Yeah, the bitch ones. This is the Nicki and Brie Show. Happy Monday, everyone, and welcome back to the Nikki and Bri Show. Yay.
Hey, Bri.
Hey, Nikki.
These are cool.
They are very cool. How you feeling?
I'm feeling really good.
Oh, that's good.
Yeah, it's great. Morning. I have. Okay, so it's an ice matcha latte, but it's called the Mighty Matcha.
Oh, I know which one.
What is it?
Peppermint.
They put in here.
So I usually.
Peppermint and white chocolate.
Yeah. I usually get the cha cha matcha.
I mean, probably not the healthiest, but.
I made a matcha latte at home.
Cheers.
Cheers.
Okay.
Yes. And I'm very snotty, so, you know.
I know.
Great, great.
I feel like the whole world is. It's just felt like weeks since super bowl, which. How sad. Our super bowl episodes are gone.
They're done. The fun is done.
But I have to say, I am very excited for the next time we do SiriusXM's Radio Row and Super bowl, because it's in our backyard. It's in the bay.
San Francisco. We don't even have to get on a flight.
I love, love it.
And let's be honest, risk our lives, because lately it's been very scary.
I have to get on a plane tomorrow, so please.
I know. But I also am praying I don't have the flu. I don't have the flu.
So you're sitting next to me and you think you have the flu?
No, I don't. I just feel like everyone has the flu, right? Flu season and people really got it.
First of all, I legit, at one point in my life, was diagnosed with influenza B. I remember now when everyone, even me, at one point when we all were like, oh, yeah, I was homesick with the flute. No, no. Until you get a positive test. Because when you have the flu, it is one of the worst sicknesses ever. When you have a head cold, it's different.
I feel like I've had the flu once in my whole life. I definitely. You know what? I think I'm getting You would have.
You would have been so severely sick that you would have had to go to urgent care, the doctor, or the hospital. No, I'm getting pretty sure I did okay.
And I did get a test, like a decade ago.
You would know. You would for sure know if you tested positive for the flu.
There's a lot of.
You wouldn't forget it.
There's a lot of things in my life I don't know anymore. I don't remember. People tell me things.
Okay, well, how about this? I'm your identical twin and we. I know everything about you. You've never.
I've never had the flu.
You've never tested positive for the flu.
Okay, I'm. I feel like I have a sinus infection coming.
Okay. She would get bad sinus infections all the time. That was her thing.
And I haven't in a while.
Throat. And then I got the flu once.
Yeah.
Pregnant. I was pregnant, which was even worse.
Girl, I know. Who was like your maid, your chef, your doctor. I was all of it. And my guest room.
Yeah.
But no, I. I'm actually good. I just like to mess around with her. Because this is the thing with Nikki and I is when we're working, we work through sickness. So we'll, like, stare at each other like. Like in Super Boy. I'm looking at her just melting away, snotty. And we had to hold hands. And I was disgusted because I'm like, I. I saw her not clean her hand.
Well, no. Okay, first of all, I even had someone come up to me yesterday and go, been loving your super bowl episodes. But were you really sick? Because I know your voice and you sound sick. I go, actually, yes. And I had that sickness everyone was getting. And you have two really bad days, which were the two days I happened to be in nola.
Yeah.
But I was a very nice twin in the fact that I said to Bri, as I'd wipe my nose when I was dripping everywhere and doing a shoot, I go, hey, make sure not to put your hand by your face. Wash your hands before you touch your face.
I know, but how hard is that? For hours I was trying to, like, smile pretty and hours. But then think to myself, don't touch your face, cuz you keep holding your sister. Snotty.
By the way, like, how nice of me to remind you not to touch your face.
I know, mom. Thanks.
You're welcome.
It was actually funny because this morning. So I don't know about all of you right now, but you know, when we get sick, we all sleep and Hibernate. Right. But when my kids get sick, they want to hibernate with me. And it's just like they all. Yeah. And I'm someone who doesn't sleep through coughing. So if they're coughing by me, I'm awake. Or if they have a fever, I'm awake because I'm nervous. Like, whatever. I have not slept, I feel like, in three weeks. And legit. Buddy goes to me the other day and was like, why is every time I sleep with you, you get like really big circles under your eyes?
When you told me, I couldn't believe it.
I was looking at him as I'm cooking his eggs and I go, yeah, Yep, you're right. And I feel bad I had to do this because, you know, sometimes I step out of my mommy's shoes and, you know, I become. Yeah, the ones. But I go, hey, bud, did you know it's a proven fact that people who get poor sleep are 60% to being prone to negativity then positivity. If we want mommy to be 60% more positive today, that's too many numbers. Let me sleep through the night. He was back in my bed last night.
