power you had when you came out. What did you have to do to have that aura in the ring? What was like the key thing building?

[Brie Bella]

No, she is the aura.

You know, that word is so overused now. It's kind of crazy.

[Brie Bella]

It is crazy how everything is now. Yeah.

[Jade Cargill]

You know, I feel like it's something that I had growing up and just being able to instill that feeling and that message. I was like, I'm going to go out there, they're going to like it regardless of what I do. And if they don't, it is what it is. And that's how I feel when I go out there, because we work so hard, we prepare so hard, you have to go out there and just deliver at that point.

[Nikki Bella]

Yeah. And when you came to wwe, I mean, you were thrown into a main storyline. I mean, what did you like?

[Jade Cargill]

Oh, my gosh.

[Nikki Bella]

I have to say, mentally and physically, what did you do to prepare for that training?

[Jade Cargill]

Yeah, lots of training at the PC, talking to Hunter, talking to my colleagues, trying to get their advice, you know, because what we do is not easy. And to be on such a big stage with such phenomenal women, it took a lot of grace.

[Brie Bella]

Yeah.

[Jade Cargill]

It took a lot of understanding and it took a lot of patience.

[Brie Bella]

Yeah, well. And I feel like too, you, you're definitely born with it. Like, thank you. I gotta tell you, you're very rare. You have this presence. Well, one God was like, okay, so I'm do here.

[Jade Cargill]

He said, not too much. I can't dance. He said, not too much.

[Brie Bella]

I mean, like, when I look at, like, your body, your face, your presence, I'm like, this is literally like a superhero. Gorgeous, sexy superhero. That's like living day. Like, not fake, but real. Like, you just can't stop looking at you and being like, oh, my gosh. So you were born with it, but then you're delivering on everything with your talent and then what we have to train to do. But I want to kind of take it back because I didn't realize you were a D1 basketball player.

[Jade Cargill]

Yeah.

That is amazing.

Yeah, right?

Yeah, exactly. Division one is not easy. What position did you play and how was that?

[Jade Cargill]

So I was a combo guard my first three years, and then we had a new coach and I play post and I'm 5 10. So I was like, you guys want me to play post? Okay, but I can jump out the gym. So it just worked out. I did very well. I was very cocky. So that helps out a lot with what we do. I love it. But I tell you what, if I was coaching me, I would have kicked me off a long time ago, off the team. But I love what I do is just kind of transition into all this and just bringing that cockiness, that eagerness and that fire.

[Brie Bella]

Totally. Well, you know, I was the same way as a soccer player.

[Nikki Bella]

Ooh.

[Brie Bella]

I was very cocky. I'm the same way. I got in trouble with my coach a lot.

[Nikki Bella]

You were when I said, oh, I wasn't cocky.

[Brie Bella]

No, you weren't cocky. Right. Oh, silence. But. But I feel like I brought that in and then playing those sports because I Feel like with soccer, I really. We both took, like, footwork into it. Do you feel like basketball? Like, because you guys were the same way, running backwards, like, has that helped you in the ring?

[Jade Cargill]

Yes. And I feel like if you can play a college sport.

[Brie Bella]

Yeah.

[Jade Cargill]

You can do anything. Like, I feel like your mom isn't there. No one's there to hold your hand. You have to go out there. My coach used to lay it in on us, and we just had to take it.

[Brie Bella]

Yeah.

[Jade Cargill]

And I took everything as a challenge. Just like wrestling. When people tell me I can't do something, but I'm gonna do it twice.

[Nikki Bella]

Yes.

[Jade Cargill]

Like, that's me. I love a challenge, and that's where I get it from.

[Brie Bella]

Yeah.

Oh, my gosh. That's great. Well, something else. I was blown away. You. So is it a degree with child psychology?

[Jade Cargill]

Yes.

I mean, a degree in child psychology.

How did we not know all this about you?

I live, like four lives. I've lived in. I lived in France for two years at that. Yes.

[Brie Bella]

So it's little friends, you know? Little friends.

