Yeah. But what I loved is everyone was so shocked and surprised. That was. And then when I came back, when I got the call, because whatever happened, you know, with Eva Marie, they called and they were like, hey, and Barclays Center, Brooklyn will always be a thing for me. But when I came back and they're like, can you come make it at SummerSlam? And having that surprise appearance after my neck surgery, Epic memory.

SummerSlam's kind of like my thing. I feel like now I. I will. It's you know, we. It's just my thing.

So tell us, like, what made you want to get into wrestling? Just, I mean, I know some of them know, but for also our Nikki and Bri listeners who are tuning in, tell us about that journey.

Know, which is kind of fun to talk about. Yeah.

[Jelly Roll]

I was a dancer, so I did NFL and NBA. And in high school, I fell in love with total divas, like, and I the best.

[Maxine Dupri]

Yes. Right.

[Jelly Roll]

So good. My grandpa was a die hard Monday night wrestling fan, and I literally did not know that we were watching the same product. Like, I was just like, no, I'm just watching these, like, hot girls, you know, I love them and I Started, like, realizing what it was. And then my now fiance, he was a childhood fan, and it just kind of became this, like, fun joke of, like, wait, I kind of love to do that.

[Maxine Dupri]

Yeah.

[Jelly Roll]

And so I applied a bunch online, heard nothing, and then I ended up emailing my modeling agent. And then I got a tryout at SummerSlam 2021 in Las Vegas and got signed and moved 30 days later. And I've just been on the hamster.

[Brie Bella]

Yeah, I love that.

[Maxine Dupri]

And then you meet the love of your life.

[Jelly Roll]

Yeah, we actually met before this. Oh, you did?

[Brie Bella]

No way.

[Jelly Roll]

No. So we've been together since 2019.

2018 and 2018.

Yeah.

So it was kind of his dream. I kind of stole it. I did the tryout, got signed. He was playing football, and then he kind of watched my journey, and he was like, okay, I think I'm ready. And then he got a trial and got signed, and.

Oh, my gosh. I didn't realize it was like that. That's right. And do. Wedding date.

[Jelly Roll]

December 31st.

[Brie Bella]

Oh, my God. Yeah.

Okay. The main. What's the. Is there a meaning for it?

Like, it's on a Wednesday so I don't have to miss work.

That's how we all got married. I feel like everyone has their anniversaries usually, like, after Wrestlemania. I feel like that's when, like, all wrestlers get got married, but.

At Naples, Florida.

Brie Earth. And I saw this red Herve Leger dress hanging, and I go, oh, my God. That's like what Nikki constantly wore on Total D and total ballads, so I had to put it on.

I bought it for.

I will admit it is super hot. I was very grateful. I know. You know what I mean? It's funny because I just got rid of all mine, and now, of course, they're coming back and I would have had all the vintage Herve Leger.

I know. I just got so sick of it being in my closet. Right. Well, Birdie. But once I started to get to know Birdie's personal, I'm like, she's not gonna wear De La Shay.

Chicago. I mean, but where's been your favorite?

Ah, that's such a good question. So, honestly, last week, we were in Detroit, and Natty and I had a main event match, and the crowd was, like, out of this world. We both were looking at each other when we. We did a double submission for the finish, and I had the ankle lock, and we're like. I'm like, this is, like. It was crazy. Like, electric. So I don't know if it's necessarily the city as much as it is the crowd of that night.

[Maxine Dupri]

Totally.

[Brie Bella]

Yeah, it is.

I know it's hard because I have to say, you know what's been amazing to see is being back, you guys. The fans have been so incredible with the women.

[Brie Bella]

And it's like, yeah. Like, honestly, you guys have ch. You all have been the main part of changing the game for the women, for sure. Just coming from the past and being here now and hearing how loud they are for the women and giving them a, like, you deserve a chance, or, this is awesome. And then I won, which I've never won anything, so that was good. I didn't know how to play the game. I don't know how I won, but. No, because they trusted me.

Or like, I don't know how they felt. So they killed all the housewives first, which was stupid because they don't know how to play the game. There's a strategic way, and then there's a way to make friends with them. So I made friends with everybody, figuring they're all traders.

I felt bad because, yeah, some of the competitions, like, people were freaking out over and I was like, yeah, we're fine, guys. Like, this is. We're good.

But Tom Sandoval picked on me every night.

Every single night. He was just gunning for me. And they cut a lot of that out.
