For 10 years, I really want to get into that first because it's always fun to see it from people who newly do reality shows eyes, but also the men's eyes. Like how was it filming and then how was it watching everything back?

[Andre Berto]

You know what, it's kind of crazy to a sense. Like I said, we lived in LA for like 12, 13 years. I was around that for a very long time. I have a lot of friends that have been in reality shows for a very long time. So I kind of already knew the foundation on how they work. Yeah, my wife, she was ridiculously excited to do it because that's, I mean, that's her thing. She watched reality shows. I'm like, I was like low key coaching her for like three months. Oh, I love that, babe. Listen, hear what you're saying. But once things get edited and da da da, da da da. It might look different. No, no, no. It's gonna be fun.

I'm like, yeah.

[Andre Berto]

So, yeah, it turned out, you know, looking a lot different than what she thought.

[Nikki Bella]

I mean, right.

[Bri Bella]

Always happens that way.

Because realistically, what people don't understand it. Only 20% makes it to TV.

[Andre Berto]

That's a fact. That's a fact.

So all the stuff you film, it's just crazy. How much does it make it and people don't understand that.

[Andre Berto]

That's a crazy thing about it though. That's crazy thing about it. I believe like once we watched it and all the women, they, they sat down, actually watched the show, they were very surprised on so on how many scenes they just cut out of that. So many scenes and so many times they just Cut out of it. So, I mean, like I said, it was learning process.

[Nikki Bella]

Yeah. Do you have any favorite moments from the show?

[Andre Berto]

You know what? I'm just not a big fan of the reality TV thing all too much, but some things that let me see a lot of our stuff. When it comes to me and her, we had some great moments together, I think, with Chad, you know, like I say, and his lady as well, all the banter back and forth. I mean, it's always fun with them, too.

[Nikki Bella]

Yeah.

[Andre Berto]

As well. So, like I said, it was a dope show, man. It was dope show, everybody. The reception of it has been crazy. And, you know, I think everybody needs to go out there and watch it, Check it out, man.

That's right. Because we need a season two.

Need a season two, man. They're already asking for it. They're already barking on the blogs. They're going back and forth.

[Bri Bella]

Yes, a lot of chirping. Good.

Yeah. But you know what was funny? It was hard for my husband to film, too, because, like, I felt like it was natural for you and I to bicker on camera and do stuff. But for my husband, he's kind of like, you know, like, we do got to keep things private. Right. I'm like, well, when you sign up for reality, that kind of goes out the door.

[Nikki Bella]

Right. That is like the crazy part of it.

[Andre Berto]

And I think, I mean, like, another thing with us as well, when it comes to athletes, we built our reputation a certain type of way. We have respect, you know, to the world in a certain type of way. We don't want it to kind of be misconstrued and. And we don't have any type of control over it.

[Nikki Bella]

Right.

[Andre Berto]

When it comes to the storylines and the way they edit certain things. So it's always kind of like a thin line with us if we want to kind of just try to tap in that situation or not. We don't want to destroy our, you know, our likeness and our fame and totally. I mean, how we look as well. So.

[Nikki Bella]

Well. And especially if you're a professional boxer and then we get to see you cry or be all gushy. I know. That's. So that's going to be season two. We're going to. That's the producers. Like, we got to get them.

[Andre Berto]

Oh, yeah.

[Nikki Bella]

They try, right? They try. They tried.

[Andre Berto]

I wasn't going. No, I wasn't going this time.

[Nikki Bella]

Right. Oh, my gosh. I love it. Did you guys get all mushy gushy, though. Like, all we did. We did because we.

You know? Yeah. I mean, like, on a regular basis. It wasn't too bad.

It's been, what, Six years now.

Just had one two months ago.

This was a good baby, actually. This right here is a good one. He really kind of sleeps during the night. But the last two, they. They were terrors. Crazy. Like, really ridiculous.