I lost it. If you don't use it, you use it. Yeah, I lost it.

[Nikki Bella]

Bonjour. Yeah, there we go. You know.

Oh, my gosh. I love France.

I love France. I lived in Normandy, so it's like, okay, they kiss four times.

[Nikki Bella]

Like, it's really France. I love that. So that explains your fashion then.

But the French wore off on you. But with going back to child psychology, did you use your degree at all or did you go straight into sports? Or did you like.

[Jade Cargill]

Two years. I did it for two years. Married, had my daughter, became a stay at home mom. Because I worked with 70 of foster kids. And working with foster kids, I'm about to get emotional. Like, working in that system, it's a lot. And so working with foster kids, it, like, takes a lot out of you. And, like, I'm from the country, so we're all raised up together. We work together. My neighbors can. If I get in trouble, my neighbors can punish me. Like, that's where I come from. I'm not used to. I live in Atlanta. It's a city. And I've had kids where, like, they were trying to commit suicide at, like, 5.

[Nikki Bella]

Oh, my God.

[Jade Cargill]

Like, I dealt with a lot of my kids were abused and raped. And, you know, when I was pregnant with my daughter, I'm like, she's gonna be born into such a blessed situation, you know, and to have these kids just to be born to Situations that are uncontrollable. I wasn't mentally mature at the time. I was 25, and I had to leave it. And I was like, you know what? I'll pick it up later. Yeah, like, not right now. I'll pick it up later.

It's.

It's something that I'm not ready for, Right?

[Brie Bella]

Yeah.

But, you know, I did it for two years.

That's incredible, by the way.

You have to have a heart for stuff like that. It takes a lot.

And I feel like as WWE Superstars, you. You guys, you can still give to kids. It's really incredible how kids will look up to WWE Superstars and feel inspired and know they can get through anything. And so thank you for that. For giving your time and having that degree. Had to help being a mom.

Oh, my gosh. You can't apply it to your kids, though. It's.

Oh, you can't.

You don't know what you're going to get. It's like a box of chocolate, right? Like, I'm thinking I'm going to. Like, she's going to be the. My daughter's great. She's amazing. Ball of energy, but she's 8 going on 13 right now, so it's like, I know that, you know, I'm like, this isn't. I was a tomboy growing up. There are so many, like, it's graves that you can kiss. It was one grave that was literally a camera. And you can scan it. This was, like, five years ago, years ago when I went. But you could scan it and you could tell. Well, it tells you all about this person's life, where they're from, like, their dreams, aspirations. Who's their wife? Mugler. His grave was in there. This big, you would think is enormous. It's like, literally this big. And it puts life into perspective. Like, you can do everything you want to do. Right. You can be as big as you want to be. We're all going to end up being, like, this little box at the end of the day. Like, it makes you look and appreciate life so much. But for me, also, cemeteries are very peaceful.

Yeah.

Like, it's so peaceful. It's so quiet. You can be in the busiest city ever. It's just. I like taking a stroll.

Yeah, that's cool. I mean, there's some historic ones in Napa Valleys. So you come winemakers, famous. But no, but they're like it. Yeah. There's, like, history there.

[Nikki Bella]

No, there is a lot. Have you done the New Orleans one?

I have that one I've actually wanted to do.

No, I've only felt that. So I went to a random cemetery in Mexico, and only once did I feel like I felt a presence. And I walked in and I just. This is going to, like, throw everybody off, but it felt like somebody, like, literally had their hands around my throat.

And it felt so weird because I've never felt anything like, that was like, whoa. So I'm, like, trying to calm down. What's happening? And I was just like. I'm like. I literally said out loud, this might. I was like, I'm okay. I'm not here to, like, disturb anything. I just want to walk around. It's fine. And within the next, like, 20 seconds, I felt the relief come off my neck.

And it was just a regular cemetery. There wasn't anything.

It was crazy. I never felt anything, anything like it. And I was like, it's kind of creeping me out a little bit. Yeah.