Yeah.
And. And he just started coughing again. And then this is just me in bed, wide eyed. You know, Brian, even the other day goes, bri, do you need to go to hotel and get like a good night's sleep?
Yeah.
But then I feel weird. I'm like, I don't know, I don't want to go down the street. We had a hotel by myself.
Right. Like, where I'm in a different situation is now that I have Mateo, half the time he, you know, he's been sleeping though, with me since June, so for a very long time. But he's moving around more. Or I just feel like I don't. Like, I even check my aura ring. I don't sleep consistent with him. And sometimes my sleep can be really bad. And then it's crazy because then the nights he's with his dad, I sleep. Remember I sent you mom my score the other night? I slept, you guys, almost 10 hours straight. And I'm not even a good sleeper. But it's. It is wild when you are alone in your bed and no one is waking you up.
But you know, when Brian's home alone, like, Buddy won't go in the bed with him because he's like, mommy, this.
Is what I keep telling myself. Even though I always look so tired when Teo sleeps with me, I know it's not going to be forever. And I'm gonna be. So I'm gonna miss it because I love cuddling with him. But he.
I agree.
He wakes me up all the time through the.
I just look tired AF all the time. But this is really funny. The other night, buddy comes in, so Brian and I put him in the middle of the bed. But you know kids, they slowly go horizontal and then kick you out. So I was like, f this, I'm gonna go to buddy's bed and sleep. So I went to buddy's bed, fell asleep. Well, Brian said it was, like, getting the morning time, and he. Buddy was like, on him, and he feels buddy's head. Now, I'm gonna visually do this, so you're not gonna be able to hear it, but go to our YouTube channel and watch me visually do this. But he goes to Brian. He goes and starts moving his head up and down on his chest, and then was like. And he goes, are you mama? And he goes, no, it's dead. And he goes, get out of the bed and starts kicking Brian, where's mama? But Brian goes, He was clearly with his head looking for your breast and confused why he could not fill a booby. Brian. Brian said in the mountain, he knew what he was doing, but he was like, how long is he gonna move his head and looking for your boobs? And then he's like. And then he said he slowly, like, touched his beard, too. Like, freaked out because he thought it was mama next to him the whole time. I was like, yeah. And the way Brian did the impression, like, I was crying.
Oh, my gosh. It was like, Teo, the other morning, when he. When he goes, mommy, there's a stranger in the bathroom looking at us. And I go. And I'm like, sound asleep. And I go, what? And he goes, there's a stranger looking at us. And I look over. It was my pot of flowers, but it did happen to look like a head. How the sun was rising.
You were like, a good one or a bad one?
Yeah. I'm like, what I told him is, I go, I'm just very happy that you recognized strangers that. That would be a stranger if they were in our home, not welcomed.
And in my head, I became, we're screwed if they're already right there.
I was like, what do I grab my crystals? Start checking my crystals at him.
I mean, the way you put mother.
Mary and no one's coming.
Archangel Michael, where they're right at.
And Jesus and Mary mountain, you have.
Them placed every night perfectly to, like, literally, they'll fight the stranger right no one's.
No one's going up those stairs. You dare? Just kidding.
See that out? No, actually, but, you know, it's. Yeah, it's just. I will say this as a mom, like, I think, like, so many of us, we look in the mirror and we're always like, dang, like, how tired we look, right? But it's so fun being a mom. Like, so many funny stories. Like, I. Honestly, I will say this. Sometimes the kids can. Birdie actually never irritates me at times. Buddy can, because he can be hard at times. Like, even last night, dinner, we always say our prayers before dinner. He goes, no, I, I, I, I. You know, they always talk ahead over everyone want to sing Farmer in the Dell for prayer. And I go, but that's not a prayer. So we're not going to sing Farmer in the Dell. We're going to speak from our hearts and say what we're grateful for, because how blessed are we to have this meal in this house. So Bertie starts to say, thank you, Lord, and he's like, farmer in the Dell. Like. And I'm just, like, sitting there tired. He didn't let me sleep, and I'm looking at him. I just made this homemade meal and I'm on my own, and I'm just like, why? Can we just listen to Birdie's prayer? But no, saying Farmer in the Dell three times in a row didn't listen to me. I threatened to take everything out of his room.
But really, we've really needed to vent this morning.
I mean, it's been very tiring.
We can.
I mean, we all know.
I mean, if you.
I didn't sleep a lot when the Eagles won Super bowl, and it's been going since.
Well, I mean, I. If you need to go nap and I can finish you, you could go do it.
You know, finally, you offer.
