Not gonna lie. I feel like it's kind of because of me, why you guys won. But we'll save that for another day.

You're right, Bri. I'm a champion in my heart and other people's hearts. Yeah.

You know, there's twins, there's triplets. There could be three tag champions.

Oh, my gosh. No one ever does five days in Vegas.

No. And we'll probably be here for seven. But it's special because we have a mini audience today. We have our fam in the house.

We got our mom, Aunt Tony. We have Danica. We have Sarah Scott. We have our team over here. Claire, cousin Maddie, Molly. So we got a little. We got a mini live. If you guys want to wave, everyone can see you guys, so yay. Oh, and we also have our friends up. Oh, we got everyone. There you go.

Hello. Thank you. We love you. I've actually seen a lot of people with WrestleMania shirts today.

The WrestleMania. Well, I mean, was last night, so,

[Brie Bella]

you know, but I didn't see him yesterday or the couple days, but today I was, like, walking around, I'm like, oh, yeah.

[Nicole]

Well, day one was last night, I guess.

[Brie Bella]

They got their merch.

[Nicole]

Their merch. They got their merch. You know, when you go to, like,

a concert or whatever and you get fired up, and the next day you're wearing the T shirt for, like, the

[Brie Bella]

next few days, Every single concert I went to got me.

[Nicole]

Exactly.

And I waited in those long lines and I got my merch shirt.

[Nicole]

And what did you wear the next day?

[Brie Bella]

My merch shirt.

So there you go.

So, Bri, where do we start?

[Brie Bella]

I mean, I feel like you finally showed everyone that you're injured. Oh, you gave us all a little taste on Instagram where you showed your stitches. And I feel like people were really confused the last couple weeks because they would see you in a boot, and they're like, is she pretending to be injured? Is this, like, part of the story? And also, when you think about it, when you got injured in the match, when we went against Charlexa, we kind of disappeared from the story going into WrestleMania. And I think people were wondering, like, is this injury part of it all? So I feel like you have to clear it all up and tell everyone one. What happened to you. And I might be a champion, but you're a badass for completing that match. So we gotta. I. I just think the injuries, the whole core of just everything, right?

[Nicole]

So that tag match, we were in Pittsburgh, Bri and I versus Charlotte and Lexi. And what was crazy is I literally hurt myself. Probably what the first. Was it 30 seconds of the match, and poor Brie and Lexi, which is great to hear your perspective. I definitely knew something happened when Charlotte and I were in the ring. Like, definitely immediately, I was like, oh, I. I Broke my ankle. I definitely think I just broke my ankle. So when I tagged out to Brie, I was like. I told Bri and then Lexi, because. Wait, was Lexi in the ring at that point? Yes, because I have a hold on her. And I'm like, you guys, I broke my ankle. And they both were like, wait, what? What? Get out. But this is the people pleaser in me. I knew the WrestleMania storyline was starting that night. I knew obviously, Bailey and Lyra in the back. I have the girls ringside, and I'm like, I can't ruin this for everyone. Like, if I stop, that means nothing's going to happen tonight. So I was like, I have to push through. That was what I was thinking inside.

[Brie Bella]

Like, sure, I know. I know you very. You know me, and that's very you.

[Nicole]

But I put Bri and Lexi through a lot in that match. I was in an insane amount of pain. I have a high pain tolerance. Obviously, I was working with a broken neck for a long time. I've just go through pain and it takes a lot to take me out. But, okay, so I was like, what is this?

[Brie Bella]

That was my second match in eight years. So I already wanted to vomit before walking out. I already had high anxiety. I was already nervous. When she tags me and says, I think I broke my ankle. I was like, what? And then she's like, just gets out. And then Lexi goes, did your sister just say she broke her ankle? And I was like, so I tag her. And she goes, oh, yeah, I broke it. And I.

[Nicole]

And then we put her up in the double suplex. I have never felt pain shoot through my bite from this is when I was like, I think it really is broken because the pain that was shooting through my calf, all the way through my hip, my knees, to my brain. Honestly, I was like. When we lifted her up, I was like, oh. Like, this is crazy.