We were on the tour, and they were telling us this, and I was like, what? I just wanted to taste some wine, like. And then I looked at Brian, I go, it does kind of smell funny in here. Do you think, like, we're okay? Why would you say that? Because it was, like, musky.

I didn't even think about it, obviously.

We'll lean on each other. Even when I take, like this past year, for example, it's like, we know when, like. And you guys are twins, you know this. You know, when one twin needs one more. And I think that twin always steps up. And so Nikki and I, we've always been really great about that. Stepping up for each other.

And I feel like identical twins, we grow together in our journeys, and we grow together in different ways. So whether it's a learning lesson, for me, Breeze there learning something else on how this. Oh, well, one, thank you so much. That is amazing. It feels incredible. It definitely feels different this time around. And I think because of where I'm at, my life, and things I've accomplished being a mom, I'm in this era of one, giving myself a lot of grace, but just taking in all the happiness and joy of it. Like, I'm truly having so much fun. And I think you could feel. Yeah, that energy that I'm out. I had many, many years to prove what I can do. I'm still wanting to prove to myself that I could hang with these women and give them the respect as far as in the ring. But with the WWE Universe, the Bella Army, I'm just so happy to be back, and I just want to have fun with everyone, and I want to give everyone that energy, too, especially when the world can feel so heavy. I feel like that's the beauty of wrestling, is we are where we can get lost in imagination and in stories and in characters, and we're the happy part of the day. So that's, like, when I come out, like, I'm like. Even now, like, I used to be nervous, and I'm, like, right through the curtain, I'm waiting for, like, my music, and I think people are looking at me like, she's just so happy. Like, the other night, I forgot my shirt. Oh, well, thanks. How did I know you were gonna say that? You know, I feel. And like, Bri and I talk about this a lot on our podcast about doing the work. And I've been doing the work hardcore myself. It's probably now seven years, right? About.

You know, with a life coach with Carrie who we brought on. And it's helped me have a different mindset and outlook on life where I try to focus on. On the positive. So when things happen, don't get me wrong, I have my low moments. I have my moments where I ask God, like, why? Like, why do I have to go through this? And then I look at the overall picture and I understand that we all are here to be on a journey. Right? And we have to look at things that happen and go, okay, maybe this happened to me because this is my purpose, and how I overcome it makes it my purpose and how I could teach others who are about to go through it. So knowing that and feeling that makes it easy to stay positive and to Stay strong. And not that it's just for others, but for yourself. And then especially as a mom, that really helped me to stay strong because I knew no matter what my relationship with my son is forever and what people's perception of me isn't. Like all this could go away tomorrow, but my son won't. Like we will forever. That's we're mother son forever. And I care more about him, so that helps me stay strong. But then I understand now things are going to happen in life and none of us are perfect. Stuff is going to happen and it's going to be like, man, this sucks now how am I going to get through this? And it's how we make it for sure. And when you could find purpose in that too. And I have found purpose and things that have happened to me, I'm like, okay, this is how I'm going to teach people. So when we have a platform like this, this is how I'm going to spread my message of what I've gone through and overcame.

Yeah, I love that. I mean, I mean, Nikki hit a lot of things, but for me, I used to care a lot what people thought about and I don't know what happened to me in the last couple years, but I just don't care anymore.

Let me tell you, she does not.

The last year, I feel like, or.

Two years, but I think there's a lot of power when you can get to that place and you can really just live your life the way you want and be who you are and not care what anyone thinks. Oh, my gosh. That's where I found so much strength. And I really realized that you can delete an app off your phone very quickly and realize the people who are around you will be there forever. Them you can't delete. So just going back to being so present in life and realizing, like, where you need to put your time and energy isn't scrolling. You got to put your time and energy to the people around you, whether you're a parent. And that means your children or your wife and your husband or work, whatever it is that, you know, sometimes you feel like, oh, you've been disconnected from. It's just finding that connection. And once you have that, I tell you what, I feel like I can fight zombies.

It feels so peaceful, too. It's.