Yeah. Here we go.
You know what season's coming up?
Is that festival season, Bri? Yes, it is.
And Nikki and I, every year during festival season, always plan a girls trip.
That is right. And so how I feel we plan the most perfect festival trip is to get on Airbnb and first find the perfect house, then we could decide which festival to go to.
I mean, honestly. And I think the cool thing is, is that if we find some incredible house where all of us girls can stay, do a little cooking, a little swimming, then maybe I could put up my house and make a little money while I'm spending some money at these festivals.
You know what that. See, now, think about it. If you host While you're traveling, it's a great way to offset some of the cost of your own trip.
Ding, ding, ding. And if you've got a big year of travel ahead of you, hosting is a pretty cool and unique way to.
Make some money back, which I love, because 2025 is the year to be financially savvy. So don't leave money on the table when you travel.
Your home might be worth more than you think.

Well, you know, I have something to ask you, Nicole, and I'm sure a lot of people are wondering, but this was your first Valentine's Day. You know, being single, like, did it.
Feel first ever in my life?
No. But in a while, right?
Yeah.
Did it feel different?
No, it was actually. I loved it. It was amazing because I got Mato, and we were. Well, remember originally, Mato and I were supposed to go fly and see Mom. So our mom had a minor heart procedure done, but enough to worry about. And she's doing amazing. And so, I mean, like, really good.
Really, like, sparked energy in her.
She needed to get her heart worked on. And she's sleeping. Amazing. She's healed. Amazing. So Mateo and I, we were gonna Fly Friday and be my mom's. Mateo was going to be my mom and I's Valentine. And we had the whole weekend plan. We were gonna do the zoo, the train park, the whole thing. See the girls. So all the whole thing. But then, because Mateo had been fighting this head cold on and off, our doctor was like, don't put him on a plane because he's prone to ear infections. But it was cute because Mateo's like, are we still gonna go on adventures? And I was like, of course. So everyone in Napa talks about Half Moon Bay. Like, that is the escape to go to, right? That's where you need to go. And, like, Mateo has been talking a lot about San Francisco. So I had this whole idea in my head, like, okay, well, you know, maybe we'll do Half Moon Bay first, then head up San Francisco. But. So Half Moon Bay is everything everyone says it is magical. It gave me the vibes, Bri, because you and I being born San Diego and raised up around water for so long, I know we were desert girls for a while, but also being San Diego girls and, you know, especially me, I lived consistently in San Diego, the longest anywhere I've ever lived in my life. So to be back by the ocean like that, and it's very. We stayed at the Ritz, and it's very much for kids and animals. And then there was that Lemonos park or Lemnos. I'm going to say it wrong.
Little farm.
A little farm park for kids with rides and just a lot of fun things to do. So we had the best time. And Mato was just so loving and cute, and we had fun. That, like, honestly, was so special for me. Oh, and before that, you. You know, sometimes, depending what time we wake up and when I start to see the hot air balloons get blown up and, you know, take off, I was like, tao, let's go. So we. We literally put jackets over our pajamas. We ran over there. And then Mato loves. We. We watch the hot air balloons take off. We always get model bakery. And then he wants to go follow them. So this was the first time when we followed them where we saw one land at the school by the speakeasy. So it landed at the school. And I'm like, oh, tail. Let's just watch them all get out. Like, let's go. So he couldn't believe it.
I mean, he has an obsession with hot air balloons.
I mean, it is the most magical thing to him. His favorite. He slept last night. He fell asleep with the hot air balloon in his Hand. Oh, yeah. So cute. He's obsessed. So, anyways, we're watching everyone get out the basket. We're watching them start to deflate the balloon. And one of the women who was in charge. So sweet. She comes over, and she goes. The town goes, do you want to come get in the basket? Oh, my Game over.
Yeah.
So he gets in the basket, and he just couldn't believe himself. Then another gentleman who was in charge was, like, run over here, and he was telling everyone, you know, you, Bree. So they have you look inside when the hot air balloon is deflating. You feel like you're in a magical museum.
Like, you stay in the basket.
No, no, no. So you know how hot air balloons go on their side? So as that starts to deflate. But think of how big a hot air balloon is. But, like. Like. Oh, parts of it come in it. Because then I put my head through, too. I was blown away. 1. It's just. They're gigantic. Right?
Right.
So Mateo just loved it.
Oh.
He tried to run right in, and I had to, like, grab him. It was like my heart dropped it. So that started our Valentine's Day.
You know, one day, you're gonna take him on a hot air balloon ride when he's older.
Yeah.
And I know it freaks you out.