[Brie Bella]

I mean, you just kept the whole time going, oh, it's getting worse.

[Nicole]

Okay.

[Brie Bella]

And we go, do we need to call the match?

[Nicole]

Yeah. Like, he's like, throw me in a hold. But I don't know. I mean, I think it's funny because it's me, but you know how I wanted to, like, jump off the top rope and, like, do this big move. And then when you brought her just older arm, and I'm like, holding on the rope and I just kick her arm. At that point, I knew. And what I. What I want to clear because at first, Naya had gotten a lot of heat online and she actually helped me is when it came to the end of the match, and the girls had to take us out. I knew at that point, like, I couldn't even put weight on my foot at that point. And I was in so much pain where I knew. I was like, oh, gosh, this is really bad. And I knew what was about to happen. So when she came to take me out, I looked at her and go, please, no, my foot hurts so bad. And she goes, wait, what? And I'm like, I can't get thrown out. I need to step out. So she, like, helped me help me step out. But people made it like she injured me. And I was like, no. Naya actually really helped me in that moment, because I don't know what would I would have belly flopped on the ground if I got thrown out because I knew I couldn't put my feet down.

[Brie Bella]

Well, what was interesting is when you. And this is all you guys being talked in the match, which if you go back and probably really study the match, you can see us all talking.

[Nicole]

I went another.

[Brie Bella]

You said, it feels like fire's going up my shin.

[Nicole]

I forgot when I said that to you. Yeah.

[Brie Bella]

That usually means you broke a bone.

[Nicole]

Yeah.

[Brie Bella]

When people describe broken bones, they usually explain fiery feelings going, like. You can feel it going high up and all down. And I immediately was like, oh, she broke. She broke her ankle.

[Nicole]

I wrestled eight minutes on a break. Well, broken, torn, and sprained, which we'll get there.

[Brie Bella]

Yeah. So my husband wrestled pretty much eight more minutes with a broken arm. Now you wrestled eight more minutes with a broken ankle. Don't ever put me in that situation.

[Nicole]

Yeah. Where you have to, like, maybe give

[Brie Bella]

me a broken finger.

[Nicole]

And we're all, like, people pleasers. So, you know, we just keep going. And what was crazy is, of course, it's the one time I bring Mateo on the road. Right. Like, where we're in Pittsburgh. It's not like I brought him to a show that's in Sacramento. And we drive home. We're in Pittsburgh, headed to New York the next morning. And so when I come right back, well, first the doctors check on me in the side, and they're like, you need to go straight to the training room. And then Bri helped me wobble back. And then Mateo's the first, like, face when I come back, and you could just tell he's worried about me, but then, like, needs me to hold him. So even Claire, who's in here, knows, like, I'm holding Mateo wobbling to the trainer's office with, you know, now that we know everything I had with my ankle. And I remember just being so much pain. But as a mom, you're like, my son's worried. So, like, his feelings are first, not my ankle. But it's cute because you guys have to see this photo that Bailey took because, you know, this is the one thing. And, you know, we break the fourth wall now all the time in our industry, but, like, all the girls are in the training room with me. Everyone's really worried.

[Brie Bella]

I mean, we might be friends with them, but we'll still go out and kick their ass.

[Nicole]

Hell, yeah. You know, gold is on the line. I'll still talk about it.

[Brie Bella]

I don't care.

[Nicole]

I'll hurt their feelings.

[Brie Bella]

Barkley and Jordan were friends until it came to the court.

[Nicole]

That's right. You know, I mean, but anyways.

[Brie Bella]

But they checked on you.

[Nicole]

They. They checked on me. And Bailey got the cutest photo because Mato, the whole time, he was. I'm getting my ankle checked. Mato's in between my legs. And then he had to get his ankle check because he started to feel pain. And he's like, oh, I need to get wrapped. Remember how cute that was?