All my guys, I tell all my friends, you know, make sure to prepare. Make sure just to know that you got to be ready for something like that.

[Nikki Bella]

[Andre Berto]

There's no sleep for a year, year and a half.

[Nikki Bella]

Easy, right? Easy, easy. And I feel like it kind of. Our boys, so her youngest, my one and only. They're four and a half. But it's. We hit a moment where I was like, okay, I started sleeping again, but since June, he wants to sleep with me. But I just. If I even move and he doesn't feel me, wakes up, goes, mommy, Mommy, mommy. Like, he needs me to hold him. And I feel like, June, I haven't slept straight in the night again. I feel like I haven't. It's like having a newborn again. I'm like, oh, my gosh.

[Andre Berto]

It's crazy.

[Nikki Bella]

So tiring all the time.

[Bri Bella]

And.

But you know what I did see?

Because we're all around the same age, that when we have babies around this age, so 40, we live longer.

Really?

They said that they're. The numbers are high, that we live closer to 100. When you have kids this age. And you know what? I think it must be. It's the purpose that we want to stay with our kids, the will to live. Because I have a number in my head. Like, I'm like, I have to make it to at least 97, because then my son will be 60. And I could be like, are you tired?

Seven.

[Nikki Bella]

Well, because Mateo will be. My son will be 60. So then I'll know, like, are you retired and taken care of? Are you okay?

Really thinking about.

I just saw them post. There's a fan who's 102, and she's still rooting for the Eagles.

You know, make it happen as well. He just came over. He had a tremendous season. Amazing season. I want to see if he's gonna be able to try to top it off.

It was definitely, I mean, definitely one of my favorite fighters growing up. I bet, I bet that'd be crazy just to be in the ring with.

How was it when you watched his fight against Jake Paul?

[Andre Berto]

You know, I was there and I actually, like I said, I've known Mike since I've been, I don't know, 17, 18 years old. And the thing with that fight is, is, is I believe people, they did a great job promoting the fight, but from me looking from the outside in, they were promoting a 20 year old mike Tyson. That, that was a phenom that everybody loved and they don't understand that that run that he had was probably for five years, from 19 to 20 on 25 until things start falling apart.

[Bri Bella]

Right.

[Andre Berto]

See what I'm saying? So they were just promoting that. That. I mean, like I say that small Mike Tyson, when he was just drilling, when he was on the damn, you know, mission smash and everything, but they didn't understand, you know, Mike Tyson's 56 years old.

[Nikki Bella]

Right, Right.

[Andre Berto]

Doesn't matter how much of an animal he used to be. He's 56 years old. You understand what I'm saying?

[Nikki Bella]

Yeah, that's such a great point. Because it actually would have been amazing to promote it, and I think would have given it even. I mean, it had everything more. But like, Jake Paul, you're talking shit to a guy. Not only is he a legend, but he's at this age gonna come in and kick your ass. And they. You're right. They should have amped that up more.

[Andre Berto]

Yeah. But I think, like I said, I mean, they did the right thing.

[Nikki Bella]

They did. And I mean, they had an insane amount of views show up. I mean, it crashed. It was like, so big, insane promotion.

They did what they supposed to. They wanted to promote the. The animal. Mike Tyson. We used to see him that we grew up watching, but like I said, it's not him.

Yeah, not him anymore.

He got a chance to see it.

And that's what it is. And there was a part of me that felt bad just, like, watching, you know, I was just kind of like, oh, goodness. Like, meaning we're like non denominational Christian but she goes to school where they talk about that. So I was like, oh, my gosh, bless her heart. Because, I mean, Virgin Mary is my girl, too. So I taught my son a lot about Mother Mary, all the things like, she's always by my side. It's. I put these statues above my staircase every night. And so. And I say a prayer. And Mother Mary, she's like one. In the main. I have Jesus and then Archangel Michael, and I've taught my son about these. And we give him kisses and we thank them. And this is how I prayed to him. Yeah.