It freaks me out. But if he's going, I want to go. I mean, of course, you know, because he goes down.
Basket flying in the air.
Well, you know what kind of tripped me out?
What?
The basket is so big and heavy, and I'm like, how? And then I think of everyone who was in it, and I started in my head to add up their weight.
And just, like, a big parachute with hot.
Yeah.
Air going into it.
I just go, that is insane. But anyways, we're not even gonna think about that. But so that started our magical weekend. And honestly, like, Teo and I, we did so much. We had so much fun. We never made it to San Francisco, and he was sad about that, but I said, we're gonna go again.
We want to go to the botanical gardens here soon to go see all the magnolias.
He really wants to ride a cable car. And then they have the cable car museum, and I was showing him that. So we're gonna. We're gonna do that. But you know what else they have.
That I. I didn't realize? Ripley's Believe it or Not.
Yeah, they. And Lego San Francisco has everything. Yeah, everything. And he really wants to go. The chocolate factory. The original. I was like, of course. But. So in a long winded to answer your question, Like, I didn't feel like. Of course. I think in those moments, like, you know me, I've never been shy about this. I love gifts.
So we know.
You know it. One day I'll be getting gifts again. Maybe on Valentine's Day.
Yourself? Gifts?
Well, no. And I buy myself flowers and all that kind of stuff. But I think.
What.
You know what? Honestly, I think that's. Why not for one second did I say. Did I say, oh, poor me, or oh, I'm sad. I didn't feel it once I was. I had the best time. And all it made me want more was I told. I was texting you, like, we have to come to Half Bay Moon more.
For sure.
Amazing.
I mean, so Brian and I don't do gifts. We feel like Valentine's Day is fun. We're like, it's a cute holiday. But we're like, it doesn't need to be about gift giving. It's just.
Well, I mean, that's for you guys.
Well, I feel like everyone.
I think it could be for. But look, it. It doesn't have to be like, diamonds. I mean, but who wouldn't want diamonds on Valentine's Day? But it's like, could be boxing. This is a chocolate and stuff.
But this is my thing. This is. Once again, flowers is a gift. I'm pushing us to buy, buy, buy all these stuffed animals that are bad for the planet.
I didn't say skin to animals, but there's nothing wrong about balloons.
Okay, I know. Hey, I mean, I'll say this. Brian and I indulge for sure. We always do a spa day. That's our thing.
Okay, so that's a gift.
A gift. No, I know, but not like a. It's like, yeah, we get massaged up. We always do a couple's massage. And I have to tell you, this is funny. So our last couple's massage, I snored twice.
Oh, God.
But I'm the type. Like, when I snore in a massage, I laugh. I feel like you're the same. Like, we'll giggle. And so. Okay, so the. Our last couple's massage for Valentine's Day, and he was tired. He did not sleep. His neck was bugging him, and I could just see it in his face. I'm like, he is not staying awake for this massage. I just knew it. So all of a sudden I'm like. And I, like, thought maybe a giggle would come after or like, you know, a quietness. And no, like, he kept going. So I, like, looked And I go, oh, he's out. He was out. And then, like, she's trying to wake him up to flip over. And I'm, like, trying sorry not to laugh, but I'm like, enjoy your massage. Don't laugh at Brian. And, like, it took her a couple minutes to, like, wake him up and have him flip over. And then, like, I could. Like, he's totally like, you know, where am I? Like, and then he had all the lines on his face. I mean, I did, too, but you know what I mean? I was just like. Yeah. I was like, maybe you just, like, ask for another hour just sleeping on the bed.
Right. But that's where we.
We do indulge in that. We always.
Yeah. That's the major.
That's, like, our thing.
Yeah.
Yeah. But I mean, like, the whole.
And I think that's, like, a really good gift for.
And. Okay. And I'll admit, I do little things for my kids. So they wake up in the morning, I put, like, cute little arts and crafts. And, like, you.
It's almost like Easter baskets. I do this thing on tail when Teo came over, but I make sure.
They'Re, like, gifts that are a little educational and a little, like, something, like, physical they can do. Not, like, just.
Yeah, you don't have to explain it. I straight up gave Teo gifts and candy, and it was really cute. And I made him a homemade Valentine's Day card, and he loved it. He was obsessed.
Yeah, we do the cards, buddy. Yeah, it was cute. We all exchanged cards.
Yeah.
But the kids were really offended because, I mean, I wrote them a note. Like, I did, like, a homemade Valentine's. But Brian, you know, I got him this nice card, and, like, what I wrote and BR's. Like, well, I didn't get one of those.
Yeah.
And I was like, well, I wrote you a cute little, like, valentine. But, like, they really loved, like, my deep thought into Brian's card.