[Brie Bella]

Yeah, he saw thing. He goes, I need to see a doctor.

[Nicole]

Yeah, that was so cute.

[Brie Bella]

We were all like, well, what's wrong? What did he say was wrong?

[Nicole]

Well, first he said his head, but then he saw my foot. He goes, oh, my foot. Like, it's my foot. And so we both are getting wrapped and checked on, which is really cute. I just love this era of these women that are moms who all, like, you know, some that have their kids back, because it's just so cute to see, like, what they do in the ring, and they come back and they're just like, mom feels like, even Becky, when she came back with her little girl on the ramp, like, we get these cute moments, and, you know, as moms, it's so special. But so they tell me, like, oh, yeah, I think you just sprained it. Like, you'll be good. And I was like, oh. So they wrap me up, and I'm, like, wobbling down the hall in a boot. But I was like, wow. Don't feel like spraying, but okay. You know, I haven't sprained my ankle since soccer days, so maybe, you know, it's just sprained ankles have changed. I don't know. And so we all travel the next day, you know, go to New York

out of all places. All places where you have to walk

[Nicole]

with Mateo, and because he's with me this whole trip.

[Brie Bella]

And Nicole door Dashes.

[Nikki Bella]

A knee roller.

What's it called?

[Nicole]

Yeah, I mean, technically they're called like knee rovers, but now people call them knee scooters. But. But I doordashed one because doordash is amazing. You could doordash anything to your door. So I doordash1 because I pumped up New York so big time for Mateo that I was like, I can't not take him to all the things. Like, I just gotta get on this knee rover, take him around Central park because he like sits right there on the knee rover actually ended up being pretty perfect. But so then, you know, I have two days and, you know, off days in New York with Tay. And then we have msg. And because they think it's just a sprain, they're like, we're just gonna tape you up really tight. Like, don't do a run in, but like, can you do a walk in? Like, sure. Even though you know it hurt. But I was like, whatever. So they taped me up tight. I still had a good strut. We got him at that.

[Brie Bella]

Yeah. You're walking faster than me.

[Nicole]

Yeah, I know. Well, the thing is, is once I got on a roll, I knew I couldn't stop.

[Brie Bella]

Like, it was like, is this like a race?

[Nicole]

Well, you know what? I realized that I was finally walking heel, toe. Oh, normal, normal. You actually might make fun of me because they say I walk toe heel.

[Brie Bella]

Is that what you say?

[Nicole]

Or just stomp. Well, actually, I think after this I'll end up walking normal because all therapy is. Yeah, exactly. So I'll finally be good.

So we do msg, but when they take. When they cut the tape off of me, which was the most, it was insane pain. All of a sudden, they're like, I think we need to get her an mri. So the next morning, before Brie and I go do media and then fly out, I go get an mri, Bri and I do our media. And then we're sitting, we get an aperol spritz, a nice little lunch before we have to catch our flight. And then I get the call, which sometimes calls aren't that quick after an mri. So when I saw one of our doctors calling, I was like, oh, gosh. So I answer, and they're like, don't know how you managed to do all of it. And then just broke it down to me that I tore, sprained, and fractured my ankle.

[Brie Bella]

So it was crazy.

[Nicole]

And they're like, you're just gonna have to go straight to Birmingham. You can't go home. And we're gonna get you in surgery asap.

[Brie Bella]

Right. Well, I was filming Nicole because I thought it was gonna be good news.

[Nicole]

Yeah.

[Brie Bella]

So we can be like, yay. And, like, use it for YouTube or whatever. And then all of a sudden, I saw her face and, like, her eyes start to get, like, watery, and I just was like, oh, no.

[Nicole]

Yeah.

[Brie Bella]

Because, like, listen.

[Nicole]

Oh, my heart sunk.

[Brie Bella]

It's obviously WrestleMania season. I mean, now Mania's here. But when she got this call, and even people at this time, if you're getting a concussion, you're out two to three weeks.

[Nicole]

Right.

[Brie Bella]

Any type of injury, you know, you're just too close to Mania to really make like, it's too hard. And so you just. When I heard that, and at this point, we didn't even know really what she did yet?

[Nicole]

Well, I. Like, I really didn't lie to you guys when we did the Fishbowl with, you know, Becky and Cody and Addie and, you know, on the Nicki and Brie show, I. When I told you guys my ankle was sprained and I was going to be good in seven, ten days, that's because.

[Brie Bella]

What.

Well, no, just remember I talked about that on the podcast, and people are like, but she's fine. She said seven to ten days. And then. But we then couldn't talk about when I got the news Tuesday. So I was. I was in Birmingham getting checked Thursday morning. I went to surgery Friday.

Like, that's. Everything was so quick. I was like, but what's crazy is

if you were at the live podcast in New York at the Fishbowl, Becky asked me, like, well, Brie, if you could pick a partner, who would you pick? And I just said, saraya, and everyone forgot. And then I go, wait, wait. We're gonna start rumors and headlines because it hadn't even been talked about. I. Like, we talk to Paige all the time, but, like, there wasn't even. It was a joke.

It was a joke because we thought I was gonna.

But then I had to cut it from the show because I go, I think people are gonna think I'm serious. But literally, Nikki's in Birmingham getting her surgery. And I text Ray and I go, hey, I. I think I might be out of mania too. Which I told. I told creative. I go, listen, I'm fine to be out with Nikki. Like, I'm okay with that. Like, please don't think you need to, like, stress about me. Like, I can take a seat with her, and when Nikki's healed, I'll come back with her. That's great. And they're like, well, we're just all trying to.

Like, we're scrambled.

We're trying to figure it out. So I was like, okay, just let me know. But I was in Birmingham with Nikki. And then I text Ray and she goes, shut up. I'm in Birmingham. And I was like, what? I'm like, nikki's in Birmingham getting surgery, you guys. They were in Birmingham at the same time.

Crazy. I think when she was flying out, I was just getting to the doctor's office. Like, we just missed each other. Yeah.

And so it was interesting, but she was Like, I mean, I don't know if they'll have me. Like, there hasn't been talks. Like, this is like, I don't. You know. Yeah, it was a lot on her because she's like, you know, like, I don't eat girl. I'm not even with them yet, you know? Yeah. But she's like, whatever. I'm there. Like, Paige always rallies with that.

She's so, you know, just incredible.

And so I was like, okay, well, I don't know if it'll even work. Like, I don't even know. I don't know. I'm just saying this. Who knows? And so it was just, to me, kind of stars starting to align that you guys were even just there at the same time. But it was kind of weird because after that, everything felt very confusing.

Right. Well, you know, it was hard on me because they wanted me to keep it quiet. Right. And as you know, I'm very honest with you guys, and I've been very honest with everyone for, like, the past, like, 15 years. I mean, I've never seen my mom sitting here. She's like, yeah, I know. I had to live through that. Like, I've.

Like, you can only binge so many shows, right? Then I'm like, oh, I need a break from, like, everything and just be in my thoughts. But then I didn't like being in my thoughts because then I'm like, I'm

lying to the world, right?