Yeah.
Like, they really wanted that.
So, you know, it's like speaking in Valentine's. It totally makes me reminisce when I, like, think I was doing a lot of Galentine's Day parties before. It was never called Galentine's Day.
Right. Well, you and I would throw a lot of, like, girls night parties.
Yeah. But I was. I. Because I remember it, and I actually still have some. I would always write everyone a cute card. Remember for Valentine's Day, I always did the cards. And then, remember the one year when I cut out? Did I get the Playgirl? And I cut out.
Yes.
I could have naked dudes and posted them. Like, that was one of my homemade Valentine's Day one year. But remember, I'd always have a Valentine's Day party for my girls at the condo.
I remember it.
And it was always very bachelorette style.
Phil.
But like, I think of, like, those were so fun back in our young 20s of those parties, because we always made Valentine's Day a big deal for each other. But it was the time to, like, we're all gonna get super cute. We're gonna wear pink or red, and we're gonna go out and have fun. It felt like a bachelorette night.
Well, and also at that age, more your friends are single.
Yeah, that's what I mean.
You know, so it's different because now, I guess at our age, if you're single usually means you're divorced or if you're single, like, it's different.
Yeah.
Because how many people do we know that are single? Maybe a couple.
I don't even know.
Like, if you were to throw single Galentine's Day party.
Yeah.
I think you'd only be able to send out two invites.
Right. Which is wild.
Yeah. So then you might as well just go to dinner.
Oh, well, yeah. I didn't even if. If I. If it wasn't my weekend to have Mateo, I. I would have chilled. I would have went to a spa day on my. By myself.
Even though I think it's actually fun if you do a Galentine's Day party and you can still be hooked up or like, have, like, you don't have to be single. It's just like girls celebrating each other at our age.
You're right.
That's what you do.
But I. I just was thinking about the. We were younger cuz, you know, for so many years, all of us would be single at the same time.
It was fun.
And that was so fun.
Or someone just went through like a funny breakup or a bad break or something. So we talk, like, majorly S H I T. Yeah.
Go look for hot.
But we should throw one next year.
I know. It'd be fun. Well, we could do it at the speakeasy. There was a big Galentine's Day party at the speakeasy. And by the way, what I loved about it.
Amazing.
They were. They were also married women there.
Yeah.
It was just a reason to get all the girls together.
Okay. We're doing that next year.
Do that next year. So see the girl. We could just make it, plan it like it's a girls trip or something. Just excuse to get the Besties together the weekend before Valentine's Day.
Okay, we're doing that. Also, something else that we're doing that we're really excited about is our podcast. Okay, Nicole, so I thought something that would be really fun is if we do a rapid fire on our latest obsessions. I feel like you and I always get asked, like, skin care, hair care, like all our different routines.
Well, that's like a trend right now, right? Your obsessions, yes.
But also I feel like for you, like, since you've been back, you know, people say at the Royal Rumble and with wwe, I'm sure you've had to, like, really amp up, like what your obsessions have been lately, you know?
No, but like carrying more.
Oh, carry. You know what I mean? So I'm sure people want to hear. Okay, so this is going to be rapid fire and then you can go in detail because you and I usually go in a lot of detail and never make it through.
But what if I don't remember my answers?
I will. It's not that hard. Okay, so your current obsession for skin care.
Serums.
Hair care.
The stuff you put in after you wash your hair. What's it called? It's like hair serum, I guess.
So serums, food. Oh, you're awful.
I'm awful? Well, I'm trying to think. My obsession's always so blah.
Yeah. So I guess it should be easy to say it.
Okay, well, I mean, I do La pickles.
There you go. Pickles.
Lunch meat and jalapeno. Hummus.
There you go. That's your lunch.
Yeah.
Fashion.
Bodysuits with high waisted pants.
Social media accounts or trends.
Like, people I like.
Yeah. Is there like one that you follow that's like amazing.
I don't think I really follow. Like.
You'Re awful. You should have did me.
I should have did you.
Wellness.
Well, I mean, you know, I love we care spa and anything that deals with detoxing and having a few days off for mind, body and soul. So that would be overall wellness or a good old spa day.
Yeah. Routines.
Well, I'll be definitely fixing up my water every morning and taking my vitamins.
There you go. Workouts.
It's either pure bar in the gym, weightlifting.
Yep. Every day, girl.
That's right.
Okay. Services.
I mean, I've been so. I've been doing my nails, but what I love is because my nails have been so bad, this is a gel builder, so there's a little bit of a fake tip to help my nails grow, but it's only gel based so it doesn't destroy my nails.
Amazing about TV shows.
Oh, what did I just finish Binging.
Oh, girl.
Oh, Magnolias. Yeah.
Sweet Magnolia.
Sweet Magnolias on Netflix. And I'm so excited because obviously next season is going to be from New York.
Oh.
Oh, shoot. Did I just give it away?
Yeah, you did.
Sorry. Shoot. I forgot. You didn't finish. Okay, well, you don't know who.
You're like the queen of spoilers.
Oh, am I the queen? But I've never given a spoiler alert or a spoiler.
Okay, song. I know there's one that has to be on repeat.
There is?
What? Let's hear it.
No, I'm now trying to think all of a sudden. Well, you know, it was actually the reel I just did of Mateo. And I know it's originally a Bob Marley song. A song three birds. And I came across the Casey Musgraves version of it. So I've been obsessed with it. But it was cute because when Mato and I kept listening to it in the car over Valentine's Day weekend, we were saying, the three birds are him, buddy, and birdie.
That's cute.
It's so cute. And so I love. I've been listening to that song on repeat because it keeps reminding me of that weekend with Teo. And like, just honestly, Bri, it was like the most special weekend ever. Like, we just had so much fun. And then. Oh, my gosh. Oh. And then Mato and I also played non stop if you going to San Francisco.
Oh, yeah.
About putting the flowers in your hair. You have to hear Mato sing it because we listen to it like 200 times or more. So he now knows the words. You know how kids pick up. So for sure, so. But it's funny because when I picked him up from school yesterday, I started singing. He was. No, no, no. San Francisco right now. Like, he was over it. But all weekend we played. We played that song as we were going through San Francisco. The Golden Gate Bridge. I'm like, bay Bridge, but we didn't take the Golden Gate.
But who cares? I'll just.
I wasn't supposed to explain, but that was the last one.
That's okay. Rapid fire never really works for you.
Okay. Your current obsession for skin care, this essential oil hydrate.
Hydration spray I have by living Grace. Let me tell you, it wakes me up. Hair care, I mean, I absolutely love. I just forgot their name.
Isn't it weird how rapid fire does that, where you just go blank?
I know. It's my shampoo and conditioner. Okay, whatever. I. I do nothing special, as you can tell from my hair. So.
Yeah, we definitely can.
Food, I've been loving right now overnight. Oats.
You have been? Because when we were at the coffee shop, you brought that up.
No, it feels good.
It does feel good. We. I've been ripe. I've been back on my yogurt kick. Yeah.
You know what? It's like, I feel satisfied, but at the same time, like, because, you know, I like a little cacao in the mix. I feel like it cures my sweet tooth too.
100 food. I mean fashion.
Oh. I mean, jeans and a tea.
Yeah. Social media counts are trends.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I.
Know who you're going to say.
Joanna Gaines.
Oh, no.
Who are you thinking?
Nikki Reed.
Oh, I do love me Nikki Reed.
You made me go down like a deep thing with her. I'm like, I love her aesthetic and vibe.
Yeah. She's is my fave. But as of late, just because I'm starting to prep my garden beds and stuff. Joanna Gaines. I always, like, find myself going back and looking.
I love.
And I have a couple other, like, gardening people I'm obsessed with, but you know, I love that. Yeah, I love me some home goods, too.
Love you some home goods. Oops. Wellness.
Oh, Matcha latte. Which I feel like everyone is getting now. Matcha lattes have been around forever, but now, like, Starbucks is hitting it hard.
Starbucks has always had much lattes. Hard.
That's really promoting. I know, but Anyways, I like making them at Hope. Clever blends. Matcha latte will make you feel like you're home.
And wellness routines.
I mean wellness routine obviously. I do my vitamins every morning and that just sets my day off.
Oh, I like that. Sorry, what are you texting is your. No workouts? Because there was someone's social media that I've been going back to a lot. So I want to tell you.
Okay. For me, I, you know, we all know I'm a cardio queen, but I've been really hitting the weights even if I only have 20 minutes. Like you see my weights by my bed, I'll look in the mirror. I do all my stuff like squat. But weights have been like my thing.
I love that. And look, I. I do need to break down some of this. This rapid fire. Just so you know, services my cleaning.
Service every two weeks. They detail clean my house. And let me tell you, that makes it feel like Christmas every two weeks. And I will never give it up.
No.
I walk into my house and I sometimes even just want to do takeout because I don't even want anyone to get water in my kitchen sink.
It's. I, I agree. When I do budgeting, cleaning service is always the first because that is the one thing that is like such a. Not guilty pleasure. But what would you call it? Just luxur. Luxury. Am I like just. That is the one thing I like to spoil myself with because you know.