People are spending money to get to Vegas because they think they're gonna see Brie and I, and they're not like, you know, I was fighting emotions, which I was very honest about. And then sometimes they make you feel like, she's such a woman, right? When you're like, I get this is business, but let me just tell you the emotional part about it, because I love my Bella Army. And I was battling that whole week. Like, I don't like lying because I knew at this point it was going to be Paige and Brie, and I knew I wasn't competing, but I knew everyone on, you know, they were playing up, like, I was going to be fine. And I was really battling, Like, I've built my career, and Bri and I are where we're at because we connect with our Bella army so much, because we live in truth. We walk in our truth. Like, we share the good, the bad, and the ugly. I feel like I'm not walking in my truth right now, and that's very hard on me. And then, you know, the conversations I had made me feel better. Like, okay, you're right. Like, sometimes I have to remember that, like, this is the side of wwe. That's the magic side. You know, we have surprises and things happen. But I think the line that I cross is, like, Bri and I are different in a lot of ways because we were reality stars, and that came from in the ring and outside of the ring. So I always look at even still, even when I'm in stories with people, I bring a lot of truth to it, for sure. So it was really, really hard, especially when I'm, like, walking even the red carpet at hall of Fame and, like, the page stuff got leaked and, like, I still have to keep going. Right. That I immediately knew, like Wrestlemania is done. Right. So that already tore me apart. And then stepping in knowing like Paige, of course that's hard. It was even hard in the moment. Like all of it was hard because it's not like we're 30 and we know, like, oh, it's fine, girl. Like, we're at moments here we are literally on our last run, and I don't think a WrestleMania moment for me is going to come around. I get that I'll probably have my last WrestleMania next year in Saudi maybe, but other than that, that will be it for me. So this would have been my last WrestleMania moment to share with family members and share with people here and, you know, really feel something. And I've worked really hard the past year and a half and I've. I haven't complained. I've done what I've been told, you know, I've helped put people over, even though I don't care about that. But I've really, as far as, like, my character and the impact that I can have, I've been very okay taking a step back and helping out and not bitching about it. So this was my moment that I worked really hard for this past year and a half and for that to all go away is extremely hard. And knowing too. Like, I'm very smart on knowing forever. And, like, I had to really sit back as I was elevating my leg 24 hours a day and really be like, that moment's gone. So we gotta heal from that and we gotta know, like, you're not getting that back. It'll never be first time tag team champion. Sabella Twins, your tag team champ. You will be a two time. If we ever win, I'll be a one time, but we may never even tack again. I don't even know.

We don't know. And I will say because of my age and being a mom, and I think more about longevity of life. So for me, I'm going to make sure this heals up so well before I even step in that ring. You know, right now we're thinking it's six to eight weeks, but if it's three months, it's three months. Because I have the rest of my life to chase Mateo on soccer fields and do all the things without being in pain. I'm not. I'm not my 30s anymore. I'm not my 20s anymore. So I'm not gonna for, like, try to come back quick to, like, gain a moment. The moment's past. There's going to be other moments. This is a journey life. God did this for a reason. You know, my faith makes me believe in that. God wouldn't have had this happen to me if there isn't A reason. And the reason's going to come, and I'm going to see it. I'm going to go, thank you, God. This is why this happened. And this is. Look at the great things that brought me. You know, maybe it protected me from a moment with my neck, me there. I have such faith, knowing, like. Like, that's why I'm not lingering so much in the hardness. Because he has me and I know, like, I'm okay. Like, life is amazing, and there's something else there. This is the journey. And honestly, it wouldn't be the Nikki Bella story without overcoming something before. Of course, I say my final goodbye. I mean, it's all about overcoming, right? I mean, the minute I took that name, Fearless, I mean, that was like, no joke. Talk about manifestation. They're like, well, you're gonna manifest every single. We're really gonna make her mean, Fearless, mean something, honestly.

Well, I think it's always good to find the silver lining. And, yeah, you know, Nikki and I were saying. Because obviously, there was a big part of me where I had really long talks with Brian where I was like, I don't know. I think I should pull out. I just think I should pull out. I know.

I just don't think you.

And. Because it's not. The moment's with us.

They're like, we will bring her back in a heartbeat. Like, who would that be?

And then I tried to pitch one, even like before WrestleMania on SmackDown, but no go. But I was just like, I don't know. Like, there was just a lot of, like, are people gonna even know we're part of the story anymore?

And I mean, that was like the crazy part.

I. And then all of a sudden, Bellas are gone.

And she's like, you know, I didn't think I was gonna make WrestleMania. And then I told Matt technically I was on WrestleMania because my boot was on it.

So funny. But. But I didn't try it on before. And she's a size seven and a half. Also when I put my foot in, I'm a size 9, my toes were out. That hurt. Oh, it didn't feel great, let me tell you. Yeah, and my stitches were still in because I ended up getting my stitches out after the match. And so they. It was like pushing really hard on the stitches and I was just like, go through it.

Yeah, well, you know, it was funny because I saw trending a lot. Like people like tried said something about the stage that it looked like a downgrade. But being out there, I thought the stage looked gorgeous.

Oh, it was amazing.

Good. Because, like, I've been, you know, obviously, Brian, you guys have seen. I've put, like, little teases out on my social media that Brian is my coach. But you know, he's been training me a lot with the yes kicks, and he wants me to really just try to get on the ball of my foot and pivot a little more, which. So we've been training. And I go, I didn't go on the ball of my foot as much, especially because I knew I was doing the left, and I get nervous with balance.

No, totally.

[Brie Bella]

So he's like, yeah, we'll practice this week. We're getting more on the ball of our foot and pivoting. And I'm like, but you have to see how he does it. Like, training and. But yeah, I was, like, so nervous to see him last night because I'm like, oh, I bet he's judging those. Yes.

You girls ever. I have to say, everyone crushed their moves, like, their mo. Well, so. Because you know, when you're in it, sometimes you don't know, like, you can't hear the crowd. You know when you guys are in it. Because when I talked to some of

the girls, but I also got thrown in the barricade, and I was.

Oh, yeah, you were out there. I was like, do I need to go check on her? It feels like it's been five minutes. I mean, it's only.

Well. And then I got a choke slam on the apron.

Yeah, I loved that. Just kidding. No, but it was.

It was look like, yay.

I'm like, yeah.

I mean, go, Lash. But what do you call it? The crowd was popping on everything for you girls. Like, they were.

I mean, I don't think people realize how hard it is to do a four way tag and keep four in, because anyone could tag at any point, right? So it's. I mean, obviously to tag your partner.

There was a couple rules, but. Yeah, I mean, it's a lot. Yeah, but it was so much fun. I really wanted it to keep going. And, you know, it's hard now with WrestleMania, you're dealing with ad space and commercial breaks and different things.

But I was like, I wish we had, like, 10 more minutes.

But, like, it was like. It's overwhelming. And it was like. And I still felt like you won. I still feel like you were a part of it.

and not being afraid. And I love this quote because I felt like it brought in our journey to WrestleMania. It was like, you know, Nikki and I have been working really hard, and then obviously, there's a couple bumps in the road, some big obstacles, but Nikki and I always look at the bigger picture. And, you know, we're always. We're very positive people. And I will say, like, there was somebody who pulled Nikki aside literally right before our music came.

[Nicole]

No, you could say who.

[Brie Bella]

Punk. I will say Punk pulled Nikki aside literally right before we walked out. I mean, we were, like, in position. The forces were walking down, and we were in position for our music to about to go. But he said some really beautiful words to you.

[Nicole]

He did.

[Brie Bella]

Before you walked out. And I thought, wow. I. I don't think you understand how many people backstage and a lot of fans I think, see this too. Your kindness and grace for giving your spot like that to Paige in such a way of grace. It goes. It's. You don't see that a lot in our business. A lot of people have been upset, had a bad attitude, destroyed kind of the spot, not want to see anyone take it. Instead, you Stood out there and you actually gave it to her. Gave her your moment. Gave her everything you worked hard to get to. And that goes beyond you just being there a year and a half. That goes like over a decade. Everything right there. Like you said, come take it. And like it was awesome to see punk come tell you all of that. Literally. And then our music hit.

[Nicole]

Yeah.

[Brie Bella]

And then he was like, bye.

[Nicole]

And then I forgot to fix my hat.

[Brie Bella]

Yeah, I know. So I think you don't realize, but that's like a true champion. You don't need to hold the gold. You don't need to be known as the tag champion. That's actually a true champion, I think, because you always look at the bigger picture. But you do care about people. You're very empathetic.

[Nicole]

Yeah.

And so I feel like a lot of people are going to learn from that. But that makes you a champion.