They get places where I just might not get because I'm too tired.
Yeah.
And they do it and I just love it.
Me too. Movies, TV shows.
I mean right now Sweet Magnolias is my jam.
I love them.
Makes me feel good.
You feel so good. Their fashion's cute and you just feel good.
Yeah. It's like dramatic.
But I like by the way, she. Her Instagram account.
She's super cute.
Super cute. And she cuz she has her own like blogger type of one.
Joanna Garcia, right?
Yeah. So it's not her personal one but her other one where she does all different.
Yeah.
Flower bouquets, cooking.
Very cute.
Yeah, very cute music.
Oh well, you know, because I was in your car the other day and Blitzen Trapper came on. I love the way you walk away. So that's been on repeat and that's like. Was Brian in our wedding Song. But I haven't listened to it in a minute. So I've been playing that a lot.
I love that. You know when we go back to like our obsessions, you know when I break down skincare and of Course, I'm obsessed with serums, but I've been, like, really focused on, obviously, you and I have always talked about anti aging lasers, but really focused on, like, okay, I'm 41 and I. I realize, like, where I've lost fat and collagen, and I'm not someone who eats.
Like, I've lost any fat in my face.
Oh, well, I'm like someone who just. I. I could tell areas where you use it when you do the research. Like, we're at that age and it always hits under eyes mainly Right. For everyone first and then in other places. So I'm. I'm just someone who's like, okay, I won't ever do, like, filler because I just. I have strong features and I know, like, it won't work for me.
Fillers won't work. I mean, I already have big cheeks that I try to. I'm sure people look at me and they're probably like, oh, she did fillers. Like, nope. And I just have really big cheeks.
Right. So when I've been researching a lot, I found out, like, a lot of people are putting stem cell under their eyes.
You were showing me this.
I was showing you this.
This. No, this is up my arm.
This has become an obsession of mine because I've now figured out where to go. And on top of it cost, which I'm like, okay, so now we need to create a savings bank. But. So that has been my obsession as of late. To me, it's like, I. I want to go somewhere and know that, like, it's legit, it's great, and just have something to save for. But I've seen people's results, and it's incredible. All these go away for the most part.
This.
This is the one thing that people have such a. Such a misconception of. And when I was talking to this woman about this, she's like, see, you have the right mindset. Because this was my thing. I go, look, I'm not trying to look like I'm in my 20s or my 30s. I just want to look like, refreshed, revived me of me, me. That's it. I want to. Yes.
Like, I slept 10 hours.
Yes. And she goes, see, that's a perfect mindset. Because some people will be like, wait, but I still have a wrinkle. I still have this.
Oh, yeah.
You can't ever erase that. So will you still maybe have some stuff under your eyes?
Yeah.
But you're gonna look a lot more refreshed and revived than you did before.
Yeah, I don't mind looking 41. I don't need to look 25. I just want to look a little refreshed. I feel like I tired a lot.
Yes.
And I'm also someone like, I can catch myself. Where. Because I know they say sleep on your back, but sometimes I do sleep on my side.
I mean, too. Because I'm so tired that sometimes you.
Almost feel like come. Well, I don't know.
I was always a back sleeper because of having surgeries at such a young age. It wasn't until my pregnancy, because the fourth trimester, you're on your side. That's what got me in the routine of sleeping on my side. And I've never really broke it. And I'm like, oh, I was always a back sleeper till then. But that's fine. Yeah. When we talk about hair care. What? I've realized it's so important to use stuff that the Vines. Oh, she thought of it.
Divines is my favorite hair care. Okay, keep going.
But that help with split ends. So I have like, those oils. Well, it's like a serum you put in after you get out of the shower when your hair is damp and.
You put serum or an oil.
It's a serum. Well, it's not even that. It's like a cream based. You know what I mean? You put in your hair and it's supposed to be good for split ends. So that's been like my obsession of, like, taking better care of my hair. So you know what? I did find out that I kept wondering and even my hairstylist, like, why is your hair getting so dry? Like, it just doesn't make sense because how I take care of it, I go, I agree. I found out that here this whole time, I thought I had a filtered system in my house of water. No. So for the past two and a half now, three years, I've had hard water just hitting my hair. That is what's been drying out my hair.
Yeah, but a lot of people have that. And so. Because water filters are expensive.
Yeah. But sometimes did you feel like salt in it or different things.
Yeah, but did you feel like that the serum helped soften your hair?
It's helping for sure. But I mean, water's such a big part. So there's something else that, you know, I need to do. You know, you know, fashion. I have to say I'm obsessed with skims, like from their T shirts and the bodysuits. But I love it. But there's nothing.
Like, I get all my bodysuits from free body suits.
And like jeans. I just love it.
Girl, you're speaking my game. That's all I want.
Like sexy.
I feel sexy, but I cover up. I feel like I'm. I feel sexy, but I'm covered.
And that's like.
And it makes me feel comfortable.
Yeah, I feel comfortable, confident and sexy.
I remember I was on a girls trip and one of my friends was like, you really can wear bodysuits and jeans every day. I'm like, this is the thing that makes me feel sexy. And like covered up.
And you could wear tennis boots or high heels. It all goes. And you could pair it with a choker.
Girl, when you ask me how do you have a carry on? It's.
She tucks and rolls those bodysuits.
Everything's rolled. And then I either bring a sneaker, which usually I'm wearing on the plane, and then just a high heel. A nice black high heel. Yeah, goes with everything. Okay.
And then the social media account because there was someone that I was digesting Gabby Bernstein. She just came out with a new book called Self help, but she had already, she's already had New York time best selling books.
Oh, really?
Yeah. So I've been like going down her thing. She's spiritual, but she, that's someone who I've been going down. She's a good follow and she puts good quotes and all that kind of stuff, so.
Oh, I love that. Yeah. Well, DM me her.
I will. I'll DM you her because you'll be really interested in her stuff. And then real quick, okay. Because I know our rapid fire is taking long, but when we were talking about like wellness routines, workouts, something I'm very interested in diving into because a lot of people were talking about it when I was over at the Royal Rumble. Just like people mid-30s, it seems like an up, but about like doing peptides but for bone growth and like muscle building, but for women. Because that was the one thing I was like talking to girls like, oh, it's so hard. I'm like working out so hard and doing all these things and you take one day off and it feels like your abs go away or you're just not building muscles fast as you used to. But like, I'm working out really hard. And some people were like, you don't, you don't take peptides to help you with that. I'm like, what? They're like, well, aren't you in your 40s? So then when I was talking to the doctor and they're like, yeah, someone who's Doing your kind of activity, you should be taking Peptides. It's natural. But like where you're at with your age and just went into the details. I know. So that's been an obsession I need to do.
I want to do a dive on that too because when I work out, obviously it just feels different now and then sometimes like my shoulder right now I feel like I can't lift as like much as I usually can and it just throws me with my workouts and everything.
No, I'm as, I mean I have been so obsessed about longevity, but really about stem cells peptides. Because what I've realized is sometimes you and I are afraid of taking things, but then sometimes these things actually enhance longevity of life or health or they're things that we actually need because we, our body isn't producing what it used to.
Right.
So that's made me quite obsessed with like, okay, you know what if I have this here in front of me, like I, I, I could get to it. Why am I not using it? You know, I'm the same.
I'll be honest. This is and I feel like, you know, listeners can maybe relate. I'm someone like, I love doing research but sometimes I feel like I never follow through with stuff. Like people will tell me this great information and do this for your body, it's awesome. But then I always forget to take those next steps to actually like buy or like really connect with the doctor, talk more about it. So Peptides is definitely on my list.
I agree. Well, I know we, we want to wrap this up and so I say we leave everyone with a little bit of inspiration, affirmation. You and I dmed each other this and I feel like it actually goes great with everything that we've talked about. But as soon as you choose you, everything else chooses you too. This is your season.
Yes. And which, which account did we dm each other us from? Give them a little cred.
Give them a little cred.
But I do, I mean I feel like we say it a lot where it's, you know, the minute you choose you, it feels like everything changes because so many times and I say it, I'm not going to just say as moms because I do feel like as moms we do put everyone first. But as moms, we do really need to choose ourselves.
Right.
You know, choose you. Everything else will just be and follow and you know, better.
Well, and I love having the mindset of this is your season. I think it's so great to tell yourself that and envision that and goal set for that. It kind of shifts your day if you think about it. If you wake up in the morning, you look in the mirror and you're like, this is your season. Think of how you would end up conquering that day. You would have a different beat in your step. You'd. You'd have different feels. And so spiritual. It's from at the Spiritual Magic. Great quote. And hey, girl, it's our season. It's ours. How did that feel when you say that?
Right? Oh, yeah. You almost want to celebrate.
Do you know what I mean? And those are like the affirmations you got to tell yourself in the morning, like, because it just changes every. You just do your day different and you do it better.
And to get your kids to do them too, like, they should be doing affirmations because kids got to deal with so much crazy stuff at school. So to get them, like, pumped up and feeling strong and confident before they're off is exactly what they need as well.
I agree.
